Everything they serve is fantastic. I dropped by a couple of days ago for a last minute birthday cake. Their lemon lavender cake is amazing. This is my 3rd time visiting here and Im going to continue coming back. My sweet tooth is in trouble. Thank you all!

Original wedding date: 10/17/2020Actual wedding date: 10/09/2021Trevor and I met with Leslie in December 2019 in the bakery to do a cake tasting. She was recommended by our wedding venue. Every flavor was amazing but the one that stood out was the Lemon Berry. Leslie took our idea of doing a dessert bar and exceeded my expectations. She educated me on the number of sweets you really need, and which desserts are the best for different groups of people. She knew the logistics behind the number of guests, number of pieces and to avoid having a plate to prevent wasted sweets.Unfortunately, we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID and Leslie was so easy to work with. We pushed the contract a year over. Come 2021, some flavors and/or items were not on the menu, but Leslie made sure to substitution or replace those items with something just as good.EVERYONE LOVED HER DESSERTS! We reserved the 8” round wedding cake just for us and instead did a cupcake version so we do not need to slice and distribute slices of cake. All the guests kept asking me about where the desserts came from and that made me feel good. Desserts can make or break your guests’ experience at your wedding.Leslie, I admire your resilience during this time, your years of service and dedication into baking. You are a master at what you do, and I cannot wait to see what the future holds. I will be back!BOOK LESLIE FOR YOUR WEDDING CAKE AND DESSERTS! You will not be disappointed.

Ever since I saw photos of Fantasy Frostings banana pudding, Ive had this place bookmarked - I wasnt aware that it was actually much closer to me than I had expected. Ended up making the drive over when I saw their IG post about almond poppy chiffon cake.Bakery is located on Colorado Blvd, between Quigley and Rosemead Blvd. There was plenty of street parking, and as of now, theyre allowing customers back into the store to choose goodies (or you can order on-line or through the phone for curbside pick-up).On a Saturday late morning, there seemed to be a decent selection available in their display cases. I was pretty delighted to see that they offered samples of their cookies - cut up into small pieces and packaged up - for customers to try before buying. Everything is neatly labeled and priced - they offer cakelettes, chiffon cakes, dessert cups, pies, cookies, cookie sandwiches, and cake bars. Prices seem to be on the slightly higher end, but the storefront IS located in Pasadena, and everything looked so amazing.Got a slice of that almond poppy chiffon cake - price was under $5 if I remember correctly. This was so delicious! I could honestly eat an entire cake and not be tired of this. Very reminiscent to the taste of the poppy seed muffins back when Costco carried them except that Fantasy Frostings is more elevated with the frosting on top. Each bite was moist and not too sweet, and eating it with a smidgen of that frosting on top was so good. Would come back and order this again. As for the banana pudding cup, I found this to be a little on the pricier side. It was $6.95 for a pretty small cup. I think the large size at Magnolia is around this price, and you get a lot more for your buck. But tastewise - this banana pudding was on point. Could taste the sweetness of the pudding with the fresh cream, and there was a good amount of bananas and cookie pieces inside. And I tried the confetti cookie sammich for $4.75. Tastewise, I thought it was a little sweet, but I feel like there was an undertone of almond to the cookie, which I personally loved. My sister wasnt a big fan of the flavor though. I did feel like the texture was a bit hard - almost like it was made a day or two prior to when I bought it.There was a post about getting a free cup of coffee with all purchases that day, but unfortunately it seemed like they were no longer serving coffee or the woman helping us forgot about the promotion. Other than that though, the lady helping us was really nice. She explained some of the cookie flavors and allowed me time to decide before ringing me up.Id return, but only for that almond poppy chiffon cake. And maybe to try their confetti cakelette! Hours are limited so make sure you double-check before making the drive over.

We hired Fantasy Frostings to make the cake and all of our desserts for our recent wedding. We worked directly with Leslie and she was a saint:1. She knew about how many desserts were needed for a dessert bar for our guest count2. She knew our wedding venue, had created desserts for it before and knew that since it was outdoors, some of her desserts wouldnt hold up well and instead recommended ones that would3. She was able to create an absolute masterpiece of a cake for myself and my bride on top of it all.We had 7 different dessert types at the dessert bar, plus our special cake for ourselves and by the end of the night everything was devoured because of how amazing it all was. Everyone loved everything!Would highly recommend Leslie and Fantasy Frostings for your event. She does SUCH a good job.

This new custom cake and pastry store is absolutely delightful. I havent had a chance to use their custom cake services yet (Im thinking my wedding may be in two years), but their cupcakes and scones and coffee cakes and Mississippi mud pie tarts have all been delightful. They also have a cake flight where you can choose 5 slices from the special flavors they have made for the week. This place is one of my new favorites!

I stopped by to try some treats. Everything I got was tasty but it was very expensive for the portion. The tarts were $3, and about the size of a tablespoon.

The cake itself tastes good the gluten free doesn’t even taste gluten free, but the frosting THE NAME OF THE STORE is so disappointing. It tastes like it came from a can. Their packaging is very poor too as by the time my cupcakes got home they were sideways with all the frosting mushy and fallen off. They also only have 1 flavor of gluten free cupcakes which is rather disappointing.

They do really great work here.  They hand drew the design during our consultation and then the cake matched perfectly. It looks amazing.  We got a two tier round chocolate cake all blue & purple with hand drawn 3D snow flakes and edible numbers for the age.  Really impressive,  it tasted delicious!

Walked in to check availability and was happily greeted by Sheri. After going to a couple other bakeries, she was by far the nicest & most helpful and made my ordering process very easy. Cant wait to see what we created!!!
