Blue Star is awesome! Jeff is the most committed and down to earth HVAC guy I know. Hes got an awesome team, and together they provide what is probably the best HVAC service in East County. The best thing about Blue Star is that if it happens to be the case that they dont provide the best service possible, they have a no fix, no pay guarantee.Additionally, the owner, Jeff Scalier, is a hard working, honest and extremely ethical guy who also happens to have a very funny sense of humor. Hes also part of a legacy of HVAC repair men (his father was in the business too). Ive met Jeff on more than one occasion and I would definitely trust him to do my deaf and blind grandmothers HVAC with nobody in the house but a hungry dog (who might eat Jeff since hes not a very big guy).I highly recommend Blue Star. 5 stars for downright awesomeness!!

They dont make appointments but will tell you, call next week, we only have two guys. Called the following week, same advice given to call again next week. If you like gambling, call them.

I was told by another company that I needed a new ac unit blue star was recomended by a friend.in less than a minute my ac was diagnosed,in a few hours my ac was working and I saved about $4000

They gave us a time slot of 1 pm to 3 pm . It is now 4:12 and they havent showed up . They wont answer their phone either .

2022-03-22A big thank you to Jeff and Colten from Blue Star Heating and Air! They installed a ductless mini split in my home, right at the time my daughter had to switch to online learning. 2021-07-22Called Blue star about my ac problems. Got scheduled in quickly. Technician arrived on time like they said they would he was very professional explained the problem and what he did to fix it. I will keep using blue star from here on. Pricing is really good For the service they provide . I would recommend them for anyone needing hvac repair.

2020-09-16This company is GREAT! Yes that are small BUT that is how they can remember each and every customer!We were getting bids to replace our older AC system and they INCLUDED permits and ALL we needed in a QUOTE. The team came in and replaced system it works GREAT and we saved LOTS compared to our other bid from local companies. THANK YOU BLUE STAR!!

2015-02-12We just had Jeff and his crew install a new furnace and air conditioner. Jeff took care of all the permits and appts. with the inspectors. His crew was pleasant, courteous and clean. The job was on time and on budget. Overall, it was a great experience with a good contractor. We would highly recommend his company to anyone.

2016-07-08Blue Star is awesome! Carlos is very Professional and Provides Excellent Service. He is Very Knowledgeable and taught me about the Reme Halo System which purifies your Air. It is a whole home sanitation system that keeps mold, viruses, smells, pollens and allergens out of the home.Additionally, Eric is a Awesome to work with too. These guys are hard working, professional, honest, ethical and have a great sense of humor. I definitely trust these guys to take care of my A/C needs.I highly recommend Blue Star. 5 stars for awesomeness!!

2019-02-26Very poor service! It took days before a rep came to assess the heater. They determined a new valve was needed. It took “3-4 days” for the part. They came today & the heater still doesn’t work so it’s going to be another “3 to 4 days for another part”. How about replacing the whole damn unit and figuring out what’s wrong with it on your own time and discomfort!?I deserve a rent reduction due to your poor service. Not to mention the fact that I wanted to be present when the vendor was here and I wasn’t.

2020-02-23My inducer mortor went out last week and the part was order and installed the same day it arrived. Pretty awesome.However, the real story is that I have been having air flow problems for 4 years, that 4 different HVAC contractors have not been able to fix. So I use space heaters in addition to a central heating system. My PG&E bill is over the top to say the least.The cold is very painful for me because I am a terminal Cancer patient taking chemo. I explain this to Terry when he installed the new mortor. To my surprise, he made adjustments to my heater, so my house could get heated without the additional space heaters.Without his caring knowledge and actions, I would not be enjoying a blissful 70 degrees at night. This speaks volumes about him and his company.Thank you for caring and the knowledge to help fix the problem. A Shout out to Curtis Holzer Insurance, who recommended Blue Star. Your all are truly awesome.

2014-01-21Blue Star is the best heating and air company Ive ever dealt with, our furnace stopped working, it went out early in the week but unfortunately I needed someone to come out on Saturday because of my work schedule, I called Blue Star on Saturday because of the great reviews on Yelp and Google, Im glad I did, spoke with the owner Jeff who was currently on a job, he didnt think he could come out because of his busy schedule, but said he could try to squeeze me later in the afternoon. He was able to get to my house to check out the furnace and diagnose the problem immediately. I asked him if the unit would need to be replaced since the year earlier another company informed me because of the age of the unit, it would eventually need to be replaced, they normally last for 20 years, so this would make it exactly 20 years. Jeff told me that this unit is in good condition and just needed a part installed, he could have pulled a fast one and inform me that the furnace would need to be replaced, but he told me everything about our furnace, what was wrong with it, what parts would need to be replaced and if I did need to replace the unit how much it would cost. Luckily it was just a part, not the whole unit. This is truly a great company, owned by a great and honest individual, will use this company for all my HVAC needs. Highly recommended, great customer service. Thanks for all your Help Blue Star!
