Renting a unit and moving was easy just the price was crazy two price increases within a year with me paying triple from moving in so it can stay competitive with other storage facilities. Of you wanna stay competitive then dont make a tenant pay triple

Tara is a very friendly woman. I found & paid for my storage through their website. It was fairly easy, but I did have to call to confirm because it bounces me out before I got confirmation. However, it was easily fixed.

I had the best experience ever at a storage company today. Tara at Extra Space on Jamestown Street in Stockton, CA was excellent. When I got to the office at 10 am on a Saturday, there was a sign on the door with a phone number to call if no one was in the office. I called it, left a message and not even 5 minutes passed before Tara, the assistant manager, called me back. She was leaf blowing on the property and came zipping up in her golf cart. She was very pleasant, helpful and quick to get me squared away with my space. She took me to see the space and show me how to work a new kind of luck I had never seen before. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Extra Space to anyone. The property is so clean it sparkles, just like Tara with her cheery personality.

Malaria & Tara were amazing. I had a headboard on the property and I forgot my Allen ranch. They were nice enough to let me borrow theirs.They are very responsive and will go the extra mile to help. They are always in a great mood. Great serviceThe space has cameras everywhere and you need a gate code to get in. I felt safe and I felt like my items were safe as well.

I bought a storage unit from the storage location ended up not being so great of a storage lots and lots of money but intern the staff was very helpful and allowed me to get what I needed out of there with no rush. I really appreciated it seem like its a very secure location I never see any riffraff walking around love that is open till 8 most places are open till 6 or 7 girl at the front desk was fantastic

Storage space was very clean no roaches or rodents however a lot of different kinds of spiders. I also encountered an incident being a couple minutes past gate hours and the property manager came up to me and my mother and yelled at us to get off the property and was EXTREMELY rude and proceeded to let me know she would make sure to never rent a storage locker to me again and that she would make sure other locations wouldn’t either..

Malarie was awesome!! I came to her location after an unpleasant experience with the manager at the University of Pacific location. The woman over there was very passive agressive and made us feel like we were wasting her time We left that location and went straight here and met the lovely Store Manager, Malarie. She is friendly, personable, patient, knowledgeable and very very ensuring. Even though my family showed up 10 minutes before closing. She took care of us and did not make us feel bad and NOTrushed 😃 She walked us through everything explained all the policies and made us feel safe and confidently explained Extra Spaces security protocols. She was AWESOME!! The service Malarie gave was night and day in comparison to what was given at the UOP location. Thank you so much Malarie!! We appreciate you!!
I was extremwly impressed with the service rendered to me. Mallory was the awesome young lady helping me out the day I came to inquire about any available units. She was very thorough, polite and made me feel completely comfortable and at ease about everything. I did not feel rushed or as though I was just a number when walking in. All staff members at this location were super sweet and gave an awesome vibe. The people are great here and all seem to naturally work well together. My family and I arrived with less than 15 minutes to closing. We had been at the Pacific Ave. location where the customer service was horrible, but she did refer us to the Jamestown location.The Service provided by Malarie the Store Manager was far better than what we received at the Pacific Ave. location. Malarie gave us clear answers to our questions regarding security and explained procedures in place to help reduce theft. She was patient and showed pride and care for her location. We are pleased to be at Malerie’s location at Jamestown!

So I was at first happy about my storage unit ..untill they want to raise the price on me it went from 94$ to172. That is not okay...Im not happy.

Malarie was a fabulous, friendly, organized customer service rep! She called us very shortly after our web reservation; made sure the units we wanted to see were clean; clearly explained our options and all fees - yes, we wound up going with a slightly larger unit! No delays or computer hang-ups. The facility is securely gated, units are clean and locked. No smell!

I had to rent a storage unit from out of town. I had no ability to check the facility before renting, and was hesitant committing to this location sight unseen.I am super happy with my decision to rent here! The site manager - Vanessa - was very quick to help me with an emergency on a day they were closed when I could not access my storage units. She was quick to stop her personal business to help me with this difficult roadblock when I had a per hour mover rental deadline and every minute was costing me money. I was pleasantly surprised by her customer service, considering I had just interrupted her at home. She was super quick and great in calming down my stress from the situation.THANK YOU VANESSA!

Been a customer for almost a year now and never experienced such great customer service from someone there. Until I came in to talk about my storage unit and an employee by the name of Trisha was very helpful and polite. She answered all the questions I had even though they may have seemed odd. Infested with roaches!!!! Upon removing our stuff the was a large amount of cockroaches crawling under all of our boxes. All of our kids clothes, stuffed animals, toys, and blankets. Every box has at least one in it. Absolutely disgusting. Think twice before storing your stuff here. I had to throw away a nice couch and expressive mattress because of this, and priceless memorabilia from when my children where babies.

Horrible place Never Never Never Rent a Unit from this Facility my storage Was Broke into Many Valuables were took the manager didnt even call me until the Next Day. She had plenty of time with a partner to put stuff back inside my unit plus add a new Lock but couldnt call me & inform me what had happened its a Inside Job these people are Crooked.. she was supposed to send pictures of my stuff thrown down hall way never got pictures for evidence to give police. They moved Bolt Cutters which was evidence for the police.. complete liars and Thiefs. 0 Starz and yes you know Karma is a Bit..
Well, I was just in about a week ago , and I planned on moving pretty soon so I walked in for rates. The girl that helped me was Sherrell, she was a great help. Very funny and nice. Despite the environment/area she help me see past it. I plan on renting a storage room soon ;)

I reserved a space at a certain location because there was a promotion for the first month free. Once I arrived at that location the office was closed due to an emergency. After being on the phone for nearly 30 min with customer service, I was forced to go to another location. My promotion was NOT honored and the reasoning why not did not satisfy me all. I ended up paying more than I planned and was inconvenienced by having to change locations.

DO NOT USE THIS SITE for storage of your belongings!! It is infested with rats and unsanitary. Many of my belongings were damaged by rats ripping boxes and clothes and making nests in my belongings. They also regularly raise their rent. Customer service is terrible and they are completely unhelpful. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

My daughter rented a large storage for her entire house. They make you purchase there insurance in which she did. It states in their contract that there are no rats and spiders. Months down she opened her storage and what she found was AMOUNTS OF RAT FECES, DESTROYED ALL FURNITURE, WIRES AND EVERY ITEM IN THERE. She complained several times, wrote letters and spoke to insurance that she was paying for. They refused to quickly settle, return calls and refused to pay what more had been DESTROYED. She refused to clean due to health issues, afraid and the storage did not comply with there guarentee if protecting her items. Also, it was very difficult to speak to some one there because they were always out for lunch. Even knowing we where coming. Now the storage place has sent her to collections.We are looking into taking this to court. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Its a health hazzard!They do not protect your items as PROMISED in the contract. I cannot pist puctures due to legal referral.

Got off to a rocky start. When I went to put things in my unit, it was padlocked. Everything was straightened out the next day. My stuff is stored and safe now.

2022-08-05It was easy to rent the storage unit over the phone and signed the docs online which was nice. Pete was very helpful when I gave my notice to evacuate the unit. He made sure to note the day of me leaving and stopped my automatic payments. Pete was very nice. I had great customer service.

I reviewed many other storage businesses based on their customer reviews. I knew I did not want to tolerate unprofessional treatment/behavior. All of the comments about ESS are 100% accurate. My initial contact was with Marilyn when I called for information. The next contact was with Aliyah when I went to their office. I agree that both ladies have excellent customer service, are very professional and positive. I am very happy and satisfied with my selection of Extra Space Storage.I have rented here in the past and also had a very good experience.

2022-08-19Very simple renting process. Everything was done online and all you have to do is go to your unit and your lock and key is ready for you. The staff is very nice too.

2022-08-18No pest control, rude staff, and help is poor when you need it. This is different from my first review, as they require a Google review before renting a unit here. After staying here for about a week my unit was infested with mice and staff did nothing about it (will have to go through insurance for reimbursement). I dont recommend renting here, the manager was pretty rude when you actually needed her help.

2022-04-22Nice clean facility and started at a low price but then jacked the price up a few months later....then last month jacked the price up $80 (From $113 to $193) more and did not notify me by the usual text/email and instead sent me something in the mail which I either did not receive or thought was junk mail. Ridiculous overpricing and jacking up of rate
