Ive been here for a couple of projects, the staff has always been extremely helpful. They have bulk items such as bark and gravel for purchase, a good selection of pavers and hardscape items from calstone, belgard, and basalite. They have a separate desk for hardscape ordering, very helpful staff there for various ideas. Just expect it to be dusty in the parking lot with a lot of potholes from the trucks going in and out!
I have been renting their trailers for years on the weekends but this Saturday I was told no. They were saving the trailers for cement only. That is okay but the man at the desk was a turd about telling me. All thr gals at the desk are great but for this one man. Sigh.
Amazing family business. Very fair and practical also knowledgeable. Good place to go for all your rock, dirt, wood chips, paver stone, and concrete needs. Easy to support people like this.
Their prices are a bit less than other places...but dont count on them to be on time....not even close. This has happened twice now. When you call, all you get is excuses. If you can block the WHOLE DAY, it might be worth going with them
A great place for garden supplies, pavers and baserock, sand, different landscaping materials the prices are reasonable for most items and the service is very prompt. If you have a pickup truck or a trailer you can get the signed or talk right out. Its located in the edge of downtown San Jose so its convenient for pretty much all of East San Jose Willow Glen and downtown San Jose the staff is very informative

2022-03-13We got 2 cubic feet of 2-6 stones from them, which initially looked great and delivery was prompt and friendly.But as we used up the stones from the top of the pile, we found a lot of sand and small sharp stones hidden underneath. Two wheelbarrows in total, which was a lot of work to sift out.Wont order here anymore.

2022-06-10I ordered pavers and double checked if they have it in stock and they gave me a delivery date and coordinated with my landscaping guys only for them to say that now they don’t have it in stock and will take 4-5 weeks. Apparently they do it all the time from what I heard from my landscaping guys.

2021-06-01Marlene the cashier/associate was awesome! Had some issues with our receipt and she advised to speak with the manager and helped us work things out. Very polite and just doing her job professionally. Thank you once again! Great products and reasonable prices. Bought 6x6 pavers and she helped tremendously with our order. Very fast service with the fork lift guys too! Overall was satisfied 😌!

2021-09-17This is a good place. Lots of pavers, rocks, bark, etc. I only wish the yard crew was more helpful. They sit in their bucket tractors on their phones texting or reading. You have to contact them. They dont ask how they can help you. Weak customer service.

2021-05-12Only place I found in the south bay that sells smaller amounts of materials for the bulk pricing. I bought rocks for a landscaping project by the (fill yourself) bag for a fraction of the cost at Home Depot/Lowes.

2018-09-21This place is a great find! their product is great my husband and I got half a yard of the pro potting mix and well see how our plants like it, im sure well be back for more!we came in and the lady at the desk was great and helped explain the two potting mixes and the garden soil so we could choose which we wanted.but then we had an issue with what i was quoted on the phone vs what I paid and the second girl that helped us was rude and not helpful at all. but luckily while I was explaining why i was upset by the issue a guy from the back walked out (manager maybe?) and helped the new girl understand that he was there to help and took over. He was great! textbook example of great customer service, explained he was there to help and explained what happened, what he could do to fix it and took care of us. I didnt catch the girls name but he asked is she was trained on returns yet so i think she was new, but his name i think was Frizen?well for the owner of this place please give that guy a raise! we would likely have canceled our order and not returned if her service was all we got, but he has made us return customers we can wait to re do our school garden with you guys!

2019-10-11Buyer beware: You might not agree the volume delivered to your home by Evergreen.We have experience buying base rock from Home Depot delivered to home. We used our way to calculate the volume. The result is fine.This time, we bought from Evergreen. The rocks are delivered in the morning, we calculate the volume same way as we calculate Home Depots delivery. We find the rock volume is short.I call Evergreen my orders volume is short .Instead, Evergreen customer services told me they might give me more volume than I order.
