I am really happy with my experience with Hagins. Communication was clear and friendly from the first call. The work was done in the time frame established, and I felt that they tried to find the least expensive solution to my issues. This was our 60,000 mile major check up. They performed The job quickly and the price was right. They also explained everything thoroughly what they were doing and what they found so we feel that we can trust them with future service.
Andy was absolutely wonderful. I had called around to a few other establishments who were pretty rude and not very helpful which can be pretty frustrating when your only form of transportation has been compromised and you don’t have a license in mechanics. Anyway, I called Hagin’s to explain my car situation as best I could. Not only was he patient and understanding, he was also very efficient. He was able to work on my car as soon as I had it dropped off and, luckily, resolved the issue. If I ever have problems in the future, this will definitely be the first place I call. Prices were reasonable as well. Thanks Andy, your work is appreciated !
I only dealt with Jeff. He was very helpful and friendly. The job was set for two days after going to the shop which pleased me. The job was completed in the expected amount of time and going to Hagin’s for my first time was an excellent experience. I plan to use them when I can in the future.
Andy Hagin has been maintaining our vehicles since he opened his shop over 20 years ago. Although he has retired, the shop he opened retains his name, and the professional staff and spot on analysis of what our vehicles need have allowed all our vehicles to travel the roads safely. If you love the vehicles you drive, Hagin’s is tops at maintaining them in tip-top condition.

We’ve been using Hagin’s for a few years now and I am always happy with their service. They are very clear about what needs to be done, the priority of the issues, and how they can help. They have been flexible when I’ve needed last minute help or staying open for 10 more minutes so I could pick up my car. I feel like they know me and everybody I’ve talked to has been nice, polite, and given excellent customer service. I absolutely trust them with my vehicles.

I had a brake light that needed to be replaced. Stopped by Hagins on way home to make and appointment. I discussed the situation with Andy, he grabbed a bulb, went out to my car, he replaced the brake light, and I was on my way. Unbelievably wonderful. My appt on 7/24 was my first time at Hagin’s. Honestly, I don’t know why I never had my car serviced here before.Andy was very professional and courteous. Explained what need to be completed on my 9 year old car and was spot on regarding the completion time.Now I know why they are a local legend. I will definitely have my car serviced here again!
Hagins is always our default mechanic for any and all automotive repairs. Their honest and caring approach is refreshing, and their work is always quality and timely. They are the type of mechanic that people are always hoping to find.We have been using Hagins for about 20 years, and they have maintained our cars, extending the life of our cars by years. My Dodge is now 12 year old, and drives like it is new. I may dislike the cost of normal maintenance, but I have found that it pays for itself in the length of the life and performance of a car.

When W&S sold the business I went to Hagins and have found Hagins to be very professional and reasonable. It’s been about a year now and I highly recommend them. I had a great experience with Hagins. The motor on my car was running a little rough. I took to Hagins to have them perform a valve adjustment. The engine runs a lot better and the car is happy. The service was very fast as well. I brought thevcar in and it was delivered by the time that was estimated. I was delighted with the service and will return to this business in the future.

This is an exceptional shop. Warranty repairs were noted as being needed and scheduled and completed immediately, with the cost of an oil change comped due to the inconvenience of my having to return. Hagins goes above and beyond to provide outstanding customer service. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to my friends and family. The Shuttle service is outstanding as well. All around, a first class operation.Update: I posted the above review a few years ago. The shop continues to impress as putting quality first, and the customer is definitely treated like a king or queen. You really cant go wrong with Hagins. Straight talk and reasonable costs. Hagin replaced the starter on my Honda CRV. I hadn’t even made an appointment to have my car worked on. It was last minute, but they were very accommodating. As a female, there is always the nagging fear that you’ll be taken advantage of, given the run around, or talked down to by mechanics. I never felt any of that from the folks at Hagin. Just good people doing the lord’s work of fixing other people’s cars 🙏🏽

My experience with this shop is nothing but positive from Jeff, Norma and Andy (owner). They are all very personable and knowledgeable with what they do. Prices are reasonable as well. Andy took the time to help me and accommodate all my last minute request. If you have a Toyota, bring it to his shop if you need a repair/maintenance.
I have a modified Toyota and I like people to take the extra effort to do proper service on it. Andy’s shop is well run, clean, and the staff is friendly, and they do a great job. Will definitely be coming back here for all my Toyota maintenance.

Great experience. Needed head and taillights replaced on my way out of town. 15 minutes from the time I rolled in to the time I rolled out. No charge. Owner and staff were friendly and approachable. I have a feeling if you are too, he might just cut you a deal.
Jeff was great. He was friendly and smiling over the phone, great phone voice. I was able to get the car in that day (battery was dying). Jeff was very conscious of the current contactless interactions, masking, and social distancing. There were 2 useable chairs in the waiting room and the rest were tied up in front of his counter for distance. He took my keys in a rag. When I went to pick up my car, he kept the credit card machine immobile on his side while I inserted my card. After he cleaned my keys in a rag, he opened the rag and had me pick it up from the rag. He handed me the paperwork w no signatures. All this without us touching hands! Like all mechanic, he recommends other work to be done. Which can be good and bad. I didnt go for the other work. Overall, a good experience.
Andy was fantastic and fair. He worked late to make sure my truck was serviced before the Thanksgiving break. Guy did great work and Norma was also very friendly. Love my hometown Martinez!!

We have been coming to Hagin’s Automotive for quite some time. Hagin’s followed all of the COVID-19 guidelines helping to make things safe for their employees and their customers. We were taking our car in for an oil change and check over and we received a call from HAGIN’S Automotive that we needed two new tires. In spite of the busyness of the day they were able to juggle their schedule and get our car over to another shop to get two new tires put on. We had our car back at 5 o’clock, right on time. The best. Pesonable knowledgeable. Will always make your car whole again using the least expensive path to that end. Before they recommend the expensive stuff theyll do the most reasonable thing first. And I love that red jeep. Great pick up and drop off. All in all a good experience.

Hagins Automotive did a super job with my Prius C. I needed a trustworthy shop, and my friend Bill Stayner recommended them. They had to take my car apart to get to what was wrong--sleuthed it out (broken fan) and fixed it. They also looked over the rest of the car to see if it needed anything else, and let me know what kinds of things were ok now but would need looking at in the future. They kept me up to date on what needed to be done, and even better, they called my friend and explained it to him, too, because he understands car stuff. I recommend them highly.
Quick call regarding a service light on after some head work. Needed to replace some sensors and wire harness. Andy wasnt going to charge labor to repair, but this fix wasnt pay of the original work. Nice to see such an honest shop. Needless to say it was quickly repaired for a more than fair price. Im a customer for life!

My friend and I were on a road trip for spring break and my check engine light came on and although the staff and owner were swamped they went above and beyond by taking the time out of their busy schedule to check my car anyways. Being 25 years of age and not knowing anything about cars, it was extremely satisfying that they took the time to ensure my trip back to Oregon was going to be fine. Dealership skill level without dealership B.S.. Andy and his staff are knowledgeable and give you options and make you feel like they are honest. Not just chasing more profits or commissions. They stand behind their work and offer shuttle service if yoy.need it. Not the cheapest shop around, but the best value around. You will not have to question if they did the job right.

2022-06-25Went to Hagins to get a new plug for my oil pan because mine was leaking and chose Hagins after Googling mechanics in the area & reading the overwhelming number of 5-star reviews theyve received.It was a busy day for them and I just walked in around noon to inquiry about getting my car serviced & they very kindly squeezed me in & even gave me a ride back and forth to my house via their own shuttle while waiting for car to be serviced.The staff & technicians were all friendly & knowledgeable & car was done within a couple hours. No complaints, they were very accommodating.

2022-04-08Making an appointment is quick and easy, I was able to get an appointment for the next day. Checkin was easy and I was offered a courtesy shuttle to work. I was kept informed of the work being done. Vehicle was ready when expected. Excellent workmanship and friendly staff. Another great experience!

2022-05-06This was my first time at Hagins. It was easy to set up an appointment by phone, and Robert was very friendly. He also checked me in. A nice surprise was a free shuttle ride to my work in Martinez. They did quite a bit of maintenence work, and the price seemed reasonable.

2022-06-22I have been going to HAGINS Automotive for several years. I have had a Toyota FJ for16 hrs/149K miles. It’s been a great, reliable vehicle and I attribute this to HAGINS. Their personnel are very professional. They explain what work needs to be done and why. They’ve shown me the old/warn-out parts next to new parts, very informative. They do a good job of inspecting the vehicle to prevent break-downs on the road. I’ve had no break-downs, (I follow their maintenance /service recommendations). Their charges for services are reasonable and fair. I trust everyone at HAGINS and I have family that uses HAGGINS also.

2021-11-10Easily scheduled appointment online. Left the car in the care of Robert @ 0900. Received the call at 1:30 telling me they may not have it done until the next morning! After jumping through some hoops, Robert and the team were able to complete the job by 4 p.m. YAY!Car is happy. Im thrilled that the noise is gone. It is good to find an auto shop I trust to keep my car running so well, even with the high miles on her. Really, Hagins always does great work for a great price.
