I love this place. Store was clean, well stocked. Didnt really have much for clearance..but im sure this fluctuates. Had some good sales. I did however have to wait in line for like 20 some mins bcs they do returns in the same line they check out in. That sucked. Store employees were nice.
Hobby Lobby is like if a Michael’s and a JoAnna’s had a baby and then dedicated that baby to the church. They have a friendly customer service team and a great selection of deeply discounted products! I’m always so excited to get my 50 percent off items and tasty old school candies!Summary Review:Candy: 🍭🍭🍭🍭🍭Customer Service: 🧍♂️🧍♂️🧍♂️🧍♂️Selection: ✨✨✨✨✨Restrooms: 🚽🚽🚽PSA: These photos aren’t mine but are accurate to the store 🏬
Ive only been here a few times and I havent taken too much time looking all around but I did notice this store most definitely has way more stuff than I could have ever imagined. Like pretty much all stores, some prices are very reasonable and some seem high. They have some really cool, pretty awesome things. Customer service is amazing for sure.
Hobby lobby is by far my favorite craft store, they frequently have items on sale and/or clearance. Check out there website for additional coupons! You can find a variety of options for seasonal, occasional, and/or yearly events. The store is typically clean and customer service is proficient.
This is a big store and sometimes help is a little hard to find. They have a good selection of craft items, but they dont have everything. I was impressed with the amount and types of paints they had available tho. Some items are overpriced and you may be able to find a better deal online - do your homework before going to this brick and mortar store. But overall it was a good experience and I shop there all the time when I need am item NOW and will continue to do so.
They have great deals, however, one of the things that ticks me off is that they didn’t give me the discount that was advertised. Everything was original price. I had to go back in to get my items fixed. The cashier Cynthia not having it when she fixed my transaction. I hope Hobby Lobby upgrade their system that way it’s easier for both cashiers and customers. Everything is manual & I can understand that sometimes cashiers forget.
I fell in love with this store. I felt like a little kid in a candy store. I found every craft item I needed and tons more. It was awesome. Brain on fire kind of thing. Cant go in alone though, ID get lost for days. Lol. Oh and the staff are really nice and store was so clean. Wide aisles and clearly marked. Staff constantly either re shelving or stocking aisles. Only one thing made my eye twitch. The girl restocking the beads, shouldnt have been on her phone while on the sales floor. Too immersed in her conversation to realize I had a question. Everything else made up for her rudeness. Cest la vie.
This place has beautiful craft needs but If your black and never seen you in the store and you dont shop there often they follow you around the store watching every move you make where ever you go theres the managers right there looking at you they made me and my homegirl very uncomfortable with our shopping experience she spendt money and I spent $60.00 dollars does that sound like. StealingNo it doesnt if you dont go here often and black they will follow you this is a good place to buy craft and decorations
My absolute favorite craft store. The one thing that I dont understand and what bothers me. Why do you not have a rewards system? Even drug stores have them! Please make one! I end up shopping ar Michaels for my bulk items because I get deals and rewards. Think about it
Out if Christmas lights the day after Thanksgiving, seems everybodys ordering less and less every year but they used to have a great selection when they first opened. Dont get me wrong, we bought our Christmas tree from them and spend a lot there. Slim pickings there this year
Closed on Sundays. Very good selection on various craft supplies and seasonal items. Make sure to download their app as they offer a coupon for 40 (sometimes 50) percent off one regular item. Theyre fabric selection is decent; however, not as big s Joanns. Still... a great place to shop and get ideas and crafty.
Wow I just discovered Hobby Lovey little while back. I had just started my first stamp collection as well as coins. They have everything you need to be youre way to start. I also had purchased some antic art that I needed to get framed and with special preservation materials as well as special glass because sun light light and moisture in can damage youre art. Great friendly staff member made it very simple and great ideasAnd an amazing collection of real wooden frames all different designs and patterns and colors . With special discount on the frames going to save me money as well as my art come to life with that special Matt frame hanging on a wall. 🌠👀
Same as the other Hobby Lobbies in town. The customer service is friendly. Lots of nice stuff to see and buy. If youre into any crafts this is a good store to go to. I do embroidery and counted cross stitch so I always come to Hobby Lobby when I need something. I never have an issue when I come to this store. Its definitely a great store to shop at.
A very fun store! Visited last week with my wife looking for outdoor wall and fence decorations. They have a wide variety of arts and craft items. This is a big, clean store with wide aisles. Some items were somewhat expensive. We selected two yellow tag clearance items. The also have an online coupons for 40 % off any single item. Check out was reasonably quick. Will visit the store again soon !
My wife loves this place therefore I love it too. She finds all sorts of stuff to decorate the house with or to use for parties or even with her childrens Choir. Great prices and great selection. The staff at hobby lobby are always incredibly helpful. They have Michaels and Jo-Anns beat, hands down.
Always love to shop here. Stuff members are friendly. They have plenty of options if u wanna make changes to your house decor or change kids room style or need some mirrors? Clocks? Or need console , entrance table? Chairs,? Seasonal decorations like Christmas trees and ornaments? Photo frames? Paints for ur art projects ? They have them all. In need of laundry room decors or hobby needs some decor for man cave?love baking? Everything you need is here.Love this place ! Also they always have sales so prices are on cheaper side as well! One of my favorite places to go! 👍
I was looking for their bandanas. I asked an employee walking by if they had any. She said if I didnt see them they were out...and walked away.I figured they must carry them since she said that. So I looked all over the store until I found them. The store had them, but they were picked over. I selected a few and bought them. 99 cents each for most of them...what a bargain!
This is a nice store near our house. It is big and they have a wide selection of things for different projects. If you like doing projects there is a good possibility that you will find the items or the material for them. It is also a great store during the Christmas time for decoration and trees. I bought a Christmas tree a couple of years ago 50% off after Christmas. The staff is friendly and well walk you most of the time to the items that you are looking for. The only problem is that they are closed on Sundays and most of the time when Im running around it is over the weekend.
The customer service is very good. If you need help they are willing to help, not only direct you to the place of your asking, but they will show you as well. Cynthia great help, I saw smiles on cashiers faces, it was on a SATURDAY NIGHT🤭. THEY WERE BUSY. I came to get Christmas confetti for my cards. She was so helpful.
First time in this location to find color mat boards for my art piece. The staff in custom framing was very helpful but I had to run out to catch a movie. Will definitely recommend this place for friendly and helpful staff. Wish they would carry texture metallic mat boards.
This place is like an adult candy store. I could spend an entire day in here oooing and ahhhing, and not get bored. The store is clean, seems fully stocked, it is organized, and has many more items than Id expect to find. Perusing the store is very inspiring for a creative mind. I enjoy Michaels and Joanns, but Hobby Lobby is just another level. The prices are surprisingly very competitive as well. The clerks are also exceptionally friendly and polite. Its a super positive experience overall.
I really like shopping at Hobby Lobby, but the other day I went in for a gift card and had to wait in one long line for over 15 minutes. It may seem like a short time but with only one register open, with customers 7-8 deep and other staff in clear view doing other work, it seemed like forever. I would suggest utilizing staff a little more efficiently. Thank you and God bless!!
Super Jesus-y, they are even closed on Sundays. That kinda bugs me but its their choice. They have a wide variety of everything crafty and a lot of decor items that I was surprised to see. Theres no denying that the employees are nice and helpful. Make sure you hop online for a discount/coupon code because it is often 40% off!
The BEST customer service Ive ever received! associate Kristopher (was on receipt) made me feel so comfortable even with a big purchase and my three little girls with me. honestly the best care Ive ever encountered. the store is the best as well. always a sale and everything is organized. I could get lost in here!
Personal politics aside - which I understand - hl has a great seasonal selection of craft items and I like the fine arts section esp after Aaron bros closed. Hate their checkout lines tho. They are always long and slow as their pos systems dont scan so they have to type in each item manually. The 40% coupon is good for almost anything in the store too!
I love this place I leave credit card at home and carry cash.haha, seriously the price for jewelry making things is the best. And they have the nicest most contemporary home and holiday items, for the best price Ive been able to find. The furniture items are so trendy and reasonable I just love going there I could troll that store for hours...happy shopping;)
I could get lost in this store for hours!! The staff are friendly and helpful, and there is a lot of cool things to look at. The cashiers still manually enter the prices into the cash registers, which is somewhat quaint and nostalgic but can be painful for everyone if you are buying a lot of stuff!
Very young staff and Id say 1 in 3 are helpful but the store itself has nearly everything. Definitely a useful store just dont expect much help finding anything, especially staff. 3 stars for the store itself (inventory and cleanliness), -1 for overall customer service, 1 star for the young lady I managed to find on one of my visits who was sincerely helpful.
As far as hobby lobbys go, this one doesnt have as much for the slot car/train/models aspect. I went to get some sheet styrene and airbrush stencils but they didnt have any. It still has all of the home decor/arts and crafts that people like these stores for though, and the employees were friendly and helpful
This is my favorite place Me bieng a crafter Im also HazelleHoneySoapsL.LC. this place has craft needs for whatever you want to make Beads t shirts candles or your creations I love the what nots for your home and the cutest things in the world if you got some martha stewart in you! Its heaven for the decorator when your in hobby lobby you constantly say ooh aah thats pretty I like this and this and that, I want this and this be prepared to be in awe!
This is the best place to go for your hobby and crafts supplies along with any home decor ideas you have.Im personally into the plastic model cars and trucks. They have everything I need to put my hobby on the right track for success. I have also purchased many other items to decorate my home and man cave. There are many other things that you may need for your project, Im talking to you ladies. My female friends get a kick out of me for shopping there, cuz I spend more than I really need to, but I get carried away by the prices and the variety of items. My favorite store because it makes me feel like a kid again. Dont take your kids, they just might like it and put their imagination into over drive, give it a try.
Okay place to visit if you are hunting for decor for your new home. Choices are limited and most paintings are floral works. If you are looking for art kits, canvases, easel, etc. then this is the place to go. Prices are moderate to high but many areas of the store have 50% off all year round to that mellows the cost index down
My intentions were to go to walmart and buy my groceries, as I climed out of my car I dropped my mask...walking towards entrance of walmart the so called health ambassador told me that they had masks but I still could not enter without one...so I wasted my time and money driving to walmart only to be turned away...I walked to Hobby Lobby and told them my story they allowed me in to buy one which I did the moment I walked in. The lady at the door was so nice to let me in and allow me to buy a mask so I could enter..I ended up spending over 50 dollars there when I only came to get a mask. Needless to say I will not be going back to this walmart ever again thanks to the inhospitable door man.
As a Christian even I find this store to have an unadvertised but rather heavy handed religious influence for a craft store. The music was even sometimes somber. And I would not find it multiculturally Welcomeing. The asles are wide and the bathroom clean but I didnt see any healthy options in the snack displays. The clearance prices are ok but I saw a lot of chipped or otherwise damaged merchandise in the store and the prices are no real bargain. Much of the displays are difficult to reach and the islands are not user friendly so I was more inclined to look but not actually take anything to a register to purchase even if I really liked it. Some of the art and furniture is pretty but not a good fit for smaller homes.I have found some of the fabrics dissappointng and repeatedly had to wait for fabric to be cut and lines at check out. The notions selection are limited even in the currently popular laces.Lot of how too pages displayed but I did not get the impression that floor staff had any serious craft or sewing skills. Which means the store may be great for gifts but not the serious artist.
Lots to see...huge store! Not an expert on price comparison, where some merchandise had tags quoting big discounts or savings.First time visit. Does not open on Sundays; twice I had stopped by when it was closed. There are religious references in many categories of merchandise, not seen in other similar stores.
If they have what your looking for, their selection is good. Its maybe because this is a new location, but there is an overpowering smell of what I assume are toxins outgassing from the kitch and odds and ends. That, and the store is over-crowded with small aisles and product stacked up on the top of shelves. I, for one, found it overwhelming, and I can usually tolerate such places.
Omg went in around 1pm stressed could not find an item in any other store but an employee named Ashley sweet girl with glasses in this store greeted me. and must have noticed my stress bc she sweetly and warmly welcome me and asked if I needed help finding anything or had any questions. so i told her my day and what I was looking for . She listened and completely comprehend what I was saying she knew what and where In The store it was . She even walked me over and went above and beyond . She then stayed with me to make sure if I all my shopping needs was met and if I had any questions and she did not know she would find them for me. Amazing customer service skills. Will come back and recommend this store just because of employees like her . She made my day and turned a stressed out day into a thank you Lord for her day lol
Update: Ive been a bunch more since my complaining. The store has improved allot in all areas except for the check out lines. People get so angry. So, I had a very entitled lady cut me and say she was waiting longer. For a small candle no less! She then paid and went to wait back in line with her son who was being rung up. So yea, I dont know.Fix the check out process.Let me buy my stuff from my phone.:::the rest stays to mark your journey::::This is one of the worst....no it is the only terrible hobby lobby Ive been to.If youre like me then you like to look and plot out what to do with all the art supplies its like a toy store for me.Well, you cant! While looking and gathering inks, paints, fabrics or whatever you get bothered by the constant following or the dreaded, Can I help you.Once is fine but three times in 10 minutes is out right wrong. This isnt the first time either its a major annoyance thats happened now for a forth straight time here. One of the more laughable parts in the end is how slow checkout is. On two trips people just left carts in the checkout line and walked out. Maybe, I should start recording these things.Maybe, Ill continue to go to the elk Grove location. Or just conform to shopping on Amazon.Funny thing I was in Ross minutes before this place and if you go to any of those stores you know how much security is there.I didnt get followed or felt bother for looking for shoes. Greeted happily and thats it.Maybe this hobby lobby should resort to saying good morning/good evening and not have staff fake straightening up aisles.Artist dont like being bothered.
I was here with a family member, but I dont support them. Im sure they have nice stuff, but due to their lawsuit changing the power dynamic towards allowing religious managers to govern their employees health insurance choices based on the managers religious beliefs (what about the employees religious beliefs), they cant go out of business soon enough. Shop at Michaels or elsewhere
This place has probably the rudest staff of any place Ive vere been. God forbid you ask anyone a question. They either dont know or make it obvious that they dont want to help you. There are also no signs for anything and none of the placements make sense. Truly an awful experience.
They have pretty much anything that you would need for an arts and crafts project, they have a much better jewelery making section than Michaels and with the coupons that you can use every time you go its pretty affordable... The only con is that it is closed on Sundays
Workers followed me around the whole time like I was stealing something all the way until I got to the registers then they opened a special register for me and the manager sat and watched while I was being checked out like some how I was gonna run out wit out paying... I dont recommend shopping here if ur under 50 years of age and not white....
Excellent parking with cameras and security outside. Entrance is cool and refreshing with a cool guest of air on a hot day, as you walk in. Store is very clean and staff are very hospitable and courteous-in walking you all the way to the needed items. Store is very well priced- except for the baby shower merchdise. Party City was cheaper, with a better selection. I could not find any other items in-store that were more expensive than other retailers. The biblical items- Bibles, Worship CDs and other products were 40% cheaper than the Bible Book Stores all over Sacramento. Picture frames, linen, and hobby merchandise is 30% cheaper than MIchaels. Wedding merch is 25% cheaper than major retailers all over Sacramento. Bathrooms were very clean. Registers were not tense and the associates working them were quick courteous, helpful and very well mannered. Well done.
First time visiting here. This place is a very fine crafts and home decor place. If you are deep into plastic model kits from say Tamiya (the best IMHO), they have a handful of kits, and its mostly military armored vehicles (think tanks). Theres a small model paint section, which is very basic. If youre deep into RC cars, airplanes, helos, trucks, etc., Id definitely look somewhere else. Also, I did not find a section on balsa aircraft or anything related to it like Futaba RC equipment, gas or electric motors, Mylar, etc. Enough of the traditional hobby stuff - so then if you are into arts & crafts, home decor, pictures and frames, sewing and more mature forms of hobby work to pass your time, this is your place.

2022-07-17I love this store. So many neat items especially seasonal. I Especially like their fabric & yarn departments. But then the big kid comes out in me then I head for the kids hobby dept..this is a hobby store that has a bit of everything that any hobbyist would like. Its a fun store for sure.

2022-04-08Great store to buy all sorts of crafting and home decor. they frequently run sales so its best to wait till the item you want is on sale. lines can be long and extremely slow. make sure you know how much each item is and whats on sale because cashiers will occasionally ring items up incorrectly.

2019-10-19This was my first time ever in Hobby Lobby. We just moved from Hawaii and they have nothing like this there! The closest thing was Benjamin Franklin, but this does not compare! The atmosphere was blissful, the layout of the store was well thought out and organized, it also smelled good! This is my go to for crafting needs for sure! Keep up the great work Hobby Lobby Crew🤙 Would it be possible to grant any kind of discounts for our veterans and active service members? I did notice there was a section dedicated to the military which I loved as well!

2022-08-17Love Hobby Lobby. They posted a 90% sale on line but didnt find it in the store. Lots of items were 30%-50% off.

2022-04-26I liked a lot of their home good items. Their 50% off are only for certain items each week. Make sure to ask what is on sale that week, I didnt know until I got to the cashier.

2022-04-20There is a worker named Serena she is very rude. I waited in a long line and when it was finally my turn Serena decided to cut her customer in front of me after I waited so long. I mentioned to her that I waited in line a long time and that wasnt right. She said Im off work I just want to go home I ask to speak to the manager and she told the cashier call her and tell her she wants to complain about me. The manger didnt even seem concerned that her employee was so rude. Probably wont go back to that store again.

2022-03-02It was my first time going to hobby lobby I always wanted to and I wish I could have afforded to shop and not window shop I felt like a kid in a candy store I wish I could spend money on things like this for me but I enjoyed it in the store . I love your store hobby lobby .
