I feel the need to share the facts of our experience so others can make an informed decision. The community, residents, location & amenities are great. The apartment conditions & those that work in the leasing office, sadly are not.If you have an ESA prepare yourself for a stressful, intensive & unnecessary process of plenty of paperwork for legal. 5 years, 3 states, multiple complexes & I’ve never experienced anything like this. Our ESA paperwork was approved 3 days prior to the start of the lease. We were never notified & the lease was never sent. It took calling for 3 days to get the lease on the day the lease started. It had to be sent multiple times due to errors with names & date inconsistencies.I notified our Justin at 11AM that we would be arriving between 1:30PM & 3:30PM so that he could have our keys ready. Arrived at 2:30PM & was greeted by a woman with a HUGE attitude who “had no knowledge of the move in” & then closed the door in my face. I knocked again irritated this time & after a 20 minute wait, no Justin, & a whole lot of attitude I finally got the keys.Day 2 we started to notice quirks that weren’t disclosed during the leasing process. These quirks include things being done with little effort, no cable jack in the living room, a washing machine that shook loudly & wildly, a broken ice maker, broken bathtub plug, the studs in the wall to mount TVs were messed up & not the standard 16 inches apart, no hardwood floors in the bathroom or backsplash in the kitchen as promised, very old windows that didn’t close properly & it wasn’t clean.Day 3 our front door/lock completely broke & splintered. Emergency maintenance came to temporarily fix the door until a new one came. They were great. A comment was made that this wasn’t the first time something like this had happened with this door. It has been over a month & a half since the door broke & it still has not been replaced. They have chosen to be negligent. We emailed our concerns for all the issues. Two days later - no response. Sent a follow up email. Four days passed - no response. Sent another email to make it very clear this wasn’t acceptable & we wouldn’t wait any longer. A response finally came from the Community Manager, Jen. Justin chose to hide from the issues & never apologized. While Jen was apologetic, she didn’t offer any solutions & did nothing but make excuses for everything & everyone. She scheduled maintenance to fix what they could. Jen said her management, Essex, wouldn’t approve anything which I personally find hard to believe, but if so, they have no power to help you on a property level so good luck!As far as what was promised to us that wasn’t received I was told I was asking for the impossible & was made to feel I was the difficult one, even though they promised backsplash & hardwood floors & I offered to vacate so they could fix what needed to be done. Jen refused this solution. I mentioned we had to spend $200 on a WiFi extender & $200 on an Apple TV in order to get WiFi & TV throughout the apartment due to the lack of cable jack where it should have been. Her response was she was “really sorry you had to spend that amount of money to get tv in the living room.” I was also told that each resident apparently moves the cable jack where they want it & that was out of their control. I have never heard of this is my life. The rent should have been renegotiated since the apartment wasn’t what was sold to us & they refused to make it right. Instead we were offered the opportunity to break the lease free with a $155 concession for the poor service/inconvenience. While $155 was better than nothing it was a slap in the face considering everything was their fault & they knew we had spent $400, plus the cost of moving again & the awful service received from her staff. For the poor level of service, limitations & difficulties reserving amenities & quality of the apartments for the cost I do not recommend living here at all.

I only gave this apartment one star because at times, it can be very convenient to live here with where it is located. Besides that, I would live anywhere else but here. They do not support military, what so ever! While underway on deployment, they ignored every single email I sent. I knew they were ignoring me because I would have my friends and family email them and they would respond quickly. They only follow certain parts of their lease, only the ones that benefit their company. I made them aware that while deployed and without my knowledge, my roommate at the time moved two additional people in the apartment without my consent. They did not care because at the end of the day, they were still getting their money. Ive been trying to get in contact with this apartment complex since February of this year and they have ignored all emails. If you are military, most likely assigned to a ship, this is NOT the place for you. They do not care. they tried to tell me that even though I had a deployment come up last minute that they have to keep me on the lease, which makes no sense at all and is against the law.

Nice apartments. With that being said parking is terrible the spots are very small even for a compact car.I was told upon check in that we could park at the office then i received warnings and tickets for parking there. One month i was double charged rent leaving me broke and over drafted when i called there accounting office they werent too concerned and said “there nothing we can do about it till Monday” this was a Thursday after noon leaving my bank accounts locked up until the following Wensday. Nice apartments like i said before however parking and service is piss poor. The payment process is very sketch.

Quiet and nice location. Only problem I had were squeezing into tight parking spaces. Other than that, the maintenance team were excellent. Anything I have needed of repaired got done either same day or next. Leasing team is extremely helpful. And amenities are great.

Cambridge Park is a great apartment complex in a beautiful area. People living here are in the military, dog owners, couples, and families. Ive lived in a 1BD/1BA for 2 years and have had a wonderful experience. Many reviews here are one-off cases which are important to consider but should be taken with a grain of salt, so this will cover general things I think prospective tenants would be interested in.Pros: Dog friendly (dog waste stations throughout complex and in Stonecrest Village), friendly neighbors, nearby walking path, beautiful area with tree lined streets, generally quiet and safe, no issues with noise from neighbors (just one shared wall, and is dependent on who your neighbors are), a park is within walking-distance, Walmart/Vons/Petsmart/fast-food are nearby, close to 15 freeway, a gas water heater for each apartment (located in storage closet on balcony), in-unit washer/dryer, A/C, living room ceiling fan, USPS package lockers (Amazon/UPS/etc deliver to your door), and nice amenities (tennis court, pool, spa, gym).Cons (if I had to nitpick): Some airplane noise during the day, single-pane windows (condensation could result in mold/mildew), recycling/trash bins can sometimes fill up quickly (maintenance team goes around regularly to empty trash bins), some assigned parking spots are very small, street parking is on W Canyon Ave and W Canyon Terrace so may need to walk 5 minutes if living on the far end of the complex, some car break-ins (check crime maps, but is much less than surrounding areas), landscaping can start early (7am?) but not a big nuisance, and no gas stove. Pretty much all I can think of, but none would keep me from living here.Management: Respectful and well-run leasing office, do their best to keep us updated on things like gym openings/closures due to COVID guidelines, used to have fun community activities pre-COVID (trivia night, wine and paint, etc.), maintenance is quick to respond (within a few hours for simple requests like bathroom lightbulb replacements).Rent: Currently paying $1900 for 1BD/1BA. Make sure to negotiate when applying or renewing. Being a good tenant helps!Utilities: Electricity metered individually, water/trash/sewer is metered per building.

If there is negative stars i would have given that 0 star rating. We faced Ring n RUN situations midnights around 1pm, 2pm even some days it was around 3pm. Initially we thought it was by mistake. But they did it intentionally. We brought this situation to the management and they told us to call courtesy patrol. Again this happened today midnight @2.10 they rang our doorbell like multiple times and ran away immediately we called the courtesy but that is not the solution by the time the patrolling is here the ‘Ring n Run’ is already happened and they were no where to be seen. Having a 2yr old at home she wokes up crying everytime this ‘Ring n RUN’ happens n this is not an easy task for me to make her go to bed again. This is not the first time we faced such kind things. We didn’t have peace of mind staying in this community. And I would definitely NOT recommend this community anymore there is no proper response or action from the management. We pay our monthly rents in timely manner and we expect the services to be really helpful which didn’t happened.- Community pool heaters will be turned off earlier without even prior notice. And then they send you an email saying that from next week onwards the pool heaters are off as part of power saving program in winters.- Bugs keep on coming. We had the pest controlling like 4 times till now. Still we face the same problem. Lots and lots of spiders everywhere. The month that pest controlling is done we don’t face any issue but again after couple of months we could see them again. Even 1st day when we shifted here there were cockroaches and spiders everywhere and we asked the management for pest controlling.- (Renter shifted now) We faced another trouble from the guy above us who lives on 3rd floor. He used to throw the cigar buds in our patio everytime he smokes. He doesn’t even use the ash tray all that ashes settles down on our belongings or plants or tables. He even used a bucket of water in his patio (which is not allowed) who lives on the 3rd floor to clear his dogs pee or whatever. All that water fell in our patio and our belongings were wet. We brought this notice to management they just came over to see the water and left. I don’t know what actions they took we had faced the problem till the day that tenant left this community. Now we have a good neighbor n no cigar buds anymore.-I appreciate one thing about the community was Event’s (before pandemic).- Management doesn’t come forward with a better solution to help the renters. When we pay our bills on time and doesn’t disturb others privacy we EXPECT the same..

Not a good value for your money, at all. This apartment complex is very overpriced. The staff is pretty clueless as to anything you may need help with. Maintenance, when they actually show up, does a good job fixing all the things that they didnt properly fix before we moved in. ANTS are a big problem here, and even after a major spraying by pest control, they have returned. The residents almost never clean up after their dogs, and so what little patches of grass that are here are covered in poo and dead spots. Parking spaces here are a joke. If you own a mini cooper, go-car, or smartcar, then you can most likely fit into your parking space. Otherwise, you will barely be able to fit your car in the space. If you have less than caring neighbors, you end up with a new door ding every few weeks. Save yourself a huge headache, and look elsewhere. Oh, and by the way, the pool is NOT saltwater, it is full of chlorine, and nobody showers before getting in the pool or jacuzzi. They are very gross at all times.

Got the keys to my new apartment last weekend. The carpets smell like wet dog. The blinds were unevenly cut. everything looked dirty. Management handled it poorly. Maintenance crew inefficient and unprofessional. They did a sloppy job and skipped fixing somethings that should have been prior to someone moving into unit. Luckily Im on a short term lease in last rotation of medical school and dont have to be here long. I do not recommend these apartments to anyone.

After searching for an apartment to fit our needs for close to 3 months we found this complex. After going in and talking out prices and lease lengths we agreed on an 8 months lease (Leaving the area in 8 months) with rent being a little over 1800 for a one bedroom one bath apartment. We were told we could move in on Saturday, it was Thursday. Saturday comes around we go to the leasing office to pick up our keys and are told not only is our lease length doubling but the price is increasing by $400! What changes in 24 hours!? All they had to say was “sorry for the inconvenience”. Not only were we depending on this apartment but now we have to sell the things we had ready for it. Shame on us for not taking these reviews and other people’s horror stories about this complex more serious. DO NOT RENT HERE! If I could give them 0 stars I would because they don’t even deserve 1.

My car got broken into twice (shattered my window). roommates car got stolen. both cars were parked on the street and even inside the apartment parking spaces so if you do rent here get a car garage. well worth it.
