From WONDERFUL Borrego Springs Ca....a little beautiful town in the desert of So.Ca. the Circle is where the town holds different kinds of events throughout the year. The grounds are extremely well kept despite our water shortage crisis. Borrego is a AWESOME place to live. I love my community. They help when tragedies occur. 🏜🌈💋😍
Cool little area. It not really a park with a playground or anything like that but its a nice place to stop and sit on the grass. We like to stop here and eat our lunch when we come out and hike. Its cool to have some trees and grass and just chill. The bathrooms are nice and clean and there are some benches to sit on if you dont want to sit on the grass. Have been coming here for years and will continue.
This is one nice oasis where puppies and children and people of all ages meet real green grass, ahhh. The park is located within the best traffic circle in the world. Lots of parking and easy walking to shops and restaurants. The Bargain Barn is close by and full of gently used Borrego Springs treasures! Happy somersaults!!
This Circle Park was a bit of a serendipity. We were visiting desert spring flowers in Borrego Springs, and had packed a picnic lunch. As we drove into town looking for a place to eat, lo and behold, the main traffic circle is set up with picnic tables. It happened there was also an art show going on. So for us it was perfect. There was shade, there were water fountains, there were picnic tables, and there was plenty of parking on both sides of the circle even though a major event was going on.
Christmas circle in Borrego always reminds me of that scene in the Griswolds European vacation. Stuck in the endless circle & cant get out. Haha! With that being said, it is a cool spot to have a packed lunch or enjoy a snack you picked up in town, while taking in the scenery. We normally stop in that area during the winter months. We like to check out the artworks that are around the area. Most can be seen from the roadway but, there are well traveled trails to get up close. Fun way to engage with nature & explore new parts of the desert. Most standard cars can make it. Just go slow & take ur time. Borrego springs is a beautiful area, help keep it that way. Take out what u bring in. It takes a tribe. We always enjoy our visits down there. Im sure you will too!
Borrego Springs very cool little desert town weather is getting good and its going to be nice till spring go check it out rusted iron desert sculptures other activities for the heck of it or Borregos Rams Hill to check the golf course and their facilities then back to Julian only 30 miles!
🤣 2019 super bloom Christmas Circle Borrego Springs. 🤣 its a beautiful day going to be just perfect 77° today 80 degrees tomorrow in the desert. Crispin clear beautiful nights you can see all the stars out here. And in the daytime just tons of flowers and green green Green!....Ive been coming out here since I was three years old. Its rained over 6 in in the desert this year you will never see it the screen ever again in your life I would bet!... flowers everywhere greener than youll can imagine. Its Saint Patricks Day weekend!... Ive been also off-roading up Coyote Canyon to Cougar Canyon Coyote Canyon last weekend it was all graded you could drive a normal car up there very very beautiful flowers everywhere and green green Green!...
Every year at the end of October, Borrego Days begins. This event has been reoccurring for over 50 yrs. The 3 day event begins on a Friday and lasts through Sunday evening. There is an annual Miss Borrego Springs Pageant prior to Fridays kickoff and then on Saturday there is a 9 am Parade. Thru the weekend, there are vendors selling various items such as handmade jewelry, drinks, food, speciality items, toys, a jumper for kids ALL & more at Christmas Circle! I went on Sunday this year and there was a very popular & famous live band from Sinaloa, Mexico. Great Music! Lots of people dancing! Enjoying themselves and sharing with one another! After all, we are a small town of approx. 3500 people. There are many restaurants you can eat at when you come to Borrego. Like Carlees, which has a bar, pool tables, Dinning area, Music & Karioke. Theres Pablitos Mexican, Jilbertos Taco Shop, Kendalls Cafe (Which is my favorite place in Borrego, eat in or order by phone for pick up, carry out) El Borrego Mex, Red Ocotillo ( the Hamburgers are SUPERB), Palm Canyon Resort, which just recently changed there menu (and I think it was great and easier to order) and prices very reasonable. They have a Saloon where you can order n eat there as well.. (employees seem intuitive and always smiling) So, put it in your calendar for next year and come on down and enjoy, relax, unwind and share a memorable weekend as a family!!!

2022-03-22Drove to Borrego Springs and came across this roundabout in the middle of town. It has restrooms that are clean and a gazebo area as well. You can park around the Christmas Circle Community Park which also has plenty of shaded areas and benches. We had a picnic under a tree which was very cool and my son and I threw around a football after our lunch. Nice to relax and enjoy the scenery if you’re ever around here.

2022-02-02Christmas circle is the Borrego community gathering center. Even if no formal activities are going on, it is an oasis lunch picnic spot in the desert, with restrooms.

2020-10-05Fun place to stop and check out the sculptures peppered throughout the grounds around Christmas Circle Drive.Though the attractions were closed to the public we pulled over and watched them from a distance. The pictures below were taken last fall when we were there pre COVID.If you are headed to Palm Springs from the south end, stop and check it out. Neat little desert town with a few dining options.

2019-04-26We loved stopping here after hiking to have an amazing picnic and a beautiful 360 view of mountains and beauty all around us. We even enjoyed free WiFi: password on bathroom mirrors. I have two questions though:1. Why is it called Christmas Circle Park?2. Why doesnt more towns have a cool park like this in the center of them?I highly recommend packing your igloo and having a picnic with your sweetie or loved ones here!

2018-07-26Great place to stop by on the way to Salton Sea or Salton City. We had a family picnic before trekking the desert highway.I loved the way Borrego Springs maintains this traffic roundabout as a public park. It’s well worth the stop and shop around to support the park. The lovely trees will thank you.

2021-03-20A unique park where the lawn is made of clover. This is a nice shady spot to get out of the sun and stretch your legs and maybe meet some dogs and their owners
