Came in as a new patient and just had my deep cleaning completed. Alexus is amazing! She made me feel welcomed and at ease. Alexus and Monica did a great job with my cleaning. I was pretty anxious at first but there was no need. The front desk ladies are very helpful as well. Highly recommended. Thank you!
Great first time visit here! We recently moved from Hawaii and were so reluctant to try a new dentist because weve been with our former dentist for almost 10 years. Eastlake family dentistry put us a ease and we are so grateful that we found a dentist that we can trust. The staff and Dr. Foust were very welcoming and were very patient with my kids, especially with my two year old who has never seen a dentist. The facility and office was very clean and organized and parking was not a problem. We are proud to say that this is our primary dentist here in San Diego. Mahalo Eastlake family dentistry!

I have been with this Dentistry since it opened here in Eastlake. I get my dental cleaning quarterly. They recently informed me that I had a chipped tooth, and offered to fill it in as soon as possible. The appointment set up was quick and easy, and the tooth filling process took less than 10 min- no need for numbing medications! Dr. Foust was approachable and friendly and answered all my post-procedure questions. I will continue to come back to this dentistry!

First time at Eastlake Family Dental and I couldnt be more impressed. Have to admit I was anxious, but the staff was great and put me at ease right away. From the Admin staff Blanca and Rebecca, the hygienist Lani (she had her work cut out for her) and Dr. Foust. They were all amazing!! Highly recommend and will refer my family and friends.
Alexis is great, she cleans my teeth thoroughly. She’s also polite as well. Dr Foust is also a great dentist, he did a good assessment to my teeth and give recommendation.

Inhave been a patient for over a year. Always a great experience at Eastlake Dentistry. They care alot about their patients, gentle with cleaning and exams. Plus I never have to wait more than a few minutes before I am seen.
The Team at Eastlake Family Dentistry took care of me for some extensive work across multiple months, caused by tooth decay under an existing crown. The process involved referrals to two specialists for two root canals and crown lengthening, but Dr Foust, Tori and Brenda did a great job with rescuing my tooth, and making sure my new crowns fit properly and look great. There were a couple of times when my temporary crowns cracked, and Dr Foust was very responsive after hours to give me some guidance. Initially I had some issues with the front office, but I think theyve fixed those. Overall, Im very happy with the dental care Ive received here.

My wife and I had our scheduled dental cleaning at Family Dentistry in Chula Vista, CA. The process was excellent. We were promptly checked in by Brenda and after the clinical updates and COVID-19 screening were completed, we were attended to by our respective hygienists. Monica promptly started my dental cleaning and was very efficient and thorough. No discomfort during the dental cleaning process. Just like clockwork, after scheduling our next visit, the whole thing was done with hardly any waiting.👍

I’ve always been hesitant to go to the dentist. I feel that many share this feeling. But Dr. Foust and his staff are so friendly and welcoming that all the anxieties of going to the dentist disappear. I’ve been going to Dr. Foust to get a new bridge for my missing tooth. It’s been a long journey but because Dr. Foust is such a highly skilled professional and only expects perfection in his work, he has been reworking all the potential bridge work to make sure a perfect fit. That’s what I expect from my dentist. And Dr. Foust is that dentist. His staff are highly professional and fun to talk to. Blanca the front office manager is so helpful in explaining all charges on services. Brenda who has been with me throughout my journey in getting my bridge goes above and beyond to make sure my temporaries fit right until my bridge is delivered. Monica the hygienist was so professional and gentle in my cleaning. Amazing touch especially when you have sensitive teeth. Above all, Dr Foust and his staff make you feel part of the family and that is what’s so great about Eastlake Family Dentistry. You are part of their family!

Front desk staff called me to cancel my appointment in August because “we don’t work Saturday’s anymore”. My family has been coming here for almost a decade? I have referred other families here, and one day they just dump you 😂 She did offer appointments as late as 5PM; however that’s when I get off work. Conversation ended awkwardly with “ok”, and she just hung up. It would have been professional to show some courtesy and refer your patients out to other trusted dentists in the area. I guess kindness and courtesy are hard to come by these days.
They got me scheduled much quicker than I expected, provided excellent, nonjudgmental service. I’ll be referring friends and family!

The care and service I received was exceptional! Dr. Mac was very thorough in her exam and cleaning. She was very informative and provided tips to better care for my teeth. Her assistant (I forgot her name, sorry :() was gentle while doing the Xrays and she was attentive to my needs while assisting Dr. Mac. Her front office staff was very helpful and greeted me with a smile when I entered into the office. Thank you Dr. Mac and staff!!

We have been using this lady for nearly 3 years now and she has been a blessing! One of the things that I really like about going to her office is that she keeps it really, really clean and inviting; at times, it feels as though youre at a resort somewhere. I have never felt like that before at a dentist office, lol! Her staff members are very sociable and let alone very kind, especially Sue her Office Manager! As far as I know, they have been doing an excellent job on mine and my wifes teeth, and as well as continually keeping us on schedule with our routine teeth cleaning. The last thing anyone wants is to have people talking about how bad their breath smells... With that being said, I strongly recommend Dr. Macatangay to anyone who is looking for a first class dentistry office!

Absolutely my best experience at the dentist ever! Why are people hesitant to go to a dentist? Two reasons: One, they’re afraid. Well, Dr Macatangay and her staff are welcoming and extremely friendly. Like someone else said, the office and area is very clean and modern with TVs that have fire sticks to help you keep up with your daily shows to speed up the time. Two, some see dentists as pushers meaning they tell you everything that’s wrong and what they need to do. Dr. Macatangay does an excellent job explaining maintenance and preventative management to ensure your teeth is healthy so you don’t have to have major work completed. I absolutely look forward in going to the dentist now.

2022-05-19Alexis is a great hygienist! I have never received such a thorough cleaning in my life. She has finesse and is effective in her method. Dr Faust is an excellent provider, he described findings/ recommendation clearly in a friendly and easy to follow manner. Also received a scan using some advanced machinery which Brenda operated. She seemed to navigate with ease what looked to be highly technical/ complex equipment. All services performed were outstanding! The office in general has a natural/ quick flow from one station to the next - theres little delay in moving the process along which is much appreciated. Thank you Eastlake Family Dentistry Team!

2022-02-11Love my dental care team. The two hygienists are amazing, so gentle that they make perio cleaning surprisingly pleasant. Dr. Faust was right on when diagnosing a gum problem, and my gums are healthier than they’ve ever been. Front desk staff are always helpful and easy to talk to. I am happy with Eastlake Family Dentistry.

2022-07-01I was floored with the warm welcome and excellent service from the front desk to the grilling chair! I planned a trip to San Diego from overseas just to have my teeth fixed. I contacted Eastlake family dentistry first and discussed the teeth accident so they could work with my insurance. They confirmed, I bought my tickets and everything went so fast and smoothly. I thought Dr Foust was God that time and his staff were the exceptional angels! For so little time, with so many sweats and works to return my smiles again, I am very grateful! And I am now scheduled to return to work on time! Kudos to Brenda, Tori, and Dr Foust! Love my smiles again with or without my mask on! More power! Your five-star service made me feel like an elite customer on a first-class seat! Merci!

2022-07-13When I walked away from my first consolation, I was very relieved to finally found a dentist office that did great work, was honest, and actively listened to my questions and concerns, by the dentist and assistants. I appreciate the time their admin staff does as well for being so thorough and effectively communicating what I should be aware of regarding my appointments and billing. Highly recommend Eastlake Family Dentistry if you need a great dentist.

2022-07-05I just had my routine checkup with Eastlake family dentistry and my experience was so wonderful. I thought my original appointment time was 9am but it was scheduled for 8. They called to check in on me and was so accommodating to being late and squeezing me in with no issues. Monica was my hygienist and she was so gentle working with me. I’d recommend this place for anyone!

I am so comfortable and I really trust the work he does on my teeth. Blanca the office manager is great as well she is the reason I am here!
