Awsome service...went in today n they were out of the wheat tortillas and the young lady asked if we had a sec she can make it for us. Very nice of her to go out of her way to do that. Great service for just only 2 people running it to.koodos to Beth she was awesome!!
I eat here all the time, and I have no complaints about the food. I have been around closing time and certain items would be gone, but, minor inconvenience. Today, I received superb customer service as I took advantage of taco tuesday. Food was great, as always, and the friendliness of the staff made it even better.
I’m honestly so baffled at how this place has turned around. What used to be my favorite place has become absolutely terrible. Staff is friendly, but all of the food is constantly never ready. I’m always walking into an empty store with everyone scrambling to fill up literally everything. Then I’m constantly getting rice scrapped off the pan. I know that’s going to be hard from being caked on for hours. I honestly hate coming here now, I’m continuously disappointed. When is a good time to come where I’ll get an order made quickly because I can come right after work or shortly before closing and everything is out every timeEdit: Ordered here through the app for pickup this time so I could avoid the frustrations of previous visits. Not to my surprise, rock hard rice again with a kitchen full of staff…
I stop here because Im familiar with them in Redlands. Never had a problem at the Redlands location. However, when something is new there is always issues. For one, the were just grilling the grill chicken. Since that is what I eat there I chose to wait (since they said it will about 20 mins or less). On of the workers offered us a drink to wait. Now that was nice of her. Secondly, the tea was out and I asked the young lady (a different person from the first one) did they have anymore. She comes back and brings every drink but the one I ask for. Finally, I get my food (which was salty) and sat down to eat. Thirdly, the place was not cleaned up in the dining area the whole time we were there. We cleaned off our table. It was to hot to sit outside(102°) thats why we just wipe it off. Now mind you we were there for around a good 40 mins or so. NO CLEANING! This also includes the beverage area. This took place on 7/8/18. I took a video of the beverage counter, but it wont let me upload..
Good food, not cheap. Its fast casual kind of like Chipotles but with fresh-made tortillas more choices in the meats and more choices in items. They have burritos tacos tostadas enchiladas and salads. They all can be made with the choice of I believe five different Meats grilled chicken shredded chicken grilled beef grilled salmon shredded beef. With rice and beans and a drink I believe you come out to 11 plus dollarsYou should give it a try!
Food is consistently never ready especially the steak I’ve been told to take six minutes to grill the steak it every time I go in the bin is empty and they have no steak and they are not grilling steak how do you run out of food when it only takes six minutes to grill new stuff
Update: this place is running much better! Friendly staff and fun atmosphere. Thanks for working so hard to make delicious food for my belly!I LOVE CAFE RIO. Seriously eat at the one in Redlands every week. And Saturdays is a must to get the shrimp tacos. 3 stars has nothing to do with the brand or food but is a reflection on the management at this particular location. I’m sad to give cafe rio less than 5 stars. Coming to this particular location was depressing to see what could be great managed soooo poorly. It was generous to even give 3 stars. The line when I arrived was nearly to the door. Yet there was a weird vibe of zero urgency among the staff. After 20 minutes of waiting countless people had came in, waited 5 minutes, maybe moved an inch or two then left. I couldn’t handle it anymore. The employees were sloths. This can only be because it trickles down from the manager. If you go and visit a location in Utah. They know how to handle big crowds! This place needs some work. Please fix ASAP I want to come back!!
I didnt go in with high expectations, which is maybe one of the reasons why I was so impressed. While standing in line, a cook was using a rolling pin to flatten out some tortillas. Even though the wait was little long, it was mildly amusing to watch the production process.I ordered the taco entree, which is served with rice and beans (your choice of pinto or black beans). The food was fresh, the meat succulent, and everything was delicious.Ill definitely be going back!
Have you ever been to Subway? This felt like a Tex-Mex version of Subway. At Subway the attendant asks the customer what bread they want their sub made with, what meat, what condiments, etc al.Here in a similar way attendant asks what entree you want (made primary of flour tortilla), what meat, what salsa, what beans, etc. I enjoyed that!!!Its a clean restaurant, nice ambiance, appropriate temperature food and clean parking lot. Pre-pandemic times, I value attendants assisting customers with a sincere smile faces. Now that mask protocols are on, in lieu of smiles, happy voice tones are appreciated which I certainly sensed in my attendants.A Mexican would argue that its not authentic Mexican food. However, like me, I enjoy having a different way of cooking once in a while. I give my props to this eatery!
This has got to be one of the worst run restaurants Ive ever been to, while visiting the wonderful city of Moreno Valley I was stuck as to where to go and have lunch around this particular restaurant was a habit burger Dickeys Barbecue In-N-Out and several other places that would have been a far better choice, excited I went into this restaurant that smells good from the outside. As I proceeded to place my order I divulged to the waitress that this was my first time and I wasnt sure how to order or how to ask for my food. I asked her her recommendations and she suggested the tacos I didnt ask for two tacos and a salsa that was very appealing I believe it was a tomatillo sauce. As the manager Alexandra took over everything went downhill from there. She was more interested in the nickel-and-diming of the sauces. As opposed to providing a wonderful experience. I wanted the tomatillo sauce on my tacos she says it would be extra and was very adamant and focused on the additional charge I specifically asked well what does that sauce go with? She replied the enchiladas so I ordered the enchiladas, which were cold and the tortilla left a lot to be desired. If anybody in public has any questions feel free to reach out to me. Do yourselves a favor and avoid this particular restaurant there are many in this area that are National chains and have a proven track record of providing good food and adequate service
Horrible service. I came with my two sons and the girl at the register kept rushing us. To make a story short, we didnt get what we wanted. We came for the burritos smothered in sauce and cheese. And Im the only one who got it. My sons were rushed also and didnt get what they wanted. This was our first time here. Never coming back. They were very rude. The girl at the register ripped my receipt with an attitude and literally crumpled it. I would stay away from here. Horrible experience. Just go somewhere else.
Really love their salads especially with Sweet Barbacoa. There’s only one thing I wish they had a section on their app to write in special requests when ordering. Because on the salads, the tortillas come with melted cheese and sometimes they don’t put enough cheese and I’d like to request more. I’m sure I’m not the only one that would like to make special requests through the app.
Love this place, even though it can get crowded they give great and fast service, the staff is always friendly and in a good mood. The freshly out of the grill tortillas have become a most favorite!! The nachos, wet burrito and salad are delicious, as far as meats go the shredded beef is great, and the stake as well. The Friday special of salmon tacos is pretty tasty too. Priced fairly for the big portions.
Horrible management there. I used my debit card to pay and it said approved. The cashier was helpful but said that I needed to re-run my card. Typically, the transaction will say declined. I questioned it and said I wont be double charged right? The manager butted in and said that I need to pay. I said let me check my bank. She got mad at my statement. She said she is right and the computer is wrong. Lol. Really?? Then she said that she is never wrong. I told her well the computer shouldnt say approved then. She kept on mouthing back to me. Very professional.
Had a horrible experience here a few years back, when they first opened. One of the employees was rude and honestly out of line with voicing her opinion to me and my family. However the foods great, so I went back 2 days ago (3-12-2020) and it was awesome, the staff was nice, greeted me when I entered and made me feel welcomed. Got a burrito and it was perfect! Better than I remember. Also having the café Rio app makes it alot more affordable when I get a free entree almost every purchase, if not; every other one.
This place was awesome, first time I have been. Love, love, love they make their own fresh tortillas right in front of you. Line is slow but its because of how fresh everything is and the flavors are bomb. Had the barbacoa tacos and were delish. The amount of meat n food serving was a lot, surprisingly. Give it a try!
We ordered inside because app was not responding. We ordered some items separated from order and then they never put in the bag. We were short one meat and 2 rice and beans and salad dressing and hot sauce. They charged for everything just decided not to give us our food. My wife tried to tell them about the missing items and they were rude and said nothing was left behind therefore nothing was missing. I guess its our fault for trusting them to do their job right.
Great restaurant. The people who work here care about the customers. The food was delicious. I saw them cook the steak in front of me for my bowl. Certainly not Chipotle!! The restaurant is clean. Bathrooms are clean. They the mint limeade. Is really good and refreshing. If in the area you will have a good meal here.
It was great when they first opened then slowly quality has been lacking. Today they ran out of the corn salsa for the fajitas and the plate was mostly lettuce. I could have just ordered a steak salad and paid less and got more food. For the past 6 months every time Ive gone there they either ran out of something or food is cold
Husband and I very disappointed in your lack of customer service, and missing items on the menu. Happens too often. We arrive and asked the couple before us had they ordered? They replied no, they were waiting for the young man to take their order. We stood their waiting and watching the young man clean above the grill vents. They were out of several items including steak and shrimp, shrimp being the special of the day. My husband wondered after we left, what dropped into the grill!? Yuk! We asked the cashier for 2 key lime pies (pies were warm and runny) and No whip cream. My husband asked why are they closing? No, she replied, she cleaned out the whip cream device and her shift was ending at 8pm. Managers need to retrain your (young staff) in customer service, you need a mature staff with high school staff (young staff are not mature enough to handle and close out). Thank you and we will pray for your staff.
Been here before. Food is good. I will never go back there again because they nickel &Dime you. They now charge you for salsa and cheese for a taco. Now I could understand EXTRA CHEESE OR salsa but no they are extra regardless. Next they will start to charge for enchilada sauce for your enchilada. They have lost my business forever!
Love this place! Its our new favorite place to eat. The food is super fresh and delicious. They make their tortillas from scratch and their meats are super tasty. Also if you have kids under six they give you a free quesdilla with an adult meal purchase. Its Chipotle style but more options, way tastier and just way better overall! Also download the app and they have a great rewards program and discounts. Highly highly recommend!
Love this place! They make their own tortillas and their good. Their sweet pork is amazing! The line is always super long, but to me its worth the wait unless Im starving. Im not sure if all Cafe Rios are this busy all the time, or if its only because this one is new to this area.
Im quite surprised to see that this place only has a 3-star average. I come here about 2-3 a month because the family loves it and because I do most of my groceries at Aldi, so this is a great 1-2 combination. Yes, its not the most authentic Mexican food, and yes, the prices are a tad bit high for things like tacos, but if you come in expecting something like a Chipotle experience, I think youll be quite satisfied.
So the food was good and the atmosphere was good. The problem was with the attitude of the manager. She was uninterested with pleasing me. It wasn’t that certain sauces cost more or that they didn’t have certain item on their menu but that it was stated in a snarky fashion. Not in a apologigtic tone that they didn’t have it.If you can put up with bad attitude the food was good.
Delicious and very large burritos. Tacos are good and 1.99 specials on Tuesdays. Fresh food serve from scratch. Watch tortillas handmade and cooked in front of you. Homemade juices as well as fountain drinks available for the same price. Half Price for active military personnel on Mondays. Will definitely be coming back here at least once a week.
The food is delicious. However, the customer service is horrible. One of the girls that was helping us looked like she didn’t want to be there. She seemed bothered. I ordered tacos and asked for salsa. She told me that it was extra. I have never been to a restaurant where I had to pay extra for salsa. The girl wasn’t going to give me the rice and beans that came with my order. I had to ask her for it. I won’t be eating here anymore. Very disappointed.
Im addicted to this place! I could eat their salad every day!! You need to try it. Its not just any regular salad, its on a tortilla and you can build your own. I usually get pinto beans and shredded beef and all the toppings. Their house dressing is creamy and delicious! Yum!
They give you a lot of veggies like lettuce to make you think you are getting a lot of food, but when it comes to meat it is very little. And if you want steak or grilled chicken they charge you a dollar more and don’t tell you. I can understand steak but, a Dollar more for chicken that is grilled, rather than string chicken what’s the different. Then when you pay a dollar so they can grill your chicken, rather than boil it, they only give you a small amount. The food is good but not worth what you are paying for. If you get a salad they pile you up with lettuce, but charge you extra if you want another small container of salad dressing to cover all the lettuce they give you. The empyare nice and friendly.
Very good Mexican-style food. My favorite is their sweet pork enchiladas with flour tortillas and green chili sauce. I have eaten at half a dozen or so Cafe Rios, and this one compares favorably with all of them. The staff is particularly friendly & helpful. Maybe thats because theyre all still fairly new, but anyway they are very good. The building is also still shiny and new. I expect to return regularly a couple times per month.
Third time here. Two out of three times disappointed. Didnt care for salad. Expected shell to be crisper. The enchilada was to small. I had more beans and rice than enchilada in the dinner. Burrito is my only plus so far. Keep trying different entrees because my family love the burritos.
Food tasted good but my burrito was literally just beans and green salsa. I wish they had more vegan options! Their rice is not vegan. They only have one salsa that is vegan (what the hay is in their other salsas?) and they dont have other veggies to add... Just beans! Seriously, even just sauteed bell peppers would have made my burrito better. And if only they had a vegan rice!
Attitudes of some of the servers suck. If I ask for extra whatever and I am paying the extra cost, why the attitude? Less juice of the beans and meat and more product. They slopped so much juice from the shredded chicken, she had to pour it off the burrito, smh How about dropping the bad attitude, its starting to over shadow the good food.
Always gets my order wrong when I go here and they are so slow. I have to make sure I watch their every move to make sure they don’t get my order wrong. My last visit they told me it would take 15 to 20 minutes for someone to cut up the grilled chicken. I was like no it shouldn’t take that long to cut up chicken it’s not like it had to cook it was already done. So she went in the back to get her manger and she cut it up for me. It literally took like two minutes. They were not even busy so I don’t understand why she said 20 minuets. I feel like they need retraining and to work on their costumer service.
This new restaurant opened up recently. I figured I would try them out. Never been to this chain before. They are very similar to a Chipotle style Mexican restaurant. Similar items. I went on a taco Tuesday and tried three different meat to tacos and I try the queso cheese dip and chips. All the tacos had fresh toppings and looked good. The chicken and steak were to my liking but the pork was a little too sweet for me. Not bad, just not what I prefer. The chips and queso were good. The service was to be as expected for a restaurant of this type. Staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very clean as it was a brand new building. I think i am going to return to try some of the other items on the menu. They also have wide selection of beverags at the beverage counter, including horchata. I would recommend you try this place out for yourself.
Both my self and my husband got sick after eating here. Not terribly Ill but definitely had an upset stomach. We both got a burrito for $9 bucks. The burrito was ok kinda what you would get at a sit down mexican food restaurant but with no sides. I would say maybe even a bit overpriced for what you get. The staff and the restaurant were nice but I will not be eating here again :(.
Came in today thinking that this was a nice place, but I was wrong. Food passes, but it was pretty bland. Aside from the food not being very good the staff was very rude. I simply asked a question about the food and got attitude from the employee. I felt rushed even though there was nobody in line behind me. On top of receiving attitude personally, the employees were cursing and talking negatively about customers while I was eating. Terrible experience, we definitely wont be coming back.
I was not impressed with the food at all. I called my order in and they were very good at going over it with me. But I had a long wait when I arrived to pick it up. Price is not too awfully bad, but as I already said, I was not impressed with the food at all. I will not be going back, it was hardly worth it to drive there and then wait for the order to be prepared, then drive back home, then finally sit down to eat. I will not be returning, or recommending this restaurant
Horrible customer service! I didnt even try their food, I was trying to ask a question about their special and the girls response was I dont know what kind of meat we have just read the menu. Are you kidding me!!! But I said ok Ill just order anyways with my wife being pregnant and all, then she coughs into her hands and proceeded to prepare our plates. No thanks, we walked out.
I ordered a salad and they went ham on the lettuce! Its good lettuce mind you, but it drowns out the other ingredients. And those other ingredients are really good! One of the workers was really hilarious and he made it a lot of fun. Ok now for the complaints: vegetarian and gluten free options are scant at best and the prep line is hella disorganized so its hard to keep track of your food.
Now this is real fresh food. Tortillas made on the spot, fresh vegtables, store made horchata, jamaica, lemonde...... cant complement enough on the freshness, cleanliness, quality, staff...... etc kitchen is fully open. It is a bit on the pricey side. But when you try it, youll see its well worth the price. My new favorite spot! Everything is outstanding, from their big asada burrito, to the taco salad even their quesadillas are killer. Must try.
This time they disappointed me...I made an online orderedOf a enchilada style burrito, with extra salsa, lime, and lettuce.Normally, they put the salsa in a separate container, but this time they put it all in the container with the burrito. And all the water, and juices from the salsas made causes the container to be almost half full with the salsas juices. This caused the tortilla to be extra suggy, wet.And It was the second time they forgot to make my burrito enchilada style as I ordered.I couldnt take one bite of the burrito without tasting their salsa fresca, that really isnt that good. Its a good place just make sure they get your order right. This place would be a 5 star if they didnt have these problems
This place has really good food. i work close and order from here often. the problem is their service. I place lunch orders for a large office and the food never arrives correctly. also we will order 10 or more salads at a time and they never label the salads even though i provide them names for each meal. when calling to speak to management, no one is available. Not professional at all.
I’m not sure how they messed up an order of a tortilla soup, and a taco salad. And instead sent me 5 key lime pies. Then tried to tell me it’s my fault. The f’ing receipt says tortilla soup and taco salad. Smdh. These people are insanely incompetent, and apparently no managers that work here at all.
Got there at 4:20pm and line was backed up to the door. Waited 20 minutes in line but it never moved. Left and went to Chipotle. Got my food in 5 minutes. Theyve got issues and need to figure out how to move people through the line. There was only one guy on the line and 4 at the cash register just standing around. Very poorly managed restaurant. Avoid.
Visited cafe Rio on opening day in Moreno Valley 12/11/17. I ordered enchiladas (shredded pork). They put one teaspoon of meat on each one, and the meat was soggy, too much juice. I also ordered 2 burrito plates, the burritos were too bland, no flavor whatsoever, just salty. The over the top sauce tasted like a can of tomato sauce . Last but not least, the service was inexperienced people not knowing how to take orders, they need training. You call this a Mexican food far from it. Our local Bravo Burger have better Mexican enters and its a burger joint. I will never eat at Cafe Rio again. Thank You Ms Arnold.
Eating at Cafe Rio is quite a treat!! The burrito are huge as is the tacos. Great meat flavors with several choices. Pork, chicken, beef, etc. Todays special was salmon tacos (2) with rice and your choice of beans - black or pinto. Both are delicious. Give Cafe Rio a visit - you wont be sorry. Today the lunch crowd was very busy, but the line went fast. I finished my taco and enchilada combo with a key lime pie. YUMMY!!
Honestly, for someone whos used to authentic Mexican food, this place along with Chipotle is a big disappointment. I know a lot of people must like this kind of food for it to be in business, but you can call a hot dog a taco....well you know what I mean. Its just not Mexican food.
We went there on Friday 26th 8pm and it was busy. It was the first time we went there. Good costumer service, but very confused at the order area. We had four orders. They took two and skipped to the next couple after us and couldnt figure out what our order was after I gave them the other two orders. Just mass confusion. I complained about that issue right away. Not organized. I feel that we were being rushed right through.
Over all I enjoyed my experience and I will probably come back. However I have a few things to say about the establishment. If you are a fan of Chipoltes Barbacoa meat do not get it here because it is very sweet. I prefer savory Barbacoa which is much better. My girlfriend however got nachos with shredded chicken which was great. The biggest problem by far was the employees they are very slow and even with the small amount of people that were there it still took them quite a bit of time for them to work together. My girlfriend who orderrd the nachos asked for extra cheese and the tall white gentleman that was working there rolled his eyes like a child. Its extremely unprofessional for employees to act this way. Get your workers to shape up or your establishment will suffer.
First time visiting Cafe Rio! I ordered a Grilled Chicken Quesadilla and when I was told that and a large drink was over $13 I thought I was going to faint....I even told the cashier that this better be the best darn quesadilla I have ever eaten! So after my meal I have to say that it was REALLY good! I enjoyed it a lot! The reason I gave it only 3 stars is because they were very chinsy on the meat and the prices are very high!!!
C-i-o-l- who? The hubs and I decided to be adventurous and try something new. We are so glad we did! The restaurant was clean, colorful, and inviting. The food was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Oh, and the agua frescas selection was pure perfection! There was enough to choose from to cause a dilemma. Resolution? We have to go back and try the other meals and beverages! Overall, it was a 5-Star experience, for us. I would highly recommend the Cafe Rio experience. Your taste buds, and your tummy will be happy!
Today was my 1st and most likely my last visit to this establishment. There are at least 3 things that I feel should be stated to help future patrons decide weather to visit there.1) I chose the Tacos and requested grilled chicken, at which time I was told it would be an extra cost! Why is grilled chicken more expensive than shredded chicken (it’s not extra at Chipotle)2) when I got to the end of the assembly food line (exactly like the military) I requested some of the salsa I saw at the beginning of the line and was told they are NOT available for the tacos just the burritos and enchiladas. Again that is not a restriction at Chipotle.3) the food is served on aluminum take out containers to allow them to go through a broiler, and if you want to take it home, a cover is provided nicely. Now I must tell you what I have learned, that aluminum stays in the human body forever, like mercury and lead. And aluminum has been linked to altimeters. It was a mainstay in the 60s & 70s used for TV Dinners. Probably the reason so many older people are suffering from this disease. You check it out yourself and create your own opinion.
The service in Moreno Valley was terrible. No one was helpful, the restaurant was brand new and already trashed, employees were confused, 6 employees were standing around doing nothing. There are a ton of nice local Mexican restaurants avoid this one. They charge for salsa here, salsa is not even free.
Meals were good but the problem was the waiting: Monday here there were a LOT of customers but there was not enough staff and chefs to cater - I counted four on that day - wondering where was the rest of the crew. I wont come back to this location until the management sends enough crew to serve its customers.
Well everyone heres the verdict on Café Rio Mexican Grill.1. Great food2. Always fresh ingredients3. Restaurant, and restrooms always clean.4. Servers always have on plastic gloves.5. Staff always friendly, and respectful.6. Finally Im so hooked on this place that I usually eat there at least twice a week.I give CAFÉ RIO five 😊😊😊😊😊+ three yum yum yums =Satisfaction.
While Cafe Rio is a far cry from authentic Mexican food, it offers some bold flavors and wider menu selection than you would see at Chipotle. Your first sight once you make it to the front of the line is fresh flour tortillas being hand rolled and griddled right in front of you. Aside from tortilla chips for nachos, everything seems to be made with their fresh flour tortillas.Ordering is assembly line style, with dishes periodically being removed to spend a couple seconds under the broiler to melt cheese. There are six entrees to select from (burrito, salad, enchiladas, tacos, quesadilla, and tostada, though the salad and tostada seem a bit redundant when you look at what they really are). The food seems a bit on the pricier side for what it is, with your average entree running about $10 (I usually make out for under $8 at Chipotle). Be prepared to be nickle and dimed for customization, as any grilled protein and add ons like sour cream are all extra. One highlight of Cafe Rio is the show employees provide while in line (think tipping at Cold Stone). If you need a good laugh, make sure to order the tortilla soup. Will I be back? Most likely not, as there are lots of options which I think are tastier and easier on the budget, but several of the people I talked to while waiting in line were already on their second or third visit that week.
Girl who unlocked doors had on gloves and went immediately back behind counter didnt change gloves. My wife asked her to change gloves explaining it is unsanitary, girl got upset and walked away and her and another staff member laughed about it. Does your staff not understsnd how unsanitary that is and how easily germs can spread?
Horrible service. Ordered online, was not ready when I got there to pick up. Still had to wait 30 minutes as they kept taking customers in front of me. Plus they were out of two of the things I ordered. Out of a menu that has 6 items, its just ridiculous. The workers and manager seemed like they couldnt care less. Wont be back.
Phone order tried to do online. ORDERING DIRECTIONS VAGUE...just says meat or cheese, no way to be specific. Order was 10 min later than promised and when order was finally assembled it was AFTER last customer that was in line was helped. Whats the point of ordering early

2022-06-14I ordered a flour tortilla tosada. The flavor was good. However, the rice was hard and there was entirely too much lettuce. It was more like a salad. I will never order that again! Dressing was offered with the tostada as well, next time Ill order a salad since thats what it resembled. The shell was soft and the rice was hard.

2022-05-13The service was exceptional and the food was tasty. The employees working when my family came in were so kind and helpful. One of the gentlemen assembling the food made a special burrito for my daughter who is a very picky eater. She ate the whole thing! I am so grateful for such wonderful people like these folks. Thank you all so much for working so hard and going above and beyond for us! You all need a raise.

2022-03-01Knowing that a lot of people unfortunately dont want to work these days, its really a pleasure to come here to grab some delicious grub and be served by people with genuine enthusiasm. I honestly am not the greatest on remembering names consideringhow much I order from here, but I just want it to be known to the superiors of this establishment that everyone there deserves a raise with how hardworking and kind the entire team there is. Keep it up guys!

2022-04-05Great food, but too tight with the meat. Im only 120 lbs, but I can eat and would like more meat. Those two tablespoon scoops are not cutting it. The food is scrumptious and the public wants more of it.

2022-07-08I walked in asking for 3 family meals & even though they were fully stocked I was told they are not allowed to sell it to me. That i have to order through their catering number but they will only fulfill my order after 24 hours. Dude, I need the food for todays lunch! I asked if I can just buy 10 taco plates and he discouraged me from buying it because it would take them a long time to package it. Seriously!!!! I went to Pollo Loco and bought 3 Family meals which include Churros. Win - win! I will never go to Cafe Rio again.

2022-07-17This place went down hill! My fiancé and I went there and ordered 2 salads and they charged us for the salad dressing when we didn’t ask for extra!! And the rice was unbelievably hard, it clearly wasn’t cooked right and the tortillas weren’t cooked all the way. Absolutely disgusting. I’d give it -0 if I could.

2022-05-24The food is great and you get to choose your options with meat, vegetables and sauces for your tortilla and everything is simple and fun to eat 😀 😉 😋.

2019-03-21Really good food and great service. This place does everything better than chipotle. The tortillas are hand made and the food tastes really fresh and hot. Employees were enthusiastic and happy to help. We had a coupon and drove across town to try it out. We will definitely come back. Thanks for reading my review. Free quesadillas for kids under 6 was nice too.

2022-04-19I ordered 1 taco with rice and beans. There was enough meat in the taco for 1/3 of the tortilla. And the rice was weirdly crunchy and not good tasting.
