Very bad customer service, have no communication or knowledge about costumers neeeds or how to deal through a rental from insurance .We rented a car because ours was in the auto shop, as soon as my husband went and picked it up Rachel told him it wasnt cover by the insurance ( we were getting the car through the insurance so of course was covered by it), of course my husband got the insurance to it and it was close to 50 dlls a day for itWhen we went and try to fix the problem and explain to them they did not offer many options but only cancel it and not wanting to give a refund even though it was double covered, so they charge my husband over a thousand dollars on top of what they got from our insurance, all what we heard from Aaron the manager was ..We are a business, they are a business, either one is going to get your money very unprofessional and shows how much they care about customers
Rachel is extremely rude. She wouldn’t let me talk, and kept talking over me when I tried to verbalize my concerns. She was not reassuring. She kept rushing me off the phone and even began projecting her voice over the phone at me. Very nonchalant and unprofessional demeanor. Don’t make a reservation here. Go to another location. They’ll just give it away and force/persuade you into a vehicle you didn’t reserve.
I rent from here because of the proximity.The last two rentals have not had a full tank of gas. One had half and the other a quarter.The first rental, the check engine light came on and I had to put air in a tire.The second rental, I had to put air in a tireThese were for long trips. The first car, the check engine light would come and go and there wasnt any noticeable noise or performance issues so it was most likely a sensor. But both vehicles needing air in a tire... Its a good thing I know about cars, but I can only imagine someone going on a trip and getting the tire pressure warning message appear on the instrument cluster. Its nerve-wracking either way.Update: They never have the car you reserved readily available, you have to wait. Management is rude, taking my business elsewhere.
I am a Senior citizen so I checked out renting a car thru the AARP & Auto Club. What I discovered is I could get the same rates dealing direct with Enterprise! The experience was smooth, flawless and I received a FREE upgrade! Did I spell that right - FREE! Rachel, the Manager, is most excellent in her quest for you to 100% enjoy your experience. So forget so called group discounts - GO DIRECT! ENTERPRISE!
Manager was terrible to me. I had to go back 3 times because of car issues. Second car wouldn’t shift and I was treated crazy. I told the girl I had my car stolen and I had been thru enough this week. The 3rd car I was placed in as I go to drive away the girl comes back after I signed paperwork to tell me I can’t take that car because it was reserved. Total mess. Never ever again will I use enterprise.
A car reservation that was not reserved. Waited an hour THEN a crew went to another location to pick up 2 cars. I reserved a full size sedan but was offered a kia optima or gmc thing which I took since I had already been there an hour and a half! Oh & the guy said I see you reserved this car last night (it was early eve). You should have reserved your car at least 24 hrs in advance. My reservation time was noon. Not happy with customer service, not happy with car.
Completely new staffGoing from over 10 years of having military discount to taking that away is a great way to show you care about your service members and VETERANS. But dont worry those of you have USAA can get 5% if you book through them. This country continues to show service members they do not matter every chance they get, typical!
We had made a reservation 2 weeks before hand at 10:00 for a car. Once we got there, they told us we had to wait 2+ hours. We had very important reservations so we couldn’t wait that long for the rental car. They were very unprofessional. I don’t recommend anyone coming here.
This site is the best Enterprise I have used. The staff customer service is superb. When they are busy they handle it like champs and make you feel that they are doing their best to lower your waiting time. All staff is very friendly. I will rent with them again in my next trip to SD.UPDATE Oct-03-17This year we rented with Enterprise and I noticed a lot changes since the last time I was in that location. The service was not as friendly and helpful as before. They didt explained the details about the charges and they gave us a car in a different price range when we reserved another. We didnt noticed this until later because they ran us trough the process very fast as if they wanted us to leave as soon as possible (the location wasnt busy to justify this). The new process with the tablet is more efficient, the problem was that they took us trough the process with a sense of haste as if they didnt wanted to notice the charges. After all is our responsibility as a costumer to double check the charges, but that kind of service and treatment makes it an uncomfortable experience. I hope they see this review and address that issue so they can be the best Enterprise location in the San Diego area once again.
After making reservations online with all my information days before and still had to wait one hour and half becuase the car wasnt in. The employees were apologetic but Enterprise if you need to wait for cars to be return and rent them out the same day wow. I know business is slow but you have to be kitting me. You will loose me for life no more Enterprise.
Come to this place if you have an hour of your life to spare. There is always an hour of waiting so be ready for that. Other than that the people who work here are awesome its just that they always short on people to help making things faster. Thats the only problem. Other than that awesome place
Lady didnt seem to care to help the customer out. I had called that enterprise location earlier in the day and they told me to come pick up a car at 5 30. Once I got there at 5 30 they told me they couldnt give me a car because there was something wrong with them, but earlier that day they told me they would reserve one for me to pick up at 5 30. Bad customer service. Dont bother going to this location.(7/20/2020)Its been a year since my past horrible experience and I must say this time around it was much better. Yesterday, I rented a car for today to pick up. When I went to pick it up, they said that they have no car that day, even though they accepted the offer, and then they said to wait so that they call to see if there is a car. After almost half an hour they said there were no cars. It was a horrible experience, I basically reserved a car a day before but, when I got there, they said I still had to wait, even tho I waited, there were still no cars available.
Long story, but I will try to make it short. I rented a car for a 3 day corporate trip. On the day that I needed to pick up the car, I had to visit our corporate office in Mexico. Knowing that Enterprise closes at 6, I left the office with what I thought was enough time (3pm). Needless to say I was wrong.The boarder wait time was 2:50 hours. I called Enterprise (I believe the manager a young lady picked up) around 3:10 to let them know that I might be a couple minutes late. She said no problem, just keep us posted. That was nice to hear. After stressing out and sitting in the boarder for 2:30 hours, I called them again. She picked up again, and I explained that Im really close to crossing but should be there 5min past 6. She said Sorry, we close at 6. Its state law that we cant stay past 6. I explained that I have a really important trip and this is a corporate account that I need that rental. She said Sorry, but we close at 6 and my guys cant stay past 6, its a law.So, now Im stressing out even more. Im trying to push myself across the boarder to pick up the car. I finally crossed at 5:51. I called her again and said your location is 10min away from me, Ill be a couple min past 6. She said, I already told you that we close at 6 and my guys cant stay past 6. If you make it and we are still here, we will rent you the car. (Quick reminder, this is a corporate account). So I take off like a bat out of hell towards Enterprise. I get there at 6:01, no one seem to not be in a hurry (I heard someone say is he the corporate account). This was the ultimate I just do the minimum type of attitude.Here is the kicker, when I returned the car 3 days later, around 5:58 pm, there was a gentleman on the phone and I heard him say yes mam, I can wait a few minutes past 6 so you can get here. Well... WTH!Service is important to me, as it is with everyone else. I get it, you might have somewhere to go, you might need to pick someone up, but... Dont say that your guys cant stay 2 min past 6 when they can! Anyways... The guy who gave me the car and the guy who I returned the car too were really nice. The car it self was nice, clean and drove GREAT! Unfortunately for them, my customer experience was dreadful. Lets just say I wont be renting from here again.

2022-01-11The only reason this location is getting 5 stars is because of Aaron Pearson!!! I can’t even begin to tell you - he provided the best customer service experience anyone should receive. He was super friendly since day 1. The moment we entered the door, he was the only one that greeted us. When I had issues with a rental, he was quick to resolve the issue. Aaron already had the next car lined up for us. Yesterday when I had to turn it in - he made it a smooth transition. He honored a credit in our account because of some stolen Christmas goods👏🏽 Aaron, in all honesty, you have been the most incredible employee we met. We’ve always had a bad experience at this location. I will be brutally honest, everyone in this location needs a change, especially in customer service. Even with the car rental shortage, Aaron was spot on! You need people like him to represent the Enterprise corporation. Not people hiding in their office, knowing they have a line of customers.Aaron, I hope you get the recognition you deserve.

2022-06-16Awesome customer service. I would like to commend Steve/n for going above and beyond. I wasn’t comfortable driving a big car and he called another enterprise to see if they have a smaller car and drove me there. Would highly recommend this location.

2022-05-23The car rental was fine. My issue has a lot to do with the contract they have with Wawanesa and I’ll be talking to my insurance about their end too. My insurance says I can pick up my rental at any location. I call the closest location (north Chula) and they tell me my reservation is at this location. So I come here. I drop off my car and ask for a shuttle and base off where I’m currently living they say no that I can take the car to the other location to get a shuttle there. It’s pretty frustrating, and that option was ridiculous. To drive across town to get a shuttle that is closer to this location. Literally my address was 4.5 miles away, and the other enterprise is about 5-7 miles depending on route.

2021-04-22This Enterprise location totally changes my mind about my past experiences.My brother got a rental from Enterprise located at Flushing, NY. Everything was fine when he returned the vehicle.However, about 10 minutes later when he was in the office waiting in line for paperwork, a guy came to the office and told him there was a dent ON THE TOP OF THE CAR ROOF! 👎👎👎👎👎👎And that guy used a ladder, climbed up, and pointed to my brother the location of that dent!😒😒😒😒😒My brother ended up paying for the repair. And he had no ideas where that dent came from!🤬🤬🤬🤬That happened 10 years ago. And for my family, my friends, and everyone I know of, I always tell them this ridiculous story. And I never ever got any rental from any Enterprise in the USA, nor do they.Two weeks ago, I had my very first Enterprise car rental in my life.To be honest, their car is clean, their service is friendly, their location is convenient to find.They also have a lot of car selections. My car rental was a Ford Fusion. When I drive that Ford Fusion, I feel comfortable, safe, and somewhat worry free.😁😁😁😁😁

2021-12-21I don’t know why I kept coming back to rent a car from this location. First of all, I am here twice a year and the location is perhaps convenient from where I am staying. However, if we speak about availability of vehicles and customer service - this location failed that categories. Every time I picked up a car from this location - I ended up waiting for over an hour for a “car”. It’s inconvenient and a waste of my time sitting in the lobby waiting for returns, then on top of that - “the attitude” of the Branch Manager and the employees. (I should be frustrated not them.) It is not the customer’s fault why this location is running tight on their fleet, so please stop the attitude. Be more understanding and pleasant to your frustrated customers. The Branch Manager should have contacted their customers first and inform them about the wait times rather than have us wait in the lobby. Be more efficient next time!!

2021-08-06I loved that the Enterprise Rental was able to pick me up from my home. They did not have my car that I choose ready. But they had other vehicles ready to go. I said the car will have to have some speed and air condition. No problem, I drove a smaller SUV. Drove very smooth. I really enjoyed driving. I forgot to bring my cell phone charger cord. No problem again, eventually the SUV ECOSPORT was already connecting to my cellphone. Had a Beautiful Day of driving.
