My daughter wedding was beautiful.We looked at a lot of places to have her wedding. They worked within my budget and it was wonderful. It will be a day she will never forget she said. Beautiful inside and out. They made it a wonder land.
Excellent venue and really unique experience. It is truly a living museum. A great place to have a wedding or party. Hope to go back again for another event soon. Staff was really friendly and the chapel was so beautiful. Ballroom was super elegant. The whole place is really classy.
We had an adorable baby shower for one of our own Event Planners at the Old Town Chapel. The downstairs area was perfect for what we were looking for. We needed a blank slate for our theme. The photos turned out adorable. Having the kitchen next to us was wonderful. The team at the Old Town Chapel was kind, warm and accommodating! We will be back. I was so excited to see this place from the start. It has such a unique vintage feel and so versatile! The owner John is very accommodating and friendly. He handles everything very professional! I felt very welcomed from the start. I am so excited to get married here, I cant wait!
I really enjoyed past events ive attended here and future events i will attend i will be having a coed shower soon and i cant wait to see how every thing will turn out. John the owner is a very flexible and talented person he has turned old town chapel into something really beautiful to enjoy your special day with your family and friends. Was so amazing and blessed me and my soon to be husband with jaw dropping prices. He helped us out so much. He understood about our godson having autism he through in a bounce house for free. He customized the dining area to fit my wedding theme colors. And gace me a great deal on the chairs and tables. I cant thank this man enough for literally being our fair god mother and offering go put together the wedding of my dreams. This man is great and the church is so beautiful. I cant wait to hangout in my brides tower
An excellent spot to host parties or events. Very friendly and helpful on-site staff. Owner is flexible and looking to make ones experience most memorable. The neighborhood is...borderline with respects to safety and security, however, the spot appears to have a good and working relationship with its community.

Absolutely the worst wedding experience possible! My daughters wedding was at 2:00pm and the owner booked a second wedding at 3:00pm rushing us out! My daughters great grandmother had a difficult time walking and the owner literally asked if she could hurry up because the next wedding was starting! Do yourself a favor and find another location.
I have had the most amazing experience with John Kilby at The Old Town Chapel. The venue is beautiful and should be Considered for your next event. John pays close attention to the details about your event and accommodates you in every way possible. I wont use any other venue. We have 5 events per year and you will always find us at 601 Niles for those events.
I would get married every day just to use this venue. John, Brandi and Steven were amazing. This beautiful historic location was perfect for our country chic wedding. A+++
This establishment is very élégant for your enjoyment recommanded for your shindigs like a baby shower birthday parties weddings , its a family oriented place for get togethers and it has an outdorsey peaceful environment to it. There is also a childerens area for their enjoyment. Booking at the old town chapel is highley recommended. John the owner was very helpful with our parties.

The chapel is a really special place with extraordinary people. They create a seamless day. There is nothing else like it in Bakersfield. It is a unique tuscan chapel with timeless charm. They have done a great job adding antiques and the perfect romantic elements. The baclground for puctures is perfect and they have an antique bell to ring in your special day.
This historic venue provides a great vintage vibe for any event. The owner John and the staff are very friendly and attentive to their guests individual needs. I highly recommend this venue!

The worst sevice ever the event we was outside the dance floor was a joke so small there was no room for everyone to dance.not to mention the staff was so rude laughing at my mother for pointing out a mistake they made with the table count we didnt even didnt get to use the bride room or the bell tower we also paid for .dont go there waist of money .

2021-06-28Brandy and all the staff created a beautiful atmosphere to celebrate the life of my mom. The flowers, tables were beautiful and the food delicious!! So happy I chose to have this important event at The Tower. If you go with the Tower you will NOT be disappointed!!!

2020-02-12Just got married there on Feb. 1st!! Had such an amazing experience! They are literally the only venue we checked out here in town and they hooked us the minute we walked in! The chapel is so gorgeous!!! I immediately fell in love! Brandy and John were so helpful! I literally couldn’t have done it without them! They were so on top of everything even though we had a few wedding mishaps ;) I truly enjoyed my experience there and can’t wait to have my baby shower there when the time comes!! They get an A+ in my book hands down!! I had the most amazing day!

2019-07-24This was a wonderful place to have my daughters wedding. The facility offers a lot of rooms for the bridal party to use for the event and to get ready. The pictures she took in the Bridal loft were beautiful. John was great to work with and very accommodating and fastidious to ensure that our requests were met. He has done upgrades in the yard which made it a lovely place for the evening reception. The chapel has a lot of charm and would be a great venue for you to consider for your event.

I felt like they went above and beyond for me and my guests. Cant say enough good things. The chapel itself is a beautiful historic landmark. Very clean and classic. The decorations and style are spot on. If you are looking for a beautiful place with fabulous people then this is the place to be.

2019-08-28A really extraordinary place. So much charm and beauty packed into this antique building. It is like a little castle out of a fairy tail. The building is brilliantly executed with period decorations. The chapel Is simple, elegant and beautiful. There is a ballroom and a courtyard for parties. I have attended several parties here. Recently a fun cocktail party with friends. The decorations and setup were really stunning. Really impressed by how well things are pulled together. The staff were very friendly and engaged all the guests. This place is a must for your next party.

They were so kind, professional, and helped us with whatever we needed to ensure our event was a success. 2019-09-15If your looking for a classically beautiful place with sooo much charm this is it! The chapel is really a gem. Loved all the antiques and authentic feeling of the place. Really great court yard for events and an elegant ball room. Thoroughly enjoyed my time there. We will go back soon for another event.
