My first time visiting LA. It was great that I found IHG at Hermosa beach. Only around 8 miles from the Airport .CAB cost me $25 ( I dont why UBER and Lyft both were around $40). Beds were comfortable bathroom was clean. Full breakfast was great. Had everything. Hermosa Beach was 10 mins walk thru a safe and clean neighborhood. Pier had nice restaurants.There is a CVS and dominos next door on 2nd st. Trader Joe is on 10 mins walk 12th street. I did not have a car so I took 232 bus right around the corner to long beach fro 1.75. Better to have exact change and wear mask. If you are able to get a bus card. . Bus run every 25 mins. I took bus back to LAX. Staff was great, Front desk manager was accommodating as I needed to leave early. Overall great was stay. Hope to be back

Excellent location for walking to the beaches and town. Our room was spacious and very clean. Our bed and pillows were so comfortable. The bathroom came with useful amenities. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was a great asset - very safe and protected. Breakfast was served every morning. IHG express met all our needs and expectations for a well needed get away .

Very clean, rooms seem to be newly updated, beds were comfortable, breakfast had a good variety of choices, and the coffee was hot. Check in was easy and the gentleman was friendly and helpful with directions and suggestions. Great location to so many beaches in the area and walking distance to multiple local businesses. Great price for everything you get.

Breakfast was the best part of our stay, lots of choices available. Check in was a breeze and was able to get in at noon compared to advertised 3pm on website. The beach is 5min away. CVS is within safe walking distance less than 2min away. Front desk and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. Little to no noise from other guests. There is only one elevator for 3 floors but we were next to the stairs so that was nice. Didnt use the pool or fitness room but they looked well maintained.

Positive: LOVED every thing about this hotel! The service was super, breakfast was awesome! Our room was clean, spacious and the beds comfortable. Location was outstanding for our needs. Definitely would come back again!! Negative: The only thing that could have made it better would be a bit more of a savings.

Good location and a very clean room. Everything was working and the hotel was in good order. Parking can be tight be it’s located close to many places (CVS, taco restaurants, liquor store) that you can walk to some places. Just a few blocks from the beach but annoyingly close to some power lines running to the power station. Breakfast was the best of all the Holiday Inns we stayed at. Staff was very friendly and I would highly recommend this location.

Location is great, 10 min to Hermosa Beach by walk. Rooms are big and very clean, bathrooms are renovated. Breakfast was great, has many options! Employees were friendly. It was a great stay, we will come back!

Happy with the included breakfast and overall cleanliness of the room. Hotel personnel were also nice. The only thing that really could have been better is if it was even closer to the beach but a 10 minute walk is not bad at all.

Extremely loud construction on the 1st floor starts early morning, impossible to sleep even on the 2nd floor. Absolutely no respect for the guest. You are a hotel, I pay you to get some sleep, not waking up due to drilling and hammering sounds. Any reasonable hotel would not allow construction hours to start during normal sleep hours. Ridiculous

The hotel was clean and staff was great! Wish we couldve stayed longer but will definitely come back. Our 6 year old loved the pool too!
