Our 2013 Ford Escape has a different layout of fixing repairs at home. We tried other shops that just can’t complete or start repairs. Heritage is the only reliable and accurate place that has been able to fix any difficult repair our Escape has. Omar helped us tremendously after our blower motor was installed incorrectly (falling out of place and not screwed in) by another local shop. Plus the techs got it fixed on Christmas Eve! Thank you so much Heritage Ford Staff and Omar!- Michelle and Ashley
I recently bought a brand new Ford ranger and was told about free oil changes for life at Heritage Ford . I found out their service department is very unprofessional about giving you detailed information when you bring your Vehicle . I had called in asked about making an appointment and the gentleman told me the next one available is five days out , I then asked him how long will it take and he said a couple hours , I said I really didn’t wanna wait around for that long he said bring the vehicle in at 7 AM in the morning will get you in and get you out in one hour, So I did that two hours later I asked about the vehicle and had even touched , I just said forget it and took my Ranger and left . The service guy should’ve told me when I went up to his desk that it was gonna be 3 to 4 hours just to get my oil changed.I truly at this point wished I never bought a Ford ranger from Heritage Ford and next time I will go out of town to buy my vehicle .
Had my car towed to this place after speaking to a service tech. No call after 3 business days. Called them and they had no idea my car was there. At there lot for 5 days with key still in ignition. Highly upset. After all this headache they didnt even offer a resolution or a little off the nearly 1000 repair will definitely not be back to them.. After seeing the other reviews seems I am not the only person thats had some issues with them..... Hey heritage ford maybe you guys need to fix something over there?
Over the last three oil change services, after a week afterwards, I end up having random issues on my car. They claimed my brakes were still good, but in reality, they were shot, down to metal on metal. The last two times, I end up having battery issues, from random stutters, to my car refusing to start. A tech from my road side service told me that the battery was good and after that, and a simple bolt tighten, everything was good. The recent trip, resulting in the same issue. I dont know if they drain my battery down or what, but three strikes and Im not coming back.
We recently purchased a brand new 2020 Ford F250 diesel 4x4 from Heritage Ford in Modesto. One of their selling points was free lifetime oil changes. Today, with an appointment, we took the truck in for its service. When the truck was brought around and returned to me, I noticed heavy grease on the front bumper, grease was smeared on the inside of the drivers door panel, and also grease on the headliner. When brought up to the service manager, he said that he was sorry, and that he would talk to the man that performed the service. They did make a half effort to try and clean it up, but I still have quite a bit of time in scrubbing to get it back to new condition. I cant believe that a company that is supposed to be reputable, would have such incompetent individuals working on customer owned vehicles. I have a call into the general manager, and at this point havent heard back from him/her. I am very disappointed. Jason Hicks
Be very careful buying a car here. Especially with Franklin. He has no problem false advertising to his customers. As well as we bought a car for $17,000 we put $10,000 down. He gave me an interest rate of 6.99% when my credit score it over 850. Shortly after I spoke to the bank. They were confused and shocked on why we had such a high interest rate. Out the door after everything Franklin charged us $28,000 for a used car. The car isn’t even worth that much new. Be very careful with these people. The dealer is going to be under investigation. My grandmother doesn’t read or speak barely any English. She’s Hispanic. Franklin took advantage of my grandmother and gave her an application in English. More than half of what he said was not on the contract. Be cautious!!!
3/31/2022 @ around 3:18pmThe lady who answers phone calls for the service department was rudeOn 3/31/2022 I was getting an oil change and When I called the service department at 3:18pm I said “hi, I was wondering if my car is ready for pick up?” With a rude tone she said” I don’t know, I don’t know your last name.”Don’t know why she had to be rude like that.
I drove from Southern California to get my Ranger. There was no hidden fees or anything. The process was faster than carmax.Everyone was super nice and extremely easy to talk to. Irene was so awesome and helpful.Don’t listen to all the recent bad reviews. This place is great.
Heritage Ford in Modesto is easily one of the worst car dealerships I have ever visited. There was nobody in the lobby any of the three times I walked in. I had to walk around for several minutes and eventually call them on the phone to be greeted. They advertise competitive prices which come up when you search for inventory through Ford.com. This makes this dealership seem like a good option, but it is false advertising. I drove over two hours to get to Heritage Ford and once I was there I realized that every vehicle on the lot had between $3,000 - $10,000 of markup OVER MSRP. These adjusted prices were written on the window stickers in a sharpie and were noted as market price. I eventually was told by the sales rep that Heritage has been doing this for a couple of months now.Dont believe what they try to tell you, there are plenty of other Ford dealers that are not charging this ridiculous markup even with the current supply chain issues (review written during July 2021).The only thing that was not a complete disaster at Heritage was their salesperson Juan who did a commendable job of showing me multiple vehicles and making suggestions. Adding insult to injury, I was offered roughly 35% less than book value if I wanted to trade-in my car. When I let them know that I was expecting a number closer to the middle of the book value recommendations I was told that the sales manager laughed at my suggestion.Furthermore, Heritage Ford was unwilling to come down to MSRP or to drop the price to anywhere near MSRP on the vehicle I wanted to buy. Avoid this dealership like the plague. There are a ton of better dealers out there and you dont even have to drive that far to better spend your money elsewhere. I found what I was looking for at another Ford dealer where I was treated with respect and professionalism that were sorely missing at Heritage. The bait and switch pricing at Heritage Ford is dishonest and sleazy.
Gonna be honest here... the service techs and advisors are great. Theyre pretty fast and accurate at what they do. That said, the female who often answers the phone in the service department seems to be having a bad day at all times. Numerous times my company has sent vehicles here for service and other items and she is quite short with not only me, but also my several employees I have sent there.Pretty sure if that happens again, Im going to be visiting in person to speak with the management.
If anyone is getting oil changes here at this location becareful, they overfilled my 2016 gt mustang and now has a valve leak. They wont own up to it and they want me to pay for the mistake they did. Bad service, will never buy anything from this location again!Overflowing engine oil can cause various seals and gaskets to fail as the excess oil is forced out of the engine. As seals and gaskets fail, the vehicle will develop oil leaks, which can leave unsightly stains on a driveway as well as produce low oil levels in the engine, causing further damage.
I have had many positive experiences with Heritage Ford in the past, however I purchased a 2018 F 250 in February 2018 all positive until I had a service warranty issue March or April of 2020 my main battery cable had an issue which caused a battery problem and the main cable plus both batteries needed to be replaced (diesel) I had the truck towed to Ford on a Sunday. Monday I received a phone call regarding the issues, I was told that both batteries needed to be replaced and the main cable would be replaced, great all covered under warranty. Two days later my truck was ready I went to pick it up and I was advised the main battery cable was on order and both batteries had been replaced but to get the vehicle running the service department installed a temporary battery cable end. Fast forward 30 days I called the service department for a update and I was advised again no word on the cable. I called another dealer in California in August 2020 they said they could get the cable I passed the information to the service manger and nothing ever became of it. I was in California in February 2021 stopped in to have a oil change and asked about the cable again, Same story not in. At this time I advised Heritage thatI had retired and as of Dec 2020 I now live in Idaho. Two days ago almost 16 months later I received a call that the part was finally in and they wanted me to set an appointment to bring in my truck. I reminded the service tech I now live in Idaho so I asked to have the part shipped to the local Ford dealer where I live and to coordinate the install, as of today I was advised That the service tech could not make that happen, Why I asked I was advised that I would receive a call from the Manager next week let’s see if that really happens, Heritage Ford if you read this please contact me Russ Woerz you have my number.
Went here to get new tires and an oil change for my boyfriends 2016 F150. Was told it will take 4 hours, which seemed long. After 5 hours we called to check on the vehicle and they said they would return our call after talking to the tech. 30 minutes later we had yet to receive a call back so we headed there. On arrival the truck still had the old tires on it. It was a frustrating experience since we had plans to leave that day for 3 days and this was holding us up. Thankfully they were willing to keep the truck and when we arrived 3 days later the work was finished. The heritage ford body shop is amazing though!
If you want to buy a car from Heritage, you’d better drive quickly and they may not bother to respond to any complaints. 4 weeks ago helping my 18 yo buy his car. We looked at a car on Saturday and wanted to have it inspected. They told us up front they could not hold the car so we paid $268 for an expedited inspection on Monday. It revealed a couple items but my son was told the person who could make the call in whether the dealer would do the repairs was out until Wednesday. My son spoke to Dona on Wednesday who said the dealer was satisfied with the car and would not make the repairs. My office is 120 miles from the dealer so he said we would be there at 5 to buy the car as is at the asking price. Dona said fine the car would be cleaned and ready to go.She called an hour later and said they sold the car to someone else. Right out from under us. When I spoke to her she said more or less too bad and “I didn’t have any paperwork” on the car. Mind you I would have gladly signed all the paperwork electronically if asked to do so.I asked for and received the GM’s email. I wrote to him and got no response after a week. Dona had said sometimes his email is difficult and she offered to print it out and leave it on his desk. So after a week I sent her a copy. No response. After another week I wrote to the owner. Two more weeks have gone by with no response. Needless to say I’m less than impressed with Heritage’s customer service.
Great friendly service and quick turnaround. On last service check they notice a small oil leak. Said they would need the car for a couple of days, ended up being ready the next day. It was under warranty so no charge. They also did their free oil change, and made sure tire pressure was good. Omar and Jesse were friendly and helpful and I got a call right away when my car was finished. Ive always had good service here, and will continue to bring my car here, from the Bay Area, to get service done. Done right, frienly staff.
This is my fam here, been buying Fords from them for 20 years now. Get all my major service work done here for my daughters mustang, F450, Explorer, F150, and recently (for this review) a 2021 Bronco First Edition. I will always come back to these guys, cant recommend a better Ford dealership than these guys, even in todays market, they will take care of you. Thanks to Dona and Fred, and the rest of you at HFoM!
Somehow my review was deleted. This place has the worst customer service. WORST. multiple times we have not been called after an oil change was done. The worst was when we went for n oil change, didnt get a call, tried to call them and they said it wasnt ready. Next day, we call. Still isnt ready. FOR AN OIL CHANGE. Finally they say to come get it and they cant find our key. Management was frantic, tech were running around cursing. Extremely unprofessional. We ask them to give us a new key and they wanted us to pay for it! THEY lost the key!
Terrible service department. Nanny the Manager doesn’t care, the schedulers are rude. I’ve bought two cars from Heritage Ford I will not by another. I would suggest to everyone to go the Turlock direction to the ford dealer there. I didn’t by a car there but they made me feel like I was a long time customer.
We bought a 2013 F150 brand new from Heritage. We were bringing it there for the oil changes, but after a few appointments and dealing with the rude and unprofessional service staff (Omar and another guy) We chose to take the vehicle somewhere else and pay for it. That’s how bad they were. The one time I tried to take the vehicle for warranty work because the rear defrost went out (a couple of years into owning the vehicle) I was told it was a faulty sensor and that because it was inside the glass, it would not be covered under the 3000 plus dollar extended warranty I paid for. I understand why they don’t cover glass, because they can’t replace every damaged or broken windshield that comes in, but it was the sensor in the glass that was faulty. I even had the shifter go out last year that was still under warranty, but I decided that it wasn’t worth dealing with their staff and took it to another Ford dealer for repairs. Fast forward to Nov 2nd 2020, we had a pump or something to do with the fan motor go out. My wife convinced me to take it to Heritage for repairs and give them another chance since my extended warranty is still in effect. The service rep, Rocky is very polite and professional, it looks like they may have finally weeded out the “bad actors” in the service dept. Vehicle was taken in on Monday Nov 2nd and I was told it should be ready by the end of the week. I didn’t hear anything from them, so I checked in with them on the following Monday the 9th, seven days later and was told there would be a delay in getting the part. I’m thinking “ I’ll be patient, at least the rep is polite. At this point, I also asked if a loner was available as my wife drives the vehicle to work daily. The answer was no. Ok, fast forward to yesterday 11-11-20. I called around 4:30 pm to check on the status. Service rep says hang on, I’ll check with the tech working on it. he calls me back and says the tech left for the day, but it may be ready, he will call me tomorrow. This morning, 11-12-20 The service rep calls and informs me that there is one or two more parts that are delayed and my truck will not be ready until next week. Are these parts on a slow boat from China? Again, I ask if they have a loaner my wife could use to drive to work, since we are delayed another week. The answer is “ I don’t think so, your warranty is expired?” I informed him that it is not expired until the 15th of this month and he says, “oh yeah, that’s right.” Again, as a courtesy, I ask him the check on the loaner option for us, haven’t heard back. So here we are and it looks like we will be without our vehicle for over two weeks for a fairly minor repair for a staff of professionals. A blown motor should take less time to fix! Why are they not reaching out to other dealerships for the needed parts to expedite this situation? Anyway, I don’t want to spend over 3000 dollars on a repair that is under warranty by taking it somewhere else, so I guess I’ll just take it in the shorts and wait till the vehicle is ready and just cut my losses.
I purchased a 2020 Ford Explorer at the heritage Ford dealer ship, the car is new but it came with a few problems. One of the main problems was a sound, and a white smoke that had already come with the Ford Explorer keep in mind it’s new. I went to the Ford heritage dealer ship twice to check about the sound, the first time I took it they lasted about 3 days to only tell me that there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. The second time I took it to my surprise they gave me my car back even more damaged then it already was, right below the ST symbol right at the back of my car. The car was not like this when I took it to the Heritage Ford dealership, when confronting them about this damage they did not take any responsibility whatsoever about the situation. I’m very frustrated as you can see about this because the car is new and I’ve taken excellent care of it too, only to come to the surprise of it coming with the issues mentioned and the damages added once I took it to the heritage Ford dealership. If there were an option too place 0 stars I would, I’ve purchased 2 cars from this dealership and planned to buy more for my company, but with the treatment and the lack of integrity and responsibility I’ll never come to this dealership to ever purchase a vehicle ever again. As a warning to any person who brings there car to the Heritage Ford dealership please take a whole video of your car before giving it to this dealership.
We had such a great experience with Heritage Ford. The vehicle purchase process was quick and hassle free. Bonnie reached out to me via phone after I made an internet inquiry and when we arrive at the dealership Mando greeted us and began helping us right away. Graham and Gary were awesome as well. Our paperwork was done quickly which is my preference and our new car was delivered to us before we were done completing the paperwork. Excellent customer service! We were explained all of the features of the car as well as warranty info and free oil changes for life!! Nice! The follow up contacts from our purchase have also been great. Bonnie reached out to us to follow up and Im truly sorry we missed her, shes a wonderful person. I know we will definitely be returning to Heritage Ford for our next vehicle purchase! Thanks everyone! 🚗💨. 👍🏼
Came in for an oil change. They didnt call me when it was ready and we had to wait until the next day to get it. During this time they lost the key. We spent hours the next day with mechanics and managers running around yelling at each other to find it. Extremely unprofessional all around. We had to get the car re-keyed and when we asked for a 2nd key to replace our second key(which is currently out of state) - they refused and wanted to charge us $125. They LOST the key and by re-keying it, makes the second key useless. We have had iffy service here every time we come in, but this tops them all. We have been without a car for almost 24 hours and unable to go to work because if their incompetence. Their customer service is severely lacking.
I went there to try to see whats wrong with my car and a guy at the service desk tried to scare me away with the price of the diagnostic price. Not willing to help me and solve my problem. And just assuming that i cant afford it. So unprofessional and if i was a male, they would have treated me differently. I will NEVER come here ever again.
The sales reps are great but the service department really lags on your vehicle. I took my fusion in at 10:am and on a Saturday when there was only one car ahead of me and my car wasnt finished until 12:31pm I only had a oil change done. If they would try to at least get you in and out on time this could be a good location.
I had scheduled my car for an oil change a week and a half prior by phone. Usually the day before they call to confirm, they didnt. I took my car anyway explaining to them that I had an appointment made, told them the date and time. They said they couldnt see me in the system. They asked me if someone emailed me or called me to confirm, but no one did. They told me the next available appointment was not for 8 more days, so basically its going to take 20 days for an oil change even though I had an appointment. They tried to tell me that sometimes people make appointments at different dealerships and could cause a mix up..........Ive been coming to the same dealership down the street from my home ever since I bought my car from there almost 3 years ago now. I think I know well enough on who I speak with and where. I never had a problem making appointments before until now, usually theyre really on it and would take me in anyway, but they were too booked for the day. Basically they screwed up. I understand that mistakes happen, however; apparently nothing can be done except to just push me back 8 more days when I had an appointment made. This experience was unprofessional service, frustrating and very disappointing.
Went this past weekend to check out an Explorer with my family. After having a relatively unenthusiastic salesman help us out (the guy was pretty much falling asleep on the test drive) we went inside to see what the numbers would look like on this car for a lease. After declining the first offer , they brought in the sales manager. He gets very aggressive with his sales and lowers it a few times to which we politely say No. After a few offers we decide to leave to go check out what other cars in the same segment might interest us (since that’s what a good car buyer SHOULD do) so we tell him well think about the price and get back to him. So now we’re leaving and right when we get to our cars ( we came in separate vehicles) the sales manager gives us on final offer to which we, once again, say we’ll think about it. Which we totally were by the way since it was a genuinely good offer.However.. upon leaving in our cars I noticed he was muttering something to his fellow salesmen on the lot as we drove off. I don’t know if he noticed it but I had my windows down in my car while my brother had his windows rolled up. I’m guessing he didn’t think I’d hear it BUT I’m 95% sure this guy called us “***holes” because we left. So yeah after that I’m definitely never gonna buy a car from these guys. And it’s a shame too because we’ve had good experiences in the past. This was definitely not one of them and completely unprofessional and lazy from start to finish
THE BEST!! Oscar and Franklin were awesome and very helpful!! I stopped by due to me seeing a Honda that I was interested in!! Did a credit application & from there Franklin made it happen!! Im in love with my new car!! I highly reccomend this dealership, they work with you, they are not pushy at all, they are Very patient! All in All, I loved my experience with this dealership. THANKS GUYS!!
Its ridiculous that, with the purchase of our Mustang which included free oil changes for life, the service department is consistently unable to fit us in, on various days/times, for the walk-in oil change for the past three YEARS. Worse, scheduled oil change appointments are at least 1 month out. This doesnt even begin to explain how theyve broken wheel locks or failed to diagnose a low battery (what we brought the car in to have checked) only to have it die completely the next day. Not impressed with the service department AT ALL.
Very Professionally run Service Department. Customer Service and Attention to Details is excellent. Would highly recommend Heritage Ford. I Purchased the Car there and with that they give you life time oil changes. You can drop off your car for service and they have a shuttle bus to take you to where you want to go while they work on your car.
I have been shopping for my new truck for several months. Heritages customer service stood out from all other dealers I had visited. From the first contact via email to wrapping up the paperwork, everyone was friendly and helpful. Our salesman Rocky Gouker was patient and thorough with my many many questions and accessory selections. Its great to see that customer service is still alive and well. Great experience!
I have bought two cars from here. Sales department is great. My reason for giving 4 star is due to unwelcomed and unfriendly service department. I called them for a part that need to be replaced. Service department said they will call me back for price and availability, but I never heard back from them. I called them many times to get hold of the guy, but always got hanged up by saying he will call me back. From now on, I just get my oil change done here, because they do it for free as part of their warranty. For all other services I go to my local garage people, who treat their customers respectfully and more friendly. Not like here who feel like they are above from customer and treat them as not important.
I went in for my usual oil change (free oil changes for the life of my vehicle- How great is that?). Over the weekend I tried to change my air filter but I couldnt get the sensor off. They offered to change it out for me for free. Theyre always kind and helpful. I trust them.
Bought two cars from Heritage Ford and I couldnt be happier with their customer service. Had a few issues such as losing my keys after first service but they provided a car until they programmed a new key. Upon buying my truck, I do wish the sales team were a little more educated on the vehicles. I felt as if I knew a little more then about the vehicles than the sales man who sold me my truck. There was a lot of Ill have to check or Ill have to get back to you from the salesman.
The staff and service here is pretty darn awesome! My car kept stalling in me, it would occur randomly , well planets were aligned this morning because it stalled 4 times while he watched it, Jesse got my car in and his awesome team fixed my car and sent me on my way within 4 hours.
Pretty bad experience, came in to look at a 2020 Mustang GT and assistant sales manager Graham Wariso would not work with me on the price. Just a few days ago there was a heritage discount which he said was no longer on the table because “they needed to make money” but I thought Ford was looking out for Americans during this crisis? Apparently Heritage Ford cares more about money than they do their customers. I was ready to sign on the dot for the right deal but Graham didn’t want to make it. And no test drives? They “don’t want to add miles to their new cars” they didn’t mention COVID in the reasoning at all. I’m not sure if they thought I was too young to buy a car but I was treated unprofessionally and I do not recommend this dealership to anyone.
Well my experience was really bad. I was trying to order,,, a fan resistor ,,, for my mustang. The guy,, who was customer service for parts,,, told me,, I needed the part number,,, than asked me for the Vin number,,, even with the Vin number,, he was no help at all. I added up ordering the part online. Since ford modesto ,, parts department was no help at all.
Thank you Heritage Ford for the assistance in choosing my first new car. I had a great time looking at the various models available. Armando, thanks for your help with everything from all the little questions to just showing us the various colors of the car I liked. We are a Ford family and have enjoyed purchasing three cars from this dealership. Great service and great prices!
Customer service is always attentive to my needs. Im always greeted with a smile. I have bought parts and had my cars serviced with out issues. My brother took his early 00 mustang and had an engine installed by the dealer. No issues after the engine installation its been a few years that it was done. I recommend this place.
Absolutely horrible experience! Definitely rude and if you plan on leaving your car there know that they will not call to update you on the status of your car and mine ended up being there for 5 days!!! Its also hard to have any one call you back. I am currently waiting for a call from management as there was more to my experience. I do not recommend this dealership, at all!
If I could give 0 stars, I would! If you plan on buying your car here, please rethink. I never did business with the sales department but I would often bring my cars for service. The service advisors are always on s bad mood and very rude. I brought one of my vehicles for service with the service advisor “Omar”, he was very very rude from the first moment greeting me as a customer, brought my vehicle to repair my drivers seat that would not recline and my door panels that were coming apart, a typical warranty service on my 2017 Ford Explorer, he called me after having my car for two days, saying that my seat is broken as well my door panels???? He couldn’t explain what happened and why it happened. Then he said at the end of the call, since it’s not warranty I’ll charge you a diagnostic fee that I obviously said I wasn’t going to pay because I didn’t sign anything saying I was going to pay anything at drop off. Then he flipped off and became even more rude towards me. He threatened me to never service my cars again and again a very bad behavior for a person that deals with customer service on the daily basis. I’ll gladly take my business to price ford of Turlock where they know how to treat a customer with respect and won’t threat you. I’m also filing a complaint with ford motor company, specifically for this service advisor that should not be working there with that attitude. His service manager is aware and didn’t do anything towards the situation. Is this a serious dealership or another shady business that after sell the vehicle, screw the customers with their service advisors??? I really hope the higher management see my email and this review and can improve their customer service. No need to be rude or threat anyone!
We feel we got a good deal on two new vehicles and fair trade-in value for our trades. We are happy with our car buying experience. The sales team (Franklin and Oscar) that helped us treated us well and answered all our questions courteously. We feel we got the best possible price and we love the free oil change for life policy. We would return to this dealership in the future for sure.
Let me just say that my heart was set on a Mazda... but I drove off with a Ford and got more than just a vehicle. Little did I know the inquiry I made online during my lunch would turn into me driving off the lot with 2019 car keys in my hand the same day! Life time oil changes and the warranties were the BEST part of the deal! I was in shock about how smoothly it went. Im the type that cant be sold--- You have to listen to me and be patient while explaining things or I wont budge! They asked me what I was looking for and delivered within my budget, and then some. Over the phone I spoke with a manager named Donna that said shed take care of me. When I came in she put me in good hands with a man named Johnson that took care of me from start to finish. Thank goodness for them truly taking care of me!! Thank you Donna and Johnson!! The lady in the office that went through the signing of my paperwork, thank you too! No more Lyft and Ubers for me unless Im out of town or out for happy hour. Choose them, they dont disappoint!!
On Saturday October 21 we met Rocky. He is an amazing guy, we went in and he showed us all their inventory starting from the used that we wanted to see and then went over to the new trucks. He explained everything step by step and was extremely professional, courteous, and very helpful answering all of our questions. We decided to buy the 2107 model after all the information we got from him and everything went really smooth. Will definitely be back to buy my cars here. My family and I appreciate everything he did hope his Boss Reads this review you have a wonderful employee.
My spouse and I decided it was time to upgrade our vehicle for our growing family. We went to three different dealerships in Modesto and found that not only did Heritage Ford have the best vehicles for our needs, but the most friendly and informed staff as well! There wasnt a question that our guy, Leo, couldnt answer for us! He was not only knowledgeable, but very attentive as well. He encouraged us to test drive different vehicles and actively searched for other cars at Heritage Ford (and elsewhere) that fit our specifications. By the end of our visit we knew that we wouldnt be leaving without a brand new Ford Explorer! Thank you to Leo and to Heritage Ford, we love our new car!
The experience was great. Five stars. I love the car. Smooth ride, more room. I was very happy with the deal, and I am very glad I went forward with it. Oscar and Freddie were great and went above and beyond to assure my happiness. Gary in Finance is one of the best people I have ever worked with. I cannot say enough good things about Heritage Ford. I have already told several people and I hope you generate more business. Thank you.Sincerely;Sal Balzano
Had recall work done on my car. They made a next-day appointment with me, and they were very helpful. The lobby was nice and I to my surprise played good music. Props to Jesse at Service who helped me during their lunch break and even got me to laugh on a Monday. He upsold me a car oil change, but it was the same price as my usual oil change place and much cleaner. Im very happy with my experience and if I need any further work Ill schedule my next appointment here with Jesse again.
The service workers are friendly. They offered to do a recall at the same time as my oil change. My car was ready when they told me it would be. My radio was NOT changed to another station so didnt need to adjust to my station. They leave the car clean inside. This time I didnt even need to change the position of my seat - which is unusual but nice - just got in and drove away - no adjusting. The ride back to my home was safe and very much appreciated. Thank you.
I purchased 2 vehicles from Heritage Ford and have been taking my current vehicle in for oil changes, etc... just as I did with my prior car. I recently had problem with a coolant hose which cost over $400 to have it repaired along with my oil change and at the time of the appointment I notified the service rep that I only wanted the oil change due to the fact I didn’t have the amount needed for the repair. I agreed that I would pay for the part. The service rep then asked what time was my appt? and told me that my name was not on the list, I replied that he made the appt. I was told that since I had made arrangements for the coolant repair my oil change couldn’t be done. I promptly walked out. For 6 years I repeatedly gave Heritage Ford high reviews and was a satisfied customer. Today I’m giving Heritage one star!
This is the 3rd car I have purchased from Heritage. The reason I returned to them is because of their great customer service in sales and in service. Oscar Salas is always responsive and got me an even better deal than he first promised on my new Explorer. Jesse in service is always friendly and gets my car out on time, every time. I highly recommend this dealership and I will go back there for my next car.
Im so excited about my car purchase at Heritage Ford! Johnson and his team mate were so supportive I couldnt ask for more. Ive been sick off and on last year Johnson and Dona called checking on me and continued reaching out I knew if and when I purchased a car it would be with Heritage because of them.Thank you and God Bless you for your good work.SincerelyVeronna
I’ve purchased 3 brand new cars from this dealer and appreciated the free oil changes until now. Yesterday my son took my vehicle in for the oil change and when he arrived home my car thanks to the technician’s filthy oily and greasy hands now has marks all over the tan cloth areas on the top by the visor and sunroof! It’s awful!!!! I’ve taken pictures of the mess!
Had some problems getting parts for my car.I called and made a phone order for a power steering belt for a 2010 ford edge Limited 3.5l v6. They said the part would be in the next day. It didnt come and they didnt call me to tell me it was going to take two days before it came. Waited two days and no phone call, I called and they said the part was in. I drove over to get my part, toke them about 20 mins to find my part and it turns out they ordered a bolt and not the belt. They then ordered a the belt. Took another day and again they did not call me to let me know it was in. Took the part home, didnt fit. Took to a shop thought I was doing something wrong... they had two techs try wouldnt go on. The shop called the parts department and was told that was the wrong belt. They ordered from one of there supplies and got the right belt and where able to install it. I then toke the belt back to the ford dealership and it was the same guy, didnt recognize or remember ordering the parts. I told him it was the wrong belt and he told me it was the right one. I said why wouldnt it go on, 3 people tried it and it didnt work. He them mentioned how dirty it was, he said he would return it if had the box. Look its pretty apparent that the belt was packed in the wrong box. Came straight from the shop to here Im not coming back a fourth time just bring a box. You have made countless mistakes and you should fix and stop wasting me time.
Paid over $1600 to have my truck fixed two months ago for what they diagnosed as a bad pcm. Now today my truck is experiencing the same issues while I’m driving on the freeway causing my tires to lock up going 65 mph. They tell me they won’t be able to look at it until Monday or Tuesday. No one in service department is helpful. Now it seems like I paid a big amount of money for something that wasn’t even fixed in the first place. You pay for something to be fixed and they can’t even help you when it’s obvious the issue wasn’t actually fixed. No help with anything. The service manager Nunie was the most unprofessional manager I’ve encountered. Very argumentative and unapologetic, he was another level of rudeness. For being a paying customer I was treated in a very unprofessional manner. Jessie Martinez is the only good thing about the service department. Other than him it is very subpar.
Ive been in the automotive business for over 16 years and i have to say that when I want to buy a car for myself, I want it to run smoothly - just like I would do for my own clients. The guys at Heritage Ford simply GET IT. They understand that the client comes first and if you treat your customers right they will be loyal to you. This was my first Ford product since 1985 and the reason I bought it was Heritage Ford. The service was simply perfect.
Horrible experience. Drove in at 5:30 pm and left at 5:35 pm. Associate about mid 50s bald gentleman walked and asked what I was doing. Didnt offer any options or service what so ever. I felt like a delinquent being stared down. Barely answered any questions on what I had for the mustangs i was looking for. Just kept his eyes on me. As a manager in retail myself, his poor sense of urgency to make the experience welcome was poor. he showed very little respect. I almost felt as if I was asking for permission to buy something off the lot rather than him selling me a car or asking the correct questions. Definitely wont be visiting again due to poor treatment from said associate. Disrespectful and completely unacceptable behavior.
We love Heritage Fords Service Department! Nunie and Jesse are always friendly and helpful. I trust their recommendations and I always feel confident in the advice and service that I receive. We are long time customers and the staff at Heritage Ford are like family to us.
I am very pleased with the service and also with the sales department. Leo Rivas, Oscar & Jesse (service) have done their utmost to provide the best possible service any customer would want. I not only am satisfied with the service, but the after communication of your sales rep Leo & Jesse.I recommend all my family and friends to you at Heritage Ford.Keep up your smiling faces and your wonderful attitude to your customers.Frank & Cindy Favaloro
1st time buying from Heritage Ford and also 1st time buying a Ford! It was one of the best buying experiences ever smooth all the way to signing all the paperwork and even surprised us with a better rate got a Ford Flex and already loving it definitely will buy here again and recommend to friends and family! Joe was a awesome sales person! And free oil changes nice!!!!!!!!
Ive taken my vehicle there for a recall notice and they said they fixed it but a couple days later the problem started again. So I took it to a different dealer that actually fixed it and its been fine ever since. Ive also taken it there for an oil change and they wanted to sell me a battery that they said was bad but wasnt. I feel like Im just a number and hurry up to get me out. I only go there because I get free oil changes.
I went to this dealer because they claimed to be able to help me with a new car. I explained my entire situation and that assured they could do something. With over 24 hours awaiting any answer I had to go down there to even get one. Poor customer service and told me my options with them being absolutely ridiculous. They claim there was nothing more they could do. Constant Change in what they would need. I decided against using them for a new car. I went elsewhere and within 1 hour I was approved for a more expensive car, lower interest rate, lower down payment by HALF and a far better warranty.Very very disappointed!
Amazing service department! I have had a number of issues with my AC and Omar Ramirez, the Service Manager, did everything in his power to ensure it got fixed. I have only had one issue with Heritage Ford, and Omar went above and beyond to fix the issue. Great customer service!
I always appreciate the service from Heritage Ford, especially my service representative, Omar R. He makes sure I am satisfied with the work they do and if I call in for a last minute oil change, he tries to fit me in whenever possible! Thanks to Phil in the garage for assisting in the suggestions to help my Fusion shift more smoothly! 8^)
My husband brought our Mustang in for a Ford air bag recall. My husband said customer service wasnt very friendly, cold. We are 1st time customers to this area from So Cal.I work in the automotive field, and know if that was my customers 1st experience I wouldnt have a job!!!!CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NUMBER ONE PEOPLE!Wont be back! We will drive out of our way to go elsewhere for our Ford needs.
Mr. Franklin Badet greeted us with in minutes of arriving at the dealership. He was knowledgeable on all levels of the cars we were interested in, and offered a number of choices. He was thorough without being pushy, and answered all of our questions to our satisfaction. We had brought an offer on another similar auto from another dealership. He was able to find a similar/ better car in stock, and beat the price of the other dealership. We purchased the same day, the whole signing process taking less than an hour. We were very satisfied with our experience and would recommend that anyone interested in making comparisons on automobiles give the folks at Heritage an opportunity to serve you.
Two words: Incredible service. Ive actually never seen a company go as far as Heritage Ford did this weekend. Not only did they help me out of the car I was in, they managed to work with the loan agency to get the best possible deal for me and put me into a brand new car. Oscar and George really out did themselves on this and I have already spread the word to friends and family about taking the extra time to go to Modesto and do business with them. They are honest and efficient, which was a big deal for me. Im now enjoying my new car and have so much less stress about the vehicle and the company I got it from. Rather than taking hours, as my last dealership did, these guys had me in and out VERY quickly. Thanks again Oscar!
I do not ever recommend getting a car from here. I bought mine almost 5 years ago. Lots of bad things right from the start. Throttle body went out, headlight was always dim, door panels peeled down ( I was told even though I bought the extended warranty it wasnt covered- and $900 each door so I glued them) and most of all the issues- my transmission went out, 2 years into owning it. Took 2 weeks to replace, scratched my hood. Ive had many issues with it still. I did buy it used, but I would have never though, even with these issues I would go through the hassles I did. One time, while having my oil changed they kept my car ( during Christmas) w out any phone call or anything. Locked it behind a gate. I get off work late and would p/u in the front- but when I found everyone had went home and my car remained locked behind a gate I was so upset. By chance a manager was leaving late and got it out for me. He was so upset and couldnt find any paperwork on it. Told me the oil may not have even been changed. A week later ford calls me to tell me my new airbag is in. I asked what airbag? And she tells me the reason they kept my car. Since I never got a call even about keeping it OR that I had an airbag possibly full of metal shards I was stunned. And she was very rude. Long story short- Ive had many more issues but now I take it somewhere else. Im having transmission problems again and called to be notified that my warranty expired last month. I cant believe they wouldnt back up the car that has been a lemon. I will never recommend a ford from this establishment. I spent over $20k and got all the warranties I could, just to be jerked around.
I really like that place Ive got nice people and everything else! I have to say that Luis Rodriguez was very helpful he knew what he was talking about and answered all my questions I had asked! If anybody ever asked me about a place to go buy a car I would send them there to Heritage Ford 2100 Sisk Road Modesto California. I bought myself a 2019 Ford Fiesta SE and Im very happy with it! Great prices friendly people.
We just bought a special order super duty from heritage. After considering Sonora and Oakdale, we decided to give our business to Modesto because of salesman Leo Rivas. Leo is not your typical car salesman. He is genuinely interested in helping you find a car that you are 100% happy with. We came in asking questions about specs and though Leo did not know all the answers, he asked others and spent time with us searching the computer for them. Leo helped us decide on the right vehicle for our growing family. He was upfront and honest about what we would expect with an order (timeline and price). When our new truck finally arrived, Leo spent time with us going over the features and small details of operation. When I showed him something he didnt already know, he was pleased to learn something new. Even now, after a month since we drove off the lot Leo still helps us out getting accessories and answering questions. If you are reading this on the fence about whether to do business with this dealership, go talk to Leo.
I wish all dealerships were this good! I went in looking for a Mustang and was greeted kindly and not intrusively by Leo. He was very nice, patient, professional and informative.Leo went well out of his way to help me decide on which vehicle I wanted most and kept me updated and informed of everything I needed to know. Big kudos to Leo!And although i was still deciding between the mustang and another car, the team at heritage ford really were a pleasure to work with. I had numbers ran while i was there and wasnt pressured at all to buy right then and there. I needed time to think and they were very understanding about it and didnt chase me out of the store trying to sell me the car. I really enjoyed working with everyone I dealt with there.I live about 30+ miles away, but would come back to this dealership should I chose to get a car by Ford.
The entire team was super helpful and took their time explaining all of the features on my new car. Definitely worth the drive from Brentwood. Awesome price on the car and loan interest than the loan I was already pre-approved for. Only downfall was waiting for car to be detailed and finding out they didnt have the floor mats for my brand new car. But they are mailing them to me! Thank you Franklin, Bonnie and Gary!
You should really educate your staff in the service department on how they should talk to your customers over the phone. If your going to be rude and have an attitude with your customers why on earth would i want to take my car there or buy any future cars here. Treating your customers with respect and being courteous goes along way.
Heritage Ford in Modesto, Ca. has a friendly, professional and very honest Service and Parts Dept. I have been bringing my Ford products here since 2000. Ive never had a complaint. As a bonus you can now enjoy your favorite caffeine beverage from their new mini Starbucks style brewer. My many thanks to the crew at Heritage Ford.
I really appreciate the time that their salesman Rocky took with us to help us talk through our choices. He was clear when it came to pricing and options and seem very knowledgeable about the cars on the lot. Rocky was kind and professional! It was a very positive experience ..thats why this is the second car weve bought from Heritage Ford!
Id been eyeballing the Edge for a few weeks. Aside from liking the car, I loved the experience with Rocky. No pressure and lots of patience. Wish I could have done the deal with just him. Graham being the financier of course wanted the sale and albeit reluctantly at first, I made my decision. My dislike, the reason for four out of five stars was the lady in the finance/signing department. I felt super uncomfortable, not understood, major lack of compassion and a smile that did not exude true friendliness. Yes, I was sitting there because I made the choice to buy. Yet making such decision is not easy anytime...doubts creep up etc. When I asked for clarifications, I got one of those smiles and repetetive answers. I do not lack knowledge or understanding. Please Heritage reeducate. The lady definetly knows how to do her job and shuffle papers but do remind her, that people have concerns, fears and initial doubts. She absolutely took away from what should have been an exciting time. Just ask Rocky.
Hello people...just got my car back and thanks for the service and hospitality and for the great job.....very professional and my visit was great and positive experience with all the staff.... thanks Gary for everything....10/10...great job everyone!!!! sincerely Johnny alvara
There is always a wait of at least 2 weeks for an appointment (usually 3 weeks) in the service department. The clerks who answer the phone are extremely rude. They seem to forget they work in customer service and I think I would get better service from a robot. The actual techs who help you are nice as was the shuttle driver (even when the aforementioned clerks on the phone were treating him like garbage). The reason I give 2 stars instead of 1 is for the shuttle driver and the techs. I would much rather go to Turlock or Escalon for service. I only buy Ford and will never buy a car from this dealer because of my experience in the service department.
I Had taken my vehicle in to be repaired by Heritage Ford 2 years ago. It cost me over $4000 to repair. Everything the Heritage Ford dealership had replaced needs to be replaced again. They didnt do the job right the first time and some how my car limped along until now. The PCM went out on my 2005 vehicle, which is usually very rare to go out, as well as ignition coils and two cats and they supposedly repaired these items. My vehicle never ran right after they did the repairs nor did it ever get anywhere near the gas mileage it should have. I was getting 6 mpg less since they did the repair. I am now having to replace ALL the work they have ever done on my vehicle which are parts that should last at least 5 to 8 years and other parts should last even longer. I called Heritage Ford about this issue and they refuse to even work with me on this new repair. My PCM has to replaced again as well as the coils they put in. In fact, Heritage Ford did such sloppy work, the current dealership is baffled by the work done via Heritage Ford. My vehicle is now under investigation to check the serial numbers of all the parts replaced and match them to the original off the line parts from the vehicle prior to any repair, to see if they actually replaced the broken parts. Heritage Ford is a bad business and the Better Business Bureau will not recommend them as a credible business. My suggestion is do not repair any vehicle there. Do not buy a vehicle there because they refuse to follow through with warranty work. I used to work for a company that was literally in the dealership renting cars to customers who had vehicles ruined by their service department. I spent most of my time listening to the issues from Heritage Ford customers while maintaining a non-biased opinion. Despite the MANY bad reviews I had heard/read about them, I still took my vehicle in to be repaired there and now I am one of those customers who got screwed over by that business. It is time they start taking responsibility for their actions. I am not asking for anything unreasonable, just replacement of the parts that SHOULD have been replaced by them in the first place, parts in which I was charged for. They need to be responsible for the poor repair jobs of not just my vehicle, but every vehicle they touch.
This review is regarding the service department. Ive taken my new 2013 Ford Escape Titanium there for numerous warranty issues with known TSBs, but the nincompoops in the service department cant/wont replicate the problem, even though I gave them specific situations for when they occur. One of the most serious problems is that the vehicle suddenly stalls without warning. Ford has published a fix for it, but these incompetent wannabees wont apply the fix unless it happens right in front of them. The vehicle is there today with a list of problems, but I was notified by Jesse that the tech could only verify 1 issue so thats all they can fix. Theyve had the vehicle since yesterday morning for that? From what Ive read they dont get paid as well for warranty work, so they probably dont want to bother with it since they cant make any money on these fixes. BTW, dont just take my word for it, check that other review site that sounds like help but starts with a Y. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these incompetent nincompoops, and find another dealer! Youll be glad you did; I wish I had. :-(**UPDATE: just picked up the vehicle, and they didnt apply any fixes even though they told me over the phone that theyd be doing one. In addition, I caught them telling a complete lie: On my work order it states that they checked & reset the tire pressure to 36 PSI on all 4 tires. However, I always keep my front tires at 38-40 PSI, and I had Jessie check the tire pressure upon receiving my vehicle, and the front tires were still at 39 & 40 PSI (cold tires). This is the second time this has happened, so that proves that the techs are NOT actually doing the work they say theyre doing.
Heritage Ford Modesto is a great place to find a new or used car or truck. They have a very professional staff that is willing to work with your credit to get you the vehicle you want. The best part is they have oil changes for life on your Ford vehicle!!!! I liked the staff alot. I highly recommend this place. The lot is really clean and nicely organized as well.
I bought a 2012 Focus Hatchback and was so pleased the way I was treated from start to finish by Sam Dozier and all the others. I just love my new car and how everything was set according to what I need (i.e. service and warranty). I was impressed they way they took the extra time and step to help me. I would recommend them to any one.Rev. Dale Hartman
Ive lost count of how many times I had to take my ford in to be fixed for the same thing. Problem with the clutch. Now it seems there was a recall on the clutch. I hope this is the last time I have to take my car in for the same problem. I dont like having to pay $350.00 a month for a car that I bought not very long ago and have to be asking people for a ride. Imagine if I hadnt paid for the extended warrantee. And Im not rich. But the service this time was alot better than the other times. The gentleman that helped us was very pleasant to me and my hubby and I appreciate that very much because when I have car trouble with my new car Im not very happy. So thanks very much to that nice man for fixing my car. I hope it lasts this time :)
I made an appointment to have a bed liner installed n my 2018 F150. I had my boyfriend take it in to the service department who acted like they didnt know why he was there. Then my boyfriend was told it was a 2 1/2 hour job. That seemed to be long since the installation only cost $30.00. He got irritated with the rude attitude of the service person, went to find the service manager but he was available. The bed liner was also being purchased from Heritage. We are not happy with the installation job and plan to bring it back to see if it can be fixed. There is buckling on the driver side where the bed liner is not secured. I cannot drive do to surgery, but as soon as I am I will see what can be done. I also wonder if the poor treatment is because I did not buy my F150 there.
We just had our 2017 Ford Escape serviced at Heritage Ford of Modesto and for the second time since we bought it over a year ago. I have say that the folks at Heritage Ford are top notch when it comes to product and customer service. When we decide its time for a new car Heritage Ford is place to go.
I would like to HIGHLY COMMEND Omar Jimenez (Service Advisor) and all Technicians that have worked on my 2006 F-150 Lariat the last 9yrs since purchase from Heritage Ford in 2005.From oil changes to Maintenance and for all my other concerns this service dept is all about delivering great customer Svc.They have kept my family and I SAFELY on the road and I would recommend NO other shop in the area for your Ford Products.Heritage Ford is the place to GO!
Im in love with my new car!The car buying experience was made completely painless with the knowledgeable and friendly staff, After taking the time to find out what my expectations and needs were and ultimately what would be a perfect fit for my budget, they were able to direct me to my 2018 Ford Focus .Thanks Guys for welcoming us into the family# HeritageFord#TeamTufono💗
I went there to buy a 2017 Ford F-250 and was met by a smiling salesman named Johnson. He went over every F250 with all the options and throughout the buying process showed me the operation of every knob and button. I was treated with respect by the whole staff mainly with the salesman Johnson to the computer wiz Donna down to the Finance lady Firial. If you want to be treated by a friendly staff with no sales pressure then come on over to Heritage Ford in Modesto off of Sisk Rd. I traveled to Oklahoma the very next day and my truck drove like a luxury car and was very comfortable. I will be telling all my friends of this place!!!
I was satisfied with my purchase, I love my car and Hertifage Ford helped everyway possible with my trade in and giving me the best price for my car. It all started with an online inquiry which I wasn’t sure about, but once I was there and with their help I was determined to actually follow through with them.
Rough customer service at the window to sigh and pick up your vehicle. These ladies seem to be tired and overwhelmed with laziness. They get upset when they get up from the chair to do their job. They end up raising the voice to the clients in front of other clients (Julian and karen) Store Owner Brett Smart, please pay attention.
The salespeople are chipper and friendly, which I appreciate and value, but I was a little taken aback by one of the people in the service department. Maybe this is insignificant, but the coffee machine wasnt working in the waiting room, so I asked if I could go to the showroom to grab a cup, to which one of them replied and told me no and that there was a McDonalds nearby.
Heritage Ford of Modesto is the place to buy your next Ford......George Farhond was so patient and professional while I decided which Ford SUV was for me. He helped me evaluate new versus used and various options I could get with different SUV models. I decided on a new Ford Explorer and could not be happier..... I LOVE IT!!! George set me up with Sam Dozier who was extremely knowledgeable about my Explorer. Sams customer service was excellent and he gave me a thorough explanation on all the features of my new Explorer. I highly recommend Heritage Ford and George or Sam to lead you to a happy experience purchasing your new Ford!!
I got a van that was a year old...was really happy until i realized air conditioner wasnt working right....brought it back within a month and was told freon was low..ok so Ill bring it back and they can fix right? No..even though i got van at herritage they made me take it across town to another auto dealer because they couldnt service it..wow, so you will sell something you cant work on?? Just not right..a few other minor things went wrong but again they couldnt help me so i had to reschedule at other shop. If i got van there and they throw all these promises out...HELP! But no, guy had an attitude. So now I have a leak in my transmission after only having for 13 months..dang whats nex!? Overall, if you want a ford only its ok to go there...just dont buy anything else there, even if it sounds nice comimg from their mouth...they just want a sale😤
Horrible service perfect credit score on me like flies and when I want to return the new vehicle I purchased they want to leave me waiting in the lobby for over 1 hour with no questions answered and the run around i specifically asked for a recreational towing vehicle and was lied to that is cause for termination of contract please contact me asap fordFORD DID WHAT WAS RIGHT BOTH PARTIES WERE WRONG AND THE ERROR WAS CORRECTED MUCH APPRECIATED THANKYOU FORD
I just wanted to Thank you Sam for my awesome new 2013 Ford Escape!!! I love love this car! I appreciate your no hassle policy and your friendly down to earth approach! .. Thank you to Johnnie F as well for making this happen! I did have one problem ---- the gas mileage on this thing is soooo great - I have already put almost 5,000 miles on it! So I will have to come back in a few years to upgrade because I dont see me or my Escape slowing down anytime soon :) .. Thank you Heritage!!!!!
Made an appointment on line, when I arrived they told me theres a glitch on the On Line Appointment pushing my appointment back. The customer agent said hes going to take me anyway, but that wasnt very much help as it turned out still to be a 2 & 1/2 hour wait for a Oil Change & Tire Rotating that normally would take 45-60 minutes. Will not use that On LIne system again and just call them.
Must have been battery selling day, as my wife took her car in for regular service, and she came home with a new, overpriced (IMO) battery. We never had lack of sufficient cranking amps, from the battery, until after it entered the check-in point, to the Service Department. While there, she asked for an inspection of a fluid leak, behind the right rear wheel. Service Department said they could find nothing wrong that might cause a leak, which was clearly visible on the inside of the wheel. The fluid on our garage floor indicated that, at best, service personnel only gave it a cursory glance, if even that. A subsequent appointment to specifically address this leak, turned up a broken shock absorber, which any qualified mechanic would have spotted, the first time around. We feel that advantage was taken of my wifes naivete and lack of mechanical experience. This is a 2014 Mustang, with only 10,000 miles. We wont be taking her car back to Heritage Ford, for service.
For me customer service in the parts department is awesome !!! 🤗😁 As for the service department I personally think their customer service attitude is the worst !!! 🤔☹️ This was not my first time dealing with Heritage Ford service department with negative results !!! Keeping it real yall 🤗
So they sell u a new car and then when u come to service it with it being under warranty. It will not be fixed properly or have dents ir screeches on it that were not there i asked a tech he said most guys dnt care because the start at min wage lol. I was shocked ford pays their employees so low just not a good place to buy from or have work done.
I would give only 1/2 star if I could. My sister bought a 2014 Ford Focus. Salesman lies, tells her she can fog lights & sets up appointment. For another $3,000. ALWAYS get promises in writing. After 4 years she had transmission problem she took it to Big Valley Ford in Stockton (where she lives), they would fix it but HERITAGE FORD In MODESTO wouldnt waive the 40 mile clause they have. She had to go get car from BV Ford & take it 30.3 miles to Heritage Ford. NOT enough time to tell whole story, so to make it short... OWNER wouldnt talk to her, refused to let car be fixed anywhere but there, then had the nerve to ask my sister to NOT give a bad review on survey Ford sends out...😋😂
I have purchased 2 vehicles at Heritage Ford. First, in 2005, was an 2003 Mustang GT. Second, a 2012 Chevy Impala LTZ. Both were used, in perfect condition. And Heritage stands by their offers. Have always done free oil changes. Using the oil that the vehicle calls for. Their oil brand, motorcraft, of course. Salesman are nice. Along with anyone Ive talked to while there. I will see what Heritage Ford has to offer when the time comes for another vehicle!
I hate going to dealerships. All I ever had were bad experiences. I came with my niece and her husband who just bought a car there with Armando and they told me they wont be pushy or agessive and they werent. I love my Ford Escape. I dont know yet how to work all the new gagets but im learning. Thanks for your help🙂
This review will never get on bad reviews as part of how they can get better. I made appts and end up calling them. I understand Spanish and it was not right. Calling me names and names I couldn’t repeat. When I made where is my car and it would be done. The car all of a sudden showed up after five hours. Im never going back. An appt is an appt and shoul be done.

We bought a 2016 Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) F150 from here. The SYNC 3 APP feature wasnt working. We were told by the salesman Mario, that our 2016 F150 did not have SYNC 3 it had SYNC 2, even though the original window sticker showed it was equipped with SYNC 3. Then we had the pleasure of talking to the sales manager Oscar. Sales manager said we had to purchase new USB ports for the system to be updated, that would be $200. We said we had Android phones, not iPhones why would the USB ports need to be replaced when androids connect via Bluetooth? We called Ford directly and they said we didnt need to replace the USB ports since we use Androids phone. A downloadable software update from Fords website came-out in 2017 to correct the Andriod auto glitch and just put it on a thumb drive and connected to the trucks USB and that corrects the problem. Heritage Ford, when they certified the truck didnt update the SYNC 3, which no big deal maybe its not part of the CPO process. But what I am pissed about is that they first didnt know it already had SYNC 3, they lied and said I needed to spend out of pocket $200 for new USB ports, and lastly they didnt offer to do the right thing and install the update. The person at Ford who helped us over the phone was surprised to hear that they tried charging us $200 to upgrade the USB ports when we have Android phone and we just purchased the from them. Heritages customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Staff either doesnt know what features vehicles have that they are selling and most importantly management tries to charge for stuff thats not necessary to correct the problem. This is a principal thing I feel they should have handled differently.
Hiring staff super inappropriate. Not professional at all especially Oscar salas. Wasted my time for 3 days had to go to the DMV for him to get a driving report. Then lied about calling the companys insurance to hire me. Oscar salas is the most inappropriate unprofessional person there.
Drove all the way down from Fresno granted I got there late in the evening and met a salesman named Rocky. I made it quite simple for him base 5.0 manual mustang in black no frills no bells and whistles all cash. I even gave him two days to find me the car. If it were me I would have had it there that night but thats me anywho two days later he calls got the car I said I would be in to pick it up when I came into town the next day. Next day comes I even text him before I go he says we are good I drive 90 minutes and get there and no Rocky to be found anywhere like he fell off the map. First what kind of salesman doesnt show up period but I digress come to find out by the salesman who said Rocky put him in charge yeah right you dont know where he is but he told you your in charge but I digress come to find out he didnt even locate a Mustang didnt even start so I wrote good ol Rocky a great note he probably framed my point being if that is the way they treat you on a simple straightforward deal imagine what they do on a complicated one.
Went on a test drive with my 23 year old son and the sales guy was getting creepy with me. Asked me to get into the back seat with him, just started his job, didnt know anything about the mustang. Ladies if a young blond sales guy offers to help you find someone else. That guy was seriously creepy!!
2017 Ford Explorer broke down. Heritage Ford left my family, with a 6 month old baby, stranded. Would not replace vehicle. Would not put a new transmission in vehicle. Still tinkering with the broken transmission almost 30 days later. Nov 27, 2017 to Dec. 20, 2017. Does Mr. Scrooge or Mr. Grinch work at Ford. See complete post on yelp.
I would not take anything to heritage to fix. Very expensive. They charged 590 labor I called other for dealerships that would do same Job for 400 labor in Turlock and Ceres. Its sad they arent honest about how long they take to change parts and instead go by a book and overcharge. Hopefully no one has to go thru what I did and takes there car or trucks to other dealerships for repairs.
I just bought a ford focus from here two weekes ago and today I get a call telling me now I need a co-signer or bring back the car. Meanwhile I already sold my only othercar because I thought this was mine. Now I am car less. I have to take mine four kids to and from school everyday and go to work and school myself. I just feel so inconvenienced. Sad day for me.

2022-02-08I was on a mission to buy a new car and it began and ended here. On Saturday the 30th of January I stopped by here to look at the new car offerings (an Escape in particular, though was curious about the Edge) I was greeted by Armando, very friendly, non pushy sales man. He asked me if I knew what I was looking for, and I told him I was interested in an Escape, but that Id not seen one in person and just wanted to look at them and kind of get a feel for the size of them etc. He said his wife drove an Escape and that she was very happy with it. After looking in the new lot, he also suggested I have a look in the previously owned section.Thats when I saw her. (She would be Phasma and mine, but more on that in a bit!) A beautiful white escape with the titanium trim level. She was near the street with the big balloons tied to her and just a beautiful suv!I walked around, took a couple of pictures of her and got Armandos card, telling him Id be back when ready to test drive (I had 4 models of cars I wanted to get a feel for etc)Now my family has used this car lot for nearly 40 years.I went and looked at a few other cars/suvs and did some test drives Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. Then it was back to Heritage because Id not sat in or test driven this beautiful SUV.Armando was off that day, I thought about calling his cell phone but hey! Everyone deserves a day off! But I was greeted by Irene who was wrapping up some business then said shed show me the car. Well, we went for a test drive, I even had her drive (so I could get the passenger experience and push buttons etc)I didnt want to wait anymore! This beauitful car had only 10k miles on it, does EVERYTHING (I swear it can do my laundry, I just havent found the right button lol) and I got it for a great price. We did the paperwork and Franklin (he was great by the way) explained the paperwork (this was a new experience for me) he also explained my options with no upsell on anything - I ended up getting to extend my warranty by 3 years for minimal cost. I appreciated him taking his time explaining certain things and forms...he helped it go smoothly.Overall, it was a great experience. My only advice would be to keep in contact once the deal is wrapping up. Silence or getting put on hold for a long time when we call in with a question is concerning. So: look for Armando and Irene (and Franklin too!) and youll be alright!

2022-02-16Juan Leon is an excellent sales representative of Heritage Ford. He was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and made my purchase of a new car a seamless experience. He promptly returned my texts and phone calls, and if he didnt know the answer to one of my many questions, he found someone who did. The other members of the staff at Heritage Ford were also great. I was very impressed with the dealership. I highly recommend Heritage Ford to anyone interested in purchasing a car!

2022-01-24Been coming to heritage Ford for oil changes on my 2014 mustang for over 3 years now and have decided I will not be returning. Upon my last visit I also paid for an AC recharge which they charged me $150 for, just to tell me there was a leak in the hose which would need to be replaced and installed that would be an additional $700! I thought that price was a bit steep so I took it to a certified AC technician for a diagnostic where they ran dye through the hose to find any leaks. To my surprise no leaks came up and they told me all that was wrong was that it was completely empty which means Ford didn’t even try filling my AC yet charged me $150 for AC refrigerant! So grateful I was referred to M&D auto in Tracy for the diagnostic and fill up, they only charged me $80 and my AC has been working perfectly ever since. I immediately reached out to heritage Ford for a refund since their AC tech charged me $150 for a false problem and tried to scam me into paying an extra $700 for unneeded repairs. Instead of issuing a refund they told me to bring my car back in so they can take a second look at the hose but of course I wasn’t naive enough to allow them to go under the hood again after everything was already working perfectly. So I’m out $150 but saved $700 nice try heritage. I highly recommend anyone getting serviced by heritage fords service department to have a separate mechanic give a second look before paying for any repairs they say your car needs. Also the customer in line before me was arguing with the service reps for a similar issue, so at least they’re fair and pull this scam on all customers. I left 2 stars because my oil changes were always good and Omar was always helpful, but this AC scam lost you a customer and should cost you guys a lawsuit.

2022-06-23Recently bought a brand new vehicle. After a week of driving it, it had some issues and it was towed to their service department. It stayed there for 3 weeks. I was never offered any help or solutions, I had to reach out to them and set something up because I desperately needed a vehicle. They offered me a rental that they would partially pay for and only for 10 days. Including gas over $200 came out of my own pocket to cover those 10 days. When I was told I could get my new car back I raced there because I had a busy day and nearly no time but wanted my new car again. I didn’t have enough time to return the rental that exact day but it was only Tuesday and was told I didn’t have to return it til Friday anyways so I figured it would be fine if I simply returned it the next day on Wednesday. Wednesday morning comes and a service member calls me and rudely states that I should have returned the rental that day and they would not be helping me with the one extra day I took. I explained how no one made me aware of that and I was planning on returning it asap. If they had told me this prior I would have waited the extra day when I had a little more time to pick up my new vehicle and return the rental. Keep in mind my new car was in service for 3 weeks and they had only partially covered 7 days of the rental. Their service department needs to work on communicating things properly to make the patrons aware of situations and charges. And the attitude I was given was not necessary especially after having to deal with all this for the past three weeks. Extremely dissatisfied and unhappy with heritage Fords service department.

2022-02-08Definitely not happy. Bought a color matched folding bed coved for my F150, forced to pay for installation via online. They tried to charge me an installation fee which I had proof of the email stating I paid it in advance. Had an appointment at 10:30 am. Truck wasnt done till 2pm. Everything Ive seen online with installation with these is 30mins-1hour if I did it myself. So a professional should be done quick and easy right? So we walked around went to lunch, did a little shopping. Came back around 12:30pm and my truck was still not even touch. Hadnt even started working on it. Then was told it would be done around 1:30pm. Whats the point in making an appointment if youre not working on it at the appointment time. Will never go back for anything there, but the cover looks amazing and seems to have been installed right. Only reason Im being generous with a two star rating.

2022-03-26Unbelievably outstanding, Take note: 4 days prior taking my Ford Taurus to Heritage Ford, I was experiencing problems with my Audio and Phone Sync system. I tried better than half dozen places to correct my issues. Not only did these places fail, their knowledge was limited and I began to have major concerns. Being from Oakdale, I decided to reach out to the reliable Heritage Ford in Modesto. My first impression was: when I placed a call to the service department and explained my issues in my concerned voice! Their response was, can you bring the car in 7:50 a.m. Wow, I jumped on it right away. During and after the service was completed. I was astonished by the proficiency and quality of the service. AND to my amazement, I WASNT taken to the cleaners. Driving home back to Oakdale, I felt like a youngster with a smile 😃 from ear to ear. Way to go Heritage Ford, Modesto.....

2022-05-31Heritage Ford Modesto has an awful service department. It is a disservice. They have a service writer (O.J.) who is less than honest. He will say one thing by phone, then change his story after they have your vehicle. I do not recommend you trust these folks to service your vehicle, unless you dont mind being hosed. They do not stand behind their substandard work. Your vehicle will be better serviced by the Three Stooges. WHAT A DUMP!!

2022-04-02Pretty lousy, called about service and a recall. Guy was clearly irritated he had to answer the phone, didnt want to look it up without recall # even though I had vin#. Recall # only gives you that particular recall, ford in the next town looked up with vin and found a total of 3 recalls. Asked about ac service and would not be given a price, a bunch of run around even though I asked specifically about ac recharge/service. How do you not quote a price? Transferred to a voicemail at the end of it all. Frustrated, I tried to communicate through website chat and here I am 10 hours later with no follow up. It took 5 seconds for the ford dealership down the road to line me up and quote me on ac. I dont need a response from Heritage, I truly hope reviews like this get brought to the attention of the lousy staff and result in some changes. I get it, good people and workers in general are in short supply, but every place is dealing with that. Figure it out guys. By the way, this is my work vehicle, 1 of 8 vehicles that will now never be serviced at HeritageMy name is Holland not Erik, I work for an engine distributor as a dealer rep, not a mortgage company. You do not have my vin because your team would not take it and this vehiclecame from Nebraska, so you dont have it on file. At no point did I become irate and I never claimed to know the owner, I have never set foot on that place. You either have your wires crossed or have intentionally compiled a list of nonsense in an attempt to negate my initial review. Ive left 2 bad reviews in my life, I dont take joy in it...feeling ok about this one though. This shouldnt be a fight. Again, the review was an attempt to bring issues to light so maybe your team can fix things, I didnt want a response and certainly wasnt expecting one this crazy.

2022-06-26The experience and pleasantness of Eddy Alvarez (sales), Johnson Vadigar (Sales Manager/Lead) and Fred Enwiya (Finance Mgr) made our over 1 hour drive to Heritage Ford well worth it. The fair trade in amount and price for our new Ford Escape created a no haggle encounter that ended with my wife and I having no buyers remorse and being very happy with our purchase.
