I had been living in a studio apartment at Eaves West Valley for 3 years and was growing out of it. When it when time to renew my lease I was looking at other apartments at Eaves and else where but I have really enjoyed my stay at Eaves so hoping to stay. After looking around I realized that the newer deluxe apartments in Eaves were definitely my favorite so I called and visited with Monica who was awesome! She said that one of the apartments similar to the one I was looking at had a special of one month free! I would have given her a hug if I wasnt on the phone! 😁 I was trying to figure out how to swing having to pay rent for 2 apartments since I had to put in a 30 day notice for my old apartment. So I was able to move into my new apartment as of the 1st and had a month to move in. Rob was extremely nice as he helped me out with the paperwork, etc....I dont know how to thank Monica and Rob enough for the easiest and most stress free move Ive had in my live. They were absolutely amazing! 🙌🏻 I LOVE my new apartment! THANK YOU, Monica and Rob ❤️I must add that the maintenance crew is top notch!!
Great management and maintenance staff, dog friendly, great pool and hot tub, close to shopping and freeways. I enjoy exercising and often have a hard time deciding what activity to pursue - BBall, tennis, swimming, or using the on-site gym. Measha, Jennifer, and Robert have quickly and thoughtfully addressed any issues that arose during my tenancy. Maintenance is quick and thorough and they do an outstanding job. The only big issue in my mind is the lack of proper security as there are too many issues of theft from balconies and common areas as well as car break-ins. If there was an individual with a live walkie talkie patrolling both during the evening and early morning hours I am certain the theft percentage would decrease. Additionally, as the warmer weather approaches the influx of non-residents using the hot tub and pool increases. It would not be such a bother, but these individuals are often loud, obnoxious, and rude to the folks who actually live here (I feel sorry for the folks who live near the main pool area during the summer). Surprising that Avalon permits this as I would suspect there is legal liability potential .
Updated on 07/23/2018:Ok, why there is still BREAKING noisy landscaping at 7:55AM Monday??????????? On weekday? And you are forced to wake up before 8AM no matter you need to work in day or night???? Just because you are living in here???? It’s like polluted air and dirty water supply, not tolerable.Updated on 07/12/2018:I lowered the rating on last Saturday morning because I heard great landscaping noise befor 8am on Saturday, which was realy annoying. But today I got a call from leasing office and told me they have rescheduled all the landscaping to 11am during the weekdays, and last weekends early noise was really an accident. I am really happy to hear back from them and this community can make the necessary changes upon customers needs.Commented long time ago:Its beautiful when looking out of the window and found there is a mountain. Isnt it? But this position also gain a lot of pain, too NOISY sometimes, please figure out how to reduce noises between 6am-9am on WORKDAYs, landscapoing , why this early? Especially Tues and Fri that need towing garbage bins, I always could not get enough rest because the noise broke my sweet dreams.Otherwise , this is a pretty good community, good service and utility, and good price. I only doubt my choice when the noise comes to shake me up of the bed.
We are very happy staying at this beautiful community for past 3 years. Community is well maintained. The staff is highly professional. All our maintenance requests were promptly taken care off. All the amenities are great, its very rare to find a place with so many amenities. There are Amazon package lockers in the community which saves the hassle of dealing with a package delivery. I would highly recommend this community as your next rental.
The maintenance team and customer service team are really great. It took less than 24hrs for them to complete the work from the time I submitted the request through the online portal. Kudos to Jason the maintenance guy, he was super helpful and nice! My building is really quite and the neighbours are nice. I think that experience really depends on the building and I might’ve gotten lucky. I like the amazon hub and I can receive the items securely.
Seems nice until you move in.Homeless people in increasing numbers around the property over the last ~year, and now even inside the property.A (possibly homeless) dude walking through my hallway in circles smoking a cigarette at 8am.Office staff sadly seems to care a lot less once youve signed a lease. Once had people trying to enter my apartment constantly for over a week due to the self guided tours the office was letting people do. I complained to the office multiple times, but they took no action until my 4th complaint, at which point I had already taken it into my own hands and put up the signs they should have put up more than a week prior to guide people to the correct apartment for touring. The place is disgusting and unsafe. Constant car break-ins - just check the surrounding streets and youll surely see the broken glass or even entire shattered car windows on the sidewalks. Some of the gates to get into the community are open 24/7. Neighbors have been about 50/50, some fine and some entirely disrespectful of everyone living around them. The security is a joke and this place is becoming less safe by the day. To Eaves West Valley staff - HIRE MORE OR BETTER SECURITY! and not just at night! This place is turning into a 24/7 disaster. Please start taking this seriously.UPDATE 1: I spoke with Robert from the leasing office about the security issue and he told me “you don’t pay for safety”. Take your money and run.
Kameka is the best agent! I came in today to look for an apartment for my mother and my mother and I wanted to tour the apartments. The other lady I do not know her name she told me no I have to book online. I was highly upset at first because I drove down from hayward and I felt I wasted my time. kameka was busy with another person. She came over and asked me if i was okay. It was really kind to hear that she not only just cared about her job but how I was feeling. I shared with her how I felt and she really took how I felt into consideration. She dropped everything with a smile and great attitude. Very happy girl. She took a post it and asked my mother and I for our I.d and took my mothers email and phone number down. She came back very happy with a great attitude saying I made you an appointment and she would help my mother and I out and assisted my mother and I through her companys covid screening. This world needs more people like her! She did not only care about her job but made sure we were okay. That surprised me! She had the patience and did not just hush us off like the other girl in the office... thank you kameka! YOU ROCK!
We have been living in this community for more than 8 years, and we are very happy with the community and staff. Maintenance team is very helpful, and especially Jose(One of the nicest and helpful person). Office staff is also very helpful especially Donald and Mesha. I would definitely recommend this community for rental.
Ive lived here two different times and its really not a bad place for a one-bedroom. The buildings are older, but the management team does the best they can to keep them going. Honestly the biggest downside is that they will raise your rent every single time theyre legally allowed to the maximum (currently 5%) amount.
Overall I liked my stay here. These are the pros and cons I found while living here:Pros:====1. Prime location : Close to several shops and offices2. Very well managed: Whenever I faced any issue in my apartment, these were fixed within one day. In my previous apartments, such issues used to take weeks to fix. Management also takes effort to organize events even during covid time which is great.3. Rent: Decent4. Amenities: Nice gym, pool, tennis courts, basketball courtCons:====1. Walls are thin. So you are dependent on neighbors to be considerate and keep voices low. Unfortunately, that was not the case in my apartment and I found it hard to sleep sometimes due to noice from neighboring apartment late at night.2. Packages: There is an amazon locker inside the apartment. So for small packages that is great. However, for big packages which do not fit in the locker (like bed, appliances etc), I found that couriers (especially amazon) drop these off in wrong buildings with same apartment number. So I had to report them missing and reorder.+Others:Rental Deposit: I left my apartment in average condition. I got half of my rental deposit back which I thought was decent.
I have been living here for several months now, and so far I have no complaints. I like that everything is very close (freeways, restaurants, mall, etc.) Staff is very friendly and responsive when we need something fixed. Awesome activities, great amenities, we love the food trucks every Wednesday! Gym room and pool area stays clean!
I am a long time resident here, and I’ve experienced different corporate changes at this location. At Eaves, anytime I needed help clarifying something or submitted a request is always taken care of. When I call the office. I will admit not everyone who answers the phone is helpful or knowledgeable but I have to mention Donald Robert and Christina.Donald is helpful, kind, patient and has the willingness to help you. If I run into him around the property always says hello and even though he’s wearing a mask I know he’s smiling!Robert, when I found out he’s working in the office I was super happy, I couldn’t stop smiling, he’s, friendly, helpful, so nice. Just like Donald if he sees you around in the property he always says hello, stops for a quick chat and goes about his business. I know he’s smiling too under that mask!Christina, I call her super woman. She’s extremely helpful, very friendly and super nice. whenever I needed her she’s always done her best to help solve my situation or at least listens to me vent patiently. She has done her best to accommodate my needs and make sure I am happy here at Eaves. I have not always been easy on her, i can get impatient but Christina has reassured me throughout and gets back to me every time she says she will. I trust her 100% she’s simply wonderful! While I’m here I want to mention the maintenance crew. They are awesome! Thank you for coming to the rescue when I needed you.I am happy here, this is home and I can’t imagine living anywhere else. Nothing is perfect but Eaves is a safe place to live, I know the office staff does their best to keep us informed and safe. Donald, Robert and Christina are great assets to Eaves and we are very fortunate to have them work at this office. They are the absolute best!! Thank you guys!!
Professional, efficient, meticulous, knowledgeable.I am running out of positive words to describe our experience with Jason S. the savior. We just had a major clog issue with the kitchen sink. Jason reached out timely and resolved the issue with ease. He was so patient that he explained all the nitty-gritty details and shared with us a plethora of important appliance usage tips.We are very grateful that Jason S. is the one managing this part of the complex. I would give him 10 stars out of 5.
I have been living here for a year. I have only good experience with the leasing office, maintenance - very prompt fixes, cleanliness, laundry room, pool and the reservation during pandemic, online payment system works well and the renovated studio I’ve been living in is perfect for me. Nice floor, nice appliances and new kitchen and although I live in building H, I hear no noise from the Saratoga Ave, my patio is facing the opposite direction and that’s enough for making in quiet. I recommend this apartment complex.
Just moved into the complex, Mesha was my leasing agent and she was super helpful and friendly! Everything was explained throughly , helping to make my move a smoother one. My only suggestion was I see some other Residents really put too much trash out in their balcony patio lowering the value & appearance of the property . Maybe the staff can come up with some rules about that to make the place look nicer.
Conclusion first:I do not recommend West Valley, if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful home (dog barking, etc...)Here is my experience and observation to help others make an informed decision about living in Avalon Bay West Valley :Downsides:1- This is a so-called pet-friendly community. However, it is not human-friendly. Management allows up to two pets per unit (including in tiny studios) and in some floors and buildings (some) dogs bark now and then, like anytime someone opens a door, even someone talks, a car passes, etc. The pet owners seem to care more about themselves and their dogs than their human neighbors. Some dogs bark for hours when their owners are not home. The management does not do or cannot do much about such noisy situation created by problematic and untrained dogs, even though the lease clearly states that the residents are responsible for the behavior of their dogs. Also, if you see dog waste on the carpet in the hallways, dont be surprised. If you are lucky, you might find a unit with not too many dogs around you.2. The appliances are old and noisy. > 20-30 years old or more.3. The management office in many cases is unresponsive to requests and maintenance. They barely answer the phone, and only sometimes respond to emails. Some of the staff are nice though, but cannot do much to help perhaps.4. At the end of your lease, they offer you to stay but at a rate higher than the rest of similar units they offer to newcomers. It is funny, because they lose residents by doing so. It is their marketing approach and they think they make more money this way, and they may do so!5. Some of the building are next to the street (Saratoga) and are extra noisy. In front of some other buildings, kids play loud. Some buildings are near a tennis court and noisy. Noise level is high in this property.6. Some residents walk their dogs with no leash. In general, some of the people who live in this property, dont care much about the rules and the rights of the others. Some other are professionals, though.7. Hot water shuts down in some buildings too often.8. Some of the staff may tell you something which is not in the lease. So read the lease first before you sign.Advantages:a. Murphy beds in some studios. So no need to buy a bed and mattress. Lots of closets as well are available. So studios are half furnished.b. Easy access to freeway 280.c. Flexible lease policy for any number of months you wish of course with variable price.d. Relatively green and walkable surroundings.e. Several buildings of this property are deluxe and have a better quality at extra cost.Rent:The rent is neither high nor low. It is the market price. But considering the nuisance, explained above, it is overpriced, unless you dont care about a dog barking on the other side of your wall in the middle of the night and waking you up, several times a week, or neighbors dogs bark for hours. Also, apartments are small compared to many other places. Some of the noise can be reduced if the staff pay attention to the well-being of the residents.
Avoid living in this place!!! I was transferred to this place for a short stay from Avalon in the city of San Francisco. The apartment is unlike any other Avalon apartments though it is under the name of it. The apartment is super old and damp. So there are many bugs inside of the rooms. The security is BAD since Ive seen homeless went into the hot tub and people arrested by the police few times. Apart of that, the apartment charged CRAZY HIGH fees ($600) from my deposit after my ONLY 2 months of staying. They claimed that was for carpet cleaning but there arent any stains or ruins on my carpet.
There are wonderful people in the community. Unfortunately the management team in general and Jennifer in particular have been rude unprofessional and unethical. I suspected mold in my apartment I hired a toxicology report to be done and I had 300 times the acceptable amount in my apartment and it stated it was fatal and toxic. I am in my twenties and Have been couch surfing and staying at friends. They agree to do something for me and bait and switch at the last minute. Again its Friday and they havent followed through.I am calling the local news station and I’m going to have them do a story they have 79,856 apartments in this area and I think they need to be reported. For the record , stay far far away.
I dont recommend this apartment! I have lived here for 1 year and a half, there are a lot of noises from maintenance/carpet cleaning truck during the daytime, it really bothered me when working at home during this pandemic time. But those things are still bearable, one thing that really makes me disappointed and even angry is the communication I got from the leasing office is really bad! I felt no respect from them when talking to the staff and they seemed not really caring about the people living in there. And they behaved so unprofessionally and rude when dealing with complicated living issues I have encountered.I used to live in a 2B2B, and in the middle of my lease period, I have added one friend to the lease, and the lease got updated since then. But for some reason, the first-month payment didnt get paid successfully thru the online system. I thought I was paid but it turned out that after 1 month later, I got a notice of vacating letter from my mailbox, and ended up with a $600 dollars penalty fee. However, during the time of unsuccessful paying the rent, I got no notice, even an email from the system and leasing office to notify me of the situation. This 600 dollars shouldnt be charged if they could at least like other communities send a notice to the door or emails or call. This is one frustrating experience. Another one let me totally lose my temper in front of the leasing office door. So I moved out one month earlier before the end of my lease because I dont like the apartment apparently. But I forgot to submit the 30-Day Notice right the 30 days before the lease end date, I sent off the email to ask about the situation right around 17 days before the lease end day, and around three days later, I got the email from the leasing office that asked me to write a form for moving out. I left the date of writing the form, but at that time I didnt know the form they required, there was one cell asking the date, I thought it is the date I filled the form but it turned out to the starting date of the 30 days moving, which means I need to pay additional money because of the late reply from them. So I went to the leasing office to see if I can modify the date, but they rejected that and kept saying they need to investigate, even though I have shown them the emails. WHY should I pay for your late reply???? But during the talk, there are two male staff were laughing at the date I put on the form, kept asking why you put the date into the form. I felt like they were thinking that I was dumb. SO DISRESPECT!!!!And also my roommate moved out and disappeared (not replying to any of my messages and emails)after I moved out without cleaning her room and her furniture. And because Im the person on the leasing that can pay for the penalty of the dirty apartment so I also asked about the financial responsibilities, hoped that I could get some warm suggestion about how to deal with the situation from the leasing office. But they have no patience to listen to me and saying that its not their responsibility to deal with my roommate relationship. And when I asked for cleaning the garbage in the room, they fooled me that they gonna charge me $100 dollars per item?????? Thats so dishonest. To sum up, dont choose Eaves West Valley, Eaves might be a good brand, but the staff working at the Eaves West Valley ruined it. and as a customer, I felt so mistreated.
When moving out, regarding returning the keys/fobs, they will record you as returning the keys on a later date than the actual date you returned the keys, thereby charging you extra for overstaying your lease. After calling both their local office and head office, they refuse to investigate or take responsibility for their mistake. In addition to that, they will charge you excessive cleaning fees as well even if you clean your apartment thoroughly upon move out.The apartment walls are also thin so it is very noisy, I can hear neighbors talking even if they are talking quietly or tv at a low volume.
Great apartments and the best location you can think about, freeways, stores and parks are all near by. If you are thinking about eaves West Valley ask for Robert Nowlin . Very professional worker that will make your application smooth and can answer any questions you might have. 10/10 service!
Lived there for about 5 years. Motorcyclists, look elsewhere. 1st floor renters do not plan on using the patio for light storage. If you can afford to live at these apartments, you can afford to look elsewhere as well.Your will get stuff stolen. Your will get vandalized. Your rent will increase the legal maximum every year. There really is not anything redeeming about this property aside from the maintenance staff who have always been exceptional.Long story short is, there is no interest in investing funds into helping common nuisances that only the renters must deal with. The only money spent on the community is to increase their own bottom line. Its a business, I get it, but throw us a bone every once in a while? And if youre not please dont make up insane excuses like floodlights and security cameras are not deterrents. If there was consistent damage to the front office, I am sure they would be singing a different tune.· Gate does not really work - constantly broken.· Motorcycles stolen consistently. (Have had my exhaust stolen twice. Buddies bike had his ignition ruined twice and holes cut into his cover to see what was underneath).· Windows smashed out to grab items both in the community and the parking on the street along the apartments.· Items stolen off 1st floor patio.· Security guards they hire drive through the apartment complex infrequently and when they do they are also playing loud music in the car so everyone gets a heads up someone is coming?· Took almost the entire security deposit from us on move out even when we said they overcharged us by about $200 it was blown off. We were just happy to get out of there (basically the cost of replacing the exhaust again which was only a matter a of time) and left. Corporate caught it about 6 months post-move and sent us a check!!The motorcycles got so bad to the point where I was putting my motorcycle in front of my car where I could monitor it from the patio. I would move it to the garage when I needed the car, but I guess someone still did not like that and keyed my car anyways??None of this is surprising, I guess, but what is surprising is the complete lack of interest in placing deterrents in. Simple items like motion activated floodlights and security cameras in /common/ areas would work great and go a long way in telling residents they care about your property. When suggested the front office said that “motion activated floodlights and security cameras are not deterrents’ which…I did not know how to reply to that mental disconnect. They are deterrents.I have even seen motorcycle thieves bring in U-Haul trailers with their stolen motorcycle so they could work on getting the ignition turned over in the parking lot against Blackford Ave. I called the apartments and they actually laughed at me when I suggested this until I said “if I stole a motorcycle, this is what I’d do. Steal it and bring it somewhere else to work on it” and then they took it seriously.Doubling down on efforts to decrease resident satisfaction, their unwillingness to improve their parking tag situation has also been breathtaking. When you get your parking placard you provide your license plate #. If your placard falls off by accident, you will be on the hook for a tow for the same equivalent as illegally parking there (~400-500$ just for a ½ day tow). This could be resolved by forwarding a spreadsheet of valid license plates in order alphanumerically, to ease look-ups, to the towing company. Some type of fine could be placed for not displaying it so that way the towing company gets paid for the effort but when this was brought up it was also shrugged off with “license plates are private property” which…is not true. I just cant with the front office.
This is a review for my mother renting here. Application process was easily done online. She didn’t hear back right away so she did have to call for an update but after that Robert Nowlin was super helpful from approval to moving in to even after. She even had some furniture that delivered earlier than expected (before move in day) and Rob helped put it into the apartment for her so that it wouldn’t be stuck waiting outside. Communication is fast and efficient and the area is really nice. So far so good. My mother loves it here! Thanks again Rob!
The staff is always very friendly and helpful. My husband and I moved in about 2 months ago and needed to have a couple of things repaired. It seems like the maintenance guys are very busy, considering how big this apartment complex is, but they still come almost right away and fix the problem either in the same day or a few days later, once they have everything they need for the repair. The people from the office are also very nice and always make sure to ask if everything in the apartment is ok, and if not, they try to take care of it. Knowing that so many apartment complexes are having bad a slow services, I feel very grateful and fortunate that this is not the case here. It is also very quiet. We literally never hear our neighbors.I have to remove a star for safety issues. There has been car break ins on and right outside the property and it seems to be happening pretty constantly.
Just moved in. They wont let me have a parking spot unless I pay extra 50$ every month. Additionally I have to be on a waiting list for 2 months to get a spot. This despite the fact that the half the parking lot is empty. And when asked if I can park in future resident parking, they threatened me with towing the car. Before signing a lease, they were very nice but onceyou are in, they dont care. Very unfriendly leasing office. Period.
M T Jacob1 review2 days agoOur apartment unit had a leaky bathtub faucet, unresponsive kitchen garbage disposal, leaky kitchen drain pipe, we called Rob from Eaves management who expedited our request; Javier from maintenance did a great job in fixing all of the issues. Great team work! This review is for the eaves west valley in Saratoga where we only stay. God bless.
Ive been here for about 6 months already so they had a one of their promos or specials. Refer a friend and get 750 off your rent if you move in by a certain time before my friend had moved in I sent an email inquiring how do they put a refer a friend. They said that they were at the time of move in well my friend moved in the next day. He said that he had put my name Bonnie Levy. So well a couple days later I called office inquired about it it stated that they would talk to the person that helped lease the apartment which she was on vacation. Then I was advised dont worry about it he has to be here 30 days anyways . 3 months later still did not get the 750 off my rent supposedly he not put my name but clearly thats the whole reason why he moved in so quickly so I can get the refer a friend bouns.
Ernesto provided a complete service for kitchen florescent light that was handled promptly, courteously, and professionally. Also he replaced a cracked outer covering of the light fixture. Then fixed the broken pull chord to the dinning room lamp. Thank you Ernesto for going beyond what was requested.
We were so excited to move here because of it’s beauty, but regret it as we’ve faced SO MANY issues in the year we’ve been here. We wouldn’t recommend anyone moving into these apartments unless you want to experience all the difficulties we have!2 weeks after moving in, we had TERMITES coming in from the ceiling and our bathroom sink overfilled with black water from backed up plumbing multiple times. If you have a car, don’t bring it here! We have 3 cars and ALL 3 have been broken into inside of the property and out in front. One of our cars had its tire slashed (along with 3 other peoples cars) inside of the gated parking lot. And, our motorcycle was STOLEN from inside of the gated parking lot. There’s no feel for security here and there are no cameras! We’ve been told they are not responsible and can’t do ANYTHING about damaged cars and theft. They literally told my roommate that we shouldn’t expect to be safe here. They wouldn’t send an email alert to all the residents about my stolen motorcycle, but they sent out an email about a lost cat!?Not to mention, a man tried to jump into our patio and break in at 3am. We alerted security, but were we updated afterwards or contacted? Nope! Most gates around the property are broken and don’t lock, allowing anyone to come inside. The gates to the garages are broken every month and while they say they’re gonna fix it, it just happens again. Also, there’s COVID and NOONE WEARS A MASK WALKING AROUND THE PROPERTY OR KEEPS 6 FEET OF DISTANCE. Anytime I do laundry in the laundry room, there are people who aren’t wearing masks! Oh, and our laundry room actually caught on fire one night. We weren’t sent an email or alerted about what happened the morning after. The customer service of the leasing office is TERRIBLE. They’re so quick to try and get you off the phone. The maintenance team is AMAZING though and has always kept the best communication with us about our service requests. But brace yourself if you plan to live here.
Eaves West Valley is a great place to live. They provide affordable rent with enjoyable amenities. We love that they offer a gym, pool, tennis court. etc. The leasing office staff is friendly and quick to respond. The Maintenance work done so fast especially Javier Castorena is great who is really very good at the quality of maintenance.
I have been a tenant at eaves West Valley for awhile. My most notable observation during my stay has been the dedication and professionalism of the members of the Office and Maintenance teams. They are proactive in their work performance. On occasion I have had a maintenance issue in my apartment or required some assistance with a paperwork or lease question. The eaves employee would ask me if there are any other problems or issues that they could also address. Very much appreciated! The apartment complex is very well maintained and also is pet friendly. I look forward to the scheduled Community Events that offer the opportunity to meet and greet your neighbors and enjoy various refreshments. For convenience eaves is centrally located near some major shopping centers. I regard eaves West Valley as my Home.
They treat you as they please regardless of how nice or understanding or patient you are with them. Terrible service. People at the front desk keep saying different things about one subject. How do I know whats right or whos right? Uncoordinated. Lack of communication. The ladies there are rude, horrible attitude all the time. They treat you as they please. I made an appointment as THEY asked me to do, but when the time came: no one was there, office was closed, no one answered the phone, and no one informed me of any change. When I finally get hold of someone an hour later the ladies there had horrible attitude saying completely different things about the appointment compared to what was spoken of before hand with anotheremployee. Another incident was when they told me they were going to send me paper work to finish applying but 4 days later they never did. I had to call them to remind them. Unprofessional. Thats how they treat loyal customers? Terrible
Current resident - Worst apartment I have lived in the bay area. The buildings are so old and infested with pests that every week you have to call for pest treatment. Every other week there is water shutdown and sometimes without any notice. In six months there have been two 12 hour electricity shutdown which I have never experienced in bay area. On top of this they have now started excessive noise construction in the middle of Covid when everyone is working from home. I am guessing most 5 star reviews are probably fake.
I have lived at Eaves since 2008. I recently had transferred units at the complex. Mark and Gladys in the leasing office were absolutely phenomenal in ensuring everything ran as smoothly as possible when I made the big move! They communicated with me well ahead of time and were very organized. Both really went out of their way to ensure I was happy with my new unit. Maintenance crew was fantastic as always! Hector and Jose made sure my new unit was in pristine condition! Can’t say enough good things about the staff at Eaves West Valley!
BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. My boyfriend and I went in for a tour of the place a few weeks ago. We fit the income qualifications only issue is our credit was less than perfect, (no criminal record/evictions just haven’t built up enough credit yet.) The leasing officer assured us that they were still more than willing to work with us and absolute worst case scenario is we can get a guarantor to co-sign the lease since we qualified on income and made it seem like a nonissue. We paid $250 and after waiting for 3 days with no update and countless calls, we were finally told that one of us didn’t qualify. They couldn’t tell us exactly what disqualified us. We weren’t provided a copy of our credit report nor a valid reason for the disqualification and they completely changed their story and told us we couldn’t get a guarantor after all. I emailed the leasing agent but once they got our money we never heard back from another agent. Once they got our money everything changed. Don’t let this place fool you!! They’re money hungry and deceiving and don’t care about their residents at all once they take what they want from you. Stay away from this place if your credit is anything less than stellar.
Im coming to the end of a 9 month lease and I never had an issue with my apartment. This is my first lease on my own. Move in was easy, the community is great and the amenities are worth it. They often hold community events like ice cream or nachos. There are blood drives from time to time. Filing a maintenance report is easy and can be done online along with signing your lease and paying rent. Great place to live.
I recently leased a one bedroom apartment here. When I first went for a tour, Megan took me around the community and she was very welcoming, sweet and patient to answer my questions. My move in dates were too much ahead of availability nut I had decided to move here after my tour. Later, I booked an apartment online and Jason helped me with the remaining procedure and it went smoothly. I am moving in 2 weeks and hoping for the best!
We had never lived in this community. However we give 5 stars for the reason of one of the community consultants, Rob Nowlin, who helped us to rent out our apartment unit quickly in the other community where we used to live. That unit was on the accelerate rent option for the early termination on the lease. In addition, Rob was very friendly, enthusiastic and easy going person. He always took priority on our requests and tried his best to solve the issues we were experiencing. We recommend him and the community where he is working with.
They were warm and welcoming to the community and they are informative and proactive with policies. Rob from the office and Jason from maintenance are very professional. The only negative about the place so far is a bad dishwasher and a burnt out light which we miss during move in, however Im sure they will be fixed soon.
Im a new tenant at Eaves West Valley and, so far, Ive had good experiences here. The staff in the office, particularly Aisha, Ben, and Measha, have all been super nice and helpful. Also, Jason from the maintenance team was very quick about fixing a sink drain issue -- thanks for that!
Part-2: i have lived in this community for 2.5 years and recently moved from 2 bedroom apartment to 1 bed. There was some confusion regarding the move-in date but Mark handled everything perfectly. He made sure that everything was fine on the day on move-in and he went an extra mile in fixing some issues which I had raised. Jose who is in-charge of taking care of work orders also made sure that all the work orders were taken care of in time. I am really happy with the kind of service they both provided.Part-1: The best apartment community I have ever lived in. The people who work here really care for you and they do everything they could to make your living and experience a better one. I moved in here from Salt Lake City, they helped me with everything; starting from finding and finalizing the apartment to helping me settle in.You all are doing a great job. Please keep up the good work.
Signing on with eaves West Valley was not a decision we took lightly, but there were so many positives that it was not a hard decision to make: the central location; the amazing onsite amenities (gym, basketball courts, hot tub, pool); the feeling of being at home in our quiet, cozy, spacious unit despite the large eaves complex; plentiful secure parking & plenty of convenient street parking; utilities included in rental rate; friendly, responsive leasing office staff and maintenance crew. I never thought I’d live in a complex as large as eaves, but Mark C listened to my many needs and wants & put me at ease. He worked closely with me over the course of a month to find us a unit that fit all my criteria (rental rate, privacy, quiet, access to disability parking, access to elevators & laundry, etc). Thank you, Mark, for all your hard work. I thought you were going “above and beyond” just for us, but then I recently discovered these google reviews and apparently this is simply how you do your job. You are a consummate professional.
I lived in the Eaves apartment complex before. I spent happy 5 years there and didnt ever have any complaints. They always provide an exceptional service. Eaves at West Valley is an amazing community, they have huge property and offer lots of different amenities (basketball, tennis courts, multiple heated pulls and good gym), covered parking lot for the affordable related to other communities price. Special thanks to Mark, he is very helpful and responsive. He does his job greatly!
I had made an appointment for a self guided tour online. Due to a system error my appointment was not reflected on their end once I arrived. Measha, the customer service supervisor, was able to honor my appointment anyways and I was able to view the spaces on my own. She answered all the questions i had about the individual apartments and was able to hold the current price should I decide to apply in the next few days. The online application process was simple and Measha followed up throughout to keep me on track with the necessary items I needed to submit. During the first week there was a small issue in my apartment that I needed to have addressed. I contacted Measha once again and within a matter of hours, before I arrived back home, the issue was fixed. Measha and the team at Eaves are professional and courteous and have met all my needs!
It is a very good place to live. Staff is kind, polite and courteous. I enjoy how everything is streamlined to make things more efficient. I have worked with Aisha Barfield during my time here and she is very helpful when taking care of my paperwork for my apartment. Overall a good place to stay.
Flustered and in a bit of a scramble to find a place after my job situation took a turn (in the right direction!), I called eaves West Valley which I found on Apple Maps to set up an appointment.Call-in to ViewI called to set up a tour and the receptionist was so kind and patient, figuring out what was available at what price. Ultimately, she set me up with a showing for less than 36 hours later and said they would just make it work! My experience was extremely accommodating, from the start.AppointmentI got there a bit early, they offered me water and Mark took me on the tour early. WOW eaves West Valley had an incredible amount of amenities. Mark showed me the pools, volleyball courts, basketball courts, gym, lounge, he talked about security measures, innovation in the apartments (Amazon boxes, swipe cards to get in the complex and buildings). The whole time, we were passing employees and they were all so happy and kind. Mark is super chatty and funny-- a pleasure to be around with such an enthusiastic personality. The ApartmentMark showed me probably 5 apartments across the entirety of the 17 acre complex until I found the one I ultimately moved into. He provided me with local dining options and grocery store locations, as well. This studio is double the square footage of my San Francisco apartment at the same price and you get all the amenities, top security, and a balcony-- ok, where do I sign?!The Application ProcessWhat is seen as the most tedious part of getting a new place-- Mark and the Avalon (the corporation that owns eaves WV) made this process truly painless. Everything is on the computer-- typing in your information, getting cleared for the apartment, submitting your deposit and even paying rent each and every month! GENIUS.It is easy to say that my experience with Avalons eaves West Valley was incredible-- from the staff to amenities to apartment and innovation. They took the pain out of renting. Thanks again Mark and team!!
We recently moved to Eaves West Valley, and all has been completely perfect.Apartment was ready when we checked in, even that we came a little earlier than supposed, and we gave a really short notice for moving in.Community is quiet and nice, and the apartments are spacious.Special mention to Mark Corpuz and Julia, they have made our move in experience awesome. They are genuinely kind and will attend all your questions and concerns in detail.
Almost signed the lease until I read the CONSTRUCTION ADDENDUMEAVES WEST VALLEY:Construction will cause inconveniences to Resident(s) which mayinclude, but are not limited to, general increase in noise, lack of accessto amenities, loss of privacy, presence of construction crews and heavyequipment, loss of assigned parking, loss of open parking,construction-related noise, construction-related traffic, utility outages(including water, gas, electricity, cable TV, data, telecom), loss of one ormore vehicular entries/exits, loss of views, loss of storage, changes inpedestrian pathways, blocked sidewalks and walkways, constructiondebris, extensive dust, including airborne dust and construction sawdustand fibers, construction materials being stored on site and constructionvehicles parked on site, noise from operations of machinery including, but not limited to jack hammers, electric saws, bulldozing equipment, concrete mixers, and nail pounding or popping.Resident(s) agrees that the lease between the parties will beeffective notwithstanding the Construction, and any inconveniencesassociated with the Construction will not create an offset to rentalobligations, or be the basis for a complaint against Landlord, its agents, employees or assigns for rent relief, or any other claim, right, or remedyagainst Landlord, including constructive eviction or loss of right to quietenjoyment. So I checked online and found this AVALON EXPANSION PROJECT:“Planned Development Rezoning and Planned Development permit to demolish the existing sports courts, parking garage, pool and amenity building and develop approximately 307 additional residential units, 17,800 square feet of commercial/retail space, residential amenities including two pools, and 1,110 new parking spaces all within the existing Eaves West Valley by Avalon residential development.”Sounds to me the incoming expansion project is huge, not sure how it will affect with current residents. Based on this, I would still not recommend this place at least during the construction period although the rent price right now is very competitive...
Worst worst apartments I ever lived at!Very very irresponsible leasing team, they are present only to suck money, they dont allow people to get removed from lease even after you find a new roomate to take your lease. when a roomate is added, they do your screening again. worst leasing people, worst team
I have been at Eaves West Valley for a little over 1 year. I moved from only about a mile away, and I cant explain how happy I am for making the decision to move to this complex. The staff are incredible. Everyone from the leasing office to the maintenance personnel to the individuals in the package pick up area are so friendly, helpful, and sincere in their concerns for how your living experience is. They are constantly trying to improve the complex and the environment around it. The wonderful amenities like the large resort style pool and spa area with BBQ grills, and activity courts are only a bonus to me. What makes this complex a place to call home is truly the care and attention the entire staff provides. I would recommend it if you are looking for an enjoyable place to live.
--- Update ---Roaches are rather persistent, though Eaves has made efforts to resolve the problem. After two visits by pest control there is still the occasional one. Will likely need a third treatment.Nonetheless I have upgrade this review from 1 to 3 stars, since besides the roaches the experience at Eaves has been largely positive. Friendly and helpful staff, good mail services, well kept grounds and community amenities like gym, pool, tennis courts, and Jacuzzi. The buildings were built in the 70s, so maintenance issues like clogged drains are a quarterly occurrence, though fortunately the staff are always prompt in fixing them. One extra thing to be wary of is while the initial rent rate is reasonable given average rents in West San Jose, Avalon will jack up the rent as much as they can once they have you move in. Rent controls provide only minimal protection, and after one year the rent went up by nearly $200.As such I do not get any sense that they are trying to reward good long term residents, rather they are seeking to push the rent up as much as tolerable until finally the tenants move out. This is contrary to most smaller managed buildings where the landlord will want to hold onto good tenants as long as possible and hence be more conservative with rent increases.I experienced a similar corporate policy from Avalon in Massachusetts, which caused me to move out after 1 year only, so this is a reputation well deserved. If I moved out of Eaves today and moved back in 24 hours later with a new resident rate I could slash my rent by $250.Overall a decent place to call home in the South Bay. If they were a bit more reasonable with the rent increases I might consider staying for a longer period. As it is, staying beyond the two year mark doesnt make much sense. Eventually the rent asked to renew a lease will be so high that you might was well move out and live in a building that is newer, nicer, bigger, and does not have the persistent maintenance issues of these old apartments.--- Original Review ---Daily roaches. Been living here a year and a half. Complained several times about the roaches but nothing has been done about it despite promises.
The leasing team was outstanding! A huge shout out to Donald and Robert for all the help through the leasing process, which was extremely quick and efficient. The whole e-sign process was also really easy to complete!Thank you Eaves West Valley leasing team for the help! Looking forward to very soon be part of the community!
I am resident of Eaves West valley since 2008. Ever since, I have always enjoyed my stay here with all the amenities in this apartment complex. With plenty of recent positive changes happening, the quality of living is certainly going to be great. It should also be the responsibility of the residents to adhere with rules to keep the community smoke free and clean. The staff has been very co-operative and friendly. Maintenance service has been good. PJ has been excellent in helping with my lease and resolving any issues in all possible manner. Eric has been humble patiently listening to my concerns and help out resolving them. One thing I would like to bring out is that this community does not have Kids play area. Management should seriously think of constructing Play area for the kids.
The people working in the leasing office at this community either dont care or are very unaware of their jobs. The attention to detail is none. I have been living here for the past 3 years and decided to transfer to a new apartment in the same community. The process was a disaster. First, the person handling my move could not get my info right at all to send the lease for me to sign. Then, after they told me the new lease would be transferred to my online account with all the payment info it never happened! The total disregard in any sort of customer care caused a couple months of late payments accrued in my account. Honestly, I dont think people working here really care about their residents.
Update: 1/4/2019 - A year and a quarter later I could not be happier! I just got relocated and I am moving to another Avalon 2 bed and 2 bath but I am going to miss this place. The new place does not offer rooms as big as they have here the master bedroom is as big as a studio I am going to miss it!!Everyone here has been super great! The building I am in is older and there have been a couple minor issues but the staff is incredibly responsive and fast when addressing resident concerns. All the staff has been nice and professional. Mark is one that I have interacted with a lot and I am really glad he is apart of the team that makes my living here feel like home. I feel like they consider me to be important and they take any issues I might have very seriously.
The 5 stars is not for eaves West Valley, it is for Jessica Hernandez because only this staff deserved and is recognized to get 5 stars!I am not writing a review on eave West Valley property building, because I dont have good things to say about the aesthetic of the property so my reviews is on a staff, Jessica Hernandez, Senior Community Consultant at eaves West Valley. Ive lived at this property since 2012 and so much have much disappointment, negative experience due to changes through the property being purchased from one investor to another, etc... What also changed at this property are the staffing retention is very poor at one point. When you lose hard working staff and staff who knows what theyre doing, then youre company is a reflection of your staffing...negative reputation to the renters. For a long time, Ive waited for an all-star staff like Jessica Hernandez to raise at the rental office. I was so upset at the staffing team who dropped the ball on my relocation on 2015, Building Q...previous tenants distinguishing blood stains on the Murphy bed, cat odor smells, etc... After I complained-management team failed to assist me but, Jessica came to help me out and then after a year lease ended, I relocated to the next building and Jessica assisted me again with a very positive experience. Im really hoping that Jessica will get promoted due to strong work ethics and grow with her company. Im wishing her the best to get pay increase, higher education, professional development, etc... to help support her new born child and overall a bright future to her life and the company. When a woman give birth and she returns to work to do what she loves, it means that shes a remarkable and strong woman especially that she continues to be the top performer in her team. I dont know any of men who can give birth, return to work to deal with difficult tenants and stay strong as this strong woman, Jessica. eaves West Valley is so fortunate to have a strong, hard working staff like Jessica Hernandez. Please help to promote her because she has the spirit, drive and skills to help build a stronger company just like her refreshing-strong character.
RUN AWAY from this apartment complex and do not live here.1. My packages were stolen from my doorstep on more than one occasion. The complex does have mail lockers and boxes but it is still to the discretion of the mail carriers to use them.2. Numerous car break-ins from inside the complex gates.3. After a sudden vehicle accident, I had a rental car as my personal one was towed directly from the accident site to be repaired. I had a clearly marked rental car which was towed from the apartment within a few hours (no one even attempted to contact me) and I incurred expenses, though I have a valid parking permit. After a lengthy process of explaining this to the office they still only covered half the cost.4. Upon move out, they charged me for damages that were there before I even moved in. I even notated them on my move in checklist and also had to live with it during my entire time there. The staff here are plenty nice, but the rules they have to operate by will make this a stressful living experience for you. Don’t live here.
Eaves West Valley is a nice gated community that is cozy with great ammenities. There is a great pool, spacious gym, BBQ Grills, tennis courts, basketball courts, and a hard working leasing office staff.Ms. Measha was the leasing agent that helped find the perfect apartment for my fiancee and me. We never felt pressured into signing anything as Ms. Measha only wanted to make sure we had all the information that we needed to make our decision. Once we decided to apply, Ms. Measha let us use a computer on site in the leasing office to apply, and within 10 minutes or so we were approved!Since moving in, I have gone down to the leasing office a few times for various reasons (package pickup, key pick up etc) and Ms. Measha and her co workers have been nothing but helpful and very prompt in helping in a timely matter. As for the apartment units themselves, we ended up going with a modern unit floor plan. This place is looks great, feels very spacious and absolutely love how the place looks. It feels like home, and a place I can come to relax after a long day. There is in unit AC, and in our floor plan we have in unit laundry which awesome. In conclusion, eaves West Valley feels like home, and the leasing office staff are nothing but spectacular and have been very helpful.
Im writing the review about a month after settling in. The staff is pretty friendly. Radmina who gave me the first tour not only did a great job to find the best floor plan for my needs but still keeps her hands on my case and helps me in any way she can. The place itself is nice clean. The only possible issue here is sound isolation (you can hear what happens in the other room of the apartment and dogs can be heard in the morning; however, thats the only issue hear and lots of pros makes it inconsiderable. Price was a bit bigger than i was expected but the whole level of offer was much higher than other options i was looking at. And their leasing politics is quite reasonable, you dont have to show a bank statement enough to buy the place and the process is fast, comfortable and mostly doable online.
I, had some plumbing problems recently,I was so very happy to had spoken with Mrs Julia Sibley, she was so on top of getting help to our apartment. She is also the young lady that showed the apartment, she has shown great professionalism with myself & my daughter; this kind of treatment cant go unnoticed by us.We love all the staff at the front desk. It just seems that Mrs. Sibley is there for us every time I have a problem. Thank you so very much for hiring a lady that is so helpful to us as tenants. Please let Mrs Sibley no that we in this apartment appreciate her.We also want to thank you eaves for hiring all the other very professional staff members as well. They all are team players, from what,Ive observed.Thank You again eaves. This apartment complex will prove a property to beat in our valley. Keep up the team playing strategy. It shows all of the staff cares about us tenants.Thank you Eaves
This is a sketchy institution that scams people out of their application fees. After discussing credit prerequisites with three different employees, I was reassured that as long as my credit score was about 575 on Experian that I would be accepted with the caveat of an additional deposit. After spending the ludicrous $90 on a credit check application fee I was instantly denied. This is absolutely unacceptable and reflects poorly on the integrity of the staff and management. I am so disappointed and will make sure to spread the truth about this company.
We have resided at eaves West Valley for 4 years now, and our experience here has been extremely positive. We toured other apt complexes in SJ before deciding on this one, and chose eaves for, among other things, its great location. The leasing agent that initially helped us, Radmina, was very helpful, and made the process, from the tour, application, and move-in very smooth. I believe that she has been promoted to a (well-deserved) management position at another Avalon property.Recently weve interacted with Rosario, Aisha, Emma, and Jamesha in the Leasing Office, and Bruce (eaves very own Dog Whisperer), Javier, and Nick in the Maintenance Dept. for various reasons, including maintenance requests, community events, and a lost dog (found! with the help of the eaves team members). They are all very prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly.
I have been staying here for 1.5 years. Community is very beautiful, We moved apartment within same community and they have an excellent policy to transfer you to another apartment 45 days before your lease end date, Houshmand was really helpful in recent transfer.he helped me a lot, appreciated. Turn around time for maintenance request is 1 day which is a big plus and copensates for any complaints of old units. They throw nice seasonal parties frequently.
A great place to live! Very pet friendly, lots of pet stations that are always stocked with clean up bags. The office staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Maintenance response time is quick. Lots of parking available in the garages and a good amount of parking on side streets nearby during the day. The area is great, right next to 280 and grocery, shopping, and food. Overall the complex feels very safe and everyone is nice. Highly recommend :)
I have been living in eaves for the last couple of years and it has been a thoroughly pleasant experience so far. The service quality and amenities are great. For example we had an issue with our kitchen faucet and a technician named Hector came in and fixed it in a jiffy. It is instances like these and the overall good keeping of the property that make me keep extending my stay here.
I love this apartment. Radmina and staff are very friendly and helpful throughout the entire moving process. I came to check the place out on a Wednesday and by Friday I was already living there. Everyone here including the neighbors are friendly and the settings is beautiful. Sometime I just like to a walk with my dog at night and just enjoy the fresh air and environment. Plenty of parking space and a huge swimming pool and fitness center is definitely a plus. I highly recommend this place anyone looking for a nice affordable apartment.
We had an awesome experience moving in. Houshmand did an excellent job helping us. We initially signed lease for a first floor one bedroom apartment. About a week before the move in we were contacted by the leasing office saying that the apartment isnt available as the existing party decided to extend the stay by a couple of weeks. So we were offered a different first floor apartment by matching the original price that we signed the lease for. We agreed to take it. On the day of the move in we were pleasantly surprised to find the apartment to be wooden floored! We always wanted one and Houshmand kept it as a secret to surprise us. The location is great. The community Awesome and extremely pet-friendly.
In January 2018, I was in a major automobile accident breaking over 25 bones. I needed to rent a place in San Jose to be near Kaiser resources. My daughter had reached out in January to start looking for places. Julia Sibley handled her inquiry and followed up through April when I decided to rent from the Eaves.Julia handled our application, my daughter moving in before I was released from the medical facility I was in since January. Julia also handled my request for a few ADA modifications so I could fully enjoy the apartment.Julia was amazing in every contact an aspect. She had a lot of patience, answered all questions quickly and fully in a manner that was respectful and professional. Without ever meeting Julia face to face I would hire her to work for me anywhere. She is a credit to Avalon and The Eaves West Valley, and a model for anyone looking to do her job.
The maintenance team and the leasing office people are really helpful. I have received prompt help from the maint team whenever there has been any issue. Recently I had an issue with the sink plumbing in my apartment and I requested maintenance technician Rigo to change it since it was pretty old too and he did that instead of trying to patch up the old one which I think would not have lasted anyway. I am happy with the commitment shown towards fixing the issues in the apartment by the maintenance team.
I filed an online application with eaves West Valley for a one bedroom apartment which on the website was mentioned to have a washer and dryer in unit! This happened when their office was closed. Next day an agent calls me and I ask her --just to make sure--, does this apartment have washer/dryer in unit? and she says NO. And I immediately ask her to cancel my application because having the laundry facility in unit was the main reason I applied for this place. Although they have not done any processing on my application (which would not happen at first place, only if there was no FALSE information on their website), next day, I see the $195 is posted on my credit card. I call them and they offer NO HELP at all ... DO NOT TRUST THE INFORMATION ON THEIR WEBSITE!
I just recently moved to eaves west valley. Throughout the whole process from applying to seeing the apt and getting the keys, I was helped by Mark. He was super helpful and answered all my questions. Also he was always quick with replies when I had questions through email. I just had such good experience compared to other apartments I was looking into and even though it was pricier than the other ones I was looking at due to location and amenities, I decided to sign the lease here. I am enjoying the stay at this apt so far and I would recomment this place to anyone!
I can not begin to describe how unprofessional, unbelievably rude and frankly incompetent the management of this place is. I had scheduled an appointment at 1 PM by calling on phone and had received a confirmation email. See the attached confirmation. I show up at the apartment lobby at 12:50 PM for my viewing appointment and give my ID to the person at the reception. That person tells me that I do not have any appointment at 1 to which I show the confirmation email. The person says that the appointment did not get saved in their system and so they can not show me the apartment at 1 PM and they can not even find the person who I talked on the phone. I request the person at reception if some one else can show me the apartment since I have a confirmation email for 1 PM, that person rudely declines and they do not even have any courtesy to apologize for the huge inconvenience they caused me. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!
There are many good things about living at eaves west valley. Its a safe and quiet community, and service here is great. I just had kitchen light and fireplace fixed. The technician Javier is very professional and nice. I submitted repair ticket last night and had problem solved next morning. Fantastic service!
This is an update to a previous reviewMy partner and I have been able to communicate with the leasing office staff and are now finally being able to enjoy our time here. Its a nice community to live, we love Radmina, and were finally getting comfortable. The only thing I would keep with my old review is that it is actually really expensive to live here. We are currently paying $1795 + ~$50-60 for water, sewage, and gas per month for a Studio apartment. That does not include PGE payments. I have been able to find other apartment complexes that have 1-2 bedrooms available for the same price. Even though the leasing office does say that we arent paying extra for the amenities, it certainly feels like it sometimes. I know that my partner and I have been struggling to make ends meet with regards to the rent and some of our other bills. We will be renewing our lease in October, but hopefully we can negotiate to make our rent more feasible and workable.Otherwise, its a pretty great place to live!
I had a pleasant experience while staying at Eaves Vest Apartments. People at leasing office are extremely friendly and helped with getting answers to all my questions, especially Paramjot (PJ). The entire leasing process have taken less than one hour.Avalons online management system is very helpful, I was getting notification about all my package deliveries.On-site laundry is just steps away from my apartment and easy to use. Pretty all machines are brand new. There are too many positive words I can say, just come to check this place out.
I lived in San Jose for about a year and Eaves West Valley was amazing. The people, atmosphere and living accommodations were very nice. Pricing was reasonable as compared to other apartments in the area and they offered a lot more then others. It is a HUGE complex and there are so many friendly people around. I would highly recommend checking it out and making the move to Eaves. Thanks again guys!
Just moved in a few months ago. Really enjoy the community so far. It has really great amenities such as a few small pools, a large heated pool, a massive hot tub, basketball, tennis and volleyball courts, BBQs, a gym, a steam room and a pool table. The staff is always super helpful and friendly. I worked with Jasmine when I was picking an apartment and she was awesome.
More:I live here about one and half year and very satisfied. We are on third floor and nice patio and lots of lights. Outside is so green. Pool area and gym is good. The office staffs and maintenance guys are so friendly and responsive. So far the only concern so is the trash smell especially in summer.First:The Eaves West Valley staffs were so friendly and helped me alot to find my desired unit. Mark was so helpfull and sent me pictures from the unit at noon per my request so I could know how much sunlight it has. He answered all of my questions (I ask alot! )
I live here and they are having a car towing policy that is the worst thing ever. I would never ever let anyone I know live here and I would like to leave. When the fees for not having a small piece of plastic cost you over $1000 dollars. I think they really dont care about the residents and they provide no recourse. This is my car, its registered with the property it is authorized to park there. Oh and let me add that they charge $50 dollars for that little piece of plastic. Screw this place. I have paid half a months rent for parking my own car only to have it towed!
I am a new resident who just moved in Eaves West Valley 5 days ago. On the morning of the second day I moved in, I found that the pipeline under the water sink was blocked, and the kitchen floor was full of the water. All of my bowls, plates, knives, silverware & garbage bags were soaked by the dirty water from the second & third floor. Mark Corpunz was really helpful and quick response. He called the Maintenance Manager and walked to my room. After they saw the problem, they said they will fix the problem ASAP.Eaves West Valley is a great place to live, and Mark is a very helpful, friendly & responsible staff. He always replies my email in next 1 or 2 hours, very patiently helps me to solve the problem I had, and follow up the request I had. Ill highly recommend Eaves West Valley to you!
The location is excellent. The management representative Housman is very helpful, responsive, and patient. So are the rest of office stuff. The apartment is old so expecting frequent maintenances to fix things. Pet friendly is nice but also bothered by dog barking in a quiet evening. Over all recommended.
Eaves is a very friendly apartment with quiet environment and outstanding facilities. The rent rate is decent compared to other apartments in West San Jose/Santa Clara and it provides very convenient access to highway, supermarket and restaurants.I like the Staff in Eaves, Houshmand and other guys are very helpful and always nice to my requests. During last year I have referred 2 friends moving it and they both love Eaves !
I lived there 2 years ago before I purchased my first home. It was a nice community with good management, especially the maintenance team. PJ and Robert were very friendly and helpful. Today, I called them and explained one of package was delivered there mistakenly. To my surprise, the leading office staff spent a lot of effort to help me find out the missing package, even I am not their customer any more. The staff is more friendly and helpful than before. Really appreciate.
I just moved to California by myself from Pennsylvania and only had 2 weeks yo find an apartment. Eaves was the first place on my list to visit when apartment hunting. Kimberlyn Austin was the best consultant I had met all day and I viewed about 7 complexes. Her customer service was beyond 5 stars and she answered all of my questions with much detail and I sure had a lot! She made my choice very easy and she had a lot to do with my decision to choose eaves west valley. She made my stressful decision of choosing a place fun and I enjoyed chatting with her about her time in Pennsylvania as well! The girl should get a promotion or at least a raise!! Really happy with my decision to be a part of this community and excited to see what’s to come! Thanks Kim for all your help!
Jessica Bulleri recently helped move me into my new 2 bedroom apartment at eaves West Valley. She was smiling and so helpful. As soon as l arrived on my lunch hour Jessica was ready with my file and new keys! Really grateful for her service to me and my son. The amenities are large and other residents seem friendly. Really looking for to our time here!
I have lived here for 2 weeks now. I cant recommend the studio apartments. When looking deep and trying to clean I found years of dirt and water damage. Their fix is to paint over things. The kitchen cupboards are dusty and wood blocks painted and cant be wiped out. The Murphy bed is gross and stained and they are slow to respond if its not a quick fix. The carpet in the apartment and hallways needs to be torn out. These apartments are not healthy and need to be completely renovated for the health and peace of mind for those who reside in them. These studio apartments are not worth the price charged. I would rather pay more money for a healthy, nice apartment than paying for amenities. Thank you.
Jamesha is AMAZING! I came into Eaves without an appointment, without looking at the floor plans, and without knowledge of the area. I just needed a nice place to call home ASAP. Jamesha was super helpful, a delight to work with and very knowledgable about the property! She gave me an amazing tour and sold me on the apartment the same day! Had keys in my hand 2 hours later! From start to finish she helped me with everything I needed to know about property and even pointed me to some good restaurants in the area! I give Jamesha and Eaves 10 Stars!
My girlfriend and I moved to San Jose on very short notice for work. eaves West Valley accommodated our same day request for apartment showings. We were very pleased with the complexs appearance and cleanliness. Gladys was friendly and able to answer all of our questions. One weeks time and we already know that this will be our home for the foreseeable future. Last, and certainly not least; the spa temperature is absolutely perfect for a relaxing evening soak after work!
Eaves West Valley received and approved my online application in less than 1 hour. I was assigned to Mark Corpuz who directly contacted me to welcome to the community and to let me know what else was required to facilitate move-in. Before I arrived in town and before Mark went on vacation, he took pictures I requested of the apartment and to check-in so that I be greeted and let into the apartment in his absence. The whole process was virtually seem less. Never had I imagined one could apply for house and be approved sight unseen. After 10 days, I am happy to say that Id make the decision again to apply for residence at eaves West Valley. Your apartment may be where you lay your head, but the community has many amenities that will have you outside by the pool(s), court(s) or grill(s)...eaves West Valley works for me!!!! Oh, I forgot to mention the rest of the staff as being friendly and active. They have pleasant dispositions, smiles and conversations that let you know they are invested with you. One particular person is Bruce, whom I see early in the mornings going about his business and its never too early for a pleasant greeting, etc...
Shout out to Measha and Donald!Thank you for the great customer service and professionalism displayed throughout our application process. My girlfriend and I really appreciate your willingness to help your customers and patience to listen. Thank you for the positive energy and we for sure will reach out if we have any questions.Sincerely,Susan and Jordan
I was helped by Mr Mark Corpuz. Ill be moving to the Eaves West Valley this weekend. I was very happy with the service he provided for us. He had the patience to show us the facility and explain to us all amenities. We are really looking forward to move in and be part of the great Eaves Valley Community.I’ll highly recommend him to co-workers and friends for his professionalism and efficiency.
This is an awesome apartment complex with a lot of amenities. The leasing staff is very helpful. I talked to Jasmine M and she is awesome. The only downside is that the office closes at sharp 6.30pm and that makes it difficult to pick up packages at times. Other than that its a beautiful place.
The amount of time the staff takes to make sure you feel welcome and everything is going okay with your apartment is astonishing. There are some things that are hard to control for, but just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to make Eaves feel like home.Cheers!
Ive been living in Eaves West Valley in the past 1.5 years and ever since Jasmine Moore has joined as a community consultant, shes been extremely helpful and making my day to day living experience so much better. Shes timely, professional and very responsible. She has excellent experience and knowledge in the field and helps us tenants above and beyond. Thank you Jasmine!
Eaves is a wonderful place to live. I especially love working with Mark, a helpful, friendly staff member who helped me find the right place to live. The location is perfect for running errands, and walking around. I have never been so happy living in an apartment complex!
Im delighted with the service at the leasing office. I was little confused in moving from Fremont to San Jose initially, but later after meeting Gladys and PJ at office the process went on so easy. Its my distinct pleasure to recommend to anyone to stay at EavesWestValley. The stay here is very helpful and they truly care whether we are happy and comfortable or not. The apartment is very well maintained and address any issues as soon as we report them. The management works hard and help the resident to solve any issues very quickly. The way Gladys helped me in showing the apartments and explained about the amenities and services we get was ecstatic. I was gratified with the presence of PJ during my leasing application process and the submission. I have been living here from past three months and i highly recommend this to anyone.
Great staff, clean apartment when I moved in. Freshly painted. My apartment is half furnished which means you have an equipped kitchen with a stove and a fridge. You also have a Murphy bed with a mattress. I had to buy a table, chairs and other accessories. Spa and pool are clean. Parking is available for residents. The small parking on Blackford Ave can be full after 8pm but you will always have a free spot in the other parking lot, especially on the 2nd floor.
Called and confirmed an appointment for a viewing and was quoted $1955 monthly rate for a 1bd with a 11-12 mo/lease. Hours before heading to location to view said properties the monthly rate jumped over 300 dollars. This company will give you false rates for their available units just to get you in the door, then slap on new prices and won’t be able to explain the difference.Extremely disappointed in this company’s operations, false statements, and general performance. As a realtor I will never suggest this apartment complex. Lies lies lies.
“The maintenance team are the best”I had an issue with my bathroom since I moved to this apartment.Last time I contacted the maintenance to repeat the same thing what they are doing whenever I called them. This time a young and professional crew members “Luise& Gerd” went beyond and spent good quality time to find the roots of the problem.also they identify an issue with my bathtub and they fixed.I saw this 2 gentleman going up and down, cleaning deeply, calling other department to be fix the issue, they kept me informed about everything....They were awesome this guys, they were displaying a great time work with an outstanding customer service.Thank Luis & Gerd.
The Eaves Staff has been wonderful since I moved in almost 6 months ago! Professional and very helpful with making sure all questions are answered and move in and details are in place. Jasmine has been wonderful in always being our point person in the front office to help with anything along the way. We love the community and staff!
We didn’t schedule the move-in date but when we dropped in Mark was very helpful with the process. He toured us all the community amenities and gave lots of information we need after move in. Also, he let us feel warming by calling our names and giving greetings every time we walk in the leasing office that seems like we’re at home. We really appreciate that!
I want to give 0 start. There is pets waste everywhere! If you just want to find a quiet place, DO NOT choose here! Also they will increase the rent all the time. And you must be careful about your cars, because nobody will tell you that your car was towed away until you need to work next morning. The leasing office will do nothing. Just told you its your responsibility to check your own car everyday! Excuses me? If I was sick, I need to call someone to check my car? I will move out immediately!
This place holds a special place in my husband and my hearts, since it was our first apartment together!Id probably give this place 4 stars (due to thin walls, average upkeep of studio apartment, and bugs in the bathroom), but the staff is consistently accommodating and a completely accountable resource for residents. Jasmine, Radmina, Houshmand, have all helped my husband and I throughout our stay here and have even followed up with us when we voiced some concerns about our next door neighbor. Their facilities team is quick, efficient, and always so friendly. The location itself is super convenient, with easy access to the freeway and tons of shopping centers and plazas nearby (do yourself a favor and get some tacos at Tacos Santiaguitos across the street!)The apartment complex itself is super pet friendly - they even hosted a pet pool party event this past summer! Their amenities are well kept and bigger and more luxurious than many other apartment complexes Ive checked out. The prices here are pretty comparable to the rest of South Bay Area. Id definitely recommend giving this place a try.
Update: July 26th, 2017My experience here has been great. Though I had some hiccups after my first few months, Radmina, Jessica and the team did their very best to ensure that things were rectified asap. The location is very convenient. It is not towards the downtown traffic and is only one exit away from the mall and Santana Row. Target is conveniently located about a mile or two away on the same stretch. The four stars come from the following: I will say that the one downside was that some residents did not respect the pick up after your pet rule as well as the deciding to smoke right outside the gates. But that is no fault of the apartments. The same goes for the hall way carpet and trashroom where people see the shoot and still put the trash on the side. The complex is nice enough to pick up after them but it is a simple direction residents should follow. There is always parking somewhere in the complex. They have done a good job maintaining an older building.Aug 2nd 2016Moving in was painless. Amanda F. made it so easy for me from the time we spoke when I was on the east coast. I couldn.t come view before hand so she sent me several pics and did all my paper work via email. She was even willing to help me figure out what to do if my car was shipped before I arrived. My apartment was very clean when I moved in. I live in one of the older apartments but it actually is great. Plus there is an elevator in the older buildings as opposed to the newer ones which is convenient for movers when you are on the third floor. Been living here for a month and I enjoy the convenience of it. Many amenities. Parking is never an issue inside the complex for residents. Maintenance and staff are responsive at all times even on the weekends. If you want to be close to downtown but not in the traffic all the time for a reasonable price this is a good place to be. Proximity to the mall and santana row is great. I will give a 6 month review when I have more details. The one downside is that I do not think there are enough dumpsters for the number of people living here. The trash is always overflowing in the parking lots, taking away from the beauty of the complex. This is no fault of the staff as they also cannot monitor how often and what people put in the recycling as opposed to dumpsters.
I lived here more than a 6 month and I loved everything. Great apartments, awesome staff, good management. Huge heated pool and nice BBQ area. Any question you have will be resolved immediately. Everybody who works there are really great. Ask for PJ he is one the best!
I put in a request to have someone come fix the issue of bugs falling from the ceiling vent in the bathroom. I had 50 bugs fall from the fan two days in a row. I called to get someone out right away so I could shower and after 3 days still didnt have anybody come. I had cleaned up the mess by the time they came. I have had better experiences in the past but this was beyond sub par. I also got a call from the leasing office on day 3 that pest control was there and ready to take care of the issue. I told them it was already taken care of but maintenance has showed up twice since then. Lack of communication internally and a slow response time didnt make for a good experience.
On 02/09/2018, By my request, technical supervisor Jose stopped by my apartment to install the kitchen sink soap dispenser. He completed the work just in a minute. His working performance was amazing! Currently, the dispenser is working well. I am willing to give full credit for his working performance. Thank you for the help.
I am completely unhappy with this place. They already charged me 2 months($5760) for moving out early, other place in the area wont charge you this much. They said they will charge around $400-$700 for cleaning the place before I am moving out and recommended me not to clean the apartment myself. I setup recurrence payment but for the last month they just disabled that without noticing us so we get another late fee charge for $60. So the cost of us moving out early is more than $6000 which is ridiculous. We are moving out early because few reasons that I cannot stand for it anymore. They wont inform you that they will have maintenance work on the proof in advance. One day, the maintenance work on the proof is so loud and you can feel like someone hamming the hammer right beside you and one of the light bulb fall off, my kid and wife are almost hit by that light bulb. I had to take my kid outside and we need to urgently get out of the apartment on Saturday morning at 8am. When we come back, the bath tub is full of dirt. Another reason is they shutoff water without any early notice, ahhh they will notice you one minute before water shutoff.Another problem we see is there are a lot of bugs in the bathroom. I cannot tell what kind of bugs they are. It looks really weird types and those bugs are those you do not want to mess up with.We live in 3rd floor. Even when we walk in our apartment, the 2nd floor can hear our footstep very clear. We hire cleaner once a week and they just do simple chore but the neighbor still complain us about the noise. We inform them if they can do anything to help, they just dont care.
I had an exceptional first experience with Eaves West Valley.I went there on my lunch break from work and Aisha gave a very detailed tour for two different apts in a timely manner. Later that same day, my husband and I decided to choose Eaves West Valley as our new home. After work, I went there near their closing hours to sigh and finish up all the paperwork. Aisha helped me patiently to finalize everything even going overtime to ensure we were able to get apt that fits our needs. It was really special and unique. Looking forward to move in. :)
The place is very nice if you like to be closer to the nature. A lot of trees and flowers, which fulfill the environment with life all around you and everything is clean.A few swimming pools, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, which is good for me because I like tennis. The gym is amazing (and the facilities in there are new).Stuff is always ready to help if there are any questions or problems. People are friendly and the atmosphere here is pretty good.I can recommend this place to everyone :)
We have been residing in this community since 2010 and it has been a great pleasure. All the maintenance and front desk staff are very co-operative and helping, specially P.J. who gives his best to solve your problem. I wish all the resident would respect the staffs hard work and try to keep the community clean by not littering around and cleaning after their pets. One thing the community needs is a kids play area, so that our kids can have some outdoor play without disturbing the other residents. Over all I love the community and would love to stay many more years.
At first i loved this place, my very first apartment and it was going great until we fell behind on rent because of a family emergency, now avalon Bay is charging us a ridiculous amount of extra fees just to stay living here, we keep making payments to try & catch up but with all these extra fees it’s impossible. We only have two months left on our lease and are trying to avoid eviction but this company refuses to work with us or allow us to make payments that aren’t in full. Would not recommend this place to anyone who might be down on their luck.
Jasmine & the Eaves West Valley team have been extremely helpful in getting me situated & ready to lease in just a couple days (for an extremely short job start date). Jasmine has been professional, succinct & extremely effective in getting the exact unit that I needed in the quickest timeframe possible. I could not be more pleased & satisfied with her helpful support, friendly manner & demonstrated results.
I have to admit that I almost rented another apartment not far from here. I changed my decision for the same reason why I am writing, for the first time, a review. The staff at this complex have validated my decision as the right one, not once but several times over since I first moved in June this year.My initial meeting, with Jessica Bullieri, was a very positive one. She was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Her prompt follow up on my questions and action items elevated this community to the top of my list. During my extensive apartment hunt I called the Eaves West Valley back a few more times to get additional questions answered but was not able to reach Jessica Bullieri (yes there are several Jessicas). I didnt get the same experience as the follow through and professionalism I had originally experienced which caused me to seriously consider another community.Jessica Bullieri followed up a week later which led to another conversation with her. She replied to my questions with a follow up email with the same prompt professionalism that I had come to expect from the entire staff.Let me also note that the day I moved in, I encountered a few issues. While the leasing office was closed, I reached out to one of the maintenance techs who promptly radioed one of the senior techs onsite. Their entire maintenance staff met me to help me work through my moving issues. Kudos to their entire team, but especially the senior techs on that day, who could have easily avoided helping me resolve the issues. Instead they discussed it with the team and efficiently and quickly helped me overcome a major moving obstacle. While this complex is older and some of the units need to be updated, location, amenities and the professional staff from the maintenance team to the prompt, professional follow up and extra service with courtesy that people like Jessica Bullieri have extended me have made the choice to move into this complex a good one that I would make again.
This review is for the service the maintenance team provides me whenever I need help in the apartment. Ive been pleasantly surprised at how nice and helpful the team has been, especially when I have had a couple of emergencies. Special shout out to Rigo tonight for taking the time to help me with an issue on a Sunday night! Ive been having trouble with a closet light in the apartment for awhile and he spent about an hour and a half helping me trouble shoot a rather complicated problem, all while being friendly and courteous. Im sure he had a long day yet he still gave it his all at 6:30 PM on a Sunday night. Ive had great luck with all the maintenance team-Hector, Javier, Colin, Troy...Hector in particular has always been so nice and helpful everytime Ive needed him to come out. Not only has he helped me solve my problems, but when Ive seen him around the buildings afterwards he has stopped and asked me if the problem he worked on was still OK. A really great guy. Thank you everyone for your hard work and excellent customer service!
I love this place mostly due to the amenities and the floor plans it offers. The management is fantastic and 24*7 maintenance is a huge help. The property is well maintained. I had to move out to explore other areas in the bay; however I would love to live in this community again. Roxanna handled my move out and it was as easy and simple as it could get.
Well maintained, well run facility. Great tennis, basketball courts, and pool. Good gym, but occasionally equipment is broken for too long.Getting a bit older, but they have updated some building interiors. The only frustrating things are package retrieval hours (9-6:30 and 5:30 on Fridays, closed Sundays) and the scattered trash around the parking areas from some lazy tenants.Ive had bikes stolen from my 2nd story balcony and from my car rack so lock them to the rails with a U-Lock.
Kitchen sink had bad clogging problem when we turned on the garbage disposal one evening. We reported the incidence and response was OK, but overworked serviceman could not come until next morning. He was courteous, and fixed the clogging problem quickly. Overall experience is excellent!.
Mark toured me different apartment choices. Hes really nice and professional. He knows the apartments well and he understood my concerns. He provided me sound choices which make my tour really efficient. I really appreciate Marks help on finding the apartment I need.
It is a really nice place to live - beautiful and cozy community and amenity. The office stuffs are very friendly, helpful and professional. When I ask them a question, theyre usually responding me promptly. They also remember me and my family and care us all the time. I believe this would be the best place to live in the bay area!
This is a review about a great maintenance tech named Tim.M. He is so caring, polite and helpful. I hope others follow his lead. Thanks Tim for your outstanding service yesterday.VidaUpdate: I wanted to express recognition for Rigo a maintenance gentleman whom is caring and helpful. I appreciate the service he did for me today! Very satisfied with his manners and work!
They have both old and new units. I have been staying here for 1.5 years. Community is very beautiful, largest swimming pool among many societies that I have checked. Very responsive and cooperating reception office and maintenece team. Turn around time for maintenance request is 1 day which is a big plus and copensates for any complaints of old units. They throw nice seasonal parties frequently.
I was helped by Julia Sibley and although I ended up not moving in this year, I was more than satisfied with her persistent and helpful assistance. She was very genuine and professional and I really liked my future resident experience. I look forward to moving in next year !
New to the San Jose and wanted to live in a safe area that was close to the things that mean alot to me such as Target and Trader Joes :) Jamesha was amazing and proivded me with a tour without an appointment. She allowed me to view an empty unit and gave insightful information regarding the unit and the surrounding area. Jamesha was also able to allow me to move in a couple days eariler to cater to my new work schedule. Thanks! Great customer service and would definitely recommend Eaves to close friends.
Eaves is the best apartment Ive lived ever, the environment is beautiful and the staffs are all very friendly, especially Houshmand, he is always helpful and eager to offer anything that could improve my living experience. Also Houshmand frequently checks with me like package delivery, and processes my requests super fast when I asked him to add roommates.
As a first time renter I wasnt sure what to expect when placing my first service request. Not only was it answered immediately, Javier C. was great. He came on time, was professional, friendly, and answered all of my annoying questions without making me feel like I was bothering him. All around exceptional service which just helps solidify my decision that Eaves was the right place to move to.
After relocating to the San Jose-Bay area from the east coast, it was differcult finding the right place which I felt comfortable. Given the staff being extremely helpful, understanding and friendly the process made me feel welcomed.I really enjoy my apartment, gym, pool and easy parking. So far Ive had a great experience and recommend this community for everyone.
If u are looking for a great pet friendly community environment youve found the right place. The amenities are ridiculously great 3 pools one Las Vegas style huge one and a clubhouse with and nice pool table and bar and if u like to get in shape a big workout gym with flat screen tvs. The best part is great customer service Jasmine, Jessica and the whole crew their all great people check it out for your self. Have fun.
Staff and maintenance is promt and always helpful. The fitness room has all the equipment you need for a full body work (bench, free weights, cardio) and you can relax in the hot tub afterwards. There is multiple sport courts if you enjoy playing basketball or tennis, which have lights for wheb it gets dark in the evenings. Do you like to grill? no problem, there is at least 5 different full sized grills gas powered and ready for your convenence. Parking spots are always available and lot is gated, doesnt get much better than that. Theres a pool and hot tub that is heated year round and if you need some quick dry cleaning there is a place on site. I want to personally thank Denise and Jessica for helping with the move in move out process and making for making things as easy as possible. Awesome staff, and managment keep up the great work!Johnny
Today I ended up taking medicine since I cant handle construction noises for 10hr straight everyday! I dont know what is essential about this solar panel installation, we are in stay home order and I cant go and work from Starbucks! also cutting off our water wasnt enough now theyre going to cut off out electricity over this construction works.
Lots of car break-in in the GATED parking lots (supposedly secure). When car break-in was reported to leasing office, all they said was file a police report. And their next steps to address this incident was to file my police report in their file folders to track any more incidents in the future - meaning wait for another break-in before getting more security in the area. I was told that they put additional lighting in the parking lot because several incidents already happened in the past. Obviously this additional lighting in the parking didnt do a good job of preventing another car theft. I specifically picked Eaves West valley exactly for being secured gated community, but ironically this is the same reason I am regretting that decision of choosing to live here - not secure at all.
Recently moved in and I couldn’t be happier with how easy this transition was. Jamesha was very professional & extremely helpful through the whole process and was available for any questions and follow up request we had! Really appreciate her going the extra mile to help us out!
I recently relocated from San Mateo to San Jose. Normally moves are super stressful, and you need to navigate everything from start to finish. So far, I have had a great experience. Monica Vernazza has been a sweetheart and has made the transition super easy. Shes been there to help with any questions, and has gone above and beyond to help me settle in. Thank you Monica.
I have had mixed experience staying at West Valley in the past 2 years. Have always made it a point to inform the management of the bad experiences (not that they have done much about it). But then there are some good ones which one remembers for a long time. Like the other day a technician named Hector went above and beyond his duties to help me fix bathroom fixtures. There were other technicians too (dont recollect their names) who have helped in the past.
I just moved in. I had a wonderful experience from application to move in. My Agent, Mark Corpuz is extremely professional and kept me informed through out the process and continues to do so. This was a great difference from my previous location. I’m very glad I made the move. The community is very nice and clean.
Looks very understaffed. Staffs look very tired and wants to end the tour ASAP. You will feel sorry to ask questions or ask to show additional rooms other than the one (and only one) that youve decided to see at first. We first asked to see two rooms. She seemed to dislike the idea but reluctantly agreed. Then somehow after the first tour, she led us back to the leasing office and tried to say goodbye. We told her again, that we still wanted to see the other one, but told us she had to tend to other guests.
Good nice community, very complete facilities (gym, bbq and pool area, common area for events, etc), friendly staff (kudos to Radmina and Mark from the office, Jose and Javier from maintenance). Frequent community events are a welcome surprise every time. Only con: needs 24 hours security, only on-call for security at nights.
We were urgently looking for a place to stay and Househmand was the one who help us to secure a place at Eaves West Valley within a short period of notice. He is an excellent representative and trying to help us all the best he could. I would strongly recommend this place for accommodation if you are looking for a secure, friendly and clean environment. :)
My name is Jean-Carlos Current Resident Just moved in last week from New York City and Jamesha Cain has been nothing but the biggest help .. She got me approved within minutes and made sure we moved in the same night ! She even stood after hours to make sure moved in on time and didn’t have to stay at a hotel thank you eaves west valley !
Today Mark Corpunz was really helpful.I am doing some volunteer teaching work and was having difficulty in getting resources.Mark took time out and very patiently supported me to get the resources ready. He not only helped me out but the students at the local school. Thanks very much Mark. The students and i appreciate it.Apartment Q301.
I am living here for last one and half year and so far my experience is very good and satisfied. The property is well maintained with all facilities like Gym, pool, spa, bbq and tennis court, also 24*7 maintenance is a great help. All the staff are friendly and helpful but most of the time I contact Paramjot Singh (PJ) for issues and my queries, He always solve my queries /issue on time , he is very helpful and responsive .
Very poor apartments. Very poor customer service. Had someone hit our car in the parking garage with no note. Had our mailbox broken into on property with a security gate and they stole a credit card. Had our bikes stolen off the porch. And still til this day have not received one note or call from a manager about any of these even after complaining.
I have been working with April, the Customer Service Supervisor, on multiple occasions. Each time I go to the office she goes above and beyond to help out. I cant explain how much I appreciate her help! I was really stressed and having a hard time and she walked me every step of the way through the process. I just cant say enough good stuff about her. She even helped me personally send a letter out that had nothing to do with the community.
Hi, I am living for the past 4 years in Eaves but never felt bad as ever as now...New Employees at Eaves Office is so worst and never ready to help or care about residents... They are very rude.. especially Emma Aldridge community consultant who recently joined the Eaves office is so rude and not ready to help the resident. I feel that this team in Eaves office now is going to mess up the entire community. I asked for help to scan the document, more than two times, Emma Aldridge tear the first page and gave it back saying that scanner is not working... If scanner is not working i understand but they dont have to tear the page of the document and give it back. I didnt ask for the print out to get it teared, Scanning the document page by page never get teared. Such an unprofessional response and no sorry also for tearing the document. Stay away !!
We will migrate from Korea to the United States with an immigrant visa. So I had to find a house to live in America. I luckily met EAVES. Mark especially kindly informed me well. So I finished the contract in Korea without any difficulty. I would like to thank Mark once again.

2022-05-20Ive lived in a studio unit and 1 bedroom unit for a year each so far, and its been quite pleasant. Despite so many dogs living in the complex, theres minimal barking and droppings around. Maintenance is quick to respond to service requests, and the location and amenities are convenient. If youre looking for relatively affordable rent near San Jose, I think this is a good spot.

2022-01-16When I first saw eaves I was so excited! It’s so beautiful and the property is huge! However, I didn’t expect the staff to be so amazing! Kamika helped me feel confident in my choice to call Eaves West Valley home! She took so much time to find something that fit me best in both comfort and budget. She has been a part of this process every time I am there from my original property tour to getting my keys!

2022-02-07Eaves is spacious, affordable, and really shines with its large amount of amenities. During move in, Robert and Monica helped to ensure I had all the information I needed and were very welcoming. As a college student, Eaves is great for my needs and most importantly my budget!

2021-12-06I was waken by some very loud construction noise this morning, not only the noise is annoying the whole room is shaking. I can hear the heavy knocking, even the steps he made. I called the office and they say there’s a new tenant moving in this week. So they cannot change a date to do the work. And I just wonder why you guys being supportive to new tenants but not to current tenants. And the agent just be like: ‘oh,it’s only you, why you are saying tenants?’ And I was like why do you care, is this an issue right now? Then she said I hear all what I hear.So above is what happened. And below are my feelings. Just like all other comments say, they are very supportive when you’re a potential customer, and when you live here, and when you have some issues, all they can do is nothing and leave you a bad impression by having an uncomfortable conversation. Definitely wanna move out ASAP and DO NOT recommend an apartment that has such kind of services.

2022-05-21Jason was a huge help, not only addressing my current issue that the service request was based on, but as well as going the extra mile to fix a couple other issues that had not become glaring problems yet. (loose door hinges, small drip under the sink). Terrific service and help!

2022-06-20Initial onboarding was made very easy by the leasing staff member, Rashmi and she is helpful, cooperative and supportive. However I think it’s evident the place is not worth the price. Whoever is thinking to consider it, pls know that studios and 1bhk will mostly be there as some 1960’s shelters at current top dollar rent. Needless to say but Appliances will also not be in good shape. It will be something that works but with some overhead. Paint and tile and kitchen shelves will all be there for name sake. I am surprised by the poor quality of the place in general. It will just make you feel that the homelessness problem of the state bit more reasonable. Customer onboarding is smooth and helpful but I don’t have high hopes for the ongoing tenant help and support since I saw a person at the registering the place and telling his trouble regarding something been stolen from his car in the premise and it occurs to the staff as if nothing has happened. Now if you think why I chose the place so it’s just to help them capitalize on my need at the time but it certainly isn’t something that i hope to call home for long term and would not honestly recommend anyone unless he‘s my buddy in which case he/she deserves to face the same trouble as me.

2022-03-23I just moved into a 1 bed 1 bath and I am thrilled to say that I had an amazing experience moving in. Kameka Cruz was very helpful and very patient with us. She made the process go by so smoothly and she ensured that we were all set. She made us feel at ease and as though we were right at home. For our first time leasing, we couldn’t have had a better experience. Thank you so much Kameka! We love our new unit! Best service by far! I highly recommend this community. Make sure to ask for Kameka! She’s awesome!

2022-03-22I’m still new here but the best person in the office that I’ve had to work with is Comeka she is the sweetest person that I’ve had to deal with in a long time. She has explained things me and when I first got here anything I need I called her she’s right there ready to help me she is a fantastic management for this organization. The only negative thing that I can say about the apartment complex is handicap parking. I am handicap and on my side of the complex there’s only two handicap parking spots and they’re never available and I do have a long walk to the parking lot from my apartment. Fortunately I was able to get a wagon so that I can carry my groceries from the parking lot to the elevator. I do love my apartment it’s quiet and beautiful and Comeka is the best But I just wish they would get better parking for handicap people like myself
