Absolutely stunning! I have been to many different trails in southern California but this trail is exceptionally beautiful. Hills are all green covered with yellow flowers. Is a popular trail for bikers of all level. Highly recommended!

The hills were a sea of green and yellow. I must have missed the poppys as I didnt see any. I saw hikers , I saw people on mountain bikes and I saw a young lady riding her horse. Im assuming all 3 are encouraged. Also on the way up there I noticed the Fran Pavely Meadow. It was a small corner of the canyon but it had a grassy area with some probably very old Oak trees. It wasnt hard to see why it was protected. Mrs Pavely was my science teacher back in Middle school in Moorpark in the 80s. I had no idea she had a Meadow named for her but it seems fitting she was a great teacher.

Rolling hills clothed with Yellow mustard flowers and high blue sky with cumulus as well as some good friends, wonderful time to refresh body, soul and spirit. It is the right time to visit. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Now open during the pandemic. Hiked on Saturday and there was parking at all the lots from 830 when we arrived to 1130 when we left. Tons of wildflowers still blooming. Oak trees are doing great with shade along the trail. We went as far as the sulphur springs without problems. Have a mask with you, but we were never within 100 feet of another hiker. Passed by a lot of families on bicycles who were having a great time.

What a fantastic experience mountain biking through a few of the trails in Cheeseboro Canyon with my uncle. Although the Woolsey fire had caused much destruction to the bridge and surrounding areas, the trails were reopened. The views were stunning and it was quiet despite the Ventura Fwy not too far away. I particularly enjoyed seeing the dog walkers and horseback riders as we whizzed by.

Always nice to bike in the area. A lot of climbing. Some technical area.

Relatively easy trails rewarded with beautiful panaramic views. Tall, grasses that can get tight at points. Be sure to carry repellant or check for ticks after.

Great for hiking, biking, running and horse back riding. Can have a lot of traffic during certain days, so use caution when passing and keep dogs on the leash. Several trails ranging from easy to difficult, bring plenty of water, can get hot! Snakes, coyotes, bobcats and ticks in the area..

Some of the best mountain bike riding in the area. Lots of single track and fire road. You can loop into the Ahmason Ranch area, link up to trails in Thousand Oaks and Simi Valley and get an all day ride and pick up 3K or more of elevation gain if youd like. Great stuff for all skill and fitness levels.
