Great owner, knows customer service and doesnt try to cheat you. You will never find a more honest mechanic. I have been bringing my vehicles for over 30 years when it was formally called Hocks Honda . Dont take your Japanese vehicle anywhere else.
Wonderful service! I explained the issues I was having with my vehicle and within the next 24 hours, the problem was resolved and they were able to provide me with more information on their diagnosis. They were also extremely generous and did the inspection and minor maintenance gratis. I will definitely be using them again for routine maintenance to my vehicle.
Ive taken all my Hondas to Jimmy for decades once warranty expires. Ive recommend whole lot of people to service theirs also. I honestly believe the shop is 100 percent better than a dealer..
H&H motor have been my mechanics for a few decades..problem always fixed..and if james cant do it he will tell you to go to the dealer...he is super trustworthy and most of the time if you can describe the problem he can tell you immediately what he thinks the problem is..you never need to worry about unnecessary work..if you dont need it he wont try and sell it..Toyota and my 2 acuras go there on a regular basis for service. This man is great i would recommend him to anyone
Always take my car to get an oil change here. They are honest and very efficient. They seem to only deal with Japanese cars, but that works for me.

Very satisfied with the service and the honesty of the mechanics! Will definitely go back for any car services from now on. I switched from an acura dealership after they recommended me very expensive replacements. But H H did the same job with a much more reasonable price and even avoided me an unnecessary one. Btw they do get busy from the morning so be prepared. I think the service is worth waiting for.
Love this place. The owner is a very honest and kind mechanic, which is so hard to come by. Ive been there 3 times. Once got a catalytic converter for less than 400, side view mirror for 120. Someone tried to break into my car and messed up my passenger door to the point that I cant lock it. They fixed it for free. Youre never gonnna get service like that anywhere.
Excellent service. Very honest. Does not try to take advantage of the customer. Non-pretentious business. No frills. I do not trust anyone else to repair my car. Have been taking my car there for over 11 years.
My Honda was towed and was at the shop for three weeks, no one called to let me know what is going on with the car. I called the second week and spoke to James he said he had to call an electrician to come and look at the car, which is nonsense. By the third week no called and I had my car towed away from the shop. I have gone to this shop over the years and have never received this type of service. Very disappointed and not recommended .
I have been taking my cars to Hocks for over 20 years. Best mechanic in the City of Alhambra. I trust him with my cars and have referred family and friends to Hocks. We are all happy with their service.

Honest business. Very up front with costs and overall offers cheap prices. Love coming here instead of going to the dealership. Gets really busy throughout the week so Id recommend trying to get there early!

2022-05-13I was on a road trip and James saw my car right away given my time restrictions. He is very kind and well mannered, and has a no-frill garage. He diagnosed the issue and said it was fine to drive, and didn’t accept any money for the diagnostic. Honest, fair, and knowledgeable sums these guys up!

2021-08-31Honor and excellent services, we been having all our cars service with him for many and many years. We just recent asked him to do a checkup before a long trip and he changed oil and didn’t even charge us. He is a honor business around here. Hate to share this because it will busy a long line for us next time we bring in our cars.

2021-01-10Tired of spending too much at the dealer I sought out a local shop for repairs to my Honda Pilot and found HH Motor Service. Based on reviews I decided to give it a try..glad I did! Dropped my car off in the morning for an oil change and strange clunking sound coming from front. By early afternoon James called to say noise was made by something that needed a minor adjustment (which he did not charge me for!) and that oil change was done. Im almost positive the dealer would have charged me a ridiculous amount for the repair. James is a great guy running a great shop (: Telling everyone I know.. because good car repair shops can be so hard to find!

2020-08-29Cant say enough about this repair shop. Great place to get your Japanese car serviced and repaired. Honest technicians and very reasonable prices. They are Honda/Acura specialists but can work on pretty much any Japanese vehicles. You cant go wrong with H H Motor Service!!

2019-09-27I’ve been working on care for over 15 years, but with my schedule I have a hard time finding the time, to work on my cars myself. James is by far the most affordable and reliable mechanic I have found. I recommended him to everyone I know that needs a mechanic.
