Due to remodeling indoor and construction repair outside we had to park about 100 yards from our rooms. We were not told of these issues. They advertised a continental breakfast but there was any due to the remodel. The store in the office had no breakfast food. In one of our rooms the people next door and above made racket that kept everyone up until 1:30 in the morning. When security was called they were reluctant to confront the people making the noise. We will not stay there again
Best place in Anaheim to stay at. It feels like youre staying in a Condo not a hotel. It feels like studio apartment for the single studios. Very friendly staff if you need to check in early if room is ready they dont give you a hard time. They take cash deposit which is great so you dont have to wait 10 days for your bank or cc return it back to you.
We stayed here for 8 nights. Check in went well. We have very mixed feelings after this. Doubtful we will return. There are so many ways that they could have made things right.Pros this would have given a 4 or 5 rating.Check I smoothRoom (we had a 2 bedroom loft) spacious for 5 people and clean.Although dated, (we stayed here 12 years ago when it was a Marriott), it was in decent shape.Regular coffee pot, microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator in working condition and clean.Laundry room clean and washers and dryers clean and affordable. Need credit cards to use. Easy.No breakfast but not an issue for us.Cons this earned a 1 rating. No housekeeping unless requested. Ok we requested. We only requested fresh towels and trash to be emptied on our 3rd day. That night, we found that it wasnt done. We called but realized that one of us put the no service sign on the door. So, ok can you please do this tomorrow. Yes was the response and we made sure sign was off the door. So next night we return to find that nothing was done. I went to the office where the night clerk and supervisor told me that both the housekeeping staff (and it was CONFIRMED by the housekeeping supervisor) said that we had pets in our room. NOT! I explained we had 5 people (3 were kids) and no pets. They INSISTED that we had PETS! I asked WHAT KIND OF PETS, DOGS, CATS??? They did not know. STRIKE 1!I asked sarcastically if they checked the correct room, if they had let someones animal in our room, let someone in our room (one of the reviewers, Carina d, stated that it had happened during her stay), or had a rat infestation, or were on drugs. I asked if it was a made up excuse not to clean that day. See blatant lying really angers me.I asked that the manager call me in the morning. Now morning of day 5, we ask the front desk clerk for the manager. Told us manager does not come in until 930. So we ask for the housekeeper and his/her supervisor. They were off today, convenient. Alex (nametag said assistant -tape over something- manager) comes out from the office. She said that we had pets and they couldnt clean the room. What and how many pets? No one knew? She couldnt come to the room with us. We said fine, we are leaving in 5 min. She said that they could not clean with pets. STRIKE 2! She finally agreed to check after we left for the day. Came back that night. Room finally had fresh towels and trash was emptied. After 8 nights we check out. Printed bill showed $250 PET FEE! So clerk got to hear the entire story. She said “they had found pets in our room.” STRIKE 3! NOT! Told her that we had a long conversation with Alex. Poor girl goes into the office, returning tells us she would take the fee off.We should not have had to deal with this. I get some people lie. We do not. Our 4 fur babies (3 large dogs and 1 cat) were with an expensive but reliable sitter. A “sorry for the misunderstanding” apology from the supervisor or manager would have given them a 4 rating. It never showing on our bill would have helped too. We typically leave a $10 -20 tip for housekeeper especially after 8 nights. We left nothing for them here. We just left a hotel in AZ after 5 nights and left $10. Customer service is an important thing.
Positive: It was a reasonably priced one bedroom with a kitchen available within walking distance of Disney. It worked for the impromptu trip we took. Negative: We were placed in a room right next to the smoking area. We didn¿t realize it was across the street from the fire department, no breakfast service and no mini store available, all without price deduction. Probably won¿t stay here again.
I’ve stayed at this hotel quite a few times over the years and it WAS a go-to location for myself and family. We stayed 3 nights last week and will NOT be staying ever again! The front desk girl was rude and not helpful upon arrival. No breakfast or reduced price due to it…makes me very upset!! I had 7 of us staying there and had I known it wasn’t available we would not have booked here. Yes they’re making updates but it’s still run down a bit. Mold and peeling paint and hard beds. Also no fire log offered as it should be like we’ve had on other stays here. Part of the reason we’ve booked this hotel has been having a fireplace too. The Residence Inn down the street offers a nicer hotel all together!!!extremely disappointed in this stay! I don’t usually leave reviews but feel this one is necessary!!
Friendy staff. Clean modern rooms. Quiet, we could barely hear commotion from outside or from other guests. Comfortable beds. Room service didnt come in our entire 5 days which I found peculiar but it also wasnt needed. Im sure it would have been no problem if wed requested cleaning.
We had planned extensively on how the hotel would work. Their website was not updated to tell their guests that major construction was going on. This construction caused the breakfast to be discontinued. We had to go get our own food. THEY STILL CHARGED US. Also the location of the hotel is nice but its to close to the park to get trams and to far away that it makes a long walk especially after a full day of walking in the parks. Lastly constantly cleans of the rooms are stopped and with us having to make food for days the smell builds up. But dont get me wrong the staff is amazing and there is a pool.
First glance its perfect for a large party. Full kitchen, king bed, 2 queen and pull out sofa. 2 bathrooms. Clean. Heated pool. We were able to check in early. Close to Disney...a shuttle to and from Disney, Everything a family would need. However it would appear that these were one time apartments turned into hotel. I am not certain but it seems some are still apartments as the parking area had cars on jacks, a semi parked and no visible security. At night it sounded like you were living in an alley with people yelling and scream outdoors. So we definitely didnt get any rest. Our room had a fishy smell when we first came in. Im glad I brought air freshener. For the price Id rather reserve to rooms in am actual hotel so my family can get a good night sleep and feel safe. BTW..my husband woke up to this HUGE spider on the wall. He killed it and Im posting the picture with his hand Im comparison.
The front lobby was under construction and I was not aware of this prior to my arrival. Im not sure why that wasnt communicated prior to check-in. I found that a bit annoying, not to mention that the construction also impacted the free breakfast. Had this stay included my extended family that would have been a deal breaker. Parking was challenging at times for the side of the hotel our room was located but it was quiet and overall we had a pleasant experience.
We recently had a family trip to Disneyland and choose this Hotel thru our Costco travel package. We stayed 4 nights and the first 3 were nothing out of the ordinary. We were told that there is almost no daily housekeeping, but supplies and cleaning can be provided if needed. I assumed they were short handed with employees and storage with there remodeling that was going on. I totally understood and wasnt too big of a deal for me. We noticed a few chips and candy under the sofa and ottoman, but still no complaints, i get it. However, our last night there, we noticed a great deal of ants crawling on the bed... not just a few, but ALOT of ants. I called the front desk and they did everything to take care of the situation. We transferred to a new and bigger room at 10p at night. was a bit of a headache but the staff did what they could to help us out. I really thought this place would be great and seems like it would if they were fully staffed. I am pretty understanding of their situation but I wish i had known what i was getting into beforehand.Pros: great location, friendly staff, clean outside, AC/Heat work great and fastCons: limited housekeeping staff, WIFI was down most of the time, ANTS.
We booked this hotel on Expedia since it was listed as pet friendly. When we went there, we were told by the receptionist that starting Jan 1 it’s not pet friendly. We had to find another hotel at 11pm at night. So disappointed with both Expedia and the hotel. This it NOT a PET friendly hotel.
It was a beautiful hotel for a large family. We got the bi loft. Only complaint was that the room wasnt fully clean or check. There was very little trash still left behind the wall seat and a ray ban sunglasses left behind from previous renter. But its quiet place and Ill be returning.
The front desk staff were so friendly, and what we saw of the room and property were clean and well maintained. We had an unrelated incident and ended up having to leave within an hour of checking in, and they were so gracious. We will definitely be picking them for our makeup trip.
This is our go to hotel. They are all incredibly accommodating, and do what they can to make your your needs are met. And for those that they arent able to, they are sincere in listening to your concerns, as well still trying to find a way to accommodate you. They are centralized by everything in a short distance. The rooms are clean. Comfortable and beautiful. Also bonus, they have a full kitchen.
Love it. They provide a full kitchen with full size fridge, dishes, pots and pans, toaster, coffee pot, huge microwave, blow dryer, paper towels, a full stove with oven, and my favorite of all is the dishwasher. They even give dish soap and soap for the dishwasher. This combined with the beauty and the friendliness of the staff makes it a wonderful place to stay.
Honestly disappointed. It’s not worth their hefty price. We stayed in a loft which was generally pretty nice but they didn’t clean it that well as we found single hairs in a few places (shower, back of pillow). They also had an issue with their wifi where (once I finally could connect) it would cut in and out, connecting and disconnecting over and over again. We thankfully only stayed one night but for the price paid and the high $350 deposit with NO BREAKFAST STILL, it’s not worth the money to stay here. Pick somewhere else. They also had no excuse for not having breakfast after all this time and just said that it’s complementary so it’s “not included in the price” despite it being listed as still provided on EVERY website from Google to their own and being a primary reason people might choose their hotel. Just disappointed we could have paid $100 less and gone to a way cheaper option that would have been equally as bad of an experience or maybe even a better experience.
When I booked, website said they serve breakfast. I show up and the guy at counter says they’re not serving breakfast. I told him in the website when i booked it said you did. He tells me the site was updated over a year ago. I show him the top of their google listing that says “free breakfast”. He looks at me with a blank face like it’s my fault. If there is no breakfast included that’s fine. But I booked this hotel partially because of breakfast. If they didn’t have breakfast. I would have went somewhere else. Bad experience. Won’t be back.
Positive: The location was great. Negative: Under construction to start with, that info was not provided prior to booking. Got there and there was a non-refundable pet deposit. How can it be a deposit if it is non-refundable? Then housekeeping knocks at 8:45 am check out is 11. Also charged parking
I will update it after the stay. First impressions, not impressed.Their mobile browser specifies maximum of 2 parking passes per suite. According to them, the website specificies the room that it’s applicable to, but not the mobile version. I build websites for a living, your mobile site should be an exact condensed version of browser. They don’t accept touchless pay, which is odd. You’re not serving breakfast etc I’m assuming because of Covid but you don’t allow touchless pay. Alright. It’s also inconvenient to get to hotel registrations.
Our first room was filthy. Behind the Couch there was a nest of bugs and not sure what else. I have pictures. My daughter had bites that blistered. No hot water. Then we get moved to another where it has fleas. This hotel is not clean and did not care about the issues we were having
Great hotel. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, room service was very thorough, and the complementary breakfast was pretty good. The rooms are very nice, they dont give off a cozy, homie feel, but thats just my opinion. The hotel is only about a 20-30 minute walk away from Disneyland, but do be careful if you have the ART bus pass, cause most of the time, the bus driver will pass the bus stop at the hotel.
We were very pleased with our stay. Very close to Disneyland, close to shopping and freeway entrance. Plenty of parking available. The room was clean, quiet and had a kitchen. We did notice fan in bathroom was loud and heater was noisy but I understand that they will be doing renovations soon. Not a huge deal for us at all. We did not do the breakfast so we cant comment on that. We definitely enjoyed our stay and will come back next time we come to Disney.
MY ROOM WAS BROKEN INTO ON MY ONE NIGHT STAY HERE. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I returned from my day trip to disney to spend the night at this hotel. I previously checked in earlier in the day at 2 pm and left my belongings on the bed (Thank god i had packed all my valuables in my backpack) I returned to my room at 10 pm and my keycard, which previously worked, is no longer working. The front desk issued a replacement card and i then enter my room, notice the “DO NOT DISTURB SIGN” was taken off the front door. Which is not like housekeeping to do - they follow the instructions. Once i enter my room- i see another mans clothing on top of my clothing. At this point I am shaking, disgusted, scared and dash out of the room in fear there is someone else in the room. Once I run to the front desk- they have no answers for me. Just rehearsed answers AS IF THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME. After having AN INVASION of privacy- someone breaking into my room while I was gone- The front desk agent offers me a different room. Do you think that is the appropriate response to a break in?, after my trust is violated, and i feel unsafe staying here (another man was inside my room, with my belongings, clothing on the bed, his clothes on top) I had to request my refund after going back and forth between the third party website i finally got my refund, and now it’s 1 am and I am forced to just drive home at this point. First red flag of this place is they couldn’t find my reservation and stated it was booked for a different day (when That was not true- my reservation stated the CORRECT date) Second red flag- all the crackheads in the parking lot. I’m beyond upset because i need answers as to how this invasion of privacy, and break-in happens! This hotel is lucky that none of my valuables were inside that room! DO NOT TRUST THIS HOTEL!!!
First time staying at this hotel and I really enjoyed it! All of the rooms come equipped with a kitchen and a sofa bed, which is great. The breakfast had a wide variety of options and the staff was friendly. The walk to Disneyland is not bad - it only took us about 15 minutes to get to the gate (I’ve certainly stayed farther away and still walked!). There is also a bus that can pick you up at the hotel, although we didn’t use it.Overall I was really impressed with this hotel and would happily stay there again for a future Disney vacation!
Our family truly enjoyed our stay with Clementine Hotel and Suites. They have a great staff and the service was amazing. Our room was set up perfectly and kept clean daily. It had a very home like feel to it. The breakfast was very filling. We loved the BBQ area with a fire pit and other amenities . It was very relaxing after numerous days at Disneyland. We are a tough family to please and this was everything and more!
I would say half the rooms are clean, half are disgustingly dirty. It is the luck of the draw which one you get. The front desk staff are unprofessionally rude and will raise their voices at clients; especially Dora and the night auditor. The furniture has stains and cigarette holes everywhere but the rooms are not inspected and often overlooked if you have a California ID. It is against federal law to hide or tamper with peoples mail and packages. They will discriminate against you even though you have tracking for your package; they will tell you it is not there and that you should get a p.o. box.
Not a bad place to stay to save some money staying near Disney. The shuttle takes you there in just 10 minutes or you can safely walk it in 15-20.Marriott just sold this place to the new owners, so well see what kind of updates they make. It is a bit dated in style, but the complementary daily buffet breakfast was stellar. The setup is condo/villa-style so youve got your own place next to a couple others. Didnt hear anything from the neighbors so feeling of having your own place was nice too.
I dont write reviews ever. To be honest this might be my first review. However, I will not book ANYTHING without reading a good amount of the reviews. First off I just want to say THANK YOU MARIO. I snuck outside on the gorgeous patio during a (very delicious) breakfast to try to sneak some school work in. Mario was already running around inside taking care of everyone, but made it a point to come outside, take my plates, refill my coffee (many times), get someone to turn on the heaters for me, and then also pointed me to where there is a computer room if the patio was still to loud for me. I dont know how much Mario makes, but this sweet, caring, attentive man deserves a raise!Mario aside, the whole experience here was outstanding. There is shuttle that takes you to Disneyland. The front desk literally spent 30 minutes with us completely explaining all the different Disneyland packages (yes we WERE Disneyland newbies). The rooms where absolutely amazing, and the overall service could not be better.
My husband and I stayed here for the last trip to Disneyland with our season passes and it was definitely the best place weve stayed yet. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were all super friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. It was also close enough to the main gate that it was an enjoyable 10-15 walk but there is also the shuttle option that departs from the parking lot, should you choose to pay for that option. It is very reasonably priced and has a real homey feel because its not just a big tall hotel, its more like condos. We will definitely be staying here for all future visits.
I cannot say enough good things about this hotel!! The property is absolutely beautiful! The outside as well as the inside. Everything was clean and spacious! Pool and hot tub open 24 hours!!!!! Breakfast was tasty and different every day. But the thing that made this property stand out was the staff! Oh my goodness they made us feel so at home and seemed genuinely happy to do so. We stay at many many Marriott properties and have never had this experience!! So thank you Residence Inn we enjoyed every minute!
Positive: The newly updated room and how large it was Negative: The deposit is extremely ridiculous Plus you have to pay for parking Nearly 900$ for one suite for one night and you get 350 back but that takes from the experience and the pool is way to small for this hotel
This is my second time staying here and my friends and I love it. The staff is always very friendly and they have been accommodating enough to allow very early check-in. Each room has a well equipped small kitchen and super cozy beds (the sofa bed is a bit stiff though). The rooms have been very clean both of our stays. The location was convenient for our Disneyland trip since we could leave our car and just walk. There is a REAL breakfast, not just donuts and coffee. The fire station across the street can be loud but we only heard it once on just one of the nights.
Nice place, well kept. 15 walk to Disneyland. Continental breakfast was very good. Employees very respectful. The only negative happened on the day we were departing. A knock on our door early in the morning asked if we were departing and at what time. This was approximately 8:30, when check out is at 11:00. Very unusual.
Looks online are deceiving, there is a 500 dollar cash deposit, the water took forever to get warm but never got hot , the carpets need to be replaced. The staff was very nice but the price I paid to stay in this place was way too much for what I got. This place is over priced. If they are going to charge this much then they need to update everything. I had to complain due to repairs being done at 6:30 in the morning in the unit beneath us, the loud noise and hammering woke us and no one wants to deal with that while on vacation, once I came and saw the place I was ready to return home , this was not the vacation I was looking for. I wouldn’t recommend no one paying as much as I did to stay there and me and my family won’t be returning to this hotel ever. Over priced, not worth your money...... once again the staff was great.
After a ten hour drive and late night arrival with my five kids, the Clementine Hotel was kind enough to make me stand at their $15 atm, making multiple withdrawals until I reached the $500 cash deposit they force you to pay at check in. This probably would’ve been a bad experience, except for the fact that we were able to follow it up with nice cold showers back at the room! Also we generally hate clean linens, so the Clementine was nice enough to provide bedding and towels with random stains all over it. If you enjoy aggravation and being grossed out, we highly recommend the Clementine in Anaheim!Update: I figured it out. This place is just a dumpy run down apartment complex that keeps a few units open for hotel use cause they can charge a ton for the units. Almost all the positive reviews are from when this was a legit hotel under different owners.
I cannot say enough about the staff, they were amazing. The breakfast service was excellent with lots of options, and healthy choices, but also some very delicious home cooked items! The room was very comfortable, clean, but could use some small updates. The price was the best however, no other hotel had anything for a family of 6, that could compare, and it was well worth it. We took advantage of the amenities which are well maintained. We would go back here as soon as we can afford it again.
Amazing layout, beautiful grounds. Convenient for Disney Land with bus easy access to the park every 10 minutes and provision of a kitchen is perfect for families. They will go get groceries and drop them in your room for you. Only issue is lack or kitchen utensils to cook with available and no bacon for breakfast. Staff are awesome super friendly and helpful. Worth staying and great experience, definitely coming back to this place.
Located half a mile from Disneyland Resort, and 5 minutes from Anaheim Gardenwalk. Staff was friendly and quick to assist with any requests. Parking is a bit challenging, depending on time of day probably wont find space near your room, but luggage carts are available. Room was nice, but space in some area was questionable. Example - door in bathroom barely squeezed past toilet, and outside balcony would not accommodate our family of 5. Kitchen unit was useful with full size fridge, microwave. Dishwasher was very noisy, recommend run it when you go out to the parks. Breakfast service in mornings was great with plenty of variety. Biggest issue was hot water for showers, very limited, recommend going first before rest of family. Overall very happy with the accommodations.
Did not get the chance to stay here because it was too far from where we will actually be in Soal & when I found this out Alexa helped me cancel with ease and no fees even though it stated I would have 1! It is people like her who make it easy for us travelers when we already have anxiety’s due to travel and other sorts to begin with! I really appreciate her kindness & efficiency go help me & find a solution when the site I booked on said there would be a fee! This hotel is a YES for me anytime I’m in the area & the staff is great! Alexa you are awesome!
Room is clean and neat and perfect for our four person family. Breakfast was good as well, a little crowded, but good. Its right by Disney, and have some Disney themed things, so if youre going to Disney its a good place to consider. We had an event at the Anaheim Convention Center, the walk was perfect for us. All kinds of great restaurants in the area, we enjoyed our stay.
2 BR 2 story units are very nice. Our family loved the space and privacy. Walking distance to restaurants and Disney. Felt safe even returning at 1am. Staff was very friendly and helpful to any requests. The breakfast had a good selection but gets crowded just prior to Disneys opening; not surprising. The heated pool and hot tub were relaxing (Open 24 hours). The laundromat was at the pool rear door. Very convenient. This will be our go to place whenever we are in the area.
The staff was super friendly the whole time, our rooms were very comfortable and with plenty of space for the whole group. Breakfast was pretty basic but surprisingly good for the quality you would expect in a buffet. We didnt have the chance to use the pool but it looked real nice and clean. We would definitely stay again for our next visit to Disneyland.
I love this hotel is so close to Disneyland and it is reasonably priced. Breakfast is 7-9:30 During the week and 7-10 on the weekend. The staff is nice and courteous. I mean this with all honesty it is just as close to walk from this hotel as it is to park in the parking lot and walk to the front of the park. Not the closest hotel but definitely close enough.
The room was amazing and very clean. Short walk to Disney. Staff is awesome and very accommodating to their guests. After listening to a screaming baby on our airplane there the night person gave us a bottle of wine on the house at check in to help me relax and unwind. We never felt like we were bothering them when we would ask any member of the staff for anything. The breakfast is amazing its a hot breakfast every morning they have many options and it changes from day to day. We had a full kitchen in our room and it was well stocked like my kitchen at home with cookware and dishes and glassware. The bed was super comfy. You can do laundry there and the pool and hot tub are open 24/7. The main thing that I absolutely love the most is that our plane was not leaving until later that afternoon the day we were checking out and they were able to keep our luggage for us as well as use the hotels amenities until we left. We have never stayed anywhere that had such amazing staff who were so accommodating to us even after checkout time they still treated us amazing. We are already planning on staying there again for next years Disney trip.
This has been the best hotel we have stayed at while at Disneyland. The rooms are clean and quiet. The service has been wonderful. We called a few times and had someone show up within a couple minutes. The breakfast is actually filling with a ton of options. We will definitely stay here again!
It would have been 4 stars for the big/clean rooms and free parking, if it were not for the rudest front desk guy (bigger one working Wednesday afternoon), who refused to call housekeeping for a bandaid when I was alone with my 2 year old daughter who needed one. Only posting about this publicly because I emailed them about it and didn’t get a response.
Highly recommend! The room is clean and comfortable, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the complimentary hot breakfast buffet is fantastic! Great proximity to Disneyland, California Adventure and restaurants. Our stay was 11/16/17 -11/19/17. Thankfully have one more night.
We really enjoyed our stay. The breakfasts were delicious and included a meat, eggs, oatmeal, breads, fruit, yogurt, waffles and more! After a rainy day at Disneyland we relaxed in the pool and jacuzzi and used the washer and dryer so we would have dry clothes for the next day. The property is arranged so that each room seems like an apartment. To top it off it was an outstanding value! Oh and did I mention our room had a fireplace and a complete kitchen?!? I highly recommend the clementine!
Bug investation and hotel doesn’t take responsibility. I’m still here, the room they wanted to transfer us to was also disgustingly dirty. I have asked the cleaners three times to clean and they do not clean well at all.But the roaches are the worst. This morning I woke up and there were 20+ German roaches in the sink on the kitchen counter, a lot of the floor and on the wall.I have called about this and the hotel is not taking responsibility
What a find! We are so happy to have found the Clementine, and will be returning any time were in the area.We found the service at the Clementine to be second to none. Every staff member we interacted with was both friendly and helpful (but Mario tops them all ... thanks Mario!)The one bedroom suite we stayed in was spacious and well maintained. It was perfect for our family of four. The quality of the housekeeping service was some of the best weve experienced, they really do a wonderful job here. The location was great, just an easy 10 minute walk from the Disney parks and the Gardenwalk right across the street. The grounds were very well appointed and maintained. Great pool & hot tub!All in all, we had a wonderful stay at the Clementine and would recommend it to anyone we know who will be in a area.
Fantastic hotel that Ive been staying at for years. Its about a 10-15 min walk to the security line at Disneyland. They offer the best breakfast of any nearby hotel, have huge 2 level suites for many guests that feature a mini kitchen, and a hot tub open for many hours. Soon they are doing a remodel and it will make this place even better. It used to be a Marriot and they sold it off, probably to make the massive hotel across the street. I always stay here and its always been kind to me. Enjoy~
Great location to Disneyland, about a 10 minute walk pushing strollers. Probably quicker without. Rooms were adequate, little dated and bed wasnt the comfiest but I was the only one who thought so in my party. Kitchen was well stocked and ready to use. Definitely would stay here again.
Nice and clean, comfortable. Breakfast buffet was great...loved the pool area. They have a kiddy pool. Entire stay was awesome. Room was great.. Lots of room and clean. Staff is excellent. Bus stop to Disney is right on the property. Will be staying again in a couple of months.
I absolutely Love this hotel!! So much that I hate to have it get even busier. However, they (the staff & hotel) deserve the recognition. Ive stayed here a couple times. Its my go to place for Disneyland/California Adventure. Although, I would stay here if I was in Anaheim for any reason. The rooms we were in this time are 511 & 512. Theyre located in the front of the property. Its a bit noisy (street side) but close to the ART bus pick up which is a plus. 512 could use bit of general maintenance (its slightly worn & starting to show its age). They are clean which is Huge in my book! Ill overlook a few things if my room is clean. The complimentary breakfast is wonderful! Not the typical muffins/banana routine like some hotels. Besides- you have a FULL kitchen in your room. Simply amazing!! The hotel has a small (on site) store for emergency rations or you can even have your room stocked if you have dietary restrictions. Great added bonus!! If you can handle stairs request an upstairs unit. These rooms are like appartments and lots of little (or big) people overhead can be loud. Cant say it enough- the staff is Amazing!!! Over all Fabulous experience every time! We are already planning next years trip to stay at Clementine Hotel & Suites.
In walking distance of Disneyland but still a good 10-15 minute walk. ART shuttle also comes every 20 minutes. Good sized rooms with full kitchens, that are fairly clean (a solid 3 star place). Good for larger parties/families. Excellent staff and good complimentary breakfast. Although two major negatives were there was a dripping noise behind a locked closet whenever the air conditioning was running and our room had mosquitos (inside) that was very annoying / bothersome (got a lot of bites).
The housekeepers and maintenance seriously care about this place. Im a director of housekeeping at a prestigious hotel and their standards here are on point. They had a dinner for the employees when we were here - and take good care of everyone from their guests to their employees. We stayed two days and it was very clean and so luxurious for a fair price on vacation. 9/10 would recommend
We stayed in a two bedroom room. We had a kitchen and dining room, full size fridge and freezer. Every morning we were served a wonderful complimentary breakfast, with eggs, meat, several different breads, and cereals, in the lobby. The staff was very friendly, there is a huge pool outside available too. Everything was clean and well maintained. We will definitely stay here again!
Comfortable beds, fantastic service, great breakfasts, unique rooms, and easy access to the Disney Parks. If youre on vacation to Disneyland? This is one of the best hotels to stay at in my opinion. The service was exemplary, as they worked tirelessly to fix some of the issues we had with booking. Very human, very kind people running this place. Loved staying there.
The rooms here are very comfortable! My family of five stayed over on the weekend and we had a great time. The room was very spacious and we each had somewhere we could be without disturbing the others, and places were we could all hang out together. The only low point was maybe breakfast, since the buffet area was usually very crowded and it was difficult to navigate. Most people didnt know how to use the waffle machines, so it was a whos who of whose is that waffle and whose waffle is burning right now. However! This is not enough reason to take away a star. Hotels are not responsible for the poor understanding of the waffle machines by their guests.
Very nice older hotel. Full breakfast. Loft area got hot so borrowed a fan. No elevator for 2nd floor. Excellent cleaning ladies who work very hard and are so pleasant. About a 15 minute walk to Disneyland. Bus is $5.50 per person age 10 and older. Seniors $2. Parking difficult at Disneyland. We didnt try it.
Always stay here when I go to Disneyland and always love it. The rooms are always very clean and comfortable, the staff is always friendly and courteous and the complimentary breakfast is so good! They have tons of breakfast options and its always very organised and delicious. Love staying here! Its also pretty close to Disneyland
Nice place, friendly people. You can tell the buildings were built a while ago but they updated the bathrooms with modern appliances. Theres a breakfast buffet with the usual American fare: eggs, bagels, toast, waffles, fruit, coffee, werid sausage things . The pool is open 24/7 and there is a pool. Disneyland is about a 15 minute walk. I enjoyed my time here
The hotel room is clean and the staff are friendly. The free breakfast buffet is exactly what is needed to start the day, and changes from day to day. The distance to Disneyland is about 10 minutes walking. Excellent choice if you are coming to Disney. Also, they sell the lanyards in their shop for less then they sell them and they are a must for multiple day Disney vacations.
Staff is wonderful willing to help and friendly, outstanding full breakfast that changes daily, rooms are very clean and the kitchenette was nice to have even though we didnt use it. Its a 15 min walk to Disneyland or you can take a $3 per person bus to the entrance of Disneyland but the walk was safe and kinda nice. Nearby mall (house of blues, a killer meat restaurant (best burger ever) night clubs and bowling alley) gave us all the entertainment we need outside of Disney. Happy we picked this hotel and will be back. Questions message me I will be happy to help.
Nice rooms. Clean. There was everything we needed in the room, except we needed to call housekeeping to get a blanket for the pull out couch/bed. The walk to Disney parks was 15 minutes, and safe and easy, if we recall correctly, the same as Paradise Pier. Though, walking home after a long day in the park, i wished we had been at one of the hotels across the street from Disney. The breakfasts were decent, but I have had better.Room: 5 stars (clean, comfortable)Proximity: 4 stars (close, but not as close as others)Breakfast: 3 stars (decent, but not anything to praise)So, I average it out to 4 stars today.
Our favorite place to stay when we go to Disneyland. We have stayed at the 1 bedroom suite and the bi-level loft. Both rooms were great. We like this place most because of the buffet breakfast which is included in the accommodation price. Its about a 15 minute walk to Disneyland. They have a shuttle that can take you to Disneyland as well but it costs about $5 per person. Will definitely stay here again.
Overall a fantastic choice for our familys Disney trip . We had the suites, they are like apartments with two bedrooms, 2 baths, living room, and a small but full kitchen. We slept 8 people on those rooms very comfortably! The staff was awesome - extremely helpful and accommodating. Fantastic customer service. Parking is free which is a plus. One small con with this is that the parking lot does get a bit busy so you may not get a spot close to your room but for us it wasnt a huge deal. Super close to Disneyland - most of us walked without a problem. They also offer shuttles for a very reasonable price which a few people in the group took and were happy with. There is a free breakfast buffet which I was impressed with - more than just toast and yogurt! Great food, honestly. Yes it does get a little busy later in the morning but there was always room and always food. The ONLY thing I didnt like about this place was the shower. Old shower heads, very low pressure, and finicky temperature knob. Everything else truly was great. Oh and there is a super awesome Disney lady in the lobby that will help you buy tickets there (which you can load into your phone), give you maps, birthday pins if you have birthdays, and help you with the shuttle stuff. Well definitely be staying with them again! Great choice for a hotel!
Very close to Disney! ART operates shuttle to Disney land parks every 20 mins. Tickets for the shuttle can be bought at Disney desk inside the hotel. Very convenient and highly recommend it! Breakfast buffet is excellent! Varied choices with high quality food served! Very pleased with the service staff at the buffet. They even allow the breakfast to be taken back to the room. They have a mini market inside the hotel which houses essential items like milk, juice, snacks etc. we have a 20-month old baby who started crying for milk around 2 am. We did not realize that we ran out of milk until we opened the fridge. I ran across to the check-in desk and grabbed a whole milk in the middle of the night at 2 am! My wife could not believe they had this 24-hour market facility with emergency items!! Daily room cleaning service is excellent! The even attend to the dishes in the sink which we did not expect of them. Overall a very pleasant stay and we will definetely come back to stay here!!! Thank you!!!
Fantastic hotel! The staff was amazing, the breakfasts had a verity, and the rooms are well taken care of! In walking distance to Disneyland, but we took the Art shuttle, which is on a short bus route, 5 stops, and its the third stop. We would definitely stay here again!
About a 20 min walk to Disney, but worth it. The room when you open door had a tough smell but tolerable. When we arrived they had a sweet message and a bag with goodies, complimentary, which I thought was very nice. Costumer service at front desk was very nice aswell. We were lend a basketball to play in their court. Very quiet too. My only down side was that the chimney was not electric so you had to buy the wood. Kitchen is fully stock and ready to use.
My family enjoyed our stay at the Residence Inn. The continental breakfast is the best Ive had before. The suite was great. All staff was welcoming and helpful. We loved the park on site, though we didnt have time to enjoy the pool (it looked nice). It was close enough to walk to Disneyland, though a bit of a long walk if you needed to go back and forth to the hotel during the day. The only real downside was the size of the penthouse suite was a bit smaller than expected. I will likely stay here on my next visit.
Great place to stay for a large group of 7. Our penthouse suite was conveniently located only a short walk from the breakfast buffet area and pool. The pull out bed in the sofa was pretty squeaky, and the top bedroom doesnt have a door, so earplugs came in handy the second night. Also, there was a bit of construction outside early in the morning, as well as sirens...not an issue though with my earplugs in. This is the first time Ive ever seen brie in a breakfast buffet! Even scrambled eggwhites! We had lots of food items to choose from and the kids seemed happy. Disneyland was about a 12 minute walk from our site. This pool was pretty nice--heated, and even had a little kidie pool of about 1 1/2 feet deep. I was pretty impressed that the hotel even had water noodles and a beach ball stocked, ready for the kids. The hot tub was quite soothing after all the walking we did at the parks. Great stay. We will return!😁
All in all, a great hotel to stay at when visiting Disney with the family. The resort bus pick-up from inside the hotel grounds. Also, surprisingly, the rooms are quiet. The location is pretty good, but a tad far for walking distance if you have younger kids. You can certainly walk to things, but there are many more hotels that a closer.I took off 1 star as the rooms are a little dated, the bathroom is small, and there are no USB chargers in the room.Overall, the hotel is convenient, reasonably priced, includes breakfast; we would stay here again.
I liked that deposit per night was only $20.00I like that this place feels more like living in an apartment than a hotel. Staff was friendly. The room was comfortable. I had a queen studio suite. It had a nice flat screen tv mounted on the wall. The kitchen is great! Regular sized fridge, microwave, stove and a dishwasher. The kitchen comes stocked with plates, cups, bowls, silverware, toaster Its a nice size and you even get a fireplace. You must bring a duraflame log. There was a couch bed as well. One side of the property has been upgraded while the other half is almost done.Theres a BBQ area with a few bbq and a fire pit. Pool and a basketball or tennis court cant remember.. Theres a mini park for kids. Inside the office there a mini store to buy a few basic needs. Wine, beer, drinks snacks etc..You can walk to a few restaurants on one corner is Jersey Mikes, California fish grill, hawaiian ono, Luna grill, habit burger, starbucks, yogurt land.Across the street is a laundromat, gas station, donut/smoothie place, Eatalia Pizza, liquor store called Magicland plus a few others. On the other corner is 711.A block down the road is Cheesecake factory, PF Changs and a bunch of other nicer restaurants at the garden walk. You also have two pharmacies down the road. All within walking distance. Close to the freeways as well.
A very nice place to stay in Anaheim - very spacious and homely atmosphere. Disneyland is just 10 minutes walking distance away. The place sports many types of residential facilities - studio, single room, suites etc. It has its own eating place serving Buffet breakfast - and that helps a lot. There are free to use barbecue joints, fireplaces, swimming pool, play area etc. Ample space for parking helps too - may not be always very near to your room location but still is ok for a small walk of 100 steps. Housekeeping is great too. Overall experience - very comfortable
Weve stayed here several times in the past few years. Very accommodating for large groups or families. I have even seen pets here too! Great staff and apartment style rooms. 2 bedrooms available. Kitchens and fireplaces too! Close to theme park and walking distance to convention center. Its a walk but save $$ on parking fees . Could even walk to Disney but its a good trek. Quiet at night even if its next to a fire station.
Location is a half-mile from the Disneyland Resort entrance; from here, one may easily reach Disneyland via purchase-required shuttle buses with a stop adjacent the hotel, or by way of a moderately-paced 10-minute walk. The room is clean, spacious and quiet, and well-appointed with a kitchen area (sink, dishwasher, refrigerator). One complaint: The bathroom shower head is positioned somewhat low; Im 5 10 and need to bend and lean into getting my head wet, a minor nuisance. Housekeeping has been great. In our reservation, we requested a crib and they delivered a pack-and-play; upon attempting to assemble it much later in the evening, we noticed some defect not allowing proper assembly. It was after midnight, but we called down to the front desk and within minutes a functioning replacement was delivered, along with a sincere apology for the first one. And I havent even mentioned the lovely breakfast buffet, complimentary to hotel guests. Overall, very positive experience. Would happily return for our next trip.
Decent hotel with about a 15 minute walk to Disneyland. The rooms are split up into multiple buildings, apartment complex style. Our room had 3 beds: two queens downstairs, one king upstairs. Unfortunately the upstairs room isnt very isolated from the downstairs living space, so its difficult to get the dark and quiet needed for our 2 year old to get the sleep he needs when others in the family are still awake. If you dont have little kids, this is less of an issue, obviously. Breakfast is quite good and staff are attentive.
I’m a Platinum Marriott Member. I’m on the road 100+ nights a year. Unfortunately this hotel has been one of my least favorite stays. I was working in LA and the family traveled with me for 5 days at Disneyland. The bed and pillows are terrible. I woke up with neck, head and back pain all week. The rooms are dated. It’s a significant walk to the park. The breakfast was nearly inedible. The only redeeming quality of this hotel was the room we had was a bi-level suite that had 2 queens and a king in the loft. The pool is open 24 hrs, however the hot tub is very small. On multiple nights it was full and we were unable to use it. The Residence Inn Convention Center is a much better property. Newer, better food, much better accommodations and you won’t wake up feeling less rested than when you sent to sleep.
Good sized room even for three adults and one girl. Very convenient location to Disney and Cheesecake factory. We were happy with a kitchen in the room--with an ice machine, cups, dishes, and folks, etc. Having a laundry room was a plus. We stayed on the first floor and did hear upstairs noise. I guess some kids jumped off the bed at night and it was annoying, but that was the only thing we were concerned during our stay. Very nice hotel!
You can tell the buildings and rooms here are decades old. The room had very old looking carpet, closets, stairs and other features. The outside, however, has a very nice look, and it seems more like youre staying in an apartment rather than a hotel. The location is fairly convenient with quick access to main roads. Would be a good place to stay for a Disneyland visit.
Great breakfast - the woman who runs it is so amazingly sweet. Roomy rooms - but the bathrooms could use a real update because the water pressure sucked and the shower was so small (my only negative point). Friendly employees - everyone seems genuinely happy working here. I wish I got the chance to use the pool. Will most likely be back.
Beautiful place, the suite with kitchen is good for our special food needs. Air conditioning is really appreciated. The bus shuttle to & from Disneyland is really convenient & cheap. People in the Inn and especially housekeeping people are so happy, polite and helpful. Andy helped us get our early check-in that was so appreciated after our long flight. Robert & Carole Vale from Melbourne Australia.
Beautiful grounds, so many conveniences, it made our entire Disneyland trip so much easier. The pool, laundry room, breakfast, bus stop for going to Disneyland, the staff all made it worth the cost. We saved so much money on food by having a room with a kitchen! We just came back and ate there and recharged.
One of the best Residence Inns. The breakfast buffet is well above average with waffles and chocolate croissants that are amazing. The hot tub is open 24hrs which is a big plus if you are at Disneyland all day. The rooms are converted apartments from yesteryear but are ample and in great shape. Plus you can have a real fire in the fireplace! Location is walking distance from Disneyland of course. Cant beat it.
Great breakfast, big variety. The constantly were refilling everything to keep it stocked the best they can. Very comfortable, clean, and well stocked room. An older property, but well kept. Pool is heated, yet still quite chilly (visited in May though, Im sure its great in the summer). We had an issue in the room, but its our own fault we didnt complain till checkout (had a broken sleeper sofa which we needed but had unpacked with 3 kids (one fell ill) after being at the park all day and pizza delivery was on its way). Pretty quiet rooms. Large property so be prepared to walk a bit to your room from the parking lot. Sports court and playground seem fun, but hadnt used since we only stayed one night. Not too far from the park (D-land). I would NOT walk it, but when parking not at all an inconvenience. Lots of room options too. Hopefully we can find a great rate again next time we visit. Dont want to stay anywhere else if we dont have to.
Really Enjoyed our Stay!! With 3 kids its hard to find a really Family Friendly Hotel. The Employees were super Nice, THey had a Basketball court for my Oldest, Rooms were nice and Big. The Breakfast was amazing tons of Great food and Options. Planning another trip this summer and def will stay again. :)
We loved this place. Seriously walking distance to the park with the BEST continental breakfast. I dont think we will ever stay at any other place next time we come to Disney. The breakfast made it that much better, pig out at breakfast so you only have to worry about lunch and dinner at the parks. Win win
They only do the minimum nessary to keep the place open . Have seen people check in and 5 mins later they are in the pool wo regards to cleaning up first. Why mgmt does not care alexa and Beckley are in it for them selves. They stole my schedule 3 And 2 meds and say they are at the post office, from the safe in my room? How?Be ware they got mites and roaches fleas ,and a lawn care guy that blows all that into your room. Does he know what a lawnmower is and a lawn vacuum I dont think so.But its your call ,have fun sleeping and swimming in other peoples feces and insects.YOU WERE WARNEDPs mites are the size of a grain of sand!!!
2 bedroom suite same price as a single queen and the double queen our family was looking at. Instead of separate rooms, we all got to stay together and share a living room/kitchenette. Breakfast buffet had many options. The place is clean and quiet, walking distance to Disney parks and shopping. We had a great time.
Residence Inn is fine. Its a bit run down. The carpet and the furniture feels a bit dated. Its definitely a place Id keep my socks on when walking around. You can often feel the lumpy concrete subfloors. The hot breakfast buffet is good. There are a lot of options and the hot food is consistent. Its not a gourmet shop by any stretch, but the food is tasty and you have everything you need. The service is great and I really do enjoy breakfast there. All in all, not a bad place to stay when going to Disneyland. There are definitely better options, but for price and distance, its a solid option.
Location. Location. LOCATION!!! Close proximity to many shops, and eateries (walking distance). Stayed 1 night here for our trip to Disneyland. We loved the free breakfast. Breakfast buffet and dining area and poolside dining were nice and clean, and there was plenty to eat. Parking is free on site and first come first serve. We didnt have any problems finding a spot but can definitely see how it could be an issue depending on peak times. Our 1 Queen bed studio suite booked through a third party got upgraded to a 1 bedroom, 2 Queen suite. Which was great because I didnt want to share a bed with my sons. We checked bags around 10am before heading to the park since check-in wasnt until 3-4pm. The process was quick and efficient. When we returned later that night staff were friendly and gave great instructions to get to our suite and other useful information. Check out was simple and my security deposit was released within 24 hours, which is well before the 8 day processing time they quote you at checkout. We will definitely stay here again. But for parties larger than 2 people if youre going to Disney we recommend you pay $25 parking at the park and ride the Art bus from Disney parking to the park. The Art bus that comes to Clementine charges per person instead of a flat fee. All buses have similar routes and run from the park to the Disney parking lot until 11pm
If all you are looking for is a place close to Disneyland then this hotel is for you. Our actual room was terrible. Broken cabinets, dressers, toilet, and dishwasher. The seams of the flooring are coming apart causing major tripping hazards. The staff was nice enough but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel and won’t ever stay here again. Definitely not worth the cost.
For a relaxed, family stay, this is our favorite area hotel. Nice pool and B-Ball court, good (free) breakfast and close enough to walk to Disney and some amazing dining across the street. In fact, unless you are handicapped and cant go very far, I recommend leaving your car here and walking to the park. If you drive, youll not only pay Disneys crazy rate, but the walk from THEIR parking lots into the park is almost as far as from this hotel.
When you arrive its like driving into the jungle exciting and very plush with vegetation and trees! when you check in and get your room fine that it is very comfortable and clean accommodations for families of up to five children. And another good thing is youll find its just minutes from grocery stores and Disneyland
Our stay has been great. The hotel is right down the road from Disney and there is a shuttle that takes you right to the park. The pool area also has small wading pool for babies/toddlers and a hot tub. The complimentary breakfast was great and had everything you could want.
Excellent option for staying close to Disney. The staff is very helpful, the room was super comfortable (even the pullout bed was nice!), WiFi is GREAT, and the breakfast options are wonderful. Its just a few minutes by bus to Disney, very convenient for getting there early or leaving late, or for middle of the day nap trips.
Weve stayed here a few times and its been good. The room this time was generally fine but the refrigerator was leaking and the bathroom fan didnt work (hey were very apologetic when I let them know). The dog policy is really good at this hotel. The ART shuttle also stops on the property as well as very close by at the Motel 6.
We stayed here May 10 to 12. Check in was simple and quick. Girl at the front desk was very nice and friendly. For what I paid for a 2 night stay (285), I was pleasantly surprised and happy. We stayed in the queen bed studio suite, and the room had a FULL kitchen. It was myself and my 3 young boys (4,5, and 7). We walked across the street to the Anaheim Garden shops for dinner. Plenty of nice places to choose from and we had a nice time walking around there as well. After dinner and a quick run to wal-mart, we played basketball which is open until 9 and has lights. They had a great time, and had we brought our bathing suits, we would have enjoyed the heated pool which I checked and was nice and warm. There were other kids enjoying their time in there. Afterwards, we went back to the room and I put cookies in the oven for them which was very convenient and off they went to sleep. The breakfast in the morning wasn’t bad either…eggs, bacon, potatoes, and a waffle bar…coffee, juices, milk. Not bad for being included. The Anaheim Resort bus picks up at the hotel too in their parking lot which was convenient. It is about a 15 minute walk to Disneyland, but after being there from 8 in the morning until midnight, it was nice to be dropped off practically in front of our room. We go to Disneyland a few times a year and have previously stayed at The Anaheim hotel, Best Western Legacy, Travelodge, and Castle Inn. These are nice hotels too, but for the price, our first choice from now on will be to check with The Clementine.
Fantastic hotel. Walkable distance to the park. Amazingly sweet and helpful staff. We got 2 of their 2 bedroom suites, and the rooms were great! Clean, modern, exactly as advertised. This hotel truly was much better than expected from beginning to end. They earned a new batch of loyal customers with this trip!
Staff was verry nice and helpful with any help with anything I could ever need, the rooms were clean and comfortable, had all the amenities of an apartment, dishes, silverware, dishwasher, ice maker in the fridge, toaster, pots and pans, stove and microwave, just like home, I miss that hotel, and the friends and staff I met there during my visit there, 711 was a few blocks away, Disneyland, and fine dining all within blocks of the clemintine hotel. Great for the family or just a get away for yourself. They have studio, 1 bedrooms, up 2 three or 4 bedrooms with a real wood burning fireplace. And the price is a little more than motel 6 or any of the other low cost motels but its so worth the price you pay, its the only place I will stay at when visiting anahiem.
Arrived and there was a tray with dirty dishes next to front door. Next day still there, so we reported it to house keeping. Went to Disneypark and returned in evening and it was still there. We went to front desk to report, they apologize and said it would be cleared immediately. 3rd day of our stay and surprise surprise it is still there. We ended up moving the tray away our self.Toilet has overflowed 2x just with pee...the freezer door doesnt seal closed and 2 stove burners and liner were filthy. So when we turned it on it filled the room with smoke and terrible smell. The beds were comfortable tho.
Convenient hotel for Disney, just a 20 minute stroll to the main gate. Room was OK with kitchen and fire, but noisy airconditioning units outside. Buffet breakfast was good but gets very busy inside: get there early, or after Disney has opened, or use the patio for a quieter more relaxed breakast!
Paid for my room months in advance (March 2019) and our trip was actually in July. We arrived and our room had a leak and it had soaked the carpet in the front room and in one of the closets. It smelled like mold and we couldnt change rooms until the next day. Morning comes and they assign us another room, which was supposed to take 20 minutes, ended up being 2 hours so we missed our magic morning opportunity for Disneyland. And for our inconvenience were were compensated for our troubles with free sodas😒. If your going to stay here make sure ask all the right questions, so you and your family can actually enjoy your vacation.
Service is great, but rooms are a but noisy. We stayed on the first floor, so we could hear when people were walking/jumping upstairs. The breakfast was really good, and there were a combination of scrambled eggs, breakfast meats, fruit, cereal, & oatmeal. There were a lot of bugs in the room (flying gnats). I dont know if that is just Anaheim in general.Overall, a very good stay and the service is what was really memorable. Excellent staff with a genuine willingness to help their guests.
Staying here helped make our first trip to Disneyland even more enjoyable. We enjoyed the friendly service. The pool was a hit especially with the kids. We swam before breakfast and after supper and once during the day. Starting off with a full hot breakfast of eggs, ham, back bacon, salsa, roasted jalapenos was fantastic! Coffee was great too! The staff were friendly and we felt quite at home.We know where we are staying next time. Thanks Residence Inn Maingate!!
My kids and grand kids stayed last week, all week, for our D.land vacation. Our recently renovated bungalow at the Residence Inn was perfect! Plenty of room for our group of 3 adults and 3 kids. Fully stocked kitchen with full size fridge was wonderful as we brought some of our own food to save on food costs. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the place was clean, and the full breakfast was above average! The Inn is only about a half mile from D.land, so a few times we chose to walk back from the parks instead of waiting for our ART bus. Highly recommend as a family friendly place to stay!
I always stay here when I go to Disneyland. Spacious rooms. Comfortable beds. A good pool. Good breakfast. Free internet and cable. And less than a mile walk to the amusement park. The kitchen in every room doesnt hurt either, but I rarely use it when visiting the resort.
Great for families. We stayed in the penthouse 2 bedroom suite. Perfect for our family. The bedroom has 2 queen beds and upstair loft has a king bed. The couch can pull out to a sofa bed but it isnt that comfortable. Free breakfast and its pretty decent. I would definitely stay here again.
The hotel itself is in need of an update. Furnishings are out dated. It is very loud at this hotel. Although bring at a hotel across from Disneyland Im guessing this will be an issue at all of them. The pool is open 24 hours a day which is a plus after doing the Disney thing. Hot breakfast was very good all three days Ive been here. They have a lot of people eating in there and they kept up the demand which is no small task considering the about of kids coming though. Parking is also very hard to come by at the property. There is a shuttle that runs from the property to Disney every 20 minutes. All day passes are $5 for adults $2 for children. It is about a mile walk to the gate from the hotel. We usually walked in the morning, but at the end of the day the shuttle was very welcome.
First of all, they lied about where the hotel was located. We asked if they are located across the street from Disneyland because we didnt want a far walk with our 2 wheelchair kids. That was a lie. Second of all our room had NO hot water. A maintenance guy was able to fiddle with it and get it like warm but thats it and I had already had to take a cold shower. Third, the room is so dark. Theres not enough lights in their. Its like always being in the dark. Lastly, while we were sitting at breakfast we heard a man go complain to the manager about cockroaches in their room and hair all over the pull out bed.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. We are locals, rented a room as a mini getaway. First experience upon entry of the room wow...full kitchen...looks exactly like the pictures!!. Beautiful seating area just outside in the common area. They have a mini mart in the lobby with Food, snacks, beer soda, water. Heated pool, basketball court, playground all around a beautiful spot. Has an apartment feel....and continental breakfast....more like a free buffet!!! We are Vegan and left with full bellies :) Potatoes, Tortillas, spinach, Oatmeal and fruit ALL 5 STAR ♡
MORE LIKE 4.5☆1. Rooms are like apartments.2. Breakfast offers a wide variety of scrumptious options.3. Affordable shuttle to Disneyland.4. Amiable and professional staff.5. GREAT POOL & HOT TUB!6. Attractive exteriors, like upscale townhouses.7. LOST 1/2☆ BECAUSE: the rooms are VERY dated, mismatchedly styled, and a bit rundown.NONETHELESS WOULD DEFINITELY RETURN
We always enjoy our stay at the Marriott Maingate. We love the free breakfast and even tho we dont get a magic morning, we ride the ART bus to the park. Its an older facility and could use some updating but its clean, has a full kitchen and lovely grounds. I saw a hummingbird this morning which made my day. They will get groceries for you and have 2 grills in back of lobby. They are not a Marriott now so we cant get points for staying there. Will still probably stay there at times.
We’ve stayed there several times and each time it’s been wonderful. This is truly the best place that I’ve ever stayed at the front desk employees are very outgoing and remember your name as well as other people who stay there. I like how they have a little store called The Market and is open all the time never closed and if you email them the night before you go there and give them your grocery list it’s all in your room put away by early afternoon and while you’re there if you need some groceries you write it down and hand it in at night time and it’s delivered to your room and booked to your room. The rooms are always clean as well as the grounds. Housekeeping comes every day and does your dishes even though they are in the dishwasher and changes your sheets every day and they are very nice and ask if you need anything else. Other staff members that are walking around the grounds always smile at you and say hi and how’s your day. They have maintenance and if you ever need them they are there within a few minutes. I would tell anybody to go stay there and to also enjoy the breakfast each morning it’s more than just toast and cereal.
The hotel was very clean and the staff was very professional and polite. I like that the rooms have private entrances. I stayed in a studio which was much bigger than I expected. It also had a kitchen with full stove, full refrigerator, dish washer, dishes, appliances and a living area which I did not know it would have. It was a pleasant surprise.
Good room and the full kitchen was great too. Nice staff and complimentary breakfast was good too. Only thing keeping me from giving a full 5 stars was housekeeping or lack thereof in our case despite spending 3 of our 5 days there from 9am until 4pm at Disneyland. Was forced to remove our own garbage to avoid any smell.
Its well kept and staff is friendly and accommodating. Closer proximity ti Disney land but it isnt closer enough to walk, in my opinion. No security or security cameras and our car and another car were broken into and third row seating stolen out of vehicle. Hotel gave us free shuttle passes to Disney because we couldnt drive due to the theft. Police officer said its a huge issue in the area. I would give them 5 stars if they had better security. Especially since they knew this happens regularly.
We loved this place - the room was small, all open except the bathroom, but laid out in a way that it felt larger than it was. Our 8 yr old slept on the comfy sofa bed and we were nearby in the Queen bed. The combo desk/eating table was fun and the kitchen was outfitted with all we needed to cook the healthy, organic meals that we brought everything for. Housekeeping service was awesome, great attitudes and always helpful. They are not stingy with towels, shampoo (we forgot ours!) or coffee - two to three fresh packets of both kinds of coffee left in our room daily with the daily housekeeping. The full buffet breakfasts were great, with many choices! Weve stayed at five stars that were far more stingy, and way more expensive where Ive left notes and negative reviews. This was perfect for going to DL, and nearby shopping: way handy. The shuttle to DL (ART) was also extremely convenient and driver all week was a really fun person!
We had stayed here once before and we were happy this last stay was horrible. We all got super sick, we found black mold in the toilets and around the tub. We notified the front desk as this was a health hazard issue. The manger on duty was extremely rude and condescending even though we were very polite about the issue but said she would take care of it. We came back the next day after they had cleaned the room and it was still there. We got a tooth brush and scraped some of it off to go down and show them. The second manager was much more polite and apologetic thankfully. We all had serve coughs for a couple of weeks after. The rooms were not clean everything was very old dirty and in need of serious repair, remodel and a good old fashioned cleaning. I used to work as a hotel maid for my first job as a 13 year old and I did a way better job then they did. I would had been fired had I cleaned rooms like that. We highly recommend not staying here if you value your health and your wallet.
This motel is the greatest in the area. We have stayed here 2 times when traveling to Disneyland. The first time the had a dinner every night we were there, this was included with out stay. And every day they have a all you can eat breakfast with real breakfast food, not bagels and donuts, were talking bacon, sausage, I mean you name it ti was there. The rooms are super big with allot of room for the biggest family. Beds are comfortable to say the least. If you dont mind spending the extra cash for a nice place to stay this place is the place to be.
We stayed here April 2013. This place was clean, free hot n good breakfast, and friendly staff. Free Wifi, free parking to boot. The only problem was the proximity to Disneyland itself. Too far to walk especially with kids, so we learned our lesson and used the shuttle our second day. Shuttle costs $6 for adults/$3 for kids if memory serves me right and comes by every 30 minutes. We enjoyed our stay and this place is one of our top picks!
We always stay here when we visit Anaheim. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the free breakfast has a lot of variety. You can even take the ART transit over to Disneyland right from the parking lot of the hotel, or you can walk since its just a few blocks away. We had a couple problems with the first room we were in but they let us change rooms without any problems. Highly recommended!
Staff was excellent and the rooms are Awesome.Full refrigerator w/ ice dispenser,,electric stove and microwave, dishwasher!!,garbage disposal, full kitchen utensils..... I could go on an on...basically an apartment feel or mini- air bnb....I HIGHLY recommend this hotel😎
My fiancé and I had a great week at The Clementine. They had a wide variety of food for breakfast. All of the rooms had a kitchen that came in handy. The workers were very polite (Mario specifically was really nice and informative about what we should check out on our trip). If I were to critique anything, I would just suggest that in the breakfast line to make breakfast burritos, put the tortillas by the plates at the beginning of the line, not at the end of the line. The lines get pretty crazy at breakfast, and every time we had to stand in line to grab a tortilla and then walk to the back of the line again and wait to put all of the toppings on our burrito. Also, our toilet pressure for our room was extremely low. Not sure if that is the case for every room, though. Other than those couple of minor issues, we had such a good time!
We loved the place, we arrived at midnight and they give us a early check in and no adicional chargers, very clean, amazing staff and really good breakfast buffet. The only thing I didnt like it was the shuttle that takes you to disney, it takes about a hour to show up, but if your ok with walking then you have no problem, and its not the hotels fault its the citys shuttles. I really recommend and hopefully see them next year.
False promises and terrible customer service. My wife and I made a reservation back in November 2019 that we had to cancel due to our daughter falling ill. Luckily, the hotel representative told us they would issue us a credit for the amount we paid towards a future booking with them, so long as we called and made the reservation prior to June 2020. Here we are in January trying to apply the credit towards a reservation for the month of February and there is no record of the credit, nor of the conversation (yet they insist I wasnt lied to by their employees). I will never again do business with them and strongly urge any one else to reconsider.
Thank you Clementine, you made our vacation extra special! Thanks especially to Mario and Dulce for all of your help and always greeting us with a smile! This hotel and staff makes you feel like you are home. If you are in Anaheim you must stay here, clean, close to Disneyland, excellent!

2022-03-22Great location, really close to Disneyland (15 minutes walk). We stayed in the 1 bedroom for 4 nights. The room was spacious, the bed was really comfortable, and had all the kitchen amenities necessary to cook. Very quiet and clean. There is a heated pool plus hot tub but we didn’t use them. Nice staff. I would definitely stay there again !

2022-05-07I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Our room was clean, big enough for my whole party, and close enough to walk to Disneyland. Although the walk was a lot at the end of the night, the room and pleasant accommodations made up for that long walk. Being able to wake up and slightly see Disneyland was an awesome part of my vacation and the constant reminder of being in California really made it a wonderful experience. I cannot recommend this hotel enough and I fully intend on looking here before I look at any resorts nearby on my next visit to Disneyland.

2022-02-21Great stay, we just got home from an 8 night stay at the Clementine in a 1 bedroom unit. Our unit was very clean, very quite ,very comfortable and the beds were the most comfortable Ive ever slept in Location of the hotel is about a 15 minute walk to Disneyland, and 3 min walk to Anaheim Garden Walk. All the staff we interacted with were extremely friendly.Due to the pandemic housekeeping was limited I was made aware of this when I made my reservation, but they came in mid way through our stay and did an impeccable job of freshening up the place. There is a lot of renovation going on at the property, however the workers are there limited day time hours, so it doesnt really interfere with the overall guest experience. On future trips to Anaheim, well definitely stay here again

2022-01-29This was such a great experience for our family! We stayed Sun-Sat and had a great experience. The front desk were kind and helpful! We had 5 people in the loft and it worked perfectly. The full kitchen really made our stay worth it!The price was great (we went at the end of January) and we were able to keep our family together in one room for the same price as 2 different rooms.Conveniently located within a mile of Disney, but the ART line has a pic up spot right on campus! It is within walking distance of Garden Walk, which has all sorts of restaurants and shops.

2022-05-14First time my wife and I stayed here and it was very inviting with a full kitchen and a comfortable bed. Not really a big issue but for me the shower floor was very slippery so shower with caution😂. Was about a 15 min walk to Disneyland and is easy to navigate and a safe walk. I will definitely stay here in the future.

2022-02-11Quiet, clean, feels safe, and within walking distance of the Disney parks. Pool is heated, relatively shallow 3 foot on one side and 5 foot on the other, there is a separate 6 person hot tub and 1.5 foot deep kid pool. The bi-level lofts were wonderful and have a full kitchen with stove/oven, full-size fridge, dishwasher, microwave, pots, pans, dishes, silverware etc. The only things that I did not care for were lack of daily room service, but that may be due to Covid-19 and keeping employees safe or a labor shortage. The other thing is whatever detergent they use on their bedding lead to rashes on some of my family members who have sensitive skin. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Would stay again.

2021-12-06All in all a pretty good hotel. We booked with the Disneyland website so figured it couldn’t be a bad choice. Relatively short walk to the Disneyland park, only crossing traffic 3 times which was nice. The room was clean, and stocked. Front desk staff was polite and helpful. There was some minor construction in the lobby but it did not hinder our experience. My only complaint was the family above us tromping on our heads at 1030 at night. But that is not the hotels fault. Would stay again.

2022-05-29This used to be our go-to hotel when it was the Residence Inn Marriott. I don’t know what happened after Clementine took over but everything is cheap...the renovations are cheaply done, the quality of toilet paper is cheap, blankets & pillows are cheap, the coffee maker takes at least an hour to brew! No coffee filters, we had to go to the store and buy our own. The dishes & utensils in the rooms look like they are from a child’s tea set they are so tiny and cheap! We went and bought our own coffee mugs because the ones provided were so small. The pool towels were also extremely small and cheap. Once again, we used our own! The breakfast was not up and running and we were told that it would be by the end of May, which was when we were staying. The free breakfast has always played a huge part in why we have stayed here in the past, so we were disappointed. Very disappointing in the overall quality of this place and for the price we paid we will stay elsewhere next time.

2022-05-20The good: Suites are large and include a kitchen for large families. The hotel is close enough to Disney that adventurous park goers could walk, or shuttles typically arrive at the park in about 10 minutes. The grounds are visually well maintained. The bad: The suites can use the same level of attending as the exterior. In a recent stay, the exhaust fan in the upstairs bathroom was so loud it was not possible to use the light while others were still sleeping. The bathtubs are dangerously smooth and aggressively angled toward the drain. Bring a bath mat. One of the stairs leading up to our upstairs suite was loose and several of the ballasts where broken.

2022-05-22Excellent rooms. Very clean. Friendly staff. Family friendly. There is a playground. Full kitchen with stovetop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, real coffee maker and toaster! 😄very big and comfy bed. Pretty quiet. Didnt hear neighbors showering or getting up in the morning and I was on the bottom floor. Kept having to go back to the car for stuff I forgot and we got there super late. I didnt feel unsafe walking to my car or feel afraid someone would break in. Only stayed one night but would be perfect for a long stay. I will be back Im sure. Oh and FREE PARKING! Not really walking distance to the park, its about 17 minutes to walk. So depends on what youre up for. But after a long day of walking I wouldnt want to walk back. But I think there might be a shuttle service.
