Worst customer service I have received in long time. I called about travel restrictions and spoke with agent Lidia, and she rudely told me that they have no information on that topic (even in US, the country they practice their so to speak business). Again, if you do not have that information available, you can kindly say so, but not with an attitude like she did.So rude and unprofessional.
I personally have not purchased a ticket for my self, but I have ordered many tickets for my family members and we have been using this agency for many years. They are the best out their. They will contact you with any changes. They always put us clients first witch is a +. May God bless them with their work. I recommend this agency.
We have worked with Gabriel Travel for 10 years now and have ALWAYS been satisfied with their professionalism, attention to details in our requests, ability to make our trips memorable and comfortable. June 10, 2016I am following up with some improvement of the service after our complaints to BBB, The owner Andrey Malko took this case under his control. Called me personally. Turned out to be a very nice gentleman. My international tickets were exchanged for $400 each which is an exchange fee and no additional charges. Andrey also sent vauchers worth $200 for future purchases. I am adding 3 stars because the issue was addressed and handled properly. Company can do a good business but it should improve their work ethics to higher standards and treat better their customers from the beginning.April 10, 2016Bad service. Prices for the services are substantially higher that they normally are.. You cant trust what they say - they hide the truth, play games with you, do not return calls, you constantly end up on their voicemails, specially if you need something urgent.I am in the process of changing my flight tickets, Called them 3 months in advance - Maxim said he is sending request to get an approval or feedback. It is 10 days passed - no answer. My phone calls not are not returned. I left a voicemail with the owner. Have not heard back. I will post an updates on this matter. The worst service I got ever from a travel agency in 25 years.
I know this agency since 2012. Nice and friendly people that do a great work. I would definitely go with this agency again! I am surprised to see all the negative reviews!! I got all my airline tickets here and everything worked GREAT!! Although when I called, a lady picked up who was a little rude but when I went there and got my tickets through another person he was very nice and respectful. I will for sure get my tickets through here again!
I had a pleasure booking my vacation to mexico with Marian. He was so kind and helpful, listened to everything I had to say and did everything he could to fulfill that. He even called the airlines and gave me an additional $250 discount off my package. Such a great gentleman, I will definitely book through Gabriel Travel and work with Marian again. My friend changed the date on the ticket. The company GABRIEL TRAVEL said it is necessary to pay the fee $450. Then, we had to be urgently and we paid that amount. After that, I conducted its own investigation and found out, that its only worth $ 202. We were shocked when we saw such a big difference. They stripped too much money. I do not recommend this company.I advise you to buy tickets directly from the airlines, because they are much cheaper. GABRIEL TRAVEL Company raises the price too high. A living example of other comrades flew in 2015, it turned out that he bought a ticket from the United States through the company GABRIEL TRAVEL. As a result, the ticket was purchased for $1,290, and the real price it was worth $1189.44. Now, you see a single person company has $ 100.56, and sometimes more, the price difference. This company is a monopolist in Sacramento. If you want to save money, do not contact this agency GABRIEL TRAVEL.
I use Gabriel Travel for 7 years or more. I can say only good stuff about this companies. I dont know why other people saying just bad stuff but i know how hard it is to deal with some airlines. They may change the price in ours not days and there is nothing i can do or travel agent. Before i call Gabriel travel i check price on line and then call my travel agent and they was 95 % cheaper then on line deals. Thank you Gabriel travel.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL.. rude unprofessional stuff ! Only called them to book my international flight because my friend referred me. Anyways...got my tickets booked after going back and forth with calls for 3 days. Then I found out that our names were written wrong !!! Called them back no answer left a message, no answer, txted the agent.. no answer!!!! Paid 4,500 for this flight and now how to deal with airlines my self to fix the problem!!! VERY VERY frustrating !!!!!

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM.We booked a vacation to Dominica Republic through GABRIEL TRAVEL. The worst service I ever experienced with Gabriel travel. We stayed at RIU Palace Punta Cana during hurricane Maria. Our flight got cancelled two days before flying out and no one bothered notifying us or rescheduling our flight. I had to reschedule my flight back my self and deal with the hotel to extend our stay. Honestly, they dont provide help when we need it. Our transportation service from the hotel to the airport got expired due to the flight changes and Gabriel travel didnt do anything about it until I had to tell them to reschedule.
I recently booked a trip with Maryan at Gabriel Travel. A few hours before my flight, I ran into some problems at the airport.... I reached out to Maryan who went above and beyond to resolve my problem. He personally got on the phone with the travel agent and cleared everything out. This was a Saturday evening (!), and Maryan took time out of his personal day to provide such exceptional customer service. I will gladly continue to do business with Maryan at Gabriel Travel!

The WORST travel agency in Sacramento area. Very unprofessional, rude, and out of date people work for them. Never trust their words and voice taped them when purchase packages over the phone. Id give less than 1 star if I could. I called on October 19th seeking assistance on a vacation for my kids and I to take to Hawaii. Here I am 10 days later, never having received the call back I was promised. 1st and last time calling them, for sure. I should have hung up the moment the phone was answered with an annoyed hello? rather than a professional courteous business greeting. Many thumbs down.
Great company, everyone is real nice their ticks are cheap this is my 6 time dealing with them no problem at all. They do the best what they can. But for dose who says they are mess top with your date thats yours fall you need to be more careful what you saying and check the days couple times
Bought from agent Maksim Nikiforov trip to Mexico.Before that we discussed all details including transportation from airport to hotel round trip.He told us that its not included and needs to pay extra $120.I agreed and he included this amount in total trip price.I paid the full amount he asked and when we came to Mexico the transportation company asked us to pay for trip to hotel.I tried to explain that we already paid for this and its money was included in total amount. fo our trip.The driver said that in their system shows that they not received any money from agency.I called to our agent Maksim Nikiforov and explain whats going on.He refused saying that this is not included in our price which is wasnt true.I told him that he was agreed with us before we made payment that is money will included in total amount.He refused and didnt give us back $120.Please stay away from this liers and find someone else who can treat you well.Thanks.
Last year I won a prize from Gabriel Travel on Ukrainian Fair in Sacramento, and this year I used the opportunity to travel to Cancun, which was perfectly organized by @Gabriel Travel.5* hotel was beautiful, with a separate sandy beach and wonderful sea view. Food, mmm food deserves a separate comment, five restaurants with different variety of food which is changing every day - made every visit to the restaurant a desirable adventure.The entire trip was planned very well, departure from SFO and then a pre-ordered taxi which brought me straight to the hotel. Airlines and travel time were just great, no delays, all comfortable and very timely.Thank you Gabriel Travel for such a wonderful trip!
Ive been using their services for years and have always been pleased with prices and customer service, referred my friends and have also nothing but good & positive experience. As long as you are clear of what you want and shop around, youll see that their rates are very compatible. Will continue working with this company without hesitation.
So upon recommendation from my friend I called Gabriel travel to help me with my trip to Canada before going to the agency I called and spoke to an agent there to ask if they could assist me with my trip to which she replied absolutely once I entered the agency I was not greeted by any of the five employees working there and once I was finally acknowledged the gentleman told me they only handle International flights to my knowledge Canada is not a domestic flight number one and number two when I told him that I had called and spoke to Elena about booking and she told me that I could book he then spoke to her in his native tongue and then she replied back to him and as well didnt acknowledge me although I was now very leery about booking with them I still waited after a few minutes of uncomfortable silence I let them know that I would come back and promptly left the building word to the wise if you are not booking a European flight do not bother going to Gabriel travel they have no interested in doing business with you
If you have nowhere to put your money, then you have come to the right place! We booked air tickets through this company. We had to reschedule or cancel the flight. It was not possible to get through to the employees, to finish writing. They kicked us back in full, with empty promises, rudeness.

To begin with, every time when checking in for a flight, the employees looked at me in bewilderment, since there was no information about us in the system and each time we had to transfer it, we had to enter it again. But the worst thing happened when it turned out, on the flight back to America, that one of my children was on another connecting flight, three hours earlier. There are no words to describe how we had to go through all this, but the child still flew alone (although she was a teenager, upon arrival she was kept in the room for emigrants for two hours and tried to understand how the child was alone). I believe that the amount spent on the flight (6.5 tons of dollars) is not small, but people do not take their work responsibly. I strongly advise not to contact this company and employees. Especially with the employee Maxim. Because of his fault I lost $ 900. He does not know how to work for the good of clients. He will do everything to deceive you. He advised me to buy tickets later as it turned out bad airlines, advised not to take insurance for tickets, he did not want to change tickets, said that it was not a problem, then we will change, and then I lost $ 800 for changing tickets. When I bought tickets, he did not give me Any information that I need to have with me from documents about Covid. I talked with other employees, they also do not have professionalism. Better use other companies and you will travel peacefully. I wish you all good luck finding the best companies.
Terrible digging !!! My flight was canceled a month ago, and the company didnt even announce the cancellation, there is no round-the-clock support and it was impossible to contact them! The airline support service said that the wine in this company in which we bought tickets, namely in Gabriel Travel

2022-04-04This is the worst agency that you can ever chose. If you think they will help you and give the best deal you ARE WRONG. They don’t care about you and give you the most expensive deals and they don’t give you enough of information. They don’t give any refund and don’t change your flights if you want to change your flight they charge a lot so if you bought your ticket from them and need to change just go to the airport and change it for free. Today I tried to call them and asked for the covid test I need for my airline because I needed to know what test (pcr or radip antigen) does airline asks. They picked up my call and said they will connect with other person I been waiting for little bit and they hang out on me then I called them again 4 times and they were just hanging out on me. I was at the covid testing place in line and I needed to know that information at that time. Also, this wasn’t just one bad experience with them. When I was buying my ticket person that was selling a ticket was helping another person at the same time. When I was asking him questions he was getting mad. Gabriel Travel has the most unprofessional people working there. They always mean and if you are asking questions about baggage or something else about the ticket you bought they are getting with like what do you ask me this?! ( I had a bad experience not just with one person)

2022-01-27Worst experience ever! My fight was canceled by airlines. I contacted airlines and they said I am entitled for a 100% refund. But I have to contact the travel agency for that. The day flight was canceled, me and my husband tried to reach Maksim, the agent that booked the flight. We left phone/ email messages, called multiply times. Nobody replied to us by this time. Today is a third day since flight was canceled. The russian speaking lady on the phone said that flight wasnt canceled, then she said that ticket is not refundable. She was rude and unprofessional. Then , when I requested to talk to a Gabriel Travel manager, she said that Maksim is a manager. But he is not in the office. The last conversation with her she said that I am not going to get any refund, and hang up.Unbelievable!! Even though airlines said we entitled for a full refund! By this time Maksim never replied to our emails and phone messages.Dont do any business with gabriel travel. !!

2021-04-26Worst customer service. In 3 months that I am dealing with them about my refund for a canceled vacation, I never receive a phone call back from them. Promised many phones calls back from the agent. Never happened. Days pass by until I have to call back and get an update. I am still waiting for my refund. Vacation canceled Jan 18th. Feels like they dont care about customers. As along as they make a sale and make the profit. Nothing on paper can be provided from them about the refund. Paid around 2k for hotel and 1k for flights. I did use the flights. Only promised 600$ back from $2000 I spent. The rest being some sort of hotel fees that I have no clue about. No invoice proof or emails explaining the cancelation fees. Hard to believe. I would like a brake down of all the fees being charged for cancelation.

2020-04-27I would give zero stars if I could. Our flights were cancelled by the airline due to COVID-19 and this agency refused to give us a refund. They kept lying that the airlines are not allowing any refunds. I called the airline directly and ended up quickly getting a full refund for the tickets (the airline customer service were surprised to hear that the agency refused to refund). This agency charged an extra $118 per ticket (for their services), which they also refused to refund and the lady on the phone kept lying that they did not charge this, even though my credit card statement said otherwise. Thankfully my bank was able to refund this. They also stopped picking up the phone when I kept calling a few weeks and days in a row to get a refund and they never returned the calls. I was finally able to get a hang of them by calling from another phone number. The lady on the phone spent at least half an hour yelling at me and calling me stupid for asking for a refund on a cancelled flight. Is this any way to treat a customer? My family will never book with them again. Please save yourself the headache and STAY AWAY from this horrible travel agency!!! Most of the positive reviews on here seem fake and written by their own workers.

2019-10-02Do not buy tickets from this company. They made an error and blamed it on Delta. The trip for my whole family was cancelled. Nobody bothered to inform us, it was the most horrible experience in my life. After contacting Delta for some explanation of discrepancies made in booking of the flight, they sent me the detailed explanation of the reason why I wasnt able to get to my destination: Thank you so much for contacting us in regards to your recent trip. I recognize your dissatisfaction with the error made with your booking, not receiving any notification and the way things were handled for you. I tried to reach you by phone but was unsuccessful and wanted to respond as quickly as possible.After careful review, your travel was booked by a Travel Agency and it appears on June 6, 2019, the same day they made your reservation, an error was made and they cancelled your return flights. I realize you wouldve preferred to be informed, but because your travel was booked by a Travel Agency and they had control of your reservation we were unable to inform you of the error made. I wish things were handled differently for you and things were fixed before your trip........Thank you Gabriel Travel for screwing me over!

2017-02-08I have used Gabriel travel services on several ocassions. The best price that u can find for hotels and airfare. Furthermore, the customer service is excellent; the travel agents are finding deals fast and its always easy and a pleasure to work with them. I worked with Marian on several occasions and with Ben recently for my upcoming trip to Japan. I received quality service, a great deal and an awesome customer experience.Kudos to u guys and thanks a lot!;)

2019-06-14Beware of Gabriel Travel! They booked our flight on two separate tickets without informing us about it and it caused so much stress and almost led to $1,000 in lost flights.Heres what happened.1. MISINFORMATION. We were booking a flight to Russia. Our travel agent M. sent us a potential itinerary with a tight connection, which we were a bit concerned about, so we asked M. what would happen if any of our flights were delayed, and M. assured us that it would be okay, as it was the responsibility of the airline to rebook us on the next available flight. Satisfied with his answer, we spent an extra $200 to book the flight directly with him rather than doing it ourselves because we wanted the peace of mind that comes with a single-itinerary booking.2. AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR. What a mistake trusting M would be. What happened later was this: the flight for the first part of the journey was delayed, and so we werent going to make it to our final flight, which was under another itinerary and therefore NOT the responsibility of the airline to rebook. After I finally managed to reach M. to change the last flight, he was very aggressive as soon as I explained the situation. He interrupted me to explain his side and at one point I thought he would just hang up on me.3. LYING. He claimed it was not his problem because he had warned us the flight was on two separate tickets. This is totally false. Both my mom and I were on the phone during the booking process, and at no point did he mention separate tickets to either of us. Ive traveled to over 30 different countries and am a seasoned traveler, so I would NEVER have agreed to a booking of two separate tickets when one of the layovers was just 1 hour.3. POOR JUDGMENT. When people book with travel agents, they rely on the agent to make good judgment calls about itineraries, and this did not happen here. In fact, M. should have done his research and he should never have even offered the itinerary he gave us. Heres why. The itinerary he created had a 1-hour connection in Amsterdam. If we didnt make it on that connection, a simple flight search shows that the next available flight would have been too late in the day for us to make it to the last leg of our trip. And while we didnt know this, he DID know that last leg was on a separate ticket. Essentially, $1,000 worth of tickets for the second part of the trip hinged on making that 1-hour layover. Would an experienced travel agent ever recommend a client such a risky ticket in the first place?We called a few different travel agents and none could match the price Gabriel Travel did, and now we know why -- because M. gave us a very risky itinerary that the other agencies were too honest to offer. When I contacted the owner of the agency to explain the situation, he was apologetic about his employees rude behavior and he discounted $60 off of our change fees. He listened carefully to the whole situation and followed up with me via phone. Unfortunately, he was not apologetic about the tickets, the stress it caused us, nor did he acknowledge his employees incompetence. Instead, he claimed that we all experience stress in our lives and this is just something we have to deal with (and that it wasnt as bad as it could have been, eh?).Dont make the same expensive mistake we did -- find a travel agent who makes smart, sound itineraries that you can trust so you can start and end your trip stress-free.
