This park is kept very clean they they have a nice playground area they have the vents quite often that are very nice to go and have fun, they have a very clean dog park area. They have good security and try very hard to keep people from doing drug deals going there to smoke pot and do other drugs like some of the other parks around.
I love that there are two parks split by the dogs weight. One for small dogs and one for bigger dogs. Most of the dog owners are responsible, a few are not. Make sure you bring your own water container for your dog to use or they might use some other dogs container. There are plenty of waste bags to use in case you forget yours. There is a fire hydrant and some toys sometimes for the dogs to use. Plenty of grass area for your dog to run around and get tired out from playing.
Had such a great time today for my great dane Pongo first time at the dog park. He broke out of his shyness and played with 3 other dogs. Thank you so much to the familys that went. And the love you showed my puppy.Park was clean no dog poop. Big and nice. Would recommend to any one who has fur babies.
The best public offering around, but there are a couple of downsides. First the good. Has small and large dog areas. The areas are spacious, have a reasonable amount of shade and seating. They have poop bags and collection buckets. They have doggie fountains that work :). There have been friendly folks there each time I have gone. The downsides: much of the grass is dead. Looks like some people do not pick up the dog droppings.
This is a beautiful park. I believe its one of the best looking parks in the High Desert. Not only is it one of the most beautiful parks, it has something for everyone! It has a park for large dogs and one for small dogs. It has a skate park and jungle gym for younger kids. It has loops for exercising and a big pool. It also has a special hidden fairy rock garden. There are Rock concerts in the summer for family fun. What else could you possible ask for?
Large park with a large playground area plus a large dog park. There was lots of people there with theirs dogs and their kids which was awesome! I brought my dog there to burn off some energy and the other dogs definitely helped him run it off. Definitely coming back as much as possible. Its not even the closest dog park to my house and I still choose this park :)
Theres two separate fenced areas for small dogs and big dogs. Theres usually always other people here with there dogs. Its so great! I have one small Jack Russell whos full of energy and is very friendly with people and dogs. Its so much has fun! Theres benches and a water fountain, theres even this neat feature on the bottom of the water fountain that fills up a bowl for the dogs to drink water. This place is so awesome! Nice people and super friendly dogs.
Best and safest public park in Apple Valley California. They have a very nice play area for the minis. Track to walk either yourself or your dog on a leash, 3 dog wild roam areas separated according to size of dog. Olympic size pool, amphitheater, and plenty of benches and picnic tables. It is the safest thanks various cameras placed around the park and it is beside the Sheriffs department.
We love the atmosphere of this park its a very family-oriented and Im just a lot of activities going on it seems all the time, which is great and helps keep kids busy and off the streets the dog parks are nice well-maintained A well-stocked and the people that come there are generally pretty friendly
Such a nice place to come and bring your dog. I have a german shepard I always bring and the large dog area is big enough for him to run around and fetch in. They have a water fountain for people and dogs, I usually bring a bowl for my dog. You just have to make sure your dog is okay with other dogs before you come.
I dont come here often but have on occasion over the last 4 years. The overall park is very nice and the dog park is nice as well, just a bit bland and underwhelming. Nothing for the dogs to play with or tunnels to go inside, things like that. Water gets turned off in the winter except for one hour a day, I believe. Probably for freezing reasons, I would assume. Still, I always have a good experience and my dogs enjoy spending time with the other big dogs. Generally when we take them anywhere, we take them to a place where they can run off leash, but Im not saying where that is bc I dont want anyone else going there ;)
I was really looking forward to finally visiting the Apple Valley dog park. I have to say that I was disappointed. The Apple Valley Park area has a wonderful playground and a great pool, but I found the dog park to be disappointing. I had my small dog with me and there was no bench to sit on and since Im disabled thats a problem. I had to sit on the ground and unfortunately since it was close to dark I sat where dog poo had not been cleaned up. I was really hoping that it would have some fun things for the dogs to do besides just run around and play with other dogs. While I do appreciate that the city has put in a dog park, I wish they would have gone a few steps farther. I only hope that Victorville will soon put one in so that I dont have to travel so far for my dogs.
Drove in from out of town and couldnt believe how absolutely gorgeous the park and its surroundings are. Wish Id had more time to explore and spend time. But from what I could see, it is a beautiful, well-maintained Park with family and pet areas and a lot of things to do.
Please beware if you have a pit bull or half pit breed. There is an old man who sometimes goes to this park and he has no respect for other peoples pity pups! HE WILL PUNCH YOUR DOG IN THE HEAD FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON! AND WHEN YOU CALL THE COPS THEY WILL NOT DO NOTHING BECAUSE HE IS AN OLDER MAN. AND IF YOU ARE A WOMAN HE WILL DE-GRADE YOU TO THE MAX IN FRONT OF YOUR CHILDREN. We will keep coming though!THE PARK IS AN AMAZING PLACE TO KEEP YOUR FUR BABIES SOCIAL BUT PLEASE WATCH OUT FOR THIS MAN. OLDER HEAVY SET HISPANIC MAN WITH 3 CHIWAHWAS TAKES THEM IN THE LARGE BREED YARD.
I am so glad that I stumbled on to this park not only is the dog park well-maintained and very nice and has a lot of room for the dogs to run around but I also really like that there is a section for small dogs and a section for large dogs to keep them safe and separate also the playground for the kids is absolutely amazing

2022-01-10Always love this park. The play structures are separated, a small one appropriate for littles is at a good distance from the bigger one. Theres a great variety of things to do, and they updated the seesaw when it was out of order. Sometimes we go to play at the playground, sometimes we bring a ball and play in one of the grassy fields. Sometimes we come with bikes and go around the walking path. And sometimes we bring the dog for her time at the dog park. Something for everyone! And in the summer, the Civic center pool is AWESOME!!

2022-06-20I love this dog park. I take my dog there all the time and he loves it. There is a big dog area and a small dog area. Both sides have benches to sit on while your pets play. I have yet to have a negative experience it such a wonderfully relaxing place for people and pets. 😊

2021-10-14Nice place, has a see through fence that divides the park between big dog breeds and small ones . Great grass, poop bag dispenser and trash cans around the park. My dog is really happy when we come here and on weekdays enjoys being able to run free without a leash.

2022-02-22It’s a safe place for our pets to interact with other pets and for pet owners to chat and maybe meet like minded people.

2022-04-28This isnt the biggest dog park we have been to, but it has good grass growth, shade and plenty of places to sit. I love the diggy drinking fountain they have so that the water isnt just sitting in a bowl getting dirty and slobbery. It is also close to a kids park so my son can play at the park with my husband and I can play with the dogs at the park.

2021-04-09Apple Valley actually has 70,000 people that live in it now? I remember when Roy Rogers and Trigger were up here there werent but maybe for other people hahaha but the dog park is very big its right next to a park with a lot of things for kids to do, It is Well fenced and it is big and open with a lot of area for the dogs to run. Oh yeah, and it has grass!! A lot of grass, yay oh and I almost forgot, they have multiple doggie poop bags stations strategically-placed at intervals all around the Park

2021-05-31This is a nice dog park. Most owners and dogs are friendly. Beware of a large dog named Orbit. Attacked my 4 month old great dane on 2 separate occasions biting her face and the owners are slow to intervene. Others have stated the same.

2019-02-27Ive got to be honest here. Ive been to 3 dog parks in the desert and this one is definitely one of the best. They are always very well stocked on trash bags for dogs poop, a majority of the dog owners who get there are always respectful and caring of your opinion and arent usually over protective of their dogs in regards to petting them or freaking out if the other dogs chase them around. Most of the time they just laugh and know that their playing. I can can say this park is a god send because they help my dogs come home all tired out. They have 3 benches with a few surrounding trees on the small dog park and a large dog park that has several benches with trees as covering for shade. Not to mention that the views are very relaxing and an overall great environment! Good for kids and pets! Come check it out you wont be disappointed.
