Best park in AV if youre looking for a spacious place to practice sports or exercise without invading others. Park is Gated.
Nice natural grass field. Good drive. They provide away-side canopy and bench. Parking was a little full but no big deal.

We go here for my son to play soccer, and its a very nice well maintained park. Parking can be tricky when its busy...Saturdays are packed. They have several porta potty located all around the fields, with sinks and soap, which I appreciate. Very nice park!

It was a very well kept clean park although a couple more facilities wouldnt hurt and the sprinkler system needs to be throughly checked during a soccer game a sprinkler head was up and could have caused a seriously injury but all in all this park was very beautiful

There are a lot of activities going on at this park but you can also have a nice picnic here. The fireworks display on the 4th of July cant be beat. Extra large area so theres a lot of room for the kids to run and play.
I went here on the 4th of july beautiful event with music, food, fireworks. Normal days its a beautiful good sized park with room for a lot of people to get out of the house to soak up some sun.
Brewster is a great place for sports like soccer, football, and I think baseball too. If you live near this park and want to do one of these sports then I would definitely recommend Brewster Park.
Just before sunset. The smell of fresh cut grass. Children & parents playing together. And those who had furry friends were able to walk around in a safe location. Dont forget you can also see the kids playing basketball, and throwing the football around.
Brewster Park is a great park all around with everything you want from a city park. There are picnic benches and grills for parties, etc. You can bring your pets, leashed of course. The park is big with lots of room to play soccer or baseball at one of the two diamonds. The bathrooms are always clean too! Great park for the family.
There is people charging $5 dlls at the entrance of this park they said is to water the grass lol check this pics and you be the judge.

This is by far the best fireworks show I have ever been to...20 minutes of great viewing with very little light pollution. ..its an all day event with a live band and a host of vendors... food and unique craft items.. as well as a variety of other items for sale...strangers will sometimes start a football game together or show everyone their gymnastics skills with tumbling ..back flips and cartwheels...their are a few rides but not like a carnival. ..you can bring your own 10x10 pop up tent to stay out of the sun..plus ice chest with drinks and dont forget the chairs...fun fun fun

Huge soccer park, it is busy during soccer season and on Saturdays hard to find parking. There is a snack shack.
Nickerson State Park is about 2,000 acres including 5 freshwater ponds, beautiful woodlands and a bicycle trail throughout. It is lovely in every season-- a great place to camp, walk your dog, fish and swim. The staff is friendly, informed and laid-back. I have lived nearby for over 30 years and consider it one of the great gifts and spiritual resources in my life. It is home to a variety of creatures-- white tail deer, fox, coyote, owls and hawks, trout and bass. There are many campsites with relative privacy and as well as plenty of communal ones as well. A gem!

Nice park, grass should greener with a water reclaim facility on site. Purple pipe Apple Valley Town Counsel. Also staff should label the soccer fields a little better from all sides of the lighting poles considering parking wraps around the park.
🎉🎈🎆Brewster Park is a good place to go to for adults and children. It has a huge grass area and baseball field, theres also basketball courts and a playground with swings/slides. Its plenty of room to jog/walk/sprint.Last but not least the annual 4th of July Firework Show!🎉🎈🎆

Love the walking trail around the park. They recently put in horseshoes and remodeled the park. Very nice. Usually pretty empty there except for maintenance workers or kids playing soccer, which I love. Cuz most people suck..
Whos Idea was it to put a Sanitation Plant Right in the Park?? I would put no stars if I could! I hadnt been to this park for a while and decided to go walking there.Since the last time I had been there, a Sanitation Plant was built right on the lot. Oh my god!!! I smelled HORRIBLE. I couldnt get away from the stench, even at the furthest outskirts of the park.Bad planning, they just ruined a perfectly good park. Good luck for all the neighborhood homes surrounding the park. With that stench in the air Im sure the Real Estate Value of those homes will be going way down!
Very quiet and peaceful. Just wish the ignorant ppl driving their kids to soccer practice would SLOW THE FCK DOWN. We all have to choke down the dirt trail from you leave behind. Theres a speed limit FOR A REASON! UR AT A PARK FOR F SAKES. STOP THINKING ABOUT YOURSELF!
A lot of good Community things happen there. Families enjoying themselves. Sports. The fireworks are always good every year on the 4th of July. Im usually driving by for work and wish I could stop and smell the roses. But very seldomly does that fall into my time frame or schedule. They have live music there also. That people tell me they enjoy. So if you have that time go and enjoy it
They had just cleaned the bathrooms and failed to put any toilet paper in the stalls.. f- for terrible service.. the dark water sewage treatment plant reeks horribly isnt a park ill return to. No shade just soccer bs
I enjoy coming here when Im at my lowest moments. Its nice and spacious. You appreciate the atmosphere and everyone does their own thing

This is a great place to take kids to play on the equipment or if you have kids in sports. This is also a amazing place to take your whole family to see the forth of July fireworks show. There fireworks shows have always been amazing.
We couldnt even sit down to eat, all the city workers were hogging all the space pretending to clean or something. We had to eat in the car, they took up all the benches.
I attended the freedom festival with my family we loved it! Music was good, food was delicioussss shout out to Fries Galore and Kona Ice!! Haha games were fun to my daughter won twice.. parking wasnt well thought out and people park like idiots but I parked by the entrance so we got out quick. Overall this was a very nice venue for hosting Ill definitely return for other events😁

I have played a lot of baseball on this field excellent place to take your child if youre practicing or if its game time the field as well watered and well-groomed potholes are taken care of so its very safe my hat is off to the town of Apple Valley for the care of their sports facilities
Came here for the fourth of July festivities. It was super hot that day. I feel like the park could have had more seating and more shade for people. But this was my first time at this park and it was a good experience
While the firework show was amazing, this is a review of the park itself.Most of the grass is dead or dieing. From what I can tell there are only portable toilets there. Comparing it to last years 4th of July, which the bathrooms ran out of toilet paper, they had even less this year with overflowing human waste in some.
Has a good set up to make it convenient getting in and out as well as parking options just outside the entrance. This place is cute and simple, and an overall great place for Recreational Sports.
Attended soccer event. Staff kept traffic moving no big traffic hang ups. Well organized. Seems like a nice location for sports events. My 1st time there.
Went there for state soccer tourney. Charged me $5 to park even though lot was full. I had to park in dirt lot across the street. Ladies room ran out of toilet paper so people started flushing paper towels of course backing up the toilets. I guess its an ok place to play soccer.

I got there about 4:30...another man and his wife were there...Her brother was part of the fireworks team...and the gate guy let them in...I couldnt go in...its all good...I found an elevated knoll off to the East of the Park and had a great view...there were at least 50 other cars that showed up to sit out there as well...HA!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!! GOV. NEWSOME TRIED TO STOP APPLE VALLEY...BUT DID NOT!!! He did pull the plug on Victorville and a lot of other parks...grrrr...UN AMERICAN!!!!

Beautiful park with many soccer fields. Grounds are well-maintained. Play equipment, snack bar and ample parking.
Great park for soccer games. 11 fields with parking near each field. You can actually tailgate the ice chest the parking is so close to the fields.
Great fireworks show for 4th of July. If youve never seen it you should check it out. Great afternoon for the kids prior to the show. Games and booths.
This is a good park in the apple valley area. Theres areas to play baseball and soccer and theres a track around the whole park. The play set is nice and the park is kept clean.
This place is great alot of different food huts to choose from including ice cream very safe and friendly atmosphere the cover bands are usually good on stage very kid orientated the police are there for protection they are nice and lienynt but above all the fireworks show is unforgettable the go all out it is incredibly fantastic and worth the drive and time I will always be there for the rest of my years it has become sintamental and something to look forward to hope to see you there next year ...ps ... Maybe Disneyland could out do the firework show and maybe not!!..

Lots of soccer games here. Our Rotary club used to hold the Chili Cook-Offs here. Lots of memories from even before there was a park here.
Every year for 4th of July Ill go to this park they play nice music live bands kids can get wet and fun the nice water slides Its awesome yall all should go

2021-07-05Attended the Freedom Festival produced by the Town of Apple Valley. Plenty of portable restrooms available, good music, vendors and food booths. It’s amazing that this is a free event. The fireworks show is always the culmination of the event.

2022-01-16One week ago, my family and I were at Brewster Park. It was a nice park over there, and there was a championship finale soccer tournament. My nephews did a good job in the finals. Thank you, Brewster Park.

2019-09-20Grass is green and lush in most areas. Monday, Wednesday and Fridays are slower and Tueadays/Thursdays are packed due to soccer, baseball and football. It gets hectic on those days. Parking can be accessed all around the field. The south side parking lot is paved while the north, east and west parking is on gravel. Only one set of restrooms are located in the south side next to the parking lot.

2018-05-29Nice, clean, mostly quiet. Kids playground, soccer field with a ton of soccer nets, also baseball/kick ball area. Bathrooms, real and outhouse. Many lamp posts. New horseshoe area.
