Positive: Nothing. horrible customer service and horrible dirty rooms Negative: Everything was horrible. Hotel employee was in a bad mood and gave us an attitude the whole time at check in. Our 3 rooms where dirty, stinky with roaches. We asked for the room to get clean towles and sheets and she said that she did not have any clean o
Booked and paid for the room. We arrived walked in and before saying anything the counter person says that if we are trying to check in they had no rooms. They overlooked and cancel our reservation with no notice. No sorry, no offer to help find other rooms. As we are standing outside trying to find rooms for 5 people at 10pm on a Saturday night, another guest walks out with the front person yelling and cursing at them. Will never go near this place again.
Positive: Absolutist nothing! Negative: UNPROFESSIONAL and DIRTY.They gave us no towels and the worst part is that they gave keys to our room to someone else after we checked in. Someone else was able come into our room while one of us showered!!! ROACHES EVERYWHERE IN OUR ROOM
My daughter booked me a room while I was in LA helping her prepare for a move. We talked about how hotels are very strict about using anothers credit card and she let me know she had signed a waiver allowing her card to be charged the amount of the room. When I got there after a 19 hour drive from Boise Idaho the front desk lady immediately went into the Waiver requirement and I assured her it had been taken care of and it should be with my reservation. After calling my daughter and talking with her she again verified that it was taken care of. Finally 10 minutes in my daughter was able to find the email and screen shot it for proof, about that time I received the text with my proof the front desk girl stated I found it after that she required my debit card for incidentals, as she states In case you use the phone or smoke in the room. When I got to my room the bed appeared to have imprints that someone had been sitting on it. I then when to the bathroom and there was no soap, hand towels or wash rags. I called the front desk and she said it would be about 20 min, as all the cleaners were upstairs cleaning. I asked about coffee in our rooms? None not even a coffee pot, I went downstairs and got one, she handed it to me in a bag with 1 coffee, no cream or sugar. I went back to my room to make coffee and it didnt work. I went back downstairs and handed it to the maintenance man. He took it from me I asked for another one and he went to the back and never came back. At this time I was so frustrated, tired and wanting to just take a shower and relax. I get in the shower there was black hair, and an old dried up soap bar stuck to the shower curtain from the inside. I was hoping when I got out of the shower management might have brought me up a coffee pot but nope, I was still holding onto hope. It appears this hotel has no customer service and only does the minimum for there guests. Never ever will I stay here and will definitely let all my friends and family know about this dump. I went to sleep listening to a family argue, someone upstairs pounding around all night and am now sitting here writing this review in hopes that I feel better getting this off my chest and hope to help others when considering staying here.
I purchased my room online and not in person for $160 a night with tax + breakfast but was really disappointed. There were other nicer hotels for the same price a night I could’ve stayed at, but I chose here for convenience because it was near my destination. Also, the lady at the front desk was very nice, but she notified me that the rooms DO NOT get daily housekeeping and I believe it is an extra $10 charge if you want it done. I noticed the rooms weren’t daily cleaned right away. The outside looks clean and nice but the inside is so so. The first room I stayed in had a cockroach in the kitchen area. We were moved to a different room, but that room also had someone’s left overs in the fridge. Honestly, I could barely sleep knowing this because I wasn’t sure if they clean the sheets or not or if another cockroach would appear since they don’t empty the fridges. Also, there was noticeable dust on the tv stand and curtains. And the “breakfast” we paid for is only coffee, regular oat and honey granola bars, and plastic wrapped muffins. I thought it would be more of a continental breakfast, but it also wasn’t described when I purchased it. Also no decaf coffee which is the only one I drink so I just bought breakfast elsewhere. All in all I wouldn’t feel comfortable staying here again. And the elevator was not working which I didn’t mind because it’s only three floors, but in case anyone comes with big luggage just letting you know. Not sure if it’s a regular thing or just that day.
Positive: The location Negative: Yes. Was shown 2 rooms that were thrashed and not clean. The last room was dirty. Sticky floors. Beds were gross. A light didnt work. There was a hole by the window. A cockroach fell out of my fridge and I asked for non smoking and the last people smoked
Well its budget friendly but you get what you pay for. I reserved 2 days here and theres no cleaning service if you want new towels you have to bring your old towels to the front so they can give you new ones that was so weird. My room floor was sticky and there was a weird odor in the hallways. The bathroom is very small. There was no water liner on the shower curtains. You can tell this was a old motel that was remodeled, But other then that it was okay.
After speaking to the hotel directly they can’t help us. Because they move us there is no guarantee we won’t have more problems with the roaches. This place needs to be shut down. Having nasty guests shouldn’t affect other guests. This is a terrible place ran by people who show no empathy for customers who are dealing with this.
Positive: Nothing, wish I could get my money back. Negative: I was here for 4 days reported my refrigerator was broken. It was never checked out I wasnt moved to other when was available the lobby smelled elevator dirty. Always had to wait on clean towels not good experience.
Bathroom dirty, bugs inside, no trash can, smells bad, looks old , rooms are not in order we had room 334 and we got 335 for our other family members and 335 was down the hall to 334.online it said breakfast was provided and when we went to go get breakfast there was only coffee and pastry.DO NOT WASTE MONEY HERE.THIS PLACE DOES NOT EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR
Positive: It was near the airport. Negative: I saw one bug a day two of which were roaches. Also we were on the 3ed floor and the elevator was making strange sounds so we used the stairs which wasnt that bad but upon leaving we had to take heavy luggage down and I have a bad back.
Stayed in this hotel during my travel to Long Beach, CA and the experience was just OK OK. Room was not really clean and there was a mild bad odour. Faced continuous WiFi connectivity issues and door key problems. On the other side, there is the convenience of having a kitchen with the basic facilities and guest laundry. There is ample parking space around the hotel and this place is pet friendly.
1] Elevator did not work for the 3 days that I was here2] Not having clean Towels when needed.3] Room smells like smoke4] Having to walk all around through the front instead of the back door getting all wet in the rain5] bathroom exhaust not working properly makes loud noise.6] carpet stain all over7] hallway smells bad8] beds are outdated and uncomfortable.9] pillows are very thin.
I not criticizing all extended stays hotels but at this location was totally an experience my girlfriend & i will never forget.. unacceptable .. .We change rooms three times in 2 days... Due to the room not being clean, stickiness, water rings on the nightstands & table, roaches in every room we was moved to, a stale smell of dog filled the air in the room, sticky stuff on the floor which says the floor hasnt been mopped in two out of three rooms,Long hair on the pillow, the pipe started leaking under the sink. Maintenance came to fix it, while my girlfriend was working (works from home) in the room. Due to the noise from sewing cutting and banging... she couldnt work or answer calls for 30 minutes. The AC didnt work properly. I never wrote a negative review in my life but I felt that this had to be addressed... The front desk was very understanding and did what they could do to compensate us but there is so much they can do so we had to involve the manager. I felt like we should have been paid to stay there we should have been credited 100% of our money back after 8 days staying at this location.
The reservation was arranged by my sister, never stayed at an extended stay before. Weird oder in room and thru out the place, elevator was dirty trash cans were full in front and lobby. Main thing was finding cockroaches in my room when I turned on the lights bathroom and kitchenette.
Positive: The location and th price-point were what made me reserve a room at this hotel. Negative: So many things to name: 1. The room was not thoroughly cleaned. Sticky stuff on the table, floor was sticky... kinda gross. Thank goodness I brought my wipes! 2. No pots, pans, plates, or utensils of any kind in the room. 3. Smell of smoke everywhere
The whole hotel smelled like smoke. The lobby, elevator, hallway and my room. There was a roach in my room as soon as so opened my door luckily I was able to smash it. There was a mouse trap next to the fridge on the floor. I felt so gross staying there. It felt more like a motel than hotel!
This was a total roach motel. Legit saw a 🪳.No breakfast even though it was on the website. Floor was sticky, room smelled like smoke, leaving my clothes smoky after the trip. Asked for utensils and had to wait near two hours for it. While the room had been cleaned there was still bits of hair in the bathroom. Lamps missing light bulbs. The only redeeming factor is that the guy who checked us in has amazing customer service and great rapport.
First off,let me just say Im not a picky/rude person HOWEVER,this place needs improvement. The bed is VERY uncomfortable-so much so that I have been unable to get a good nights sleep. The sheets smell like they havent been washed in awhile. In fact the whole room smells musty. And lastly, the tub takes awhile to drain. So for anyone out there considering Extended day hotel-I suggest you spend more if you want a CLEAN room with top notch service.
Positive: The Front staff were nice. The location is nice. Negative: Upon entering the room, the smell of smoke was strong. Opened both windows to allow air circulation. Had to leave ASAP to meet friends. When I arrived back late at night, the strong smell of smoke was still there. Will not go back here.
The place looks somewhat nice, but thats it.i have to agree with most reviews. Strong cigarette smoke throughout, dated furniture, paltry breakfast. The unit had kitchenette and full size fridge, so that is a little redeeming.Paid about $150/night but should definitely stay elsewhere for that amount.
Positive: The hotel was filthy. I got up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and there were cockroaches in the restroom. YES COCKROACHES! Disgusting. For the area that the hotel was in I am surprised that lobby smelled like cigarettes right away. Negative: Would not recommend anyone in staying here.
The commercials made me think this hotel was better than it was. The rooms are clean but old furniture small tv. Shower drips and the rod is hanging in by a screw. I smashed two small bugs in the bathroom. Too small to tell if they were roaches. Refrigator was clean and works. Overall I would say pick another hotel unless you just need it for one night. I did three days I leave tomorrow.
Positive: It was right next to The Grand where our friends wedding was. Negative: The room smelled musty. We found 3 cockroaches in the room. The drawer to the nightstand was gone. The lobby smelled also. Our parents stayed next door and it was better quality, but I would suggest staying at the Holiday Inn down the street, looked better
Positive: That is was close to where i needed to be the next day. Negative: Elevators weren¿t working, the receptionist looked as if she just woke up, the fact that I had to walk up stairs to get to my room and NO towels were provided. When I called and asked for some, the receptionist told me she didn¿t have ANY ready.
Positive: The staff Negative: Shortage on towels , t.v. glitched out.band next door played while trying to sleep , Found couple other off putting things , but the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. Well still visit extended stays just maybe not in that area of town
Positive: I had order 2 rooms 1 room was 2 11 11 and it had a real bad BO the next room the room was stripped down there was no its no covers on the beds and what I saw the mattress was disgusting I have video I have video and pictures Negative: There were sanitary napkins on the steps Used there was no housekeeping no general genital clean up And everything I asked the front desk she was not able to provide would never recommend your Long Beach Establishment.
The front desk stuff so rude and unprofessional we ask her a simple thing she is not willing to help us or even to talk to us while we’re talking to her she is doing something else and answered us rudely I don’t recommend anyone to stay there unless you don’t have any other options.
Dirtiest hotel room Ive ever had the disgust of booking i came to long beach for my 11 year old daughters beach soccer tournament there wasnt many other hotels available last minute and i regret ever paying for this disgusting place . I had to change the sheets because they seemed like they didnt bother to change them which is disgusting. Im pretty sure they are not following covid-19 protocol which is so damm unprofessional and disrespectful to its the paying customer i definitely will recommend everyone to find any other hotel this is my first night might have to cut our stay short and make the extra drive back and forth.
I have spent hours on the phone with Extended Stay Customer Service Representatives to request a refund. The Long Beach location was overbooked and didnt bother to notify me or assist in finding another hotel. I was charged for the room!!! I want my money back. Im thankful we did not stay as the hotel is disgusting.
My issue has been resolved, but what i found today put the icing on the cake. Seeing a dead roach on the window seal was too much for me. This a very nice location but, yall need to fix these things. Out of all of them, i can honestly say this one put a bad taste in my mouth.
The room was roach infested. They were in the drawers, on the desk, on the walls, and counter tops. They were in the bathroom and bathtub. I couldnt even sleep in there. I had to stay an extra night and requested they change my room she told me no they couldnt do that but offered to have maintenance come in and spray the room and I asked if they were going to clean the room she said no. I stayed there for 3 nights. I will not ever be going back to this location ever!
Only star given was for the lady at the front desk who was super kind and friendly when we checked in Friday evening. There was a lot of riff raft hanging around the parking lot when we pulled in about 10p, should’ve known that was a tell all sign what to expect. The halls wreaked of cigarette. The moment we walked into our room the smell of cigarette was so overwhelming I called the front desk and asked if I could get a non-smoking room I was told all the rooms were non-smoking. So I asked if we could be moved to another room being my son has bad asthma and was told they had no other rooms available.I contemplated on sticking it out but it was too much, the smell, along with the cleanliness, which was lacking greatly, paint chipping, not to mention the do not have trash cans anywhere in the room, TMI but when it’s your time of the month uhhh what am I suppose to do??Anyways we ended up gathering our things and going to the front desk to check out at about 1145p. No one was there except housekeeping who said they would leave a note for the morning and someone would be contacting me.We got a room at the Marriott near the airport. No one has called me, in fact I’ve been on hold for an hour and 15 minutes so far waiting to speak with someone.
The dirtiest hotel I’ve ever been too, 3rd floor room 328 was the worst!!!!!! WE HAD ROACHES COMING FROM EVERYWHERE, Roaches in the spaces of the door frame, Dead roach bodies in the bathroom and in the cabinets, Not to mention LEFT OVER food in our Refrigerator....I was completely disgusted when asked to change rooms we were not able to change rooms because a woman at the front desk said they were “Booked up” The hallway stinks, The elevators are sticky and gross....It’s a waste of money
The hotel only gave us 1 towel in our room and Then when I called the front desk to ask for another they said they have a shortage of towels and that they would call me when they had more available and I never received a call. And I had to ask for cooking ware 3 times.
First room smelled like somebody had just lit up a cigar and a joint at the same time. My second room smelled of pepper - yes, like black pepper all over the place - but it was the last one available. Some of the macro things were clean, there was a clean bed, tables and beds. However there were a number of quite uncleanly aspects. First, there was a dirty washcloth left on top of the shower rod. Second, there was gum stuck in the corners of the carpet. Finally, there was BLACK MOLD along the ledge around the top of the shower. Housekeeping obviously needs significant improvements. Lastly though, I want to point out that the staff were very kind. Get some of the cleanliness pulled together - deep clean those carpets and scrub down the showers, and things will head in the right direction.
We attempted to check in at the desk. They told us they had no vacancy. The app we were using on our phone said they had rooms. We booked a room through our phone while still standing at the desk and it confirmed us and like magic we had a room.... frustrating. The hotel had no ice maker...they gave us ice trays to fill and put in our freezer in our room😂 we asked for 2 extra pillows and they looked around in various rooms while I stood at the desk for about 20 minutes and could only find one. Our room was supposed to have a fully furnished kitchen but we had no silver ware so we had to go to the desk and ask for that. Lol. All in all I think the staff was just as frustrated from the lack of accommodating ability from the hotel as they were very very sweet and tried very hard and were very apologetic. Very dog friendly atmosphere and the back of the hotel had several grassy areas to relieve your dog. Grab and go breakfast could have more options. Coffee was great... but the cups they have out with the coffee do not hold! The coffee leaked out from the bottom and made a HUGE mess in the car so be careful!
It smelled of urine in the hallways; however, staff was so nice that it made up for it. My hotel room smelled fine and it was literally just the hallway. It isnt the biggest of deal because the main reason I was staying there was to just sleep. I was only there for sleep and showering and it was a really great spot for that. It was also cheap and easy to get to. Again, the only problem is the smell in the hallway.
This location was adequate for the two nights we were there. The room had two double beds (not queens) so we were a little squeezed. The staff was functional but not very detail oriented. I went down to get a couple of towels and saw a sign about parking permits. Apparently, they were supposed to offer them when we checked in but it somehow slipped through the cracks. The second day we were there, I noticed magnetic signs for rooms with pets. We had our dog with us, which the front desk clerk verified was listed, but they never offered us the sign and we had the dog on a least with us during check-in. You will need to watch what is going on to make sure that you get everything you should. One of the policies the hotel has is that guests must take their own trash to the trash room located on each floor. There was also a problem with homeless people sleeping on the picnic benches at night and I interrupted an amorous couple behind a building on the back lawn while using the designated dog area. Be careful and aware if going out at night in this location.
This place appears to be a nice family/corporate extended stay hotel, but its amenities and less than one would expect. The biggest complaint is that the rooms can hardly be described as fresh an clean. My fear of contracting bed bugs sent me to the pharmacy to get a shampoo that I promptly used when arrived home. Taking all clothing directly to the washing machine, and steam clean every suitcase and throwing away any bags or items that could potentially harbor any unwanted pests. The staff was friendly and helpful but didnt seem to be aware or capable of commenting on the bed bug situation, they did manage to retrieve cleaner linen, when I called to complained about the towels on the rack having hair hanging off of them and the color or the wash clothes appeared either soiled or needing the addItion of bleach to their wash. This place is priced right and has a lot of potential, new management could turn this place around quickly.
This hotel was in a great area not too far from a powerlifting meet I was attending, and centrally located to lots of food places as well as stores in the area. The room was of average size for this price range but with great features including a small kitchenette with stove microwave and full size refrigerator. The service was amazing! Patricia was very attentive and did whatever she could to ensure a great evening, including but not limited to, giving us a choice of floor we would like to stay on and giving us cookies and water as we waited to be checked in. The hotel is very clean and staff was friendly, the breakfast was a little lacking to be honest, but I wasnt very hungry anyway and really only wanted the coffee which was hot and fresh. Definitely a top choice should I be back in the area any time soon.
The first customer service person was great. But even then, when I checked in at 4:15pm the room was still not ready. The front desk said they knew it was supposed to be 3pm, but they were very behind. I waited and was given a room, with a small discount, at 5:25pm. They could have kept the discount because the room was pretty bad! Check the pics... and the hotel itself had a bad environment. It was loud, smelly and the room was in bad shape. people were hanging out all over the place, smoking dank and drinking. When I decided to contact the front desk to tell them of my concerns and that we would be cutting our stay short, I reached for the phone and after searching the entire room, there was no phone. It was not plugged into the wall and It was not in the room. so I go down to the front desk and told them we would not be staying the two days as reserved and would be checking out in the morning. She was pleasant and assured me they would refund any balance if over charged. Okay, fair enough. We go to sleep and wake up early to leave this place... we were assured coffee was in the room... I looked, nothing. Then I remembered I had seen a used coffee machine and cups outside of the room, in the hallway the night before when we checked in. Well, it was still there the next morning and I can only now imagine it was ours. Altogether, not a good experience at all. We had stayed here before and was only one star higher, so we gave it a second chance, if the trend continues the next step is a one star, no thanks!
Worst hotel I have ever been to. Walked into the door and there was no one at the front desk for about 10 minutes. I asked a maintenance man where the front desk person was and he said they were upstairs checking on rooms. As I was waiting, the phones kept ringing with no one answering. The woman employee that helped us earlier in the morning was rude. The only good employee at the desk is Greg who happens to be the manager, not shocking at all. The room was very stuffy/smelly when you entered. Below is a picture of the shower rod.
There are multiple things broken in the room. The fridge also makes a really loud noise and it doesnt keep the food cold.... REMEMBER THIS..... just b/c things are broken doesnt mean that Im not happy with my stay. Id recommend this b spot to other people and Id also stay here again.
I would only recommend this place as a last minute no where else to go kind of place. Beds are rock hard, and when asked for extra pillows always told they are out. Only house keeping offered is for an extra $10 per night, and if you want fresh linens or towels you have to take the old ones to front desk, and then they will give you new ones for you to make the bed and things yourself. Showers are horrible and have no pressure what so ever. Continental breakfast is very lacking, simply only offering grab n go items. Staff is mediocre, and doesnt seem to be in a big hurry to help when things are needed. Would not recommend this place for more than a night or two at most.
Our room was next to the supply rooms and laundry area on the first floor. The room smelled like it had been smoked in for years and then left to air out during a dust storm. The carpet was so nasty. It had red, sticky stuff all over the floor. Then We spent half the night on the phone with their Comcast service trying to get our TV to work.which they never got working. And to top it off, i paid $2.35 for a can of soda that got stuck in the vending machine and the front desk told me they couldnt do anything about it so i paid another 2.35 for another soda in a different machine and it was hot and flat.
Very noisy. I work 3 12 hour shifts as a nurse and stay during work days then return home. On check in, I was given a card of rules. One rule said quiet time was 10pm to 8 am which was perfect. However, a large party of men reserved most of the rooms on my floor and partied well into the night propping doors open to share music out in the halls and very loud yelling. I called the front desk and was told the Mgr would head right up. 30 min later still the same noise level. I called again and was told he called and told them to keep it down (how did he know what room to call?) He then said he came up but when asked why he said he called, replied thats what I meant, I called another 30 minutes, no relief (well past midnight now) I called again and nobody would answer. I let it ring 40 times and a woman came on so I repeated the story. She told me I should probably just call the police. I was willing to overlook the obvious neglect of the hotel to have a full kitchen but sleep is more important so I will not be staying here ever again. Disrespectful and lazy staff, questionable security, no thanks.
My sister and I rented two rooms right after Christmas to do a gift exchange. I planned this ahead thinking it would be a great way for us to celebrate with our husbands . When you enter the lobby the place reeks of smoke! There is carpet all through the place and the smoke is obviously in the carpet! The receptionist was really nice and accommodating no problems there. The cleanliness of the room was NOT up to par. The carpet was dirty, the microwave was old, it took a while to heat up food, I found hair on the bathtub and on my pillow. I took pictures of this. The building is so nice from the outside I feel deceived! :/
Customer service was okay. We got to our hotel room as planned. But when we got into a room, after about 5 minutes, there was a cockroach which was crawling near the bed side. This was already not a good sign since it also made us quite uneasy. Then when night had fallen, there was so much noise from the floor above. It felt like some drunk person was just repeatedly stomping across the floor above us. And it wasnt just temporarily, it was like constant stomping. We just couldnt handle it so we had to call in someone to tell the person in the top floor to quiet down. They did quiet down till it happened again a couple of hours later. Wasnt really a great night sleep if you would ask us.
**Great customer service personnel****Location is not terrible*****Extremely Poor cleaning standards with basic chores as: wiping down walls, where debris is visible from previous guest dusting, cleaning office chair with food stains.***** Bathroom was not cleaned properly.**I was stuck there temporarily due to major home repairs and was sent here involuntary. I hated every minute of it. Ive stayed in cleaner hole in the walls in the true hood, that was better equipped to meet basic standards and beyond, to their guest. But overall, COVID-19 would to blame like always.Even understaffed, you have made a commitment to your employer to abide by company standards and quality control. Even if your rates are somewhat reasonable and you are able to meet 75-80% occupancy doesnt mean you take shortcuts. Always take pride in your position regardless of what it entails. If you choose it then give half measure towards the quality of YOUR performance or efforts, it doesnt necessarily berates the hotel in itself it actually tells a story of what kinds of human being you are and the way you do business in the society.
First room I was given had roaches, second room was fine. Keycards dont work that well every day I had to get new ones. The staff was probably the best upside they were friendly and helpful. I stayed here for about three weeks, definitely will stay somewhere else next time. If you want barely decent wifi you have to pay for it, costs 6 dollars a day. The kitchen area worked fine electric stove and microwave. Bed was comfortable bathroom adequate. The backdoor was constantly propped open, notified the staff but it continued to happen.
I liked the location of the property. which is close to a lot of other hotels that would have been far more phenomenally better than this one. This is by far the worst hotel I think Ive ever stayed in. It is absolutely mind-blowing how they are still in business. The facilities are very run down. three of the five lamps in the room were broken not like bulb without broken no the bulb was hanging off of the lights. One of the lamps plug was so crooked from people moving the bed previously to me staying that it was a fire hazard. Much like the lights hanging off. The floors were very dirty and the wallpaper in the bathroom is peeled off or peeling. The bathtub where the water goes down the drain is broken. And the kitchen faucet was rusted out. Outside of the room the facilities is pretty dirty. I know they allow animals to stay but these fluffy hair balls were blowing around when I came in and when I checked out. I was disappointed to hear there was not a continental breakfast like Expedia suggested, but Im also very content since this property is so dirty Im sure I would die if I ate their food. The staff were very polite and seem to be very over-worked since there was only one person manning the desk who also had to do all the laundry and check in and out all of the guests.
Stayed a few times here and some rooms are better than others, 2nd flr, each time and theres never not been loud stomping from the rooms above and worse was the refrigerator cycles on & off but with a loud clunk noise that makes it impossible to sleep since it clunks every 15 mins, windows couldnt get them closed when they were open so the ac wasnt able to cool room. For the price and the rooms for most part are clean
Stayed here for 6 weeks for work. They lock you out weekly and won’t tell you. The first time it happened I was locked outside of the hotel. Luckily the housekeeper let me in. The staff was rude and snarky every interaction. Be careful they charged my card for WiFi and that doesn’t work well and I plan on challenging it. They will have you pick a day for House keeping. They will half ass it and not make the bed most of the time. My coworker came back to his old sheets on the floor and folded ones on the kitchen counter. We plan on never letting work send us here again. The parking lots always dirty. And the windows don’t close the whole way. Seriously just skip this place and do yourself a favor.
STAY AWAY. I cannot tell you more than to stay away. I wouldn’t stay here even if it was $20 a night. I’ve been here for over a month (for a company) and it hasn’t gotten any better, no matter how much I complain. The hotel reeks of weed and/or cigarettes EVERY NIGHT, even though it’s a non smoking hotel. Mind you, the fire alarm in the entire building just went off. The people are noisy, my sheets don’t get changed, the housekeeper looks like she only has one good eye, don’t know how you’re supposed to clean a room with one eye. All of my surfaces I clean myself, because they SURELY don’t do it. You want housekeeping to come after a certain time? Don’t even bother asking, they’ll knock on your door 4 times and come in anyways. I asked for my toilet to be plunged since there’s no plunger in the room at 2pm, it’s now 1030pm and I came back to a toilet that is still the exact same as I left. All of the front desk associates need a class in customer service (which I’ve been in for over 10 years now). Take a hint from my review as I’ve stayed in all different kinds of hotels, all over the world, with all different price points. There’s a seemingly nicer hotel next door, I’d go there if I were you.
This hotel is nothing like how the pictures look. I have severe itching and pains right now from the bed bugs in the hotel. The inside is dirty and has a stale smell. Walking into a room here is even worse. Seems as if no cleaning has been done. These people give out dirty rooms and act surprised when people come down to complain.
I love this hotel. I have stayed here on and off for the past couple months... Going back and forth too Airbnbs. And every time I like this hotel better. Nobody is in ur business. If u need something, just go to the desk and ask. It has some stains on carpet and a couple other things that arent perfect, but I like this hotel. Especially if u stay for long periods of time
It was terrible! I stayed twice before and it was okay for 1 night. But this time I went in the room with my puppy and in 2 minutes she was covered with fleas and so were my ankles. We moved to another room. It was better. But I had to cancel our plans because I had to get the pup treated for fleas which cost more than the pet fee. So Ironic. I wont be back. Third strike.
I got room 105 at this place and was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. The room was obviously not swept as there was trash on the floor and what looked like pubic/animal hair in the restroom next to the toilet. And the room smelled like cigarettes with and urine. Customer service was good and the clerk in front was very helpful, and about the only good thing about this experience.
This hotel is extremely dirty and smells terrible. They also don’t tell you it backs up to a event venue that has events all night long with very loud music and crowds along with bright lights that shine in the room. The channel selection is limited and the volume doesn’t go down so I could at least try to drowned out the event noise with some low white noise. We stayed her for my son’s competition at the Pyramid that we didn’t get much sleep for. Would highly recommend not booking this hotel!
Dont go to this hotel whatever you do. Carpet and couch were filthy. They cleaned them and put a blower fan on the wet, saturated carpet. While sleeping. The maintenance man ENTERED my room!! He claimed he didnt think I was in, as I was supposed to be at work. WHAT??? Because I work nights, and happened to be off, I was in the room. I complained but the manager just stated maintenance was just picking up the fan and can enter the rooms anytime between 8 am and 9pm. He entered at 855pm, so he felt it was okay. I was locked out of my room 3 times due to the electric door not working. This doesnt sound to bad, however I work nights and was locked out for up to 4 hours AND had to go back to work that night. Room was saturated with mold, despite cleaning the air conditioning system, there was a LAYER of white dust which deposited on the tv, dresser and bed every day. The manager offered for me to stay at their sister hotel across the street and stared he would honor the same rate. They didnt, and charged my credit card a WHOPPING 4000!!! I called corporate and made SEVERAL complaints with pictures, times, dates, and persons I spoke with. Corporate said they would resolve..... this was August....it is now January and NO RESOLUTION OR CONTACT FROM CORPORATE!!
Nice front desk person, but I had to wait to get my room key due to a dispute of another customer complaining about being unfairly charged and without warning. They had also brought up waking up with a roach on their bed one night. My stay was only over night and I did see one small flee at one point. Those things, while not great, didnt ruin the whole stay. The place appeared clean enough and had a conformable bed.
Typically I have great experiences at Extended Stay America hotels. So when you read this review, note that this if for this location only:The shower pipes produced an extremely loud noise whenever the shower was being used. We had a short stay so decided to wait to mention this when we checked out. Upon doing so, we could not find any employees at the front desk. Calling the front desk produced no response. We then called the after hours phone line and there we were also unable to reach anyone.I put this in a review on Extended Stay Americas website and one of their associate contacted me directly (they sent me a coupon for a free night). So I will say that when problems are noted, they definitely take action to make sure they keep your business.
I absolutely love it here. I dont know what the other complaints are about. The staff here is great!. These rooms are basic set ups for the long stay working person. I havent seen any bugs or vermin and the room is cleaned as expected. I only hear people on the weekend..nothing disturbing ..its reasonable in price. ESA is doing a great job...kudos
The room I was in was terrible. The carpet was ridiculously dirty. The bathtub had water stains and was filthy. The room had an odor that smelled like UNTIDINESS. On top of all that NEVER did housekeeping come by to check to clean the rooms. We had to call everyday for toiletries and towels. We were told that they clean the rooms ONCE A WEEK! wth!. Anyhow that was my experience and I would NEVER GO BACK! Good thing we came with our babysitter/helper Britney Lauti Suesue...😜😜😚😚😚
My check-in went smoothly and only took a few minutes. I wasnt bothered by anyone knocking at my door. I was able to get cooking supplies when needed and face towels. The room was clean from top ro bottom and I loved that. The only bad thing is that the hallways smell like animals.
If there were a magical place where common courtesy did not exist, it would be this hotel. The guest use this place as a cheap alternative to staying in the immediate Los Angeles area. The guest routinely come in the middle of the night drunk and high, yelling down the halls, laughing, and slamming doors. Patrons are of very low class and are full of self entitlement. The staff are very friendly but seem to be very poorly managed and lazy. Almost feels like a halfway house for the incompetent and the degenerate of society. There are some working class that stay here for extended contract jobs and many of them are very well behaved. One night at 2 am my smoke detector had started beeping indicating a low battery. I called the front desk to report the matter (Granted they dont staff the front desk during late hours) and the house keeper answered. She seemed like she was still asleep as she was not speaking clearly. When I told her about the smoke detector beeping, she simply told me to rip it out of the ceiling and then hung up. Speaking of fire alarms: the fire alarms routinely go off from people smoking pot/cigarettes in their rooms, causing everyone to evacuate all hours off the night until resolved. When I checked in, the microwave and the stove top did not work. I have been here a month and still not fixed. The hotel is located next to an extremely popular community event center that routinely host outdoor dances. The music ranges from ethnic Mexican horn blaring music to horrible dub step/rave music to the nastiest of rap music. I actually enjoy most of the music, but it is not great when you have to wake up at 5 AM for work. Being in such close proximity, the music regularly will not allow you to hear your TV in your own room. This music generally stops before 11PM.On most mornings when I leave for my contract job, I witness other patrons that are reporting problems with their stay: such as dirty rooms, noise, and non working items in the room, and there just seems to be no effort to fix these problems. It is just followed with a blank stare and an apology. Its just kinda sad because this is not a bad location. Would highly not recommend this location unless you have no other options. There is a reason it is cost friendly. I dont see this hotel staying in business for long unless some of these blatant problems are resolved. If you are non working child or adult and enjoy drugs, and do not have a inkling of consideration for others, and need a really cheap place to partake in the degenerate things in life. This place has it all!
How did housekeeping miss this? I guess she couldnt do much since there was NO TRASHCAN in our room. Extended stay? Couldnt stay more than one day with how they ran this place. Had to call two times for dishes and utensils to be delivered to my room, and both times they didnt come. Receptionist was quick to put together our dishes, but I had to go to the front desk. House keeping made me feel unsanitary and unsafe.
This place was absolutely terrible! Besides the 2 front desk agents that tried their best to help, my room was flithy. I called the front desk to have a manager come to the room to show them that we had dirty q-tips and potato chips behind my night stand, we had clumps of black hair in my sheets, bugs in our blankets, dirty pillow cases, something that looked like blood on the comforter and what looked like pubic hair in the sheets as well. So after waiting 25 mins for a manager or at least a phone call to move rooms, we received nothing. Now at 11 oclock at night, after traveling for over 15 hours, we decided to change hotels. As we where leaving I was told that there was no night manager and unfortunately the manager had not called back the front desk agent. It has now been 5 days and we have not received a refund yet and when I called and talked to a manager the next day they were extremely rude. Do not stay here!
This is ridiculous I used to stay here years ago with my company and now this place doesnt even have a single thing in the kitchenette to cook with you have to ask for even paper towels all the way down to one fork.Ive never been treated like this before and any sort of hotel out of the thousands Ive stayed at traveling around the country with my company.By far this is the most disappointing stay Ive ever had at Extended Stay America all the way from cleanliness is way down two light fixtures and room are not up to par.Ive stayed here several times in the past 6 years in this place has went from a 10 to about a two.Very disappointed in what I paid for and did not get. The list could go on and many pictures could be added I shouldnt have to take the time out of my relaxing night of a hard day of work to do the work of a manager of this hotel.
Its conveniently located, but I felt sorry for the concierge Sallie ( hope her name is Sallie), as hard as she worked to accommodate guests, she was by herself and couldnt get things done as quickly as guests expected. She did a great job with what she could, this place should be at least a two person site, if anything for her safety. Thank you Sallie for all that you do for this place, hope you will get more help. Thank you for doing your best service with me.😊👍
Only stay here if you cant sleep in your car. This place is HORRIBLE!!. Room smelled like cigarettes and urine. The only good thing was customer service. Room keys kept deactivating. Sometimes all entrances dont open. People play loud music in the fake court yard in😖 the middle of back parking lot at night. MY SON HAS SKIN RASH pots😡 and pans sat outside a room for 24 hours. If you want a hood experience this is the place ! I could say more but it would be at least 500 words. 👎😵
DO NOT STAY HERE!! FILTHY! I had the misfortune of staying here 19 days. BEDBUGS!! I have bites and pictures as proof. Dirty carpet. My white socks are no longer white on the bottom. Sheets were changed once in 19 days. Bedding had nail polish or lipstick. Blanket and bedspread very rough and scratchy. I cleaned bathroom myself every day. All drains were backed up. Toilet had to be plunged every other flush by me. Urine odor from air conditioning unit. Curtains smelled like smoke. Cigarette burn on bathtub. Supposedly its non smoking. I was locked out 6 times. Shady people. I saw 3 condoms in the hallway. People smoke and drink near parked cars. I found and empty beer can on my bumper. Of course i reported all this to front desk. THEY ARE SORRY!! So am I!! SORRY I HAD TO STAY AT ESA!!
So we booked through Orbitz, Orbitz booking didnt go through. Very irritating. Adam was very accommodating in getting us a new room. Yay! We went up to the room, and there were bugs. Not yay. Adam was very kind and gave us a refund and some cookies. Would never stay here again. But Adam at front desk really did his best.
Stealing is the practice!! Prepaid for a room 3 days and was informed that the room was sold and hotel was booked. We were given 2 options and 1 was to go to another facility 15 miles from our intended area without offer of transportation to the hotel and 2nd option was to cancel the reservation with a refund to be submitted in 4-5 business days which will leave you without necessary funds to obtain a place of your choosing! Very rude and defensive and the booking website Hotel Planner just as rude and very poor communication between booking site and hotel. Mind you each entity has contact information but no one was able to call and inform us that our room has been sold even though we prepaid for it! Customer service representatives were rude and defensive and provided the rehearsed corporate line of insincere apologies and no option of showing proof that your money is being refunded. Very poor I would not stay at any of their properties!!! our reservation was for 3/20-3/25/2019
Not impressed. Understaffed. Rooms were not ready, plumbing issues, no staff overnight, phone was broken. Breakfast is muffins, granola or instant oatmeal. Dirty diapers in the parking lot, empty beer bottles in the grass. Dirty floors throughout. Trash overflowing. Staff was very kind but issues could not be resolved without proper staffing.
Left a message for the manager to call back. We will see if he does call me. Dont stay in this hotel. The room my husband stayed in was dirty. There was a big noticeable wet stain on the carpet. The real kicker is this - they stole my husbands pack of razors. Immediate after he checked in and left for the evening, someone came in and took it off the bathroom counter.
I have stayed at this hotel and at the one in Anaheim on several occasions and cannot complain. Rooms are clean and modern, front desk staff helpful, plenty of parking.LOCATION: The area in Long Beach where this is located is completely safe and just a few minutes away from shopping, restaurants, medical facilities, and attractions. The same can be said for the Anaheim location on Clementine.AMENITIES: I like that there is a laundry room, vending machines, free breakfast, and a kitchen in each room. Dishes, pans, and utensils can be requested at the front desk. They will give you whatever you need... including clean sheets and towels, extra pillows and blankets.PRICE: Not dirt cheap but reasonably priced. Nearby competitors are more expensive.FOR WHEELCHAIR ACCESS: Fully accessible, spacious rooms with large bathrooms featuring a roll in shower or bathtub/shower combo. Beds are comfy and level with most wheelchairs for ease of transfer. I cannot say that for the Marriott chain. The beds there are much too high :(For the price, this hotel offers everything youll need in a clean and safe environment.
It is true that most people only review when they have had either a great or terrible experience. This particular location was horrific. The night staff was rude and practically nonexistent, not to mention there were roaches in our room. Roaches! I should not have to wake up scared because there is a roach on my bed. I do not recommend this location whatsoever.
Im Very Comfortable with my decision to make my reservations here 😌 Its very Clean Quite And the Staff are Professional Polite And Respectful And has even allowed me to be Personable, Old people like to talk and this old man feels better acknowledging And being acknowledged, basis pleasantries goes along way
The room was clean &the establishment was quiet. I enjoyed having a Michener tell with the large refrigerator and the stove top to feed my friends home style. PET FRIENDLY HUGE A++++++++++ GLAD MY FURRY BEST FRIEND CUD STAY WITH ME! !!!!!! :))))) rreasonable price on the kitchenette with 2 beds
If I had spoken with others before booking I would not have stayed here. Since then Ive heard their horror stories, so I know my experience is not unique.I chose the hotel because of the proximity to my temporary workplace and the apparent value based on the Marriott next door. The feel of the facility was more half-way house than hotel. The daily breakfast emulated a gas station mini mart, nothing like a continental breakfast anywhere else Ive stayed. Having the fire alarm go off because someone was smoking pot in a non-smoking room was an added treat.Sorry - the last hotel I visited in Las Vegas was a true mini suite with two distinct sitting areas, an amazing bathroom, daily room service, and a real continental breakfast available each day. It cost me the same price as this hotel.I will not be back.
I made a reservation and upon arrival, I was told that they were overbooked. A few weeks later I noticed they charged my credit card for staying there. So I called and they said they would be willing to refund the money. You better refund me. What about the interest accrued on the charge?
Bad customers service roaches everywhere were and I am still staying hear ....got random people knocking in my door while my kids are sleeping no respect .how do I supposed feel when I go two work .Iam uncomfortable. Ps Javier cardenas and I have been buying poison for roaches and disenfect products two stay clean and sanitize my unit
There was a lot of mix ups this visit. We asked for a room with two beds and a sofa bed we booked that room in advance when we showed up a day or two later we were informed that they sold out of those rooms even though we made the reservation ahead of time. They also informed us that they do not offer roll away beds/cots and maid service doesnt come till you check out. The staff while polite enough is not very helpful.
Too expensive and run down. This place was dirty and old. The pictures on the web site do not paint the right picture. These pictures are the true look inside the hotel. Also the beds and pillows were uncomfortable and the shower had no water pressure at all! Dont do it!
Room is supposed to come with basics, cups, plates, bowls, silverware, dishclothes, however they seem to be out of everything. Having to go back over multiple days to get everything. The longer the stay, the worse this place becomes. Ran out of coffee during breakfast hours and was told it will be 20 to 30 minutes before some would be ready. Room was cleaned today, no wash cloths left in room, no fitted sheets on the bed, the sheet that is on the bed is extremely wrinkled like it came off of someone elses bed.
Dont stay here. I repeat dont stay here.Never stayed at a hotel where I would only get housekeeping if I stayed over 7 days and if I do want housekeeping prior to 7 days itll cost me $10.The place is understaffed and when I say that, only 1 person behind the desk. He is handling checkins, checkouts, customer complaints, computer requests; you almost feel bad for the guy. No manager on staff, no secondary person to help out, no nothing. Simply horrible. The place is so dirty. Jesus. There is a Radisson next door and a holiday Inn across the street. Save the aggravation and just stay there.Again, I repeat, do.not.stay.here.Corporate greed at its finest.
Avoid this place at all costs. We booked a room directly through their website and paid using a credit card. At the time of arrival we were told that the hotel has been oversold and that they could not honor our room. They offered to send us to John Wayne airport which is 20 miles away and as long as an hour by car in traffic. In my many years of traveling and dealing with hotels, this was a 1st. The sad part is that we had used this hotel in the past and this will unfortunately be the last time.STAY AWAY if you want to travel with peace of mind!
Only plan your stay here for one or two nights at most! Shower heads have NO pressure at all, beds are rock solid (not comfortable), housekeeping is an additional $10 charge per day, staff is mediocre, no pool or hot tub available, and continental breakfast is worthless for what you pay per night!
Very simple hotel, you get the minimum. Does the job. The free breakfast is help yourself to coffee/tea and a muffin early in the morning. Air con works! Beds are comfortable! You have a to go down stairs and ask at the desk for pots/plates/cups/bowls/forks and knives and also got to ask for new towels and toilet roll if needed as they dont get topped up/ changed. There wasnt a hair dryer in the bathroom so bring your own! The windows dont open all the way, but again aircon worked so it wasnt a problem. WiFi is Ok, slow at times but its free. Shower is quite good, had two pressure options!5 min drive away from airport but 25/30 to the beach depending on traffic! Too far to walk. Hope this helps. (Stayed for a week)
Guys! Stay away from this hotel! Arrogant recptionists(not all), they dont know how to deal with customers. After paying money we have to suffer a lot. This is the worst hotel i ever stayed in my life during my US trips. Also they need $100 cash as security deposit upon checkin which i never ever heard anywhere else. Some of the front office girls considers us as servants.Really fed up with the WiFi here.11-16-17: Breakfast is just some oat milk and oatbar. No way to get some drinking water.Rooms are not properly serviced, there is an oven and a cooktop and we can also get some cooking utensils on request and we have to get it from the arrogant ladies at reception. Long beach domestic airport is nearby. Gas station nearby. Snails are even faster than the wifi here.
Wish I could go negitive. Was supposed to syay here Thursday-Saturday. Had a late flight so called the hotel twice on Thursday morning making sure tgey knew I would be in around 130am. I was assured by both people it was not a problem. Until I got in at 130am and the lady at the desk told me I she had no room for me plus a lot of others. Really are you kidding me? I prepaid for my stay through Expedia and the desk lady told me I had to call them because she had nothing for me. Be careful staff confirmed twice that my reservation was good for a 1-2am check and even with that I had no room after a 5hr flight and a very long day. DO NOT BOOK HERE YOU MAY NOY GET YOUR ROOM!
Worst experience ever, the hotel seems dirty, one of the pillows on the bed had lipstick on it, their mattress was hard as a rock, and the lighting in the room is horrible. I couldnt sleep because you can clearly hear the guests walking on the top floor. The company I work for booked a room for me to stay two nights, and I checked out out first thing in the morning, and Im planning on never staying at this hotel again.
I will never stay here again. Had to stay here when my family was out of town for a funeral. Only here two days. Now all the sudden I have bed bugs at home that weren’t there before staying here. Over 600 dollars in pest control later I’m going to have to throw away all my furniture away and start over which my family doesn’t have the money for! Oh and there was mold all over the bathroom. Thanks extended stay
The staff is accommodating, but spread to thin. This hotel needs to do a better job maintaining the outside appearance, (trash pickup) especially in the back of the property where loitering occurs frequently. Inside maintenance is minimal at best. Housekeepers are allowed 25 minutes max to clean rooms? In addition, security is not visible on this property, thus some guests and visitors get away with criminal mischief. This ESA property provide minimal amenities (No Ice)?Ive seen better ESA locations, specifically Anaheim, CA
Got a good deal on room so it was worth it. No bugs crawling around so automatically 4 stars. Only thing was cleaning staff loud on the phone while cleaning rooms and its next door to a banquet hall so they have partys that can get loud, wasnt louder then staff calls so I didnt mind it much.
I was in Long Beach for a funeral and we needed a place that was close to the funeral area and many of the hotels were booked.Fortunately, ExtendedStay was not only near the funeral area but the price was affordable. My brother and I need a quick room and the customer service was fantastic, the beds were comfortable and for the most part, the hotel met my expectations as it was clean and comfortable. No worries of outside noise or neighboring rooms.
The staff is friendly. The facility is interesting. If you are expecting the Residence Inn, stop right now it is nothing like it. If you are expecting minimal in Suite/Room then this is the place. There are no bowls, plates, utinsels, coffee pots, etc, basically nothing in the kitchen. No dish detergent, soap, etc. No one is available to bring up what you need, you must go to the front desk and get it. Also, no paper towels are provided, everytime TP is required you have to to go the front desk and get it. The grab and go breakfast is not different than most motels however, it is perfect for the person on the run. You will pay the same as the Residence Inn next door. Also, the elevator breaks down constantly. There are post it notes on the buttons explaining if you need to hold the door open it breaks down. Also, if you get stuck, press the emergency button and maybe it will start again. The halls smell a little but they is because everyone puts what has been used in the kitchen in the hallways. Not sure why. The rooms are ok if you want to stay overnight or even two nights. It is perfect for those who only have minimal needs. Again the staff is very friendly.
Ive been here two months and the hotel is managed terribly. Ive had plumbing issues since Ive checked in and only until yesterday ha finally someone tried to fix it. The pipe must be so clogged the smekk coming from tem is so horrible, it nauseating.Half of the time the hotel doesnt have towel or shower curtains ready when u need them. The halways constantly have dishes and pots and pans sitting out for days. When I asked the manager carlos who job that was ,he replied his. I then told him he s lacking and that dishes shouldnt be sitting out for four days plus , he immediately was rude and make excuses for his lack of work ethic. The staff is lacking because they have weak and incompetent management. Thete are those few employees that I have seen that do go above and beyond for each guest. They will always apologize if there is an issue and try to resolve it. The two best employees are Rachel and Bernice. They always give service with a smile and I notice that they truly give that same care to each ,the existing and the new check ins.Im a very patient person so I havent made a huge fuss over having plumbing issues for my entire stay, althit is running over $115.00 per night. Crazy you woud figure once I made a complaint to the extended stay america costumer service and told them about the rude service Sina at the frint desk gives.still no follow up no resolution. Ive have had the worst customer service directly from Sina, she has told me I can not have toilet paper when adked, when my children turned in the comforters dirty for old,she did not give ys clean ones, infact she gave us te same dirty ones. I know because of the soda I had just spilled on one was there. I was so appauled snd in disbelief, to be so lacking in basic human common sense and moral standing ,was very disturbing. Now if only they could repkace those fw bad apples and get a better moe costumer serviced enthusiastic manager, then I know how great tat pace would run. I say give the management to Bernice and Rachel they have the best attitudes always friendly and kind. They seriously always give the best service. And in fact go beyond for you each time. Just check in for a few days or week and youll see first hand what I am talking about.
I have stayed at this ESA at least 10 times this year for work.usually 7/8 days at a time.Mini-kitchen is nice. Full size Frigerator is great. The staff is friendly and always gets me the room I want.Location is good. This area of Long Beach seems better/safer than most.Grab and Go Breakfast is fine. Muffins are good.If you are a neat person and keep your room clean..once a week maid service is a non-issue.Internet could be faster.. but its fine for emails and surfingand I did watch HBO GO fine with minimal buffering.TV has all the main channels needed..ESPN ESPN2 ESPNUCant miss college football.Overall this is a great hotel for a medium price range. Also takes Corporate Lodging Cards. So does the Holiday Inn a block away and I could stay at eitherbut I will always stay here.
My wife decided to add a few days to our Disney vacation because we didnt have to go back to work right away and we were having so much fun in California. So at the last minute I had to find a hotel at a reasonable rate. Upon arrival the building looked OK from the outside and the check in process was relatively quick and easy. This is where it gets bad...As soon as I stepped into the room it felt damp and musty; nothing looked fresh, the floor, kitchen, bathroom, bed, nothing. But we were adding unexpected cost so whatever, just deal with it... My son started playing with his toys on the bed and one fell and went under the bed. My wife turned on her phone light and lifted the bed skirt to retrieve the toy. To her disgust she found a USED CONDOM covered in dust and let out a horrified gag. I didnt believe her so I looked for myself and as sure as the sky is blue there it lay.... I FREAKED, went straight to the front desk and demanded a refund. As I was packing up the little that was unpacked I discovered the single chair in the room had something running down the side of it, the side that faced the bed and should have been spotted by house keeping. I also discovered a small yellow pill in the corner of the room. I dont know what the pill was but to be on the floor for any child to pick up and swallow is just plain negligent. Needless to say this was my first and list time I will ever stay at any Extended Stay America. SHAMEFUL!
COCKROACHES!!! 😵Not very clean. Trash rooms are piled up. Probably why they have cockroaches. I say this because I woke up with one on my pillow. Im shocked this place has 3.4 stars. I know its cheap but really misleading ratings. They dont even have an exercise room or ice machines.
Worst Extended Stay Ive ever been to dirty every other guest was wearing a mask management was in the back chit-chatting while the line got longer only one young lady that was in the front desk with worth 10 star review she was very helpful and accommodating can get her vest in spite of the other two in the back laughing and having a great time
I love this place. The guys that work there take their time with you and make sure you are getting just what you want. No hard pressure selling there. And they have a large selection of merchandise. Please do yourself a favor and check them out, you wont be disappointed.
This is another one of those franchise independently own where they make their own unreasonable rules, policy and have different way of doing business then those that are operated by the corporate. My corporate company made and paid for the room online as they do weekly in various city for business traveling, when I was checking in here they wanted the corporate company to be present with their ID. If you have a reservations make sure not to show up before 3pm, they will make you wait till after 3pm even if they have plenty of rooms available.

2022-05-10The corporate office drop the ball on this location. The area is amazing. This place would have so much positive potential if they took this place seriously. I’m not sure if it remains outdated to maintain being affordable or what. From the outside it looks exactly like the picture. The inside 🤦🏾♀️ honey where do I begin. Let me say this though… to be near the airport, it was extremely quiet at night. We slept okay. The beds weren’t comfortable but the noise level was cool when house keeping wasn’t around. Our room was directly across from the housekeepers closet. So we kept hearing a door slap all day. Night was fine. We saw a roach 🪳 in the bathroom. Ear plugs were on the floor. I don’t think the floor was cleaned, vacuumed at all. They changed the sheets though thank god. If we didn’t have a funeral to attend the next day and we drove 6hrs from Arizona… I would’ve canceled and went next door to the Marriott where most of our family were staying. I asked for extra towels, rags and the front desk gave me discolored kitchen towels, some were ripped and shredded rags 😂… the complimentary breakfast… isn’t breakfast… furniture dated and looks like it’s been a while since it’s been seriously cleaned, red stain on bathroom sink, remote to the tv didn’t work and it was filthy. Front desk gave me a fresh remote. Stains everywhere from the lamp shade , to the floor, chip paint, dirty loud bathroom vent. The stainless cleaner they used to clean the elevator made me feel sick from the smell and the elevator still didn’t look clean. Paint smell and stainless cleaner had my head hurting. The plus to staying here is your near all the shopping and restaurants. Some within walking distance and a lot a couple miles away.

2022-02-27Genuinely if I could give this place a worse review than a 1 star I would. For starters my room was ready an hour after i initially checked in.Not even 2 hours into my stay, 2 roaches crawled out of my kitchen drawers and found there way around my room. This place reeks of cigarettes and pot and there’s ashes out cigarette buds all over the parking lot. Please for the love of god find anywhere but hereEdit: upon staying at this bug infested hovel of a hotel room, I checked under the bed to find my socks and I found an empty liquor bottle and an empty buzzball along with bits of food and other things of the sort. With all that said and me waking up to a lovely view of a police station. This is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in

2022-02-11If I could only give zero stars...I reserved a room for four nights, but checked out after the first night. Upon checking in on Friday afternoon, I was informed that there were no towels in the the room, but some would be brought by later in the evening. After a day of travel, I was looking forward to a shower, but oh well... Went out that evening with friends, returned to the room around 9:30, and still no towels. Getting a tad frustrated. Went to the desk and was told by an indifferent clerk that none were available. Hmm... The next morning at around 8 am, I went to the desk again. The rudest clerk I have ever encountered told me, without even looking up (busy with paperwork, I guess) that no towels were available, and that I shouldnt even ask her when they would be. She said that she would be lying if she knew. She finally made eye contact, and in a hostile tone asked me if there was anything else. I went back to my room and packed to leave.Returning to the desk, I informed the clerk that I would be checking out, and wanted my card credited for three nights. In her charming manner, she told me that she couldnt do that, and that I would have to call the corporate office on Monday for a refund. Fast forward to Monday. Corporate tells me that refunds are handled at the local level, and that I needed to call the front desk. Catch 22. I did, and a much more competent desk clerk handled the refund promptly. So, terrible service, no towels, what else? How about a dirty worn out carpet? A table next to the bed with some nasty caked dry substance on it? Chipped wall paint? Overall dirty condition? Yes to all of the above.Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

2022-05-29During my visit, it was a long night because of late night traveling. Once arriving, I was checked in by Veronica. She was very professional and enthusiastic during my visit. I would also like to give a big thanks to Nick!!! Very cool individual that is very respectful when approaching and can help you out for your future inquires. Big thanks to both individuals!

2021-12-28When I arrived and checked in they showed us 2 separate rooms that hadnt been cleaned at all. Completely thrashed. The last room (which is the one we stayed at) was dirty. We asked for non smoking and it definitely smelled like smoke. The floors were sticky. The light didnt work. The sheets and blankets were gross and looked like it was just thrown together. There was a whole in the window seal. And a cockroach fell out of the fridge. I had no choice but to stay because they had my money for a hotel. I tried to talk to the manager the next day and they were not there. Very displeased by my experience and honestly want my money back. I would not recommend this hotel and will not be returning to it either.

2022-01-19The room was over priced at $130 a night. There were pans with food left all in the hallways by other guest. My room did not have a remote control therefore I couldn’t watch tv. Also, while laying across the bed a spotted a big black rat running across the floor. I jumped on the bed and started to scream. I called down stairs to notify staff because I refused to sleep in that room after I saw that huge black rodent running around in the room. The staff member acting like she didn’t believe me. I checked out of the room and hotel immediately. I want a refund.

2022-04-03While room was clean, my only complaint was the fact there were NO towels or cups Im the room whatsoever. I called from evening until 7am. I was told that the ones they had available were stained but treated. Not exactly happy at all.

2022-04-06The staff is nice however this hotel is extremely outdated. I feel bad that they have employees working in such bad conditions. The smell of the hotel is awful. It smells like cigarettes, weed, and Russian cream. We sadly came here as a last resort since we were having issues with the plumbing at our home. The rooms were dirty and had an awful smell. Could not sleep because of the smell and knowing how dirty it was

2022-06-04This place is running a under the table scam where theyre profiting off of financially vulnerable tenants that pay in cash. Theyre charging cash tenants high off the book rates while shaving profits off the overcharge. Andrew, which is the location manager is in charge of this scheme thats been going on for quite sometime. I ADVISE YOU TOO PAY WITH YOUR DEBIT CARD AND ASK FOR A PRINTED RECEIPT WITH A SIGNED & PRINTED SIGNATURE UPON FRONT DESK PURCHASE. Also, please know that this fraud ring alters the natural process of your booking because these rooms are controlled by a portable kiosk that he will show you to present false availability or unavailability so be prepared to dispute your original booking format(Single,Double)...He mainly operates this scam through the 2 double bed rooms because their cost is more than the single double. Sometimes hell sell a single like a double or sell a double like its a single. The ins and outs can be complicated if you dont understand the foundation of this scam. You have been warned. Im in the process of taking further action to have this location audited. Beware.
