California Heating in Arcata is Awesome!!! Had them install a heat pump system in January of this year. I have now finished a Winter, gone through Summer and here we are in Fall and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Work done was in a very timely manner and efficient!!! I was so impressed with the heat pump system that I also had them install new metal Gutters on the house... We were told by another company that our heater was shot and that we needed a new one. After half of the winter using space heaters we decided to finally call California Heating since they were recommended by a friend. They came in and within 5 minutes they figured out what the problem was & came back a few days and we now have full heat!! Very grateful!

California Heating has done several jobs for us, including, most recently, installation of two heating units and rain gutters in our new home. We have found them to be honest, on time, and fair. We had trouble with the furnace that is located under our house, and they promptly came out and fixed it at no charge.

Everyone I have talked to with this company are very friendly. The technicians are respectful and personable. They are highly skilled and stay busy until its done regardless of how long it takes. The office manager keeps you informed and quickly responds to any issue that arises. Absolutely recommend.

Awful customer service!! Dont use this company! It took them over 6 weeks to fix our heater and they never actually fixed it. They did however, make sure I received their $900 dollar bill. We were able to get a competant company out to our house that fixed it the same day and only charged us $250 to fix our heater and it has been working since.
