**** The WORST place to purchase anything !!!****We bought a couch from this bell hold , and with in a couple days the sewing came undone , I called they sent out someone to “fix” the issue !! This lady and her husband show up at my door with a SEWING kit !!! Wth no ! And they respond it’s fixed isn’t it.DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY, you will regret it 100%
Do not trust any of the good reviews. If you look closely, any good reviews left are naming a certain employee. They are affiliated with the business and/or employee personally. I know from experience that Daniels home center sells third rate, poor quality furniture. Moreover, the employees are all extremely rude and very unhelpful. It is apparent that Daniel does not have any kind of employee training on customer service or mannerism. You would be better off going to ikea or any other discount furniture store for better quality AND service.
Worse place to go to after they take your money they do little to nothing to try and actually help you. Ive had to call them multiple times to try and get an issue resolved on an appliance that needs a repair and has a warranty on it. Scarlet, the supervisor of warranty gave me her direct line but never picks up or returns phone calls. Teresa from service repairs never followed up despite having my report on the appliance for 3 days. Steer clear or dont bother with their warranty.
They cannot get their act together When they delivered the furniture I ordered 2 pieces accouchez And one was not delivered And they brought a bed frame it was broken They brought the couch it was missing the left side Back piece They keep coming up with different types of excuses From July 4th From September 15th we still have not received the other piece of couch
Once they have your money they could care less about you. was waiting on a replacement, wasted all day waiting and when i called the next day i was told the dr left notes stating they called twice when they never did. they were rude and not willing to help. they act like they are giving you something for free when its been paid. anytime i asked for a manager they put me on hold or disconnected the line.
This is beyond the worst experience we ever had to deal with any furniture store. My fiancé and I went to purchase three items, sectional sofa, dining table set and bed set last Sunday, and we were promised that two of the items will be delivered by the end of Friday. Thursday came, we got a phone call informing us one of items was not in stock and we have to wait until the end of the month, and the other two items are display products. We paid cash for the new furnitures, not the display furnitures! Therefore, we went back to the store on Thursday night to cancel the order since we needed the sofa to be delivered before Sunday. We met Juan, the manager, and he was nice and tried his best to make it up to us by switching to a different sofa and giving us back the delivery fee with the promise that everything will be delivered by Saturday night. We decided to give them another chance since we dont have time to shop around. Saturday came, we waited until 9pm yet nothing was delivered, then we got a phone call around 9:30pm saying that there was a delayed and everything will come tomorrow morning. They called again this afternoon (Sunday 4/18/21) telling us that they have to reschedule again. We had enough of everything and went back to the store for the 4th time to get our money. They told us they could not return our money back, and we have to wait 48 hours for them to request a check so we can come back to pick it up. This is so unprofessional and F*$& up! We paid cash and now we cant even get our money back and have to wait for a check that we have to come back to pick up? Words cannot describe how frustrated we are with them. They broke the contract and wasted our time! I sincerely advise everyone to not shop here so you wont waste your time nor go through the same thing as us.
The place is nice on the inside, the sales rep was decent enough, but when/if it comes time that your furniture malfunctions and you need to place a warranty claim, forget it, its game over. They were 100% fine back in September 2020 to let me in their store, take my money for the furniture and then to deliver my couch into my house. All peachy there. Less than two months later and two springs detach themselves from the frame of the couch in the center. I call them to make a claim, no issue there. Gave it five days after as I hadnt heard back from filing the claim and so I called them back. The rep told me they have my claim and its on their list. When asking for an ETA on when someone would come fix my couch and they said they have absolutely no idea, because due to the pandemic this service is suspended with no idea when it will resume. Is this seriously the new catch all for everything? Besides that, the pandemic was happening in September when I went into their store and when the delivery folks brought my couch into my house. How this changes someone coming back into my house to fix the defected furniture is beyond me. Anyway, due to the pandemic, Ill end this review here.
I dont write reviews much but this is by far the WORST experience Ive had. My fiancee and J went here to buy a set of dining table with 6 chairs, a sofa, and a queen bed set. The sales associate helped us and confirmed they have the items in stock to deliver by Thursday. We paid in full in cash in the amount of almost $2,800. Come to find out, the sofa was backordered and dining table set is out (only the display is available). We came back to talk to the manager, Juan Soto. He apolozied and helped us look for another sofa. We picked another sofa and scheduled to be delivered yesterday, Saturday, 4/17. Saturday came and went, delivery guy called me at 9:22pm to say that they had a tough day and couldnt deliver and will deliver tomorrow, Sunday, 4/18 from 9am to 12pm. Nothing was delivered. I went back to the store to speak with the manager, Juan to get a refund. Apparently, there is a policy that they have to generate a check, and it wont be available until 48 hours, which will be on Tuesday, 4/20/21.Based on my experience that Ive had with this place so far, Im not very hopeful for the check to be ready by Tuesday, 4/20/21. This is the worst experience Ive had. Looking into small claims court in case this place is pulling something shady and not refunding the money.
Loved the new living room set I bought today from Daniels. Sales person Erika was great!!! Total 5 star service. She listened to what I wanted and didnt B.S me at all. In and out. Only reason I did not give them a5 star is I tried calling before showing up and I was on hold 2 different times for a half hour each time. Ridiculous. Thankful for Erika and her stellar service!!!! She gets a5 star.. Phone service gets no star.
Please make sure that your purchase is actually complete. They double sell stuff and whoever gets there first gets their order complete. We bought a 2 piece sofa set and when we went to pick up, only 1 couch was available. Had to go back and settle with the display couch to complete our order. Absolute disaster of a service. Wasted time for less than expected. Its too bad but I guess thats why their price was where it was compared to other furniture stores. We shopped around.
Where to start? This store sells cheap furniture, and not in the sense of economical; It sales cheap quality furniture, but that is not the major problem. My complaint has to do with the warranty they also offer. They promised that the such warranty would cover parts and labor. They never mentioned that they outsource the service, and it is a pain trying to get anything done though a third party. Please stay away from this place. They mostly target the Hispanic community and the store surely takes advantage. Por favor , no compren nada aqui! Ahorrese muchos dolores de caveza. Y jamas compren las garantias que ofrecen.
Went into Daniel’s looking for a new bed set. Yes the store has pretty items but they are way overpriced! Was attended by Sales Representative Rigo Rodriguez. He was well infromed but rushed us through the whole procedure! It was as if he had other places to go. When we returned for the second payment he told us he couldn’t get the delivery out till Monday when he had already promised that delivery would’ve been on Sunday! I had asked for the day off from work on Sunday!! He was rude and got defensive when we shared our disappointment with the customer service and overall experience with the company! Avoid him if possible
DO NOT COME HERE!!!We filed a claim for the broken reclining chair and we got the authorization to get a replacement of the same value since they dont have the same chair anymore. They waited until the last minute after we paid the price difference of the replacement chair we wanted to tell us that we have to drop off the broken chair to their warehouse to get the replacement. Its too much of a hassle. I would want the same chair so it will matched the others, I was already ok with diff chair then I have to deal with this?
Had a really great sales person each time we were in there. Manager is sub par...Ill tell you why. Daughter lost a dollar in the vending machine. The manager said not my problem. You know if I was that manager I think I could pull a dollar out of my pocket for a little girl. Its not like Im not spending 10 dollars in the store....
I bought two sofas from here along with tables. I spend over 2K. When we picked up the sofa from ware house and took it out of the box, the bottom of one of the sofa was cracked. They also never gave us the side tables and when we called they said they will call us back and never did. I am currently at the store to talk to one of the sales person and none has helped me, it has been over 30 min. I do not recommend this furniture store because their material is low quality, the Manuel was in another language, their customer service is terrible and they will waste your time. I always buy my furniture from IKEA and I will never return here again.
They sell recliners that break a little after a year they no longer recline. The arms are cheap and poorly made and have cracked and sunk in, the cushions have gone flat. Avoid this company. The guardian insurance they sell is also junk my claim got denied twice $2k down the drain.
Bought a living room sectional and a dining table, for descent price but definately not good quality.The sectional fabric peeled off in less than than 2 yrs from purchase. The dining table after a few years as well started to get wobbly all the screws were in need of care all the time it just was not good quiality furniture.This was my firsts time buying from Daniels Furniture and I will most definately never buy from there again not even if I got store credit.I hope this helps you look for a good quality furniture store. Do some research about the quality of the furniture store is my advice before the purchase.
The good reviews are employees. READ THE BAD REVIEWS EVERYONE. Horrible place to buy furniture from. Their furniture is Ashley Furniture so go there and they will price match Daniels. We bought furniture and the process was horrible and delivery even worse. Our refrigerator light cover was missing and they didnt have an answer, our sofa was not put together correctly and the damaged our walls. Never again.
I had a great experience here. I went for their Black Friday Specials. My sales lady was prompt. I bought a sturdy, modern table with four stools for $150. I was able to pick it up quickly at their storage facility around the corner since the store is a showroom. I assembled the whole thing myself in less than an hour.
Worst place to shop ever. First they broke the bed before it was delivered and said it would come a week later. I received no call and called them to find out now it is on back order and would be delivered today the 19th and again received no phone call and called today to find out its going to be another week. I called the manager he said he would look into it and call me back and that was at 11am it is now almost 2pm and I havent received a call back just like he did the on the date that they said it would be delivered. They are very unprofessional and havent even offered any type of compensation for the inconvenience due to them braking my furniture before it was ever delivered. Will never shop at this store again.
Their hours are off lol their site says they close Sunday at 7:30 so I called at 6 to pay a bill. No one answered. They open at 11, I been calling and calling and every time it sends me to voicemail. No one ever picks up the phone this is incredibly frustrating and unprofessional, how am I supposed to pay my bill if I cant even get in contact with someone??? No one is picking up the phone, my credit score can go down, this is ridiculous Ive called five times and every time Im sent to voicemail. I just want to pay my bill...
STAY AWAY, I bought a Huge sectional couch in June, it started breaking by July, Made a claim nothing happened called in August they said the warranty part was closed due to Covid, OK Sept comes around i call again they schedule a appointment for Nov ok. They come take one piece that broken badly, the other pieces that the wood grinds and spring falling out we were told thats how its made... Excuse me? I call corporate to file complaint, and i am told that my kids broke my couch... i said no we never said that and she said thats what the employee put down, and i proceed to say WE never said that, she says they have put that down, i said they have no right to falsify documents and she said they didnt and that i can send pictures and they will see in 3-4 weeks if they need to fix it. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. I WISH I HADNT. I will be reporting them further for such awful customer service as well as Refusing to fix a item that has Manufacture warranty plus purchased extended 5 year warranty.
2.8.2021: When calling customer service to simply check the status of a furniture order, the representatives voice emphatically sounded hostile during the minute-long call.Following the information requested, I translate to my mom and then I say Thats it to the representative and before I could even thank her for the time, she grunts, No, thats it. Is this the type of employee you all want for that position. To the managerial staff, I suggest she should take up another line of work since she clearly isnt fitted to do the part, professionally and adult-ly.
Do yourself a favor and go to Macys. This store sells semi quality furniture. My bed frame broke after a few months and when i called to schedule a warranty service, the techs came at the wrong time and Daniels will not resend the techs back. I had to take time off from work to work with the techs and they came at the wrong time. Macys sells great quality furniture and will bend over to help me if my furniture broke or was disappointed.
Save your money and do NOT buy from here. horrible customer service an misinformation. We ordered a sectional and ottoman. First we were told a delivery date that never came and in turn we were the ones that had to contact them. Instead of a rep helping us we got passed around to 4 different people who ended up telling us our rep in not available. Our rep calls us back next day and tell us the sectional we ordered was put as the display. Okaaaay, But he then said that they had the same sectional with the chaise on a different side. We were ok with that. We go to pick it up then they tell us our ottoman is not there and wont be there until August! I understand mistakes happen but seriously no apologies, no common courtesy of informing us, we had the to be the ones searching for answers. Please buy somewhere else.
I would give 0 stars if that was possible but this place is HORRIBLE! I made my purchase $900 on 6/24/2020 it’s been an entire MONTH no updates nothing!! I was told supposedly in 2 weeks from the purchase date I could pick up my order never received a call. Every single time I call and eventually get transferred to the store they never answer their phone! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and if I don’t hear anything by the end of the month I will sue and make sure I get my $900 back waste of time and money. Don’t shop here ever! Lesson learned
Purchased a desk that I required urgently and was told that even though their warehouse was closing soon they would make a call and have someone wait upto 10 minutes for me, i paid and left immediately to their warehouse just down the street and arrived within 3 minuets just at the moment they closed and was told they had received no call and the desk would not be available until they open again on monday. Manuel and his manager lied to me and have now cost me valuable time and have left me feeling cheated out of $300
The prices are very competitive and The over the phone service is very professional. I placed an order on Thursday & it was ready for pick up by Tuesday. Pretty fast in my opinion. They helped me load it in to my truck and when I got home I was very pleased with the quality of the mirror.The reason for 4 stars is because no one called me when it was ready for pick up, I had to call in. & its not made clear where will call is in their warehouse.
I recently bought a futon from here because they had one of the cheapest prices. I bought it online so I didnt have to deal with the sales people. I did have some trouble with them calling because they called at 7:55 PM and told me to call them back about my order. Well they close at 8:00 PM so by the time I got to the voice mail they were obviously closed. Called the next day and the receptionist was useless and I had to tell her how to connect me (wth????) since they gave me the ext #. The guy told me the credit card didnt go through which was BS because I saw it charge me when I logged in to my account.He was speaking to me in a slow condescending voice which I did not approve of.Later that week I picked up my futon from the warehouse ( I was NOT going to pay $80 for them to drive 1.5 miles to deliver it). Surprisingly, it went smoothly and when I unpacked it, it was 99% assembled anyway so that was nice.Overall, it was an okay experience. I only went there for the price and the futon is relatively nice quality. Dont go there for the customer service though, you will be disappointed.
I returned to to this place because I already had credit with them. My 1st experience with them was ok, spoke to the 1st seals rep and he was ok but I had to leave without getting anything and I returned looking for him but I didnt find him so another person helped and I felt pressured into getting something and when I didnt get anything she got upset and started ignoring us and saying snobby comments in Spanish thinking we didnt understand her... I returned looking for the 1st person I spoke with and again he was not around, got serviced by some one else, I did end up getting my living room set, but the delivery charge is outrageous! And to top it off they didnt deliver on the time and date they were originally scheduled for (this is my 1st purchase).I came back as stated before because I already had credit with them and to give them a second chance, but again they didnt deliver on the date and time they were supposed to! And to top it off when we first walked in since we were looking like bums the service we got was as if we were some poor Mexican family but after he checked my credit limit he showed us a wider variety of furniture!Never again will I be returning to this furniture store!!!
BUYERS BEWARE! You will get ripped off! Unfortunately Ive made plenty of purchases from this store and everything Ive ever purchased here fell apart within months! But the last straw for me was an iMac I bought there. I purchased this as a NEW item and months later when I called apple support for an unrelated matter they told me my computer had a previous owner! Needless to say I was incredibly upset seeing as how I overpaid for that computer. Also, they are very good about engaging you in deep conversation while they are writing up your contract and simply glossing over hidden fees. Ive had to go back a few different times to get refunds on fees I was never explicitly told were there, which is not an easy feat since they give you the run around when youre not trying to make a purchase.The customer service is on point when youre in there trying to buy something. However if youve already made a purchase these people tend to be extremely rude and very unhelpful.I would give a shout out to the one person I knew was genuinely helpful unfortunately person is no longer there.
Sales rep only addressed my husband (didn’t acknowledge me) when entering the store then followed us the e-n-t-i-r-e route through the store. We even back tracked once or twice looking at specific pieces. It was unnerving to turn around and see someone staring at you. This is the second time this has happened. They have a pretty selection of furniture but I don’t want to go back to be stalked again.
Bought a stove/range on credit, required $150.00 deposit, process somewhat involved, great selection of appliances and furniture. Sales person was on our heels from the moment we entered the store. However she was friendly and answered all our questions professionally and with alot of product knowledge. Lots of handicapped parking, easy to navigate wheelchair in store. Only complaint is sales person forgot to return my id and i didnt realize it til i got home so i had to turn around and drive 14 miles back to store and didnt even get an apology.
So far the experience here is been really amazing, the quality of the furniture is variable depending on what would you like to buy . To those people with bad experiences please take 2 minutes to read all the notes and description on the tags of the items before you buy it it explains what you buy same for the appliances dont buy something because it looks nice but instead read and ask question over question . And if you complain about prices is a commission store they need to make profit for the item also make your payments on time that is why most of the people complain about interest. One more thing they are sells people a simple no thank you or no Im not interested works lol learn to speak up then come here to review your experience:)
They have the best selection of living room furniture, they also have a lot of bedroom sets and accessories accessories accessories. Parking is good lots of handicapped. And isles in store are wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair. Staff friendly and great prices. They also carry appliances.
Ive had enough of Daniels Home Center on Euclid and Broadway!!! They have zero communication between themselves or the warehouse. The sales representative name CHRISTY, helped us on sunday the 24th 2019 sold us a living room set sku#: LM ASH 9120 and said it was available for pick up on Monday, the 25th, 2019. On Monday afternoon, my husband and I went to the warehouse to pick up the sofa set we ordered. Once we got there a different worker told us that they didnt have that couch available and that they had informed all workers from Daniels that they were out of stock, and that they would get a new shipment today or Wednesday the 27th 2019. So this morning I called CHRISTY, asked if the new shipment came in today she said, that it wont arrive untill December 11, 2019. At this point Im outraged and frustrated because I dont have my sofa and Im driving back and forth wasting my time. At this point all I want is my money back but instead they tried to sell me a different sofa and said it had to be approved by the manager in ordered to get my money back. RIDICULOUS!They tell people they have things in stock just to make or meet their quota sells perhaps. They lie to their customers and waste their time telling them that they have an item but they dont. There were other people for the same reason and they went on monday to buy the same item! I was a frequent customer and bought items in the past. One of the first items i ever bought they never offered me a protection plan. Your employees need to WORK ON PROVIDING CUSTOMERS THE CORRECT INFORMATION and know how to COMMUNICATE!! .. Im never COMING BACK!! NEVER COME HERE!! Stay away and buy somewhere else.
Went in to Daniels on 8.26.17 recommended by a friend. Soon I walk in I was help by Corina. I told her what I was looking for a bed . She offered to show me several. I informed her what I wanted and my budget. I left very happy with my purchase. I got what I wanted and not just a bed but all the bedroom set.I did not felt pressure at all by her. I like the store very clean and a lot of of furniture to chose from. I am mentioning the sales person Corina because she did a great job and she was honest and read the contract and explain everything she make me feal by business was apreciated. Thank you Claudia and thanks Daniels furniture for having good employees at the company. I suggest you ask for her.great help.
I bought a cool touch mattress from them at $1200.The mattress in the display room was very cool. But the mattress they gave me WAS NOT THE SAME MATTRESS! IT ONLY LOOKED THE SAME.The mattress they gave me was very hot, I flip throughout the night sweating.My back also hurts from my new cool mattress.I repeat, they WILL sell you something different from the sample.And of course, no refund or even store credit.Im a fair consumer who expects to be treated honestly, this experience was not so.
They send you a certificate indicating you can get appliances, electronics, furniture up to 3,600 dollars with zero dollars down, but when you get there, they change everything and want 25 percent down because its an electronic. Waste of time. I dont recommend due to the scamming ways. Anything to get you in the store and once youre ready to move forward they blindsided you. I even just paid my account, the balance is zero dollars, they dont take any of that into consideration... DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!
I have purchased other products from this company in the past with out issues. This time around, It is fair to say that Daniels is only interested in money and not their reputation or customer service. The furniture may look nice but, it is cheap and over priced. When you buy something expensive, you expect great quality, hence the quote you get what you pay for. Not in this case! I wanted a sturdy quality dinning room table which is why I did not mind paying cash and spending about 1,000 dollars on a round wood table for 4. I payed the extra fee for delivery. Upon arrival, I noticed the base was cracked. Long story short, yesterday was the third time a base was attempted to be delivered and low and behold the base was already cracked! 3 times???!!! realized that the base is a manufacture defect and at this point, I feel like I am getting the runaround and I am very frustrated. I was told by someone at customer service that since I have a warranty they will continue to change the base of the table for 1 year but, what good is that when the table is defected, the base is about as fragile as an eggshell and the table top is too heavy for it. Does that mean that once the year is up what ever happens to the base is my problem? Hopefully they make this right, the customer service I received in the begining was fine, now it seems as if no one wants to make this right......... Update: just talked to Juan one of the managers who assures me that they woudl fix this situation. We shall see..
I have not bought any furniture or goods with this company, but a lady that is a mutual member of a church I attend listed my name as a reference without asking me - she just did it. She is behind on her payments unfortunately. They call me - seeking her, and I told them I was not her friend and not associated with her, and to PLEASE stop calling me. They keep calling (harassment). I have never heard of this place, nor do business with them. From this experience - calling me when I have no association with them - I never will.
Worst customer service ever the lady on the phone literally told I don’t care and f* you didn’t help and was rude when I tried to file a claim.Bad quality my couches are not even a year old and they already started ripping from de arm rest part, I bought insurance and they didn’t want to fix them either. Almost paid $1000 for couches that I already have to throw them away.
If you have options - go elsewhere! DO NOT get credit with Daniels!!!They harass with every call, they dont listen to you, and they have the worst customer service Ive ever run into!Case & Point - When we originally bought the furniture (mind you we put more then 1/2 down in the amount of $2900) well my hubby is on social security disability and was at the time getting paid on the 4th wed of every month - then they changed it to the 3rd of each month (not our fault - but we informed them right away - they didnt care or appreciate that) - therefore, we are about 3 days late each month.....mind you.... 3 DAYS!!!! they harass you to pay in their words, even if you answer and tell them, they will STILL harass you. Well we answer our phones - and they dont work with you, we tried to change payment NOPE, we tried to tell them each time they call - they just keep calling and harassing - and someone will call back and say youre taking food out of my kids mouth or that is unacceptable - pay by this time or else etc.They are horrible people, & dont care about their customers. Theyre sharks, not a company - BTW the credit company is RD Home Services!NOT WORTH THE HASSLE - GO ELSEWHERE IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE - THESE PEOPLE DONT DESERVE OUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!I wont lie and say they werent nice when you walk in and they have a great show room (hence the quality rating) - but the second they got our $ and their commission and our signed agreement - weve been harassed to no end - and dont care about their customers like they try to claim!!Weve even had a guy threaten to kick down our door ---- weve also had a manager say its okay to pay each month on the 3rd - and then the following month the harassment starts all over (for 3 days - thats all were ever late due to the day we get paid!).Its just not worth the hassle - we cannot wait til our contract is paid and its over with. But in the mean-time we will do everything we can in our power to make sure that even if it keeps one person from going to them - thats enough for us - and thats less $ for them!
They have a good variety of furniture, not so much for appliances, and they have a decent amount of TVs to comare.Two annoying aspects was a hispanic sales woman who contantly asked if we had any questions and who floowed us. After indicating we were just there to look around and being asked for the 5th time if we had any questions, my friend turned around and made the comment, in a polite way I don t know how many ways I can say No.This persistant sales woman continued to follow us throughout the entire store for 20-30 minutes.We felt as if we were being monitired and felt hurried since we couldnt shop and browse at ease at our own pace and leisure. At times, she would be no less than 5-7 of us. As we walked to different areas of the store, she woukd lay back about 20 and then catch up to us. You could hear her footsteps approach as she shorten her distance.This sales woman acted more like security than a sales person. I have forgotten her name, but she stands about 54, has an accent, blonde hair which was pulled back at the time.Overall, we didnt feel comfortable, and felt annoyed. Basically, we felt like children being watched over.If it were not for this sales woman, I wouldve give my experience here 4-5 stars. I didnt want my rating to reflect poorly upon the store and this is the reason for givubg a 3 star rating.
We walked in the store to get some furniture but were asked if we needed any help No no one said hi workers were enjoying coffee still no ask my i help you well i guess that means you dont want my business cause i get asked in a store is there anything i can help you fine! But not here so i will take my money else where and find a store that will gladly help. Never to return to this store or any of your stores
READ THE REVIEWS!!!!I dont know where to begin.I have bought about 3 items from here between 2012-2013It is 2016 and I am trying to purchase a home with my partner HOWEVER our lender said Daniels was affecting my credit. So I called and spoke to the finance department. HOLY COW! Worst customer service ever! I have worked in the customer service field but was never this rude to people. RODANDO/ROLANDO whatever your name is, you are such an A*HOLE. He did not let me speak and just hung up.I finally spoke to EMILY(I hope thats how she spells it) extension 177finally someone amazing that helped me, thank you so much! There is always one person who is patient and that was her. Because I know how it can get dealing with rude customers & thats the thing, I wasnt rude I just wanted my questions answered as to why my credit report showed Daniels when it has been years.Anyways, she finally helped me to getting my complaint sent to Scarlett who I believe handles the credit score/report area. I am hoping to finally get my issue resolved so I can get my home. Thanks again Emily, you rock.
This is a really nice furniture store and they have lots and lots of people to assist you. This is a welcome sight. Thanks Daniels for putting you customers first. As I walked through the store I was amazed at the selection they offered. I am sure you could find exactly what you are looking for and the prices are amazingly reasonable. I am not sure how they do it, but it is great to see.
This place will not work with you what so ever. I have Excellent credit and got furniture through them. I unexpectedly got pregnant and got put out on disability for a high risk pregnancy and I cannot afford the payment. They offered me an insurance plan but I have to pay what I owe in order for me to apply for the insurance. Obviously I cannot pay what I owe or else Id be paying my monthly payment. They harass me everyday with phone calls from people that barely speak English. Never going back here and definitely not going to recommend this place to anyone.
We bought a mattress here and not even six months later the box spring broke and they would not fix or replace it. so we stopped paying until they would . we finally paid it off and they have yet to come replace it and i am still getting calls from them saying i owe them money when we paid them off in full. all in all this place sicks.
In my experience at Daniels Home Center, I was immediately offered assistance right at the door. This gave me a comfortable feeling of being welcomed and not much of a stranger to the store since it was my first time shopping there. A Gentlemen named Ceasar helped me in my purchase and I am now enjoying an affordable couch at a reasonable monthly pay.
Looking on their website and found a bedroom set that really appealed to us. Decided to go into store and see in person to check out quality and such. We thought about it and measured our room for fit and went back online and applied for their advertised 0% interest credit for 12 months. Was approved as we have excellent credit, was asked to come in to the store to do paper work. Once in the store we were offered the $1500 credit with $300 down for 12 months at 25%. Bait and switch and took a credit inquiry hit to play their game.
I have been purchasing over the last 6 years and most of my stuff are still in great shape. The error that alot of people make is that they let the sales associates convince them that they need more. That you also need More time to pay their contracts off meaning smaller monthly payments. Thats a big NO people. That only means that your interest percent will go up. Purchase items in small amounts and pay them back quickly. Sales associate jobs here are to lure you in. Always review and reread your contract before you sign and always ask if you have any questions. The one thing Daniels home center needs improvement is the way they treat the costumer. THEY CALL NONSTOP THREATENING AND HARASSING.I HAVE HAD THESE ISSUES MYSELF . This happens when your behind a payment. They call 4 to 5 times a day and also blow up your references phones. Again this becomes very irritating when you have already spoken to someone over the phone or have made the call yourself to inform them as to why you have not yet made a payment. DONT LET THEM GET THE BEST OF YOU. PLAIN AND SIMPLE DONT ANSWER THEIR CALLS BECAUSE THEY FLIP EVERYTHING OVER THE PHONE. INSTEAD GO IN AND TALK TO SOMEONE OVER ANY ISSUES. :) Other than that I rate this place an okay place to shop.
I got ripped off they sold me a used macbook pro for 2,300 They somehow made the Box look brand new the the laptop.even had plastic like if it was brand new The laptop was already turned on after unboxing everything..And Im still paying it off not sure if I should stop doing payments....dont spend your money here
DO NOT BUY HERE!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!The vibe here is Mexicans/Hispanics who dgaf, and will do the least to make it right and Im Mexican, born and raised so I know what Im talking about...I bought a $500 sectional with a$150 5 year ACCIDENTAL warranty... 2 years into have the sectional, I go to a public laundry mat as they have those huge washers to wash my cushions, long story short, the machine ruined the cushions, literally ripped them into shreds (I think it mightve been the springs but I didnt even think that could happen). I call Daniels Home Center to see about getting a replacement, and they gave me the run around for weeks, finally spoke to the people that are part of the warranty, Guardian Products, and they gave me some BS as to why this wasnt considered an accident like what?? Called Daniels back again to let them know and see if there was something that couldve been done because all I needed was replacement cushions but nope. They couldnt even offer a store credit or something to make things right, I wouldve bought another sectional from them if they offered at least store credit, so now Im still stuck with these uncomfortable couches and I rather buy from a big name brand company because those people have enough money to cover things like this and make things right for their customers to come back and keep shopping there, but NOT DANIELs Home Center
Starving sales people descend upon you as you enter the store like freaking piranhas. You cant even look around without a bunch of them hovering over you.Then when I finally made a purchase, the sales guy tried to sneak in some hidden insurance fees and other charges (+$600) on my finance contract.I had to call him out on it and he took those 2 hidden charges out. Came to find out later their prices are double what I could have paid elsewhere...not to mention the exorbitant interest on the already highly marked up prices.Daniels is horrible, horrible - do yourself and your pocket book a favor and buy your stuff else where.
I made a profile just to warn everyone dont buy here i bought whole leavingroom set about 8 months ago and it was very expensive and turns out is very poor quality . ... I also bought the warranty 5 year protection plan and they cant be reached wrong number was out on the pamphlet and too top it off when i fannally got the right number turns out they close supper early ...
Act# 2273590-13. I bought a bed and paid for it fully but you Daniels went ahead and sent my name to credit score group as a defaulter $115.00. My regular calls to finance dept at euclid store has been met by assurances that it was an error and would be corrected but now 1 year since i noted and reported that error nothing has been done and my credit score is seriously affected. who can help?I checked credit score yesterday Nov 7,14 and still showing .Very disappointed customer.Kennedy.
-Horrible customer service, they dont even try to fix there mistakes, and they give you the run around.-There products are outdated.-There sales associates are worse than used car sales men.- Better prices elsewhere.- The only good thing about this location is there huge selection on furniture.
I got pretty much everything at this place, tv stand, living room tables and leather couches, and dinner room table. Everything was around 4 thousand and i paid everything in full around 3 months i didnt have problems with the employees at all. Its just the i feel the quality of the furniture isnt that good at all, my dinner table and chairs are falling apart, like they didnt make them good or something, i bought warranty for everything. I exchange one chair over a year and all the other chairs are going thru the same thing. its really frustrating, its only me and my husband and its not like we use all 6 chairs. just last night one leg from the chair broke, the wood is so weak. First thing is the morning im giving them a call and see what they can do because its just not fair.
Bought some couches spent about $1500 just the couches and it was bad quality since day one i had problems with my couches. Its been 1yr and a half and my couches had peel and one seat broke. I will never shop here again, if your looking into buying furniture dont buy it here you will only spent more money on the long run.
Horrible customer service .They harrass people if your late they called my human resources dept.Left voicemail messages on several of administration executives knowing I couldnt receive calls.The rep said if I pay theyll stop calling they using collecting teqniques that are not allowed by state laws. Rep wouldnt give me his supervisors name when I had to find out on my own she seemed bored and not concerned with his threats.Dont go here the collection dept reps are a direct reflection of the management not caring and approving of there behayoir.
Beware of shady sales tactics.They lied to my wife they sold her a 5 Year warranty for our couch.The midbeam broke in 3 months(Im the only one who sits on it).We call Daniels they wash their hands and give you a number.The insurance is even shadier. Dont Tell them its from just using it or theyll come up with a lame excuse on why they only cover accidental. Of course what ever happened is accident.$200 gone and they dont care because they already got my money!Dont bother with the Warranty!Save yourself the grief and BUy FROM A REAL store that values customers.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS **** worst customer service ever , from the sales reps right down to the financial manager & supervisors .To start they were 1 month late delivering our couch & refrigerator from the promised due date .My husband was Injured due to a work related injury we spoke supervisors on several occasions to explain thats why we were going to be late on our payments but they refused to work with us we then spoke to a rep that insulted my husband and repeatedly told him to shut up when I called to complain we were promised a call back which never happened .It didnt stop there today we spoke to a very rude man who is suppose to be representing Daniels and again , insulted us by calling us ignorant uneducated people . Who crumbled up our past due bill and threw it at our door . When I did call to speak to the financial mgr hoping for some type of resolution he then became irate and would not allow me to get a word in . I then asked him what can he do to resolve this on going issue he said nothingThese people are ignorant who make a living off of harassing their customers as well as tossing every insult they can .Today I started my complaint to the BBBI wish I wouldve know how poorly these people conduct business before we decided to purchase from them . I bought a set of sofa fron this place and they sold me extended warrenty for 5 years. After 2 year it was falling apart and i called tge socalled warrenty they were saying its not covered. Its Highway robbery. They are ripping off people. Dont go to these cheap places to buy furniture. Its waste.
Basically, I went and got into some nice couches but after I bought them they were absolute garbage they squeak like mice and are peeling like snake skin the legs are plastic painted like wood. Seems like they took it from a trailer park garage sale. And dont get me started on there location they took us into a hot warehouse with dirty floors and foot marks on the couches and i went to the bathroom and some how there was poop on the roof.
Do not buy here. Delivery will leave marks in your house and try to tell you it was there already. Assembly work had missing screws. Also they do not offer any method of payment except coming into the store to pay, or paying over the phone, but they add $10 processing fee to pay over the phone. What a scam!

I was told that the dresser we were interested in was not available at the warehouse for viewing. I had to take a gamble, but because we were in a rush, we purchased the dresser.To my horror, I discovered that the drawers were made of light-weight wood and looked like they needed to be sanded. The drawers were much smaller on the inside than what they would appear to be on the outside.The top of the dresser had little divots on the top that Im still unsure about. Were they part of the wood? Or did they dent the dresser upon delivery?I was so disappointed that we paid this much for a falsely advertised product.
Where do I begin? Unfortunately, my wife and I did not begin with reviews, otherwise we would have know NOT to shop here. The 1 and 2 Star reviews could not be more accurate. We just bought a new house and were looking for a couch. We went to Daniels Home Center in Anaheim because ad look like some good deals. We found a sectional couch that we liked. Comfy, nice, and my wife loved it. So we opted to purchase with CASH. They said it can be delivered to our house in ONE week. Well, I never heard from them during the week, and to be honest, being busy with the new house, I had not thought about it, just knowing that it would be there on a certain day. That certain day came and still didnt hear anything, so I called there warehouse to see if I could get a delivery time. I was bounced around there and the store a few times, and told me they would look into it and call me back. An hr. later, they called saying that the manufacturer never shipped the sectional, and it would not be there for another week and half. DID YOU PLAN ON TELLING ME, OR WERE YOU JUST GOING TO LET ME SIT AT HOME ALL DAY WITHOUT A COUCH. They said oh, didnt anybody call the day before? .....If someone had called me, I wouldnt be on the phone pissed off cause I am still sitting on my floor..... So he said something about compensation for the delay, and he would call me back. Never heard from him again. SO, went to store and spoke in person. Granted I left there happy with some cash back in my pocket, and a loaner couch, both as a compensation for delay. So, being ok with a loaner and just waiting for my couch to get there, they called 4 days later asking if they can deliver my couch.(Which would be nice) but the reason I was doing things on Saturdays, is because we work during the week.... nobody is home.. they said We can deliver today..... OMG!!, what part of nobody home dont you get. Finally, scheduled for the following Sat.as in 3 days from that phone call. Today, they decided to call my wife....... 12 TIMES IN 10 Min. ..... When my wife finally answered on the 12th call, all they said was This is (employee name) from Daniels confirming your delivery for tomorrow at (my address), in Anaheim. REALLY?? ALL that to confirm a delivery? IF WE ARE AVAILABLE TO ANSWER THE PHONE, WE PROBABLY WOULD HAVE. THERE IS THIS GREAT INVENTION CALLED VOICE MAIL. YOU LEAVE A MESSAGE AND I WILL CALL YOU BACK WHEN I CAN. THERE IS NO NEED FOR 12 PHONE CALLS. I am going to be sooo happy to get my couch and not have to deal with this place anymore. EVER!!....The 2 stars is only because the one manager tried to help me out with a loaner. Otherwise would have been 1 star. Not happy with the experience at all.....Oh, and employees sit, literally, right outside the main entrance to take breaks (or stand around) and smoke...
The most bad experience I ve ever seenI went to Anahaim store on 11/20/2016 .. to buy some itemsAll agents were trying to take us as their customers in a horrible way !!They dont tell the same answer for the same questionAfter purchasing the items (bed room ,living room and dinning room) for 1300 $ they told us to call them 2 days before the needed delivery day to get them ready .. in a moment the agent (Angel) disappeared after paying the money .. when we asked him to tell us the dimensions (as he has said he will) .. he refused !!On Thursday 24th of Nov , 2016 ..we called them asking to make the delivery on next Monday (28th of Nov) .. after struggling with the phone customer service ..talking to more than 5 agents .. telling everyone the whole story .. we agreed on the dateOn Saturday 26th of Nov (today) .. Angel called me telling he is going to deliver the dinning room and the living room only next Monday .. and the bedroom will be delivered next week !!I told him t cant !! I made all arrangements to move to the new apartment on Monday .. will we have to sleep over the floor (with the 2 years old daughter !!!He said my manager will call you NOW .. after one hour another agent called me only to arrange the delivery !! .. i told her the case then another struggle started .. i said the story 5 times .. each time someone transfers me to another .. and finally one agent told me i have only 3 options .. either to wait for the next week .. to to change the room .. or to take my money back .. i told her not to give me options .. i need my room at the agreed date .. but she closed the line !!!I called Angel again and he didnt answer !!Now , we are in a trouble of sleeping for one week (with our 2 years old daughter) over the floor because of their lack of respect to their customersActually , I will never repeat such experience again .. and advising everybody not to

Awful manipulative sales men and manager even worse. My friend whos very trusting and gullable and physically impaired went and talked to saleman Wilmur, she ended up buying $8149.70 in merchadise and removal of existing furniture was a verbal agreement Wilmur promised. He said since she was spending so much money that he would have the delivery guys remove the old stuff. That was really important to her cuz I work all the time, and do ALOT for her. Anyways she paid the whole balance. After that delivery got canceled and they would put me on hold for hours with a promise of a call back, never happened, so I canceled and wanted a refund, first they said all sales final, then a manager named Juan said that there would be a restocking fee of 30% of the sale. These criminals wanted $2400 of the refund. There all scandalous maniplative scuzzballs. The prices r inflated and there customer service is GOD AWFUL. Its great UNTIL YOU PAY THE BALANCE. She ended up getting keeping merchandise and when the delivery came they didnt want to take old furniture and the delivery guys swindled her out of another $400 after I pain additional $65 for disposal fee to Daniels Furniture. Really Bad service here I just purchased a washer and dryer. And a month later it didnt work anymore and they will not replace it. It took over four months to have this issue fix . If I would of known this store would have given me issues a would have not purchased anything. Never again am I buying here again .
I bought a refrigerator about a month ago the door on the right side was getting loose .I called spoke to the manager and explained what was going on with the item.she said she couldnt help me because I didnt have the serial number. And that was the only way she could it help me.

Buyers beware I bought a lot of things from Daniels when I moved in my new home its cheaply made falls apart quickly most of all the washer and dryer set and refrigerator the washer is a lemon since the day we used it I brought an extend warranty had them out to fix it twice already broke again over holiday weekend leaking water on my hardwood they have yet to have done anything about it they should have gave me a brand new one since it didnt work the first time I used it bad customer service and the refrigerator is falling apart not even 6 months old . Take your business else where buyers my friends and family have had bad experience from them as well

2022-09-12This place is a joke! They need 0 stars but it wouldn’t allow that. I have contacted the store and they say no mangers are available, so I’ve left messages for management and no one responds! I had this issue within two months of purchase with a spot peeling off. They fixed that and said it was a defect!! This is what my sofa/loveseat look like now, two years later!! I purchased the 5 yr. warranty and I called that department as well. They say to call Daniels!! I have never bought anything that has worn and hasn’t held up with minimal use like this!!! Such poor quality and should definitely longer than two years. I still haven’t been able to speak to a manager or get this matter resolved. Save your money and go somewhere that stands behind their DEFECTIVE furniture!!!UPDATE: Regarding the comment from Customer Service below, NO ONE HAS REACHED OUT TO ME TO RESOLVE THIS MATTER!!!

2022-07-11If I could give this place no stars at all I would. This is absolutely the worst place to purchase anything from. Went in on Sunday to purchase a bunkie board for our king size bed. Was given a price and I asked multiple times if he was sure it would fit our bed as it was a split eastern king. Paid for it and was told that I could pick it up from the warehouse the next day. Showed up to the warehouse to than receive one board instead of two. Called daniels to be told I only purchased half of the split king and that I would need to come back and purchase the other one and pick it up tomorrow. I than said that I would like a refund and I would return the one I received. I was told to come in tomorrow to do it. I insisted that I would be coming in right than to return it and get a refund. I pulled up in front to get the item out of my car and carried it in myself while the staff watched and didn’t even offer help. I would suggest buying furniture from ANYWHERE besides here.

2020-10-18Rude service I payed for shipping and Furniture installation but they put it front on my apartment and they left. I called them on the phone many times with customer service and manager But to no avail. They told to me you have to wait 3 days Friday through Monday. And he did not want to return the amount for installation. Be careful

2018-11-10Did some price comparisons around Anaheim and Santana before buying my furniture for my new apartment and found the best, reasonable and quality furniture for my budget. Anaheim store was so big and it has a wide range of selection. Staff is pretty active and supportive. Definitely its gonna be my first choice.

2021-12-01I looked for the best deals at the store in Anaheim and found a bed, TV and TV stand that were on clearance. I saved more than 50% off retail prices. The only set back with this store is they are horrible with their phones. I was on hold for more than 30 minutes and I decided to hang up. They call and asked me to call them back regarding a scheduled deliver between 6 - 7 PM. No one ever answered. I get a call from the delivery guys that they will be at my home in 20 minutes which was 2 PM.So what happened - they delivered the TV, TV stand and mattress only, without the bed frame. I had to go back to the store on my free time to see when my bed frame was going to be delivered. My salesman, Jorge said that it was no longer available. (Jorge is an excellent salesman, he helped me as best as he could).So I decided to change my order. They called me yesterday to confirm my address without a time of delivery. I call back and of course, no one will answer. So annoying! Please hire more help in answering your phones and maybe I will give you 4 stars.

2022-02-24*** WORST PLACE TO PURCHASE *** I haven’t had my furniture no more then a full year, dresser falling apart, my sofas are flimsy look cheap. I’ve purchased over $3,000 in furniture. I wish I would of read reviews before purchasing. Cheap!!!! Material not worth the price!!!!! Yes, I have warranty but is it even worth it??? ANAHEIM LOCATION IS THE WORST!!!! Beware!!!!

2022-02-01Sales people are vultures! Followed my son & I step by step the minute we walked in the door. Made us feel very uncomfortable. When I asked him to stop following us he said he was doing his job and works on commission. My son & I left. Not a welcoming place at all. Wouldnt recommend at all!
