Good gym for the price. Always enjoy a clean and quick workout. The machines arent all that but there is enough to keep you fit and energetic. Oh and they are remodeling soon!
Nice and clean facility. Smaller facility but it gets the job done. Staff is friendly and greets you by name...and as youre leaving as well 👌. Only drawback that comes to mind are the dumbbells maxes out at 75 lbs. Otherwise, very pleasant place to get a good sweat in.

I just moved to Cypress and have been scouting out a gym. I came to Chuze because of the proximity and the reviews. I walked in this morning to a very clean and welcoming gym. I was assisted by Alissa, Liezel, Kim, and Alana. They were all warm in their introductions and made me feel comfortable. The Chuze crew was thorough in their expectations for the gym and their customers. Everyone in the gym was wearing a mask and was actively cleaning off their stations. I signed up immediately and am very excited to come back tomorrow!
Decent gym. Had to pay a 10 dollar day pass fee. If you have the premium member ship you can bring a buddy from Friday to Sunday. Drove from East LA areaRegular hours buddy are free but with covid they changed it up a bit to minimize a whole lot of people showing up.
Generally excellent workout space. However, its lack of bench press stations is really notable. People shouldn’t have to visit a different location to do such a basic exercise. Also, during COVID it’s a bit too crowded, with not enough attention paid to controlling the number of people allowed in at a given time.
Overall this place is fine but I hate that the sauna time is only in 15-minute increments. Not enough time to sweat unless you are already sweating when you go in. Should be at LEAST 20 minute increments. That way if you go twice in a row you have a chance of actually sweating. Fix that please.
Called today 06/16/21 both Cypress and Anaheim facilities about the mask .... The Iy both said as long as I am vaccinated?? Excuse me?? I mean what?? Then they proceeded to telling me that they encouraged members to get vaccine? Is it a joke or? I mean why Chuze fitness think they are entitled to tell what to do with my life? Do they also feel entitled to pay my bills??? Huh? The Nerve!!! I am canceling my 7 years membership!! Stfo
Clean, welcoming, energetic atmosphere. Staff are friendly and constantly clean the place. Restrooms are clean, 📺10 large monitors that has a selection of things to watch, sauna and circuit center which is my fave. You dont have to wait long for the machines even the members are well mannered and wont hoard machines 😁 10 bucks a month for regular membership and 20 if you want to bring in a guest or use sauna. When you are outta the main door, just dont look at dairy queen or Dave busters, just drive on 🤣
Very nice, clean and practical . I never have to wait to use the machines, very private sauna, massage rooms, and showers. The employees , over all make the difference: they all call me by my name and are friendly and helpful. I love it. After having going to 24 Hr fitness, Chuze is definitely a better place by far!!!I love it!!Pedro Ramos
Love to visit this gym. The people are great and the vibe is chill. I feel great when I leave. They have hydro massage rooms and an infrared sauna that are my favorite. Tanning beds are also available. Always clean. They take great care of this place. I always see the staff doing something with a cloth or vacuum.
Great gym to work at. Cheap prices, clean equipment, bathrooms, sauna. Only thing is that the last time I used t pool n jacuzzi it was nasty. T bubbles in t jacuzzi was brown n it looked dirty. I went for a pool class n I kept getting attacked by long hair n it wasn’t mine! Never again... The instructors r AWESOME, the classes r AMAZINGLY FUN!No one is there to show off or hit on u people go there to work out n that’s that! I Love it here..

The gym itself is ok and clean, but how its run is horrible. Over 12 months ago I went in to cancel my membership after I had an injury, and my doctor put me on restrictions that prevented me from going to the gym. The employee helping me cancel said everything was cancelled and all was fine. Until I noticed that I was still being charged monthly for a membership I had cancelled and hadnt been using. After speaking with customer service, they said I needed to send in medical papers. And even then they said they will only refund 2 months, even though I was charged for over 12 months, on top of the annual $40 fee.
Great gym, friendly environment. Was able to loose a lot of weight and get in decent shape. Was hit by a car while cycling and am unable to go for a while. Chuze has allowed me to freeze my account until my back and hips are recovered.Highly recommend.
Great atmosphere, excellent adherence to social distancing and mask enforcement. Everyone seems to be taking hand hygiene very seriously and sanitizing is ongoing thre while time. Not crowded either!

I recently had back surgery and after 3 months of PT I joined Chuze to continue strengthen my back and to lose some weights. I am so happy I did. This gym is very clean and friendly, it has everything you want to work out. I love it.

I love this gym. It is so clean and the staff always say hello and goodbye to you. I noticed that they are constantly cleaning the equipment the mirrors and the floors which is awesome because I cant stand dirty and gross gyms.
Previously would have rated higher, but equipment is broken and not getting repaired. Identical weight markings have significantly different resistance on similar equipment. Have pointed it out to staff, but nothings been done.
Its very clean and not very crowded, but you wont see any people who are serious about lifting here. They dont have a real bench press, free bars for squatting or shoulder presses, and their dumbbells only go up to 75?!?! Are you kidding? How can you call yourself a gym without any of these basic things? For those that are intimidated by heavy lifters who are looking for a beginners gym, this is the place for you.
I can speak about the greatness of Chuze fitness all day but this would turn into a very long post. Chuze has become my go-to gym for the past couple of years since their first opening in GG. They are clean, full of equipment, and the price is right. Team is friendly and staffed sufficiently enough. 5 stars

It is a great gym and I love it. It is very clean and low cost. But there is no free weight bench press or squat rack. Only 2 Smith machines.

Gym area is clean, friendly staff, unclean toilets, unsafe lock rooms without insurance or any liabilitymy gym bag was stolen from locker room someone took our bag along with car keys and stole our car from their parking lot

I liked this gym 3 years ago when I needed a quick lunch workout and to escape from the stuffiness of 24 Hour Fitness.Three years later, I come back and I hate this gym. I signed up for a membership before doing a workout. After my workout, I cancelled my membership the same day.There are plenty of cardio machines but if you want to lift, its not that kind of gym. Its too Planet Fitnessy if you know what I mean. I got yelled at for wearing a crop top and they tried giving me an XL tshirt to cover up because I looked too intimidating. I am not a bodybuilder nor am I a professional fitness model. I saw other women wearing crop tops and they had to pick on me.If youre the type of person who would come to a gym and be clueless, or if youre 60-70 years old, this is your gym.
An ok gym for novice to intermediate body building. Of course an extra Smith machine would be great. I believe in 9-12 months one would grow out of it and look to a more appropriate 24 hour/LA fitness style gym with more free weights.This is way better than the planet fitness in Cerritos

This is where I work out they always make me feel right at home the HydroMassage is hands-down a lifesaver after a hard workout they also have a sauna that help sweat out all of the toxins that we may have buildup in our bodies.

Best Locations is Anaheim, Fullerton westminster and Cypress in OC. Garden grove is too crowded and unders staffed so 4 out 5 stars.

2020-09-12People are great the gym is beyond clean. Equipment is spaced out or on Quarantine to limit how close you are to others. The hydro massage is rock star! Loved it! Will use the tanning bed the next time I go in (tomorrow). Very up to date. Darrah helped me and was really great. She did easily talk me into getting the premier package and even though I came in just to sign up...I stuck around for a 10 min hydro massage!! Lol

2021-12-15I have 4 clubs in my area to workout in. Ive worked out in all 4 clubs. Hands down I really enjoy the small club that is the Cypress location. The staff is friendly. The gym is clean. The equipment is in good working order. 💪

2021-08-19Prior to the pandemic I was going to Chuze Anaheim. However, with its smaller facility, clean environment, and friendly staff, I found a new home at Chuze Cypress. It was the first night the mask mandate was lifted as I cautiously walked into the gym. Having only been there post-pandemic, the friends I had made only knew me with a mask on. As I took a break on the leg press, a gym friend of mine, an older man, walked up to me to say hello. As he spoke, he kept complementing me. Eventually he reached out and caressed my face. It made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I don’t even touch my own face while at the gym. As he walked away, I played the interaction over again in my head. I needed to talk to someone about it, so I approached the front desk where Alejandro and Lillian were standing. I told them what happened and right away they knew who I was talking about. This man had put his hands on other women before. Alejandro began to write a report. He also assured me that it was a good thing that I said something and that what the man did was inappropriate and not okay. The next day the man showed up at the gym and Marie told him that his membership had been canceled at all Chuze locations. This is not the first time a man has put his hands on me in an inappropriate way, however, this was the first time that I felt that a place, and their people, actually cared. I usually will say nothing because usually nothing is done. Lillian and Alejandra listened to me, assured me it was not okay, took actions, and Marie showed him the door. Thank you Alejandro, Lillian, and Marie for caring and having my back! Chuze is the greatest gym! I recommend it to anyone and everyone!

2021-04-20Amazing! Love the fact that its not packed at 5pm in the afternoon during the week, unlike other Chuze Fitness nearby. The staff is nice like everywhere else Ive been and able to help. Cleaning wipes are always stocked and hand sanitizer is always available as well.

2021-03-29The staff and managers are pretty nice. I like how there’s a variety of equipment for my exercise needs. It’s definitely better than planet fitness if you’re looking for variety and enough machines for whatever you want. It’s clean and they also take their covid pro cautionary rules seriously. I travel 30 minutes from Long Beach just to go here!
