We would like to thank Ed Wilson for his kindness, patience and help. We went into Camping World knowing pretty much exactly which RV we were interested in. We were in the process of getting all our ducks in a row and had questions about how to go about making it happen since we had a fairly recent purchase of the wrong (for us) RV. Ed had the perfect RV for us, answered all our questions in great detail and was actually able to make it possible for us to purchase our dream rig and do so within our budget. The entire experience was not stressful and actually enjoyable.
Not your typical Dealership...... We have been looking for a trailer to fit our needs for over six months. I have been to countless RV Dealerships, even other Camping Worlds, but the team at Camping World FRESNO is top notch. Not pushy, but very informative. Easy to work with from start to finish.
We had a great purchasing experience. Bart made it easy to come in and didn’t pressure us at all to purchase. Gave us some time to decide and when we finally did he was there every step of the way. Overall a great experience, hopefully it will continue throughout the ownership of our coach
We just purchased an RV yesterday from this location in Fresno. Ed Wilson was very helpful with all of our questions and had no problem showing us around while we were trying to make a decision on our purchase. We will be picking our rv up next several days after it has been detailed and the few items that need to be fixed is complete. I will update after that. Over all I would definitely recommend this place.
Our first RV purchase. Staff have all been friendly despite some setbacks in communication and a few issues to be corrected with the trailer before we take possession everything has ran fairly smooth. We were especially impressed with our walk through with Nick Hogue. He was friendly, patient, and professional. We would like to see how the follow through and follow up goes and we will update this review.
The staff consistently bad mouths competitors, which is interesting given that they do the exact same things they accuse their competitors of doing. Their service dept is terrible. Refused to fix any of the minor issues our new trailer had within the 1 year warranty period. I ended up fixing everything myself in 1 day for under $200. If you’re expecting good customer AFTER you buy your RV, you are going to be very disappointed buying from here. I’d go up the road to Best RV that has cheaper prices.
Marcus Travis helped me purchase my trailer remotely. I live several hundred miles away. He took several calls and FaceTimed with me so that I could look at the trailer. Everything went smoothly. I was able to drive up, and had a scheduled Pre-Delivery Inspection. A tech went over the features of the trailer and how to use each item. I signed my papers and was on the road quickly. Everyone at Camping World in Fresno was polite, friendly and helpful. It was definitely worth my drive and I would recommend the dealership and store.
I love my experience with Camping World. From the moment I stepped on the lot, I was greeted by Marcus with smiles and an amazing attitude to show us whatever we wanted to look at. He was committed to making us feel comfortable and encouraged us to look at mutiple trailers so we would ultimately be happy with our decision. Then dealing with finance guy Jeoff was awesome as well. Jeff was honest, upfront and extremely helpful. Ricardo that did our inspection at pickup was knowledge and was willing to show us exactly how to use everything on the trailer as well as details about when things should have maintenence. Nick with the final documentation pieces was genuine and was engaged to make sure we were happy with our purchase as well as happy with our service. Ive been to many trailer lots and Camping World by far has the best team to get you what you desire in trailer.
Have been really disappointed with the RV we got. Sales team was good and got us out the door, but the work they did the prep the camper has been awful.EVERY plumbing fixture leaked because the pipes were not fully screwed together. The most egregious was the tub, where the fixed pipes was put in at a bad angle so that the adjustable pipes could not be properly seated. This must have been seen by them because instead of just plumber’s putty, there was caulk in the threading of the fixture. This caused the tub to leak out the corner of the RV every time it was used, and the worst was having the insulation under the camper pouring out water onto the ground, which has likely destroyed the insulation. We noticed this while at a campground and I had to drive an hour to get to a hardware store and try to stop the problem until we could get us serviced under warranty.The earliest appointment they had was 6 weeks out, and we use the camper throughout the week, so I’ve had to try and patch together something to limit the water damage on the floors from getting any worse.Not that it’s their fault, but the water heater also burned out a motherboard while we had guests staying in it, so they have cold showers (which leak below the tub).This just is too much to go wrong in the first 2 months of owning a brand new RV they inspected and prepped for us.
If I could Leave no stars I would. Service department is a joke no one ever calls you back no one knows anything. I have been trying to call the finance department Spoke to Nick gave him my number its been a week no call from him, my next step is to call Corporate they have caller ID there so block your number if you even want them to answer your call. Something as simple as a recall they dont bother i have to call the manufacture to see where i can go to get my recall fixed They are happy to sell that RV once after that forget it impossible this place is trash would not ever recommend this place to no one.
Service Service and More Service! I would like to express how well Roxanne and Stephanie took care of me. I bought a new 5th wheel and as with any new trailer there was some warranty issue that would need to be handled. These two ladies were right on top of it from the beginning. They made me feel special like I was the only customer they had to take care of! While I know that wasn’t the case, it was refreshing to feel that way. They kept me informed all along the way, through the ups and downs that can come when you are waiting on parts from the manufacturer. As someone who owns a travel trailer, a toy hauler, a 5th wheel and a class A Motorhome I am extremely familiar with the headaches that can come when trying to get parts. And as someone who has so many vehicles I know what to expect when buying a new trailer or coach. These two delivered beyond my expectations and as a result of my interactions with them, my trailers as well as all my friends will only do business here!! If you are looking for next level service look no further!
We had stopped at two other RV sales and they were not as friendly or helpful also more expensive. When we rolled up here to camping world Raul was there at the gate greeted us and gave us a ride on the property. We were so pleased from walking in and looking at trailers we ended up purchasing a trailer!We are now first time RV owners.#HappyCampers. The Demelo Family.Thank you Camping 🌎 world!
Darren and Mario both helped us find a motorhome to meet our unique needs with family members with disabilities. They could not have been more kind and compassionate... and committed to helping us find what we needed. One or the other of them was available via text right through the weekend.Nick was patient and great with the loan paperwork. LaWayne in the service department has been very helpful and a nice addition to the Camping World team. Julian was a great resource in figuring out accessibility and Bea was amazing in helping us figure out how to make entry into the motorhome safer for our son. Thanks Camping World!
If I could give zero stars I would. I purchased a 2021 Forest River Sabre 37FLH from Camping World in August 2020. In August of 2021, I took the RV to Camping World of Fresno for some manufacturer repairs. Keep in mind that this Camping World is the closest to my residence at an hour away. I advised the service advisor, Lawayne, that I would be needing the RV back in October 2022 for a trip. The week prior to the trip in October, I called Lawayne and he related that they resolved most of the issues and that I would need to bring the RV back for other repairs once parts came in. Lawayne advised me that he would contact me when the parts arrived. After returning home and looking through the RV I found that Camping World Fresno had my RV for two months and resolved none of the issues on the work order. After not hearing anything for two months, I began contacting Lawayne in January 2022. He advised me that the parts had not yet been delivered. I continued to contact Lawayne several times a week, every week until mid March when he finally advised me that the parts were in. I advised him that I would call back the following week to schedule an appointment to bring in the RV. When I called back, Lawayne advised me that they had lost/misplaced my parts and related that they would need to be reordered. This is when I got in contact with the service manager Josh. He related that he would get right on the issue and locate my parts. I continued calling Josh and Lawayne several times a week every week until late April 2022, when they advised me they located my parts. I scheduled an appointment for May 2nd and told them I would be back on May 11th to pick up the RV. Josh and Lawayne advised me that would be plenty of time to make the repairs. I called on May 9th and left a message for Lawayne confirming my pickup day. He never called me back. I called again on May 10th and spoke to Lawayne, who related my RV was being worked on as we spoke and that the repairs would be completed before I pick up the following day. I arrived on May 11th at approximately 2pm to find that the repairs had yet to be started on my RV. I was furious to say the least. Josh offered to have my truck topped off for the inconvenience caused (Approximately $30). I related that I was more upset at the fact that I was lied to and have been given the run around for several months. I have spent countless hours on the phone or leaving messages just to never receive a return call. I work graveyards and had to wake up earlier than desired to drive an hour just to find out my RV was not ready for delivery. The least they could’ve done is simply request more time rather than waste mine. There is no common curtesy here. I am very disappointed in how my service issues have been resolved and would never recommend anyone buy an RV or take an RV for service at Camping World. A formal complaint has also been filed with the Better Business Bureau.
So, kind of an update from a previous review. On 12/5/21 I took our Thor M/H in for repairs, the kind that always show up with a new m/h. Some of the repairs were serious, like hot water heater not working, warped door, and water pouring in through the windshield which they supposedlyfixed 2 months before but didnt!. So 4 months have passed and its not fixed yet and they say we have to get it out of their lot, Unfixed and theyll fix it when the parts arrive. We live 80 miles away and driving back and forth would be too expensive with the gas prices now.So we check with Thor and the parts havent been ordered yet. I try calling the manager Jay and hes always away from his phone...? So obviously I give this review a 1 because you cant give Fresno camping world a ZERO!! Not happy and would never buy from them again!
Do not buy from Camping World or Dutchman Coleman RVs. They do not stand behind there products, salesman lie about warranties, website clearly says service is open on Saturday from 9-5 and they are not. All around horrible experience. Good Sam they sale you is also a joke dont fall for it.
I would leave zero stars if I could. We came to check out campers to purchase & when we approached the office the lady at the desk stated all campers were open & if we needed help we could find a salesman on a golf cart outside. There were no salesman’s out in trailers & it was a waste of time. Customer service is horrible.
Just bought my first camper from them. They have a lot of trailers, RVs, and 5th wheels to choose from. I enjoyed walking through all of them before deciding which trailer fit my needs the best. If I ever buy another camper I will be coming back to RV World because everyone there was nice and answered any questions I had especially Marcus who walked me through the buying process and made sure I was buying a trailer I would be happy with.
Joey H. In the service dept. Was very helpful in getting approval from Keystone to replace the bedroom door in our fifth wheel. He was very considerate and got prompt approval. I received excellent customer service from him and we had bought our trailer in another state. I highly recommend him for any service needs.
This is the second trailer purchased from Campig World. The salesperson was professional and courteous. Staying attentive to customers needs. Salesperson Pat Fraser went above and beyond. Pat, listened and located us the perfect TT that fit our needs! Checked all the boxes. No pressure, I/we didnt feel rushed at all. Pat stayed in touch throughout the entire process, making it quick and easy. Thank you, Pat. Youre the BEST!!!
Bart made our experience easy and pressure free. We visited several rv dealers and came back, to buy from Bart. He was able to get us the travel trailer we wanted in the the price range we wanted to stay in. When we picked up our trailer, the service gentleman (i can’t recall his name) was helpful and efficient. Our finance guy was awesome as well. He gave us all of our options and made sure we got sufficient coverage for a price we could afford. Overall, excellent service. We are super happy with our purchase. Thanks again!
So far the process has been pretty seamless! Bart Harper made himself fully available to answer all of my questions and took time to go over my options when choosing a small travel trailer. The application process was quick and painless. So far I’m very happy with the amenities that camping world offers when purchasing an RV or trailer.
Went looking at trailers on Saturday 12 had MarioBautisa help us told him what we were looking for, was shown a couple models that we liked, went to rv country ended up coming back. to camping world . Picked one we liked did the paperwork gave us a good price on our tradeFound the the same trailer in another Camping World location at a lower price, they price matchedPick the trailer up next Saturday so far very satisfied.
The only reason my experience is NOT getying a 5 star is because of the parking and employees in the parking lot.First we had an issue with our surge protector, called in the warrenty and they said it would be 6-8 weeks because of shipping delays. So I called the camping world in fresno where we were staying. Spoke to Meressa, she was able to speak with management and they allowed us to exchange the surge protector in store.She was super helpful and sweet.Now the reason for the 4 star.... as we pull around the corner there was a sign RV parking entrance. Follow sign in and we are side by side RVs can barely maneuver to just turn the corner. I jumped out and did the exchange. When I came back out there was a group of me on there little carts just chit chatting. I looked around to try to figure out how to get out, cause there was no obvious way. There was a truck and trailer that looked like it was being inspected on the corner that we need to turn into to get out. I asked how long they would be there and was rudely told it will be a bit, so I asked again about how long are you thiking cause we are just trying to leave and cant turn this corner cause the trailer was there. He again slightly rudely said 10min or so.All this time there are 3-5 guys still just sitting in there carts watching us try to maneuver to get out. Not can I help you, let me move this RV back.... nothing....We finally were so fed up with everything and waiting more than 10mins we were able to maneuver enough to backup all the way out of the parking lot. Again at no point did any of the employees say anything or offer any assistance.Meressa deserves a 5+starBut the parking lot is a -1 if I could give it as well as all those people that were just standing around watching.You employees need customer service training, maybe ask Meressa for help with that!
Would not recommend buying the extended warranty from these guys. If you take your trailer in expect to wait several months after leaving it with them. I’ve been trying to cancel my extended warranty for over a month now because I’m selling my trailer and the financial officer keeps putting me off and ignoring me everytime I call. Worst management I’ve seen in an establishment
We have had our coleman 202rd trailer for one year 1st water pump went out the first time we used trailer it took 4 months to get the trailer back now theres a recall on propane regulator and Ive called 3 times to this camping world they dont have the part I called the manufacturer they appalgised and have a new regulator being shipped directly to me in 2 days I do like the trailer just buy from anywhere else thats my warning I should of listened to the negative feedback its spot on
Our purchasing experience was great! I love how they leave you to look at the trailers for yourself, they are not hounding you like typical salespeople, and are available whenever you do need them. Tons of inventory, prices are good. They gave us great advice of how to go about our specific financial situation and did everything they could to get us the price and payment we were looking for. Also LOVE the store! We will definitely be going here for any and all camping needs!!
We just purchased our first travel trailer from Camping World in Fresno and it was a great experience. We had other lots trying to lure us in with low website prices and then saying they dont have that item in stock or the price is actually higher. So we were leery when we called, especially since we live almost 2 hours away. Geoff sent us several listings and we found one that we really liked. We were able to work out a deal over the phone and get the ball rolling. Geoff sent us the application link and video called me to walk through the camper to get a better look at everything.When we arrived to pick up the camper, we were met with Gary, who was already getting it set up for us with the hitch. They installed the hitch and brake controller on our truck as well, while we were there. Carlos gave us a really helpful and detailed tour of our trailer and Bianca was also very helpful with warranty questions. We found a couple of issues (likely caused while on the lot) and they took care of them while we signed paperwork. Nick helped with the financials and he was very helpful. Dave also gave some helpful input. When it was time to leave, Gary helped my husband hitch up the trailer and showed him how to work the hitch and jack.They treat customers well at Camping World and that seems rare these days. Thanks to all of you guys for your excellent service! We will definitely recommend you to anyone who asks.
We are so impressed with the customer care. They really did help us to find the perfect, home away from home. We are so, excited to start our adventures. We dont have to worry about hotel rooms or being uncomfortable, we have our little slice of heaven thanks to camping world. Jeffrey is a great salesman no pressure just really patient and kind.
Where do I even begin?! I cannot begin to express my level of gratitude, first and foremost, to my wonderful sales guide, Ed! Ive had the pleasure of working with Ed for little over a week now and have nothing but positive things to say about my experience. I never once felt pressured and I felt confident in his knowledge/expertise of the trailers he was showing me. He was so incredibly respectful and fun! His respect for me and my family (as respect is big deal for me) also was the driving force to come back and work exclusively with him. We just bought an Rv with Camping World and couldnt be happier with the experience. The sales team were very helpful and worked hard to get us the best deal. They will also show you how to drive the vehicle before you take it off the lot and answer any questions you may have.
We had a fabulous experience at the Fresno Camping World. From Nick helping us find the perfect RV to Carson hammering out the final sales paperwork, we had top notch service! We stopped at the big flash RV place next door first and they CANNOT compete with the Camping World team! Highly recommend stopping by the Fresno site and letting them help you find your perfect RV!
We initially reached out to Camping World through the website to confirm inventory, and within 30 minutes received a call from the national office, and the next day received a call and email from the Fresno store. Both calls were very professional, informative, and not pushy at all. We made an appointment the following week to view a few trailers and everyone at the store and sales side were very knowledgeable and friendly. We toured several models with Geoff and and he had a great knowledge of the inventory and which units would fit our needs. He was incredibly respectful and gave us all the time to discuss privately that we asked for. We truly had not planned on buying a trailer that day, but Geoff just made it so smooth and easy that we did end up buying the trailer we dreamed of!
The staff at camping world was the best! I shopped ata few other places and found it very difficult to get the help I was looking for! I came into camp world and literally in 1 hour found what I was looking for and got the financed process started. Raul and Patrick were extremely helpful and very patient as we considered the various options. I recommend camping world for your next Rv purchase!
We stopped by Fresno Camping World while traveling home to stretch our legs and window shop. We had a few wants and needs that we were looking for. Salesman Bart Harper showed us a few 5th wheel trailers and let us explore on our own. He later checked to see if we had any questions. Needless to say, we bought the perfect 5th wheel. We are proud owners of a 2021 Bighorn. Bart was great, he was kind, friendly and knowledgeable. There was no pressure to buy and the sales transaction was quick and painless. Highly recommend Camping world in Fresno. Pat was beyond helpful, he took his time to listen to my wants/needs and to show me different options. He went above and beyond to meet my expectations, and made the buying process so much easier than I anticipated. I will be recommending anyone looking for an RV to him.
We want to thank Darren from the Fresno camping world for helping us purchase our 1st trailer. He was very informative and was so friendly. He made us feel like family. We would also like to say thank you to Glenn from the Bakersfield camping world. He is the one who started our camping world journey. We just so happen to be passing thru Bakersfield and stopped and Glenn was great. We are so sorry we couldn’t purchase from Glenn with all of his great info but he made it possible for us to stay in the camping world family. Camping World has some great staff who really know their stuff!
Friendly, knowledgeable staff, with lots of inventory to choose from! Great experience, as I am very picky, and they were helpful to show me the different trailer layouts! Willing to match or beat the price of other close RV places. They keep their inventory current on their website, unlike others. Would definitely recommend them!!

If I could go lower than 1 star I would. I bought a new trailer from them hot water went out on second trip. Tried calling service manager 4 times left messages and finally called me back.told him the problem I told him I taked to tec support on the phone said the control board was bad. So he said he would order the part from Amazon and it would be here Friday got no call so I called him said it wasnt in yet. So waited till Monday no call so I called then the said he was not there and they knew nothing about it. So me and my wife went down there and asked to speak to genial manager. After waiting 15 minutes ask us to come to his office then tells me I have 10 minutes very rude I tried to stay calm but he didnt even want to hear it so I got real upset and left. But my wife stayed and tried to take to him and he told her that he didnt care if we got our trailer fixed and he was not going to help us.very disappointed in service there they dont care about their customers. I would not recommend them for anything.
Overall had a decent experience buying our rv there. They did have to send us home with a broken trailer brake but we’re able to get it fixed. But if you are a new RV owner and have to bring it in for service they have almost zero room to maneuver, especially with a bigger rig.
We finally did it and bought a trailer! Thanks to the help of our two friendly and very helpful salesmen. They showed us all of our possible options and helped us make the best choice. They were patient and caring. He even shared his protien bars with us! Definitely recommend shopping here!
Went to pick up trailer after repairs. Although there were some bumps in the road I’m pleased that the team stayed past quitting time to handle our situation. In doing so they made two more satisfied customers leave happy!Thank you to the service department at Camping World Fresno!
We received excellent service from the staff at Camping World today. Mario was professional and helpful, listening to us and then working with us to purchase the RV we were dreaming of. Our paperwork was completed and approved quickly, and they made sure there were no questions about the contract before we signed. Came in today looking to purchase my first camper, salesman Ed Wilson helped us in every way possible to get me into the new fifth camper I wanted. After a bit of complications with the banks, Ed was able to give us over a $7,000 dollar discount off the price of the camper and worked hard to get us an awesome monthly payment. If your looking for a new camper Camping world is the place to go and make sure to ask for Ed Wilson.
They kept my trailer for a week I finally got things done that I asked him to do but I dont want to have the trailer for two months I thought that they had some kind of a dealer warranty to fix a little defects that I found after I got the trailer but unfortunately they dont and I had to pay hey couple of hundred dollars or more to get almost $300 to get what I wanted done and I didnt think that was right I think they should have fixed those things they told me they would fix them but they didnt so anyway I wont bother to take my trailer there in the future Ill find someone else to work on it
Had a great experience purchasing our first toy hauler. Our salesman was awesome helping us find the perfect floor plan for our needs. Pick up of our trailer was on point with the tech giving us a thorough walk through of everything. Would definitely recommend to family and and friends!!!
I went in looking for a specific model and with the help of salesman Bart, I found it. Loved it right away. It was a fairly easy process of seeing if I was qualified and everything. Whole thing took like an hour because I already knew what I wanted. But Bart was awesome and helped us the whole way though.
From the first time we went Camping World . My family and I really has a great experience in purchasing our first Travel Trailer. Just bought our dream RV and had a great experience from start to finish. We live 4 hours away and Pat was easy to talk to regarding the pricing, appointment scheduling, and all the information we needed to give. Our walk-through was ready when we got there, even though we were early. Kevin was incredibly knowledgeable during the walk-through and later assisted in a last-minute question we had. Dave was honest in financing and didn’t try to upsell, which I despise. Everyone was open, friendly, and eager to help. Btw, their financing was the best out of a few choices we had, plus we got a hefty gift card which we promptly used in the store. Great people, great service, great experience! Thank you!
We enjoyed working with Nick Chavez, our sales rep. He was upbeat and low pressure with good product knowledge. While we would have preferred using our own bank to finance we went with theirs to get a better price. It wasnt an issue because its an easy fix to get the loan to our bank.The walk through went well with Ricardo who noticed the bathroom door needed adjustment. He said he would have that fixed. Arrived at this location and there was no signage to direct me to service. I had an appointment scheduled, showed up early and was told that they would have to check with dispatch if they could preform the service (install TPMS). They took my rig and after 2 hours told me they could not complete the service due to items being too big. I had no problem going else where and having the service completed. I would not recommend service however, the store staff were helpful with a return and purchase of items.
Had a great experience today. Went in with an idea of what kind of trailer we were looking for and the staff nailed it on the head! Great service and knowledgeable individuals. Thanks for the new trailer and cannot wait to put it to use! Geoff and Raul were great 👍🏻 Thanks again Camping World!!!
I had to come back and change my review. Yes, initially we had a great experience. They had trailers ready for us to see all within our price range and Geoff at camping world Fresno was amazing. We took the trailer out for its first trip and the side panels were starting to rip off. We called to have replacements ordered they said they were going to take care of it. Fast forward to our next trip where our roof was starting to rip off. We turned around drove straight to camping world where they stapled it back together. Quick fix I get it but those staples ripped out the second we pulled on to the freeway. They have dodged all our calls and all our emails and it wasn’t until we went to the shop to get some answers. Our next step is to contact corporate. In summary, do not buy at camping world.
Went into Camping World with my family looking to purchase our first trailer, we had been to 3 dealers previously. Before stopping in, I called and spoke with Pat to see if they had any used trailers as we knew what size trailer we wanted and the price range and were not opposed to used. He was super helpful over the phone. We arrived and he had just gone to lunch but we were greeted by Raul who showed us a few used ones and answered our questions. We ended up leaving as first time trailer buyers! We were in and out with paperwork, no more than 30 minutes! We pick our new toy up next week and hope to have the same friendly and efficiently timed customer service! We’re excited to plan our first trip! Thanks Raul and Pat 😊

Being completely new to the RV community, the staff of both the store and sales where tremendously helpful as well as patience since we had to attend to our 3 year old as well. So impressive we decided to purchase a RV. Lots of benefits both in joining the membership as well as military discounts on top of membership discounts. While shopping for necessities for our RV a salesman walked us through everything and ensured we didn’t purchase unneed items. Great Experiece !

Had a great experience yesterday shopping at Camping World In Fresno, Ca. They were having a Labor Day sale and I was in the market for the Rhino rv waste tote with steering. When I got to the store I realized the ad said it was an online sale only. I asked one of the associates, Meressa if they would still be able to honor the sale even though it clearly said it was online only. She was very friendly and helpful and found a way to honor the online sale and prevented me from having to order my tote online, wait 24 hours to pick it up and having to drive back home which was 45 min away. She made it work and was very accommodating, thank you Meressa! I am new to the rv world and this is my fourth time coming to this store and I have yet to have an unpleasant visit. I highly recommend doing business with the folks at Camping World of Fresno, Ca.
We recently purchased a Class C motor home from Camping World and were very satisfied with the overall experience. Our Sales Representative Bart Harper was very helpful throughout the whole process and we did not feel pressured or rushed at any point. We outlined our budget from the start of the process and Camping World worked with us to make the numbers work, including taking care of the trade in. All the staff at Camping World was very helpful, including sales, service, and finance. For example, we wanted to put roof vent covers before leaving the store on delivery day. However it was late in the day and service techs were getting done with their shift. One of the supervisors went above and beyond and had someone stay after hours to take care of our request. After driving home I realized a wheel cover was missing and Steffine Rendino (Service Manager) was very prompt in returning my call and taking care of the missing part. We hope to continue doing business with Camping World and wish others customers same level of service.
My husband and I were looking for a travel trailer and weren’t 100% exactly sure what would be the best fit. We walked around for a while and then The best salesmen came up to us Gary Grasmick! He was so helpful, informative and charming! He made my kids feel welcome and directed us to the perfect trailer! We can’t wait to pick it up Thursday and start our many adventures!!! I had a great experience to start our process on our first travel trailer. Our sales person responded to my email quickly and gave us clear description on how our process works. They were also very patient with waiting on my responses. Our sale person was on his day off and still help me with our loan application and questions. I am very impressed with there sales help. Raul Segura welcomed us immediately. He listened to all of our wants and must haves that we were looking for in a trailer. He provided excellent information on each trailer regarding the pros and cons and genuinely seemed to have our interest in mind. As he says he’s not a salesman, he’s a tour guide! He was so patient and went the extra mile! Darren helped us with our paperwork and was very clear, friendly, and explained the entire process to us. Overall, it was the best buying experience we’ve ever had!
DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALER:I was almost beginning to detest my RV purchase from this dealership if it wasnt for THOR customer service, who ended up resolving most issues. This dealership should have helped my family. Someone needs to check if this dealership pays people to write positive reviews or have acquaintances do it on their behalf.Service and Parts: No effort so no stars here.1) Bianca Paz seemed nice in person. We pointed out many issues with our new RV asked for parts to be ordered. She confirmed they would be delivered to my home. She doesnt return phone calls or emails promptly. For all the calls I made to Camping World Fresno trying to reach her. She never took most phone calls or followed up despite leaving messages. If she didnt get those messages then the receptionists arent doing their jobs. Its like pulling teeth to get help from this department.2) Joshua Ray Service Director of Camping World Fresno. 3 stars for at least responding to emails providing some options to try to resolve the customer issue. Full transparency, I had to reach out to Campaign World Headquarters to get responses.Sales: 4 stars for Ed and Marcus from sales seemed nice over the phone. Surprisingly, I didnt get to meet the folks who sold me my RV in person when I went to pick it up. Post sale, when we ran into many issues, no follow-up was made to see how our experience was or what they can do to help.Finance: 5 stars for David from Finance, who was knowledgeable and helpful. The paperwork and transaction were smooth and easy.
My husband and I just purchased a used travel travel from CW Fresno and we experienced excellent customer service from Geoff and Darren. When I was finally ready to commit to buying, after several weeks of looking and waiting, they were ready to assist us at the drop of a hat and got us into a trailer within our budget that meets our needs. Trailers are a hot commodity right now, but the Fresno location has the best stock of several dealerships that we looked at. Can’t wait to pick up our trailer and get to camping!
Great buying experience. Went to pick up an accessory and came home with a new Mallard Travel Trailer. Nick Chavez was very informative in all the different models & brands. We bought our first RV today at Camping World of Fresno and it was easier than we thought. We’ve been looking online for months so we knew what we wanted. Our sales guy Geoff Roush asked us some important questions and got us our RV we wanted and got it lower and threw in some packages. We had been looking for a travel trailer for a few weeks, when we came upon one on the Camping World of Fresno page. Another Camping World closer to our home had a trailer we were interested in, but they were not easy to work with, and we could not work out a deal with them. Our sales person at Camping World of Fresno, Geoffrey Roush was easy to with, he helped us out along the way to get the paperwork done, and to get the trailer ready for our purchase and delivery. We live in Nevada, and traveled 5 ½ hours to make this purchase, because we could not find the sales person, or the deal any place close to home.
We just purchased our very first travel trailer and after first visiting another location and receiving the poorest of poor customer service help at that location, it was very nice to immediately be greeted by Darren when we arrived at Camping World. He was very attentive to what we said our needs/requirements were for the trailer and was sure to show us as many trailers as he had available without feeling any pressure that we were an inconvenience to him and his time. We haven’t picked it up yet, so I can’t comment on that experience, but I am hoping it will be as pleasant as the purchase step.
Revised: We recently had service done and are pleased with the excellent customer service. I think our initial issue was related to a very busy time due to COVid and people buying RVs in response to isolation.We just purchased a RV from Camping World of Fresno. We feel mixed about our reviews. If we were just reviewing our salesman, our financial manager, and the salesperson in the store that helped us first time buyers pick out essentials we would give all fives. However, the pick up process today was disjointed. For one it seemed they overbooked the pick up process even though we scheduled pick up a week ahead of time. We arrived on time and then waited a long time. We were walked to the back of the service department to walk through the RV. We didnt receive the same congratulations sign that other buyers got. We had been promised floor mats from our sales person that the walk through worker said he would take care of as well as a curtain put back up that was down. Neither of them happened. When we went to leave the keys were left in the ignition and the customer service and follow through to the end was not adequate. Again, it seems that they overbooked pick ups today and were unable to offer quality customer service to the end.
Unfortunately can’t rate zero stars. This place is unreal! I can not believe the level of incompetence and blatant disregard for customer satisfaction, craftsmanship, customer service, and the trust of their customers. My trailer has been back into their shop 3 times as of tomorrow. They were asked to complete a few warranty issues as the trailer was new when bought. They claimed after a few weeks they were complete and others they refused to do. Once taken home realizing that what they claimed to do was not complete, we had to take it back to them again. Then over the next 3 weeks called us claiming our trailer was complete 3 separate times only to arrive and they tell us our trailer was not complete to come back again. We finally got to pick it up, (not to mention they brought me someone else’s trailer and told me it was mine) we took it out the day after picking it up, and once again nothing that they claimed they had done was complete.
We went into camping world with my in laws and we purchased TWO trailers from them. The sales men that helped us were VERY nice and knowledgeable of everything we asked them about. I am SUPER EXCITED about taking our trailer out for our first trip!! I would Definitely recommend them for ALL your camping needs!!
My husband and I visited Camping World and we were helped by Mario Bautista. He was friendly, knowledgeable and not at all pushy. He helped us pick a trailer that suited our family and we didn’t feel pressured to buy on the spot. We will definitely be referring any family and friends who are in the market for an RV to Mario at Camping World.
Unfortunately, I am disappointed, once again, with Camping World. My partner and I are full time RVing and, since buying our brand new 2021 GeoPro less than a year ago from Camping World, we have had numerous repairs needed. Although they could not find the time to help us with our repairs, we thought the Parts Department at Fresno could help us. They would not. Although they helped us find a few possible parts numbers for the part we needed, they would not order the part for us. Even after explaining that we didn’t have an address to get it sent, the Parts employee told us he would not order the part and we could “… I don’t know; get it sent to a relative or something”. I felt very lost on options.
We were cruising in the area and decided to go “Look” at an RV. We were greeted by Salesman Pat, and let me tell you, he is very good at his job. Very respectful and overall a great salesman. We would’ve never thought we were gonna walk out of their owning a brand new RV. Thanks to all of the Camping World staff in Fresno! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for reasonable prices on a RV. Ps. He also threw in a lot of accessories for this purchase! Great job!!
Well i am 100% disappointed i chose to purchase my rigs from here. myself and my husband went to look at a rv that was similar to one we liked on line. well in less then a hour we saw that ons and a 38ft fifth wheel trailer we liked so even tho close to 400,000$ we said fine let’s do it . they delivered both our rigs absolutely filthy assuming after spending 400,000 they would at least keep their promise of a simple detail or wipe down, nope . then not even having our rv for a day we noticed the side out was not working we called service they where so rude and talked to me like i was a dumb we take it back and they say the motor on the slide and something else is bad . well long story short a month later still no rv .. had to cancel our two vacations we had booked and no one can tell us anything! we just waisted that much money and have nothing to show for it. the 5th wheel came delivere with so much damages they just said it’s been noted . have yet to hear when it will be replaced or fixed we having even used it so who knows what else is prob wrong with it. anyways i’m very unhappy i do not recommend trusting them with your purchase . since they have been paid their customer service is pretty much done!
Showed interest in camper from website, immediate contact from camping world along with a tentive approval before making long drive. Another day later we have a camper. Great staff speedy process and all questions were addressed by our knowledgeable salesman. Great experience!!!
We had such a great and easy experience at Camping world. We went to a different lot and got the run around but camping world made it really easy to find the RV we wanted, get financed, schedule our walk through and pick up date. Our salesman Gary was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We would definitely recommend them to everyone and wished we would have gone there first, keep in mind we have 4 boys with us and they were very welcoming and patient with us.
We had a wonderful experience . We were welcome as soon as we walked in. Stephanie in service was very helpful . Bart was our salesmen he was very helpful and got us into our new camper. Everyone treated us like family. I highly recommend coming to camping world for anything you need for ur RV.
After months of looking and deliberating over whether to buy an RV, we finally decided on one. With all the bad reviews we read about Camping World on the internet, we regretted having to deal with them, but they carried the RV we thought we wanted. Although we haven’t taken delivery of it yet, we made a deal with Camping World in Fresno, CA. We had done most of the deal over the phone, including agreeing on a purchase price, but we were still expecting hidden costs and hard sales on extended warrantees, gap insurance, etc. We went into the dealership prepared for the worst. But the salesman, Ed, was knowledgeable, direct, and honest. He was helpful and spent a lot of time with us. When he later handed us the purchase order to review, we were a bit surprised that it only included what we had agreed to with tax, lic. fees, and no hidden costs. I can’t say that I’ve ever enjoyed the experience of negotiating and buying a new car or RV, with all the back and forth and worry about getting taken advantage of, but so far Camping World in Fresno has surprised us, except for refusing to give us any type of receipt for our refundable deposit (they said they had never done so and suggested instead that we use our credit card). Other than that, the interaction was a surprisingly positive one. Hopefully, they will now provide adequate service.
We had Raul and from the moment we arrived we were treated like family. We had a great experience and were able to leave with an RV that will bring a lot of memories for us and our growing family for years to come. Raul went over and beyond all expectations. Would highly recommend coming here and asking for him.
I would ABSOLUTELY NEVER recommend Camping World to anyone I know. They were great when it came to making the sell, very attentive, answered and returned all phone calls promptly and made the process very smooth. Our salesman Geoff was great. BUT once it leaves sales and you start having issues all customer service goes down the drain. On our 1st trip the panels on the driver side started blowing off on the highway. I had to stop and buy duck tape to hold them on for the remainder of the trip. I advised camping world of the issue. I was asked to provide an email with photos in which I did. I called and left 5 voicemails asking for a returned call letting me know the email was received and got nothing back. 2 weeks ago we went on our second trip (still with panels duck taped) and the roof starting blowing off 40 minutes into the trip. I called camping world but of course couldn’t get anyone in service to answer. I had to turn around and drive all the way to Fresno to talk to someone. They did a “quick fix” to allow us to go on the trip (which we were thankful for) until the parts come in to fix correctly. 1/2 way to pismo the roof was catching air again so I called the service manager to let him know what was going on and got no answer. Left 2 voicemails asking for a returned call. I had to ho to a trailer sales lot in pismo and ask for their service department to help me find a way to get it patched enough to make it home which they did. I have been calling and leaving voicemails daily, asking the receptionist to leave notes on the service managers desk and still nothing. I did get one call back during a meeting and returned the call 20 minutes later but of course never got through. I even went as far as calling the corporate office but still nothing. I just canceled a trip for this weekend 6/18 because I cannot drive the trailer like it is, and will likely have to cancel my birthday trip on 7/9 if we have not received help by then. 30k trailer, still stroking payments, but having to cancel trips and can’t even get enough courtesy from their upper management to just call and say hey, we are sorry this is going on and we will do what ever it takes to make sure you continue to be able and use your trailer. This was supposed to be a happy purchase for my wife and kids and has been nothing but a nightmare. Shout out to their sales team as they are great, but the lack of compassion and communication from the service manager has literally made this a horrible experience. Spending money out of our own pocket to get it fixed and bring home, canceling trips, kids ok summer vacation and now our summer as of so far has been put on hold due to camping world. This is pathetic, and although the state does not offer a lemon law on trailers, federal does, looks like camping world would rather go legal on this than to just return and call and pretend they care. You guys should be ashamed of the customer service you provide.
Meh. Its all right, but Camping World really has to work on its whole way of doing business. The prices are high and confusing because what you see marked is not always what you pay at the register and what you have to do to get the prices that are marked is not always clear.That said, its good to have around so that you can get what you need quickly rather than ordering online and waiting a couple of days.

Highly recommend anyone thinking about buying a camper to go to Camping World of Fresno! ***UPDATE*** although the customer service was great, 2 months after purchasing my 2021 heartland pioneer, Im having a slew of problems with my camper. We took our camper out for the first time and none of the connections under the sink were tight. Woke up to a huge puddle in the kitchen area and looked under the sink to find standing water and water damage. Took a look at all of the connections and they were all loose. Tightened them up and stopped the leaks. The trailers running lights have a short. Blows the fuse in any truck I hook up to. The battery cover wasnt installed properly from the dealership and it blew off the day I took the camper home. Sure. That could be chalked up to my fault for not checking over someone elses job. Overall, I am very dissatisfied and disappointed with my purchase. I moved to washington and the closest camping world to me is too far for me to bring it to to utilize my warranty. So thats awesome.
Great experience! Me and my husband bought our first trailer and all the staff was very helpful, friendly and patient. The lady who works inside the store at Camping World was so informative and really showed us attention. And we love our trailer. have yet to use it but cant wait!
My husband and I were just looking. There was no pressure from any of the sales people. We saw a toy hauler on the lot on Saturday, went home and talked about it and decided to go back the next day. So we walked on the lot knowing exactly what we were going ro purchase. Our sales guy, Ed Wilson, was great. He worked with us on financing. And still, no pressure. We walked out of there very happy customers. All of the staff there are friendly and knowledgeable. Always enjoy going there.
We started the process online and did the financing application to have us Pre Approved. Edith reached out to us VIA text, and was really nice. She set us up with an appointment with Bart, who was so understanding in what we were asking for. He heard us, gave us realistic expectations and never tried to push us to something out of our price range. Horrible experience even though we bought a travel trailer from them, people were disrespectful and rude! They took there time on everything which we were stuck there for 5 hours! Our trailer was missing cupboard doors, which took alone an hour for them to install! I can go on and on, but wont be coming back and will let others not to waste the time or money on this place!
Camping world has great customer service. We purchased a used Winnebago and they had it ready to go with all the repairs that needed to be made on time. We also loved being able to take advantage of the extended 3 year warranty. Ed was very helpful in answering all our questions and we know by the way he treated us, that they care about their customers even after you buy from them!
Truly the best sales experience we’ve had. Ed was laid back but very knowledgeable. He went above and beyond our expectations we came in looking for one model, were shown that one & comparable models that ended up fitting our family’s likes, needs, & budget better. The whole process was quick but thorough, from walk through to final sales signature!
I spoke with the salesman Edward over the phone, to ask questions about a unit I saw online. He was very helpful and Knowledgeable. He scheduled us an on-site visit to check it out in person which he showed himself. Again he was very knowledgeable and helpful with all the questions we had. There was no pressure and we felt comfortable. I will recommend them to friends and family.
Professional thru & thru. Helped us with our first family travel trailer. Knowledgeable & patient staff. We walked in knowing very little about travel trailers but left with a much better understanding. We told let them what we wanted (budget, size, etc.) And they found us the perfect match!
Camping world had a wide selection of trailers, which made it hard to choose the right trailer for my family needs. Lol! The salesman Nick Chavez was a great person to deal with and he made it easy with showing us around and all the paperwork when it was time to buy our first trailer. I recommend buying from camping world.
Good selection of what we were looking for,salesman, Marco, was very helpful. No pressure, answered all questions, went over options. All the other staff that went over the paperwork and buying process were very friendly and patient and helpful. My wife and I have been searching for a specific RV since the beginning of 2020. After a year of searching we decided to start looking further out from where we live. I called down to Camping World of Fresno and spoke to Geoff. Geoff informed me that they had just received the exact RV we were looking for and was very knowledgeable about the RV. The Place very clean and the trailer that I bought is very Satisfactory I am happy with my purchase. However many things went wrong, . They did NOT Do what they said and I felt like a second rate customer at some points. The main thing was the driver who dropped it off. I felt like I was bothering him I know it was hot and it was the end of his day however this is not the way to treat people. When you buy something from them be careful to watch the Call process from start to beginning. The gentleman that that help this you to walk through with fantastic in the cashiers were great. But the people that tried to sell me the other stuff just gave me anything because when I got the trailer none of it went to the trailer. If I do buy another RV it will not be from Camping World.
We saw the lot from highway 99, pulled over to check them out. Got out of our car, and saw 4 golf carts of sales people 2 in each one. We have never bought a new RV, have a retro one that we refurbished and want to upgrade to one with slide outs.No one acknowledged us, no one communicated with us. We walked up to 3 golf carts with salesmen sitting inside. My wife asked, So we have never shopped for a new rv and am not sure how this works. Do we just walk around and look inside the ones we like or does a sales guy show us. The sales guy says, Well you better hurry up because we close in 10 minutes.Rude abrupt, no one else said a word.My wife responded, oh so thats why people are ignoring us.To make Matters worse, she called the GM to explain how bad that is for costumer service and all they had to do was greet us and let us know they were closing.He pacified me, tried to justify their behavior. Then he started to tell me it was my fault for not knowing exactly what I wanted and its not the salesmans job to walk us around. That people dont like to be talked to.As a person who is in sales, I know how sales work. That was not our complaint, and we never told the sales guys that we encountered that. Even if we did, so what. Isnt your job to sell?Apparently if I want to see different types of RVs to see which one would fit our lifestyle better, its not the salesmans job to give us a tour.At this point I said, Well at least I know why your sales people are the way they are.The conversation took many loops and turns in his attempt to manipulate the conversation to cover his guys and not be accountable for the rude, unprofessional behavior we encountered.We told him we would NEVER GO BACK and would tell our friends, family and let others know who may consider buying an RV to take their business elsewhere.
We had a wonderful experience purchasing our brand new Thor Motorhome at Camping World of Fresno!Mario was our salesperson and he was awesome! He was efficient and professional. Adam and Bianca in the Service Department were amazing. Adam was very patient with us and explained every detail of the motorhome to us. Bianca’s customer support is second to none. We had a slight problem and she did not stop until she researched and solved our problem without giving up. I highly recommend this business.

2022-02-25After shopping around for a while I decided to go with camping world in Fresno (specific model). Set up an appointment, unsure if I’d be able to get everything done the same day or not. Not only was I able to get the paperwork done and take my Travel Trailer home but the process was very smooth and everyone was friendly. Longest part ended up talking with insurance for what felt like an hour, definitely won’t do that again last minute.

2022-02-17The service department, including the lying service manager, is a bunch of incompetent, cheats. I spent over 6 months trying to get a few minor warranty issues resolved. After they said they had the parts, I took the coach in and left with nothing resolved.Also, take care to get a written estimate for any work. The menu board in service hasnt been changed in a long time (according to service writer Joey). I asked for an oil change which by the board was $164.99. When I picked up the coach they tried to charge $360.00. When I complained, they magnanimously knocked it down to $260.00. Dont go here unless you absolutely have to. Very poor attitudes from everyone we came in contact with.

2022-03-18When I went to Camping World, I had looked for so long and so many places. I told Ed, the salesman who was working with me, exactly what I was looking for; I had specific desires, I wanted a 5th wheel to include a small room to put my computers since I work from home, an island in the kitchen area, a full closet in the master bedroom and bathroom next to the master bedroom. He showed me several units then took me to one way in the back of the lot (there are hundreds) and it was exactly what I was looking for! I couldnt believe it! He was able to work with me on the price. The whole experience from working with Ed negotiating terms, to the finance department, to the sales clerks that helped me pick out the items I would need were awesome! Also, Kevin who walked me through how to use everything on and in the unit was great as well. The whole experience was easy, no pressure, no stress. 2022-05-11We bought our first travel trailer from camping world and had a good experience. Our sales rep was knowledgeable and friendly and wanted to find us the perfect fit. Our rep for financing and insurance was thorough and helpful. When we had our walk through the awing did have a rip but camping world fixed this at no cost. Overall would recommend.

2022-01-15We had a great experience with Ed. Much better buying experience than with a different dealership. We began the process on-line with finding the trailer that we had seen at a show a few months back and asking to see if. Ed had it put front waiting for us when we arrived all ready for us to look at. There was no pressure to buy and he showed us a few other units that were similar but in the end we wanted the one we had seen previously and had inquired about. The trade in process was very easy and Ed was able to get us a great deal on our trade in.

2022-07-05We had such a great time at Camping World of Fresno. First off we decided to walk around and the employees were all so nice and helpful. We than rode around with the salesman who was very friendly and showed us around to what it was we were looking for. Once we narrowed down our search Geoff made the rest of the process successful.
