We had an outstanding girls night out! Our server was training and honestly, I had no idea. She was flawless on her execution & we loved her personality (very genuine)! I was a restaurant manager for over 10 years and I would have been extremely happy to have had her on my team.
Hadnt been to Claim Jumper in years and my first time at this site. Food was okay. Years before portions were super large. Limited choices seafood, steak and ribs. Full bar. Friends made 3pm reservation but really didnt see the need upon arrival. Plenty of parking and tables/booths available.
I give it 3 today. Thumbs up all a round. 🥸. Especially Angel. She gr8.👍 But this is all subject to change. The staff is great. The food. Drinks. Hospitality. All 5 star. But i alerted Management to a bad stool. Wobbly legs. Almost broke my leg...and Mexican manager threw me out.👎
This was a funny experience. It was my grandson’s birthday. I called to see if I needed a reservation for 7 people the answer was yes. I was also told to please give them ample time if I had to change my reservation. Hahahaha there was no reason to have made the reservation at that time. It was empty. I wish I would have brought my phone in to take pictures of the food. But my family likes family time phones off! It was horrible! I ordered a sandwich that was supposed to have grilled bell peppers and they weren’t in there. Haha. I told our waitress and she brought me canned Ortega chili peppers. The steak was small and my granddaughters said they’re shrimp was cold. We basically just liked the appetizers and beer. Then they brought my grandson a piece of chocolate cake without asking us, with a candle. He hates chocolate cake.we basically took our food home to heat up. But the restaurant was so empty and it’s huge. High prices !! Poor food!!
We visited fir my sons bday. The food was ok but I was expecting more since I had visited a Claim Jumpers years ago and that memory was my guide. I ordered a steak at médium temperature but it was more to a well done so it did not impress me. The rest of the food came out ok but a bit on the cold side. I have visited other restaurants in the area and the food comes out hot so that was the expectation. Overall the experience was a 2 but I gave them a 3 because the service was good.
Had indoor dining. We made a reservation so we didnt have to wait 40 minutes... woohoo! It was pretty crowded. The seatings of the table were social distancing. Our food was good but fries were too salty. Our server was really rushing us in the beginning but towards the end, she was ok. Didnt have a menu for beer at all but if you get the right server, theyll let you know, our bartender actually came over. Other than that, no other complaints, this is our favorite spot so well def come back again 😋
Our funeral party were seated at tables and booths more than six feet apart and in a section by ourselves. The wait staff was excellent. I couldnt ask for a better meal. I got the shrimp pasta which was served up hot and with plenty of shrimp. I like the shrimp was served up decent size unlike some restaurants who use small salad shrimp for pasta dishes. And bring lactose intolerant I was happy to see that it was a butter vs. milk sauce. My only complaint was grated parmesan was sprinkled on top but the waiter got me a spoon and separate dish so I could scrap it off. I believe that despite telling him and asking him if the tortilla chicken soup had milk or cheese sprinkled on it he spaced it with the pasta. Note to self: tell wait staff no cheese sprinkled on soup, salad, or pasta! Warning: chicken tortilla soup was good but very spicy!
First time here, came with a best friend and we were having a great time laughing and talking about life over food and drinks. The staff was super cool, even though we werent the quietest pair. The food was superb! I had the salmon with crab on top, my friend had the roast beef sandwich and it was not basic. I will absolutely come back to this restaurant!
Food is always great! Huge portions, a little pricey. The baked beans tasted like they added manwich to the sauce, which was weird. But the pretzels and the sauces were good. I ordered the blackened chicken bow tie pasta and that was delicious! Our server forgot about us I think. He checked in after our good and we never saw him again.
I grew up with Claim Jumper and thoroughly enjoy their food. Its a rare treat to go now since the restaurant in my city closed. I pretty much always get the meatloaf 😊 its changed a little over the years but man, is it tasty! The berry butter cake is out of this world! We stopped by this location after a long day in the car and man, i was not disappointed. Our waitress was excellent and the food was spot on.
San Bernardino Claim Jumper Steakhouse is alright.Been here a few times with the family.Employees are kinda hit or miss.Sometimes you get great service then the next visit you might get a KAREN!Food- is good comes out hot & freshTheir fish n chips, Widow marker burger, Chicken fried steak, ribs, steak, and chicken tenders were a hit with my fam.We have never had any problems or issues with the food.Overall a decent place to grab some grub.
Good food, but also very expensive now, and our food was ridiculously slow to come. wont be coming back here for lunch as it messes up my plans for afterward because the food takes soooo long. spent $72 for lunch for 2 adults and 2 kids. Im not sure if I will return at all
Service was awful...food was ok but some of it was cold when it got to the table. Portions were small and we had to ask different servers for drinks and our check. 5 people cost me $200 for dinner which wouldnt be an issue if we had $200 worth of service and food, which we didnt. I hate to leave a bad review but this is honest.
It was my sons 12th birthday and we always go to Claim Jumpers honestly the food was pretty good the service was pretty fast we loved her meal only one thing that kind of messed up the days that we couldnt watch the Lakers game we happen to have the seat with the only TV that did not work all the other TVs are on running with games
Yesterday my son and my daughter took me to Claim Jumpers to celebrate Mothers Day we had a reservation at 5 they set us down 4:50 20 minutes late is it coming to order our food then we didnt get our food for half hour later my sons fries were cold is chicken sandwich was cold my steak dinner baked potato was cold it was so sad it was the worst experience Ive ever had I will not return back to your guyss restaurant I cant believe how it took so long to get our meals and our males were nasty
Took my husband here for his first time to celebrate the finish of our latest big job. Ive been here before, being a native of the area and always enjoyed it, but last night was the best meal Ive had out in a long time, and my husband LOVED it. They really did an amazing job. My Salmon Oscar and his perfectly cooked Porter house steak were so good! Good job Chef! ☺👍and the service was perfectly attentive and accomodating. After we were sat the large party next to us had gathered people around standing by the table literally their behinds right in my face and being quite obnoxious... And we were quickly moved to a nice quiet romantic booth and our server moved all our things even my phone I had forgotten. 👍The server didnt hover either but came literally right when the thought crossed my mind! Lol and he was so nice. We couldnt have asked for a more pleasant night. We will definitely be back thank you Claim Jumper! -Jess and James
I liked it the first time allot the country fried steak was amazing the gin and tonic was decent bumped the gin up from well to Bombay (free of charge) due to the fact that the tonic was flat no big deal as its an incredibly uncommon drink atleast now a days I went back maybe a week and a half ago and the service was excellent although the kitchen was a bit off I had my food sent back came out again and still wasnt quite right I would definitely try a third time considering eating somewhere twice does give enough to actually go by but what I can say for sure is the waiting staff is incredible it is surely an experienced bartender and the manager that day checked on me multiple times So clearly they are doing more then expected
Wonderful staff, the gentleman who was seating guests, is a delite! We love the Pretzel Bites & Cali Citrus Chicken Salad. These are our staple orders, though we do venture. Always good food, disappointed that years ago they stopped making in-house blueberry muffins (actually an individual bundt cake) and cornbread. The muffins were so good we would order for holidays/special occasions.
I had the Prime Rib Eye. A little disappointed that it come only a la carte. It was a good steak. Our server was Alexis. I highly recommend her. She was on point with drink refills, check on us after every course was served. If something wasnt right she made sure it was corrected right away. She is one of the best servers I have encountered.
Very very disappointed with the quality of the takeout order I just received. The Asian Chicken Salad was worse than what I’ve had from a bagged salad mix. The wantons were stale and there were no sesame seeds or almonds. The soup was barely a cup sized but charged as a bowl. Sadly this restaurant used to be known for generous QUALITY portions and this was not the case for almost $30 soup and salad
Our waitress angel was very nice. I complain that my double Lobster BLT what is on the shy side Lobster. She brought me a separate serving of lobster at no charge. My son had the chicken pot pie he is a big eater but he cannot finish it. Oh he did have the artichoke dip appetizer that he enjoyed. We will go back again
The food was fantastic! The pretzel bites and mozzarella sticks were the best Ive ever had. The Guinness was sadly flat, as was the soda. But the pumpkin cheesecake was phenomenal. Theyve made great improvements to the menu and quality of food in the last year. Just lost a star for the beverages.
The best server weve had is Kent . Came in for dinner on Sunday at 8:45pm. Kent was very friendly & a pleasure to deal with. Always Great service from Kent , he has served us once before & was on it then as well as tonight.Thank you Kent I really appreciate great service 🤙🏼
Claim Jumper is not what it used to be. Even though management is great at this facility. Besides the portions that used to be pretty plentiful which now are not. The quality of food that comes out of the kitchen there has not been up to the standard that Claim Jumper used to produce. Also they had changed the times for happy hour. Big time Bummer ! The new menu you had a couple things on there that were good. But with the prices on the menu and our overall satisfaction of our meal not being great. It was kind of a letdown This was not only in my opinion. But also the opinion of my adult kids.
My family and I went tonight to have dinner. There wasnt any wait time, we got seated right away. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. I ordered a steak and loaded baked potato and once I got home, my stomach was really upset and gurgling. Im not sure if it was something in the food, but Ive gone to the restroom a few times. Claim Jumpers has changed so much over the years. I give 4 stars because our waitress was great!
Great portions and food was good but got it delivered to a hotel and it came with nothing to eat with. Called them and manager said it was the delivery website that was to blame. The website was pretty self explanatory about cutlery and I opted to receive it (obviously) but she somehow rationalized that it was them. It was $112 for two dinners, two desserts and an appetizer and she wanted to blame someone else. Thankful the hotel had some.
My food was good prime rib eye cooked on point. However my wife unfortunately had a steak that tasted old and spoiled. I couldnt handle it myself and I have a strong stomach. The manager did try to make things right, so that was nice. My wife though would not be going back for a while. Sucks cause I actually enjoyed my meal.
Claim Jumper never gets old! Husband and I had to stop and dine at claim jumpers before we headed out to Palm Springs for the weekend. We were welcomed by the hostess & got seated right away. Phil was our server and was very helpful. Frida the manager came by to see how we liked our cocktails, she noticed our appetizer was a little over cooked at delivery and immediately had another one made. All around service was amazing & we will for sure be coming back soon.
The food there before the pandemic was perfect. Now since the pandemic they dont care about the food they serve coming out. The waitress charged me for a salad I ordered and gave me a dinner salad instead which wouldve been cheaper than the one I ordered. The wings were dry and tasteless, however the calamari was perfect. My husband ordered well done steak and it came out pink and there is no more salad bar at the moment.
Ordered two bow tie pastas, and one pot pie over the phone. My husband went to pick up the $60 order and brought the food home. Such a disappointing experience. The chicken in the pastas is supposed to be blackened and was not. The chicken was absolutely disgusting and did not taste fresh at all, as it had the taste of chicken that had been refrigerated. I called the restaurant to express my disappointment and was informed by the manager that the chicken is always made fresh and should have been blackened. He offered no recourse on how to right the situation. They also forgot to give us the cheese bread that accompanies the pasta. My entire dinner was destroyed by the yucky taste of the disgusting chicken. Management has poorcustomer service skills as he offered no remedy to correct my complaints. I would definitely not patronize this establishment ever again. Worst experience ever!
Had lunch at this location on Wednesday with my brother. The service was prompt and friendly therefore the one star. The menu was not very appealing with very few of the classic items I once loved. I had the potato soup and it tasted like it was made from a gritty soup mix. I also had the lobster blt sandwich and it was made with poor quality lobster and tasted so bad that I couldnt finish it. My brother had the black tie pasta and said it was just okay and had almost no chicken. The ladies room floor was also very dirty. Overall the restaurant needs a deep clean, the food quality needs to improve drastically or it will sadly close.
Ok, my family and I visited after watching a great movie. Our server greeted us promply. We ordered and Im not sure how to handle this, but they ask if you want separate or all the bill in one. For me, its uncomfortable. If you say separate, you seem cheap, but if you say all in one bill, those in attendance might order extra steam/lobster to go.Anyway, I asked if we could just order and make individual payments later. The server agreed and we ordered.I havent been here in many years and remember that they use to have great food and large portions.A salad was served with dinner. Being that we had half a dozen people, I can kinda understand that my sale was dropped off in the wrong spot next to another family member. So I sat there patiently waiting until my wife noticed an uneaten sale sitting there. Sure enough, it was my salad that was sitting there in the wrong spot :(.Well, for the main course, I ordered the salmon with crab topping. When it arrived, there were small slivers of crab meat on top and two approx six inch asparagus as the side. You heard me correct, two asparagus! The salmon was rather puny too. Not very satisfying for an over $30 main dish.Well, the server may have been busy with other tables but she made very few visits back to the table for refills. One other issue... the server never showed up after dropping off the bill holder to see if we wanted dessert. I wanted a that multi chocolate layer of cake to go but it never materialized since the server showed up to see if we wanted anything afterwards. At payment time, we gave her our credit cards and had a drink on there that we never ordered. We sat there for about 20 extra minutes trying to get the bill sorted out. Lol, we had a record number of receipt holders on our table. It was actually comical. So being that I wasnt too satisfied with the tiny portions, the lack of easily achievable service, and the confusion over the bill, I have to rate it only three stars. Yes, three stars for what should have been a five star visit.
Although I am giving a 5 star rating I recently turned to not eating meat (even chicken, pork) so coming to claim jumpers was a new experience in that manner. I did have 2 option 1... go veggie pizza or 2... pick side items and create my own plate. I decided to fix a plate. I ordered a loaded potato (no bacon), veggies, and corn, with a soup. My husband did love his steak and mushroom plate.
To be honest I thought Claim Jumper had closed down even before covid. I was mistaken, they are not only open and you can dine inside again. It has been a long time since I was here last but I think the food is still good. Our waitress was excellent and just a delightful individual. Just so you know the door opens at 11am and they close at 9pm.
Used to a fav eatery. Couldnt have been more disappointed in this experience. Service was lacking, from forgetting items to not getting salads before the entre, just not up to CJ standards. The food was poor at best. Ordered a Wedge Salad. Supposed to be cold, crisp lettuce in a wedge. Got a bowl with chunks that were warm and limp leaved. Couldnt even finish it. Usually my fav item, this time least fav.Got a free (3 layer) slice of choc. Cake for the poor service, but still dropped 180$ for lackluster service and food. So 2 stars.
Service was just as expected upon arrival and we were sat down right away. We skipped appetizers and ordered dinner. The food was hot but very mediocre for what we paid. I ordered a prime ribeye medium rare and it was medium well and less than a half inch thick for $50! It didnt come with any sides as those were extra which was explained on the menu. My wife ordered the prime filet and it was also over cooked and very thin. It resembled a piece if slider meat! My son ordered the country fried steak and he mentioned that it was very dry inside the breading. This is not the quality of food that we have ever experienced at a Claim Jumper. We would have brought it to the attention of a manger, however we had not eaten since lunch time and were very hungry and did not want to wait for a corrected plate or the usual Im so sorry, here is a free dessert. Definitely not going to return to this restaurant chain based on their quality & value of food. When ordering a steak for almost $50 that comes al a carte, youd expect that it be a sizeable portion and not so small.
Awe man what can I say about the 🍸 tipsy! The ribs were a little dry for my taste. The dessert were phenomenal. Everyone in our party tried a different treat. The restaurant staff were professional and friendly. We had a party of 4. After enjoying our meal and spirits, we took it upon ourselves to have an impromptu disco moment because the music encouraged our good times had by all.
Service was great! Atmosphere was relaxing. Food selection has changed from 10 years ago, for the better in my opinion. Fish tacos were good, Id order easy cabbage next time but flavor was good. Widow maker burger was huge and tasty. Fries are good! Baked potato was alright, not as soft as I like it. Brownie with white chocolate chips and vanilla ice cream was on point!
Great food, good service. Although it seemed like our server was really busy... had a lot of tables to take care of. Because of that, he accidentally missed a couple things. But after we asked about those, he took care of them right away. I think if a person is not as overworked, they will probably get everything just right and wont let a few things slip through the cracks. All in all, real good time! Food was cooked exactly how we ordered, and tasted GREAT! Can hardly wait to come back!
Ordered to go order online, they forgot gravy for my country fried chicken meal that came with mash potatoes they also forgot utensils after I asked if utensils were in the bag and staff confirmed that there was when I asked but when I got back to my hotel there was none had to ask room service for utensils also the garlic bread was not even toasted it was just bread with the garlic butter on it also I ordered the full mozzarella sticks and only received 4 sticks was very disappointed with the service especially since COVID and its raining they would make sure everything was perfect since there was no outside dining due to the weather. Spend practically $60 on it and it just was not worth my money very disappointed with the food quality especially since they have such good reviews.
We were given a gift card from our neighbor who loves and frequents this location and shared with us the great news of indoor seating. He always tells us that everyone is so friendly and the plates are delicious. He was right. My kids enjoyed their pasta orders and my wife and I shared the asian salad and large ribeye steak. As a family, we shared the pecan cake and berry cake. Our waitress, who was also the one seating guests, helped us on what to order. Everything was great. Service was attentive and beyond. I can see why our neighbor enjoys Claimjumper. We will be back again.
Placed an order online at CJ’s and was very disappointed! Went to pick it up and they said it wasn’t ready yet. Finally got my order way late , then when I got home the food was cold and not cooked the way I asked! I ordered the black widow burger and asked for it to be cooked medium, it was cooked well done. The French fries we’re hard as a rock. Bread on the burger was hard also. Let’s just say I’m not going back anytime soon!
This is where Mom and I go for Anniversary or birthdays. Always (generally) right, but one time had a bad experience...left a review about it, and the next day the manager called to fix it. Awesome customer service. You need to go here to experience what good food (perhaps a bit pricey, but thats my age speaking 😬) and flawless customer service is what it is all about. Maybe Ill order out for tonight.Governmental hyper-management of COVID just boggles the mind. Governor Nuisance is really just... um... well... a Nuisance, who thinks he is a nanny. Hes not even the professor.
We went to Claim Jumper on Hospitality in San Bernardino. We all ordered salads, hamburgers, sandwiches and a rack of ribs. We were all served and nearly finished when they finally brought the ribs. My Nephew had to rush as we had an appointment to be at. My daughter, a Chef, said the ribs should have served along with everyone elses food as they were already prepared ahead of all the other orders. I had a meatloaf sandwich which was not as good as I thought it was going to be. When I picked up one half it was still connected to the other half and I ended up eating it with a fork as everything inside slid off the bread. The servers kept out of site so you couldnt get anyones attention.I probably wont go back.We used to frequent the one in Corona but unfortunately it has been closed down.
Great tasting food!! Nice restaurant too. Vert clean & nice atmosphere. The service was attentive & very accommodating even with last minute change of table needed for extra guests. Erika was our server and did such a great job. I was celebrating my birthday & would love to return next year and for any future celebration.
Food was decent, service was well balanced. Our appetizers were better than the entrees. My wife and I shared the spinach artichoke dip which was very tasty. They do need to clean in and around their air vents because theres a lot of dust on the ceiling around them. A little repulsive seeing things like that because it makes you think, what else dont they clean?
**Reservations a MUST for large groups** Went with a group for a birthday party. We were able to get seating in a general area that allowed our group to be together even though we did not have reservations. We ended up in 3 booths next to each other. Server was excellent! She kept our orders correct, was pleasant and polite even to the difficult ones, and the service was always prompt. They even allowed us to have our own cake sheet we brought served for the birthday boys.
I gave it four stars not because of one bad experience but because of many visits to the same place. Good food over all, kind of pricey but they do serve nice portions. The drinks are tasty but a bit to much ice. Deserts are quite large and nice for sharing. For the most part you cant go wrong with a night out here.
My past experience has been that you dont want to come here if you are in a hurry. Plan on an hour to an hour and a half after you have been seated at your table. But the food is definitely good and worth the time. However, in this visit our waiter had many tables to wait on and as a result this visit was even more time consuming. It was my birthday month so i got a huge slice of birthday cake that could have served six easily.
I had not been here in a couple of years. Service was good. I had the tri tip dip sandwich. It was delicious. Wife had chicken stuffed baked potato and it was very good. We both brought food home. The salad bar however seemed a little missing, the seemed to be more meats than veggies. But the plates were chilled which was a nice touch and it had a wider selection of dressings.
Ive been wanting to dine here for many years, and tonight I finally got the opportunity to. I had gotten the widow maker burger, and I must say it was the very first burger I couldnt finish eating. My wife had a salad and she shared with me a couple of bites. The croutons were delicious and the salad was one of the freshest tasting ,I had ever tasted before. The vegetables were like they had been freshly picked. The meatloaf and mashed potatoes were delicious and the steamed vegetables were phenomenal. The staff exceptional. I will definitely be coming back soon and Ill be bringing family and friends with me.I was just a little sad because I didnt save room for desert and wanted to try the raspberry cheesecake. Next time I will know better. Lol . You wont be disappointed.
So so very good. We arrived shortly before Dinner time so we were able to have maybe about 30mins before the rush began and it was very nice the waiter was so helpful. The Coffee they serve is very very yummy. Our food was all great. Good temperatures on everything and the taste did not disappoint. The waitress we ended up with after she returned from her break was also great she came so many times to make sure everything was good and if we needed anything she was very prompt in bringing it back to the table. I ordered the classic meatloaf and it was GOOD. The Salad bar was clean, vegetables were plently and fresh, very clean good temp and organized, looked appetizing. All in all very happy very hopeful it will be just as Good when we return.
The service was the only thing that made up for the extreme wait time for food. We did have a party of 30, but almost everyone food was either over cooked or cooked wrong. The staff was helpful and was trying. I ordered Coconut Shrimp, that was the worst I think Ive ever eaten. And thats being nice. Everything was overcooked and dry. Not a fan. The salad bar was good at least. But thats not enough for a restaurant. I Would not go there again. And Would not recommend people go there either. But if you go, I hope you have a better experience then I did.
Food was delicious, lots of portions. Many choices on the menu to pick from. The waitress was very nice and came back 3-4 times to check on us. The only thing I didnt like was the music. I dont like music while Im be eating, I dont do it at home so I not a big fan. The fact that it was loud also was not appealing to me.
Christina was our waitress yesterday at claim jumper and she is awesome. Our food was very good I had the barbecue ribs with Mac and cheese and my husband had the fish tacos which he said was very good. He also had the salad bar which was a very pleasant surprise because the claim jumper restaurants did away with the salad bars in Arizona. We also had the clam chowder and you cannot go wrong with their clam chowder.it is always delicious. Their portions are very large and I always have leftovers for the next day. When we go back and we will go back, I will definitely ask for Christina as our waitress.
Visited this place for the first time with a group of 15. It was empty due to the quarantine so we were seated promptly. Service was a little slow, but it looked like there wasnt many staff. The food was good and we enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. Kudos to the staff doing all the could and we made sure to thank them.
Beautiful place. The hostess Alyssa was very courteous, friendly and efficient! Our server Erica was wonderful and attentive. My Tri Tip sandwich with bbq sauce was very tender and tasty. My mom had a top sirloin rare and loved it! My wife had top sirloin well done and said it was still very tender! Their prices went up a wee bit since we were last there but this experience was well worth it! :)
Good overall experience as always.Ownership has changed several times over the last few years causing significant changes to the menu...not quite as spectacular as it once was. Most of the favorites and popular selections are still available.Salad bar was awesome as was the service!!
I love claim jumper.. They have cheap full racks of ribs compared to other places... HOWEVER, my last visit i was very disappointed with my ribs.. I like my ribs to stay on the bone.. These ribs looked beat up and were falling all off the bone.. That full rack seemed very very short as well, and yes this is my main dish when i come eat here so yes i know how a full rack should look.... See yall next order...
We went to Claim jumper for early dinner, had potato cheese soup, salad and filet mignon. Was cooked well, great flavor and good value. Service was good. I ordered food from here on Grubhub to my hotel. The chicken and potatoes were very good. The salad was fine. The side order of bacon was also very good.
The food was good and the waitress was amazing. We went with a large party and she did great with keeping up with our drinks and making sure we were good the whole time we were there. Happy hour good prices and the raspberry martini was tart and kinda warm but overall it was good
Still have big food!Took our mother for her birthday dinner tonight, after a long haitus of visiting this restaurant. Strangely, the main reason we stopped going to the Claim Jumper in general was because it was so difficult to get a reservation at a normal time for dinner, and the place was always so packed and noisy. Well, things have either changed dramatically, or we just got very lucky, because on a Friday night the crowd was very sparse. The food is still great and plentiful, and our waitress was amazing. Looks like well have to visit more often again!
This place has become less popular over the years and I cant quite figure why. These restaurants have a lot of real estate to pay for and every time Ive been in one they are about 20% occupied. The food is always good and the desserts are just fabulous and I always look forward to going back.
Claim Jumper is not the place it once was. I used to enjoy going here for a good meal with large portions of whatever was put on my plate. The cost was not out of reach, but you got a lot of food. Now, the food is still fresh and prepared well, but the portions are much smaller and the cost is up there. They used to be a better value for the money, now not so much. Our Server was very good though. She did a good job of taking care of us and we had a nice conversation about jello.
They opened doors for dine-in a mere 2 weeks ago and from what we heard and saw, the word has spread. They were fully booked for the entire day, so reservations are a must. Once inside, I respected the precautions they are taking: entire staff with masks, hand sanitizer stations, nice spacing of diners (every other table closed off).
Weve met family at Citrones several times for lunch. Its a lovely restaurant and a full menu. The service was excellent as was the food. They have an extensive menu and wine list for a relatively small establishment. We always enjoy our meals and its usually quiet enough to visit. Their bread is exceptional.
Had a small dinner party for four, made reservation thinking we would need them on Friday night, we did not. The restaurant was as clean as it always has been but the salad bar did not seem as fresh as it had been in the past, our waitress which seemed very attentive at first seemed to have lost her way back to our table when it came to bringing an extra bread and refilling out water and drinks. Steaks we ordered were not as prime as the price was. Pasta dishes were luke warm at best and had really no flavor. It is a shame this was at one time one of our favorite restaurants to attend.

2022-04-15I couldnt decide what I wanted for my birthday. At the last minute I decided I wanted to celebrate my birthday with a slice of the chocolate cake from Claim Jumpers. So, we originally went just to buy the cake. But, when Tracy greeted us with her warm smile and her can do attitude we were sold. I am so glad we had lunch here and I am very please with Tracys service. She was helpful, kind and courteous. Since we told her were were there for the cake she remembered and at the end of our meal she brought me the buttery berry cake. That cake is a game changer for us. Next year I may not want the chocolate cake and may instead taker her sister the buttery berry cake. Day of visit April 15, 2022 at 11:06AM Server: Tracy P

2022-03-17Food was great. The steak that I ordered rare actually came out rare, which is uncommon for a chain restaurant (or any restaurant for that matter). My wife love the meatloaf, and my daughter said it was the best burger and fries she ever had. The customer service we received was fantastic, despite my wife and I coming in with three young children only an hour before closing time. Overall, really happy with our experience. You earned some repeat customers in this family.

2022-03-05We went there just for desserts, which mind you, were absolutely delicious! My favourite was the strawberry cream cheese pie. BUT, please be warned; their portion sizes are extremely generous! They have life size copies of their desserts displayed near the entrance. So do order with caution. That said, we simply loved all the 4 desserts we ordered ( chocolate motherlode, strawberry cheesecake, 2 butter cakes ) and they were definitely inexpensive for the portion sizes served.

2021-10-30Absolutely the worst appetizers you can get from any restaurant there is, abysmal portions and everything was burned to a crisp. Ordered a kids pizza took 30 minutes to get it. How hard is it to heat up a frozen pizza! They should be embarrassed serving the garbage they do!

2022-04-10We arrived at a busy time, so had to wait, but the food was excellent! I had meatloaf that was served with gravy, mashed potatoes, and mixed vegetables. The two slices of meatloaf were very generously sized. I brought half my plate home for tonights dinner.Server Cailey did a wonderful job taking care of our MANY requests from our group of 9. Thank you!
