I love this store. Very friendly, I do not get followed around in the store like others, or if I do, I dont notice it! That makes my experience far more enjoyable. Theres nothing I hate more, then to be a hard-working mom (I work 2 jobs), and then to be followed around the store like Im going to steal everything. Thank you DDs! You rock!
Not a bad store! You can find a lot of cool stuff there if youre into housewares, pictures, clothes, Electronics but a lot of the stuff is defective and or generics knock-offs but other than that pretty reasonably priced and a lot of stuff you can find for a great steel if its on clearance. Like to stop by every couple months just to have a browse.
Good clothes. But what always interests me is a chance and getting a new sketchbook or other art items. They have inexpensive sketchbooks with good paper. My daughter found a nifty outfit and I got three sketchbooks with heavy weight paper for less than twenty dollars. Store is clean too.
If you are looking for large kitchen pots and pans, this is the place to go. Even though they do not have a large selection, what ever is available is relatively inexpensive.
Have been shopping at this dds for a few years especially when I lived next to it. This is one of the best and cleanest locations they have also revamped the store making it easier to shop. They get good products that dont always look damaged (like other locations). Always a calm atmosphere w/cashiers that do their job quickly & efficiently.

HORRIBLE STAFF!! Rude..refused to get the manager. The lady in the fitting during the day had the NERVE to yell at my 8 year old son who needed to use the restroom. I got to the register they didnt get the manager as requested. I called this evening and the lady first said you need to call the front to talk to the manager and hung up. Called the number on the receipt and got the lady again this time she tells me there is no manager.
I like this DDs...its definitely not the most cleanest or organized but I have find some hidden treasures ☺️
Most DDs high or low volume are well put together let alone maybe even cleaner. This location was not keeps with. Floors were filthy like the parking lot. Low variety in mens ware. Staff interaction was poor and forced. Fitting room personnel not attentive at all. Was there a manager there today at 3pm?
I wish I had more choices for rating, prices are unbearably good, cashiers are very pushy ( I was told thats how they HAVE to do their job! Great help if you need it, floors mostly dirty and the worse is the most dirty carts! so very dirty you hate to touch them.
This place is good for discount clothing and discount household items. The quality of some of the clothing isnt always the best but it is discount so you cant really expect the same quality as high fashion stores. They have a lot of unique clothing and purses though. I like this place.
This DDs is ok. Maybe its the time if year, but clothing selection was low. Looked like lots of leftover clothing items. Cashiers not nice or inviting.

Disappointing prices. I think DDs mother store, Ross, has better prices now, especially for the quality. Not one decent mans coat for less than $30 when Ross clearance rack is sure to have a few for$12.99. But kudos to the cute security guard who said Welcome To DDs instead of welcome in -- the new ghetto-greet we are starting to hear in good will, dds, ross, dollar tree, tacobell and any other place with cheap subliminally in the title... Like they cant recall the name of the store or something. You better start respecting the company on your pay stub.

This place has very reasonable prices I just bought a beautiful pink blouse for $5:00 and my S/O a pair of jeans for $3:00.You cannot even get them at Savers for that price

2021-11-01Dds is different from store to store when it comes to merchandise and availability of such. The mens department is filled with fashions that seem several years old. The complete opposite is true in the womens departments. Hip, up to date, filled with merchandise. And itseems to encompass a major part of the store.Most of my female friends just love dds and I dont have any male friends who shop there. I might purchase 1 item in 8 visits. I wish it was different. , because I think the shopping plan of dds is a smart one. But wish it was geared more towards the male gender.

2020-09-10This was my first time in this store, and if I wasnt with my boyfriend I would have spent a lot more time checking it out. So unfortunately I only had a chance to browse thru some of the clothes, but ended up finding a few great deals in the 15-20 minutes I did have. Best comparison would be a Ross or TJ Maxx, but the prices are even better here. We really enjoy thrift shopping and were so disappointed when the Goodwill by our home on Santa Teresa Blvd. & Bernal Rd. closed down. We happened to be running other errands near dds so this was a random stop, but totally worth it. 😁

2020-12-31The young lady at the counter who called me up 2 times when people were still at the register gathering their stuff stated I was giving her attitude when I told her louder the 2nd time that I was waiting for the other customers to leave first. She stated ugh dont give me attitude and I said excuse me, Im not, my voice is strong but I was waiting for the other customers to leave and other people have been so close and not maintaining the 6 feet, so I am just keeping safe but she was to busy talking over me saying someone else gave her attitude and she didnt want any more. Possibly learn to not be unprofessional and you wont get attitude? I understand we all have issues with humans in the world, inside and outside of work, but I wasnt giving her attitude, I was just trying to wait and give the other customers respect and not crowd them. Due to that interaction I didnt have a good experience.
