Horrible experience. Took my 2018 Honda Accord because the brake light system went on on my dash. Took the vehicle in and they couldn’t figure out the problem. Long story short, I sold my vehicle to them because the repairs to fix it was going to cost too much. They had my car for over a week and every day they would say I would have my car the next day but the next day came and they still couldn’t fix the car. At the end, they offered to pay off my loan ($12K) and they still made me pay $760 for the service that they couldn’t even fix!! Essentially, they bought my car for $12K when it’s worth around $24,000 in todays market. Now Im left with no car. I will never come to this place again. Sad part is, I would go out my way to actually come here because I lived closer to another Honda dealer.
We had a great experience with Henry his a great Person made our experience so much pleasant and less stressful. My husband and I would not have brought a car if Henry wouldn’t have help us . I am a person that is so much about customer service and how friendly people are and who I can feel they are honest and Henry gave us that and we totally brought the car because of him . We had gone to Toyota yesterday before going to Honda and honestly we did not buy the car with Toyota because their sales person did not have the quality that Henry did . Thank you so much Henry and Honda for your great customers service and for our vehicle .!!
I am from out of state and dropped my car off due to some complications on a trip to Disneyland. I paid $160 to just have it “looked at”. It was never looked at and sat there for 2 days. I told them it was urgent because I was from out of town and they called back and asked if it could stay through the weekend. That was after they had promised it was going to be inspected the first day. Pretty disappointed in this dealership.
Its was the worst service I ever have since 1996. I am old customer with Harden honda I bought two cars from that dealer i was satisfied with my cars and service. Last Saturday I went to change oil its took from 8;00 Am till 1:00 pm just to change oil and filter even with reservists even when I start to talk with store manager he refer me to talk with service manager when I talk with him he said the service guy advised me. When I start to talk they bring my car out in 15 minutes. This dealer used to be good.l paid $69.?? After 5 hours change oil and filter.
I had a great experience with the online sales team who made my buying experience efficient and hassle free. You cant beat Hardin prices - I tried but couldnt even come close anywhere in the LA area. I knew what I was looking for, so no haggling involved. Jorge and Carlos were excellent, thank you for my beautiful little Civic!
Literally did not expect anything but walked in to this dealer, prior test driving a Mazda 3 from the Mazda dealership, came out with a brand new 2018 Accord! Huge shootout to Francisco, great salesman no pressure sale literally just one of the sincere people you will meet here. I appreciate Hardin Honda and his awesome work thank you for really going above and beyond for your customers. Also Financing department Daniel, was also great really treats you like family. Would definitely recommend Hardin to all my friends and family now.
Likely the best car buying experience ever at any dealership (and this is coming from a former car salesman, albeit a very short career). From start to finish, this dealership was different from all the others, especially the salesman, EDGAR ROJAS. I came in an hour before closing on Saturday evening, and Edgar was the only salesman there. Edgar was apparently sick, and was getting ready to leave. But when the sales manager asked him to stay and help me, he did so with a very pleasant demeanor and professionalism. It took another couple of hours to complete the purchase, but Edgar stayed on until the end, and saw me off with a smile when I left. But what was most surprising was that he called me a few days later to make sure everything was okay. I cannot endorse this guy enough. The rest of the team there was just as pleasant and professional. The only thing I would warn against is that as with any other car dealerships, the finance manager will try to sell you a bunch of protection that either you dont really need or you can get much cheaper elsewhere before you finalize the deal. I got talked into buying an alarm system for $799 (talked down from $999) as where you could probably get an after market alarm with installation for around $350. There are definitely a few advantages to the dealer installed system (i.e. pre-installed, works with car keys, installed by Honda dealer, etc.), but I just gave in mainly because it was already so late and I was butt stinking tired. But in end, even the finance manager was a really nice guy and he also gave me a follow up call the following Monday, so, I cant complain. All in all, Hardin Honda was a great car buying experience. Highly recommended.
My overall experience was great the Hardin employees were friendly and helpful. Ray Cruz provided a comfortable and above average car buying experience A+. I was so pleased with his service and I recommended a family friend whom also purchase a car the following week. Marcos Ray & Eric all make an awesome team. Im sure Ill recommend more clients in the future.
Fixed our Honda Passport on a Saturday after the serpentine belt broke (even though they had to go to an aftermarket parts supplier for a nearly 20-year-old car). Also properly identified and repaired a busted armature for the alternator -- and didnt replace what wasnt broken! :) Showroom was very convincing too, and we got great service there as well!
Had no issues with my battery when my car went in. Car sat for 1 month, 2 weeks before I brought it in and started fine. Funny my battery goes bad while in there hands. They tried up-selling but I refused. Definitely feel that they were trying to get more money from me and when they couldnt up-sell me, they tried to find away. Crooked delaership in my eyes. Sad thing is they couldve received a lot of business from me due to the fact I just moved here and do a lot of driving for my company.
I received an offer to trade my paid 2016 Civic Ex (41k miles) for $ 19,500 in excellent conditions, so I went looking to trade I with the 2022 Civic Touring posted online at $29,800 but they were quoting all totaling price at $36,000 and much less-back to buy my Civic.So I walked out and went to Carvana.com and was able to sell my Civic for $20,450. With that I went to Tustin Acura (DCH) and was able to buy the 2022 IXL A-Spec for $32,000 and with waaayyyyy better customer service.I used to do business with Hardin Honda buying 3 cars, but I’m not coming back to buy from there anymore, I’m even removing my license plates framing from my other cars, they don’t deserve my free advertising.
Hi ,My experience with Hardin Honda was a bit of a challenge. Its a good honda dealer and are respectful towards their customers and also pay attention to their customers issue. I was facing problems with my Gap and Honda Care cancellation process earlier , but they took it seriously and resolved the same giving back my full refund.Thanks for the teams effort.

We saw a civic for 19,299k we saw it on autotrader AND their website, for the same price, same vin and everything, when it came to signing, they tried passing the car off as 22k luckily we saw it before signing, they claimed the online price was an error and there was nothing they could do, very disappointedHowever: i would like to add the salemen who helped us out was very friendly, and he him slef was honoring the online price. I believe though i may be mistaken his name was edThe following day i received a call, they were willing to honor the price, i will not remove my original review as i feel its important for people to stay aware. All in all, id say ed was cery friendly, was very helpful the next day, he went over the entire car and features, and how to setup android auto, overall for my first dealership experience id say it was good
Terrible over the phone customer service. Tell me what you are offering the car for and let me decide if its worth making the drive. Yes, I understand you have sold cars for X amount of years but get with the times. I hope Harding Honda starts looking into their hiring process and starts improving on customer experience. This is unacceptable in this day and age. Stay Away from this dealer.
Was my first time place here two weeks ago and would never wish to come back. I brought my car roughly about 10 minutes before they opened up and surely enough there were already about 10 cars ahead of me. Make sure you come extra early if you’re in a hurry! I waited for 3 hours and more for a simple oil change and break light fix. Workers seem almost careless about your questions and don’t care to clarify any misunderstandings, they won’t care if cars cut you in line 😐
Hardin Honda, I have mixed opinions on Honda. The car I drive is a 2019 Honda Accord, it’s not my car and was bought for a purpose.If I had test driven the accord I would have went with a Civic.Not to be too negative as I say not my car, the AC has the same issues of the 2008 Honda Civic we have.The reviews online certainly are correct on the “cars” characteristics. Now I am no expert, cars I’ve driven are Toyota different brands and BMW.In my opinion the Accord La issues lie in her electrics, not consistent in her operation.The car has so many features “all” electric and this I feel is like a rocket shop, has issues just can’t pinpoint.Granted so far any issues that have arisen or recalls Honda address, I’m kinda old fashioned if it ain’t broken then don’t fix and the cars I’ve used, things that I see as flawless or perfect to the consumer Honda put a spin on it and why silly issues have arisen.The 2008 Civic and I know a few owners who state same issues. If seeing the same issues arise 11 years later then, enough said.Service at Hardin Honda is awesome and the team do take care of you, just hope after warranty expires on certain functions that are known to be issues will be addressed.I know she’s a car and she is not perfect but to me, the cost, my family vehicle and the brand it’s 2021 the car has went so far away from where she should be, this confuses the buyer and the complaints can be off putting.I know it seems I’m being harsh, I had a similar experience with my Beloved Scion with Toyota and this made me leave the brand after years of loyalty.Nothing we buy is perfect, hey I’m not but with so much riding, no pun. My family and their safety is my number 1 priority.Hardin Honda Thank You for your service and for doing all you have to keep us rolling.
How shady can a Car dealer be? Just called them today and was told they arent allowed give prices over the phone and did I want to come in and see them. I wonder if these dealerships realize that the little profit theyre making from this Market is worth their reputation and client loyalty. Shady as all hell.....
We were in search of a 2021 Honda Accord and went to a dealer prior to Hardin Honda. Service was horrible at Downey Honda World and they were not willing to work with us. We received a call from Chuck Fisher, and he let us know the vehicle we were looking for had just arrived. We decided to take a look at it and it was exactly what I was looking for. Chuck was extremely patient with us and he went out of his way to make sure we received the best deal! The markups weren’t like the ones at Honda World and we see extremely happy with our experience. 100% would recommend Chuck to anyone who’s looking for a new vehicle! Thank you Chuck for my new ride!
Wanted to share the great experience I had this week buying a certified pre-owned civic here. Garrett and Jimmy provided excellent customer service from the moment we arrived. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase or with the level of service they gave. Highly recommend this location to anyone!
Tried to talk to a salesperson about whether or not they even have cars listed on their website and if the price on it was accurate and the sales guy basically told me that he’d only talk to me if I came in. I know there’s a shortage of cars but I’m not going into a car dealership only to be told that the prices are spiked well above MSRP.Doesn’t cost anything to be polite. The shortage of cars will end in the next year and this dealership will be on the bottom of my list.I always get treated better at Weir Canyon Honda and Norm Reeves Honda in Cerritos anyways.
Hardin Honda has the best customer service out of all the nearby Hondas. No additional add-ons to their cars to mark up thousands of dollars on unnecessary accessories. Very honest and straight forward.Their internet sales department did an amazing job to give us the best deal and we booked a same day appointment to get the car.Once we arrived we were greeted right away. Nikita helped us and was extremely helpful and patient with any questions and concerns. The numbers were exactly what was provided to us over the phone. She gave us a full run down of the car, made sure it was everything we wanted and we started the process.After 3.5 hours we walked away with a 2020 Accord Sport 1.5T at the price we want.If you want to buy a Honda I would say Hardin Honda is the way to go!Overall:Customer Service: 10/10
I WOULD AVOID THIS PLACE! so, we talked over phone, texts and emails with Mr. Chuck Fisher for a week regarding a 2015 Chrysler town and country they have in their lot and came to an agreement on 11999.00 . we drive half an hour from south OC to their store ,drive the car and decide to purchase it, we go in and he comes back with a sheet stating there is a software installed on this vehicle to locate it in case it gets stolen and it will cost us 1495.00 ! we asked him to uninstall it we dont need it but he says WE HAVE to buy the van with this feature...we obviously walked out..they wasted a good 2 hours of our time...be extra careful with this place.
Went here to negotiate for a lease, and wow did I regret it. They made it very clear there would be no negotiation. I either take their offer which is a complete rip-off or I walk. I left and will never look back.You think the 10,000 profit your asking for is worth losing this customer, and everyone I speak to, forever? Okay!
HORRIBLE! Just walked out of there! NO.ONE. NO ONE came up to us and ask us if we needed help! Our family and another two families were roaming around for a good 30min and nothing. We went inside and the sales guys saw us but no one came up to us. We decided to leave when two men came out of their office and we thought “oh they’re going to help us!” They didn’t. They actually opened the door for us to leave. Another family went inside to ask if they were selling cars or not and no one came out still! They were about to get in their car when someone finally came out. I know there’s a chip/car shortage but seriously.
We were assisted by Randy Reese. He did an excellent job with the process. He was very informative and Randy the Car Pimp helped us when the Wizard gave an awesome rate on our new Accord Sport....I 100Percent recommend Randy the Car Pimp Reese for anyone looking for a car.
I would definitely recommend this dealership. My husband and I were looking to buy a civic, but it had already sold by the time we got to the dealership. I’m not going to lie, we were ready to almost leave because we had gone to another Honda dealership at Rancho Santa Margarita where they tried to tag on a “security system” and “warranty” in the price without letting us know. However, Jimmy at Hardin Honda made our experience a great one! He showed us another civic similar to the one we were looking to and within the same price range. He was very honest and upfront with us about the price, financing and the add on options available. Needless to say, we walked out of there with a civic because of his supper customer service and honesty! THANK YOU Jimmy!! We truly appreciate you making our car buying experience a great one. Especially in 100 degree weather!
David was the representative who did not help us. Rather; he and another representative mocked my wife and I for asking to stay as close to the MSRP as possible. We wasted no time to leave and I advise anyone else to do the same. Times are tough, but thats not an excuse to make your customers feel like,...well,... ya know. Helpful Honda people, huh?
Amazing Service!!!I came in today to get an oil change and to have my AC fixed. Kari greeted me and asked what I needed. She recommended that I also have my brake fluid changed since it would be good for my car. Kari provided great customer service and helped make the whole process quick and easy. I am very happy with the service and help I received today. I will definitely be coming back in the future to have services performed on my car. I would like to thank Kari Knopf for the the amazing service she provided!
I am going to update my previous review when I was frustrated with the service I received. What is fair is fair. Hardin Honda Service center made it right, fixed my vehicle and were willing to work with me after my explaining the situation. Alfredo was the first gentleman to assist me and he called me Tuesday morning siting the conversation we had the previous Thursday when I first brought my car in. He really did provide excellent service and Mr. Rudy also was very gracious. I appreciate the actual listening that took place and will absolutely bring back my car for service when it needs it (hoping not too soon after this though). Thank you again————————————————————————I took my 2007 Honda Element in for diagnostic and multi point inspection. Last Thursday, 11/7/19 they told me all was good and they recalibrated the system to read a new MAP sensor I had replaced. When I drove the car away it seemed to run okay. The next day without my even reaching 10 miles, it shut down on me while making a right turn! It was really frightening! I took the vehicle in Sat. morning 11/9/19 and explained that I had just taken the car in for the same problem two days ago and the service guy,Rudy tried to tell me that if they need to run additional tests on my car to find out what is wrong with it they will call to let me know. This made me upset because they should have run the necessary tests to figure out what was wrong with it the first time I brought it in. I did not hear until close to 5pm on Sat. A technician letting me know he would keep the vehicle until Monday. It is now Monday 11/11/19 almost 4pm and I have not heard back from anybody. I called and they said they could see they have a promised time to return the vehicle to me at 5pm but no one had called to let me know. They still are supposedly running tests and to not have an answer for me but show a promise time for me to pick up the vehicle. Sounds to me like they have no intention of finding out what is wrong with the car or repairing it. I am very disappointed. The original gentleman Alfredo Mejia was very helpful and courteous. This other guy Rudy from the get go was trying to get me to pay additional money for testing they should have done the first time I took my car in! I don’t think it unreasonable to expect to not have to pay for the same service back to back because it wasn’t taken care of the first time. I understand why people are so hesitant to deal with dealership service centers. My experience has not been a good one and I don’t think I will be returning here. It is too bad because I was thinking of purchasing another Honda and thisis where I purchased my Element to begin with.Update to my just this instant review. I just received a call from the service center and they “think “ they have found the problem. It will be an additional cost and the amount I already paid (and previously told would be applied toward the repair cost) but I approved the repair. I will again post an update.
Service in the express line was fast and easy. I only had to wait about half an hour for my complimentary oil change, and even though they couldn’t give me a car wash that day, they said I could come back anytime during the week to get one. I was also offered water and coffee while waiting in the lounge area and was extremely thankful that my car was exactly in the same condition when I got back - clean and nothing stolen (which really gives me a lot of anxiety at car dealerships nowadays). My service writer was friendly as well. Would definitely come back!
Staff is very nice and respectful. When I came in for an oil change they alerted me of a recall notice and they offered to fix it right there and then. The car was finished BEFORE the time they had guaranteed, which was awesome. While I waited, I enjoyed the TV and free coffee in the clean lounge while my daughter played in the toy section they have. I had a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend!!!
I loved that they were very nice and accommodating especially during a busy weekend! We visited during Memorial Day Weekend to look for a family sized car for our growing family and was happy we got time to do two test drives and was able to be given the time and space to make our decisions. They were accommodating and friendly. I didn’t feel rushed or pressured to buy; and was able to have time to be sure about my purchase. Overall I am very happy with my car and my experience. It was a great first time car buying experience!
Found the car I had been looking for and dreaming of on their site. Emailed them several days prior to going in. Received an email almost immediately and a phone call shortly after their opening. When I arrived, Alex was waiting for me and had the car ready to look at. We negotiated for about 10-15 minutes and worked a deal. It was later on. Sunday night. I wasnt expecting to leave with the car that night but he pulled it off.Alex was AMAZING!The quality of cars they have is unbeatable. I will definitely shop with them again in the future. Thank you for making buying my dream car such a great experience.
I literally called and worked with 15 dealerships to when purchasing our Honda CR-V. My wife and I found the best price here at Hardin Honda and their customer service was stellar. Jorge Sanchez was exemplar sales consultant. From my original inquiry on the car to the even past the sale he demonstrated attention to detail. When my wife and I arrived to see the car it was pre-washed, pulled up, and ready to test drive--something no other dealership has done! Since the price was well below every other dealership we knew we were getting the best deal and negotiating was very minimal. Papers were ready to sign and while we were signing the car was detailed again! As a bonus, we went during the Labor Day Sales event and there was coffee and donuts in the back and even IN-N-Out for lunch. There were no gimmicks, silly custom T-Shirts worn, or even signs posted. There was just good service! Best car buying experiencing my wife and I have had!
The upside is that I got a discount on my oil change and they washed my car, so they saved me a bit of money there. The downside is I waited longer than I should have because they never actually notified me that my car was done. It would be nice to get a notification when my car is ready to pick up.I normally have superior customer service when I bring my car here. This particular service associate wasnt super friendly, but he was fine. As I mentioned, most of the time the service is very nice.
Excellent parts department and parts PRICES are similar to aftermarket prices, but for REAL HONDA PARTS ! That usually says a lot about the dealership.I virtually never buy aftermarket parts for our Honda now. Why would I when Hardin shop on-line and pick-up same day Honda parts are within a few bucks?Hardin HONDA is in a league by itself in Parts and Service and attitudeIll even definitely check out their used cars next time we buy one. Thats really an amazing thing for me to say...
I got my car serviced today at Hardin Honda. Chris was my service Advisor. As soon as I pulled up, he was out there right away and wrote up my car for service. He is extremely nice and knowledgeable. He explained everything to me. My car got finished in a timely manner. Hardin Honda is a great place to get your car serviced Great service, reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend them. I always have a great experience will the service reps. Ray Cruz was great on my past visits and most recently had a great experience with Andrew Corona. My Honda was in early for an oil change and inspection and about an hour later I was called letting me know it was ready. Even with the other issues my car was having, I was given the quotes and when I told him that Id be back to take care of the issues he wasnt pushy or did anything to make me feel pressure. My 2012 Honda and the team at Hardin Honda has been really good to me. Im very thankful
Got my new CRV from Hardin Honda. The pricing is relatively straightforward in comparing to other dealers. Alex was my sales rep and he was as good as you can get from a car sales person, from my own experiences at least. He was patient, knowledgeable, courteous and respectful. My wife and I truly appreciated for his service and help in explaining the vehicle and features. He is very detail-oriented. The finance lady manager - Same was as good also; very patient and very detailed. She answered all the questions we had. We are pleased with her also.This is a dealership that we would definitely recommend to our friends, and will definitely go back to talk to Alex/Sam again, if we have future needs.
Quite the opposite of my recent experience at another local Honda dealership. The service department people were nice, friendly, and acted like they actually want my business - even though I was just there for safety-recall work. Really quite a breath of fresh air. The work came back right the first time, and all the paperwork was in order. Im impressed.
The salesman who helped me was Ray was awesome and very patient with me during my car purchase. Carlos was phenomenal in assisting me with all financing. It was quick, informative and felt like they addressed the issue at hand with the best of their ability. The process was very easy and they provided me a shuttle to work. I really like the text updates. My car was ready quite early in the day, pick up process was a breeze. Rudy and The staff at service is really great and welcoming.
I had the pleasure of being assisted by Eduardo Calletano today and I can not say enough about this place. From the time we arrived we had expert service, patient, and professionalism. Eduardo went above and beyond to get us the best deal on the car I had my eyes set on. All of the staff were so amazing and accommodating. I dont usually like to post a negative feedback, but this experience was quite disappointing. I am sorry I have to leave this negative feedback here. I dont feel that Hardin Honda is feeling responsible at all for the time, and money a potential customer spends and the effort s/he makes to come for an appointment to the branch.Let me tell you the story:They posted a promotion on their website, which had a claim offer button. Upon pressing that and filling the information, multiple calls from the dealer came to my phone. They asked me to come tomorrow as the deals would be over after that and we booked the appointment. I told the person that my distance is far and I would only come if you have the deal. I had to rent the car for 50 bucks, put the effort to drive to Anaheim for an hour or so and to my surprise the person who I set the appointment with was not there. Another sales person told me the deal is already over. They were trying to give me other quote for the leasing option I wanted but all of them were non-sense and not comparable at all to what I was looking for and coming for.My advice to you: Dont believe them when they say; come to the branch to talk about the deal. They post an offer on their website and they wont remove it even after the offer does not exist when you go to the branch. You can probably check out to see some of the unavailable offers are still there.
Went in for a quick oil change, and it took them 1 hour 30min, even though they a gave me a recipet stating it would be PROMISED done in 1 hour 20min from the time I arrived. Even stating it in BOLDED letters PROMISED! Expecting them to hold themselves accountable i brought it up when my car was ready and they tech Juan, laughed and dismissed the promise. If they can not keep their word when its written on paper, I can only imagine the integrity of their work is lacking as well. Not to mention another customer arrived after me for an oil change and left 15-20min before I even got my car...

Andreas, the salesman was fantastic. He made the whole process from beginning to end easy. He worked with me on price and financing and once all was finished, he offered to drive my car to my home -which I did not expect. Eric, the manager did not put any high pressure on me to purchase and was very upfront and honest with all my questions as well as worked out an suitable payment plan to fit my need. Daniel, in financing moved the process through quickly and efficiently and extended the courtesy of contacting him directly to arrange for my alarm system to be done the next day within a 30 minute time frame. I found the entire staff who worked with me to be accommodating, friendly and professional! Because of all of this and because I had previously bought a car through Hardin, I will continue to make Hardin my dealer of choice.
I was very appreciative of the help I got from Naeil Droubi, whose team worked hard to complete my car maintenance in a timely manner. In addition, it was a great booking experience when I first made the appointment online (how cool is that?!) and was able to call in to schedule it for even earlier. And, of course, my car works GREAT! The AC works better than it has in years thanks to the work this team did. Note: If you have a time constraint or need your car back that day and have a large maintenance issue like the AC issues I did, be sure to bring the car in first thing in the morning. The team worked to make sure I got my car back, but it was uncomfortably close. Final Note: Ive used this location for years and have always been met with the friendliest service! I highly recommend.
We had a really good time at this dealership! Our salesman Alex Lamarche was very well mannered, a professional, helpful, and very understanding. He did his utmost best to get us a deal within our needs. We’re not exaggerating when I say he had great manners. He is the most respectable car salesman we’ve come across. He doesn’t lie, or do any of the things a typical car salesman is known to do. Honestly, management should get this guy promoted and have him teach other salesman customer relations skills. Alex was a man of his word.Additionally, Carlos the finance manager made the financing process a breeze and easy to understand. MF charged me for a Replace air filter with factory Honda air filter and toss away the one i bought from AUTOZone..

I have had good experience while shopping for used car at Hardin Honda. I had to buy a certified Honda Accord and I got a good deal. There were no discounts but they let us use our own financing and also offered to replace the old battery with a brand new one. Car has been trouble free. So overall a good experience. I will update my review after servicing my Honda Civic at this place.
Juan makes me feels very welcome every time I come here. He is such a professional doing his job, the guys inside , they are super fast and everyone is with a smile on their faces. My car took less that the approximate time they told , always good get done with car maintenance in less that a hour. I always come back here.

Malvina was very courteous and friendly. She was knowledgeable of the vehicle I wanted to buy and answered all of my questions in regards to the vehicle and buying process. Most of all the transaction did not take as long as I expected and also there was no sales pressure to buy warranties or other services I didnt care for. This is my 12th Honda purchase since my first Honda purchase in 1987 and this was probably the most pleasant car buying experience I had. I plan on coming back in April 2019 to buy my wife a new 2019 CR-V and when I do I am going to ask for Malvina to help me.As I said in my last review, I was going to come back and get my wife a new Honda Cr-V and I did just that last Friday. This is Honda # 13 for me since 1987. It was the best deal around and they had exactly the exterior and interior color combination I wanted. The salespeople are so courteous and friendly. There is no pressure to buy any service or extras on the vehicle and most of all the process is fast. It took a total of 80 minutes to get in and out of the dealership. I highly recommend Hardin Honda to anyone looking for a great deal on a new Honda car.
We just want to give a huge shout out to all of the staff at Hardin Honda. Thank you does not begin to show just how appreciative we are with the excellent and expedient service that we received. On August 21,2017 we arrived in Anaheim after driving our Honda Pilot from British Columbia, Canada. We started to experience car trouble while on the I-5 approx 10 minutes from arriving at our hotel. We contacted Hardin Honda once we checked into our hotel and they recommended a great tow company to get our vehicle to them for repairs. Once they received our vehicle we were assured that we would hear from them by noon the next day. We were extremely surprised to hear from the dealership by 10am the next day informing us that our vehicle was repaired and ready to go! We were in a very desperate situation and Hardin Honda took care of us respectfully and for this reason I would recommend them to anyone. If only we lived closer, they would be my dealership of choice to deal with. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Needed to have a full appraisal on my trade in and numbers ran on the entire deal in order to test drive a used Civic Type R. Since they knew this was the process for this particular vehicle I would have liked to know before making the trip out so I wouldnt have to wait at the dealership.Additionally I was told that they markup the price of Civic Type Rs here by about $4,000 to $6,000. Guess the car is worth whatever someone will pay but car stealerships aint cool folks.Take your business elsewhere if you can.
BAIT DEALER. NO CONSIDERATION FOR CLIENTS!! BEWARE AND DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.I called right before I left to come to this dealer. Like right in the car about to head out to Hardin, I called for a vehicle they have listed and they said yes its in stock and come in. Ok sure, omw. I arrived and car isnt there. It was slightly less then one hour after I called since I came from a distance away.Like seriously? You couldnt tell me a sale was in progress or anything? Also when we arrived, we were standing around for some moments before a worker, not even a sales rep, asked us for help. I loved that I was greeted at the front by a host and I didnt have to feel like I was being fought for by any sales people, she introduced me to Raul. I could not be happier with my experience with Raul M., He was very patient, willing to help me find an car that meets my needs and budget! It is really refreshing to find people like Raul who are able to come to a job they enjoy and who are well informed! My needs were always put first and even when he was waiting while I was meeting with Carlos the business manager (who was very helpful and professional) he never complained or rushed the process! I love my new car and will refer everyone I know! Chen the sales manager was also there and expressed that if I ever need anything to come back or give them a call and even told me some goodies they have for their customers! This place is terrible. I had the worst experience here. Do not come to this dealership! They are not Honda helpers. They tried their hardest to get me the worst deal possible. They did not let me leave. They tried anything to stop me. The seven mangers tried to stop every time. They even block my car door and path way so I could not drive away. I had to call the police so I could leave this place. I still got my Honda Accord at another location but I’ll never come here again. I will tell everyone how horrible of place this is. Never got an apology and got nothing but lies from this place.
DO NOT BUY A CAR AT THIS DEALERSHIP! I went over a week ago to purchase a used car they tried to offer us a 7% interest rate. Which is ridiculous! I call back a week later with my own financing from my bank BOA with a 3% interest rate. They preceded to tell me they can’t sell me the car because they don’t use outside financing on used car. Which again is Lie! They just won’t be making money on the financing so they don’t want to sell me the car.I personally or have helped 12 of my friends and family purchase new and used cars at Hardin Honda over the past 6 years. Giving them a TON or business and this is how they treat their loyal customers.Not only that the sales manager Jimmy was completely rude, disrespectful, arrogant and condescending. People like Jimmy are why used car salesmen get a horrible reputation.With that I will never go back to Hardin Honda and will take all my business elsewhere and I advise you to also. If this is how they treat people.

I was in communication with Alex the day prior to my purchase and based on my experience I was confident that I was going to purchase my car at that location. Alex helped me locate exactly what I wanted and Iman assisted me through the purchase process. They maid the entire process painless and I was out of there in a couple of hours. We had such a great experience with Lawrence, he really was helpful and made our time there easy. He didnt ever make us feel rushed and was so helpful and available, even though it was a busy day. We were worried about purchasing our car, but he made it a great experience. We also enjoyed working with Sam, she was also helpful and made sure all of our questions were answered.
I went in on Saturday Memorial Day weekend looking for a used Honda Pilot. I informed them I was looking for a good deal, as anyone would. They brought me inside, we worked some numbers but unfortunately the numbers didnt fit.Scott the sales manager gave me a courtesy call the next day, but unfortunately I was unable to go in (even though they had an In n Out Truck). I went to a dealership down the road on Monday and was offered a pretty good deal on a 2014 Pilot, I called Scott informing him about the deal that I received and he promised me he could beat it.I went in and after some negotiating we came to a great price. Unfortunately, I was a bit hesitant and walked away. I called the next day to see if I could still get the deal but unfortunately the deal had ended.I am rating them because he was very courteous, friendly and professional. No gimmicks, he understood my situation and did his best as a businessman to meet somewhere where we both were satisfied. There are a lot of dealerships that are liars and sleazeballs. If you want an honest number, ask for Scott.
Best honda service department! I drive several miles & do oil change about 3-4 times a yr. Been to other dealerships closer to home , but this place is worth it. Great customer service, great job on your vehicle & nice area to wait. Perks car wash, coffee/tea,popcorn free . I believe Jose helped me today. He was amazing.

10/19/2013: Today, I went back to Hardin Honda today to lease a new 2013 Civic EX after I took my friend there 2 weeks ago to lease a brand new 2013 CRV. I was a little disappointed due to the fact that the lease went up on the ad $30 more than 2 weeks ago add. However, Scott the Manager explained to me that this is not controlled by their dealer but by Honda. This is totally understood and still, they have the best deal in California. Scott quickly match my trade in with CAR MAX and went out of his way to give me a couple of dollars discount a month from the ad price. To me, Scott, Eric, Louis (all the managers) and Ed (the salesman) and Trisha, the Finance Manager did go out of their way to please the customer and to give me a best deal that they could. I have no complaint and am not hesitated to recommend this dealer to anyone. Dont take my words for it, do the research on price, then give them a visit. You will experience it yourself.Todays experience makes me raise this dealership from a 4.5 to a solid 5. Everyone, from top to bottom, goes out of their way to make the customer happy.10/7/2013 I had some issue with others employees before at this dealer but Scott, the sales manager quickly fixed the issue and gave me a tremendous deal with very positive experience. Went to test drive a new 2018 Honda Accord at Hardin and came home with it that night! I am very happy with my decision to drive up all the way up to Hardin Honda that night after going to countless dealers weeks prior that didnt give me a good enough offer. I was helped by Richard & Carlos during my visit and purchasing of the Accord. Both of them were kind and respectful to my needs and wants. Richard even spent an hour with me going back and forth on what color I wanted. They went the extra mile for me and got me a fantastic deal!!!! I am so happy I went into Hardin Honda that night! Tammy and Jennica were highly professional during the entire sales process from dozens of emails in advance to the in-person interaction when we arrived. They were friendly and were prepared for us when we arrived for our appointment to purchase the vehicle. Everyone at the dealership seemed focused on making our experience as positive as possible. Iman was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient during the financial part of the process. Finally, Tammy was extremely thorough in setting up and explaining the safety and other features of the vehicle. All in all we had a very positive experience.
My wife and I came to this dealership for a vehicle we saw online at a great price. After test driving two vehicles and deciding on the one we wanted we went to the negotiating table. I was told if I wanted this price I would have to buy the vehicle and finance through their finance company which was giving me according to the finance officer an apr .8 higher than my approved loan through my bank. This was not stated on the online price. This is the second time I have come here and have dealt with this kind of shady salesman tactics. Dont get me wrong my sales person was amazing and felt bad for him. This dealer has little if no integrity, stay away.
Their service center is a huge rip off. I would give them 0 stars if I could. First, they did not respect the appointment time that I had made for service. Second, they told me my car was ready, then when I got there, told me it was not ready. Third, they performed services that I did not consent to, and then charged me for it. I had specifically asked for the basic services package and spark plug replacement, they added on the valve adjustment without my consent or knowledge after I had told them specifically not to do 100,000 mile maintenance at this time. Extremely disappointed. Do not take your car here. I would also like to point out that they probably did not explain services clearly to me because I am female. I have had this issue more than once at Honda service centers, and have no reason to believe this was any different.
I was sent over here by another Honda dealership who was unable to fix an issue with my car. After 5 failed attempts and 6 months of back and forth they sent me over to Hardin who diagnosed and fixed the issue the same day. 100% would return for my next major service. Everyone I interacted with from start to finish was super helpful and kind. The main guy that I spoke to was Paul and he was great!
Recently, I had been having quite a few issues with my 2009 Honda Accord. My car would lag to turn on sometimes. Then all of a sudden, my car did not want to go past 30 mph after I had been running a few errands after work . My check engine, and VSA lights came on. I couldnt use my car for a few days.I ultimately made an appointment with the Hardin Honda service department, and had my car towed there. I was told that the issue was a faulty aftermarket starter that needed to be replaced.The service department gave me a $875 estimate to have the starter replaced with a re-manufactured one. I was a little shocked at the price but the service rep reassured me that the starter was under a three year or 36,000 mile warranty, and that the only issue was the starter.So, I asked if I could have a small discount and he agreed, which I am very thankful for. I was luckily given a 10% discount before agreeing to have the starter replaced.When I came in to pick up my car, the process was fast and easy. I liked that the parts and service workers were courteous, organized, and seemed satisfactorily knowledgeable in the work that was done on my car.It has been a day after the starter was replaced, and I noticed that my car is not as shaky as it was before. When I turn the ignition, my car turns on faster than it did before. Overall, I am relieved and happy that I can drive my car again.

Ray was a fantastic salesman, very friendly and not pushy. They got me approved at a better rate than my credit union did, and everything was very transparent and upfront, no shady stuff like at other dealerships. I would say ask for Ray, he’ll take care of you. Would buy from again!
We agreed on pricing the day after a test drive, I drove to the dealership, gave them my drivers license, insurance card, and they ran my credit. After a 2.5 hour wait, assistant manager said they can’t do the deal. He claimed they made a mistake and offered me a higher payment or a lesser quality vehicle. Felt like a bait and switch. I opened a case with Honda corporate. Giving them an extra star after I spoke with the sales manager and he apologized and assured me that he’d use this as a training opportunity for his sales team.
Kristoff was such a great help. He was thorough in explain the car features and asking me what I was looking for. He truly went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase and got me the best deal. They hide behind the phrase, “...it’s our policy...” They “require” certain services that jump the price over 1k. Ran a credit check without approval. My husband and I purchased two cars here. Great service! We were given space and time to look around to find what we wanted and make decisions on the cars we bought. Didnt feel like a guppy in a shark tank. Given AMAZING deals on our cars considering we paid in full (they make the money on financing). Brought my car in for an oil change on a Friday afternoon. It was as if they were trying to talk me OUT of getting my car serviced, so they could finish up their day. First, I was told it would be at least an hour and a half wait. Then, I was told I dont really need an oil change right now (despite being hundreds of miles over my recommended mileage for my next change). Horrible way to make the customer feel that RELIABLE service is being provided. I would HIGHLY recommend using the Express Service, however. I have never had an issue and the customer service Darin provides there is exceptional every time!
I had a very professional and positive experience with Hardin Honda in December 2014 when walked to their dealership for an Accord sedans lease. A young sales person Arthur Velasquez helped me very professionally to lease a Honda Accord at the best price. He treated me like he is not a sales person but a friend of mine which made me impressed of his services. He followed up with me after the lease multiple times to make sure that I am 100% satisfied with their services or have any questions for him regarding my purchase from them. I was impressed that their managers are nice and down to earth with the customers too. Definitely, my next Honda car will be leased or bought from this dealership owned by Hardin.
I dont feel that Hardin Honda is feeling responsible at customers once they sold car. I am Very disappointed with my experience.My wife, my friend and I came to this dealership to see a Pre-owned SUV After test driving two vehicles, Ed the salesperson convinced us to look for new CRV.After initial paper work, after few discussions we went to the negotiating table. I was told I am ok to make a deal if it’s 25K . During the negotiation Ed went to managers room for price confirmation. He finally said the price is 25K and agreed to get the auto loan from my bank .He congratulated us and asked us to wait before we called by finance.After 45 minutes, Mark Dulan the finance manager took us to his office and greeted us and asked us are you buying the CRV for 25,000. We said yes.He then went throw documentation and showed us all other optional coverage which we declined . Me and my wife signed the documents on Ipad. the whole process took another 45 minutes. By this time we are completely exhausted as we didn’t have lunch and long wait times .After all paper work he walked us to front desk and he told he will call Ed. After I came out from the office was busy adding new car to insurance as I don’t want take any risk. After another hour so the car has been handover to us. I dropped my friend and forgot the sale document in my friends back pack.I collected the sales document on Monday evening as I had appointment on bank on next morning. While going through the sales document I observed the price was mentioned 25,500.I thought it would be a price mistake and they can adjust it. As it was late on Monday,I called Mr Mark on Tuesday morning and explained him about the price difference. He said he will confirm with Ed and call back. I didn’t receive any response and called evening and he didn’t respond. On Next morning I called him, he told us Ed is off and will check with him and call back but didn’t receive any response. On Thursday morning I called Mark as he is not in to office yet, I called. Finally I am able to speak with Ed and I explained him and he told he will check with Mark and give a call.Around 3 PM Ed call me and told he didnt remember the exact price and asked me to speak with his manager Mr Shawn. I told him I will visit him at dealership.Me and My wife went and asked about Ed, the front desk person asked us to wait while they call Ed. While we were waiting we saw Ed came and went to manager office and Mark also joined. After 10 minutes Shawn the manager came to meet us. No Ed or Mark with him. He asked us to come to next cabin to talk. We explained him exactly what happened.One can easily say he is not paying attention to us. He said he never approved for 25K and the price is 25,500. We were shocked. We tried to explain him exactly what happened at negotiation table and asked him if Ed can get the paper on which he worked on the prices. He said we will write lot on paper but you have signed the agreement for the price. I told him, yes I will admit it’s my fault not to paying attention while signing the document and we believed the price would be the same what they offered. I told him mistakes do happens on either side.Requested him if it’s not possible to return the money, let’s work on any other coverage which we declined on discounted price. He told very rudely they already offered full tank of gas for free and nothing to offer any free services. He was really rude and arrogant, he humiliated us like we are liars. We just walked out from the dealership and felt really bad about how he treated us.On same day I sent email to the owners and never received any response. Waited for a week and responded to the surveys received, again no response. So finally decided to leave review here.If I would have catches the price difference before I sign they would have apologized and corrected but once deal done they dont care about the customers. Be careful while signing.
Leased my first car off the lot and I can say a lot of mistakes were made and am here to share my 12k life lesson.My Deal:2018 Honda Civic LX2k down $392 monthly(No additional dealership amenities or services)Mind you even without tier 1 credit you can easily find yourself in a entry level luxury car for the rate i got. Please do your research and be diligent. These people with preach family and still try to screw you at every corner. Im not here to put my mistakes on someone else (hence im not sharing the sales persons identity and floor manager, who was a real character), but would rather like to share my unpleasant experience in hopes that somebody else can learn and benefit from this.
I just purchased my Honda Accord Sports here today and I must have checked around most of the dealers within 200 miles. Hardin Honda were able to get me the best price around and they did not use the bait and switch tactic at all that some dealers used on me and wasted both our times. Sargon was awesome. He was very professional, patient, and pleasant to work with. Sargon was true to his word all the way and there was no funny business with add ons and pricing once we had agree on an out the door numbers. He did not push us to purchase any extras and took care of all our needs. So far, Im happy and will definitely recommend friends and family to go here if they can continue to provide the same experience I had. After buying or leasing 9 cars at Hardin Honda, I was happy to hear that Chen Fan was now the Sales Manager. He is very responsible and speaks clearly and efficiently. Marcus Jenkins, the Sales Person also did an excellent job and was so helpful in many areas and knowledgeable. I was equally impressed by the skills, knowledge and efficiency of Carlos Pozos the Business Manager. Overall, it was a very fast and smooth process.
They charge more for maintenance compare to other Honda service center and their service is not as good as other location. I got my vehicle inspection checklist without any explanation of the condition of my vehicle and no free car wash. I would recommended go to AutoNation Honda. They got better price and much better customer service.
Professional with sincerity. Paying due respect to woman. Very friendly and easy to talk to without a poker face or playing tricks with the customers. We had a very pleasant experience that would allow us to make an easy and quick decision to take the car home on the same day. Indeed, the entire process from the test drive, purchasing, to getting financial matters done was so smooth and efficient, just a matter of 2-3 hours. Unbelievable!
I bought my used Honda Accord on 1/31/19 and I absolutely recommend Hardin Honda of Anaheim. I’m not only happy with the quality of the vehicle and the upgrading on tires, brakes, rims, oil change, etc..., but the great professionalism shown by all staff members. Especially Daniel Carmolinga I told him I did not want a high monthly payment and he satisfied my needs. He never pressured me to buy the vehicle and he was willing to wait until I got off work to finish all the paper work. So I drove home in my new/used certified vehicle and honestly will not go any where else to buy another vehicle.
I bought my first brand new car Honda Accord 2020 at Hardin Honda and the service was exceptional thanks to the amazing salesman Chris Mikuta.I walked in around 7pm not having a clue what I wanted if I liked either a brand new car or used car? Type? Model? Year? Color? Budget? Chris was so friendly, patient and unthusiastic showing me mostly all cars until I liked under such a freezing night and acknowledging all good information. We came to an end for the car I really liked and the store accepted our offer and about to sign all paperworks to close the deal and get the car but turned out I misunderstood some information he gave me at the beginning and 3 hours there were a waste. It couldnt work with the deal as I misunderstood.The store was supposed to close long time before, and we left like we first came in. ZERO decision for what we wanted. I felt extremely bad for Chris since he worked so hard and was so patient with us and he was happy to about to close the deal with us but we wasted a whole night from our misunderstanding. I thought Chris would be so mad at us from wasting his time but instead he was even more patient, enthusiactic and happy with me. I promised to come back the next day.The next day, I came in not knowing what I wanted like a brand new customer again since I misunderstood him from the beginning of yesterday and I didnt want that deal. Although I wasted time, Chris was super patient and enthusiastic again with me like nothing happened yesterday. He showed me all new and used cars he had in details. Answered all questions I had and always let me test drive whichever I wanted. Eventually, it took me 3 days to decide to buy the car and Chris would go back and forth to his boss to get us the best deal. I really do appreciate his intergrity and hardwork.On our payment day, we had troubles with our bank and had to get there in person for payment. It was on Saturday and all banks would be closed in 20mins. Chris would drive me and my family in fast and furious style with 4 different GPSs on to make sure we made it which we did thanks to awesome Chris! Later on, when were back to the store, my dad forgot his important stuff at the bank and again Chris drove him back and made sure we got our stuff.Chris Mikuta is such an incredible salesman of intergrity! Hes friendly, kind, enthusiastic, honest, caring, sweet and SUPER x10000000 times patient! (I wonder if Chris does yoga or meditation? lol The most patient salesman Ive met to be honest) He wouldnt use tricks to force you to buy as what typical salesman usually does. Instead, he would ask all questions what you like, give you information and let you BE the one deciding until whenever youre ready with patience and be there whenever you need. Me and my family felt very comfortable, happy and satisfied with a whole service he brought. And thanks to him, I picked the dream car I love.Please make sure to ask for Chris Mikuta when you look for a car especially when you dont do research homework like me :) Im sure youll love him. Such a sweet and nice man!P/s: I couldnt do survey for Chris because my email was typo and couldnt be fixed in the system. Zach and Jimmy didn’t hassle me or try to get more money. They came out immediately with a competitive price and took care of me to get the sale. They stayed late to get the sale completed because I was driving from LA to get the car and I appreciated that.Would recommend working with them to anyone.
Your sales team did great job of bringing a customer , explaining about all the features of the car , test driving and negotiating the price of the car . Appreciate Scot and Jorge from Internet Sales. Finance discussed about various service plans and then important one about the security system . This option is not explained properly and the customers are forced to take decision on the fly . The point is that this is not even Honda accessory or the Honda product , but this is third party product. I came to know about this a day after signing the contract/taking the delivery of the car . These options are non-cancellable options . I agree that this is mistake on my part of not understanding or not reading the documents in short time when all these were explained while signing the contract. When I talk to different staff next day , I understood that this third party security system and honestly i understood about this only on next day when I met other finance team member. Since this is third party product , I do not want to activate the security system in my car . Luckily the security system was not activated when the car was delivered to me . Finance team member told that he can remove the security system , but these will stay in the contract . I am still thinking to remove this feature from the car , this being the third party product . I am planning to discuss about this with Honda .
Buying my new car at Hardin Honda was the greatest car buying experience Ive had. They gave me what I asked for with very little haggling and finance also did a great job of getting me in and out. Thank you to Salesman John and staff for the excellent service I received. I would definitely recommend Hardin Honda!
Taryn was quick to respond to my email inquiry and was able to match the price I received from another dealer. The difference was Hardin does not add a bunch of dealer added accessories to boost their profits. The other dealer did and concealed it until I arrived at their showroom. Taryn says Hardin does not do that and she was very transparent. We sent an email at breakfast about 11 AM and we drove off the lot at 1:30 PM with our new Ridgeline as we had a party to get to. Super fast with Taryn and the finance guy. We didnt have time to test drive the vehicle, but we had already driven one at the auto show and at the other dealership, so we knew what we were getting.
Both David Do (sales rep.) and Carlos Pozos (Financial mgr.) were amazing, it has been our ONLY good experience ever at a dealer. Both of them very friendly and kind, no hassle, the advertised price was honored, no hidden costs at all. It is great to have such a wonderful staff. Had the best experience buying a car from Matthew Rodriguez. I normally avoid dealerships due to all the haggling and hidden pricing, fees, irrational dealer add on costs, etc... But thought i give it a shot this time. Been shopping for a particular car for 2 years on/off. very keen on the pricing of what i wanted. When i first contacted Matthew, they were honest enough to tell me they cannot meet me at the price I was asking for. But then 1.5 months later, i asked him again, if prices have come down any. He says YES, he should be able to meet me at my target price. i was a bit weary because they could not give me actual OTD price in the email until i came down there. Being a single dad with disabled parents at home, going down to any dealer and waste hours to just haggle and not reach an agreement is not an option. But Matthew seem honest enough. So I went anyways. Honestly, I was kind of expecting some crazy fees, taxes, etc... to jack up price beyond my target budget. But once he showed me my OTD price, i was shocked it was actually below my target price. THATS HONESTY!!! most dealerships knowing my target price would of added on extra fees etc.. just to make a few more $$. but they honestly just calculated the price legitely without inflated fees, etc... Thank you Matthew!! and the trunk tonneau was broken and he also took care of that under warranty. thank you hardin honda for a honest pricing, and service.
The staff, specifically Angel and Iman, were so helpful and friendly. They walked me through the process and never made me feel pressured into any decisions. They were very open to any questions I had. We had visited other Honda dealers, but came back to Hardin because they were the friendliest and most professional. My parents had purchased their vehicle from Angel at Hardin and recommended him to me, and I will be doing the same.
Finalize your financing before you leave. I was pre-approved by my credit union before I went to purchase and was going to do so through CUDL. When I was finalizing the paperwork, the finance manager said the system was not responding but that he would put it through in the next few days. Even after an extensive conversation about interest rates and which rate/repayment timeframe I wanted, it turned out that he put in the application for 1 year longer and nearly double the interest rate I knew I was approved for and had discussed with him. Turns out that I now need to refinance the loan through my credit union to get the rate I wanted resulting in another inquiry on my record but money saved long term.Other than this issue with the finance department, my experience with the dealership was fantastic. They honored the price we discussed without trying to sneak in any add-ons and the customer service of the sales team was great - they even drove me to return my rental so I wouldnt have to Uber back to pick up my new car.
Went to look at some vehicles Looked and test drive. Told sales rep thank you. He brought out manager. Explained to manager just looking. Manager states let me give you some figures, no appraisal on my car plus just 10 minutes of your time. Well that was a big lie. I walked out and another manger runs out to convince me to give him the opportunity to give me an offer supposedly I shouldnt not pass up. Well I drove away.
We recently purchased a Civic Si from this dealership and were very pleased with the service from our salesman Sargon. He did not push or force us to make a decision right on the spot and was willing to work with us until we were satisfied with the price. Best customer service was from Sargon, other than that great place to look for a Honda.
I would give zero stars but there isnt an option! This place gives Honda a bad reputation. I purchased a brand new 2019 Honda Odyssey and within a week we had an issue with the air conditioning blowing hot air in 115 degrees weather. We werent in the area of where we purchased it so we found the nearest dealership (here) and they were very rude. The girl at the reception desk was very rude and told us they would not look at it because it wasnt purchased at their dealership. Nobody took the time to try to help us with this matter at all! Another customer had the same issue driving all the way from Texas and was told the same thing. Very inconsiderate! Also, the other customer had a newborn in the car, was not offered water or anything. Do not give them your business. Horrible representation of Honda. I am very disappointed. They are so quick to try to sell you a car and wont take no for an answer but when you need their help, they dont even give you a minute of their time.
Got my car here after shopping around for options. ChimDee is really helpful and great when youre looking for the right car and model. Lauren at finance was awesome and made the latter process after finishing up the paperwork easy and straightforward. I received a call from both of them a day after I got the car as well as a handwritten note from the salesman. Small things like this do go a long way in customer satisfaction and I think theyre doing a pretty good job at it.Really happy with the car I got here so far too! Their responses have been prompt and helpful when I did have questions.
I normally dont do reviews.. But to help you save time and dealer trickery..If youre in the market to buy a car... Make sure this is the last place you step foot in or at all. Plenty of other dealera to take your business to..The sales person here was kind enough, but very deceitful from the getgo and I wont even get into the finance guy. Let just say, hell try to milk you for some add-ons. I wont mention names for the sake of the sales persons job.Youve been warned..STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE !!How do you get a 19k car to run up to 30k ? Thats just insane and it wasnt even a newish model..
Love Hardin Honda! Got my Honda Fit from them about a year ago and just came back today to get a Honda Civic for my husband. They have great service here and the people are so friendly. Would like to personally recommend Richard (known as Senior) and as well as Scott. Senior was very patient in showing us the different cars and not pushy like most salesmen. Super nice and has a lot of wisdom. Would definitely recommend him!
Very disappointed with my experience on July 24,2019 i went in concerned about my 2018 Honda Accord Lx that i had previously bought threw them. jhon balasios the finance manager took me in his office and wasnt paying attention to my worries. he disregarded the whole thing. Erick Turner the sales manager realized i was having a bad experience with how rude and not attentive they were being that he was begging for a good review. he said come on lets be friends your my friend like who says that? thats how you talk to a customer?? and to top it off iman the finance manager was such in a rush when i was signing paper work for my 2019 Honda Accord Sport he was skimming threw all the important documentation. just trying to short cut everything and have me sign. they were trying to sell me a car with over 90 miles on it when i SPECIFICALLY told them before signing paper work that they needed to make sure it didnt have too many miles on it since im purchasing it brand new. but after i told IMAN that i was not signing for this car i felt he got upset and just wanted me out the door! so at the end they ended up correcting the error but this shows just how much attention they gave me. and when leaving outside to get my new vehicle the display settings werent even set up on the car like they had said it would! which was the purpose of why they asked me to fill out the form and put down which features i wanted activated. and REY called me 2 days after and told me he seen my review i left on yelp and he wanted to know what that was all about. and he said well why was it an issue about the feature settings when you had to come back the next day anyway like really? your gonna say that to a customer? so professional right! worst sales man here. these people are not professional at all!such a shame! very disappointed in the dealership that my family has always gone to since i reside down the street from it this was always our place to purchase our vehicles. but after this i will be sure to let everybody know about my experience. very disappointed.a moment that was suppose to be filled with excitement became a total headache !
First time buying a car here and will be the last time. Originally, things went south pretty quickly when I purchased my car. But they made up for it. Now my 2020 civic SI is having ongoing issues that are not consistent. My sunroof/moonroof and all windows go down on their own every now and then. Car got soaked in the last rain inside the interior. My electric break keep turning on randomly which is causing issues. My break hold doesn’t work all the time. My car is constantly trying to lock and Unlock it’s self. And every now and then it will take 8 to 15 seconds for my engine to turn on after pushing the engine start. All management can say is your stuck with this car for two years blah blah blah. Bob is a joke and so is I believe Eric Turner. No one is ever on the same page here and I’ve had it. Now I have to take my car to a different dealer because I can’t stand Hardin and they don’t know how to do a proper service that has notations.
Was a bit nervous going here because of some of the reviews, but it was the closest dealership to my new place so figured Id just give it a go. Did the A1 service and the airbag recalls--had a great experience. Check-in staff were very polite and friendly, as were check-out staff. They have a fairly seamless service update system via text, and texted me when everything was done. No expensive surprises, and they still wash upon request (a lot of dealers up in LA arent even doing it on request anymore, so that was a def plus). Glad I gave them a try and def recommend!
It just seems difficult to get service for my Honda at this location. The first time I went in to get an oil change with an appointment, I was told I would wait for over 2 hours...even with an appointment. Ive never encountered that at other locations. I was told to go across the street to the quick service. Went across the street, the wait was the same...they suggested I show up early morning (7:30am). Showed up another day just before 7:30am, it took 20 minutes for someone to assist me and just to tell me that they didnt have a shuttle.
We saw a great lease deal for Honda Civic on Hardin Honda website but even though the deal was gone day before we came we were able to negotiate on a similar conditions.Raul Marrufo was a great help, explained everything thoroughly and answered all our questions, thanks Raul!Overall very pleasant experience and smooth process, were happy with our new car.
Hardin Honda, your service is deplorable. I live within a few miles of your location, have two Hondas and will NEVER go back to your dealership again. EVER! This was one of the worst customer experiences Ive had. Period.Why bother making an appointment! I used your app to schedule my 9am appt. Your app said nothing about needing my car until 7 pm. Moreover, my appt confirmation informed me that transportation is not required for this appt. Im assuming thats because its a quick software update for my recall. I arrive on time but Im stuck in line for more than 10 minutes before ANY service person takes my info.When I go inside, Im told you need my car until 7pm. Nope! Then Im told that what I agreed to when I scheduled the appointment. NOT TRUE. The Honda app said NOTHING about that. I planned on waiting for my car (even up to 90 mins or so if I had to.) Instead, my service manager says he can get it done by 1pm.I have no choice. So I went with that (unhappily, of course.) When I get to the cashier, Im told itll be at least an hour before a shuttle can take me home. No sympathy, just four people ahead of me all going in different directions, the cashier told me. So I waited.The ONLY pleasant surprise was they ordered me a Lyft which arrived in about 5 mins.I get a a text from my service manager stating . . . If you have any questions reply to this message. Cool - two-way texting! I get another text ... Just checking in to see if you have any questions or concerns . . . I reply back to please just pick me up BEFORE my car is finished. Nothing. No response. I get another text Great news! Your cars done! I call my service manager and asked if he got my text. He says no. WHAT GOOD IS A TWO-WAY TEXTING FEATURE IF YOU DONT USE IT?!Now Im being told its going to be at least an hour before I can be picked up. Now I wait. Im expecting something else to worsen my customer experience (how thats possible, I dont know but Im sure Hardin Honda will find a way.) Ill update this review further when I finally get my car. Until then I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP FOR ANY VEHICLE MAINTENANCE. Find another one even if it means traveling farther, youll be glad you did.
Extremely angry.... I purchased a used vehicle from here back in March... I noticed whenever I accelerate my car takes about 5 seconds until it actually takes off, and it would also shake... I took my vehicle back to the service department a week after I had purchased it to get it checked out.. I spent almost 12 hours sitting in the waiting room, waiting for my car to be ready, and all for nothing because the service technicians told me they didn’t find anything wrong with my car.... They specifically said they couldn’t duplicate the problem while driving my car. At first I was super confused and I told them there was NO way, but they were so sure there was nothing wrong with my car. About a month ago, my car started making another weird noise in the engine, and it started to worry me. I called Hardin Honda to see if they could maybe give me some advice over the phone, to see if I should take my car in again to get it checked out. For some weird reason, they told me they would not be able to help me. I’m 1000% sure they have records of phone calls there, mine will show up. They recommended I take my car to an actual FORD dealer to get it checked out. I took it to a Worthington Ford dealer to get it checked out, and SURPRISE They found out what was wrong with my vehicle. I have been trying to get a hold of someone to speak to about this issue, because NOW I have to pay $350 out of pocket for an issue that should have been found the VERY FIRST time I took it in to Hardin Honda. I am super upset! If they would’ve figured out what was wrong with my vehicle, it would have been covered because to my knowledge, a used car’s warranty is up to 1 month. I am super upset! I shouldn’t have to pay this at all, The issue should have been found and fixed when I took it back to Hardin Honda.. I have been searching for a corporate number or something equivalent for a little while now and have had no luck. If someone could help me out with this issue Please let me know I will be waiting for a response !
I purchased a 2012 Honda Accord from Hardin Honda this week. Dylan Kellison in sales was so helpful. I called ahead of time and he had the car pulled up already for me to look at. He sat and answered any questions I had. I didnt feel as though he was just trying to get me to buy a car to make a sale. He was so nice and genuine and, although, I left the dealership that first night without my car, he was in touch with me all day the next day. He worked some magic to get me the deal I needed and wanted in order to make the purchase a reality. Thank you, Dylan, for being great to deal with this past week. Im so happy with my new (to me) car!I also had a smooth and easy experience with Daniel Carmolinga in Finance when I went to pick up my car that next day. I was a first time buyer and Daniel was great at answering my endless questions. He was patient and kind and made what I thought would be a very stressful experience a fairly easy one! Thanks again!
We had an agreed upon price for the 2016 Civic EX-L. When we arrived, a staff member opened the door and welcomed us. We were immediately greeted by Ray, the salesman who we spoke with on the phone. He answered our remaining questions, provided the credit application and said hed have the car prepared for delivery. While we waited for finance, Ray demonstrated the features of the car. The finance rep was organized and efficient. The process was smooth from the time we walked in to the time we left in my new car. Everyone we encountered was courteous and professional. Hardin Honda achieved service excellence!
Was very appreciative and impressed with how they handled my particular situation. Service was fast and my car is running great! Thanks to the mechanic I think his name was Robert Young who was over qualified with knowledge about my car and the symptoms it had. Good to kno that the mechanics there are the real deal
Went in for an oil change. Service rep, explained all of the options and quoted prices. Didnt try to upsell at all. Pricing was fair. Gave me an estimate of how long it would take based on how busy they were. Customer lounge is pretty decent. They provided text notifications on the work. In and out. Simple, no hassle.
I was able to make an appointment online and received an email confirmation. My vehicle had a manufacture recall and I was also hearing a strange noise from the car. Rodolfo Ayala helped me at Hardin Honda and he was great! The team was able to verify and fix the strange noise and conducted a multipoint inspection too!
So we tried returning a used car and the Sales manager basically said he cant help us. The helpful honda guys werent so helpful. We were told we have two days to return the vehicle for any reason but due to their sale processing they tricked us into quickly signing the 2 day opt out contract but still saying we have 2 days to return the vehicle. Theres was no other opinions or suggestions just a straight theres nothing we can do from the Sales Manager 😡😠 vary disappointed and dissatisfied!!!!!
I leased a Honda Civic from Hardin Honda in November 2016. At the time, I was given a new car that had a light on -- when I looked in the owners manual to determine what it meant, I learned that I had to service immediately and should not drive the car. I had to return it the next day and waited for several hours while the dealership tried to fix the car. They told me it was fine, and that the service light had gone off; I got in and the light was still on. Eventually, they decided they needed to give me another vehicle.At the time, because I had spent hours over the course of 2 days dealing with the leasing process, I was promised free floor/trunk mats for the vehicle. The mats were not in stock, so I was told they would be mailed to my address within 2 weeks. They were never sent, and when I called to inquire about them, I was told that the agent I dealt with no longer worked there, but that someone would call me back. No one called me back. I called again and was told the same thing. It has been months now, and I have yet to hear from Hardin Honda.The worst part of all: When I leased the car, as part of its efforts to lease 2016 vehicles, the dealership told me it would pay for a month of insurance. The insurance broker rolled up after the paperwork had been signed and told me that the dealership was paying only for the bare minimum, and that I would not be legally compliant unless I paid an additional ~$100. Trying to end this seemingly endless experience, I paid it. Since then, Ive received a dozen notices from the insurance company stating that I owe them money because -- apparently -- the dealership did not pay its portion of the insurance in full. I now face the option of paying the remainder due or having the bill sent to a collections agency.Thanks, Hardin Honda.(giving 2 stars because, even if Hardins service is terrible, the car I leased is great)
Naeli Droubi one of the service men helped me. Very polite and quick with his info. In addition to getting an oil change i got my tires rotated and needed 6 clips for the driver side of my car as they were missing. It was $3 each for the clips but i decided to get it anyways. After my vehicle was ready he took half off the price, which was a very generous courtesy and installed the clips too. Very happy with the service here. The cashier was also very friendly. Overall satisfied.
Worst experience. I met this rude guy (John Palacio, Finance team) who was completely avoiding me from buying a vehicle in their shop. Firstly, I was wondering why they are letting finance person to deal sales. He doesnt know anything about the car I was buying and he was avoiding my questions about the car. And he told to me that he doesnt want to sell the car to me. I dont know the reason for this. Coming to the vehicle quality, the car has rust and paint chipping problems which we figured it by our own. They were trying to hide this from us. Overall, I would never again go to this dealer showroom.
People always tell me dont go to dealership for routine maintenance it will cost you twice the$$ .But thats not true. Ive gotten oil changes done here and its quick, cheap and the right oil from Honda experts plus a free carwash is a nice bonus. These guys are great .
Our sales person Martin was friendly and low-pressure. We had not intended to buy a car that evening, but he listened to what we wanted and did his best to help us. The finance department crunched numbers for us at our request, and in the end, we were happy owners of a new Civic.
I was thoroughly impressed by the outstanding customer service I received from Richard (JR). His professionalism, respect, character, and interpersonal communication skills reflect a person with the highest levels of integrity and dignity. I wish everyone could experience this uniquely special and highly commendable customer when shopping for a new car.
If I could I would rate a -5 for Service Center. Since i have bought this car on Beach Blvd. I have had a TERRIBLE experience. I bought an extended warranty, took my car in overnight at least twice only to be told it was not serviced AT ALL. I had to take the initiative to call them in regards to my car during my work hours only to get a call back at the end of the day they were off. In those two occasions I still had to wait after work to get mty car back because they had done absolutely NOTHING to my car. They lie to you, make assumptions, dont follow up, pretend to not know what youre talking about when you call them out and you STILL dont recieve ANY customer Service. I will NEVER be buying another car at ANY Honda Dealers EVER in my life. They scam you and do NOTHING to help you, only complicating your life. Worst place to go, aside Westminister. Keep in mind I had to go to three different Honda locations to attempt to recieve ANY type of Customer Service and never found it at ANY location. Thank you for nothing.
I am still in awe over the amazing service I received here! Back in December I went to the Buena Park dealer to get my car serviced and to this day I am bummed out over the horrible service I experienced and on top of that the LACK of response I got from their management team. I was skeptical of even coming to another Honda dealer period, but gave Hardin a shot and I am pleased to say my car has found a new home. Rolled in around 11 am and there was NO line. I was immediately greeted by the attendant with a huge welcoming smile and didn’t leave me standing there trying to figure out what to do or who to talk to! (Buena Park would already have a line past the parking lot and down into the drive way! I had an appointment for an oil change and the entire ordeal took about 4 hours!) and here I waited LESS then 50 mins and got a FREE voucher for a car wash! First time I went here was for a oil change for my 2015 accord, I got there pretty early, at about 7:30am, was immediately approached by a service writer as soon as I pulled up, I usually dont go to dealer for service because of how pricey but since I had a coupon for full synthetic oil change for only 39.99 it was a deal, I was out in about 50 mins and also received a free car wash which I wasn’t expecting since most Honda dealers don’t give free car washes anymore. My overall experience was amazing, I definitely recommend this place.
When I bought my car the experience was great and the quickest Ive ever experienced. When I came for my first oil change my service only took an hour; again the shortest service Ive ever had. This is my first Honda I have owned and thus far my experience has been wonderful and painless!!
I drove my car into the place with a low tire. I thought I had a hole in my tire. Im from Arizona and it appeared to us that they were taking all the cars that were bought from them and fixing them first.After 3 hours my car was put in the air and they found out that the tire had been slashed on the inside.They had my car tire thank God.However they had taken 20 cars before us. We sat there for 3 hours. We could have been out of there if they just looked at the tire in the beginning in between fixing their cars.The girl that fixed up our paper work was not a very kind person. I was first contacted by Melissa Rodriguez through internet price quote, and she was able match me with a good price for the car color that I want. When we met in person, she was very patient in explaining everything about the car, did not push me in buying anything that I did not want. I called and spoke to Scott regarding a lease for a Honda CR-V. I told him I have been to multiple dealers and these are the prices Im in the market for. The next day Adeal called me and said to give them a chance and he will guarantee he will satisfy us as consumers. I told him I loved 40 miles away, yet he continued to promise to beat the other dealers I had visited.I drove down today, after an hour of wasting my time, Adeal wasnt available, they come to me with ridiculous pricing. 100$$ over their sister dealer. The manager comes up with the sales rep and displays low quality customer service, calls me a liar regarding what the other Honda had quoted me.In conclusion, please do your research prior to visiting this dealer. After speaking to a Hardin Honda after sales problem, a manager called me ASAP and we were able to resolved the problem. I am glad he tried and promised to make life easier for my Honda Odyssey we leased from them. Two reason why we leased from them was price and brand. This place deserves only one star. The only thing Hardin Honda did right was great me properly as I was gazing at my current car. After that Ive had nothing but problems.I was 24 and a first time buyer. I was so excited to finally be getting a car of my own but soon realized the experience wasnt as great as I anticipated it to be. I had a few more days to spend the money I had been given by my bank to buy a car and after looking around for the last 24 days I just wanted to be finished with the process.I found a car and thought I had picked a winner, little did I know that was far from the truth.I finally finish the paper work and the car is now mine or that is what I thought. The sales men looks at the vin number and realizes he sold me the wrong car and I was forced to wait another hour and a half for him to fix his mistake. Im young however I understand mistakes but this was not the last.A few months go by and I lose my key. My dad asks me why I didnt grab a spare key, which I should have been given. I tell him, Im sorry. I just didnt know. They didnt give me one. I call and ask for the spare key they were supposed to give me. I am told that they dont have it. So I have to spend more of my money.There are multiple reasons why I would not recommend Hardin Honda, a few of those reasons I mentioned above; however, I am beyond reasoning and plead with you to not buy, look or even consider going to Hardin Honda. It is a debacle the way their company is ran and the way they service their costumers. Fast forward a year to know and my biggest regret in the past 5 years was buying a car from Hardin Honda. Do not make my same mistake.
Came here to see a specific car, which we ended up not liking (no problem so far). The salesman asked us if we wanted to see another one. Sure. We told him we didnt like it, but he anyway insisted to sit us down, make us an offer and waste our time. We told him we were not interested. He said he had to go in the back and get some more information for us. After 10 minutes I went in the back and saw him laughing with his colleagues. Then he insisted he had to get a manager to speak to us before we left, which was another five minutes. The manager asked us what we thought of the car. We told him we didnt like the car. He turned to the salesman and told him Dude. They didnt like the car.... The salesman in questions must have read in some $5 book on sales that the more time you get your client to waste the more committed they are to the process. You know when you meet somebody who thinks hes a Jedi, but hes not? Thats what this was like. Maybe it works if your customers are idiots with nothing better to do. Well now were committed to never setting foot here again.
I guess because it’s Friday and they want to leave early that they turn you down to get your oil change just because they closed at 5 (which is in 3 hrs) and guide you to go another location across the street we’re the line are obviously longer giving me NO CONFIDENCE they will go take care of my car needs safely because they will also be in a rush to close shop.Some service here!!!

Went into the dealership and spent longer than I needed. Got there at 9:30am and left around 3pm. On 11/13/2019 they called and told me they needed my transcripts to get $500.00 off for graduate or soon to be graduate. Received a call from John P on 11/17/2019 in finance saying he needed my college grad paper work. Everything I had was forwarded to the sales person and they said since I’m close to graduation I qualify. Now it’s a whole bunch of non sense on their end. I would have gave them 5 stars but they blew that review. All I know if they better honor what they said because social media is a powerful tool!!
Such a rude staff and team. Just un-bearable in sales pressure. Was giving subtle attitude when I said the car was too expensive and I wanted to think about it. Is it not alright to think about a major decision like that? Felt extra uncomfortable with my son sitting with me too.
Outstanding, Fabulously courteous, a fantastic car buying experience with Hardin Honda team led by young man Matt and his associates Teryn & Nikkita, which is kind of rare these days. People with personality who definitely wanted to make a sale, however in a very polite and professional manners. My wife & I were just stopping by to check out the CR-V, since I never had a Honda B4. Just drove out with my brand new 2018 Civic Si and couldn’t be happier. I spoke with Kris Chang on the phone before coming in and told him I really didn’t want to deal with the back and forth negotiations. Wanted a good deal and good service. Well Kris delivered extremely well in both categories. Highly advise asking for him if you’re in the market for a Honda.
BAIT AND SWITCH.Ive been working with this dealership for well over a month now, and I submitted my offer for a 2019 CRV. After daily phone calls one of the salesman (his name was caleb) called us to informed us that the management team finally approved our offer. We then drove almost 2 hours to the dealership only to run around with Caleb for another hour and a half and have our offer denied. When caleb came back from the management desk with our offer not only was it not the offer that the management team initially approved us for, but it was almost $4,000 ABOVE what we initially agreed.Caleb was a great guy and a good salesman, but the management team/closers in the back behind the desks made the dealership as a whole look extremely untrustworthy.Will NOT be returning again.
I recently leased my first Honda - a 2015 Accord- with the intent to purchase it after the lease term has been met. I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of the process. My fiance and I went in one evening to check out a specific model I had found on the Hardin Hondas website and I just loved it. Andrew helped us find it and was great with telling us about all of the features. He did a WONDERFUL job! He and his manager also helped find an option that would allow us to drive the car home that very night through a lease - something that I had not considered. But, it worked out and I couldnt be happier. One word to the wise, if you are planning on getting a new car during the week like I ended up doing, take the next day off because you will be so excited and want to spend all your time getting to know your new car - work is an unpleasant distraction, as is the lack of sleep from excitement!Ask for Andrew when you visit Hardin, he will definitely take great care of you and will follow up to ensure you are happy.
I came in with my accord to do a transmission and radiator fluid change. Was told it would take 1 hour the most 1 hour and 15 min. I been waiting now for over 2 hours for something the guy on counter said shouldnt have taken so long when asked how much more time. I am annoyed at this point. I do not think I will be back at this dealer anymore. Would not recommend to anyone.
Ive always had the cars that I bought from Hardin serviced at their facility. Mr. Monday at the service center has always been friendly and helpful to me. He is probably why I trust the service there. Besides, the coffee there is great! I see that I gave only 4 stars, this needs to be 5 stars
I just recently bought a car from Hardin Honda the experience was a little bumpy just because my bank was making it hard for me to get the car I wanted but my boy iman hooked me up took care of me worked with me to make it happen I really appreciated it !! 1st time came for seatbelt inspection, advisor said she will order seatbelt buckle for replacement.Came back 8 days later for seatbelt buckle replace after received call from Kari, she told me that part arrived. I came here and Kari said wrong part was ordered and she’ll reorder for correct parts.3rd time I scheduled appointment with shuttle requested for seatbelt buckle replace and recall. Waited more than an hour after arrived and no shuttle provided, check with another guy, he said I’m not in shuttle waiting list then gave a lift ride. I came back 4hrs after Kari call and said my vehicle is ready. Checked out and found out my broken seatbelt still there. Kari said the technician guy replaced the buckle to another seat.Can you believe it???I never come back to Hardin Honda services again even just for car wash.Be aware guysBought 3 new vehicles there in past 7 years and they all have to repair/service just couple months after leave dealer.
Hello there. My car buying experience was great. No complaints!On the other hand, my first oil change was a different experience entirely. My service advisor (Alfredo), has tried to do his best, and I appreciate that. The technician has been a bust.First, he was not supposed to wash the car because the nose mask was on the front. He washed it regardless of the instructions on the work order. It was ruined, in my opinion.Alfredo ordered me a new one. I give him high praise for that.Now, my shield under the motor came loose and drug along the ground. One corner of the shield has been worn off.Alfredo had the tech screw the 3 remaining corners down but it is still damaged by negligence and hanging down slightly.I should receive a new shield from you folks....dont you think?A simple oil change has turned into a disaster!Thanks for this forum to air my grievances.
I bought a used Ford, the car was giving me problems the 2nd week, i took it for them to inspect it and they said they did not find anything wrong with my car. 3 weeks after my car started making knocking noises and when i called to see if they can inspect it they told me i was out of my 30 day warranty and that they dont specialize in Ford only Honda and Acura, which sparks the question as to if they really did inspect my vehicle correctly the last time we took it to get checked, or if they even do it at all since they do not specialize in Ford. Either way I am very upset and will for one only change my review if we are properly helped and also i hope this brings awareness to their used vehicle sales team and specially their service department
I bought a Honda Odyssey for almost a year. The DVD in the car is not working. I brought it to the dealer ( Hardin Honda) the first time they told me that the car was working. I went home and tried DVD, but it didn’t. I brought it back again and they said I had to use blue ray dis. I tried, but I didn’t work again. Then I brought my car back again, and they said this is a known issue but they don’t have a fix yet and don’t know when they can fix it. It is unacceptable to sell a defect car with a full price. Please don’t buy Honda because this issue’s been for many years for Honda 2017 and 2018 too, but they manufacture and the dealer don’t do anything to resolve it. I’ve never wrote a negative a review, but this time I already wrote the review to consumer affair too. Hope everyone take it seriously before buy product from Honda.
I needed help getting my car started when the key battery in my 2014 Honda Accord Sport died. I called this dealership and was told I need to bring the car in to get serviced. I explained to the person over the phone that the car was fine I wasnt sure on how to disable the alarm to start the car. The service person proceeded to tell me that it could not be started and I needed to come in and get the car serviced. I explained to her that was not correct, if that were the case valet keys wouldnt work because they dont have remote unlock options, so the car should be able to start. I was placed on hold to confirm the answer, then I was told I would have to get the car towed to the dealer to be serviced because it could be a plethora of different things. I was able to go YouTube and discover I could disable the alarm with my key by turning the key in the door to the left and then to the right and holding it for 2 seconds. This allowed me to start my car. The dealership appear to not care about anything but making money and couldnt assist me with the most simple of issues.
It was a pleasant and smooth experience here at Hardin Honda. Scott quoted us the price on the phone and oversaw the whole process, Jorge helped us with test drive and initial paperwork, Daniel helped us with the rest of the paperworks. Jorge again showed us around the car functions and made sure we drove the car away safely and comfortably. Everyone was patient, friendly, courteous and professional. The whole process was straightforward, smooth, honest and no game playing. And unlike Spreen Honda, there was no changing of story at the last step of signing paperworks here. We were prepared to walk away again after 90 miles of driving(yes, it was long drive to both dealers for us), but Hardin Honda rebuilt our trust that were lost at Spreen Honda the previous weekend — thank you,Hardin Honda!After arrived home, I updated five of my friends/neighbors my experience in the social media group. They are also looking to buy Honda cars. I also want to mention the three beautiful ladies we came across in the hall — thanks for your friendliness, beautiful smiles, and kind offering of green tea!
Very positive experience with my salesperson JR. He was respectful and expectant of the haggling that goes on, unlike other dealerships. Got a great deal on a CR-Z. Other dealerships like Ocean Honda in San Juan Capistrano and Rancho Santa Margarita Honda didnt even counter my offers, so I took my business here and Im glad I did!

I was on my way to Disneyland with my girlfriend on 8/19/17 for her birthday when my car started acting up. My engine started to jerk and a bunch of lights turned on my display so I searched for the closest Honda dealership (Hardin Honda) I could find and headed there. When we arrived a service rep by the name of Steven paisley greeted us. I explained our situation along with the fact that we lived 50+ miles away and he made it clear to us that he would do all he could to help us out and he sure did. Long story short the car was fixed and covered under warranty. The experience I received by Steven and his staff was amazing. Steven spoke to me in a very understanding, sympathetic, and professional way. It was clear he knew what he was doing and I couldnt be any happier to have gone through that situation with him as my service rep. Great service reps overall and huge thanks to Steven Paisley for making such a frustrating moment into a great experience!
I love this Hardin Honda in Anaheim. They have the best sales people on the floor, especially Ray, who walked an extra mile to make sure that I would get the best deal. The process of getting the car didnt take long because Daniel, the finance guy, was really very knowledgeable and fast. Thank you guys, you are the best!

2022-07-05Recently purchased a used Toyota Corolla 2020 from Hardin Honda, the buying process was swift and straightforward thanks to my Helpful Honda sales man Christian Canizal . Also big thanks for the Finance Manager Arnaldo who was professioanl, friendly, proactive, and just a great person to deal with. He helped me getting the Finance price of my vehicle down to a reasonable monthly payments. Would recommend him to anyone who comes by this dealership! I need to add that he also helped me in the after sales service cause the battery was dead in few days after I bought the vehicle and Hardin Honda Service Team replaced it with a new battery.I will also be recommending this dealership to all of my family and friends. 2022-03-31Horrible experience, avoid this Honda location for any repairs or service, especially tire rotations.I have only maintained my vehicle with dealer care all in the years I have owned my car. I also take extra care to to keep my car nice as well as never miss a service. I have an Acura, but have been coming here for about 2 years for routine maintenance needs after going to Acura the years before. This location has been doing my tire rotations, oil changes etc. and thought they were pretty fair with prices. Unfortunately, they made an error with my tire rotation service last time and I was hit with a bill 2 days ago to fix a tire lug nut that was stuck.I approved them to go ahead and do the repair, even though the price was high, and I confirmed the damage was due to their mistake on the prior rotation. It is one thing for me to take a small hit for the cost, but its another when they take sloppy measures to fix the issue and cause damage my rim.When any repair is made I expect the technician and team to take care and delicate procedures to protect my car when doing it and this did not happen.The team ruined my beautiful rim and I cant repair the damage they caused which is way beyond just surface scratches. There was plenty of space between the nut and hole around, and they could have provided extra protection and sensitivity when doing the repair. The worst part is the technician and service rep even showed me in the shop what they were doing and assured me there would be zero damage to my rim.I paid a lot of money for this rim upgrade at the dealer when I bought the car and now only have 3 good looking rims. Its terrible what they have done, and to think I was even considering an upgrade or trade in is crazy.Its really too bad because Honda and Acura are such reliable cars and will run forever if maintained, but my service experience is making me rethink my next car purchase. Mistakes like this have never happened at my BMW and Ford dealer.

2021-12-05I took my car in for the B1 service a few months ago. Everything was fine until I took the car on a road trip a few days later. On the trip my battery died and I had to pay over $300.00 to have a guy come out and replace my battery.When I looked at my service record it said my battery checked out fine. When I looked at my battery terminals they were covered in oxidation and buildup, there was also an acid leak which exacerbated the failure.When I got back I called their service department and the service manager told me he was sorry but his guy ‘must’ve missed it,’ and before I even mentioned the cost of my roadside service he told me they don’t owe me anything and there was nothing he could do. He then tried to hang up on me. When I asked to speak to his boss he told me he was the boss. And when I asked to speak to his manager he said ‘Shane’ would call me back shortly. As you can imagine, I never received the call.Since I paid them for incomplete service I’m starting to wonder what else they have ‘missed’ in the past. Obviously my battery wasn’t even looked at and it was marked off as good on my inspection print out.I know things happen but the rudeness and dismissiveness was totally uncalled for. I’m never going back and I’m telling everyone I know to no longer use them.All around a really sad situation.

2022-07-04Horrible first time experience. I just moved to the area and went for a service. I scheduled an appointment for service at 7:00am on July 4 and they sent me a confirmation and everything. They even sent me a reminder for it at 7:00am when i was standing in front of the closed gates to their service center along with a long line of people also with appointments. Shameful Honda!!! I met people who called in their appointments and other who did their appointments online like me. If you are closed or opening late let your patrons know. I can only assume how their service would be like if this is how their customer care works.

2022-04-13Hardin Honda is rated A + service in my book. John the service advisor checked under my hood and said I dont need any repairs. I am thankful for his honesty and it was worth the drive from Long Beach to Anaheim. They also have a wide variety of beautiful cars if your looking to buy one. The sales tax is less in Orange county.

2022-04-27Honestly I feel lied to and they took advantage of me. They replaced something without my permission, had me pick up car right before they were closing so I couldnt speak to a manager before paying. I felt forced to pay, went back to speak to the manager the next day. They had me wait for Monday until their main boss came in. He basically said in a nice way that I was stupid for paying. Of course I feel stupid for paying, but I really needed my car. They have yet to help me with this concern, dont go here dont trust them, some guy named Alex helped me. Just avoid this Honda place as much as you can. This place will take advantage of you and take every penny if they could.
