Gun belt arrived today. Putting the belt buckle in the 3rd hole which is a middle hole of 6 holes the wide under belt does not reach the loop. Also the outer belt is too wide to easily fit through the buckle. I don’t think these problems can be corrected with this belt. I would appreciate a reply.

This is by far a 5 star company to deal with. I purchased a 45 cal. rig (belt and holster) from them back in January. The service was great he product was top quality, the fit was just as ordered. Well, as this Covic mess went on I never got to wear it, plus some minor illness, diet, so on, I lost considerable weight. So here in August when I found out my rig no longer fit I called H.E. and explain what had happen. The Agent told me to complete a return form, fill in the exchange with what I wanted and box it up and send it to them. They got it and sent me my new rig right away.They really treat people right and with respect, and do not try to brush you off because youre old.
First time I ordered a 40 according to sizing chart and that was still a size smaller than I needed. It was to big. So I exchanged it and got a 38 instead. I recommend 2 sizes smaller, remembering that leather stretches after a while. Customer service is exceptional and will practically ship same day. Only draw back is I did have to pay for my exchange shipping both ways adding on $30 extra. But it is 2-day shipping.Other than that, I am more than satisfied with my .22 black gun belt and cant wait to strap that thing on with the rest of my get up!

Ordered a velvet jacket and a period shirt for my son for his birthday and he is SO PLEASED. the quality is outstanding. The velvet jacket is so sturdy and made beautifully. Bought a Canvas Duster from them and the outside looks great, a lot more brown than the photo but still ok, tho I was hoping for a more green coloration. The inside of the coat looks like a $20 costume piece you would find at Spirit Halloween, its a mess. It might be as functional as the real thing but it doesnt look the best for costumes. Id rather go thrifting and find an original Canvas Duster for $7, which i have done.
I highly recommend this store! I was looking for an authentic top hat for a cosplay Im working on and Historical Emporium delivers on quality and fast shipping. Please pay attention to the sizing chart as the products are very accurate to size. I had assumed Id need the smallest top hat (Im 52 female) but upon consulting the chart I actually needed a medium. It fits like a glove! Shipping was extremely fast, arrived within 1 week and I didnt even order express shipping.If youre waffling a bit over the pricing (I was skeptical about if an $80 top hat was really worth it over a $20-$30 one) let me tell you it is definitely worth the extra expense. The look and feel of the hat is absolutely spot-on and looks distinguished rather than like a cheap Halloween costume piece. If your look/costume depends heavily on a top hat being a part of the ensemble (magician, Victorian-era character, etc) you will want to invest.
I’m pleasantly surprised by the products and the especially the customer service. First, delivery was very fast considering COVID in the forefront. I needed a size change and thought it would be a couple of weeks before I got the new product. I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed the turnaround was less than a week. The product I ordered was made of durable material with great construction. I would only say that the sizing is a bit off. I wear a 36-38 waist with a 36 inseam in blue jeans. I returned the the pants for a 42 waist. It’s a tad big BUT now there’s plenty of leg room and a bit more room in the waist. I’m using the pants for outdoor work so a bit more room is necessary. Great product and I highly recommend.

Needed to build a holster for my new Glock 17. Wanted a gun belt in the western style w/o loops for obvious reasons. This belt was perfect. Well, almost. Would have preferred a 2 /1/2 inch wide option. Shipping was super fast and I waited until it arrived to finish the holster to match. I am very happy with the results. 5 Stars is not enough.
I ordered a brown RH draw holster for a long barrel Colt SAA and because I live all the way over in Australia it took almost a month for me to receive it due to the current pandemic.........when i finally got it I was amazed at the beautiful heavy duty holster, its just a wonderful item, with beautiful leather and the price was ( even allowing for the AUD to US conversion rate) more than fair. If all their products are of this quality I will be back to shop there again. Their service was fast ( unlike Aust Post & USPS) and I cannot praise them enough. Great product at a great price.

I have ordered from Historical Emporium three times recently. A right hand cross draw holster, a right draw holster and a cartridge belt. Each item I received was exactly as Shown and described. Each order arrived on time or earlier than stated. I called customer service to make sure I was measuring correctly for the cartridge belt. My call was answered on the third ring and the person was friendly and new exactly the answers to my questions. The brown Inverness coat is absolutely perfect! It is cheap, beautiful, and perfectly dramatic! I havent figured out if I am going to solve crimes or commit them while wearing such a beautiful coat, but at least Ill look mysterious while doing it! Another great buy!

I am so happy with my experience with Historical Emporium. I ordered the classic canvas trousers and canvas suspenders for my volunteer work as a docent. 4.5*We got a Bonaventure Vest - Burgundy Velvet, and a Silk Puff Tie - Gray for part of a wedding outfit. I (the Bride) was hoping the velvet on the vest was a little higher quality, for the price, but the Groom (whom they were for) Absolutely loves both pieces. The blouse is very nice and glad I ordered the larger size. The shoulder seams are very uncomfortable (like little pins poking into my skin). I will have to cover them with material in order to wear the shirt. Someone else mentioned this and it has not been addressed. Otherwise the construction is good quality.

I just received my order from Historical Emporium, super fast delivery (16 days before it was scheduled to arrive) Im genuinely blown away by the clothing I purchased, beautifully made, nice fabrics, the fit is pretty much perfect. Thank you to the Historical Emporium for the quickly despatched historical grey suit which I ordered, from South Australia. I wanted something to welcome our VIP and other guests to our small stone church, at Golden Grove, South Australia, to celebrate 150 years since the church doors opened in 1866, for June, 2016! I did not wish to be a fashion plate in silk & satin, and the grey moleskin outfit is more likely to be similar to garments worn by our early settlers. I have my great-grandmothers ornate satin belt with jet & metal adornments - it is at least half my waist size, so I will back with appropriate material, to secure it for longer! My waist 37 Hips 43 skirt length 41 Its a good fit I can ware it just under my bust line or at my waist. It is well made and worth the money. I would order from this company again. I bought the holster and belt. I was a littler concerned because of the low price as related to the description, as other similar rigs cost at least twice as much. I was pleasantly surprised that the full double leather construction and the hand stitching is excellent. I was concerned that the tooling would be stamp and of poor quality, but it is all hand carved and well done. Overall I got more than my monies worth. A piece of feedback would be that the holster design would have more of a trigger gaurd cutout as to allow the pistol to seat further into the holster. Great job,. I am recommending Historical Emporium to my friends, and I will definitely come back for more.

If you are shipping to Canada, DO NOT ORDER! My order was for $142.55 USD. Shipping charges on that were $32.95. Then, lo and behold, when my package arrived I had to pay another $44.08 CDN in Duties ($23.26) handling fees ($9.95), and GST ($10.87). So much for free trade, as youll have to pay tariffs on these goods. After already converting my USD purchase, and shipping costs, into CDN from USD, the various hidden fees amount to an extra 18% (!!!!!) on the cost of your order, and that is NOT counting PST if you have to pay PST or HST in your province. I have no idea why these costs were so high, and I note that different codes were given despite all my products being textiles made of cotton, but there you have it. Better to order direct from China rather than from Guatemala via the United States of America. All in all, my cost on an ostensible order of $142 USD was actually $281.00 CDN. As for the products, I have not tried the removable shirt collars yet, but the pants I ordered do not seem to match the colour on the website - they look far more brown than the photo, which made them look blue-ish.

Just received the Classic Canvas Work Vest in Tan color. This is an excellent vest! I got the tall size and it adds about 2 inches to the hem and a 6th button. The picture doesnt do the color any justice, its a sort of carmel or pecan color. It goes very well with the Brown wool Davenport frock coat I recently got from you folks. Thanks again Jeff

This 3X shirt fit very well. I am 6 tall and 2.5 through the shoulders. Im about 56 through the chest and belly. My neck is 22. The shirt is long, but not too long. The shirt fit great, but the jabot at the top was too tight around my neck. It is an easy fix. I just need to move the buttons from the side of the collar to the front of the collar. I am happy with the quality and the fit. THX

I have personally had a small problem with a product of theirs and they went above and beyond any company or business that I have ever dealt with. 2022-01-21I ordered holster around the 10th of December... it came a few days later. After trying it on, I realized it was going to be too large so I contacted Historical Emporium. They were easy to deal with, I sent the item back and the new (correct sized) holster got back to me in time for Christmas! Thank you Historical Emporium!!! Great Service!

2020-06-07As a very tall person 65 I am always a little skeptical on the listed inseams of pants. But I want to say tall guys dont be afraid to order from here! On the Regency Fall Front Trousers - Dark Brown the outside seam is 50 inches and the inseam is 37+. I can only hope the rest of the pants are made this long and look so good! They have a feel nice and look great, and very well made. I looked hard for loose threads or loose buttons, and found none, seams are straight, edges finished and the lining nicely done! Made as well as any upscale mens suit pants. I am a happy customer!
