The Apes put on a chorus today, interrupting our 10am tour guide but it was awesome! Our guide was excellent. You can tell she loves the Gibbons and they are very well cared for. More people need to know about this place....it is just minutes from The Gentle Barn, which gets so much more traffic. The conservation of these endangered apes is so important!I will definitely be back again!
The Gibbon Center is doing amazing work to take the best care of the Gibbons. The Gibbons have a high quality of life and are extremely well cared for by knowledgeable people. The tour is informative. I also enjoyed sitting on a bench and observing the Gibbons.I would recommend a visit for all ages. Children, teens, adults, and elderly would all enjoy being in the presence of the Gibbons. It can get dusty, so I recommend wearing closed toed shoes.
I had a nice time watching the gibbons, especially when they started to sing. Its good to know that, despite their limited resources, theyre doing all they can to protect these endangered species. I hope they get more financial donors so they can keep this place open and expand to a bigger site.
Very interesting animals. Dont go when its hot outside, as theres little shade, and its just plain HOT up there. Kids will get a kick out of their singing and its a rare chance to see these rare animals up close. Your donations clearly help this place and its very unique.
The tour was great. You can learn a lot. Everybody is really sweet here and you can see that they love their animals. I would recomend everyone to come here !!You can tell that the animals are close to their hearts! Everyone is very nice and the animals are fine. On the tour which is free you also learn a lot. I can only recommend to come here !!

2021-11-13We got in on a Groupon deal for our Girl Scout troop and really want to support the Gibbons. Then we learned that they only get $2/person through Groupon :(Cute baby Twinky is only 1 month old today and will start swinging around on his own at around 3 months so you better believe we’re coming back for that!

2021-12-12Amazing place with the most interesting apes that make all kind of cool sounds, only thing that would make it better is a lil more time to check them out seemed to be cut short an hour

2022-04-10This is an excellent place. The monkeys are very interesting. When they all decide to sing it is an absolutely deafening cacophony, its incredible. They only seem to sing for about 15-20 minutes at a time however, so for the majority of your visit theyre likely to be quietly swinging from branch to branch or grooming their mate or children

2018-05-17Amazing place! So many gibbon apes and so cool to see them up close. We’ve been going for 10 years. If going on a tour go before 10am to hear the gibbons sing for breakfast. And every Mother’s Day weekend they have a breakfast with the gibbons fundraiser that is a can’t miss. Great for families and kids and totally worth the drive!

2019-01-26Definitely make sure that you come for the 10am tour! Lots of information that is both interesting and surprising to learn about the gibbons housed here. Also, if you get there when it opens, youll get treated to the chorus of gibbons song! Such a neat experience. Not to be missed.

2021-10-10The tour guide was amazing, it was very educational as well as awe-inspiring when all the gibbons began their “song.” All the gibbons were fascinating to observe and all clearly had their own personalities, so each enclosure was a different experience. I love the work they do here and supporting this place!

2017-01-13Went for a school project and didnt arrive until an hour before closing, but the staff were really nice and willing to help me get any information I needed. If youre a fan of gibbons or just want to mix up your weekend with the family, this is a great place to check out several gibbon varieties.Warning though: gibbons are known for singing and it can be quite loud, so be ready!

2021-10-01This is a must visit for anyone interested in nature. The director and the staff are very accommodating and informative. It is sad that we treat our nature partners with the same disdain and irresponsible manner as we treat out own species. I do not want to call them animals as they have a more intuitive and responsible attitude than the so called human .We need to support the work that the team does and the conservatory.Thank you for a memorable experience and the awesome music they provided for our entertainment

2021-08-20Great experience learning about The Gibbon Apes. The Director was our guide. She was very pleasant, very knowledgeable, and extremely interesting listen to as she toured us through the facility. Highly recommend a visit here.
