This is an expensive place for the food. The food was good, the service was fantastic. They let us split the appetizers up into one the deep fried asparagus and deep fried ravioli, they were very good.

Ive never been here before this trip and I wont go back. I wish I could have the same server, tho, when we go to other local restaurants - he was awesome. The best part about our food was the bread bites which come with every meal. There were 7 tiny clams in the linguini with clams and it was drowning in sauce that no one whos ever had clam sauce would call clam sauce. I would call it garlic sauce, but not clam sauce. 3 of us ordered a bottle of wine, a margarita, a beer and three entrees and the bill was $164 after tip. I was really sad to spend $164 on such a sad dining experience. I was, however, happy to too our server because he did a fantastic job.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in this city due to the food, ambience and service.It is currently open for everything, including indoor and outdoor seating, takeout and events.We went this past Saturday (4/10/21) and the place was doing vigorous business. Service en pointe, as always, and great food (though I didnt enjoy my dish for the first time ever). Great ambience and felt comfortable.No need to dress up here. EXCELLENT place.

The Italian food was excellent, the entertainment was The Marquis...an exciting, fun cover band. They rocked the older dinner crowd...then some of that dinner crowd stayed & got their Dancin groove on! I had a great time!👍🏻👍🏼👍🏽👍🏿!!! 💯💯 😁♥️🥰 👏👏

Everything was excellent! Lamb chops, Tri tip and chicken, shrimp scampi. Tiramisu, cheese cake!! Was very fresh and tasty. And our waiter Adrian did a great job with awesome customer service. We will be back.

Excellent! Very very good happy hour is phenomenal. We had 2 glasses of wine, 2 appetizers, fried ravioli and calamari which was cooked to perfection. About 26 nicks including tip!!! The ravs were good too! Great service great atmosphere. Happy hour prices are excellent.
Came here last night for a birthday party. I was with a large group of about 12 people. Wait staff was pretty attentive, although a two people had to wait a little while longer for their salads to arrive. I ordered the Greek chicken with risotto, which was pretty good, although I think I will ask for vegetables on the side next time. My favorite items were the crab cakes and their pistachio sorbet. Definitely worth checking out if you are nearby.
Food and service was amazing. Dont go here if youre looking for cheap and bland tasting food. Go here if you want delicious authentic Italian food with very generous portions for the price. I especially recommend the crab cakes. Melt in your mouth and its made with more crab than crumbs like some places try to pull off. Highly recommend!!!!
We had a dinner function for my Rotary Club there last night. Great service and delicious food. We all had individual checks and all worked out well. We had used the back room with a curtain drawn for privacy. Great place for our social event.
Really fresh and amazing food. The service is always impeccable.... Sometimes I meet friends at the bar for drinks and appetizers and thats always a great time too!! The only drawback, through no fault of their own is that the parking is sometimes further than Id prefer. On the upside theres 24 hour security. I have accidentally overindulged at happy hour and had to leave my car overnight. No problems whatsoever. Love this place!!!!Ooooohhhh almost forgot to mention- Ive been at 3 events in the last year that was catered by De Vega Bros and it was excellent!!!!
De Vega Brothers hosts our lunch meetings and does a fantastic job accommodating 30 people for lunch! The quality of food and service is excellent!
We go to Da Vega Brothers every week, we love this restaurant. One of The best lunch and date dinner spots in Stockton. Their clam chowder is the best I’ve ever had. The full bar is always stocked. And the owners and servers always take more than great care of you.Go there right away don’t wait!

Fantastic Italian food! My wife and I stumbled on this place while passing through Stockton. Our server was very attentive and pleasant. The food was not your typical hum drum Italian food... it was well prepared and the most authentic Italian food Ive had in quite a while. I got Alfredo sauce with my dish and it wasnt the typical overly-rich cream bomb youd find at your everyday Italian food establishment. The sauce was a wonderful balance of savory, creaminess and richness with hints of fresh pepper and garlic. The bread used with the bruschetta and garlic bread was perfectly seared and impossibly soft yet crisp. The food is well thought out and well executed.Do yourself and your family a favor and forget Olive Garden for a night! Try De Vega Brothers! You wont be disappointed and you will go back again and again.To the staff and owners of De Vega Brothers - Thank You and Good Luck!
Great food - sometimes. So inconsistent. Some days I have told people the best meal Ive had in Stockton other days I wonder why I come here. I cant figure out if they got different quality control on different days. My wife and I came in and ordered the exact same rib eye steak meal. Mine was incredible, thick juicy with delicious mushrooms and sauce. Hers came thin blackened with no mushroom and sauce. I looked at the waiter and said seriously. He got it corrected but that should never happen at a restaurant like this, at least look at it before you hand it to your customers.Most people are probably too drunk to notice these issues but really!

I had lunch with my girlfriend at De Vega Brothers last week and the food was delicious! We both decided to have a small bowl of Clam Chowder before our entree and agreed it was one of the best weve ever had. The Chicken Picatta was very flavorful and the serving size was quite generous. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I will definitely dine there again.
Service was good. The food, however, was not. We started with the fried ravioli and calamari which were average. I had the pork osso bucco. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender and had good flavor. However, it sat on top of a bed of noodles, which did not absorb the thin sauce. It might have been better on mashed potatoes. The sauce was thin and watery. I took a bite of some brown mashed potatoes, and they were pasty. I also tried some of the risotto, which was like sticky brown rice as opposed to risotto. I have come to this restaurant several times in the past, hoping that the food would be better because I want to like this place. Unfortunately, its not to my liking.

Pros: Service was excellent and friendly, portions were generous. The things that were good were very good. The Ahi tuna was excellent, tender and succulent. My husband had the tri-tip and he enjoyed it very much.Cons: Pasta with garlic butter was overpowered with raw garlic. I happen to like a LOT of garlic, but this was verging on inedible. My daughters penne was very oily, the cream sauce split, and just appeared to be greasy. Overall for an Italian place, the Pasta was a bit disappointing.Bottom line: Relaxing atmosphere, a bit overpriced, might give it one more try another time to see if it was just an off night.
I ordered Chicken Picata and the chef forgot the capers? The 1st dinner 2 weeks ago was excellent. Its hit and miss.
Setting, Decor, Music and especially the food were all excellent. My first time and I was impressed withe the service as well. A very nice place for dinner and conversation.

Brand new hotel, so it is squeaky clean, well appointed, nice. I didnt get recognize for my elite status at check in. Well. Not verbally. I got an upgrade. Kudos to hotels that upgrade one night elite stays. You werent going to sell the room, Im staying one night, why not make happy loyal customers? Also kudos, noon check-out. So.

I went last Thursday night, and they made eggplant parmesan totally vegan for me. It was so delicious. If you want Italian food that is vegan, DeVegas Brothers can do it. I was so happy.

Had dinner here tonight and it was great! Sam was our waiter and did a very good job making suggestions. The food we started with was the sauteed mussels which we split because of De Vega Brothers generous portion! Followed it with a bowl of minestrone soup that you can taste the freshness of the vegetables. For the main course, I had the Veal Saltimboca and my wife had the pork osso bucci! Both dishes were cooked to its perfection! Sam suggested to finish our meal with the Raspberry Zinfandel sorbet! So many desserts to choose from so we ordered flan and tiramisu to go! Great meal! Great night! Definitely we will be back! Thanks Sam for a fr ed at service!

Stayed for a long weekend. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The employees in the restaurant were very friendly. A BIG shout out to Jullian at the front desk. He checked us in and was so friendly and helpful. He gave us recommendations for restaurants and helpful with directions.

The worst Italian food we have ever had. The sauces were so salty. Veal came in bite size pieces smothered in salty sauce. The salad was iceberg lettuce with a few small pieces of tomato. Very expensive.

2021-12-06Friendly service but just average food. Chicken Marsala had cream in it and the pasta was over cooked with very reduced tomato sauce. They said the Italian dressing was homemade but it was slimy like good seasons packaged dressing. NOT GOOD.

2021-07-24My first time trying Da Vega brothers because I heard great things. I ordered a chicken pasta with minestrone soup. The soup was a bit sour for my taste, but the pasta was pretty good. I was a bit disappointed by the presentation of the bread. It was very hard, and I’m pretty sure they gave me what was left over. Probably wouldn’t go out of my way to come eat here again unless invited to. Staff was friendly.

2021-06-02De Vegas is one of our favorite places, especially for happy hour. Today we took our graduate out for lunch about 11:30. Although outside dining in the shade listening to the water feature was tempting, we sat inside for the wonderful AC. Excellent food and service. I had the burger with sautéed onions, mushrooms and bell pepper with a side salad. My son had the French dip on croissant with fries and got a cup of chowder. Loved all of it. I had a margarita on the rocks no salt. Drinks are powerful here! Love it! Raul is usually our server and never disappoints. Always provides excellent service.

2022-03-31Love the food! Chicken pasta is bomb. Rib eye, prime rib, mashed potatoes have always been great. Ive eaten there probably a dozen times. Always professional, they have a piano and a guy who plays on Fridays and Saturdays I believe. If you want to talk during your meal sit in the back. Its too loud for my liking. But it is what it is. Still a great place imho!
