We had the exterior of our house painted. John was there everyday on time and ready for another full day of work. One day he even brought me a blueberry muffin 😊 John was very meticulous about his work and it showed. I recommend this company and if your lucky enough to have John as your painter you will not be disappointed.

They did not finish their job. They were to paint the interior of the house, fully. Contract included inside closets. These were not done. On frequently touch surfaces should have been painted with a more durable high finish paint was not done. Months alter filing a complaint they contacted us asking if they could come the next day to finish the job.Sorry but we opted to use Oceanside Painting to have the exterior painted and finish the job. I would recommend using Oceanside Painting.

We used Certa Pro Painters of Carlsbad to paint our stairwell.It was honey maple spindles and banister and looked outdated.We were so ready for an update and chose Certa Pro to dothe job for us. We changed the honey maple bannister toa beautiful soft gray and the spindles white.It was a big job – 160 spindles!Jeremy bid the job and Tanner and Francisco were assignedto do the work. They were both friendly and accommodating.They chose to spray the spindles which did give a smoothand polished look, but overspray caused the gray floor at thebase of the spindles to feel like sandpaper.This was not so good BUT Certa Pro stood by their word thatthe job would be completed to our total satisfaction andanother crew was assigned to correct the outcome.now the finished stairwell is polished and smooth. Aguiles,the project manager, provided excellent instructions andthe job is now done to our complete satisfaction.
My experience was very positive, from the office staff to the painters. The clerical worker was extremely efficient; she promptly answered all my questions and scheduled the job at our convenience. The painters were prompt, professional and courteous. They cleaned up and I am truly satisfied with the end result . Our neighbors have come by to admire the painting.Our pride walk /inspection took place shortly after painting was completed to guarantee our satisfaction.
CertaPro did a good job, showed up on time, were available to speak with. There was one issue, I had doors painted on the interior, the painters forgot to have tinting added to the paint so one days painting was wasted time and had to be redone. No extra charge was added, but it was a days time setback.

POOR CUSTOMER SEFVICE!I had my deck painted in the spring of 2020. My spring 2021, the paint was peeling. I called about getting it repainted, and received POOR response. Phone calls were not answered, messages were not returned and email resulted in no replies. Eventually, the inspector visited the house and promised a repaint; a date was scheduled. The painters never came. After many calls, I spoke to John Snyder (the owner). He took paint samples and sent them to the lab for analysis. He promised a quick reply, and two months later, Im still trying to contact him.

I highly recommend CertaPro Painters of Carlsbad. The quality of the work was superb and Arturo did a great job! This was a relatively large residential job and Arturo managed different aspects of the work to best accommodate other work being done on the home. We worked with Michael, Arturo and crew and everyone was great. Michael showed up on time for the consultation and was honest and up front. He was easy to get a hold of via phone and email throughout the whole process. The painters patched up some areas that needed stucco and completed painting the outside of our house, deck and fence in four days and did a great job. They were professional and I would highly recommend them. We will be painting the interior of our house soon and will be looking to use them for that project as well.

Very impressed with the team who carried out painting the exterior of my house. The foreman, Achilles (hope it’s correct spelling), kept me informed on a daily basis of what would happen on any given day. The job was complicated by bad weather and unexpected structural complications requiring extensive repair.Luis did a fantastic job of updating an old wooden front door, a job requiring patience and expertise. Rafael and Jose were equally efficient and always pleasant and cheerful. I couldn’t have asked for a nicer crew to be working on my property, they kept a clean and neat work place, I never had to do any clean up. CertaPro Painters in Carlsbad is a fantastic company. The price was reasonable, but the best part was the painting crew. They were very respectful of my personal schedule and worked around my time availability. I had the full exterior (siding, window/door trim, facia, soffit, stucco, etc) of my 2000 sq ft Carlsbad house painted by CertaPro. The process of getting a bid and getting the house painted went smoothly and I am happy with the results. I scheduled the original appointment online on the CertaPro website. Josh showed up on time and the walkthrough was quick and painless. I had 3 painters bid on the job and Joshs bid was reasonable and in line with the other bids I received. The job started on a Monday morning with a power wash of the exterior. The prep and painting started on Tuesday with a friendly crew of 3 and finished mid-day on Thursday. I highly recommend CertaPro painters.

I found out about the local CertaPro Franchise through Angies List. They had great reviews so I decided to give them a call. It was Josh I ended up speaking with and scheduled to walk the house. I felt very comfortable with Josh due to him being very knowledgeable. He sent me a quote that same day and the price was fair in comparison with the other quotes I had received. They were able to start within a week of our first meeting and completed a quality job in three days! The crew was courteous, respectful and stayed in communication with me through the entire process. Another vey important aspect of why I chose CertaPro of Carlsbad was that they are a legitimate paint company, i.e. licensed and insured. There are a lot of jokers out there that advertise they are licensed / bonded, but not insured. We will use CertaPro Carlsbad in the future should the need arise.
Josh was very prompt in making an appointment for an estimate. The estimate was thorough and the final job came in just as expected price wise. His crew (two painters) were very kind, helpful, professional, quick and clean. They removed and then reinstalled all of the draperies, moved all of the heavy furniture. They made sure that all exposed areas were protected so no paint splatters could occur. They made sure the painting was perfect and as a result the ceilings were painted three times. They made sure that all concerns were addressed and were happy to make any changes requested. We couldnt be any happier with the job.

Horible, dishonest, extremely high cost for the work that their workers (day laborers) did, they did not do what I asked for, instread they did watery spray paint which some washed away with rain. The owner did not even show up to supervise or see the work. They took 50% or more of what I paid and gave the balance to the laborers for their time and material. When I complained, I was threatened. Extremely dishonest.

2021-12-30I used CertaPro Painters of Carlsbad to paint the entire interior of our vacation home in November 2021 and I couldnt be happier with the outcome. I especially appreciated the professionalism Jeff showed from quoting the job thoroughly all the way through to completion. He came to the job site often to ensure everything was going smoothly - he was a pleasure to work with and the accuracy of the quote and scope of work required ensured no surprises. Luis and his team did the actual painting and they were excellent in their quality of work and the product used. Their expertise was outstanding. The excellent communication with everyone made the job run efficiently and on schedule. I even changed the paint color after day one and they accommodated me without any hassle. The whole process went smoothly from front to back and there were no deficiencies. Luis even provided me with a list of my colors and finishes for future reference. Its not everyday you make friends with your contractors but we did and it was actually sad to see them go when the job was done.

2022-05-11JJ from CertaPro was awesome. With Covid going on, these guys had to deal with employees out, wood repair guys out, supply shortages, etc. They still got everything done as promised and quality did not suffer! My wife and I are super happy with the results. Our house looks fantastic with the Navy Blue/ white trim. They used top shelf paint, the guys were very nice and professional and cleaned the perimeter perfectly afterwards. I got some cheaper quotes from a few moonlight painters but the reviews were not so solid. CertaPro has the reviews and they are spot on! Well worth every penny.

2022-05-11This company came out to assess and give estimate promptly. They understood what we wanted and started work when they said they would. The guys who painted were very nice, polite, on time and friendly. They stayed on task and worked efficiently. They asked appropriate questions and answered each one when asked. They cleaned up the area each day after work. We were very pleased with the whole experience. We will definitely use them again.

2022-05-25When I bought this home (in Fallbrook) it was a big steal! It was only after I moved in I saw why. On the lower ends of the walls there was a lot of darkened colors while on the upper ends there was fading from the sun. There was also these weird white splotches on the wall, I took a photo because Im not sure what they are. Maybe some kind of repairs? Anyways, I called CertaPro and they refreshed my home exterior with a clean uniform paintjob; a more dark yellow, which is a lot better than the faded walls I had when I moved in. The guys were nice, attentive, and very professional. It was honestly stress free; I just pointed them to the places I had concerns and they told me how theyd fix it. Fantastic work!
