Have a severely depressed grand daughter to the point of possibly Suicide. Called Eldorado mental health center to get some help. After initial interview by phone on day 1 had to wait until the next day for an assessment by phone day 2 then we had to wait for a supervisor approval to find out my grand daughter was not severe enough. Eldorado mental health recommend that we go to Marshall hospital. What a joke. Glad she didn’t try to commit suicide. I would not recommend Eldorado mental health in diamond springs to anyone that needs mental health services it’s a waste of time go directly to your nearest hospital.

Before Covid I was blessed to have received the help I got here. I took an option for group therapy and it was a great experience. It has been almost a year past but I still use the techniques they taught me every day. I can easily say that EDCMH changed my life in a positive way.

A complete joke. It took 2 weeks until I received my initial screening call. I was then told I would receive another call from a therapist. Well, that was three weeks ago and I have yet to hear anything from anyone associated with this circus.

El dorado mental health in placerville is an absolute joke. I went there when i could no longer afford to visit my dr in carmichael. They refused to give me the antidepressants that i was on even though it meant that i would go though withdrawals which i did. Told me my psyciatrist was overperscribing and probably under investigation (i had been on the same dose for 10 yrs). I have NEVER had a worse experience. Luckily, i am now seeing my psychiatrist again. She has indicated that she has everything documented and will support me if i chose to pursue legal action. If i could have, i would have given them 0 stars. They are useless. This was/is not a fun drug or a drug that would be abused, its called effexor... an antidepessant that allows me to function.
