I had pleasure to stop at this repair shop. I actually didn’t have a choice, since this is the only auto/box truck mechanic located nearby. My truck was totally disabled. It was a mystery why the engine shuts off. Tony was hands on the issue. It took some time to find the cause of the problem, look over the dealer papers the truck was maintained on.After careful inspection, Tony immediately started working on my truck and few days later it’s up and running again. Tony is the man for taking care of your vehicle.

So, ladies. I want you to know about my experience here. My mother and I were recently in a hit and run accident that left our car totalled. Tony was immediately willing to help. Even willing to find the ither party if I provided their license plate #. Really should have been a red flag as that sounded fairly nefarious. We brought our car in and hoped for the best. We believed everything was going well, we all agreed that the car was a loss and that the car can be gotten rid of. So we sat back and waited to hear what needed to be done next. We began calling and reaching out to see what had been done and were ignored. Tony never said a word or answered any of our calls until the car had been being stored for almost a month. While tony had the car it was broken into and picked through. He then accused us of breaking the door handle and damaging the car while we were there in broad daylight getting our stuff out. He also said he isnt there to babysit cars. But he sure pays the babysitting fees. I would never recommend anyone come here, especially if he can overpower you. He sets you up to be picked clean by him and his business malpractice and bullying. We have screen shots and evidence. You dont get to expunge your behaviors.

I was out in Anaheim at a hotel and my starter died, he came to tow my car, got my starter delivered as fast as he could and serviced my car with fast and professional service. Tony Jr. Treated me like family and had amazing customer service. First time ever to give any auto shop a 5 star rating.

Tony and his team at Five Star Auto are 💯the real deal. The brakes went out on my Chevy Cruze while on the freeway. After I safely pulled off I called FSA on my girlfriends recommendation. First Tony sent a tow truck to pick me up, then he diagnosed my car and had it ready all in one day. Tony clearly communicated with me through the whole process and even referred me to a Chevy dealer service center for other work I needed done that was covered under my cars powertrain warranty. If I could give FSA10🌟s I would! I highly, HIGHLY RECOMMEND FIVE STAR AUTO!!!!👍👌

Been here just a couple of times, but the guys here have always been real straight shooters, always giving me a straight forward and honest diagnosis with reasonable estimates. They are also one of the few places that dont seem to shy away from wanting to work on older, including carbureted, cars. They also were really casual and welcoming right off the bat, as if they already knew me. So if you want a straightforward mechanic give these guys a try.

I have a 91 VW vanagon that Im restoring/keeping from becoming a junker. I spent all day upside down under the dashboard removing my clutch pedal bracket to get rid of rust and repaint it, and behold, one of the holes had elongated.A DIYer was wanting something like 80$ to weld the hole and wouldnt be able to work on it until Monday. I dont particularly like waiting, especially when Im not technically allowed to have an incapacitated vehicle at my apartment complex.Knowing this was an easy job and not wanting to wait, I decided to call around to some body shops. The only open one nearby was 5 Star Auto, and for 15 more minutes.I called up and Tony answered. I explained the hole elongation issue, and he said hed take a look, so I headed right over.I cant comment on quality of repairs just yet, but the weld was good enough. Tony was friendly and didnt even charge me since it took just 3 minutes to fix it.There were a ton of used parts around, and I saw them working jobs from front end body repair with pain, to what looked like suspension rebuild on a classic car. It reminded me of my grandfathers garage.Ill be going back sometime soon for an actual body or car repair and provide an update.

Tony Sr. was very kind and Ruben also. They fixed what was wrong with my car. They gave me honest prices. And also tried reaching out to the company that scammed me the first time. Very happy with the customer service they have here. Will defiantly be taking my car here from now on. Thank you guys so much.

DO NOT GO HERE. I went to this mechanic shop to get my brakes replace for my truck. I left the truck at the shop so he can check out the brakes and call me later with an estimate. He called me later and told me all the brakes needed to be replaced since they where in bad shape. I got an estimate $1000 to replace the 4 disks, and 3 brake shoes, and 1 break seal. The total for the parts was $610 and $390 for the work. He said if they use used parts it will cost less. I told that its ok, I wanted NEW PARTS and not to use the used parts I will pay the $1000.A couple days later he called me back saying that I was done. I told him if he minds if I write a check to him since I dont have the whole amount with me in cash. He said he only wants cash. So I told him I only have $800 in cash if it was fine with him to give him that and then write a check for the remaining amount. He agreed to this. So I handed him the cash and he handed me the receipt. I told him how long the warranty was for and he said 90 days. I then told him why so short since these are new parts. This is where things turn for the worst. He tells me he didnt use new parts. He got some of the parts REPAIRED, and some replaced with USED parts. He told me this after he had my cash safely in his pocket. I got mad with him an told him that I want a refund and he said he doesnt give refunds but if I take the truck to his shop AGAIN he will fix it. At this point I didnt have much choice but to take the truck back with me since I use it for work and needed for a big job tomorrow. As soon as I drove it I new he didnt replace squat. The thing was screeching like nobody business. I also notice the front right wheel was wet! The truck was leaking brake fluid!!!!I took it to another mechanic near by and he told me the disk where not replaced. That they where well worn and used. He also told me that the guy who replace my brakes did a really bad job. The brakes werent assembled back correctly and that their where lots of screws missing. What was most infuriating is that the guy who fix my brakes was the OWNER of the shop. It wasnt one of his workers who didnt do a good job it was the god dam owner of the place. HE didnt deliver on what was promise which was NEW PARTS and he didnt even fix the car brakes correctly with the old/used parts. >:(
