Paid $20 for a burger and fries essentially since they forgot everything else (not the first time). i’m not lying when i say they’ve messed up orders or forgotten items more times than i can count. i’m all for workplace fun, but whoever works at this farmer boys specifically screw off way too much at work. if you’re going to come here, make sure you double check your order. it’s a shame because the food is good, but (most) people working here are unprofessional.

The food is pretty good. The salads are large and flavorful at a reasonable price. The burgers are quite tasty, although not amazing. The breakfast plates are a bit underwhelming. I took one star off for the breakfasts and two stars off because they tend to mess up my order 4 out of 5 times (possibly more often). They will neglect to give me the dressings for the salad, include grilled chicken when breaded chicken was ordered, add cheese when no cheese was requested, not give me the receipt to get rewards points, etc.
This little gem turned out to be a delicious surprise. Nice friendly and quick indoor service for breakfast. Great pancakes and sausage 😋
The burgers are good. Makes me think of a really good home made burger. Fries are good too. The cold brew coffee is good, doesnt taste overly sweet. Lettuce is crisp on my burgers, love that.Update: still great burgers and service

The burgers are the star here. We always get the zucchini too. We did not have to wait long to enjoy our yummy food and dinned outside.
Very good, juicy patties for sure the highlight of this place. Well worth the extra buck or 2 vs the traditional fast food burger chains... 8 bucks for a 1/3 lb cheeseburger, good for a product thats definitely more in the range of a shake shack or five guys vs. Carls or burger King

I just went here and got a cobb salad from the drive thru and they forgot to add the ranch dressing. Frustrating but mistakes happen. I called once I got home to ask about possibly getting some ranch delivered to me since I have to get back to work, or at least if they could offer me a voucher or something for good faith. They told me the best they could do was a 10% discount off my next order because it was just the ranch. I cant eat the salad like this! Felt very disrespectful, not going back.

First time and was disappointed in the lack of help with the vast menu. When I asked the gentleman about something on the menu he pointed and said look.Then I chose an item and it came back incorrect. I was then finding myself in an argument about the food I ordered. I just wanted breakfast.
The sourdough bacon avocado is a hit! But you can never go wrong with the Farmer Burger with a side of onion rings and or zucchinis 🤤🤤🤤
5/8/22 UPDATE!Second time here!! First was drive thur only and second we got off to eat. The girls are all young inside at the register and super rude! No costume service etiquette. From the second we ordered to when they brought the food out. Definitely love the food but the costumer service was horrible today!Overall good experience. First time here. I went through drive thur. Took a bit but I cant complain cause the food was great.

Took over 30 minutes to get a simple order with only one other person in drive through. How did this happen? They make you park in their parking lot to wait for your order so they can deceive others into thinking there is no line. @FarmerBoys If you cannot serve the customers you already have waiting, in a timely fashion, do no deceive others into thinking there is no wait. If I was informed of the long wait or had seen how many people were ahead of me, I would have left. My entire lunch break was wasted waiting for my order. Not coming back..
If you want to see how a poorly run fast food place is ran, come here. gets order wrong, ridiculous wait times , $$ and dont even get service at mcdonolds which are using kioks. MANAGER : tell your workers to stop doing everything and take the order right. its INEXCUSABLE when your average item price is close to 8 bucks!
Really good burgers from a not quite fast food restaurant. Fries are fine but go with either the onion rings or fried zucchini. The portions on both are huge.
I asked for 2 cups of ranch and they gave me 3. Very nice.
5 stars as far as fast food goes, in terms of taste, quality and quantity theyre on par with most restaurants and its cheaper. They have an app that basically gets you 10% off with their rewards system and it actually feels worth it. I have yet to find a better fast food place than Farmer boys or > in n out.
Food is excellent, but I cant give 5 stars bc of their drive through practices. If the drive through is busy, youd expect to see a long line. They deceive customers by giving you a printed number when you pay at the drive through and making you wait in the parking lot for your order. This way the drive through will look like youll experience a 5-10 minute wait, but really youll be here for 20-40 minutes.
I had a HORRIBLE time ordering from here. A worker who has blond hair with glasses I dont know her name has terrible customer service. So rude, will litteraly throw things instead of handing them to you like decent human being. She complains in your face, scoffs and will walk away from you. I would never want my friends and family to ever feel terrible for ordering food like I did. Im leaving a 1 start review. Only because i cant go lower and leave a zero star.
New favorite restaurant, especially this location (although it’s the only one I’ve been to). The VIF perks app is literally the only one I actually use. Haven’t been there in a month or so because my office changed but I’m sure they are still harassment free in the not wearing a mask department 👍👍.

Terrible experience here. Brought my family here and they got our order wrong and had to replace my wifes sandwich with the correct one, and when it came back almost 30 minutes later missing the fries at this point we were all hungry and waiting for them to get it together and bring my wife her order .... meanwhile our food is cold . We waited 5 more minutes for ? Fries ? Really, I had it, so I asked for a refund , getting the 3rd degree from the manager like I was in the wrong. We got a full refund and got the hell out of there. Never go back.

I dont eat here very often, but I thought I give it another try ,so being a breakfast guy, I try the ham breakfast burrito. I asked for easy scramble, to my surprise it was very good , but at $9.61 and the size . over priced, more like $5 to 6 is what its worth, but to be fair it was tasty. for sure ,service was polite as well

My natural Burger was great, but my wifes regular was terribly overdone. We paid for avocado on hers.but there was itinerary bit of mashed acacado so think she couldnt taste it. The only reason we went there was that the first time we tried it the food was really good. Ill try it again but not during the lunch rush.
I Love It! Me and my family decided to try out a new restaurant around town and we came across the Farmer Boys in Newbury Park. The burgers here were amazing and surprisingly big. And the service was great! Arguably the best service in town. The employees were very kind, welcoming, and experienced. I am definitely coming here again!
They do the best to get your food out. So far I had great experience with customer service and food selection. The food is good. I am not a fan of any sauce from any place except homemade. Try it out and see what you enjoy most.
Very disappointing this time. We ordered crispy chicken sandwich and fries. When we got home, the sandwich qas SPICY altho we did not order spicy. Fries were cold and not crisp.

Food was very good had a burger and onion rings. Personally I like a thicker breading on my onion rings but still good. Burger we very tasty. Only bad thing was the wait for the food. I think they cooked at time of order, if thats the case totally worth the wait.
I have written to the company and the response was they will tell the farmer when he returns!! Never heard another thing. My husband wanted to try the chicken sandwich so we ordered one regular and one spicy. The buns were black on the inside. Couldn’t tell which one was which. No sauce just a dry piece of chicken and a couple slices of pickle. Other times (4) they get the orders wrong even when no one is in line. Very overpriced for the messed up orders. Poor quality control.

My wife and I ate there Saturday evening. We ordered the sourdough chicken sandwich and an order of fries. The food was lukewarm at best. The sandwiches were and fries were both soggy. Yes, we ate our food as to not be wasteful. First and most likely our last visit. The restaurant was fairly clean but easily could have been kept up better.

The combination of fresh, tasty ingredients, quick friendly service and a clean environment, made for an excellent experience and I will def be back.Went in during the lunch rush and didnt have to wait to be served. Food was moderately priced. I ordered a double farm cheeseburger combo, vanilla milkshake and the Fish and Chips. Food came within 5 minutes of sitting down and it was hot!Fries: The fries were crisp on the outside and salted to perfection. Where most fries have no potato middle or are fried too much, these fries were perfect.Vanilla Milkshake: I hardly ever finish my milkshake when I do order them. Often times they are just too sugary. This milkshake though was so good. It wasnt too sugary, it tasted like the perfect blend of milk and ice cream, and was a good thickness.Fish and Chips: I was really impressed with the choice of fish. They used Cod, and the batter was thin and light. The fish was flakey and crisp. Sometimes when I order fish and chips the fish comes out dripping with oil or very wet, this was not the case here. They did a great job.Cheeseburger: The meat was perfect. It didnt have pieces of fat or grizzle. The meat was very tender and soft and the flavor was supreme. They did a great job seasoning it also. It had a taste like they had an old grill in the back. The vegetables they used in the burger were perfect too. Chopped onions instead of an onion disk which often times is too thick. The lettuce was considerate and used the portions of the leaves that were soft and not thick and white. I was also pleased with the bread as it was very soft but not so much that it lost form. Pickles were sweet to the taste and the tomatoes were just the right thickness.Overall: I was very impressed and will have to go back to try their breakfast. I like that they have a drive thru line and it seemed to move fairly quickly considering this is not Fast Food.
Got massive food poisoning on 3/11 eating at this location. Ate a breakfast burrito...
This location cares more about their drive-thru timer than the customers. I was the only person in line nobody was behind me and they kept insisting I pull forward because they has gone over their time limit. They even brought the manager over to argue with me instead of rushing the order.

We need Farmer Boys like we need a Lowes directly across from Home Depot.I simply cannot fathom the thinking in the executive suite when it comes to situating yet another fast food joint in the midst of the rest, especially when the food and ambiance are nothing special.Assuming the place gets it act together eventually (openings are tough) the burgers will still be average, the fries tasteless and the prices high. As for the breakfast menu, three eggs per serving are the standard.Could we exercise a little restraint when it comes to certain food choices? Two eggs are more than enough.Stick with the tried and true standard bearers in this area: In and Out and Habit. Burgers, fries and shakes done right.Then back away from burgers occasionally and eat a salad once in a while. Eat anything else once in a while.

I love the food at Farmer Boys. They put way too many onions on most things, so I ask for none. Probably some of the best fast food Ive had. Too bad Capitalism limits their ability to open more locations. Everyone deserves a quality meal.
It was a 50 minute wait for 2 burritos at a drive thru. If they were honest about the wait time I would of gone some place else. Plus the guy delivering the food was not wearing gloves. He went to his car a few times in the 50 minutes I waited.
Asked specifically for Cheddar Cheese and got aweful american cheese... Absolutely ruined the flavor of the patty melt. Onion rings and zucchini are over priced and over rated, no flavor and so hot inside the zucchini could not attempt to eat for 40 minutes later.
Pretty good fast food, definitely better than the McDonalds/Burger King/Jack in the Box type places. Menu also includes Chicken sandwiches, salads, and even an extensive breakfast offering.
Farmer Boys has yet to disappoint me. The portions are huge, the food tastes fresh, they have a little bit of everything. Its nice to have one so close and not have to go all the way to LA.

Both my wife and I had an omelette. Very tasty. Also, liked the roving teenagers offering to refill coffee. Everyone had a great attitude. Definitely a favorite so I rang the bell on the way out.
This location really messed up 2 burgers. SMHWe ordered a double with no pickles and they somehow gave us a single with pickles.And a bacon boy with no tomato. I mean they messed up the first so I wasnt surprised about the second being wrong. Then they had the audacity to say to wait 10 minutes for the sandwich to be replaced. If you guys value your time or have a lunch break do not go here as they take forever for a line of 2 cars.
The chicken patty and bun is very good. Overall I rate it 2 because it doesnt include tomatoes or lettuce and is way over priced by at least $2. I can buy a bag of frozen chicken patties for the price of 1 of Farmer Boys.
First time at this location. So the kids and myself went in to order a to-go order because they have never been there so they could see the menu and with mom home sick we wanted to take it home.. we ordered and sat there and sat there and sat there just watching people come and go so Finley I went up to ask about out order and they said it had been done for awhile but we where waiting on toast. So I ask we are letting our food get cold for toast? And they smiled and said yes so after another 7 minutes we have been waiting almost 30min we got toast and our order.. food was all cold and not one kid would eat it except for the one that ordered a salad. $58 dollars wasted.. I hope they get there stuff fixed

Had cheeseburger and French fries also have had the frenchtoast. Both wrte setved hot, fresh, delicious and resonably priced. Nice new change to all the other fast food joints weve eaten at a hundred times.

First time at a Farmer Boys. Grabbed the HO Zuchinni, O-rings, Chili cheese fries adn double cheese burger.Zuchini - really really goodO-rings - won’t get again. The coating makes the ring and theirs leaves a lot to be desired.Chili Cheese Fries - good but ... the onions were far too strong and that over-rode all the flavorsDouble Cheese Burger - meat was a bit salty but overall a pretty decent burger.Would recommend but skip the onion rings and raw onions.
Very bland side salad with just iceberg lettuce and tomatoes followed by an even more bland chicken, avocado, lettuce and bacon sandwich on sourdough bread. Yuck!! Soggy and tasteless with just warm chicken. I was there only because it was new and close to Home Depot and Lowes. Never again.
STOLE MY MONEY AND TOOK MY FOOD WOULD NOT REMAKE Came through the drive thru to order a burger for me and my son and once again they got the order wrong when I came back and brought the burger back the women with black and green hair would not refund me or remake the burger and even took the food so I LITERATELY LEFT WITHOUT MY MONEY OR MY FOOD and the like a child she wouldn’t give me my receipt back until I threatened to call the police and she finally gave me the receipt back and told me I would have to deal with the manager the next day.There Is no way the this is good business not remaking the food or giving me my money back I will be contacting the manager and the main corporate office and the BBB. Since I work customer facing all day this is appalling the business runs like this.

2022-08-18Really great, fresh food.. but.. I have been here twice now for lunch, and not ordering anything odd from the menu, and both times they have had me pull around the corner from the drive through and wait for the food. About 10 minutes the first time, and I am still waiting after 8 minutes the second time.. Great food, but not great service.

2022-07-01Would put no stars but cant. Ordered a cali BLT with a fried chicken patt *didnt think it would be hard*. Parents order a BBQ salad and a regular cheeseburgar. Recieved the wrong burgar honest mistake but it took 30 minutes to get a replacement and the salad took 35 mins to get missing the onion rings. Got my BLT with no tomatoe *which I asked for* but didnt get the chicken patty. Had to ask three times every time the girl came by to drop off food I asked. Never got it, then I asked for a refund for the BLT and chicken patty. Gave us the wrong change and where pretty rude. The change was off by 26 cents..... And I know how petty this is but man. They where just rude.

2021-06-08Fries were pretty good.Burger was decent, pretty bland and undercooked for my liking.I also came here for breakfast once before and it was so so bland. Definitely wouldn’t recommend breakfast but they do cook it fresh so that’s a plus.

2022-06-16I get the bacon boy every time. Its always fresh and tastes great. Ive always had to wait in front of the building in my car. They arent the fastest, but we come back anyway. Fries are good. Ketchup is organic and less salt which my girlfriend hates, but the ranch is good. This place is a good option if youre tired of the same old fast food.

2022-06-11We had a coupon for buy one chicken sandwich and two drinks get one chicken sandwich free.We also ordered the onion rings a little pricey about $6.39 for four massive onion rings. However my wife and I both didnt like them they seemed like they cut a quarter of the peel and coated them with some off colored mix.They were happy to replace them with fries which were good.I had the fire chicken sandwich and she had the regular chicken sandwich.I asked for more sauce because it was barely spread on the bread and woul of been dry.All in all the food was decent.We are looking to get thier breakfast burritos and see how that goes.The service was good.

2021-10-09This place was packed on Saturday afternoon so we opted to go through the drive thru, we were given a number to wait at the front so they can prepare our food. Food was brought out just a few minutes later. Thank you for the delicious birthday meal! The hamburger is always our go to option

2022-04-14The food was lousy. I asked for the parmesan sourdough burger to be well done. It arrived still pink inside. The fries were lukewarm. The bread fell apart as I was eating it. I spent $15+ for a burger, fries and a soft drink that was certainly not worth it.

2022-08-05Had breakfast there. Home cooking style eggs. Very clean and friendly environment. Fresh squeezed OJ. Similar to Dennys breakfast. Will come back to try their burgers.

2022-06-24My Husband loves it. I on the other hand will not eat there again. The food is plain and uninspiring. However, the food is fresh and prepared to order. Good for some but not for me.

2022-04-07I have been seeing their commercials on TV for years and finally went there with my son the other day. I had the Natural Burger and fries and he had the Alaskan Pollock fish and fries which I had a taste of and fell in love with it as a matter of fact I went back through the next day and got the fish for myself! Epic!
