I had an amazing experience working with Anthony Modarelli from DiMarco Araujo Montevideo after a car accident in 2018. I had never been in a situation like this before and from the moment I spoke to Anthony, I had a clear direction of how everything would work moving forward. Anthony provided constant updates as to the progress of my case and was very clear in all of his communication. There was never a moment I felt out of the loop and any questions I had he was always there to answer them. He worked diligently for my resolution and was absolutely wonderful to work with. I will never recommend this law firm to anybody. They lied to me from the beginning it didnt fall through with important things that needed to be done. And at the end I switched lawyers because they were just so faulty with what they told me they would do.
Honesty is a trait hard to find these days but I found it here and its appreciated by me. I went to Larry Parker first and they did nothing for 6 months accept screw up my case. Luckily I found DiMarco Araujo Montevideo, fired LP and a month later my case was closed and a fat check was in my hands along with some great advise from my attorney just given to me. If you want honesty and efficiency from your attorney, go nowhere else.

I contacted the DAM firm when I was getting the run around from my employers work comp doctors. First a gentleman named sergio came to my house. And explained what they charge and what services theyd provide and reminded me that legal issues take time and to be patient. I had a million questions and a quick email to the office always got me a response within 48 hours. Which made my life easier than playing phone tag. Am I happy with my settlement. no. I have an injury that will bother me for life. But do I think the DAM firm did everything to get me the max settlement. YES hands down. I would use them again in a heartbeat if I had the chance to go back and start over. I was so scared I would be left high and dry because my employer is a HUGE company and very very well known. Although the work comp adjuster was the sweetest lady. She wasnt budging on the settlement offer. yet somehow the dam firm got me.more money. I cant say anything in a hurry, but I will try. Joel Thomas is a very professional trial attorney who fought 8 years in the workers comp system to get me what I deserved. Just the other day I was thinking about how lucky I am that Anthony Moderelli is my attorney. Extremely disappointed with the entire process took nearly 2 years I thought I was paying them to handle the paperwork meanwhile I was getting all the work and paperwork from my doctors to the attorneys they said it was to save me money yet I still got charged for it!! I might as well handled my own case! to my understanding my case was passed down to 2/3 different lawyers! I was under the impression the whole time that I had a good solid case only to wind up with 2k! What a joke Towards the end it felt like my case was just rushed and they wanted to get it over with what a waste of time such a disappointment!
Due to my case I had to interact with several different law firms. By far, the lawyers at DAM have been extremely courteous, professional and most importantly very honest. I retained this firm for a very complicated workers comp case. I was promised communication and updates from the case manager and attorney which I rarely if ever got. I was denied MY choice of treating doctor from the MPN so I never received any care for over a year which caused additional complications that should / could of been reduced or eliminated. I was lied to by the attorney on several occasions. Little follow through. I would rate this firm even lower than 1 star if possible. They may be good at car accidents but avoid them for workers comp. they are simply not worth the additional aggravation over and above having a catastrophic injury like I sustained. Might be good if you only need a bandaid. Wish I had never heard of this firm. DAM firm is pretty accurate.

I dont know if my review was removed from Google. But I remember making one. Anyhow, I only give them 1 star because they handled 2 of my P.I. cases that took them over 1 year 1/2 to settle. My cases were just sitting on a desk. They kept giving me the same story. Tossed from one attorney to another. Never even got my childs carseat that the attorney promised to get on my total loss vehicle. Then, to top it off because of their fault my drivers license was suspended for a year ( I didnt even know it was suspended- I found when I was renewing my insurance) for having sent an incomplete form to the DMV. I had to eventually step into their office to have one of the attorneys to speak with the DMV. Such an inconvenience. Id say you can find yourself another attorney. They took 7k for my 12k settlements & my medical Bills were 4-5k. Insane right? What a rip off and its not worth the wait.

They took over everything for me. It didnt stop after my settlement too. A few years later they were in contact with me regarding an additional settlement check from the company that went bankrupt. They have also been helpful a few times by emailing my paperwork or medical information.

I can say that I was very disappointed by the first time I was there, Guillemor attended me and left me waiting for about half an hour while he answered a supposedly 5 minute call. It took half an hour and never arrived. I had to do it. But I definitely dont recommend it.

2021-04-28They were very polite and very respectful and very professional. If I called and they werent in they always got back to me right away. Always answered my questions and I felt so much more comfortable with them than any attorney Ive ever had. They talk with you they dont talk down to you. And they always make sure you understand what theyre talking about and they dont have any problem at all explaining things to you.

2021-12-21The workers comp system, including lawyers are corrupt as can be. I just found some paperwork from my case that proves the DWC works with Liberty Mutual and Kaiser to deny care, even to the point of libel. I begged my lawyers here to correct the paperwork, they were too scared to stand up to Kaiser or Liberty Mutual.My case: I was hurt on 12/13 a Friday night, and reported it immediately. We filed a DWC form on 12/14 same night and I was seen Monday 12/16 for an accident that involves removing a tray with my right arm. I always expected the medical records to add up.When I finally am approaching trial 3 years later the paperwork doesn’t match up at all. I was hurt on Friday night and seen for a scheduled appointment on Monday morning; the first available.The DWC form had been altered to remove the body part involved in accident; DWC form had the second half of the sentence erased. It said right arm. Removing from right side with right arm is standard of procedure at The Capital Grille, I am also right handed.On my DWC the fraudulent form was dated from a month later than my date of accident. One thing that stands out is “notification of accident to employer” was changed to 12/17 (the day after my first visit to Kaiser)The Kaiser Permanente medical record removed my initial scheduled visit on Monday 12/16. My medical papers start on Wed 12/18 which was the day I returned to request emergency care. There was two other emergency visits, one in February and one when my arm became paralyzed. Neither appear in records.As a lawyer it’s easy easy to check my prescriptions and see they were written 12/16. This would easily prove both fraud and libel against Kaiser, Liberty Mutual, and Darden. It seems Dimarco Montevideo is scared of Kaiser or might even get a kickback from them to deny care. I think it proves they work together (with the workers comp lawyers) to take away someone’s access to medical care.I had to become homeless, move to Arizona, and lie about my accident to say it wasn’t workers comp related in order to have it looked at. My settlement was a joke, nothing for pain and suffering, having to become homeless/dropping out of college.Overall I can say this whole incident ruined my life. I had taken 18 units the year before which made me work part time so my settlement was pennies on the dollar. I was the highest hourly earner in my position at TCG averaging $64/hour for serving shifts, but I took so many classes my last two semesters I worked less than half time.Workers Comp paid out about $50,000, my lost wages for the time I was seeking care after are about $450,000, plus I had to drop out of school and never go back.I’m still in pain from my accident with an untreated hernia 8 years later.Lawyers suck.
