Great location to shop & donate. If you take your time there are usually good finds and mostly reasonable prices. You do have to be mindful of your space and surrounding shoppers because not everyone keeps their distance. I usually move to a less busy section or leave. Great employees! Always very welcoming!
Terrible customer service. No one mentioned to us they were about to close as we entered and as we were walking up to the counter the person I believe was the manager loudly told us they were closing in seven minutes. She then locked us in the store while we paid and helped the cashier bag our items. Overall the experience made me very uncomfortable and I felt unwelcome in the store. I understand needing to close but making us feel like we were stealing or causing a problem was ridiculous especially when we were already walking up to the counter to pay.
You would need to go to this location daily to find decent treasures. A lot of times the merchandise is junk and/or dirty. With COVID going on, they restrict the amount of people to less than than the recommended guidelines. Plan on waiting in line just to browse the store. The location is convenient for drop off and the staff is usually kind. If there were more locations around, I probably would skip visiting this one at all.
I had 2 corduroy pants one did not have a tag the other was 6.99, after talking it to the back they told me the other pair was $17 😳 basically because I wanted it. They would not let me try anything on but told me they had a 60 day return policy, so I purchased the items and tried them on in the car, they did not fit so I went back in to return them and they told me it was only exchanges..... I shop at good will all the time and this was by far the worst experience Ive had
ATTENTION FUTURE EMPLOYERS: Do not work here!!!! The manager will treat you unfairly and give everyone the desired hours that you want or need to everyone else. She will ignore you and your requests. Theres also one employ that will constantly harass you and make assumptions about you as well. The store is also very disorganized, childrens books are always a mess, they dont sell comics, and if you think something is worth donating, good luck cause it most likely will be trashed or thrown away. This is an experience I had working there. I felt very unsafe and harrased there and im so glad I quit so ya dont go here. Its absolutely awful also the books that are for children that are hard back are 2.99 why oh well its up to the manager......
Books! Books! Books! And some other misc items. So happy this bookstore is back up and running! Came prior to covid 19 and got so many books for such a great price! The store is well organized by genre with lots of newer titles. I love the emphasis on it being a bookstore! Although they have small furniture and clothing items as well as children’s toys and such. Big selection of children’s books! Highly recommended!
One of our favorite Thrift Stores its at the very end of town, we try to hit it first before anything :-) cause we live in Anza. It always is clean and friendly staff has good prices and you find real treasures here. They have everything youll need at every holiday as well ( on each season)
Update: May 10, 2021Definitely not what it used to be. People are still nice but the merchandise is not that great anymore.Mondays = Military Discount 15%Tuesdays = Senior Discount 15%Love Love this store! The managers and associates are SUPER 🌟. They are ALL so friendly and helpfull... Prices of clothes have gone up though 😢.. on the other hand they have great prices on other things... Bathrooms are kept locked so if you need to go just ask any associate to please un lock the door for you... GREAT store.... they just need a bigger building.
Why are the prices so high here on hard goods? Pla-eze honor your community and lower your prices, get rid of the stuff. Honestly, why put so much stuff in landfills, when you could price items much lower so that your customers snap it up?!!? Do better for Temecula....
If you love reading but dont have much of a budget for new books this is an amazing resource to utilize but because the selection is controlled completely by what donations are received its recommended to check back often because theres no way to predict what will arrive on any day.
Worst goodwill I’ve ever been to! The men’s section barely has anything on the racks meanwhile in the back there are several racks with new clothing. I saw 5 employees just standing around not stocking the floor??? Don’t waste your time coming here to look at their overpriced junk
This place has really nice staff thats really helpful when unloading items into the store. Really good prices for the good condition items they sell. I love how they collect the books and help the local community out by selling them at low prices. Lots of unique hard to find items in this store that are truly worth it. Good location
Terrible customer service. Stood in line for approximately 30 minutes with a piece of single furniture got to the door and was turned away saying they wouldnt accept furniture after the attendant came out and saw me standing in line and did not approach me or other individuals who also had furniture that wanted to donate.
Price seem to be getting more and more outrageous! They get these items completely free and then are taking advantage of the location and local community by charging way higher than should be prices. These locations used be to a place for people to go that needed a deal to support your family, now you need to have 2 jobs just to buy stuff in there... Especially their black tag rip offs!
This store should have blue shopping bags with the Goodwill logo for the customers to use will shopping like any other store. I was accused wrongly of shopliffting for carrying my stuff with me. The staff should be more efficient offering customers baskets if they have enough instead of judging customers wrongly. My advice, dont shop there..there are no carts, small store and the staff will judge you wrongly even if youre a long time customer.
Agreed. Nice staff. But many things we saw were the same price as what wed get brand new in the store. For instance, there was a filthy 10 gallon fish tank sitting with the furniture. listed for $13.99. We had just been to PetCo that same day and saw the same size fish tank that we could have bought for just $1 more. Not evertyhing is overpriced like that. But some things are. We will be going back!
I bought some boots and less than an hour later wanted to exchange them for another pair and they wouldnt allow it. Apparently only clothes and electronics are allowed to be exchanged even though Ive exchanged shoes there less that 8 months ago. They lost all of my business.
This bookstore is small ,but convenient when looking for good used educational material for children,,have a nice selection of cookbooks,I rated them with a 3star because of falsely advertising a plate sitting in a stand, I asked how much it was, the lady told me but didnt say it didnt include the stand,,, and I said Ill take it, but when I finally got ready to check out, she said, it didnt include the stand,,,which I found disappointing because there wasnt a sign posted saying otherwise,,,so I did purchase the piece any way without the stand because I had been looking for a piece like that, that goes and sits in a stand,,,,and for these reasons I rated this Goodwill with a 3star, for misleading the public.
Why in the world would I want to take my items that are packed in a box, just to watch the employee dump it into a bin. As if the items that brought, are trash!!!! It is hard enough to donate items that we no longer need. It is even harder to watch my items being treated like trash. I think I need to look at other donation centers.
Husband and I donated some heavy furniture that is a DIY-ers dream. There was a young lady and a man working. The lady was very helpful and went to get a dolly and was helping us move the furniture while the man just stood there. I finally asked him if he was unable to lift anything and he said no. So I basically had to tell him to go help my husband. Not sure why hes there because its definitely not to work.
Anything with a brand name is overpriced. If you write that jeans are $7.49, then ALL jeans should cost $7.49. If you want to increase the price because of the brand, then it should be close to $7.49 not $24.99. Also, whats up with the baskets? Youd think theyd be able to afford carts with those prices.
Convenient location to donate stuff. Only media items and small housewares are sold here,l though. DVDs, CDs, books, small kitchen wares, etc. Small location in a tight parking lot, close to Interstate-15. Visit the Goodwill store on Murrieta Hot Springs Road for a larger full-service store.
No greeting no one at the counter then no customer service Im lucky I took my time putting my change away...then she gave me a sorry sound having a good day...you choose to work there unless its court ordered...but come on...a fake smile might of helped...but I did score on a lamp...

2021-10-06Stopped by because I saw they had picked of their used books when I searched Google maps.Pretty nice selection of books and they are grouped by category. I didnt see what I was looking for but I did pick up 2 vinyl records.Wish I would have known they gave military discounts on Mondays, but they give senior discounts every day.People were very nice. Small store...more like a boutique...but they have just enough selection and variety to justify a visit!

2020-08-27I came for the used books based on a search and reviews provided by Google Maps. I was pleased to discover this place. Paperbacks are priced at $1.99 and hardcovers are $2.99. Thats actually a little steep compared with my usual place, the Friends Bookshop at Fallbook County Library. Most paperbacks there start at ten cents. But that place has been closed since Covid 19 so I was grateful to find an alternative to top up my reading queue. This Temecula Goodwill is very clean and neat. A little hot and stuffy inside on a hot day (and most summer days in Temecula are hot). Nicely organized but there are no distinctions among fiction books and they cover a very long wall so set aside time to browse if youre interested. There is a small selection of other items besides books, including clothes, but I didnt pay much attention to them.

2022-01-07I stopped by for a lamp and scored one at a good price and excellent condition. It was right before closing so I didnt have time to browse the other items in the store. This store is a bit on the small side but very organized, clean and looks more like a little boutique rather than a thrift store. Got a glimpse some high end brand wallets/purses, will need to come back with ample time to browse next time.

2022-03-04Just like with any thrift store, you can get really lucky here. I found a super nice shirt (probably only worn once or twice) and it only cost me two dollars! I love this Goodwill. Their prices are great and they have some great stuff.

2021-10-16Checked it out based off of the reviews, but honestly was super disappointed. Everything I looked at was so over priced. The other odd thing was they had a lot of new store merchandise but it was all priced the same as if you bought it from the original store and it didn’t have a Goodwill price tag. For example, Halloween headband: $16.00? A pillow: $24.99? Sheets: $37.99? I might as well go to the original store and get it on sale or at a discount. They also had chipped/stained Starbucks mugs which I wouldn’t mind those issues but they were still $10? I might at well buy them new for $14. I didn’t understand this location at all. 2 stars because at least it was semi-clean.

2021-01-06Its as orderly as it can be and the lady at the register was nice. But they get 2 stars ONLY because it is so small and the selection sucks... unless you check back often, I dont think this location is worth frequenting.

2021-12-02Had a cart full of stuff I was going to purchase... After having shopped for a while in the store. I asked for a key to the restroom. I was then told that the restroom was not for the public and only for employees.Needless to say I decided to take my business elsewhere and not purchase anything... I feel if a business cant provide bathroom use while shopping they dont need money from customers who want to spend time shopping and buying products. Wish I could give 0 stars.

2022-03-30This store smelled so bad we couldnt shop. Either someone was having g stomach issues or they have sewer issues, it was gross.
