They educate you on all the dos and donts, such as not using the central heating while using your fireplace and never use any man made logs of any kind (read the labels before you buy) because they have cancer causing agents! Very professional and courteous. I had a chimney fire a couple of years ago and had to replace it with a insert stove. I can not say enough about how efficient this is. I do not burn a quarter of the wood I used to.

2019-02-08I am super impressed with Mark. He showed up on time, did a thorough inspections, Educated us on the proper use of the fire place and demonstrated the proper way to burn. He took time to explain things to look for and explained what woods and products not to use. His professionalism and knowledge of his craft is amazing. I would not hesitate in suggesting him to any of my friends and family. Furthermore, making an appointment with Busy Bee was easy and friendly. I will never use anyone else for my fire place needs. 2020-10-20Unprofessional technician. During the inspection I was given conflicting information. I was told my chimney had extensive damage and was estimated at $25k to tear down and replace. As the tech was leaving he tried to upsell me a gas log set even though he made it seem like I should not burn in the fireplace until the repairs had been made. During the inspection I offered the tech a bottle of water and he ignored my offering. Without saying a word he walked to a hose I had in my back yard turned it on and drank from it and then proceeded with the inspection. Overall a very odd/negative experience.I would not contact this company for service ever again.

2015-07-29This is second year we have used Busy Bee and we HIGHLY recommend them. Last year we had to have extensive repair work done as we use our chimney ALOT & Mark did an excellent job. He is very knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing and why. This year the fireplace is still in great shape and all we needed was a cleaning which was handled quickly and efficiently. Anyone looking for a great chimney sweep should definitely call Mark at Busy Bee!

2014-04-02Mark did an excellent job and was very nice and friendly.After having a big problem with our fireplace due to not having a flue,We hired Mark who informed us and recommended a stainless steel insulated flue linerwith a Monsoon cap and chase all guaranteed forever.We really appreciate his help. We feel our house will be much safer and wont burn down since the smoke will go up the chimney instead of filling our house.Now we know to have the chimney cleaned once a year or after each chord of wood to keep it safe.Thanks a lot Mark.Mr. & Mrs. Schippell

2016-05-04When we moved into our current residence, we quickly realized that we had a problem in the fireplace. It had not been cleaned by the landlord and instead had been sealed off. We discovered bees and maggots coming out of the fireplace through the materials that had been used to close it off. We also saw bees swarming above the chimney. We called Busy Bee Chimney service for help and Are we happy we did!!. Mark came out as quickly as possible and upon examination. informed us we had a large hive down inside the chimney. Mark spent almost 8 hours killing the hive and removing what turned out to be over 85 lbs of bees, honey, honeycomb, maggots and other debris from our chimney. What we saw come out of the chimney and firebox was absolutely disgusting and amazing at the same time. When Mark was finished, everything was totally clean. He did not make any mess or leave behind anything for us to deal with. He was the ultimate professional and extremely informative throughout the entire process. We would highly recommend Busy Bee for any of the services they provide. An incredibly satisfying experience.

2017-01-07We have lived in our house for over 20 years and have never had our chimney serviced. It was smoking when we moved in, so we didnt use it much. After one cleaning it works great! I got a fireplace that works and an education. I will be a repeat customer, and I wont wait another 20 years.

He did everything properly and right, and was very knowledgeable on safely requirements. I was very satisfied with his work and the job he did at my home. He was very prompt and I really appreciate it. He always called and answered his phone when I needed to talk with him. I really appreciate his work. I would recommend him to anyone.

2015-12-12First time using Mark chimney sweep. He is really nice and educates you while he is cleaning On regards to safety and chimneys.The reason for 2 stars is because he kept trying to up sell me and succeeded. It is my fault for not shopping around. He tried to sell me first a chimney cap for $500 and when I said no, he lowered the price to $200 (supposedly at cost for stainless steel cap). Where he got me at was the concrete crown seal for $200 plus the cleaning. I will not be using his service, since I cant trust him. I YouTube how to apply crown seal and I realize he did a lazy job. He didnt tape the edges and I have seal droppings on the side of the chimney. So sad that someone would take advantage.
