Randomly stopped by on our way to a show at the Masonic. The space is cozy and the interior is kind of dark, which I didnt mind so much. It was a Friday night and it took longer than Id like before we were served, and drinks were okay. Decent visit overall, wouldnt mind coming back.
College night was so much fun! I myself love all kinds of music and I like that they switched off every half hour so everyone could enjoy themselves. It can be pretty warm in there because of the activities. Its good to wear shorts or pants and I prefer my tennis shoes, flats, or boots. The staff was nice and was excellent at checking in and making sure we were all fine. The atmosphere is great, the people arent creepy, staff was friendly, music is great. I do need to learn how to line dance though!
I have been waiting to post a review about an issue one of our best friends had that affected all of us who go there greatly. I wanted to find the right words to say considering we have all been going to this bar religiously for about 8+ years. This is a place we had our usual bar tenders who are making our usual drinks before we even walk up and hug us at the door. But once weapons get involved we put our foot down and unfortunately you lost a large group of us who supported you for so long and even bring our families here on weekends. I think it’s time for you guys to put in more cameras and update door security. We live in a dark world where things happen. This means you have to update with it and you haven’t. It was a knife this time but it could be a gun next time. This situation has completely scared us out of coming here because our friend could have been killed and our lives are not something we are going to risk to attend one bar no matter how much we care about the staff. It’s sad that we cared so much about a place that showed so little care for our friend who got hurt. Never even reached out to check on him. I hope to see change.
Loved this place! The dance floor is so huge! Its so fun. Im not big on line dancing but there is room on the outside of the dance floor for swing dancing. Drinks were a little pricy. Its in a weird part of town but its not crazy busy so that was nice.
One of the greatest places to go line dancing. Amazing people and staff. Great DJS. Delicious food! I definitely recommend coming on Wednesdays if you like club music. Sundays if you want to bring your families. And Wednesday through Saturday for line dancing , bull riding , and drinking.
Enjoyed the atmosphere for a country concert. Friendly folks at the bar and throughout the venue. We will return for future events. I could only give 3 stars due to the food service. Quality was good for bar food, but way too long of a wait. Once that gets sorted and the system is more organized, would gladly give 5 stars.
It is a great nightclub! I have been several times, during the college nights. When, I was a student at Cal Poly Pomona. I really enjoyed the experience, during these Wednesdays. Definitely, I would recommend anyone to visit this nightclub during those days. The drinks are fairly priced. In addition, there is a good selection of meals to choose.
Ive never been here, but one of my close friends goes often and has been treated terribly. I dont support a place that has problems and no cameras. Its 2019, everyone has them on their homes I think a business should be able to make that investment.
I took my entire family plus some family friends for the Sunday Family Day. Dancing was great for the kids although I cant say that the service was the best. I was overly charged and brought it to the attention of the cashier in front which she argued with me at first then told me that she would have the manager come over to us to take care of the matter (which never happened) so I left and she never reembersed us for the overcharge. I find that rude, she watched my entire party and I walk and did not say a word at all to us as she continued to eat at the entrance of the establishment. No one came to our table with a menu or asked us if we would like anything to drink. Also, there were no highchair for my 2 year old which made it very inconvenient being that they only have high table tops with barstole like chairs. Unfortunately I have to say we will not be attending this place ever again.
Great beer prices. Good fun especially on Wednesday. Its crowded but there are two separate lines for 18 year olds and people who are twenty one. Has good security. Entrance prices are not too bad. Good bathrooms and has pool tables. Pleanty of places to buy drinks located around the whole place. Good sitting area on the patio.
I have always had so much fun here. Wednesdays are college nights and so many people go. Its worth paying the $5 or $10 to get in. I love how theres a good amount of security and the precautions they take to make sure everyone is safe and having a good time. I want to go every week now.
This place is amazing!! The bar render RICK is my favorite! It was our first ti.e there for my birthday and he recommended cowboy fries and they were bomb! I will come here again its worth the drive and everyone is very friendly and nice :)
I enjoyed the club atmosphere. Employees are very welcoming. And they have a Sunday family day love it we take the kids they can enjoy learning to dance and mixing with the rest of the people and having a late lunch or an early dinner while theyre there. Try it youll like it
It was my first time coming to Brandin Iron on family night. Met up with some friends that recommended this place. We had a great time listening to country music, line dancing or trying too, lol. In the back corner was the mechanical bull . The staff was friendly and helpful to both adults and children. The instructor was awesome too, he was very informative and had a great attitude.
Very nice club, that treats its customers right, The owner Bill is.awesome and even let my mentally disabled son Tracksuit have the dance floor all to himself and dance to his favorite song Ram Ranch. The only bad thing is the security that are very hostile and like to White knight the women.
The branding iron is ok but is nowhere near what it used to be. The dance floor is not taken care if like it should be. I asked about this once and was told by an employee that it is not buffed anymore because to many people were falling and wanting to sue. After watching some of the people trying to dance on karaoke night i can believe that. Instead of a skip or hop they were trying to hop all the way across the floor. Pitiful. Perhaps instead of letting your dance floor become ruined you should have nights for dancing lessons and if they cant dance safely ask them to leave trust me the few are not spending enough to cover the loss of people who want a good damce floor and will go elsewhere to get it.
I felt like I wasnt in California anymore, it was so country. All things considered it was pretty fun, 5 dollar cover on a Thursday night though, so that wasnt to great. Drinks were decently priced, and the place was huge, with multiple bars. Never had to wait to get a drink.
The bands have gotten exponentially better. However the dancing is only line dancing except for every half hour on Wed night. Even during the free style dance time, everyone only line dances (Wed night exception) Wed night is college night with free entry for students with a line around the block or pay to skip the line. It is an easy place to meet-up but not for dancing or drinking, there are still plenty of better places nearby in Redlands.
Took a hit of my vape and the staff says smoke one more time and ur gone instead of politely telling me I can’t smoke inside. Rude staff don’t come here
Never get out... its nice to see real faces... and when u spend all day in a hot tank underground not military base but where they fix cars under ground and use car tools.for other terrorist attacks you would think one decent place will get u one normal cold beer.. but I guess that doesnt exists because Im still trying to swallow this so hopefully younger people who enter this domain dont have too..warning vendor alert check your vendor product before sale. U might save your self a lawsuit
Got kicked out for eating a cup of ice, because the bouncer thought I was drinking underage. Never had a problem with this place until today.
I took my son there for his 24th birthday to see Aaron Watson on Saturday the 28th. From the time we walked into the building until the time we left (last ones to leave) we had a blast. We drove there from Fresno for the concert and was extremely please with everything. AMAZING staff!! The lead security officer (Stevie a.k.a. whip!!) was awesome. Provided my son with water before we left and was professional with everyone she contacted. Ive been in many bars in several different states, but this was one of the best. Only issue I had and it was very small. We ordered a lot of food and it took over an half for them to tell us they were not making pizza due to the concert. I will diffidently return to the Brandin Iron. Thank you for a great time and an unforgettable experience.
Misleading Website - false advertisingMy daughter and I thought it would be a lot of fun to join the free LD class on Sunday 6/4/17. We went online saw that it was free and headed over. When we got there they said it would be 6 dollars each. We said we were there to join the line dance class. He said that will still be 6 dollars. We then left and probably wont be back. Very disappointed.
I am out of the military and I have a government issued ID and the bouncer said he could make the same ID on his computer. Also they wont let you back into the bar if you leave, extremely overpriced beer. This place will give you aids and or cancer.
Loved it. Had an amazing time, Now just got to get me some boots and Ill be just fine. So much fun with my girlfriends and the food was great. And the ladies and other staff was awesome with the drinks. See you soon Brandin Iron. 😎
Nice place but the location was not right. Come on Man...next to a adult book store and a dark area. What kinda message does that give you and the young kids that attend the events here.Food was ok could be better. Service could have been a little better also.
This is a bar with lots of line dancing. It was fun to learn new dances and dance until I drop! They play country music and apparently there is a line dance for every song.The only problem is that it was hot. I started to feel sick dancing in the heat. Please turn on the air conditioner.
I always enjoy pool night at the Branding iron! Good crowd, live band, dj, abd great staff. Rudy the security guy is a wealth of information and knows the history. Very much a gentleman and ladies he knows how to 2-step!
Family day at the Brandin Iron is so much fun for kids! We all enjoyed the dance lessons and bull rides. The included buffet leaves something to be desired but cant complain for the price.
After I went the concert Cal Jam 18, this bar was near the concert and on my way to go back my home(my home is so far ,around 60-70minuts by car from the concert), so I went to this bar after finish concert, and I asked the male staff this bar is entrance free or not. He barred my way and said the bar is not free entrance with staring at me as if I was a suspicious individual. I felt uncomfortable. The staff additude was rude. I think maybe he discriminated me, because I am Asian, Japanese...cause he was white and the custmers were all white. But I have never receive any discriminative trieatment in Cooks Corner where is the bar near my home, the staffs and customers are warm and frendly. At that time I didnt know this bars music is country. So Its good that I didnt go there, cause I hate country music. I like hard rock and heavy metal.

All of the music was played by a D.J. and not a band...The only thing I enjoyed was the pool tables.I lost my car key on college night here and called the branding iron to ask if anyone had seen it and if they could look. When i talked to the lady on the phone she was rude and had a bitchy tone to me and would not check around for my lost key. Also she was impatient with my stuttering, which I cant help because I am a stutterer.The customer service is rude and impolite.
Since I couldn’t comment back on a previous post I made and I am completely infuriated by the response I received...I will make another post. As the owner of the BI you VERY well know that my review about safety and the issue my friend had is 100% TRUE. So I’m saddened to see you lie because prior to that you could have earned my business back but now that I’m aware that you do NOT care about the safety of your guest but you also will LIE to save your image. WOW. I understand not wanted bad review...but if thats the case then you should have simply apologized and promised to do better or shouldn’t have responded to my comment at all. It’s disgusting that you would FLAT OUT LIE when my friend is currently still healing from a hole in his stomach because he got stabbed in YOUR bar, where searching procedures were NOT done correctly. Thank you for the years of fun but now I will definitely not be back. I hope those reading this finds my previous review and understands exactly what kind of place they are going to. SO DISAPPOINTING.

Theres no place quite like the Brandin Iron. All the bartenders are awesome as are the waitresses/cocktail servers. DJ Dave is simply the best and Pepper from K-Frog comes in and spins some tunes on occasions. Lets not leave out DJ Mark and the awesome Juan in the Cattlemens Kitchen. And the best reason of all is the lovely ladies I get to two step and cha cha with as well as line dance. Oh yeah those dance instructors are first rate.
So, the thong song is when we decided to bounce. Country bar is what we came for, and the DJ apparently didnt know how to do that.Venue was clean, well laid out, and sound was good. The DJ was the problem.
The people are very friendly the dj actually plays your request wed. They do college night good place to hang out without any issues kick back or dance to country,pop and hip hop

I just got home and I wouldnt have made it this far if it werent for the attentiveness of the bartenders let alone the manager on staff. The entire staff is amazing and ill have nothing to say to my friends should they ever question the sheer awesomeness of this place, except that the BRANDING IRON is the best bar in town .
Drinks are always good. Nights are busy but wait staff has never gotten an order wrong. Music requests are taken.

Great concert ( Thank you Drake White) worst customer service ever!!! Will never return here. Literally waited 1 hr and a half for a cold stale inedible burger. Not much better service at the bar.
The staff was nice. But it is realllllllllllly ghetto, they didnt have AC, and one of the ladies checking the I.D.s was extremely rude. Brandin Iron is more booty shaking music than it is country. But what can you expect in the middle of San Bernardino? Stampede in Temecula is definitely better than this place. It may be $5 more expensive, but it is definitely worth it. Id recommend Stampede over Brandin Iron any day.
Very very disappointed**** long story short IM 25 YEARS OLD AND BROUGHT TWO LOVELY LADIES WITH ME FROM LA!!!! 9to check out the branding iron used to come to college nights years ago).. 1st---- i puill up and its DEAD!! 1st concern.. walked up to I.D checkoutside the venue AND WAS TOLD I WOULD BE KICKED OUT IF MY PANTS WERE TO SAG INSIDE... mind you im wearing skinny jeans and a button up shirt WITH TWO GIRLS!!!!--2ND we walk in and are NOT GREETED BY THE WOMEN AT THE REGISTER so we walk in only to be called back for her to check our IDs ( SHE SHOULDVE JUST GREETED US AS WE WALKED IN!! kind of annoying but okay at this point i can tell we are getting kind of the stiff shoulder from staff ---she took 2min checkin the ladies ID --WASNT THAT SERIOUS TO TAKE THAT LONG THE VENUE IS DEAD!!! and LASTLY THE REASON WE LEFT!!!! and for the 2nd time and before im even in the VENUE IM TOLD AGAIN ILL BE KICKED OUT IF MY PANTS SAGG!! like for real!! 2022-01-22I ordered for a glass of white wine. It was smooth and really enjoyed. To eat ordered for the Press crepes. Well presented dish, served two and very tasty!! Next time would like to try out their wine flights. A glass of wine and a small plate was $25, not very cheap,but not bad either! On Thursday evening it was well occupied with good mix of people.

2017-01-03Perfect for a Date Night or a night out with friends. Great music. Inexpensive drinks and even really good food. I was very impressed. They have different themed nights so I would check online to see what you like. Dj or a life band or both. That staff is very friendly and I even Met the Owner Bill and He was so nice. I can see why his place is so great.

2020-10-15It is a nice nightclub! I used to frequent this club in 2015 and 2016. I especially enjoyed Fridays. After getting off work, and spending time in this establishment on weekends. The music was really great. At the same time, they had a good selection of beers and meals to choose from. Too bad, that because of this quarantine, everything had to shut down. Hopefully, when this State is reopened, I will definitely visit this place again. I have positive memories, from this establishment. Of course, I spent more time at gentlemens clubs. However this is one of the rare nightclubs, where I do not regret spending my free time, and more time!

2019-03-09This place is awesome.We took our son here for his 21-st birthday and had an amazing time. The staff is very friendly and professional, especially Rick who made us feel very welcome.Also - Rick (we think he’s the manager) was very kind and supportive of his staff. It was great how the entire staff worked together to make sure the guest has a great time. Everyone from the doorman, to the bartenders, DJ, and the mechanical bull operator were great. Plus - the band was great!We will be back!

2019-05-09The setting and atmosphere were very good. Comedy clubs can sometimes be beer-soaked. The menu is very limited, but I guess when youre there to laugh and not to eat, thats what happens. Although it would be nice to see a wider food selection. The comedy was a nice mix of women to men, and funny to so-so. We enjoyed ourselves.

2021-10-13I had my DL it was expired and I had a print out copy of my new one coming in from the dmv since it was stolen and they wouldn’t let me in . I even had my college ID too, drove an hour to get turned way .

2018-11-29This is a very fun place. It is like a second home to me, and the people here are like family. If you are looking for a fun place to hangout and dance with friends then this is a place for you. They also have great food, and I recommend the chicken strips or the LA Dog. If you dont know how to line dance yet then come out on a Friday or Saturday night at 8pm and you can learn. The instructors are great at helping you learn and very informative. I recommend this place to everyone I know.
