Super helpful for women but beyond slow to see the doctor even when it’s not busy in here! not sure why they have girls just sitting and waiting forever especially if it’s something quick. Hire more staff
I struggle very much with anxiety, and had a lot of nerves about getting an IUD for the first time. Miss Emily could not have been more kind and understanding. I dont think I could have managed to keep my appointment if it wasnt for her giving me encouragement and support. This perfect stranger let me hold her hand, crushing it a bit Im sure, reminded me to breathe, and gave me so much encouragement while I struggled through the appointment. I truly cannot say enough how grateful I am for her kindness. My doctor was also wonderful, very understanding and patient, and she actually suggested getting a nurse in the room to help keep me more calm. It was appreciated that she instantly noticed I was struggling, and her first thought was to get me some back up, some support to help me in whatever way she could. Its rare I come across a doctor that truly considers mental health, and takes care enough to be helpful and understanding, even if it has nothing to do with their field of work.. Overall I very much appreciate the way they handled my having a panic attack in the room, and the way the doctor talked to me and explained every little step. They both really went out of their way to help me, and make the appointment as easy as it could be for me given what I struggle with. I couldnt appreciated them more, and the overall feeling I got from every lady I spoke to in the office was kind and welcoming. For an incredibly hard day for me, it went as well as it could, and its because of the wonderful ladies that work here.
I am so pleased with the staff’s attention and service. The doctors explain every single detail and concerns I had. I feel at home ever time I’m there. My doctor called me the day after my visit to see how I was doing. Everyone is amazing!!!!!
The medical care providers are always very respectful, friendly, and helpful. I have had routine checks like pap tests done here and I like their cleanliness. They are professional to the full extent of the word.

The staff there is amazing. I went in for a procedure and I felt terrified before but they made me feel comfortable, helped me through the entire process and made sure to explain every step of the way. Unfortunately there are protestors outside, but they keep the blinds closed and keep a movie on so that you can’t hear them outside.
Staff was very welcoming and kind. They’re not judgemental and quite patient. I had an appointment originally here at 12:20 pm but had to wait at least 2-3 hours before I was called in. The only thing I dislike is their long wait times. However, everything else was great. I was pleased with my visit and how everyone was supportive and kind to me.
They are always so nice here and very helpful! I have never felt more comfortable with my visits until I started coming to FPA Women’s Health.
The nurses are always very nice and understanding. I have had really good experiences with their female doctors although there was a time when I was assigned a male doctor and he was a little insensitive. It was my first time going there for a yeast infection. I had never been examined before or been to a gynecologist so I was shaking and very nervous. He seemed annoyed telling me to be still and relax as he proceeded to examine me without much of a warning and seemed upset that my nerves were making the procedure more complicated. Outside of that I would say the rest of the staff is magnificent. P.S. Also, take into consideration that the incident with the male doctor took place two years ago, so he might no longer work with them.I have gotten Pap smears, birth control, infection treatment, STDs screenings, and other general consultations with them since I started going to the gynecologist. Because I am low income I was able to get all my consultations for free after doing some paperwork to see if I was eligible. I have never done walk-ins with them and scheduling appointments on their website is simple. Depending on the month you can often find openings for appointment in that same week.
If I could give less than one star, I would. I drove a long way to an appointment i made literal weeks in advance, only to show up and find that the service provider has “left” for the day... They had no intention of keeping my appointment, or even calling me to let me know. Completely unprofessional. Massive waste of time and resources.
They made everything quick and efficient. My wait was not long at all. My NP was amazing! Very kind and reassuring she went over all options with me. I would definitely return.
This clinic gives great care! Ive never felt so comfortable at any clinic until today. The girls are so nice and really pay attention to every detail. Ill see your ladies in a month for my follow up😊
The women in this office are kind, respectful, and maintain positive attitudes all while working in a difficult type of business! Trish is a fantastic treatment coordinator and she kept the mood in the entire building light and enjoyable - even during a very busy time of day. Im so thankful that they provide the services that they do! Birth control should be available to everyone, and they make it so easy and take the stress out of the situation.
The staff has always been friendly. My first couple visits were extremely long lasting over 3 hours for each visit. However, my last visit was very fast. Spent a total of 45 minutes including filling out paperwork. I did have an early morning appointment so I’m sure that helped too. I was there for an iud removal and saw dr. Joette and she was extremely helpful and friendly. I did not feel rushed and she answered all of my questions. She also explained all of the steps as she was working. Great experience!

My friend had come here and recommended I go there because I had said I wanted to get on birth control. First I called to see what I was covered for and talked to Trish, who was extremely helpful and figured it all out for me and then got me scheduled for that day. When I got there as it was my first time there I had to fill out some basic information which one of the staff members, Shaneka, then went over with me. I got a check up and an IUD, at each point the staff members went over what was happening and what it was for, and when I met with the doctor, Jolene, she talked me through everything and answered all of my questions. Overall it was a great experience and all of the staff were very nice and helpful!
Worst clinic wait ever there wait in the lobby after checking in was an hour then they take you back to ANOTHER WAITING AREA my appointment was at 9am wasnt seen for hours finally got out around 3pm and everyone waits this long. They have the same two movies playing the entire time. The only pro to this clinic is from what Ive seen there very clean and very nice. But I personally cant handle making a morning appointment and still having to call into work.
The Dr. Was awesome and the girl checking me in was great. As far as the rest of the staff... They sucked! The girl taking my blood pressure was just totally unfriendly and rude. She acted like she was put off bye having to deal with me.
They’ve definitely gotten better at wait times. I expected my wait in the lobby to be far longer than it was and I was prepared to spend hours there as with my visits in the past. The staff is still very welcoming and I felt good about my visit all around.
Been coming here for a couple years now for my womanly check ups and every visit goes great. Their staff is amazing and very helpful. They make you feel as comfortable as possible and offer many services! 10/10!
The staff exceeded my expectations by far. I could tell the office was getting backed up, but not once did they make me feel rushed or less important than the next pt.Staff:Thank you for being there and for being strong for the women who can’t find their strength. My first time coming here and I loved it . My waiting time was about 1 hour and 30 min . Includes my paper work that I needed to fill out and my check up . They are all very kind and didn’t feel rushed at all .

I am not one to write but I had to share my experience. I used to go to a place called Sierra health center it was the worst place ever. Ive had terrible experiences there that place made me sceptical of other places. I was told about this FPA womens health and left feeling comforted and satisfied. The workers are kind in their voice and manners and the Dr. Her name was Joette, I am 31 years old and havent met a Dr. Like her before. She makes you feel so comfortable. I had to share this for any women that have had terrible experiences at other places to please give this place a chance, you wont regret it.
I have to say that before going to this facility I was skeptical and scared after reading some of the reviews on here , but now I can honestly say that I am very happy/ relieved that I did go . The place is very clean , everyone was so nice to me , they answered all my questions, didn’t judge me and they made me feel cared for . The waiting was kinda long , but worth the wait because I was really satisfied with the care I received .
I went there to get my birth control switched out and UPON ARRIVING AND AFTER WAITING 30 MINUTES I was told we would have to reschedule because they dont allow children at procedures. Mind you i live 30 minutes away, work a full time job and theyre going to deny seeing me because i have my kid? Completely not ok and i will not be back to this place!

I went there today to get my IUD removed. They were judgemental about why I wanted it removed. Then the nurse [has blond frizzy hair, white] was a Nightmare! She made me very uncomfortable, gave No warning of when she would remove it. She said it was in wrong spot for 8 months! I started crying and she kept rudely asking why i was crying and i still dont understand why youre crying in a stern tone. For Gods sake she just told me she was Suprised i didnt have worse pain and that i could have gotten pregnant anytime and not know. How else would a woman respond?! On top of her ripping the IUD out of me. Ow! Terrible place. Please dont go there!
A very Professional, respectable, and caring place. The staff is well trained and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable with everything. I definetly recommend this place to my friends.

This place is awesome, I felt comfortable and the staff there were so very awesome even the lady from the call center where I made my appt. The only thing was it takes a bit too long.
Consistently kind caring comfortable and understanding. Everything you would expect to find at a womans health center. They go above and beyond for patients. There is a women there named shaneka who is especially caring and warm that ive been helped by. The facilities themselves are clean and well maintained as well.

My daughter went in for birth control implant and all went well. The only negative thing was it was a long 3 hour visit.
Well my girlfriend went in there for her first checkup and the doctor was just abrupt and rude. Left her waiting for 2 hours with an appointment. She turned away the birth control saying shes gay and the doc just said well you never know

I thought it was not a good clinic I sit in there 10am-5pm and didnt do surgery because the stuff was not even clean had old dried blood on what they were going to use and I stopped and did do it and one of the girl s work there held me in a room against my own free will to walk out and said no and held the door and would not let me out until til I pulled the door open and had to push her with the door out of the way to get out .....its wrong and the when I get home to take in the pain medication the pharmacy told me they couldnt fill the pain medication because the doctor that prescribed it ..that there license was invalid and need a current license number ....I dont think this pace should be open when things are so unorganized and not a clean place to be and should be check or closed down .....thank you Michele I dont even give it anything but poorness....
THEY RE-USE THINGS!!! I WAS THERE TO HAVE MY IMPLANT REMOVED AND THE DOCTOR TOLD ME SHE WAS GOING TO USE THE SAME TOOLS SHE USED WITH TWO OTHER GIRLS THAT DAY!!! I AM VERY AFRAID NOW. I WAS IN SHOCK AT WHAT SHE SAID.. I WOULD BE VERY AFRAID. I THINK ITS SAFER TO RIP THE IMPLANT OUT OF YOUR ARM YOURSELF THAN GET HIV OR AIDS ETC FROM THIS PLACE.
Dont go here if you want professional people giving out your info to people you know Ive had this happen to me and nothing was done about it because there was no proof on the internet smh. I should have took this way futher than just talking to the supervisor.
They were very helpful and informative with any and all questions I had during my visit.

I called the 1-877 number because I had a question and the lady just said yup like a care free person and I said okay thank you thats it and she just hung up on me like I was wasting her time very rude experience.

I was really surprised by the good service they offer, I was going through contraceptive patches and when they were there they offered to do a study of sexually transmitted diseases I told them that I was fine, the girl of the very friendly staff and the nurse who attended to me Grace was what prettier with me and at all times I try to help me by my language and in general the truth made me feel comfortable and in confidence I really recommend this place very much, everything was very clean

2022-09-01I had my nexplanon implant replaced today at this center. Overall it was an easy process. All of the staff were very professional and nice, and I’m so glad I came here instead of other places I was considering. My NP Linda was awesome and seemed super knowledgeable. She even told me that my previous implant was placed in the totally wrong location!! Scary stuff, but she reassured me the whole time and the procedure took less than 15 minutes. Unfortunately now I have 2 incisions to care for, but I recommend this clinic for everyone in need of care.

2022-07-23The medical assistant that helped me was so sweet! She was very helpful with any questions I asked her as well. I LOVED the Nurse practitioner! She was very aware of what she was doing and made sure I wasn’t hurt and that I left there with anything I needed including questions I may have had.

2022-09-16I had to travel after finding out our baby was a loss to have a procedure done. These women were top notch and held my hand the entire time and understood the decision was difficult and not what we had expected. They were caring and professional and made you feel like family. 2022-08-20I had a procedure done at this place 2 days ago. Although plans unexpectedly changed last second, I still chose to continue with my procedure. The nurses/cnas were SO KIND and CARING. They held my hands, reassuring that everything was ok, and wiped my tears. They went above and beyond their job title. I felt safe and cared for. 10/10 experience. From the front desk associate to the doctor! Oh yes, the doctor was amazing as well. Very, very compassionate people here. ❤️

2022-07-21These ladies are amazing. I don’t think they get enough recognition for what they do for women health. They were so short staffed and busy when I went in for my appointment but they were all still so friendly and hospitable. They made sure to offer snacks and water and apologized multiple times for being so busy and the DR was also very lovely which is rare in healthcare sometimes. Call them for anything they have amazing telehealth too

2022-08-23WOW. I made an appointment so I could get my birth control taken out and after waiting a hour after my appointment I asked and was brushed off saying I’m second on the list. I asked about how long the normal wait is and she said not long and come to read the reviews where most people waited three hours! I asked if there was a way to speed it up because I had a dentist appointment and the lady couldn’t even find my chart. Then while sitting there waiting and still waiting all I hear is phones ringing while the woman up front laugh and talk. I couldn’t even stay and wait to see if it would be three hours. I will be making my appointment somewhere else for sure. If they get backed up like this often they should inform you when you make an appointment. I don’t understand the point of the appointment

2022-05-13I’ve tried to remove my nexplanon at this health clinic quiet a few times but I am denied every time for some strange reason . The health workers there Emily and Trish have also gave me attitude for no reason . As to where they were no help for me every appointment I’ve scheduled. The FPA clinic says I owe some money for some health services I’ve never gone in for .. so I am not sure why this clinic is treating me that way .. sincerely a concerned woman..

2022-06-09Came here 3 years ago and had the best service and loved it here. 1 star for the service i had today due to poor communication within the staff. I came in and everything went quick and smooth Once I was done with the doctor I came out the room and was looking for the exit to leave and one of the staff members told me to wait inside the waiting room, which confused me cause I thought I was done but I thought they wanted to talk to me so I waited. Hours go by and I ask the lady that sat near the front desk how much longer I had to wait she asked for my name but she not once went to look for my file and then told me that I should be called next.... I sat there for 4 hrs and never got called again. Every time she passed by she seen that I was still there waiting but she never said anything to me or asked anyone anything. At one point she tried to walk on the other side of the hallway so i wouldnt see her smh. More time came by and she finally asked what my name was again and come to find out I was sitting there for no reason.P.s. I went straight there after a 12 hr shift and been up for over 22hrs so could you imagine how frustrating that is 🙃

2022-06-02Awful! They confirmed appt. By text, then said I needed to reschedule. I called and they said, no, not at your location and how I shouldnt have gotten that text. Got off the phone and received another confirmation text. Upon arriving at my appt they said, oh no! We are so sorry you didnt get the correct information. They made me a telehealth appt for the next day. I had my telehealth appt today. I was not comfortable, I felt like I was on their factory line, so impersonal and felt like an inconvenience and my time didnt matter. Im now going elsewhere, not what I expected from them. The lady on the office was kind yesterday, not the case for everyone.
