Great place to stay, rooms are heated and air condition, rooms are spacious and the bathroom dont have a tub which I like. I love the shower better. It has a complimentary breakfast buffet with, eggs, pancakes, sausage, coffee, cereals and oatmeal. Youll save yourself a meal everyday before you head to the parks. The pool is awesome and the jacuzzi even better. My kids and I loved it, the staff is amazing specially Jessica. I will definitely return.
Nice clean and friendly staff. Front desk guys was great. This is my second time going here, and it was still a very chill place to be. For the breakfast though they really could use more meat options non pork. I am allergic to pork so it sucks to eat only eggs and a banana. For example turkey bacon or turkey sausage would be great thanks!
We had a wonderful time staying 4 nights at the Hampton Inn & Suites at the Anaheim Convention Centre. The rooms were clean & spacious and the service was outstanding. We were particularly impressed with Irene’s food services team during the morning breakfasts who provided a delicious selection of breakfast choices each day. We will most definitely stay at this site during any future visits to Anaheim and the Disneyland Parks.
Updated, clean, well maintained rooms. Comfortable beds with Good AC. I found the tub to be slippery. Good wifi. Three elevators available. Plenty of parking with easy in, easy out. Service was fine. Good breakfast with plenty of seating. Nice square pool with hot tub and lounge chairs. 20 minute walk to Disneyland. 8 minute walk to Disneyland Parking lot.
We had a great experience at the Hampton Inn - large room that accommodated 5 easily (2 queens, comfortable pull out), and plenty of space to move around. Surprisingly good complementary breakfast - waffles, pancakes, eggs, fruit, oatmeal, sausage, etc. Highly recommend for those looking for hotels in walking distance to Disneyland.
This would be a better review because the hotel was nice and clean and the breakfast was really good there was only one problem. I got in early and the front desk said the room wasn’t ready, I was not that surprised but I came down multiple times between 11 and 3 and they just kept telling me nope not clean. I saw housekeeping there all day and don’t see why they couldn’t get my room type ready. I checked the last time at 2:45pm and they said nope still not ready. I literally went to the 3rd floor and second shift came in and magically my room was ready. Thank you Nola. I am certain more could have been done but first shift just didn’t want to be bothered.
Rooms were very clean. This is huge. Location was pretty good, even if youre not visiting Disneyland. The breakfast was not good. Free, but not good. Theyre cereal dispensers are labeled Kellog... Its not Kellog, its an off brand called Hospitality... and you can taste the difference. False advertisement. The fact the hotel makes guest pay to park is absolutely ridiculous. $24 a night plus tax. At least make it a better deal. Overall, it was a clean hotel, which is why it got 4 stars. Cleanliness is king.
Great location, affordable pricing, clean hotel, pleasant staff, great breakfast, good parking options (extra fee), even a larger-than-average workout room and pool and spa area. That breakfast though—it wasn’t quite Embassy Suites style, but it was close! Pancakes, eggs, meat (sausage or bacon), apples and bananas, oatmeal, coffee, milk, boiled eggs, yogurt. Great way to pack in the energy for a long day of theme parks or sightseeing.Only drawbacks for me:1. No EV charging stations. Are we not all convinced yet that EVs are on the rise? If so, then throw in 3-4 Tesla charging stations and a couple alternates for “the other guys.” It’s a one time expense that will bring in travelers who might otherwise choose a different hotel that does have them.2. Would have liked to see the workout room and breakfast to be open for longer. Workout from 5a-11p rather than 6a-10p. For breakfast in a vacation area with kids I’d like to see breakfast open until 10 instead of 9:30am.
The best part about this hotel is 100% the staff at the front desk! They bend over backwards to help. Gina qt the front desk was so sweet! Unfortunately this stay we noticed housekeeping is slipping. Our first room smelled terrible & our second room had urine stains on the bottom of the toilet. Its usually such a clean & wonderful hotel so this was a bummer!
Stayed here for 4 nights, 5 days at the end of June for 3 days at the Disney parks. We have stayed at other Hampton Inn & Suites before and were satisfied with those locations, but I felt this location left a lot to be desired for the price we paid.Pros:1)The room was clean (though the floor was damp from what we assume was it being shampooed?), we loved the bunk bed/king size suite we booked- it was nice to have a door to shut when the kids fell asleep and I still had to shower/get things packed and ready for the next day at the parks.2)It is conveniently located next to the Toy Story Disneyland shuttle - the Katella entrance was open the whole time we were there so it was literally only a 10 minute walk from hotel room to security line/bus.3)The breakfast was good and convenient to have before heading to the parks in the morning. They had plenty of food options and kept it well-stocked.Cons:1) The mini fridge in the room was ENTIRELY too mini, almost comically so, it didnt get cold enough so our food/milk for kids spoiled, and it didnt have a freezer! Weve stayed at other Hampton Inns and the fridges were decent size with a freezer section so thats what we were counting on so we could freeze ice packs over night for the parks and get our drinks cold over night for the next day.2) No drawers to put things in. For a long stay that would be nice to have.3) For being a Good Neighbor Hotel for Disneyland, I would have liked for there to be some Disney themed decor or something extra like that for the kids/families staying there (there was none).4) The lighting in the room was very dim. I had read some reviews that mentioned this before booking but didnt believe them. But its true, there just didnt seem to be enough light ever (in the room with no window). Also, trash cans are tiny and no bags in them!5)Safety issue #1 - One night some people had jumped up and down in one of the elevators and it somehow decommissioned them ALL (3 of them) - we got back to the hotel at night and had to walk up 5 flights of stairs to our room. For us it was manageable because we are able-bodied, but this seems like a serious issue for anyone who has a disability and depends on the elevators - this location should have a contingency plan for that.6) Saftey issue #2 - Our last day there the fire alarm when off. We went out to the hall and saw some cleaning staff. They looked as confused as we did. We tried to figure out where the stairs were to get out in case there was a fire, but as I will mention later, nobody seemed to know where the stairs were to direct us! Turned out it was just someone who had pulled an alarm and there was no fire, but no staff came around or made an announcement or anything to let guests know what to do. If it had been an actual fire, I dont know what would have happened.7) The staff was generally friendly but really were not very helpful or knowledgable when we asked questions - One day the line for the elevator was so long we wanted to just walk up the stairs - but when we asked where they were no staff members we encountered could tell us! Finally one staff member told us they dont have stairs for guests to go UP, only to come down... huh? Another night we got back late from the parks and realized we hadnt eaten dinner so I asked the front desk person if the hotel had a list of restaurants in the area that were open late and delivered to the hotel, assuming such a list existed, but he looked puzzled and just said, The only place I remember ever delivering here is like, Dominos, Pizza hut or Hideout Pizza He didnt try to look anything up or provide numbers or anything, just told us to google it😂 Which obviously we could, but I expected better customer service and more knowledge about the area for the guests. So overall I would say the stay was decent, and if it had been cheaper, Id probably not have complained because generally you get what you pay for, but for the amount we paid here I expected more/better, and I would choose another hotel when we come back for another Disney trip.
March 2022, we loved our stay at the Hampton…our first time staying at this location. We stayed for 4 days/3 nights. Booked through Booking.com. We were there to visit Disneyland and Hermosa beach. The front desk staff was very approachable, respectful and always cheerful as we went in and out of the hotel. Our room was spacious: beds were comfortable, sheets were clean, bunk beds were a plus as you can see in the photos, 2 large TVs, a couch, USB ports everywhere, a mini fridge that was always cold and a microwave but we did. It need to use it but very convenient to have inside the room. The lights are motion sensor we loved that feature. The bathroom was also spacious and clean with plenty of towels we have no complaints! The hotel had a modified service of no stayover housekeeping services but it did not impact our stay.Breakfast was included during our stay and even though I am allergic to eggs there was plenty to choose from: oatmeals w/fixings, milk/juices/coffee/tea, eggs/sausage/hash browns, pancakes (we had these Saturday) toast/jam, a variety of cereals, hot sauces and more!OTHER Reviews complain about the breakfast, this just is not true the hotel was more than generous. They had coffee until late at night as well light/dark/decaf and hot water for tea. Splenda and regular sugar too.My spouse and child took advantage of the pool and really like it and the jacuzzi as well, pool was heated.Yes there is a daily parking charge $26 but it did not impact our stay.Hotel was 10-15 min walking distance to Disneyland parks and downtown Disney, very easy to walk. Lots of restaurants/coffee shops and a Walgreens was near our hotel. 8 min away from the hotel was the Anaheim Packing District (many restaurants in one area). We are looking forward to our next stay at this hotel!
Absolutely great family place to stay!! Unfortunately, it was just me and spouse, so it was more a kids hotel.Staff was super amazing!!! America, Nola, Ra, Andrei,Maintenance, and Supervisor gave the best upscale customer service ever! Coming from NYC to California was great and they made us feel at home. Very comfortable and courteous.Very clean facility, room cozy(mini refrigerator/ microwave). Located 6 mins from DisneylandAmenities:Room: 317; 6/22-6/25; view of streetview(7 Eleven across street).Pool- 4ft deep; closes early- 10pmFree breakfast- 630A-930A-Eggs, pork sausage, hot cakes, diy waffles, 3 cereals. Wish there was more pf a variety.Deposit hold for room -$200
Id like to thank Nola at the front desk for how professional she has conducted herself. I came in from a 5 hour drive with my family and was dog tired. There was a minor mix up with the paperwork and I gave her some attitude. After the mix up was fixed, we came back and she was just as professional and I apologized. She did her best to make us feel welcome and even gave my 19 month old some free toys and stickers for the inconvenience. Nola, you are awesome. Thank you.
This hotel has the most uncomfortable pillows I’ve ever experienced staying in a hotel, they are flat as can be. Also, walls are paper thin. Could hear the people above us all night. Front desk was not very helpful and charged us for parking when we did not have a car and trying to get this corrected has been annoying. Very disappointed in this hotel and our stay.
We were stayed there from March 15 to March 18th 2022 for My dougter 9th Birthday, Everything was very nice. More than I expected it. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was hot and yummy!!! The workers are super friendly and helpful. If I ever get the chance to come back I will without a doubt.. 👍🏼 Highly recommend it here, But the only thing I didnt like was Parking Charges which was $ - 26+Tax, I think Should Free for Hilton Members
We s stayed here for a week to go to Disneyland. The room was very nice and spacious. Breakfast choices were a little limited due to covid but not horrible. It is a bit of a hike if you want to walk to Disneyland but the Toy Story Lot is a short walk with a free shuttle to the parks.
Nice rooms but its so noisy all night, the beds vibrate. Hotel is on a main street with cars, buses, sirens racing all night, I couldnt sleep at all, even with the strongest ear plugs. I asked for a room away from the street but the request was ignored, maybe there arent better rooms. However, the rooms are modern and spacious so if you could sleep through anything, this hotel would be nice for you. Breakfast was good
Very nice & clean rooms. Felt totally safe when you enter parking lot and elevator you have to use your card key to gain entry. We got here just in time for almost being normal again with a real breakfast (no bagged breakfast here!)Will definitely stay here again next time.BTW there is a free shuttle to Disneyland, but it’s not at this hotel. There is a specific shuttle station you have to walk to get on the shuttle. Even the walk to Disneyland was only 20 mins.
Horrible experience so far!! Beds are so uncomfortable unless you like sleeping on a rock. Outlets at bedside are on a stupid sensor for some reason so phones don’t charge as well as the outlet on the wall next to the bed so you have to plug phone in on opposite of room. The free breakfast speaks for itself, you get what you pay for. Usually I’m happy with the Hilton brand however I will NEVER stay at this one again.
The hotel was clean, staff was friendly, great location (for Disney). My family and I enjoyed our stay. The only downsides were breakfast (not great, but nice to have option) and parking was limited - if you show up after 10 pm (this was on a Saturday though), good luck finding a spot. Thankfully, we were able to find one of the last spots available. I’m uncertain about their protocols on this, but in the morning I saw several cars blocked off. I would definitely stay here again in the future though.
Digital!!! I used my phone as a room key, gym room and pool key as well as the elevator key. I love the use of modern technology. Made our stay so easy. Yes this place was very clean. Breakfast was prompt and delicious. It was a great stay at this place. Not too costly in my opinion either. 7 minutes away from Disney!
Property was quite nice, close proximity to Disneyland. Staff friendliness was lack luster. In addition, my debit card was authorized twice for two separate amounts and I was automatically charged for parking when I did not park - flew in and took Lyft. Not much variety for breakfast either. If the accounting gets sorted satisfactorily, I would consider staying here again. However, I was not overly impressed being a HIlton Honors member.
This hotel was extremely clean and well maintained. The free breakfast was good. The only reason I cannot give them a 5 star rating is the noise. We were on the second floor facing the street and could hear every sound outside. I would probably stay here again, but only on a higher floor facing the parking lot.
Very clean and quiet hotel. they were able to accommodate and early check in and that was a nice little extra. Breakfast was hot and filling, not as great as before covid, but certainly not the worst. I like the security of having to have a room key to use the hotel elevators, another feature to maintain safety. Parking was better than the last time I stayed here.
Breakfast was awful, some kind of mystery meat, hard tater tots and powdered eggs all served at lukewarm temperature! Not a close walk to the Toy story shuttle at all. Outlets for the phone by the beds were not working. Hotel was clean and the parking area felt safe and secure.
We are staying at the Hampton for our Disney trip. It’s a really nice hotel, rooms are clean, it’s close to the shuttle, etc. However the free breakfast is awful. There are no selections other than toast, cereal, or the typical eggs and sausage. However in this case the eggs and sausage are gross. I literally had to spit it out because there were things in the sausage that were not edible. Also, be aware they don’t touch your room until you leave. No trash collection or new towels. You have to ask the front desk clerk for these items it you need them. They are happy to assist you but why should I have to ask? They claim it’s because of COVID but I think it’s a cop out.
The hotel was modern and the rooms were spacious and clean. The price and the hot breakfast were definetly a plus. I was there to visit Disneyland for two days with my children. But unfortunately, the front desk staff are not very friendly and dont provide you with useful information like shuttle bus services and schedule for the area. Other than that, my overall satisfaction with the hotel and ameneties included was good.
The hotel is new, clean, good location, the staff is very nice. The reason why I’m giving 2 stars is the noise. Since its a hotel close to Disneyland, people stay here with kids, if you are on the bellow floors you’ll hear EVERYTHING upstairs, kids running, the staff cleaning the room, the insulation is HORRIBLE and the noise starts at 0630 AM since the parks open at 8. I would only stay here again of Im on the last floor of this hotel.
Noise was tolerable from the outside. However the noise transfer between the rooms is the worst I have ever experienced. Notified the person at the front letting her know we still had 3 more nights on our trip. She would “call later” to give us options. Never called. The breakfast was 2out of 5 stars.Room design and configuration are nice however could not justify with the noise transfer. Will not be staying here again. Pick the Hyatt on the corner.
Was our first time there. We wanted a place that wasnt too fast from a beach for us to swim in. 20 minutes to the beach but only 10 minute back because less traffic. The room was very clean, having a separate sleep area that can hold 4 others and then the king bed my husband and I slept in, could be closed off by a set of doors.Great size bathroom, nice closet, using the bathroom sliding barn door to cover the closet or close the bathroom off.Mini fridge, safe, two t.v.s and ac!Breakfast every morning and a dining pool and hit water spa pool with jets was so relaxing after getting thrown around the ocean! My most favorite part was having to not only use your room key to get into your room, but to get the elevator to go up and down and using it to get on and out of the parking lot. Felt a lot better about people not being able to just come off the streets and start roaming any floor level they wanted. We will definitely be using the hotel for another stay at our is also very close to Disneyland
Mirabelle the Manager is VERY disrespectful and NOT professional at all!!!!Not only she LIED and has the audacity to give us an attitude about it .She should get trained AGAIN on how to POLITELY and CALMLY assist and satisfy the customers no matter how young they are and what race they are !!!We will NOT be doing business again with you
Had the room with bunk beds. This is a good arrangement for families. I would have given 5 stars had the bunk rails not shaky (if you have restless kids that will be a disaster, hotel offered to have it fixed but we opted not to have anyone in the room during these COVID times). Overall it’s clean, modern and enough parking unless you’re very late at night. Boxed breakup hold your hunger down but not the best. One feature I also liked is the laundry facility (detergent coats $2.00 at the front desk. Has unassuming pool which guests clearly enjoyed. We had a comfortable and quiet sleep which is a plus
Imagine driving 6 hours from AZ, arrive at your hotel and being received with the worst attitude from the front desk employee. This lady’s attitude sucks! She had the worst attitude, kept cutting us off when we asked questions and acted like we were bothering her. This ruined my whole stay at this hotel. I won’t recommend at all and I’ll make sure pass the info to others too. Hey Hampton! Please make sure to do some reinforcement training on this employee, she needs it!
Loved my stay here I was here for 3 nights knew what I was going to pay when I got here, Parking here is $20 a night but that beats the fee of $25 per parking using the shuttle. If you walk down to the Toys Story shuttle you can hitch a ride to Disneyland free of charge. Its 1 block down Katella St. Breakfast was grab and go due to Covid but it was okay, cereal, eggs, fruit. Got me by just fine. Beds were comfortable got a good nights rest would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.
Overall nice hotel and very clean. The challenge during our stay is we requested housekeeping the second morning of our stay (as per the messaging in the bathroom) and were told from the front desk that they need 24h advance notice...which was not communicated via the welcome email, not communicated when you check in with virtual key, and also not documented in the bathroom. So we requested housekeeping from the front desk for the next day...and didnt receive it...when I checked with the front desk they had no record of it. As a customer I would ask that the 24h ahead be better communicated and executed in order to improve your customer experience.
This was disappointing. The rooms are new and comfortable, and that is where the amenities end. Breakfast was horrible, it would be better if it was not offered at all: watery oatmeal, stale cereal, black spotted & overripe fruit, and very little variation (overcooked eggs everyday) Parking ended up being $30 PER DAY with taxes, and the staff were less than friendly when asked simple requests, such as clean towels or a mask. They definitely have cut corners here and use covid as the excuse (no clean towels, no room service throughout your stay...) other guests were having to place their garbage in the hallway. Another warning: They charge a $300 deposit fee... yikes. Management needs to make some major changes here.
Room was clean. Mattress was not awesome. Take and go breakfast consisted of 2 hard boiled eggs, small bagel with cream cheese and yogurt. It was helpful to have it this way. Coffee and cream station was clean and stocked. Street noise may be a problem for some but we were used to it, so it didnt bother us. Bring earplugs if you are sensitive to cars passing by. Hotel itself was quiet, clean and updated.Staff was kind and responsive. Would definitely stay again. Great value for money as parking, breakfast and wifi were all included for the cost of the room.
Overall great accomodations. I was very impressed with the spacious room as it was a great fit for our family of 6. Staff was always friendly and always greeted us. The one thing I do ask is they have more towels available at the pool. But for sure we will be happy to stay again.
Overall our stay was comfortable per usual with All Hampton Inns we’ve stayed with our family, the hotels was able to accommodate us with a same day reservation for the night. I gave it a three star for this particular location two things. First one, we asked for our room to have a bathtub to bathe our kiddos comfortably. Front desk gal said “all of our rooms have a bathtub.” We noticed this was not true, but whatever we had a room we were exhausted from our drive, wasn’t a big deal. We checked out the next morning. We about our day, hours later we noticed our sons blanket was left behind at the hotel, my husband contacted the hotel, we were told nothing had been turned in, but will call us back within the hour, after they asked around. Long story short after a couple of phone calls, my sons blanket turned up. At this point we were extremely far to go back and pick it up. My husband was emailed some forms to filled out to be able to get the blanket mailed. He did so as soon as he received it. It’s been over two weeks and we haven’t received it, I have contacted the hotel, left msgs and no return phone call. :( believer I’ve tried looking for are placement blanket but no luck. Just be sure you are double, and triple checking for everything before checking out, you most likely won’t get it back. This experience won’t take away from us using Hampton Inn for future stays, but it’s very sad as a parent.
We had a great stay with family while visiting Disneyland. The hotel lobby and rooms were very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a short walk to Disney. There were several restaurants across the street (California Fish Grill, Habit Burger, Hawaiian BBQ, Jersey Mikes, Starbucks). Great place and location!
Stayed 4 nights, family trip. Place is close to beach and Disneyland. Hotel was clean, staff was very friendly and nice, it comes with a microwave and a mini fridge, very convenient when traveling with kids. The reason they dont get a 5 stars is the beds, they are very hard so by 3rd night our backs hurt, pillows also are very shallow, like not having a pillow. The breakfast is grab and go and there is the same option pre-package cold hard boiled eggs, a small bagel, cream cheese and a yogurt, not a fan of hard boiled eggs, but much less of a pre-package cold version. I would recommend this hotel if you are staying 2 nights or less. overall is a good hotel, and the staff was incredible nice, and polite.
Though we realize the restrictions you faced due to Covid, we were very disappointed that more effort was not made regarding breakfast. One of the reasons we are repeat customers (for many years, in many cities) to Hampton Inn is that we can rely on a good, hot breakfast to get us going for the day. In this case, the breakfast was exactly the same for 7 days in a row... hard boiled eggs, bananas, bagels and cereal. At your particular hotel, you have many families with children and no young child likes hard boiled eggs. Even with the inability to provide your normal hot breakfast (which we usually love), much more effort could have been made in this area. For our family, we paid close to $2,500 for the week and we were very disappointed in the breakfasts. There are many ready to go options (microwavable egg sandwiches, breakfast burritos, microwavable pancakes/waffles, etc.) that to see no variety being offered was very disappointing. In addition, I saw other families ordering Door Dash in order to have a decent breakfast in the morning. With the amount Hampton Inn charges for rooms, I would hope that management would make a bit more effort to provide as close to what we normally would expect as possible.
Well there really is know one to interact with. For the moment there’s no housekeeping, the breakfast consisted of a beagle two packaged eggs and cereal with milk. And of course complementary coffee at all hours over all the bedrooms were clean but had a strange odor from the linens. Our room had a microwave and a fridge at no extra cost like some places. 20 dollars a night parking. The walk to Disneyland takes about 25min or so.
Rooms are extremely spacious and very well put together the rooms are also very clean the breakfast was okay but it did the trick its about a mile walking from Disneyland and if you cant walk very far the Toy Story shuttle is in the parking lot next to the hotel just a little bit of a walk but very useful
Hampton Inn & Suites Anaheim Resort Convention Center is located in the bustling heart of Anaheim on Katella. The Anaheim Convention Center and Disneyland Resort is just minutes away. It’s the perfect location if you plan want to be near these hubs.Because it’s on Katella, there is a lot of street noise - including noise from the fireworks show at Disneyland (9:00 pm).Since Hampton Inn & Suits is part of the Hilton brand, you can use your Hilton Honors app to launch the Digital Key. This digital key allows you to enter the premises from the parking lot, to the hotel building, to activate elevators and to your room. The digital key also allows you to check in on the app and select your room. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi and complimentary breakfast. The hot breakfast was limited but it was decent: scrambled eggs, breakfast sausages (not the dinky ones), and skillet potatoes sautéed with bell peppers and onions. They also offered oatmeal, fruits, cereal, and drinks (coffee, tea, juices, milk, water). Our room was pretty spacious with the usual amenities. However, my only dislike is their shower! The shower tub floor is super slippery! I almost injured myself twice while showering! And they had the gross shower curtains. I much prefer glass shower doors but, more than that, I would rather have a safer shower tub floor than what we had.Overall, service was great. I don’t think I had to pay for parking. The lobby is very roomy. And upon check-in, the young lady provided us 2 bottles of water. If you don’t mind the slippery tub and outside noise, it’s not a bad hotel.
Perfect stay! Staff was awesome. They made us feel like our business was appreciated. It was clean & fresh! Our room was huge & definitely feels like its a brand new Hotel/Inn. Check in/Check out was a breeze. We had no issues during our stay. My Mother & I came for my Uncles funeral this time.. but the next time we come back to Anaheim (for a fun occasion), well definitely stay here again w/the rest of our Family. Shoutout to Breanna for the awesome/easy Check-in experience 😁.
Great service. Even though I paid for parking one day they easily reimbursed upon showing proof of spending it. Overall stay was great unlike when we received horrible experience while in Buffalo Ny. California was amazing and got 2 bottles of water every day (buffalo didnt give that either ). Pool was great as well.
Overall it was a positive experience! I would definitely stay there again. Only downside is their grab and go breakfast was disappointing. Same with the coffee. However, those are such small details. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, staff was very friendly and helpful!
The room was clean and housekeeping was friendly. The reason for a two star is because breakfast was just ok. There were not too many options to choose from. Another reason for a two star is once we arrived and were checking in, Citlali, at the front desk, was not welcoming at all. She seemed rather annoyed to have to help us. She must have been having a bad day.
Overall decent stay with a few issues. 1. Initial entrance for check-in is confusing because the entry is gated - I had to drive in the exit lane. 2. The lower level rooms are super loud due to the pool and close proximity to traffic. 3. The take away breakfast is unsatisfactory - normal continental breakfast should be back up and running - at this point you are just using COVID-19 as an excuse to cut cost and labor.
The nicest of the Hampton Inn & Suites Ive stayed in my travels. Courteous and professional crew working the desk on check in. This facility has been open about a year. Clean room. Good beds. My room was facing Katella Avenue and there is some street noise; ask for a south facing room if you want something quieter as it faces a Disneyland parking lot. Spacious and comfortable day and breakfast area. Breakfast gets the job done nicely. Its about a one mile walk to the Disneyland entry, thus this place is close to the park but would require some walking. Plenty of folks make the walk, which I see as exemplary. Id stay here again.
Very inefficient front desk. We lived there for 4 days and the fridge in our room is broken on Day 1. We reported this to front desk for several times and they mentioned to send someone to fix it. But till we checked out, the fridge was still not working. We had a 2 year kid need to have milk, fresh fruit, snacks every day and without a working fridge it is like impossible. This is so inconvenient for us. And the front desk couldnt do anything... This is the worst front desk I have ever experienced...
Very Satisfied! Awesome staff! We came with small children on a busy Holiday. We had a great experience! Best sleep ever! Good Breakfast! My daughter enjoyed a hot cocoa with marshmallows and special toppings for Christmas Eve. We were able to buy Disneyland tickets and transportation passes for the theme park at the front desk. Everything worked out perfectly! Thank you everyone for such an amazing time!
We are a family of four who stayed here for our first time last week. Our room had a king bed, a bunk bed, pull out sofa couch, a sliding divider to section room into two spaces, a microwave, a mini fridge, coffee/tea maker, 2 TV’s, bathtub, mini-desk… all the things we needed (and more). Everything was easy to book (we did it the ol’ fashioned way by telephone call. Checking in/out - easy! & every staff member was very helpful & kind. They gave us recommendations for where to go on our off-Disney day & location was great for a wide variety of restaurants. Good vibes all around. We took Uber/Lyft too/from park (easy!) Rooms were safe, clean, lots of space - our friend, a fifth person stayed on the sofa bed comfortably. Pool and hot tub were great - clean pool towels on deck, comfortable/shaded furnishings near pool. Biggest bonus was how helpful staff was when I came down with a head cold. They brought me medicine, hot tea, tissue boxes, extra pillows and blankets, bottled water, and even a hand written note wishing me well. That was so touching and above and beyond anything I’d expect. Breakfast was meh but as to be expected with Covid protocols making food service difficult. We picked fruit, bagels, and yogurt from the food boxes provided. Room service was available by request. Safes in rooms. Really happy with this place and would stay again and highly recommend. Thanks to everyone at the front desk for helping me feel better!
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay here while visiting Disneyland! The hotel is new and fresh and absolutely everyone working here are service minded and super nice. We walked to Disney (it is an easy 10 min walk). An extra plus was the breakfast (there was fruit and oatmeal so you could have a somewhat healthy breakfast which is not always the case in american hotels).Good value for your money - would definitely stay again.
My room needed a bit of cleaning (appliances, walls and switches), the walls are a bit thin (I could hear the neighbors 🕺🏽💃🏾) and some psycho, in the parking lot, laid on their horn several times in early hours. The staff werent good either. I called the front desk, for different reasons, and multiple times my calls were ignored.I was told by Antonio that the 5th floor was exclusive, yet on the last day of my stay I saw a raggedy blonde with drug-sparked eyes exiting the elevator onto the 5th floor. He acted as if hed done me a favor by assigning me to a top floor, yet the trash was given a room. They offer a mediocre breakfast, citing Covid-19 as an excuse. Its cold and cheap.Room 534.It is close to great restaurants and stores like 7-ELEVEN and CVS.Wi-Fi is included. Parking is not.
Its a new Hotel therefore everything still fresh and clean. Comfortable bed. I love their breakfast. You can have a really good breakfast here. They provide eggs. Sausages. Ham. Fresh made waffles. Oatmeal. Bagels. Muffins....etc...The staff are very friendly and helpful. For vacationers its not too far from Disneyland and its close to many good restaurants. I would love to stay there again.
Great hotel. Had king room with bunk beds and sofa pull out in separate area that could be closed off with large pocket doors. New place, very good breakfast, heated pool and large whirlpool/hot tub. Staff was all very friendly, easy check-in/out and convenient to Disney. Walkable, but we opted for the hotel recommended driver($10) for a quick 5 minute drive instead of an extra mile walking. Also has good dining a block away. Easy 5* compared to run down neighboring properties.
AMAZING HOTEL. We generally stay at low to mid level hotels and wow this hotel was the best we have ever stayed. Really nice, new, clean. BEST FREE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST EVER. Seriously. Great, friendly staff/service. Rooms were great. They were very accommodating and have good amenities. I wouldnt change a thing about it. Would 100% stay here again when we come back.
The hotel was average. There was no room service, so that was a negative point. Also the breakfast was not that great. Many Hotels are serving better breakfast. I believe COVIID-19 is just an excuse for not having the rooms cleaned and providing substandard breakfast. The cases are declining and many have been vaccinated., so there is no point of serving breakfast in a box and not offering room service.
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.They nickel and dime you at every turn. Food, parking, breakfast, and many other fees not told to you. They dont even do house cleaning. Had to live in a dirty/ sandy room all week. I paid WAY too much for this mediocre service.I had a reservation down the street at the Hilton express, would have saved $1,000 for 5 nights.Ill go there next time.
I stayed at this hotel 2 weeks ago. The place is new and clean. The breakfast is very good and the location is good. The staff were friendly and the house Keeping is very good. I was annoyed by 2 things in this hotel.1- parking.. you have to pay for the car park even though you are a member and I asked the front desk if I can use my points to pay for the parking and the answer was No can’t use it. I found it strange. There should be a promotion or discount for members.2- the air conditioning system.. why is it not central ?. It was a little bit noisy.
I want...no wait, I need the pillows from the bed. Clean, new, and awesome beds. Breakfast had many choices for all members of your family. The staff was top notch and super friendly. I would recommend the Hampton Inn to anybody. Lots of restaurants within walking distance.I stayed for a business trip but would like to bring my family next time, and most likely will book again when it comes time to brave a Disneyland trip.
Very nice place to stay for a family vacation. I booked the king room with bunk beds with pull out sofa bed which was very comfortable. The place is only 6 month old very clean and organized. Complimentary breakfast, outdoor heated pool, fitness center and laundry makes it feel welcoming. The staff were very professional and friendly especially Gorman and Tony were amazing and they went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable.
Im am currently staying at this Hampton Hotel while visiting for Disneyland and it has been one of the best hotel stays Ive had. Greg set us up with our Disney tickets last night and was the BEST. He gave us the information we needed get my autistic son set up for a smooth visit, Got is some snacks and left us feeling even more excited for the next day. The pool is nice beds are comfy and rooms are clean.
The Inn was being renovated after water damage when we stayed in early January this year (2019). The staff did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. Our apartment was well maintained and kept clean throughout our stay. We had a lovely view towards the mountains as well as being able to watch the fireworks at Disneyland each night from our balcony.
I stayed her for 3 nights on a Disneyland/Birthday trip the two women at the desk that checked me in was really rude. my room was not cleaned properly the toilet seat had urine on it when I spoke to the hotel manager Anthony he barely offered me $60 off only the first night. And did not want to do anything better.. this hotel does not care to satisfy there guests at all. WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN.
Hampton Inn off Katella is a great hotel in the Orange County corridor. Great location for us, since we frequent the American Sports Center often. Close enough to Disneyland but still a little distance away. The hotel is clean, probably since they just opened in January 2019. The rooms are modern and spacious. We had 2 double beds and a pull out sofa. Spacious floor area and comfortable pillows. Lots of closet space and plenty of towels. Our room had a small sink, microwave and small refrigerator.Breakfast on Sunday opened at 6am. They had eggs, Turkey sausage, tater tots and 4 cook your own waffle makers. You could also choose Breads, muffins, yogurt, fresh fruit and oatmeal. Juices, teas, coffee and hot chocolate was available to drink. Good breakfast, and its included!Lastly I wanted to mention that the staff is really friendly. It seemed like all the workers genuinely greeted us. Multiple house keepers Interacted with our 8 month old grand daughter. Everyone there made us want to come back. Hampton Inn is a great choice in Orange County!
The staff from the front desk to housekeeping were great and friendly. Our room was clean and food for breakfast were super tasty, sumptuous and filling. They let us checked in early since we arrived a bit earlier than our schedule. Later in the day after we checked out I noticed I left my airpods in our room and called the Customer Service right away. They found it and send me a link where I reported my lost item. We were about to fly back home so they just send me back my airpods thru mail. Im so happy and grateful I got it back. Its my sons Christmas gift for me.I highly recommend this hotel...excellent in all levels.
I would give them 5* for their excellent care in my case considering I had a cancelled flight on the way to Anaheim. Christie in the Sales office helped us a lot and rebooked us without extra charges due to our delayed international flights. Thank you Christie and Hampton Inn!The hotel overall is great, the rooms and the lobby are spacious and clean. My only advice would be to slightly upgrade the breakfast but other than that it was great.
Way better than it should be for the rate.Im Definetly going back. This was the general feeling among all of the guests I talked to during the week we stayed there.Beautiful building, beautiful spacious rooms, comfy beds, awesome, fun and helpful staff.Awesome LARGE outdoor pool and spa elevated on the 2nd floor above the busy life.We loved the available separated room with bunk beds and pull out sofa bed for the kids.Sofa was comfy too! Did I say AWESOME yet?
Many options to stay near Disney I picked this hotel , I get extremely nervous Everytime i walk into a room not knowing if its going to be clean or dirty right when I walk in all I can smell and see is a very clean room beds are comfortable, breakfast was warm and delicious , the bathroom was very clean as well thats a plus , the pool was amazing , clean lobby , just everything was clean and new very happy with this hotEl definitely wouldstay here again
We were in town for a National Weightlifting meet. It wasn’t a bad walk (.6 miles) to the convention center and worth it for the cleanliness of the hotel and hospitality of the staff. Serena and Antonio were especially helpful, although we didn’t meet an unfriendly employees the entire 6 days we were there. I would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it!
Loved our stay! The staff is super friendly...I believe the gentleman’s name who check us in was Ivan and he was so nice! Everything is so clean from the hotel it’s self to the rooms!...We also loved the pool patio and the breakfast was great with a wide variety! Can’t wait to come back 🙌🏽
They are still accepting reservations at this hotel but expect it to be closed when you arrive (see picture of the notice on the gate).Due to low occupancy resulting from COVID they are redirecting guests from multiple (sister) hotels to the one noted. Unfortunately this is a much older hotel, and with this business practice of colocating guests, way too crowded to be safe during this pandemic. I highly recommend booking elsewhere.
New property with a few of the new kinks still being worked out. Great staff! Bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Automatic light kept turning on whenever you walked into bathroom. A bit shocking for a middle of the night visit. Odd considering there was a night light in there. A/C wall unit control didnt work. But it worked on the unit itself. The unit was very quiet and worked well.
New hotel with nice fixtures and amenities. Not a bad walk to.Disneyland. Only bad thing was kids running up.amd down the hall during miffle.of night and had to call front desk. Also, we got a knock on our door at 2 in the morning from security and housekeeping wanting to deliver something. It was the wrong room. All the front desk person could say the next morning is sorry
Very nice hotel, walked in to find my name on a plaque, as guest of the day, even gave me two beers to go to my room and a big bag of candy that Ill probably give to my girlfriend. The hotel itself is super nice, very modern, nice accommodations, and free breakfast, that is always a plus. Really need ceiling fans ftw.I would definitely stay here again when in Anaheim.
I only have good things to say about this place . Its clean, free Wi-Fi, has a pool with accessible lift and a simple breakfast is included. The staff is super friendly and the hotel is close to just about everything. A special shout out to Antonio for going the extra length to help us with extending our stay since we have a member in a wheelchair.
The rooms are very small so there is not a lot of space. What is so annoying is they have the audacity to charge Diamond members for bottled water. Cheap bottled water they pay .12 cents for. This is ridiculous. And when I complained I was informed they have water in the lobby. We will not be back.
You have to pay for parking and I was promised a suit with a living but was refused when I got there that I was getting one. The rooms have horrible draw space and this has been the first hotel that I have ever stayed at that does not have a bible. I will not be returning here ever again!
Very poorI have a hotel confirmation and I did my reservation two weeks before and when I arrive they told me that us no room available and sold outI told them and show them my reservation but they didn’t give me a roomIts 2 am in the morning new year eve with two kids and no room for me

2022-06-25It was our first stay at this hotel. We came for a family Disney vacation. We are very impressed and happy with our stay. Breakfast had so much variety and changed every morning. Very clean and the staff was nice and helped with whatever we requested. We took the toy story bus which was about a 3 minute walk from the hotel. The pool and hot tub was nice also. We will be staying again!

2022-06-24Overall we were happy with the hotel. The staff was friendly .Rooms were clean. It is next to The Disneyland parking lot that made it nice to ride the shuttle .That was a big plus. The one issue we had was breakfast. It ends at 9:30. They start putting it away at 9:15 and stop stocking it at 9:00. And are not lenient or friendly about it. Flat out they shut the doors at 9:30. Overall I would recommend just dont be late for breakfast.

2022-01-26It was a very nice stay experience for a family of 5 in Jan of 2022. Decent free hot breakfast, extremely clean hotel with helpful staff. I agree with other recent reviews that this hotel was either new or recently renovated. My room did not get cleaned daily and self-parking was $24 a day.

2022-03-19Came here for spring break and this is one of the best Hampton inn’s I have stayed in the room was very clean and the beds were comfortable and the hotel staff was very friendly with their service. Also the breakfast was very fresh and hot and the property it’s very close to Disneyland you can walk or take the shuttle. And there’s a lot of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Also the hotel is very secure and safe. I will definitely come back here on my next visit!

2022-04-05It was my first time staying here. I loved the location of it. It was right next to the Toy Story parking lot. We walked to that parking lot and got on one of the Disney buses that took us to the parks. The rooms were very nice and clean. The breakfast was decent. I did think it was kind of dumb how the breakfast staff had to get your plate for you. I guess California is still paranoid about covid. Also, being a Hilton employee, I was told by some of my coworkers who had stayed here before that they would comp the parking fee everyday and I asked them and they didnt. Being an employee I had to pay $24 a day for parking, they charged me $20 for one day. So they gave me $4 off one day and that was it. One of my coworkers had stayed here twice and they didnt charge her for parking since she was an employee. My assistant GM said if they arent sharing a parking lot with another business they arent supposed to charge team members. They have their own parking lot and charged me...

2022-01-17Maybe I should go 5 star? But if its not perfect should it get a 5/5.... the hotel is nice, the staff is nice, the amenities are nice... not much wow factor. Hilton still hasnt fixed the ability to give a reciept for a purchase. - the room card to go anywhere is a nice security feature and I really dig the phone key option too. Breakfast is great-being that they offer one, scrambled eggs are.... plastic-y (youll see what I mean) oh! And the energy saving measures they use are great for the environment and kudos, high 5, 10 out of 10 - BUT I hate that the lights cut out on me in the middle of the night while Im reading.... i will def be back, probably, Im sure.... most likely

2022-05-03Really nice Hotel. Very clean, the room was very comfortable. The pool, gym, laundry, lobby, terrace and rest of the amenities are very spacious and well maintained. Will definitely come back. Location is another plus, minutes from Disneyland and other places of interest.

2022-04-09Hotel is clean, lobby is nice, employees friendly, breakfast is good for the price of stay, room is very nice for the price. Bed is firm, plenty of soft clean pillows(you get 4 each bed with an extra 2 in the closet). Sits really close(not across the street) but within walking distance to Disneyland(price of room is very very good to be sitting this close)- compared to $800-1000/day Disneyland hotel. What kills you is the taxes and extra fees(shame on you city of Anaheim). Plus paid parking $20+(deduct a star).

2022-02-19Very close to Disneyland and in walking distance from restaurants, shopping, convenience stores. This hotel is extremely clean. The staff that I interacted with were all extremely friendly and accommodating. The only thing I would improve on is the options available for the complimentary breakfast.

2022-01-22>The place looked and smelled clean.>No kitchen at this location. I should have triple check on this feature than relying on hotel booking filters. Mini fridge doesnt get cold.>Traveling with an infant we requested for a more quiet room but instead we were assigned in a room right by the street that gets pretty loud.>Free breakfast is nice but will rate it 2/5. We went down at 0630 and got cold tater tots. No waffles during this visit.>once you checked out and return the room key. Get a ticket to be able to get out of the parking lot. We were not given one by the frontdesk and had to go back.>$215 a night was a pretty hefty price to pay given the experience staying at this hotel.
