I bought my beautiful wedding dress from Davids bridal. Buying the dress was not difficult, and with the help of my friends and Ayonna, I had finalized my dress in less than couple of hours. Once my dress arrived, I was super excited to try it. However, even though it was my size, the dress was quite tight and needed work for it to fit me correctly. Thus, I ended up shelling out almost the cost of the dress in alterations. This additional bomb of a cost did disappoint me a bit. (600$ in alterations for a 700$ dress seemed quite steep)I am still giving 5 stars, because once the dress was all fixed, it was perfect. On the day of the wedding, it looked absolutely gorgeous, and nothing else seemed to matter. So even though I had a bumpy ride, it all worked out eventually.
Angela was such an amazing stylist to work with! She totally put me at ease, and everything about our time together was comfortable and productive. I didnt have my friends with me on that visit, but I felt like I could talk to her as a friend to find the perfect dress. She really listened to what I said, and even what I didnt say, which made her able to suggest things I would have never tried on my own. That was ultimately what led me to THE dress, and I owe it to her! I couldnt be happier, thanks Angela for all your time and support!!
We had such an awesome time at David’s Bridal looking for my little sister’s wedding dress. Antoinette not only helped us find the perfect dress (at our first appointment) but also made us feel comfortable and free to be honest about what our bride wanted!Five star review all around!!!Thank you so much Antoinette, you’re amazing! ☺️
They were quite understaffed with full bridal appointments during my visit, but Rachelle made sure that every person was attended to, while juggling phone calls and other things! She did an amazing job multi-tasking and making lemonade out of lemons. While they didnt have most of the dresses I had picked online wanting to try on, she chose beautiful dresses in flattering styles and we left with the wedding dress ordered!
Used this location for alterations on my wedding dress today! Marjan was absolutely amazing! She explained how things worked and had helpful recommendations. She knew what my dress needed before I could even tell her. Im now more excited about my dress than I was originally trying it on! Im so excited to pick it up in a few weeks!
Janice was super helpful and responsive to the styles that I liked/disliked. My wedding date at city hall is coming up quickly, so she advised me about timing for dress shipment and allowing enough time for alterations. I really appreciated that because it helps me focus in on in stock dresses and which styles may be easier to alter.
I scheduled an appointment over a week in advance. I had the email confirmation and still calles to confirm the appointment for my daughter. We arrived about 5-7 minutes early to check in, very excited of course. We noticed they have these pink circles with each persons name, appointment time and the person that has been assigned to help them. We didnt have one. They also couldnt find our appointment in their schedule even when I showed them the conformation email. We were told to maybe go get pizza and come back. Then we were told that someone would attend to us in 10-15 minutes. 45 minutes went by! No one EVER came to help us. We watched as other soon to be brides were tended to. One employee kept walking by us looking upset every time she saw us in the store. When I inquired about the wait time, I was told they had a lot of people in the store. I asked what is the point of making an appointment if were not going to be attended to? We just felt embarrassed, extremely upset, disrespected and insulted. Then this morning I received an email that said, We missed you at your appointment! Still looking for your dream dress? Not from you. No thanks I will never spend a dime there.
Hello! I have been so pleased with Davids Bridal this week! My high school sweetheart and I are celebrating ten years together in Hawaii next month, and we spontaneously decided to elope during our trip! This means we only have ONE MONTH to get everything together! When I called Davids Bridal on Wednesday morning, they got me in for an appointment to look for dresses that evening at 7:30 PM. My parents joined me, and Ayonna was my consultant. She was WONDERFUL! I felt so comfortable, and we were treated with so much respect. I was never rushed to get in and out of the five dresses I tried. After putting my dress back on for the second time and saying YES, they helped me order the accessories, and even though I stayed about fifteen minutes after their closing time, they honored a promotion that expired at the close of business that day. The dress fit perfectly, so I was able to take it home with me that night! The next day, I called to schedule my alterations appointment, and they squeezed me in for Saturday. Abby, Cam, and the whole staff in the alterations department were so accommodating and considerate. Cam did an amazing job taking up the length of my dress, and Abby was so kind to help me put a rush on the alterations. Since it was a sample on the floor, I need to have it dry cleaned before our trip, so we had to add the rush. I have had a wonderful experience, but my only concern was that on Saturday, it was a very busy day, and I overheard that a couple of brides were worried because the store was having trouble finding their dresses, but I am happy to say that by the end of my appointment, both of the brides had their dresses in hand! My personal experience with Ayonna, Abby, Cam, and the rest of the staff at Davids Bridal this week has been delightful. Thank you so much!!
I was very pleased with Jiawen’s service on 2/5/2022. I went in to try on wedding dresses with my family and she listened to all of our suggestions and opinions with such grace and ease. Not only was she receptive to us, but we appreciated how she offered us her own expertise in the matter! Everything that she suggested worked together beautifully! She even took time to fix and braid my hair before placing the vail on me. She truly knows how to make any bride look and feel beautiful!
I found my reception dress here!!! The staff is so helpful! We worked with Fayzeh and she was amazing. She took her time to really understand what I was looking for and had so many helpful suggestions. I was so happy with my experience. The manager, Michael, was also incredibly helpful and a pleasure to work with.
I had a frustrating experience at the San Jose Davids Bridal due to the rude employees that were working at the welcome desk. I was there on Saturday Feb 5, 2022 at around 1:30pm. I believe one of the employees was named Karen H. or something similar.I went to find a bridesmaid dress as a walk-in customer after seeing on the website that all stores accept walk-ins, but I was sternly told that there were no spots available all day (which was not true, I later saw online that there were 2 spots available later in the day), and that there were no change rooms that I was allowed to use.This by itself would have been understandable, but then a group walked past saying that they were not going to be using their allotted reservation time. I asked if I could take their spot instead and was sternly told no since they could not make me a reservation in store (no explanation as to why). I then asked if the spot would be cleared out so I can make a reservation online and was again told no with no explanation. A manager then came out and told me that their appointment was for special occasions very condescendingly and did not explain what this meant until I pushed further. Turns out I was not allowed to take this appointment because I was looking for a bridesmaid dress and not a special occasion dress. I am still confused as to what this means because do special occasion dresses require a different changing room that I cant use because Im looking for a bridesmaid dress? At this point I did not want to argue so I asked if I could just take a look around. I was told yes but only if I did not take any of the dresses off the rack (again very condescendingly).I understand that the store was busy that day, but the rude tone I was met with for asking reasonable questions was uncalled for.
This review is for the alterations department.I purchased my wedding dress from Davids bridal in January, for my September wedding. Bottom line is that alterations messed up so much and took so long that the dress was barely ready in time for my wedding. Hannah saved the day, after 3+ other employees almost ruined the dress.I had the back removed from my strapless dress, and straps added. I worked with Jon mainly and for the last 2 months of alterations, he would sporadically no-show to our appointments.In the last 2 months of alterations, I realized the straps added to my dress looked extremely odd. They kept slipping off my shoulders and bunching up strangely. When I pointed the issue out to him, he said that he thought it looked fine and barely adjusted it even a centimeter which didnt help at all.I finally hit my breaking point a month before the wedding when the straps still didnt fit me right, the dress gaped underneath my armpits, and I showed up to my appointment and Jon wasnt even there. I seriously almost cried in the store.Hannah saved the day. She swooped in, took over the project, and made a ton of changes to the dress. Turns out where the traps had been placed was completely wrong. She lowered the straps and tightened the armpit area. Within a single appointment, she had made more progress on the dress than the other employee had done on my dress in the past 5 appointments. She was an absolute angel and even gave me her personal phone number.5 stars to Hannah and 0 stars to the rest of the alterations experience.
I had an excellent experience at Davids Bridal. Fay made my experience very wonderful, delightful and brought over the perfect accessories to add to my wedding dress. The veil the belt the shoes and wow. I could not be more than happy. Thank you Fay for the perfect customer service.
Daniella was freaking AMAZING! I have been to this store one other time and left feeling defeated, unheard and unimportant. But this last trip left me feeling like a bride! She took the time to listen to what I was looking for and delivered. She was funny! And adamant that I be open to trying things that I was certain I would not like.She consistently asked me how *I* felt in the dress. Which was new! She asked like she cared!Thank you for investing your time and your effort into making sure I felt good walking down the aisle to my future wife!
Possibly the worst customer service ever. We went to the store after booking an appointment and there was absolutely no one at any of the check-in tables to assist us, so we decided to start looking at dresses on our own. Still not seeing anyone, we decided to ask one of the associates for assistance. She responded that she would find someone and send them our way. We tried on all the dresses we picked out, and still no assistance. When we went to ask about different sizing in a particular dress, one of the associates merely took a look at the dress and claimed they did not have it in any other sizes. Overall, very disrespectful and unwelcoming, leaving us completely confused throughout our experience.
I would never recommend anyone shop here. As other people have said, their return policy is garbage. You have to return it within 7 days from purchase, which is insane by itself, but this counts even if you ordered it and havent even received it yet, so if you order your size in store, and they receive it in three weeks, you are past the return date and will only get store credit. Even if the dress is messed up, comes later than your wedding day, or doesnt end up fitting well. Absolute trash. I could only get store credit and wait another month to get a dress that may or may not fit me. I took the store credit since that was the only thing the store manager could do (I get it, its the company policy, not really the store associates faults). Also do not - I REPEAT DO NOT sign up for their trash email list. Ive been getting- non-stop spam from random wedding businesses (like a probably fake photography company from across the country from me) and FROM MLMS. Straight up predatory emails and spam. Amazing. This is next level spam too - Ive never had this bad a time with it and Ive signed up at other retail stores before.Straight up just go literally anywhere else. I ended up getting a dress of higher quality that I liked way more from Macys. You deserve better than this place.
I had the pleasure of working with Daniella for my appointment. She made everything so easy and comfortable. She didnt pressure me to buy, she was down to earth and friendly. I came alone to my appointment but she made the experience so much fun! I tried on my dream dress and she paired it with a veil that made me cry when I saw them together! It was the first time I got emotional during my entire wedding planning experience. It was such a special time and I owe that to Daniella!Thank you Daniella!!
Omg - Courtney girl, you were amazing!She made me feel so special and beautiful, and found me THE dress!!! I came to look for a wedding dress because my last trip to a bridal salon wasn’t so great, I was feeling uninspired to say the least. With her help I was able to try on dresses I liked off the rack, some of them multiple times. She had the patience of a saint, and the bubbly loving energy I needed. I am so excited to walk down the aisle in my dress! 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND!
We had an appointment at 3 but showed up late at 3:20. They said they gave our slot away and noone could help us. We pulled some dresses then stylist Erin stepped up and offered to help us and did a wonderful job helping my 3 bridesmaids in and out of dresses and finding the perfect one!! Thank you!! You were a life saver.
My experience was David’s bridal was wonderful. Angela was the best and made me feel so comfortable and knew so much! I trusted in her picks and found my dress. I made an appointment right when they opened which I recommend doing if you aren’t someone who loves trying on clothes because they get so busy but it was so private for me.
Angela went above and beyond helping us to find the perfect dress!From the very beginning she listened to the styles we were looking for and knew exactly which dresses to suggest. Her thorough knowledge demonstrated she’s been in the industry for some time and it really showed. She was an absolute pleasure to work with, and within 1.5 hours we found our dress! Esli was so kind and helped me pick out a bridesmaid dress. He had great suggestions and walked me through the process of ordering. He even got me some heels to wear during, so I could see the actual length of the dresses. Very good variety to choose from at this location too.
*Edit: the manager just helped us to lower the alteration price. Changed from 1 star to 4. She really saved the day and our experience at David’s Bridal.They get you with the alterations. Was told it would cost maximum $300 (Antoinette is the one that told us this) and they wanted to charge us more than $800. Almost more than the price of the dress itself.They are scammers. Avoid if you need any kind of alterations done!

Katcha was amazing!! I was trying on a dress for my upcoming wedding and he walked by and said “that dress looks amazing on you” needless to say, I bought it! Super happy with my purchase😌Rachelle, even though I didn’t have an appointment, let me try on the dress since I had the size that I needed. Wouldn’t have made the purchase today without her helping me out!
In had an appointment to shop for dresses the 1st girl (wish I had gotten names) was so helpful helped me put on my shoes zipped my dress then I guess she went on break and the next girl who helped me obviously had no interest in helping with those small details no big deal since my best friend was there to help and I found a dress and veil. Made appointment for alterations all went well made appointment for pick up then that day someone called at 3:30 3 hours before to tell me they need to reschedule then couldnt work with me to pick it up on one of my days off from work then she gave me an attitude when I showed frustration. Like they should have called me in the morning what if I had planned my whole day around it. We bought floor model dress and veil come to find out theres a tear in my veil so when I finally went to pick up my dress I talked to a manager her name was Kelly helping out from Modesto store she was amazing she exchanged my veil and my dress fit perfectly so it all worked out. I wanted to email but your website is so confusing I kept hitting contact us but could never get the contact information.
Everyone At David’s bridal store on the corner of Winchester and Stevens Creek Boulevard in San Jose Were absolutely amazing. I walked in and one hour later I walked out with everything I needed for Saturday and the prices were unbelievable!!! This experience really brought joy to my heart and I would recommend anybody and everybody to shop at this David bridal store. Ettsy and Joy were so kool and hip and most of all really really nice 🙂
Joy was thoughtful in how she helped us out. We were a group of 6 bridesmaids plus our lovely bride and 3 (socal) bridesmaids trying on in another David’s bridal. We explained what we were looking for, and she provided multiple options, sizes, and other recommendations based on what we asked for. She also provided timelines for orders, delivery, alterations so that we could prepare for the best. We said yes to our dresses! Lol Thank you so much Joy! 🤗
I absolutely loved the experience I had at this location. Fayzeh was the staff member that assisted us, and she was nothing short of amazing. My family and I picked out about six dresses for me to try on and Fayzeh chose one that she said she loved and that I had to try on. I am so glad that I listened to her because I ended up not liking any of the dresses that we chose and completely fell in love with the one Fayzeh chose for me. Throughout the entire appointment she listened to what I wanted and she wasnt pushy. She also let me try on a bunch of veils and accessories once I had found my dress. I ended up buying my dress, a belt and two veils. The experience was everything I had ever dreamed of when I would think of one day going wedding dress shopping.
I made an appointment at the david bridals store in san jose, california to specifically get sized. Despite a scheduled appointment I had to wait upon my arrival. Then once someone was available after about 10 minutes they took me to a dressing room and brought me different dresses. None of the dresses brought to me were the specific bridesmaid dress and not a dress was the same color needed. I was never appropriately sized for a dress even though that was the whole reason I drove to the store. The lady just had me guess my size and brought me random dresses to try on. I left the store still not knowing what size I am, hence me having to order two different sizes of the same dress to try on at home. The store lacked any attention to me as a customer and I had to walk around the store numerous times to get help. I am not sure what making an appointment was even for when the person working didnt even stay by me to help. I left very upset and felt that my time was wasted.
Ayonna is the most amazing bridal assistant. She went above and beyond and we found what we needed. She was so helpful and actually cared about what was going on. We had went four times prior and did not get treated this well the other three times were horrible. But Ayonna is amazing and made our time great . Thanks again Ayonna Davids bridal is lucky to have you on their team we wish you the best .
Esli H. was super helpful, if you need a stylist to help you find the right dress, he is the one. My fiancé came into look for the wedding dress, he was extremely helpful, patient, and attending to her needs. It was our first visit and he help her found the dress after a three hour session. Esli provided us exceptional customer service!
I went for a bridesmaid’s dress appointment. Walking around the store made me feel like I was walking in the Macy’s dress section. It was a busy Sunday, they were understaffed as well, but maybe they shouldn’t have accepted all walk-ins or should have set the day as fully booked? I didn’t feel taken care of, I could have just shopped on my own as my stylist was running around.
Gina was just amazing, after having a bad experience at a different location I came to the San Jose location. She went up and beyond for future wife and I.She called 3 different location to see if What we needed was available, Which took a while and she never complained. I also want to mention Amy she noticed that we have been sitting around a while and she continued to check up on us to make sure that we were OK she also took the time out to make sure that someone Didn’t forget about us.
Very bad experience here. We had an appointment at 1:30p and no body called us until 2:10. After I started complaining about the long wait time to see a stylist, the store manager came and said they’re short-staffed. Well..don’t book appointment if you’re short staffed and don’t waste people’s time. Respect people’s time and call in advance to let them know you’re short staffed and reschedule.

It is a busy prom / summer wedding mess right now and a few of the associates here in san jose were so patient and attentive. This was my first visit to a bridal store and chose to go to Davids Bridal because my wedding is a few months away and I figured they would have more options to choose from. I created an account online with Davids Bridal website to make the experience smoother, I was able to look at dresses and save my favorites. I called the store before booking my appointment to make sure they had the dresses that I liked available to try on in store.Upon arrival my party of 3 and I were greeted and were asked to look at dresses while we waited for someone to assist with our appointment. The store was really busy as expected since it was a Saturday. It did take about 15 minutes to have our consultant greet us and get our appointment going. There was also some confusion and the consultant was not able to find my appointment in their system so she couldnt see my favorite dresses. She was really nice and asked for my style preference. I showed her the dresses that I liked online and she was able to find some of them and gave me other great options to choose from.The appointment did feel pretty rushed but I was happy with how helpful my consultant was overall. I ended up purchasing my wedding dress on the first visit which was one of my top picks online. The staff member that helped me with the checkout was also rushing me to pay and I had a few questions about how alterations would work and asked her to explain the process for me since this was my first time purchasing a wedding dress. She did answer my questions which Im grateful for but it did feel like I had to dig for them.
I had such a great experience here! You can tell it was busy day for all the stylist but everyone was kind, sweet, and had such positive attitude. My stylist was Lexi and she was so helpful, kind, and patient! She was knowledgeable about all styles and collections and helped me find a bridesmaids dress that would arrive on time. Finding a dress is a stressful process but she made the experience so smooth and made sure I was comfortable, I knew I was in good hands with her. Thank you Lexi!

We are at the beginning stages of putting anythingwedding together and Davids Bridal expansive selection of bridal attire amazing staff and friendly service are key to our decision making of what she decides.
I bought a beautiful gown from David’s Bridal2 1/2 weeks before my wedding and they accommodated my very last minute alterations. My experience was perfect from the beginning, finding a dress in that short amount of time and having it altered isn’t easy. David’s Bridal made it easy for me and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is getting married.
Absolutely loved my experience here! I came with my sister (bride) to find her wedding dress and do a fitting.Bianca was very sweet and easy going, she did not make it hard to explain what my sister wanted. She looked at each photo of the dresses my sister took and found amazing choices to choose from!Patty helped us as well, and she really made the experience memorable. She gave so many tips and alteration advice, but the best part of it all was her positive mindset towards everything. PLUS, she was hilarious!!Overall, this was such a great experience and to make the day shine even brighter…SHE GOT THE PERFECT DRESS!!Thank you so much to Bianca and Patty for making this experience an amazing one. Updated March 2022 - with Daniellas amazing help, I found my wedding dress. It was a wonderful experience! Thank you Daniella and Davids Bridal.2017: I have bought 2 bridesmaid dresses at this location this year, and my sister got her wedding dress at a SoCal location. All the dresses are lovely and I cant say enough great things about the alterations department - they are AMAZING! They do incredible and careful work, and they are quick. I would recommend Davids Bridal to anyone searching for a wedding or maid gown.
My experience at David’s Bridal was not great. I was shopping for bridesmaids dresses, and it was as if my consultant was disappointed from the beginning because she had to take a bridesmaid appointment. I have heard that in the bridal industry the consultants usually don’t want bridesmaids appointments because they don’t make as much commission. But they shouldn’t show their disappointment! She didn’t ask me one single question about my wedding or my wedding dress, and overall just seemed really apathetic. It wasn’t a personal experience at all. We also felt rushed towards the end of the appointment. Overall, just really poor customer service. I would avoid shopping here if possible. It was quite crowded and didn’t seem like a nice atmosphere to shop for a wedding dress. I will be looking at other bridesmaid dress options, and definitely won’t be returning back to this location.
Horrible experience from start to finish. The staff was not helpful and was actually very rude 4 out of the 5 visits/conversations needed to have my mother-in-laws dress altered and ready. There is clearly a huge lack of communication between staff as well. We waited nearly 45 minutes to be helped the first appointment, they had to order the dress online anyways (Id recommend just doing that on your own and avoid the frustration), the cost for the alterations which was only the length and a minor adjustment of neckline cost more than the dress, and finally when ready I drove the 1.5 hour round trip for dress pick up which was a scheduled appointment to be told that it was not ready and I had to return the following day. When I arrived the following day it took them 30 minutes to locate the dress. The Macys in the adjoining mall has many, many, more options. Davids bridal also had zero plus size options in store. For plus size go to Trudys in the Pruneyard, they were fabulous. Dont waste your time here. Side note, the actual store front was dirty. I kept feeling the urge to ask for a vacuum.
Amazing place with exceptional staff and collection ! They deal in female only dresses for wedding specifically but party dresses as well.They intend to cover all females dresses ( kids/ elders ) with prime focus on bride to be.Not to forget ..staff is too good...have never such amiable & nice staff in Bay area ;)..my fav was Katrina .
This was my first wedding dress appointment and I must say, it’s not what I expected. I started off by looking at the samples rack and was able to pick out a few that caught my eye. My consultant left mid way in the trial and didn’t come back until we were almost done. Only clipped the back of one dress to show how it would look fitted, but didn’t help me zip any of my dresses. My sister was the one helping me and fixing the train of the dresses so I could get a good look at it. I had to personally take out and bring in dresses into the fitting room. The rack was right next to the door, but still.. imagine doing that in a puffy dress. The consultant did help me in the beginning with some accessories that did add to the look. Overall it was an ‘okay’ experience. Didn’t feel very special or helped though. If you want the 1:1 treatment, Weddings & Dreams is the way to go.
Excellent service, party, excellent dresses variety, the venue very nice classy, comfortable and very well equipped. You may do your own thing in there or have an great assistance, or do a combination of both. I did both. I did bought a very nice below knee, silver dress with lots of sequins in it. Very happy with it. My beloved sweet SunShine bought 3 party dresses 😃❤️💕
As a former employee I was very disappointed. I was on time to my appointment. I was not assigned a stylist. I walked around for 30 minutes with dresses on my arm I finally asked an associate to put the dresses in the back until I was assigned a stylist. She opted to put me in a room and left. I was in the store 1hr. 15 min. It was so bad I was emotional. I booked an appointment for the Costa Mesa, CA store where I worked 20 years ago. I drove 400 miles for that appointment and found everything for myself and bridesmaid. Alterations did a rush and I am very happy. Your staff needs a field trip you were all terrible.
Best experience for last minute alteration needs or a back up dress. The consultant was super helpful with providing me my options and what I could do. I ended up buying the same dress one size bigger as it fit perfectly. Thank you David’s Bridal? Definitely fulfilled all my bridal needs for myself and my mom.
I had the best experience here. The employee who helped me is named Stephanie and she did an amazing job. I made an appt for 12 o clock and I was out of there by 12:30 with the perfect dress to wear as a bridesmaid for my friends wedding. I appreciate her patience with me because I wanted to try on several dresses in different styles and she heard my concerns about my problem areas and she picked the right dresses due to my preference. She was very helpful and im so thankful
Brenda was amazing! So kind and helpful. She made me feel so comfortable and went above and beyond to help me find my dress. I fell in love with the second dress I tried on, but she still helped me try on all the other dresses we picked out just to make sure.She brought me accessories and veils to try on with my dress and the ordering process was so simple.My wedding is coming so soon, so she not only ordered my dress but also immediately scheduled my dress fitting.Thank you Brenda!

If I could give this establishment 0 stars I would. This was by far the worst customer service I have experienced in any capacity or establishment. I had a 1:30 appointment today which was confirmed several days prior via phone to look for a vow renewal dress. I brought my 5 and 7 year old daughters along with my mom who has terminal cancer. I chose David’s Bridal due to their reasonable prices but perhaps they have lower prices to make up for their lack of customer service and poor time management.We arrived approximately 10 minutes early to find the bridal store packed and several people without masks, although a sign clearly states that masks are mandatory to enter the store. I am basing my review off of my 1:30 appointment. We were greeted at the entrance, were told a consultant would be with us shorty, and we were free to browse the dresses but to not remove any dresses from the racks. We observed many people taking dresses off the racks, not consultants, and carrying them around. Fine, I am a rule follower no biggie to me. About 20 minutes after my appointment time a consultant greets us and proceeds to tell me it will be additional time because she needs to clear the dresses from the previous bridal session and that she would also be helping me with another bride alongside me. She takes note of a few dresses I am interested in and puts them in the dressing room. The dressing room did not have any seating nor a mirror. I explained to her prior to grabbing any dresses my mom has terminal cancer and she tells me she will get some chairs for my daughters and my mom into the room, never happened. I tried on the 3 dresses she put in the dressing room, not once being clipped or checked on. I had to leave the room to find a mirror holding the dress myself to see how the dress looked. Finally, after waiting additional time, I got dressed and left the room. In the process of us leaving I told the consultant that this was the worst service I have ever received and by now it is 45 minutes into my 1:30 appointment. She barely acknowledges what I said and walks past us.If you want to feel special and have a consultant that is dedicated to finding your dream dress skip this place. It is a total joke and it’s clear that costumer service is not a top priority, as they showed a blatant disregard for my time. If David’s Bridal cannot accommodate the brides that come in don’t allow so many appointments to be scheduled at one time. My girls had picked out a few dresses for me to try on and I now have very disappointed little girls. David’s Bridal has lost my service entirely and I have several friends who will be looking for dresses shortly for their weddings. I will be sure to help them stay clear of this mockery of an establishment.
One of the managers, Kim, swept in and completely made my daughter’s experience a success! She was so very patient, asked the right questions, and helped my daughter see all of the possibilities. She was upbeat and positive and really cared that my daughter find the dress that made her feel comfortable and herself! I so appreciated her patience, experience, and attitude.
I’ve never felt more beautiful in my entire life. And it was just trying on dresses. The selections were gorgeous and the customer service was excellent. I never felt pressured by the staff to pick something immediately. Regardless, I found my wedding dress within the first visit. I felt if I went anywhere else, I was going to gravitate back to those dresses upon my first visit. Thank you David’s Bridal on helping me with my wedding journey.

We had the most enjoyable experience at Davids Bridal. Our host was amazing. She made the bride-to-be feel at ease with her decisions and offered alternatives when possible. Marilyn of the San Jose location made the whole experience 10000000x better. She listened to us and brought us dresses we liked. Honestly gave me so many good dresses today than any of the 4 shops I went to combined. I will be recommending all my friends/ future brides to Marilyn. I said yes to dress today! Even though it was extremely busy (my appointment was on a Saturday) I never felt rushed. Marilyn was extremely patient, I am very indecisive and took some time, but made a decision and bought the dress! To find out later, she is actually the store manager! No wonder she was so great! Great customer service and made me feel 1000% times better about getting the dress.Setting up my appointment for alterations soon!Will update when alterations are made and my experience through that!
We were greeted by Antoinette. Our appointment was at noon and we were completed with wedding dress, veil and 3 bridesmaids dresses by 1:49pm!She made it effortless to find and order all our dresses. She informed us of you discounts and incentives programs ! She is amazing!!!
I was helped by Katrina and Sonia and they were amazing! I came in with a dress already in mind but Katrina kept looking for dresses that I may like and she thought out of the box and I fell completely in love with one of the dress she picked out for me. She felt that my dress should be fun and flirty to match my age and personality and she definitely hit it out of the park. Sonia also helped out with the accessories for my dress and it was like it was made for my dress. They are all so friendly and know exactly what they are doing! Hello Ladies....I have to say my experience at David’s Bridal was excellent! I went anyway knowing some recent reviews were not very favorable. I believe you get what you give and I walked in there with love and excitement and I received this back from my bridal consultants Antoinette and Ayonna ten fold! They were spot on with their “picks” for me and guided me to some new finds that I loved! My wedding will be a somewhat casual bohemian backyard affaire. Second wedding for both my fiancée and I. Intimate and special. I may have found my dress on the first try!I had a great experience!
Tldr: Terrible consultant ; Horrible customer service ; Messy storeI visited Davids Bridal early the month of May to try on wedding dresses for my wedding late December. The consultant assigned to me was Chelsea. She was also working with 2 other brides at the same time and didnt have the time or interest in helping me out. Most of the time she was just sitting with other consultants and chit chatting without tending to the brides. When I finally found the dress, Chelsea told me I would get a 10% discount if I paid for it the same day and that they would work with me to get a rush order on the dress. Before I committed to the dress, I went out for lunch to mull over it and then went back the same day to pay for it. By then they had completely changed their words and said a new dress would only arrive end of November and there were no discounts on the price. The only option would be to take the dress available in store. This dress was so dirty - literally black at the bottom and torn all over. The staff were extremely rude, refused to clean the dress and said the best they could do was to give a 10% off on a torn dirty dress ! I would expect a bridal salon to have much more courteous and helpful staff at least apologetic about the situation! I walked out of the store extremely disappointed and furious with the whole experience. I would never go back in there or ever refer any of my friends to visit this place.
Walked in undecided and worried I wouldn’t be able to find anything I like, HOWEVER I left with not only the dress that I love, but it was in my budget and by the confirmation of God that this was the one, it was on sale 🥰. Let not forget the assistance from their emolyee Melissa! Super nice, very helpful and just based on the small details I provided she was able to bring things to life! It was soo good I made an appointment for my bridesmaids. Got engaged 1 1/2 month ago, getting married in three months and David’s Bridal is the place to go!!!!
First the sales staff was not helpful with our group they had no sizes for us to try on or the styles they had were not even close to what we wanted. Many of the bridesmaid had to purchase the dress without trying it on due to lack of samples and were made to guess on the size of the dress which meant they had to buy bigger sizes to make sure it would fit. The girl who hardly helped said they could alter the dress with plenty of time before the event since we were ordering it in April. Dresses did not come in until May 18th but we were not contacted until May 23 leaving us with less time for alterations and a surcharge for a rush fee when they were the ones that did not contact us in time. Seemed like they intentionally did that to charge more for alterations. When asked they said they needed to speak to a manager but was hung up on before the call was transferred. Very poor customer service. Advice know your size and take your gown elsewhere to alter. Another customers told me there was a alteration guy named Eduardo near by very fast and friendly.

My experience at Davids Bridal was amazing! Mary was so helpful in the process of trying dresses on. She was very sweet and patient. Mary knew which dresses to show me that would look good for my body type and that was also very helpful.For our bridesmaid appointment Karen helped us and she was also very helpful and organized in the way she showed us different dress styles that would come on time for my wedding. Karen also spoke spanish which was very helpful in communication. She was also sweet and patient.I was very happy for the way they both treated me and my bridal party!
Had a wonderful experience at David’s Bridal in Stevens Creek! Melissa asked all the right questions to pick dresses that fit my personality and our ceremony, and we got so much done in just one hour. She also did a fantastic job choosing the right accessories to complete “the look” for each dress. Highly recommend for a first bridal appointment!
I had a great experience at Davids Bridal. My stylist Marina was very friendly and was nice to work with. She had some suggestions that encouraged me to try new styles and always let me form my own opinion without pushing anything on me. She was so accommodating and let me hold my dress until the end of the day while I went to another bridal appointment. For anyone who is looking for a great dress on a budget Id suggest Davids Bridal. They have a bunch of different styles, so it is a good first stop for anyone who hasnt really formed their bridal style yet. They also have all your extras like the garment bag, preservation services, veils, etc.
I went with my daughter to look for a prom dress for next Saturday(! The school had no consideration for how long it takes to find a dress). We made an appointment online first, and Trang put us at ease immediately. After observing and chatting with my daughter a little bit, she picked out a few dresses that didn’t look special first, but once tried on my daughter, each showed off her youth and beauty in her own style. After 45 minutes in the store, we went home with two great dresses that totaled only $170. We couldn’t be more pleased!
Mary was super friendly, so helpful and made the process very easy! She helped me find the perfect dress, as well as bridesmaid and flower girl dresses all in one visit. She was very understanding and really worked with what I wanted. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a fun, no stress experience!
Not customer-centric.My grand daughter and wife both had the same experience. On the first visit, (with the bride there) everything was smiles and good vibe, but upon return visit, it was hard to get any help. Both are plus-size and my granddaughter is handicapped, so they might need a bit of extra guidance to find an appropriate gown. In both cases the sales folks seemed put out to help these women prepare for a special day. I didnt ask, both this feel like commissioned sales.Look, Ive been heavy my whole life, and its extra work to find clothes that fit, but Im a dude, so basically I dont give a rip.But women have different sensibilities. They really care about how they are made to feel in a clothing store.If this store wants more business, they need to take care of all of their customers, not just the slender, pretty ones.
Horrible service!! Drove an hour to ordered my bridesmaid dresses and shoes and rest of my bridal items that I needed for my wedding. One of my bridesmaid never received her shoes and I never received my bridal robe. I talked to their costumer service and their store rep several times and all Ive got is that the order never went through. Then why the hell was I charged for both items??? So frustrating that this company is not even owning up to their mistakes and refunding me for the items that I clearly never received. I would never recommend this place to anyone!! Such a shame to put brides through this horrible service when their job is to make this process smoother and make this big day more memorable.
My sister is the mother-of-the groom and a “curvy” girl so not just anything fits. We purchased a dress for her here and it was incorrectly hemmed crooked by another seamstress (NOT from the store.)Came back stressing out (2) days before she was leaving for the wedding. Patty (one is the managers) was amazing!!! She also helped us with getting expedited hemming so my sister had the outfit in time to leave. Thank you for everything!!!!!
Ive been to Davids Bridal twice, both times with an appointment. The first time went reasonably well, and I tried on 5 potential dresses (I am looking for something for my sons wedding that is not too formal, and in a small size.) My consultant was there on time and very helpful. The second time I went my consultant (a different person) was double booked. This might have been because I made a last minute appointment. I was better prepared, in that I had a list of dresses that I made after looking on line, and only included those dresses listed as available in a store. At first my consultant couldnt find most of them and told me they were on line only (they are not). She was busy helping a bride at the same time, and eventually she did find most of the dresses, including some she found in Clearance. She listened to what I liked and didnt and brought some other dresses that she thought I might like. Since I had come alone I would have liked a bit more help with things like zippers, but I do understand that she was double booked.The things that I didnt like about Davids was the dressing room, and the return policy. There are no seats or mirrors in the dressing room. There are some hooks but they were full of dresses, so there was really no place to put my clothes other than the floor. I asked my consultant if this was the result of COVID or had it been this way before the pandemic, and its been this way since before the pandemic. It makes it very difficult if you bring someone to help you, and also if you need or want to sit down to put on shoes, pull a dress up, etc. The dressing rooms were pretty shabby for a place thats selling really nice clothes.The return policy is a bit bizarre. If you order a dress in the store, you have 7 days after you pay for the dress (which is at the time of the order) to return the dress. If the dress doesnt make it to the store within 7 days, it arrives too late for you to return it if it doesnt fit or you dont like it. This makes no sense. However, the consultants are paid on commission, and they dont get a commission if you order online. If you order online, you have 7 days from the day you receive the order to return the dress. So while I feel bad for the consultants, I strongly recommend you order online and give yourself a little breathing room to decide about a dress.It was not the most welcoming experience, and I have not decided yet if I will be buying one of the dresses I saw there. I will definitely be looking at other places before I make a decision.Id like to emphasize that my consultants (there were 2 different consultants, one each visit) were very nice and did their best to be helpful. This rating is in no way a reflection on them.
Don’t usually write reviews but wanted to give a big shout out to Amayrani for helping me out last minute! Bridesmaid dress hasn’t arrived (wedding in two days) due to a ton of back ups with covid so called David’s bridal hoping they had something similar. Amayrani checked their stock, found my size and color, drove in and she had it ready to go for me. Was in and out in ten minutes and the wedding day is saved. Awesome customer service. I really appreciate it!!
Nice dresses but poor costumer service. She didn’t even care about the wedding or who was the bride. She was just there, quiet and waiting for us to say something, instead of asking us about our expectations or the idea. She even charge extra $20 for the short notice (fee that she didn’t mentioned before). Nice please where to find dresses, don’t expect anything else like those shows or videos where the people working there is really interested about the wedding.
I had the greatest experience today with Melissa! She was very patient with my needs and wants. She met my every demand (not that I was bossy haha) she was amazing and was very attentive not only to me but my party as well. I came into the store knowing which dress I wanted to try on, but I wanted to find similar ones to be able to make sure that I would ring the bell at the end. The dress that I came in looking for was indeed my dress and she assured me that I would be able to make the appropriate alterations to my dress. Thank you again Melissa! I appreciate all your dedication and hard work you put in to make me feel special! Over the moon that I rang that bell today and found my dress!
The minute I walked in I felt very uncomfortable. The staff was rude. One of the employees was hanging up dresses where I was standing and instead of saying “excuse me” she just got uncomfortably close. Lady, I’m sorry if I was in your way, but I would have happily moved out of your way if I would have known you just let me know you were trying to get through. Nobody was helpful. Terrible experience overall. Could not wait to leave the store.
I made an appointment for a dress fitting for my upcoming wedding. My wedding plans have obviously changed (COVID) but I still needed a dress. I met my stylist and explained what I was looking for. She pulled many styles and was very attentive. I was not looking for a traditional wedding dress but Davids Bridal still had many options for me to try. Everyone was wearing masks and distanced. I felt incredibly safe and comfortable. While I did not make a purchase I would happily recommend Davids for any bride.My ONLY complaint is the lack of mirrors INSIDE the dressing rooms. Not everyone wants to parade in front of strangers while trying on clothes. :( It was quite uncomfortable for me to have to constantly leave the dressing room to see myself in the mirror.
Absolutely terrible experience with the alterations department. Lost a fabric I gave them for my wedding dress. Did not tell me they lost it until the day I was supposed to pick up my dress. Spent the week before my dress looking for new fabric everywhere.They also had bad communication with me throughout the whole process.Would not recommend this place. Run away.
Excellent customer service and knowledgeable experience from Daniella Nunes! She was extremely helpful and offered excellent suggestions for how to make the bridesmaid dress I was trying on more comfortable. The day I tried on my bridesmaid dress which was a Sunday the store was very busy but Daniella gave personalized and carful detail to every question I asked. She even was able to make me a dress alteration appointment immediately and discussed with me various alteration ideas for the perfect fit of my dress. Because of my experience with Daniella and the extremely organized and safe atmosphere of David’s Bridal on Stevens Creek I have purchased my bridesmaids dress with full confidence this dress will exceeded all my expectations!

Screwed my daughters first birthday with delayed shipping. such a bad experience. they gave to UPS using surepost and ups gave to USPS. end of Story: No dress for my babys first birthday. Guys . Stay away from this company . i contacted their customer center and they wont help. my babys first birthday got damaged because of my bad fate i selected this firm. Stay Away
I have an anniversary party to go to which was the reason for my visit. I didnt have high hopes because I hadnt had any luck at the major department stores. I showed up early for my appt and they let me right in to look around. I was able to shop independently but they were right there to help when I needed it. Everyone was so friendly and one woman never forgot my name even though she probably greeted 15 other people since I walked in and many more prior. I truly enjoyed my experience and the cherry on top of it all was the remarkable price of the dress!
I had a decent experience finding the dress. Fast forward a few months and I find out at my alterations appointment that the consultant ordered my dress 2 sizes too big and the alterations department didnt want to do it initially. They ended up having to do it because we couldnt reorder the dress. So I left my dress with them for a month. Had another alterations appointment on 10/30 at 4. I showed up 35 mins early and my dress wasnt finished yet. So I had to wait. Then I try my dress on it fits like a glove. I sign it out and before I could get out the door they told me they needed to steam it and press the buttons and it would take an additional 30 mins. We were there till after 5. The alterations department is extremely slow. On top of all that I opened up my veil that I got 6 months ago and it has pearls missing and small holes in it. I now understand why it was on clearance. Im extremely disappointed with Davids bridal.
I came in today to find a dress to wear to one of my closest friends wedding in one week. I’ve had three other friends that all purchased their wedding dresses here, just this year, so I knew the customer service was excellent! I’ve been so busy doing so many things like many of us that I did not have time to go dress shopping. I came in this afternoon, made an appointment. Amanda was my consultant! She selected several dresses for me. After trying on several dresses, she helped me to find the perfect dress!!! Thank you Amanda and the David’s Bridal staff!!

I had a great experience at Davids Bridal!They received my information from a Bridal Show, I was so overwhelmed in that moment that I didnt set up an appointment at that time, so they set one up for me. They sent emails and called, I never actually responded but I showed up for it so Im glad they kept my appointment.I was apprehensive about coming to Davids Bridal because its a chain shop and the prices are actually reasonable so I wasnt sure that it would have quality options but I wanted to come to check out the shorter dress options that are available on the website.We were helped by Chelsea G, who was very attentive and helpful the whole time. She placed that dresses that we picked out by the dressing room, she grabbed other styles of dresses when I said I was interested in shorter styles, she clipped the dresses to give us a better idea of how theyd look in my size. She did a great job. I would highly recommend working with Chelsea G.I found my dress! Its perfect!After finding my dress I got to ring a bell and make a wish, which was a fun extra thing to do. She took lots of pictures of me and my Matron of Honor celebrating.I have completely changed my mind about Davids Bridal and am even considering using it for my bridal partys dresses.
Omg never thought we would find the dress but we did !!! Our experience was amazing, our sales representative was on the point , she directed us to all the right dresses. We are pretty picky so we thought we would at the very least get an idea of what we wanted never expecting to come home with the dress 💗. Do not hesitate to shop at David’s they are experienced and professional.
Davids bridals employees in the department of helping look for a dress and alterations department are great! they were very flexible when it came to scheduling to alter my dress and pick up especially with all the covid-19 restrictions. I am really appreciative to them for all their kindness and help in making my dress great for my wedding day!

Tammy was awesome! She wasnt pushy at all, but asked a lot of questions to get a sense of what I liked or didnt like, and then brought me more and more dresses that got closer and closer until I found the perfect dress. I was hesitant to come to a big box store like Davids Bridal but I walked away with my perfect dress and at a fantastic price too.
My stylist was Ariel, and she was not helpful at all. She was not there when I needed help with fitting the larger dresses to my size, I came prepared with a few dresses I saw online and NONE were available. She did not listen to the details I wanted. I was already stressed about having such a short amount of time, but she made it worse. It took 30 minutes for them to tell me what the price was for one dress. Overall, very bad experience. The one star is for the manager that stepped in last minute who should be a stylist because she is great. I bought a dress from there because my family bought it. If it wouldve been up to me, I would not have bought the dress, even though I loved it. I would reccomend getting another stylist, and if you have had bad experiences with Davids Bridal like me, I would reccomend Trudys at The Pruneyard. They are so welcoming and helpful!
What a positive experience! Antoinette was helpful, positive and all too kind. She knew just what to pair with each look and helped make the perfect choice. I had one prior dress experience and all the samples were basically a size 4 which I haven’t seen maybe ever. Great to try on things that fit. Great prices too!
Once we met with our stylist Mary our appointment was a delight. Mary was patient, attentive, and enthusiastic. She listened well and accommodated our requests with speed and joy. She was well informed and seemed to really take pleasure in her work and our company. She is a credit to David’s Bridal.
Danielle in the San Jose, CA location is amazing! She knew exactly what looked good on me! Danielle helped me find my dream dress. Patricia, the Manager of the San Jose office, was extremely helpful and advised us on how best to transfer my order to where I live in Reno. Patricia also helped me sign-up for Diamond rewards. I felt confident that the dress I selected could be altered to to fit my body type. Thank you Patricia and Danielle for making my future wedding magical with the perfect dress!
The dresses were too big the clips does not help you figure out what size you are and neither did the person helping me Chelsea. I asked for a dress in my size instead of a big dress that is clipped. All they want to do is give you a too big or too small dress to get more money for the alterations. I will go somewhere else for a better experience other places offer champagne to the bride and her guest.
Had such a wonderful experience at Davids Bridal in San Jose. I worked with Simran who was incredible and helped me pick a dress and veil that I absolutely love. She has incredible taste, and despite only meeting me for 30min or so, was able to help me find a bridal outfit that perfectly matched my personality and style. I had been to several boutique bridal stores and even other Davids Bridal stores prior to coming here and was feeling completely overwhelmed. Thank you Simran! (Also, FYI- this is the nicest Davids Bridal in the Bay area - its super clean, has huge changing spaces, and is well spaced out)
I needed a dress last minute and was hoping for the best by making an appointment here. I met Amy who was amazing and up for the challenge. She was able to help me find what I needed. I couldn’t believe we found a dress right then and there for me!! Really appreciated Amy’s help! Will definitely come again
If I can give this a zero start I would. I went there I was honest to the girl I didn’t wanted to waist her time and my time. I wanted something simple I gave her my budget. For the type of wedding I am having only 4 guest. So the girl left me alone didn’t help me I had to come out and fix my last two dresses while she was chinchating with her coworkers. Terrible customer service!!
Trang was very helpful for our large party of 6. Everyone had different sizes and styles, but she was able to help us all out, including the mothers, to look for a dress that suited them for a wedding. We would have preferred to see more petite sizes, but our stylist helped us beyond the 1 hour appointment. It appeared like staff were doing their best to keep everything clean and I saw staff wiping down surfaces and steaming the worn dresses.
I came here for alterations and I absolutely loved John! He made sure my white blazer was perfectly measured to show off my petite figure and listened to what I wanted. Alterations were a bit more expensive than I thought ($250), but I will be able to wear the blazer even after my wedding! Thanks David’s for such a great in-store experience! :)
I came in to an appointment with my grandmother and mother to get our feet wet with the whole dressing shopping experience. Tammy was not only welcoming and informative but quickly picked up on what my tastes and potential likes were. I cannot share enough how amazing Tammy was this entire trip and how grateful we are to have met with her. She picked three or four dresses from my described likes and visions. She shared in detail what alterations could be made and quickly brought additional amazing dresses and accessories based on my changing and progressed desires. On our first trip I think we found the dress! We will be scheduling a follow up appointment to finalize the dress details and bring the bridesmaids and we are definitely requesting to meet with Tammy! Thank you Tammy!!
I had such an enjoyable experience working with Tammy (Winchester Shopping Center, San Jose). She was upbeat and attentive--she made very usefully suggestions when I was trying to hone in on my personal style, but she also gave me the flexibility to choose my own dresses for try-on. Five out of the six dresses that we chose together were dresses that I could easily see myself wearing on my wedding day, but my final dress choice ultimately felt like my dream dress! I couldnt recommend Tammy and the other sales associates at this location enough!
Thanks to MELISSA from San Jose’s David and Bridal she made my experience here amazing, and helped me find THE DRESS!!! She was super kind, took in consideration my price range and style of dress that I was looking for, and was able to find me my dress in less than an hour! She even matched my dress with a diamond belt, crown, and veil to put it all together❤️!!! Absolutely satisfied with her great service and and help! Very kind and professional people work at this location. I was given Andreana to help me find my mother of the bride gown. She asked me questions to get an idea of what kind of dress I wanted and she made great recommendations. I found my perfect dress and I was very happy with the way I was helped during such a time when people have to be careful and mindful of distance and personal space. We all had masks on and sanitized before entering. The dresses were immediately sprayed down with some kind of steaming machine to sanitize them. I felt safe. Job week done.
David’s Bridal is great! Not only did I find the dress after almost settling due to being plus sized and not having a crazy budget but I got my dream dress at an affordable price but the best part was how beautiful I felt during my fitting my dress is now fit for a Queen 👑 can’t wait to pick it up!
This was the first store to hunt for my bridal dress, I was greeted warmly as I walked in. I had no appointment so I checked in and got on the list for my personal wedding designer.Melissa greeted me and asked some great questions to better understand my needs. My wedding was one month away, Melissa assured me that they had what I wanted and could get it back to me in time. She was very carrying and patient, her expertise was astounding as she brought in 5 dress to my tastes. With in an hour I found my wedding dress.I did make it customized for my body and used their services department John helped me and did my measuring he was so friendly and at easy that I was even laughing in my dress. He was very professional in assisting me with cup size and zip ups.When I finally came back for last fitting Fanny help me she was a doll, she took the time to make my dress fit perfect she even saw things I was not aware of. The wedding dress looks absolutely amazing! Top quality work!To the David’s Bridal off Steven creek you guys rock, keep up the great culture and teamwork, it shows. The bridal need that kind of love at a stressful time. Thank you thank you!!

2021-09-20Please do not trust Davids Bridal with your business. I had a terrible experience here due to their deceptive return policy, and the most unhelpful in-store salespeople.I am a bridesmaid in my friends wedding, and she selected a dress from Davids. Unfortunately when I was ready to purchase, I was told by the saleswoman the dress was discontinued, and they did not have the dress in my size (14) in-store or online. But she said it wasnt a problem, and she found a floor-sample dress (at full price) from another store somewhere else in the country. She was not able to get me a 14, but ordered a size up and said it could be altered. When I purchased, the return policy was never discussed. I read the receipt and assumed that the 7-day return policy would apply once I got the dress. I was wrong.As I waited for my dress to come in, other bridesmaids in my party began to get their floor-sample dresses. Though they were sold to us at full price, they arrived heavily worn and soiled. I became nervous mine would arrive in a similar condition, and so I ordered a 12 through the website, one size down, so I would have a backup.Eighteen days after ordering the 16 in-store, I received it in the mail. It was damaged, with the lace pattern broken and fraying at 4 places on the neckline. Additionally, the size was so large (presumably stretched out from frequently being tried on as a sample) it was too big to properly alter. I decided to return it and keep the 12.I spoke to the return department online, but they told me I would have to go in to the store to make the return.Four days after receiving the dress, I drove an hour back to the store to return it. A saleswoman Fenni, as well as the manger, Leona told me that I could not return it for a refund. Leona argued that the dress was not damaged, and the broken lace was just a normal part of the dress construction. She told me that if I wanted a refund, I had to bring it in within the 7 days of purchasing. I explained that it is impossible to return a dress I had not yet received. They admitted it was a bad policy, but that there was nothing to be done, and pointed to the receipt. It read:Return in-store up to 7 days after purchase for refund to original form of payment. Exchange US store purchases at US locations up to 60 days after receiving.I asked whether I might initiate a return on the size 12, and return the 16, but they said that that could not be done.Reluctantly, I accepted store credit. However, I now have a credit card bill for $169 that I cannot pay with a store credit. I have no need of anything more from Davids Bridal, and so, I have no need of the credit.I feel deceived, and victimized by bad business practice. I advise anyone in need of a special occasion dress to go anywhere but Davids.

Angela listened to my concerns, didn’t judge and was just super helpful guiding me through this process.She brought the alternations team over to discuss what I wanted and set my mind at ease. She made my second dress purchase a confident one!I am a stickler for customer service having been in the service industry myself and Angela was top notch! 2022-04-16I had a good experience at this Davids Bridal. It wasn’t my first choice in where I wanted to get my dress but my consultant Fay was a huge help in making this process memorable. She was patient and accommodating. The visiting manger, Michael was also wonderful! He stepped in and only added more positivity to the appointment. I ended up choosing MY dress!

2022-05-02A big shout out to Davids Bridal San Jose! I had such a good experience here - from the gals at the front of the store who greeted me to my AMAZING stylist Daniella. She was a total rock star; she was helping me and another gal next to me and we had a great time. I went on a Saturday mid-morning which is such a busy time for the store, but once my appointment got started, I felt really taken care of.Daniella pulled a big variety of lengths and styles, and we honed in on what worked. I actually bought TWO dresses, they both looked so good, Im going to make up a reason to wear the other one - honeymoon dinner maybe, lol? The dresses are SO reasonably priced. And its just all so unfussy. I think the more go with the flow you can be with a busy store like this, the more fun youre going to have - and the more likely you are to find a great dress at a really reasonable price.I highly recommend the San Jose location, Daniella the stylist, and Rochelle the manager! They did a fantastic job!

2022-02-07We had a date at David’s bridal in San Jose/Santa Clara. My daughter the baby of our family is getting married my other daughter her daughter brides stepdaughter to be and myself all went shopping not expecting to find a dress at all it was our first shopping trip and the wedding is five months away. We were excited but did not have high expectations. Angela at David’s bridal was an angel a godsend. She was completely and totally at our service. She brought dress after dress not a Hufflepuff not a single complaint she just brought dress after dress that she felt were appropriate or that was something we would like. And my bride has a very different taste so it was not an easy task but Angela was on the bar and Angela knew what different look like in a wedding dress we had the time of our lives we all cried our heads off when she said “YES!! to the dress !” At David’s bridal. We cannot thank you enough Angela for that wonderful and beautiful experience that we had helping pick out my baby girls wedding dress. For all your help I know it will be a beautiful and wonderful day and my little princess will look like a queen actually she looks more like a fairy and I am so excited for this very special day and everything you did for us to make it a dream come true thank you for all your beautiful help Angela you were an absolute joy to have on our team keep up the excellent work you are a dream at your j!!b.

2022-05-25After waiting for last moment to finally head out and try on some wedding dresses I walked into David’s Bridal without an appointment yet I was able to try on a dress with the help of Nicole who was very friendly helpful which I am very thankful. Nicole made my dream come true in every type of way almost making it seem like she was family! I recommend to anyone planning getting married to try out David’s Bridal! Also with very good quality & affordable prices!

2022-07-10We had the most amazing day at Davids bridal in San Jose. The lady that helped us was amazing her name was Antoinette. My friend had been very sick and we had to wait till the last minute to be able to get a dress. She spent so much time making sure that we got the dress my friend wanted. . 2022-05-25It was a crazy busy day even with an appointment. Our wedding party walked around and picked most of the dresses for our bride and bridesmaids to try on. Which was fine we handled the situation and found a beautiful dress which we ordered and paid in full that day. The bride had a medical complication and caused the wedding to be canceled on placed on hold. Now ready to proceed with a completely different wedding plan we were hoping that David’s Bridal would be able to exchange a formal gown with a more summer simple gown. Even though the original gown is still on the box it was shipped in tags on etc… they will not work with us to obtain a more appropriate dress for their special day! I was just explained that if it’s past 60 days they can do nothing!! Wow seriously!No one explained that deadline when we purchased the original gown.. Very disappointed in a huge chain stores inability to work with their customers.

2022-06-12We were looking for maid-of-honor and mother-of-the bride dresses. The store was very busy but we found what we were interested in. Everyone was busy helping customers, but a nice young woman stopped to ask us if we needed anything. We told her we wanted to purchase a dress and find the price on another. Her name is Joy Moon and is the operations manager and was extremely kind, friendly and very helpful!! She would be the reason I would go back to her store.

2022-02-25I came into the Steven’s Creek San Jose store without an appointment and was greeted and helped by Erin. She listened and brought me some styles that I never would have tried. One of the dresses looked great, but needed some alteration ideas. She was very helpful and knowledgeable in her suggestions. It was a pleasure working with her!
