We drive 40 minutes to see Dr. Olga! I was a little nervous going into my daughters sedation case, but What a comfort to know your little one is in such good hands. Dr. Olga was gentle, compassionate, and kept me informed of everything that was happening with my daughter’s procedures. The whole office was professional, caring, and thorough. I Couldn’t imagine taking me daughter anywhere else. Thank you
I love how much this place cares about my 4 year old. This is by far the most outstanding place I have been to and the employees are very gentle, loving, and kind from entry to exit. This will for sure be where we schedule all of our future dentist appointments. East Lake is the best place I could recommend hands down for anyone in need of a pediatric dentist. I absolutely recommend this dental office. Staff is friendly and attentive and the Dentists are so nice. I have a kiddo with autism who is non-verbal and the staff is great with him. They are accommodating and patient. The environment is not a sensory overload like other dental offices nor is it crowded. Im beyond happy here.
My children’s’ first visit was an extremely pleasant and positive one. The staff and doctor were all very attentive & professional creating a warm, welcoming environment . My 4 year olds were super comfortable and had nothing of the typical scary dentist experience. I have to mention, the space was also noticeably clean and well kept. Would definitely recommend 👍
My kids have seen Dr Peggy since they were old enough to go to the dentist. They don’t get a lot of screen time, so getting to watch a show or movie in the ceiling is a fantastic natural anesthetic. Our most recent visit was for my youngest to get sealants. He wasn’t a fan of the process, but he managed to focus on Pokémon to get him through it. 😁Every single person we have ever worked with is super kind and kid-oriented, and they make going to the dentist fun.
The front reception is very friendly and warm welcoming when you first arrive. From when you enter to the dental assistant and the dentist they are very good with the kids. They have a tv above for the kids to watch with headphones to make them comfortable and settled. Overall for our first experience with them they were really good.
The visits are easily accessible, scheduling flexible. The one deal breaker is making my kiddo feel comfortable each visit! With the team attentiveness and knowing the patient, its easy to execute the appointment and not have a screamer or cranky pants on my hands!😁
Excellent service, we switched to them after a couple of bad experiences with The Super D … don’t regret it at all! they were able to see my daughter even though we were late, (of course I apologized). Super nice Dr , super nice staff. Love it!
Its been awhile since I took my kid to Eastlake Pediatric and I have to say the overall service did not disappoint. We were in and out, very efficient and professional. They bent over backwards to fit us in since I was late. We are so happy to have them as our go to and well keep on going!!!
The place is clean and very kid’s friendly. My daughter loved the doctor and his staff very friendly and kind. 100% will recommend to take your kid’s in here. They definitely accommodate your child to make sure that they are comfortable and safe.

Absolutely love this place! The staff is great, the waiting area is just enough to keep your 2/3/4 year olds entertained. The dentist and her assistant were amazing, we will continue coming here even if we move!

It was my sons first time there and we loved it. They had things to keep the kids distracted and were patient with him the whole time. The receptionist knew it was us as soon as we even walked in so that was a nice touch. We are definitely going to continue to go here.

Always a great experience at Eastlake Coastal Kids Dentistry! We use to take our kids from Eastlake all the way up to Carmel Vally to supposedly “the best Kids Dentist” in San Diego but the drive got to much of a hassle so we took a shot with Coastal kids which is a lot closer. They are leaps and bounds better the “best kids Dentist” in San Diego!
The staff at Eastlake is phenomenal!! Everything is wonderfully tailored towards children and the staff knows exactly what they’re doing when it comes to kids ♥️ My daughter is 100% NOT afraid to go to the dentist and enjoys her visits ☺️
Coastal Kids Dentistry & Orthodontics do not care about black people or their children. Front office staff is incompetent and they do not know how to properly complete insurance verifications. When you call them out on their inadequate processes, or inquire as to how, or why it makes sense to use the same social security number for two separate people to verify two different coverages, instead of fixing the issue their answer is to discharge your child as a patient even if they are in the middle of a treatment plan. I left work early and arranged for my daughter to miss school only to be informed that the appointment would not be happening as scheduled without any prior notification. Follow - up communication NEVER occurred as promised. I guess it was not worth their while to follow through with the treatment being that they would have to bill the insurance as opposed to getting $3,000.00 cash from me after falsely reporting that my daughter’s benefits through Tri-Care had been terminated. The male dental hygienist that works in the office also approached me in a threatening manner trying to intimidate me when I was expressing my concern, frustration, and dissatisfaction as to how my family was being treated not once, but twice in the facility. Lourdes and McKenna are failing miserably at customer service and holding team members accountable. There are no African Americans working in the office and they do not understand our communication style and or culture and I believe this is also what impacted their decision to discharge my daughter as a patient as well. If you are BIPOC do not waste your time trying to seek care and services from this provider. Coastal Kids Dentistry & Orthodontics do not care about black people or their children.
I have brought my daughter in twice already and all the staff is very nice and patient! The doctor is so sweet and my daughter has had good experiences with no tanteums or ceyibg! I Definitely recommend this office.
Amazing! Staff, Dr Sam, the facility. There was a mix up on my scheduling an appointment online and it didn’t book. They still made time for us! And we’re so understanding when my little one got overwhelmed (was my fault)

I absolutely recommend this place for the kiddos. I have a 10 year old that got traumatized with the Super Dentist, so my son isn’t always the easiest to deal with. He started off upset, scared, freaking out, kicking the dental chair, crying over xrays leaving with a huge smile on his face. Angie and Vanessa were amazing with my 2 kiddos. Absolutely love Dr. Russon and his whole vibe. Paola the front desk is amazinggg as well! They are definitely in this for the kids. I absolutely love how they try accommodating to the comfort of the children. My son got to the car saying he trusted them after today’s visit.

I have been coming to this pediatric dentistry with my daughter since she was 18 months, she is now 3. She was very anxious the first few appointments but has greatly improved due to the incredibly patient and sweet staff. They made sure she was comfortable the entire time and didn’t rush her at all. I’m very happy coming here and look forward to bringing her sibling when he is old enough. Thank you!
Best pediatric dentist weve been to so far. No wait when we arrived (our previous dentist would take up to an hour every time to finally be put in exam chair). Very patient and friendly staff. Let out daughter play with the Dental tools before the exam, which helpd make her feel comfortable. Also let dad help with the suction tool when she got nervous and made it a great experience for our family! Tv on the ceilings to keep kids distracted or entertained. Dentist also offer a small toy from a toy chest for encouragement. Will definitely come back for future dental exams for our little ones.

This dental clinic was recommended to me by my sister and i would say is one of the best Ive seen. I brought my kids here when we were on a holiday in San Diego. I have not seen a clinic this well organized with a friendly vibe. Even thought my kids were new patients, they handled my kids appointment with ease and even got them in the schedule earlier than expected. Most of the dental clinics this days would take months to get an appointment or even would not accept new patients. The dental assistants took care of my kids very well and the dentist was professional and very friendly towards my kids and myself and aswered all my questions with ease. I would highly recommend this clinic to fellow military service members that has kids around the area.

Every one is always so professional and patient with my children. The level of care they provide is better than any other pediatric dentistry we visited in the past. Its nice to see my kids treated with such care and passion. And to top it off they keep the office clean and tidy, from the waiting room to the bathrooms to the patient chairs.

The orthodontist, dentist, technicians, and administrative staff are outstanding, professional, caring and responsive! My children receive their regular dental check ups and see the orthodontist here. Whenever my son had an issue with his braces or expander, he was seen the same day. The staff is knowledgeable, great with children and quick to respond to any issues. We live in Imperial Beach and have tried other dentists in Coronado and Chula Vista. We won’t go anywhere else. I recommend them without hesitation!

This clinic is the best! Our family has four children. And each had minor dental problems. Dr. Olga is very attentive, patient, kind. She is a true professional in the nursery dentistry. Our youngest baby is five years old, and yesterday a serious operation took place in this clinic. The dental situation was very serious and there was a lot of work. We, as parents, are very strong worried. Anesthesia is serious, the consequences are different. And we were also worried about how the baby would endure this anesthesia. The anesthesiologist had a conversation with us, explained everything. She calmed us down and said that you shouldnt worry. But we were still worried. The operation lasted 1.5 hours as planned. After the operation, the baby is monitored, they look at his condition, and only when the baby wakes up and the doctors make sure that his condition is good, only then they let him go home. Our baby underwent surgery very well. We followed clear guidelines. Before the operation, nothing was used in food and did not give water. And we saw how easily the baby recovered from the anesthesia, he did not cry, he did not feel sick, there was no vomiting. After 20 minutes, he was playing in the car and we went to the store for a toy.We are very happy! The baby has a perfect white smile instead of black teeth. And also on the right teeth there are protective crowns. Dear parents, do not be afraid of anything, feel free to contact this beautiful professional clinic! Health begins from a young age. Fear nothing! We would like to express our deep gratitude and appreciation to the staff of the clinic and to Dr. Olga. Thank you very much professionalism.

Great dentist for kids. Had been going to another dentist in the Eastlake area and although ok, was always crazy packed and long waiting times. This office is great, they are very calm with my child who can bit a dramatic when it comes to dental care. They have always been friendly, great with communication, and professional.

It’s really sad knowing that your first appointment is useless when coming to this dental office, only for them not to really help you but just to tell you what needs to be done on the next follow-up appointment. Then you go to schedule your follow-up appointment so they can help you with what your child needs and their next available appointment is until June 28. So why even start treatment if by the time they get to it, the situation could/might be worse than today. It is crazy that you have to wait more than two months just to take care of a 8 year old childs cavity. They need to do something about their follow-up appointments. We shouldn’t have to wait more than two months for one cavity. This makes no sense. To be honest regardless of what treatment people need, they shouldn’t wait more than 2 months to get it done. I will have to find a new dental office. Because I’m very unhappy for the service they are giving.
The hygienists are amazing- patient, kind, and so good with the kids. Unfortunately the dentist and front desk lady are just too fast forward, feels like an auction to speak with him and she is plain scary. He is def nice, just too rushed.It is still a nice and very clean office and we would still go back if there was a different woman at the front desk, which is unfortunate because dental work is intrusive and is something you work kids up to not being scared of 😳 She just starts the whole thing off on the wrong note so we plan to find a place that has more welcoming personnel when we enter.

Both my children have gone to this dentist office for about a year and EVERY TIME I take them, I receive EXCEPTIONAL service. They office is always clean, they are always very patient, and they are great with my children! You can tell the chemistry in the office is pleasant and everyone works as a team. My children have been seen by Dr. Macaoay who is outstanding in his practice and his lovely dentist aides, including Jasmine. I love their office!

Very happy they built this new pediatric dentistry in Eastlake! There is little to no wait! The staff is amazing and very welcoming and my son loves coming here. He’s 5 years old and is always excited for his visits. He recently had 2 teeth extracted and is in NO PAIN!! He is even excited for his 6 month checkup!

This facility is great! The staff are amazing from the Reception, the RDAs, to the Doctors. The waiting area is great and full of fun things for the kids to do, my 4 and 3 year old with Autism do great here, and I appreciate all of the accommodations they make.
Best place in the world. The staff is amazing and the place is like a dream. VIP customer service, easy parking. My son hates when I open his mouth to check his teeth, but doctor and assistant made an amazing job, they are extremely gentle and so sweets. When my son finished his consultation they gave him a prize. Afterwards you can walk around the mall which is beautiful and has some entertainment places for kids. I’m so happy I found this wonderful place 😊❤️

This is the best Pediatric Dentist Office around hands down. They were very attentive to my son while he had his teeth worked on. Even during the middle of a pandemic they proved to be open and available to the public. I could get an appointment anywhere for my boy. Dont waste your time with Super Dentist and go with the REAL heros at Eastlake Pediatric.

2022-03-01This was by far the best pediatric dental visit my children have had. The office receptionist greeted us and was very friendly. The hygienist/dental assistant was awesome! She was patient with both of my children even the two year old. The dentist himself was EVERYTHING! He listened to me and my concerns and recommended different things and gave several tips for my son. I am very pleased with their professionalism and the wait time in the lobby was very quick. Awesome visit all around.

2022-06-16If I could give 100 stars I would. Very thankful that I found this dental office. The staff are so friendly and informative. My son just had work done and went under general anesthesia. Let me just say the anesthesiologist was amazing. She was so informative. The Dentist himself was also amazing. They all know exactly how to speak to children to make them feel comfortable. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you make an appointment.

2022-05-06Great first time experience for my 2yo. The waiting room was warm and welcoming, with some books for the kids and a movie playing. Very friendly and professional staff and Dentist. Dr. Sam and his assistant talked my little one through everything they were doing and made it fun. Examination was quick and they explained my toddler’s condition to me fully, putting my concerns to rest. I look forward to the next exam where we’ll do the first X-rays.

2022-02-24This is a great place for your children. The dentists are kid friendly. Its a very spacious area, so you are able to take a stroller if you are like me who have two kids different ages. They are very informative and repeat everything they are doing to allow your child to feel comfortable. It is hard to get appointments right away, but they do have a waiting list that they use, and I was lucky to be called for an earlier appointment.

2022-08-06My boys loved it. My little one has had not so pleasant visits to the dentist prior to finding Coastal Kids. He said “finally a dentist where they do it right”. The office has such a calming vibe. The Dental Asistants are very nice with the kids the way they treat and talk to them also gives the kids a reassuring feeling. So thankful for finding this place. And the Dr. is very nice and explains everything in detail. Overall it was a great experience.

2022-04-20I took my 2 1/2 year old daughter to her appointment yesterday and it was another awesome experience (2nd visit). The staff kept my daughter engaged, informed her about what was going on every step of the way and even asked her what she would like to watch on Disney+ (TVs in the ceilings). The dentist provided clear, actionable feedback to me while giving positive reinforcement to her. We will definitely be coming back and I strongly recommend this dentist for families in the area😀

2022-03-25-Very friendly staff; my son didnt like the cleaning part but he liked the staff, he behaved well enough and waited patiently, which the wait wasnt even long.-Quick and to the point; nicely done general cleaning for my 2 year old, they were very patient and you can tell they care about the kids and what they do. They also answered the questions that we had.-Clean and organized-Were overall satisfied and we highly recommend this clinic!

Both of my daughters were afraid of the dentist but this place is super kid friendly, the staff is always so welcoming and friendly that they make each visit run smoothly and my kids leave happy every time. They are no longer afraid of the dentist and look forward to their visits. Definitely recommend this office if your kids struggle with the being afraid of the dentist.
