Most items I asked for were 86ed by Friday 9pm. Even the shareable pizza dough size was 86, so I ordered a large. The large had less toppings than a shareable size, so I basically ordered a dough pizza. Imagine a pizza of barely cooked dough. Your local Mexican restaurant like Alberts delivers a more consistent food exp. They even ran out of root beer and couldnt deliver decent food. From my exp, management failed here. Cant deliver a good experience or set expectations for a good night-out-experience. The bar staff was understanding and I cant fault any of them for lack of management unless theres a learning/training issue, which is still management.
Very disappointed with the food at this location. I ordered the brisket bacon burger and it barely had any brisket on it which was completely opposite from described in the menu. My friend had the scampi and tri-tip and the tri-tip couldnt have been more than 3oz. I dont know if they are rationing because of the loss of money from COVID, but ration the prices as well. Will not be going back to this location.
They had us waiting for an hour the server didn’t know her tables. When I say this girl with the red hair was racist I mean it and towards Mexicans. She sat up to 5 groups the same and more than us. That when I had gone to ask how much longer she called her manager and Kim told us 5 minutes and to make things worst we waited another 30 minutes. It took a man to speak for us for her to walk away and say she’ll look for a table then proceeded to talk to other servers and didn’t come back until we were walking out and when we turned back to ask she walked away again saying yes I’m looking. Honestly the way they reply to reviews made us wait longer but they just reply to make it look as if they do.
MEDIOCRE.Slow, slow, slow.Server gave me 2 choices of how I wanted my salmon. I chose grilledIt came baked. My server then informed me grilled wasnt an option! The rice was mushy and the broccoli was cold. The hibiscus iced tea is fruit punch.HUGE menu, too bad they cant execute the items.
Been wanting to go since the pandemic. Place was not crowded, they did not have the 14 pizza crust in stock so I had to get a bigger size ( Wish I could had got it for the 14 price but Im not going to make them do it or ask them to do so). Every thing was fine. Not fantastic but for the times we are in Im just glad I was able to dine in.
Went to Js to celebrate a family members 40th birthday. We had a big party and the location was very accommodating. The staff was friendly and attentive considering it got busy a little after we arrived. The food came out in a timely manner and was thoroughly delicious. A great spot whether grabbing a quick bite to eat or look to celebrate something special.
I love BJ’s for their food, their bar, and the ambiance. BUT I’m giving a 1 star review based solely on service. We made a reservation for my brothers graduation party. I was told the “patio room” for our group can only accommodate a group of 25. Our reservation was set for 8:30pm. I arrived an hour-30min early to try and reserve extra seating in the dining room because I knew we were over 25. We were told it was an hour wait BUT not once were we told the bar seating was open if tables were available. Which would’ve been great since our guests were already here. The patio room that could host 25 only? Only 1 server, her name was Tai was actually trying to help us. She is the only who let us know there was an outside extension to the room. This helped us so much with additional seating BUT If we were told sooner, our party wouldn’t have been in a panic when our room finally opened. The ladies at reception when you enter the door, their attitude was terrible. They were slow, unresponsive, and quite frankly weren’t hospitable to our party at all. It was obvious they didn’t care, they were tired and honestly irritated. Only Tai and a Caucasian lady I don’t know her name - they were the only ones who were genuinely trying to help us. At the end of the night, we paid our gratuity accordingly with the bill BUT the waitress/waiter was disappointed over the tip they were given directly. Honestly, you give great service you will be tipped great. If not, I’m sorry it is what it is. Attitude in the hospitality industry goes a long way. We brought a lot of business with our party alone. We just needed help with coordinating seating. Anything really to help us manage our event. The bathrooms? Absolutely disgusting. That’s what venues are supposed to do.
Waited over an hour for food, server was not checking up on us at all, I went with a group of friends on Monday and we’re all adults but look like young teenagers, the service we got wasnt very good especially since we had to ask the server twice when we wanted things.
First got there atmosphere and being greeted by the server was excellent but when it came time to get our food wasnt what we asked for. Informed a manager she just dust us off took the food handed us the menu and said find something else youll like. I was turned off from the treatment so I just asked for my receipt and left. Appetizer was great but we specifically asked for the pizza with extra sauce and received no sauce.
The pizookie was delicious. It was my first time having one. I had the classic chocolate chip and my friend had the limited time frooty pebbles cereal pizookie, they were both great, I can see why the restaurant is known for them. I feel like every bite should be enveloped with the ice cream because thats the whole point of the dessert. Eat it quickly yet it enjoy it at your pace.
If i could give zero stars i would the server took 30 min to notice we were there order our food then after the fact where told that they were out of calamari they served our beer instantly got our margarita appetizer 45 min later then after that took another 45 min to get our food my Philly cheesesteak bread was stale tasted dry worst 3 hrs spent of my life
Yup lol , it was Amazing!!! This is why we go out to eat!!! The food was fresh sweet salty meaty cheesy toasty creamy wonderfully marries with the Tri Tip used to top off the nachos!!! Yes nachos, fully loaded tri-tip nachos an appetizer that serves as a meal; For two, easy. Sporty ambiance with dim lights thanks to the COVID-19 regulations you are in your own room when you are seated. Never an empty glass foods hot at your table and waited on fewer seating and owning it right for clearly top shelf service and foods I loved it as did my family which sat at the table with me!!!
I was looking forward to the fries but as you can see how they packed them of course they are cold. No wonder looked at all those bags just sitting there. My food was literally sitting there while I waited 🥴. Even after I told three servers my name already. I was going to give 3 stars but it’s 2 now.
BJs has nice sports bar atmosphere with plenty of TVs for sports viewing. Very nice bar area. The menu is pretty nicely varied and every meal Ive had there has tasted great. I personally love their deep dish Pizza. Very tasty crust and great toppings. For dessert, the Pizookie is a must. Its a pretty popular place and can get pretty busy on weekends. Probably a good idea to reserve ahead of time especially durring peak sports seasons.
Fairly decent & delicious food. I really, really love their avocado rolls. It can take a while before your order arrive. Very social setting, so if you’re looking for a romantic place to dine, this is not it. Just a place to meet up with friends and family and just be around a crowd and be social then this is your spot.
Your take out team SUCKS! always getting every single one of my delivery orders wrong, no effort put into the service at all! Then the manager says theres nothing he can do because its through doordash.. Its the place that YOU manage it has everything to do with you!!!!! I waited over an hour and this food is not cheap!! Now Im left with nasty food and I cant get a free meal or a refund, ridiculous!!! Dont eat here you will be disappointed .
I went to this location for the first time with my family to celebrate my husband birthday and I got to say that waiting an hour and a half for the service and quality of food we got was one of the worst experiences Ive had. The waitress Sarah came like twice through out our service and I had to ask her for service and took her a while to come back. Once we received our food it was cold and even got the order wrong. I hate complaining so to not embarrass my party I stayed quiet. I have to say I will not be returning and Im very disappointed because we love BJs.
BJs is a cavernous dining space with long bar, tall stools & chairs, standard table dinIng. Came for a birthday party & found out there are outdoor dining areas w/ long table to accommodate about 12 people. The menu here is great in that they list calorie counts to be able to do sensible dinIng without unknowingly ordering high calorie items such as the loaded baked potato at a whopping 1100 calories.I got the golden beet & arrugula salad, touch of pleasantly tangy feta cheese, crunchy, nutty roasted almonds, red onions, sweet sour strawberry vinaigrette. Good melange of textures & flavours that created a great salad at only 120 calories.Double Bone In Pork Chop is thick, brined so the meat stayed moist, and I requested the meat be cooked 2 minutes less since many restaurants over cook pork to a hard, dry texture. Their Poppa Smoker rub coated the chop for a salty herbed undertone that complemented to the lightly meaty pork. While it was still warm, the meat had a melt in you mouth quality. Excellent cooking detail considering the kitchen seemed to be serving hundreds on a busy Friday night.2 sides:Roasted asparagus was slightly undercooked which was fine, but they were left sitting under heat for quite a while so the base of the stocks got wrinkly, & it was fibrous tough. I had to discreetly take out the inedible mass of green fibre from my mouth. 20 caloriesCaesar salad was a total pass. Slighty wilted romaine, bland dressing, stale croutons. Where was the brined anchovy? Grated parmesan cheese when BJs should be using at least Grana Padana. Not worth 400 calories.Ballast Point Grapefruit Sculpin IPA is golden brown, bit yeasty cloudy. Touch citrus fruit, sweet sour tones, tyipical hoppy herbal, chalky minerality. It is a sipping beer that paired well with the meal.Service was fine, efficient, 3+ stars.
My dad had been asking about going out to eat for awhile now, but the timing has been terrible. Finally, I figure we should take advantage of the Veterans Day menu. Thats kinda big for us. We arent the type of veterans who cash in on our service. But it was a good excuse to go out and get some food. I chose BJs because I like the franchise and the food is generally good no matter where youre at. My dad is a picky eater and I wanted him to enjoy his time.So I was amazed and pleased that he took one bite of the spaghetti & meatballs dinner and his eyes lit up. He looked at me and said This is JUST right! High praise from him. He went on to say that it wasnt salty, that it had the right amount of sauce, the right spice, and even the meatballs were perfect. He actually finished his dinner before I did! I had the parmesan chicken, a dinner Ive had before and knew I liked. I enjoyed my dinner, as well. So, big thanks to BJs for the great food and for your kind recognition of our military service. I have a feeling my dad will not hesitate if I say we should go to BJs for dinner in the future.
Ordered thru postmate at 5:39pm and pickup time was 6:13 pm. Arrived at the restaurant at 6:00 and showed screen shot of order to the statff but just heard that order was not in the system. Gave order number and name again and waited and waited. Other staff came to me and told me that he found order on other computer. Finally received the food at 6:30 and the staff told me that they received the order thru postmate at 6:20 but when I checked the food in the car, it was already very cold. It took so long to find order in the system even though I gave him order number and name. Liar!
Our waiter Will was exceptional. Thank you Will! The food was great as well. Came out hot which is the most important. My mozzarella cheese sticks were fire 🔥! Hot and gooey. Everyone there was polite. Manager served to stay in top of things as he floated about the restaurant checking on things that need to be checked on lol.Anyways we enjoyed our lunch there... Sans kids 😊
I had the Baby Back Short Ribs with grilled Asparagus and a Baked Potato. Ribs were fall off the bone tender with a sweet BBQ sauce that was baked on. Grilled Asparagus were cooked perfectly with a little Sea Salt added for flavor. Baked Potato was a large potato that was cooked to be very soft with butter. Staff was very attentive and food arrived quickly and hot. I would recommend this place for dine in.
Im a fan of BJs, so they must have had an off night. Ordered a personal size pizza with no tomatoes but added red onions. The three other people I was with got their food but mine took a really long time. When it finally came, it had tomatoes and no red onion. Sent it back to start over. By the time I got it, my friends were almost finished with their meals. At least our waitress comped my salted caramel pizookie!
The service has become extremely poor. During my today visit, I was out of restaurant for just 10-15 minutes and forgot a to take back with me my bag which I left on the hook near the bar area. I called to check if the bag is there, I also told the exact location of the bag also but the person did not put any effort and was of no help. During my last visit, I was served spaghetti and requested to not add tomato, but got the food was cold and without any other vegetables. The server was rude, when asked to correct the order.
This was the worst service I have received .... Seated 7:30pm asked for water 7:43pm received water 7:50pm waited to place a order waiting advised waiter I didnt appreciate feeling ignored 8:14pm placed a starter menu order waiting again again again again 8:32pm placed order for main course 8:45pm received 1 of 2 starters 8:57pm main meals came out..we told the waiter to remove the other starter item (by the way it was chips and dip- just put it on the plate geesh)... My well done burger was raw inside.Told the manager ... He looked unconcerned..... He walked away he came back and asked did we get the other starter.... I clearly told him we didnt get it but advised him we waited such a long time for the 1 starter that we did get that he brought out😫 then I showed him my burger was just shaped meat with BBQ sauce covering the rawness. He did not take care of the bill. He took off the starter ( duh ) my meal ( duh ) then asked if I wanted the chips and dip to go. Reallllllllllllllly so I can wait another :50 minutes? No thank you no sir ..... We paid exactly by cash the remaining bill $38.98 on the table But wait. The waiter was there for that🥴
Extremely long wait for everything and food was not what I remember it to be. Cold mahi mahi tacos, super salty boneless buffalo strips and the nachos tasted something similar to Taco Bell. Our server never checked on us and the sriracha Brussels sprouts were dry. I guess this place it good for drinks and the ambiance but not necessarily dinner.
Terrible waitress and host good was not that good. I ordered a burger and a drink. First thing she says oh those are not on special. I responded Im not here for the special. I come to BJs brewery for a specific burger and a specific drink. She also has the nerve to ask me for my ID. Its a brewery I go for that specific drink they brew. Then I guess their manager comes by to explain to me the same thing lousy thinking. The burger was not made well either. Ended up drinking water I was so annoyed I had already ordered the burgers first because I didnt remember the drinks me and my wife usually order. So while I looked at the drink menu I ordered the food other wise I would have left.
Had burger and fries. Tri tip sliders and Fries. We could tell our server was mad we asked to sit out of section. The food runner was super nice but the pizza togo box was covered in tomato sauce from handling.Server over charged us for mealNo upsell on dessertsBathroom sink in ladies room was broken.Just wanted to leave asap.
Had the 16oz rib eye steak and Loaded mashed potatoes and seasoned fries...Rib eye cooked to perfection 👌 fries hot and fresh 😋.... but the mashed potatoes was cold. Waitress brought me a side order of mashed potatoes on 🔥 😊 if my mashed potatoes was hot the first time I would have gave them 5 stars 🌟
I was trying to celebrate a special occasion and normally they have good quality food here. I placed a takeout order, they forgot one side dish, no utensils were provided, and worst of all, both of our steaks were flat out RAW. My boyfriends rice was covered in steak blood and the asparagus was also uncooked. Save your time and money and don’t eat here
Excellent experience and loved the curbside pickup options and modifications.Would eat at bjs anytime soon. Excellent food as well , also loved the chicken club sandwich they served me with sweet potato fries. SO CONVENIENT FOR PICKUP JUST BY TELLING THEM WHAT NUMBER YOU PARKED AT AND YOUR CAR MODEL NUMBER AND MAKE!!! BEST FOOD EVER!!!
Never do curbside w/ these yahoos. InCoMpEtEnT!Pizookie (choc chip & macadamium)=5startsFood=3to4 startsCurb Side delivery = NEGATIVE 5 STARSDont offer a service you can NOT fulfill.I arrived at the time my online order said to come.I clicked the arrival link in my email (someone, will be w/ me shortly).10 minutes pass, no one comes. I call, hey Im here, where is my order.Give person my name, they say someone will be there shortly.5minutes pass, NO one. Call again, someone will be there shortly. 5 additional minutes pass.Fffffffffff!Walk to take-out window. My order has been sitting on theirncounter for some time b/c pizza was barely warm to touch!
Foods good, service was spotty. Waiter was fine, the other people serving us seemed they could care less about service, the whole restaurant had no paper napkins, suggested the bar napkins and she just left and said go check the bar. Place needs better management and higher standards for hiring service oriented people. Again, the waiter was fine but most of the rest of the staff wasnt too concerned with customer service.... Ive heard this from others too.
It was an awesome experience celebrating my Grandmothers Birthday dinner here at this BJs. We made a reservation a few days prior. We were a large party and our waiter did the best he could to help us. I enjoyed my meal as well. I ordered the southern chicken sandwich with house salad. Im not a fan of the BJs menu normally but last night was Awesome! Would recommend this location for sure!
Last time I was here 2 yrs ago service was terrible, came here for my birthday reservations were booked for 2 hrs. Ordered pick up waited an hour when it said it would be ready in 25 min.had to call twice for them to bring my order out . This place is ridiculous and a joke. Don’t waste your time coming here.
Met with a friend here fir lunch for the first time. I absolutely LOVE the Cauliflower and Lentil side dish. Some locations dont get it right...This location got it perfect! So perfect, in fact, that my friend ordered it in addition to her burger and fries and NEVER touched her burger! She enjoyed this dish so much that she proclaimed it to now be her go-to item no matter what else she orders. Service was amazing with very nice, efficient and attentive wait staff. I will most certainly be back here and will make this our monthly meeting place.
Worth the wait! Avoid the dinner rush and you will be seated much quicker.Walk up to the host who will take your phone number down to let you know when your table is ready.Once your table is ready, the host will take you to your seats. They have a big menu! The snakebite is one of my favorite cheap drinks here.
I do not go to BJs very often, but I received a gift card as a gift for $100.00. When I went to the restaurant to redeem my gift card, I was told that there was only $1.56 on the card. After looking up the transaction history, it showed that the card was spent at a location that I never been to and that is not even close to where I reside. The employee at the restaurant was no help and told me that there was nothing he could do. Do not buy gift cards from them. Their system is not secure and you will just be wasting your money.
This wasnt the best of experiences that I have had at BJs. I dont visit often since dont have any really convenient to where I live. This was my second visit to this location. Being a single diner and wanting to take advantage of the happy hour I chose to sit in the bar area. It was busy, and had to wait for a table to leave. It took awhile for the table to be cleaned after the people left. Once I finally sat, the booth seat was not comfortable with a big sag in the middle. I had three different servers. When my food was delivered I realized I had no silverware it took quite awhile to flag someone down to get this, in fact in the time it took to find someone, ask for it and actually get it my pizza was rather on the cool side. Felt kind of rushed with having my check dropped off before I was finished, no asking if I wanted anything else or wanted dessert. But yet when server took my credit card he stopped and took orders at other tables on the way to run my card.
Im not sure what was going on with our server tonight but her service was terrible. I understand that a 9 party table is going to be a challenge for anyone but to avoid our table like she did was disrespectful. Our group had called ahead to reserve a table, we let her know in advance that we were splitting the check and how, and we ordered our drinks and food at the same time to try and lessen her work load. Overall the food was good, there was a bit of a wait for dinner orders and more complicated appetizers but that was to be expected for such a large party. The real issue was our waitress who only occasionally came to check in us. She forgot part of our drink order and seemed irked when we let her know a drink was missing. When it came time to pay we got the check at 10:22pm and werent able to pay with anyone until 11:53pm when we managed to catch the eyes of a hostess. We asked her twice for to-go boxes which we recieved from the hostess. This is the second time if been to this location and I dont believe there will be a third.
Came at 430 pm on a Thursday. Walked right in, no wait. Indoor dining tables spread out. Booth sitting, every other booth used. Tables are separated by 6 feet. Trimmed BJs menu but still lots of choices. Classic mojito was good, bit too much mint. Beers are good. Ziti was on point as always but the pizza was no as good this thime. Only warm when it came out. Warm pizza is not as good as hot, cheese dripping pizza. Pepperonis & peppers were only warm didnt look cooked much if at all. Poiints off for that.
We came to BJs to celebrate my friends birthday. The experience could have been better, mainly with customer service, but the food is pretty good.First off, the customer service. I must stress that it needs to be improved ASAP. Initially, we came in and reserved a table for 7. We were told that the wait would be around 90 minutes and that a text would be sent out to notify us. That text never came, and when we returned to check on the reservation, the restaurant had multiple empty tables! We ended up telling the host again that we had a party of 7, and we were led to a table right away. Additionally, it took more than 5 minutes for a waiter to come and take our drink orders. The server never gave her name either and did not seem to want to be there. Utensils were also not placed on the table ahead of time and we only got them after asking and waiting for a long while. Refills for refreshments also took longer than usual.Second, the restaurant itself. The ambiance is acceptable, but the lighting is a little too dark in corner tables, like where we were placed. The noise level is decent enough and is suitable for casual dining. However, our table had crumbs littered on the seats and some stains were left on them. Overall cleanliness in the dining area can be improved.Lastly, the food. The food is perhaps this reviews saving grace. It was delicious and I would come back for more. I ordered the Deep Dish Ziti, which I recommend to anyone who enjoys pasta dishes. The rest of my partys meal portions were filling, and they all equally enjoyed their orders. The wait for food was as expected: not too long, which is always a good thing.Overall, I was not happy with the service, and slightly disappointed with the restaurants cleanliness, but the food was excellent. I hope that the next time I visit, this will all be improved.
The management at this location is terrible. It’s 55 degrees and they ran out of gas for their heaters. They provide no blankets or anything for customers to warm up. Honestly they should have closed for the night due to inhospitable conditions for outside dining. The manager was also very rude and didn’t seem to care.
Havent been here in a while, but in my experience, the quality of the food is not as good. There was very little chicken in my chicken sandwich and the formerly fantastic calamari was limp and fairly tasteless. However, the brussel sprouts were terrific. One good note, the servers were still some of the best in town.
Had a nice lunch, got seated on a booth near the bar. The place was not too crowded but had good amount of people there for lunch hour. We picked the shrimp pasta plate as well as the Parmesan Crusted Chicken both where very good and excellent. The pasta dish was of very large portion and the Parmesan Crusted Chicken was accompanied by mash potatoes and broccoli. We also picked the top shelf margarita and the Long island. Service was friendly and adequate delivery of our order
I will start with a compliment. The food was good. And the staff were tolerable. Now, for the negative. The wait was way too long. It was a Saturday night so it was busy. But our server didnt refill our drinks or attend to us at all. And we waited for for at least 45 minutes for our main dish. We waited about 30 minutes for our appetizers. (I know out of order). We ordered the beer taster. It took about 20 minutes to receive it and then there was no way to tell which beer was which. So much for tasting. I dont know which one i liked or didnt like. We finally got our main dish. The fries for the kids tasted like they had been sitting for some time. And they served my husband and I our food without anything to eat it with and also his meal was not complete. When they brought out his side dish it was cold. Just so you know i complained to management and he brought out fresh plates for the kids and they brought out a hot side dish. He was very understanding and willing to correct the lack in the quality of service. By this time the irritation had set in and we couldnt enjoy our meal. Then the waiter gave an attitude because we wanted the change due back to us. I cant say I wont go back to BJs but definitely not this one.
So me and my girlfriend go to this location often and I must say that every time recently has been worse. Tonight though takes the cake. So we get seated and for 20 mins no one came over to us. Everyone to my right was being served and not us. What really set me off was the fact that people got seated to the left on me and within 2 minutes someone was taking their drink order. I go to speak with a manager and she was no help. Im a pretty patient and understanding and all I wanted was an explanation to see if I was taking the situation too seriously. All she did was give me answers she thought I was looking for and I ended up just leaving. I will not be back to this location. Hopefully you will avoid it too
Yesterday had lunch at BJs Restaurant with my girlfriend. Lunch was very good as always the food there is excellent but the best thing on the whole menu is their beignet dessert. You cant get it any other place. Thats one of the only reason why I go to BJs even though the food is excellent I usually go there because I want the beignet dessert. Service was good. The atmosphere is nice. It tends to get a little noisy in there sometimes but the food is worth it. Im usually so into the food and trying to get to the beignet dessert that I dont even notice the noise that much. Theres TVs all around for sports also. Their pizzas are very good their fish is very good and everything that any of my friends have ever ordered they just raved about that was very good also.
On average, its a hit or miss kind of place for me but this most recent visit was very pleasant. Our waiter gave us a helping hand on how we could save some money on items by downloading their app. And multiple waiters came up to us to insure we had everything we needed. It was lovely. The food is great but the noise is a bit overwhelming most often but this time it was a lower level.
Worst BJS Ive ever been to! First the waiter drops the pizza which I didnt mind because of course that happens once in a while. Secondly to get the pizza again it took 30 minutes and it arrived cold. Thirdly when we asked for ranch and lemon it took another 30 minutes. Then when we asked for the bill it took another 30 minutes, mind you it was on a Tuesday night with not that many people at all. So then of course when the bill came I barely left a tip. Couple days later I look at my recent purchases on my card and it was overcharged by $12. Instead of doing a charge back I went back to speak to a manger. She told me could you wait around the mall while we investigate this situation. Well few hours later nothing not even a call back, so I wasted 4 hours of my Friday for nothing. So then I just called my bank and got the $12 back. Dumb me trying to be nice and go back to the place to solve it.
Service from hostess to waiter.was awesome, friendly and interactive. Hiring personnel is doing a great job finding the right people. drinks awesome. soup. awesome. appetizer awesome. kids loved their food except for the fact that there is no grilled cheese on kids menu🤦💆🙍. asparagus was hair thin and of course, overcooked. they should not serve veggies that are not in season or of good quality. Imperfections with food is huge for person that will not eat somthing doesnt look perfect in every way. My appetite disappeared. However, I would definitely go back and ask questions before making menu decision.
Very poor service. First came the side sallad for the main course. Than the drinks and shortly thereafter the main courses. We sent them out and asked for the starters. Five minutes later the main courses arrived again, not too warm. Shortly thereafter the lights turned bright indicating closing time. However the food tasted good.
I went to the establishment last night after the incident I had at the establishment in Orange. I didnt have to deal with an employee attempting to block me from trying to park in a stall.I was also fortunate to have a great waitress named Krystina. She was very respectful and attentive. I received my order in a timely manner. I didnt have to track her down to place my order. The food and libation were good.Thank you again for your service, Krystina. It was greatly appreciated.
I have not been to the Del Amo location in a few years. It was a really chill atmosphere and college football was on every flat screen! Yes!!!! My lemon drop martini was delicious. The staff was excellent and prompt. The nuff your own beer sampler is a must!!! Cheers 🍸🍸🍻🍻
The service was completely horrible. they didn’t give us any utensils to begin with and the wings tasted like nothing. We ordered fries on the side for $3.50 only to have fries slapped on a small plate. The star is because of the dessert and this comment but other than that I was very unsatisfied with the service and the food.
Not only was the service really bad tonight. But the food is going downhill. The last two times I have visited two different BJs, the food has been utterly disappointing and hard to eat They have stopped making their own salad dressing and they are using store-bought croutons as well when their menu says homemade. Very disappointed when this used to be one of my favorite places. I guess theyre trying to cut corners. The last time I ordered a Pizookie it was raw in the middle. And the girl tried to tell me thats how they are served.
I treated. My family after. Church to BJs it was a 20 minute wait, not too bad! When we were sitted we had no silverware or napkins! The. Serveperson seemed frazzled or maybe just Tired! He kept forgetting what we ordered especially. The silverware for the whole table! Our food wasnt. That Great either! My Shrimp Scampi was Greasy! They dont. Serve Breads. Like other restaurants either!I like to try New Places, but I wont. Go back there!Service was not that. Great for The money I spent!!
Whether I order curbside or dine in, this place is a mess. My curbside order has been mangled twice. They just cant seem to get it right? The last time I dined in, one of the waiters spilt a tray of shots all over the back of my hair and my dress. I was actually heading to work and had to go back home, shower off the alcohol and delay myself by an hour to work. The GM that evening was Scott and he took care of the party by removing $50 off their bill, but did absolutely nothing for me. I was the person affected by the alcohol spill....not the group. When I called to get my online curbside order resolved, I still till this day, not received a call back; not once. Even after contacting another GM asking her to resolve this, Scott has still not returned my call. Extremely poor service by Scott and whats upsetting is this is the only BJs local to my home. I really hope they get their act together?!? BTW the other manager took care of my curbside issues to which Im thankful for.
One thing I want to highlight: the service. Now I’ve always come to this BJs and never really had a problem with it until today. We got our food before the appetizer, we didn’t get any utensils until we asked for it and last but not Least we figured out the plate was hot when my boyfriend burned his finger. Yeah I’m very disappointed, I’m never coming here again.
My family of three went here to eat on Easter Sunday and was treated with discrimination by the Hispanic hostess. We waited while a specific table was being cleaned for us, and a Hispanic couple came in 10 minutes after us and asked for our table facing the TV. The hostess told us we would have to wait for another table because of their request. The hostess was extremely rude and unprofessional. I spoke with the manager and he admitted she was wrong for what she did however we decided to leave and eat elsewhere. They ruined the mood for us this Easter.
Love this place and food♡Unfortunately this time we came for lunch and qaited for 45 minutes to get water survedServer was pretty slow and rudeWasnt happy at all this timeAppetizer was canceled after additional 30 min wait.Soup and salad arrived only for one person. Not sure what happened ...So we got our food just now and the chicken parmesan had hair in it...Never complain but this is ridiculousThey better give us a good discount today!Waiting for EVEROnly got water, cold soup, salad, they canceled appetizer and chicken had hair!Cant it get worse?Yes it canWaited for another 30 min to get a check and it was messed up too...wanted a dessert but glad i got kitkat in my bag, otherwise i d sure get all crazy and leave...Overall no discount, super slow service this time ..unhappy customer and still had to tip.....
I saw a commercial about the New York style pizza and I had to leave a comment. Slow service! Whether youre waiting FOREVER to get seated, or waiting FOREVER for someone to take your order, or bring your food. Waiters make lots of mistakes because some are not writing down your order.....lol.....pizza dough is always uncooked inside. Ive had a lot of bad experiences at this location, so I havent been back to any Bjs in almost 2 years.....I think they need better management to get things in order.
The waitress was okay. I forgot her name. A guy named Ryan took over and he was pretty good. The sliders are good. The barbecue ribs that are glazed with root beer I could do without. They werent as flavorful as PF Chang and the ends were burnt to the point where I could not eat it. I never touched the coleslaw. And I had some mozzarella sticks that were always good. I didnt drink this time but normally I do and the drinks are decent. I also went for happy hour. You cant lose what happy hour.
Two weeks ago I placed an order for a cheeseburger with extra onions (grilled), no sauces. No where in that order does it imply leave off the other vegetables, yet they did.I was given a gift certificate to replace the order they messed-up.Well, I went to get another burger from the same location today (10-6) and low-and-behold they fumbled my order AGAIN. 😖I ordered a cheeseburger medium well plus with onions (raw and grilled) and all of the other veggies, no sauces. This is what I got (see photo). This was after they forgot the onions.😫The manager, Nathan, was nice but the other two managers and the nosey cashier (or whatever she does there), were just rude. The cashier actually had the gall to try and get loud with me after I confronted her about rolling her eyes at me. Talking about she is just doing her job. I dont believe her job description includes eavesdropping on a conversation that had nothing to do with her useless self and then being upset with me because Im speaking to management.**Girl, go give somebody the wrong change or mess up another order, but get out of my business.**They ruined my dinner and I wont be eating there again until I think theres been a turn-over of staff.
This restaurant is consistently packed, where parties of 4 or more almost usually wait close to an hour. Even wanting to wait for a reservation at the bar is difficult, for people end up just eating at the bar to avoid waiting any longer. The food and service itself is great, but certain beers can be tapped out quickly.
I got dragged here as part of a work function organized by someone with no taste in food. I actually expected Id hate it - loud, boring chain right in the heart of a giant strip mall? No thanks. I was... semi-surprised.It was indeed deafeningly loud when we were there - so loud you could barely hear the person next to you, let alone anyone on the other side of our 10 person table. And the service was indeed craptaculous - orders confused or forgotten until asked about, brought out at widely differing times, difficulty getting extra place settings, all the things you would expect of a place like this. All that aside, Ill say this: the food was actually crazy good. I was not expecting that, but there you have it. I was expecting one step up in food quality from Dennys - it was several. I definitely wouldnt go out of my way to come back here, but I wouldnt complain about it to the same extent I did this time, either. Their steak was an excellent cut of steak and cooked perfectly; their mango salad was pretty tasty (even if it could have used a lot more mango in it), and their tomato bisque soup was actually one of the best Ive tasted. A little overpriced for the fact that its nothing particularly *interesting*, but it is still surprisingly good food.
Worst experience coming here for take out and a couple times dining in. I went to go pick up a pozookie and actually waited 15 min because thats how long my drive was. I get there and the lady was too busy talking and typing to even acknowledge me or say one second. After telling her once more I was picking up she replied hold up rudely. I work in customer service and value what I do. I get some people have bad days but at what point is it ok to have bad days and be rude to customers ! Probably wont be coming back here anytime soon due to their horrible customer service and wait time!
Loved the nachos, my friends wanted to go here just for the skillet cookies and icecream and they were pretty decent. There was a great atmosphere and we were seated immeditately - customer service was great, and we had a really good time. Will definately be back for more of those cookies!!!
I went in yesterday with my fiancée wait time wasn’t bad but the lady who was checking in people was rude , our server was really nice and helpful the only thing that I dislike is that this is my second time ordering the rib eye steak and I ask for it well done because I’m pregnant both times it’s not well done it’s always medium well and they take long to re heat it and I can’t even enjoy my food because While Im waiting for my steak I’m eating my side orders 😡
Always loved this place but it has changed a lot. The reason for three stars is due to my last visit here for my sisters birthday. The food to a while. Plates that we were still eating from would get taken without asking. My usual jumbalaya order disapointed me this time. I love spicy food. But there was no taste because my mouth was literally on fire the whole time.Imo, great place to go with a friend or two. Not a good place to take a date cause of the noise. But I would still come back here for their pizza. They may need to take a look at how they execute their performance with bigger parties.
Horrible service. Ordered food three times now. First time waited for an additional half hour since when I got there, counter person said order got lost. Second time had delivery and food can after about two hours. This time waited again for an additional half hour, got wrong order, they forgot my drink, but gave me a straw which I definitely didn’t want.... they guy next to me said he was never going to order from them again. I don’t blame him. I will order food elsewhere from now on too
My family and I came for dinner Ina. Saturday night. It was only a 15 minute wait and it started to get crowded. They supposedly called out our name already but their voice are so low we cant hear them. They gave buzzers to other people except for us. Then the hostess said shed give us the next table. NOPE. My mother had to tell the hostess again and forgot all about us. Then the drinks took forever to get refilled and they switched drinks with the other table. Hostesses are rude and the service completely sucks. The food was alright but Im not leaving a tip
They brought out food at different times for 2 people so made it pretty inconvenient to eat. I took the last bite of my burger I got and the waitress immediately went for my dish asking are you done with that. Then stood over my friend while she was still clearly eating going to grab the plate... Pretty rude. We were not there more than 45min and majority of the time was us waiting forever for the food. Probably not gonna goto this BJs again.
The service is marginal at best; the hostess looked like she didnt want to be there, very aloof. We then had to wait at least ten minutes to just to order our drinks; once our waiter showed up, he was friendly, but not much more than that. Then the worst part: I ordered Pizza which was the soggiest, worse tasting pizza Ive ever had. The waiter offered to put it in the oven a bit longer, but i dont believe burning it would have helped.if youre up for some average food, average service and soggy pizza, then this is your place.
I saw the news adds about the bbq and have wanted to try this. Came here yesterday snd it was busy but oveall service from the staff was pretty good not just our waiter. The food was really good also. I had the pork sandwich and was full the whole rest of the day. It was very good. I also had a salad that was good and didnt have too much dressing. My family had the ribs and saod it was good also. I liked the atmosphere and overall if go back again. I am a fan of places that give full size plates/,portions and liked this place.I think the negative reviews might be due to not expecting it to be busy for some odd reason. I felt the service was better than normal spots ive visited so was pleased overall.
I absolutely love this particular BJs Brewery in Torrance adjacent to Del Amo Mall. The vibe here is electric; especially Friday & Saturday nights. Very diverse (Love that). Great place to take family, date, friends etc etc.The menu is huge with such a variety of food choices.I highly recommend BJs Brewery in Torrance...👍
Good place with good food, however I find the place rather small so if you go when there is any amount of crowd there will be a wait time. They cant really control this so I dont really hold it against them. But just be aware that if youre planning on going on a weekend or a date night there will be a wait
I recently placed an online order through the BJs mobile app, but when I went to pick up my order in store, they claimed that they had no record of me placing an order. I then spoke to the manager, and she tried to claim that it was probably a mistake I made when I placed the order and blamed me for the problem. After a few minutes of her trying to convince me that it was my fault, I simply wanted to get my pizza and go home as I was limited on time with a hungry three-week old baby and mama waiting at home for the order. However, she said that I would have to pay a second time if I wanted to place my order. At this point, I had already shown her the receipt from PayPal verifying that I had indeed already paid, but she said that it didnt matter because it was not showing up in their system.
I’m not a huge fan of the food, but I do like some of their beers. There is usually a 30 minute to an hour wait time during the busy hours but the bar area is huge so you can usually find a seat over there. They have lots of TVs overhead tuned to all the different sports channels as well as a large one above the bar. The wait staff is well trained and extremely attentive and the restaurant is always immaculately clean; which is a huge plus.
Love this place. You know what to expect without surprise when you hit up BJs. The food quality is consistent and flavorful, theyve got great cocktails in case you find the wonderful beers too filling, and the service is on point. Some places dont offer lighter choices but BJs has a tasty Enlightened Menu. And the added bonus is theyve got a great decor with large screen TVs with good resolution -unlike BWW, so you can keep up with your favorite sorts team n Network. This ones located on the outer edge of Del Amo mall so parking is free.
Every time I have been to this place I havent had to wait a long time. Although on weeknights its pretty busy and packed. The food is al always great tasting. I do love their own beers that they craft. Jeremiah red is the best. All the bartenders are quick and very attentive. Love me some pazookie.
The wait was bad, even though we scheduled for 1pm.. they wrote down 11am, and got that wrong.. We got here at 1:20pm running late from a graduation... but the manager said they only hold for 10mins.. understandable.. but the fact that we only have 12 people.. and they kept letting party of 5 go before us. We could have already sat down.. its been an hour and were still waiting. Ill change my rating once I taste the food.🙄
My order was messed up but when I received the correct one it was good. We had the chicken lettuce wraps as appitizer. My husband had the BJ Tavern thin crust pizza and I had the cauliflower tacos. Both were very good. Because they messed up on my order they gave us a Pizooni of our choice at no charge. It took a while to get the refill on ice tea and water. Mens restroom needed attention and cleaning. Would give it another try.
Made reservations for 2, asked For A Table Inside was told the wait would be 30-45min ok fine , we waited for the text and came within the 3min, We was Seated OUTSIDE, I asked why we didn’t get an inside seat as asked prior before waiting the lady said the inside was to busy and we had to wait another 45min !!! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
The Chart House is situated right on the beach. I have been there for business dinners, dinner with friends and romantic encounters. The Chart House never fails to impress. Delicious menu and wonderful wine pairings. Would recommend a visit if/when the opportunity arises.
Bad and slow service. Waited over 40 minutes for a 20-25 quoted wait. One of the employees notice that we were waiting an extended length of time check for us and they realized they skipped us but made us wait an additional 10 mins. Once seated the server forget to submit our order. There waited over an hour for a meal and only got a free dessert and the drinks I paid for. Should have waited for Black Angus. Too many choices to receive this type of treatment.
Its been a while since Ive been to BJs that I forgot how bad the pizza was last time. A while ago it was good pizza (gourmet pizza for $30) .... but I dont know what they did to make this pizza suck... hardly any cheese, dough was soft and soggy.... and the toppings lacked enough cheese and had an extremely salty taste to it .... quality of food has gone down. Might as well repurpose itself as a sports bar with only chicken wings ...
This establishment, seems to not pride itself on customer service. Orders taking down wrong, have to engage with Manager for alternative. She was still rude. Waited to be seated host apologizes didnt know we wanted to sit after hanging over the county like to hungry pooh bears. Dirty menus , just not a go to place anymore. Take out only
Simply an amazing little gem tucked away in the richmond. sit outside under the heat lamp, cuddle up in a blanket, sip some wine, and nosh on some delicious food (like the cauliflower soup with creme fraiche and parsley oil, and the roasted eggplant pizza!). remember to take plenty of cash and dont be bothered by a little wait. its worth it.
I ordered a steak MW that had to be re-made 3 times! First time the steak was literally burnt, second time was rare, and finally was made how i wanted the 3rd time. I went with my husband and he had fainted out of nowhere and the managers interaction with him was nothing but RUDE! He was on the floor trying to catch his breath and she kept asking him questions over and over inquiring if he had fallen or slipped, she was more interested in the legal prospective of the situation rather than my husbands well being!
This place has good food & strong drinks. Service is fair. I had the shrimp taco plate & it was very good & the Thai Style fried wontons & they were bomb! Also tried some of my friends Jambalaya & it was really good, I would order it. The chocolate chunk pazookies are great also.
The service here is just awful. We have given them multiple chances and have been let down everytime. The servers pay no attention to anything but their phones as they are all huddled in the corner. We waited over 20 mins for one of them to even acknowledge us and take a drink order. The drinks took another 15 mins and we never got a single refill or saw that server again. Go to lazy dog instead
Another corporation gauging their customers.chicken parm was horrible, chicken overcooked and ridiculously overpriced.no seasoning, wilted old brocolli, potatoes flavorless and the texture of boxed mashed.I would never eat there again.i took it to go,had a few bites and threw it in the trash.
Lunch with my Sweetie and a friend of ours. I had the Crispy Jalapeño Burger, so so. My Sweetie had the California Chicken Club, not very good. The bacon wasnt cooked and the chicken was tough. And, they brought the wrong fries with the club. In-N-Out or Wendys would have been better.
Very disappointing. My husband hasnt missed a Packers game in 30 years and we were out of town looking for a BJS to have brunch and watch the game. The management refused to change the channel to the game on one of a dozen screens. He was indifferent and rude. We will never go back. Lucky for us there was a Lazy Dog just down the way. They immediately put the game on and we had a fantastic brunch. Our new favorite is Lazy Dog! !
Ordered New Chimichurri Chicken, the salted green beans were undercooked, just glazed. Told the waiter, he then brought the green beans on a plate. Again similarly cooked as previous ones. I had to leave them uneaten. The waiter should have had the courtesy to ask how well Id like them cooked.
I didnt like it at all ! The food wasnt good whatsoever , everything came out LATE , so of course it wasnt hot & fresh . Our waiter mustve had some miscommunication with the kitchen because everytime I told him something was wrong or something was forgot he replied they shouldve brought that , they shouldve brought that. & then the Grand Finale... There was an ant crawling in my girls plate , I immediately flagged down a waitress she saw it, killed it & said she would inform the manager . She then came back a few minutes later & in a low tone said the manager will be over shortly the manage came by minutes later casually walking by our table as if she was just checking on things , as if she wasnt informed of an insect crawling on someones plate. So she asked is everything ok , she asked what kind of bug like as if it mattered it noyhing live should be in my food ! Long story short she didnt help us , asked if we wanted another dish , we said no , she didnt offer any other accommodations . Like it was a casual thing .
I came here on a Saturday night by myself because I was Drilling in Long Beach from San Diego at the United States Coast Guard, I love BJs and I had been craving their Jeremiah red and avocado egg rolls, then I saw the menu and ordered a deep dish BJs favorite pizza, the important thing to know is I came by myself and there were so many people waiting in line I went right up to the bar got served my beer within probably four minutes my egg rolls came out about 8 minutes later and then my pizza came out maybe 10 to 15 minutes later if that!!... I was very surprised at how fast all the food came out for me just coming to watch some sports center, decompress on my own.... and get up out of there.... I love BJs!!
Food is usually decent but service is not. Tried to call in for a take out order and they hung up on me twice after I was transferred to take out department. But hey, what do you expect from minimum wage teenagers. Go to lazy dog right down the way, always better there.
Absolutley horrible service and food! My husbands food came first and it was cold then i had to wait for mine another ten minutes because for some reason they forgot to bring it out and it was cold. The plate was hotter than the food. The waitress was NOT apologetic about the cold food. this is not the first time they have either messed up our orders or brought us cold food and the servers were rude. NEVER going back again!!
I love this place so much that me and my friend have an annual friendship anniversary! But I have been let down 2 times in a row. I went last week to have a sandwhich and a pizookie. The sandwhich was okay but it was super greasy and barely had any chicken. The pizookie was bad it tasted like cardboard (cookies n cream pizookie) now it took me one last time to say okay i need to review this. Yesterday I went with my other three friends and we got pizookiew but this time the original chocolate chunk. So i ordered with chocolate icecream and the waitress brings them with all vanilla ice cream. Sp i tell her and she comes back soon enough. When she comes back with the pizookie...I notice something odd about it. It hadnt risen as much as I have seen my friends pizookies. So pretty much it wasnt fully baked. It was still like cookie dough in the inside and super low. I wish I would have taken a picture but I didnt think about it in the moment. Also me and my friend decided to not go back to this bjs again we will try a different location. Thanks bjs from del amo for giving us this service. Because we held this place as a special place but not anymore.
WORST SERVICE EVER !!!!! Was just here waited 30 mins for a table they said it was ready.. when we got there a lady in the front with curly hair took forever getting the menus and walked us to the table which wasn’t even cleaned yet and didn’t even apologize and said with an attitude that we have to go around. How humiliating..
Pizookie is what the kids want. 2 scoops of ice cream (your choice of flavors) served on a warm giant sized cookie (ours was chocolate). I recommend checking the daily specials to see if a pizookie is included. Thursdays is 1/2 rack of bbq ribs with 2 sides and a pizookie. For $5 you can upgrade to a full rack. Lots of draft beers to choose from. Service was good.

2022-05-08We went to BJ’s the last Friday in April I didn’t feel like cooking and we did not want fast food or Mexican. We haven’t been to BJ’s in several years.. The menu has a lot of options.Ask questions about the appetizers and entrees. What you think based on the description may not be exactly what you think. We passed on the potatoes skins due to the peppers mixed in the filing and settled on the garlic knots, mozzarella sticks and had the prime rib French dip and the fish and chips. I ordered the Mojito Flight. (Lavender yum) We did not have time for dessert(we will have to go back for the chocolate chocolate cookie in a skillet with chocolate ice cream. The batter on the fish and chips was too spicy. There was plenty of meat on my French dip. The Dip was flavorful. The knots were garlicky and the tomatosauce was delicious. I would have loved a bigger dish!We will return for dessert

2022-03-22We went on a Sunday at 7p and only waited 20 minutes to be seated. When we say we ordered drinks and appetizer. About 5 minutes later she came back and took our order. Twenty five minutes passed before our waitress returned with our food. Appetizer never came and so we asked about it . Another 20 minutes passed and she came back again and was surprised it never came. At this point we obviously didn’t want it . The manager comes to table and says Oh we might have run out. I stated this would have been good to know an hr ago when we ordered. Another 10 minutes passed and they delivered appetizer to our table. The waitress apologized and removed it from our bill. My feedback is that they need to work on the lines of communication to ensure a more seamless customer experience. I did appreciate the waitress apologizing and did tip her nicely, because other than this she was pretty present.

2022-07-08The food was good. Our waitress was great but after she went on break service was terrible. When we walked in the host and waitress were chatting and completely ignored us. Took awhile to get our drink order.

2022-03-27First of all we had zero wait for the two of us and it looked packed (thanks homegirl in the front), though we did have to wait quite a while for our food! Hannah did explain that they were down two chefs that day. On to the food! The clam chowder (not pictured) was so full of clams and seasoned perfectly. I ordered the brisket bacon burger (hold the onions) and it was thee best burger Ive ever had, no joke!!! It had those crispy little burnt pieces of brisket and the sauce with the bacon...Aahmazing! My hubby ordered the Philly sandwich. In his opinion it was was meh. He said that the knife cut of the meat wasnt to his liking and it wasnt really seasoned. Both came with a generous amount of delicious fries. I also had a side salad that was great and chopped well, which I appreciated. For desert we shared the hot fudge brownie pozookie. It was divine!!!Our servers for the day were Dallas, and when he went on his break the lovely Hannah covered for him. Both were awesome and made sure we were well taken care of. I must say that for an establishment in a mall I was throughly impressed. Next time were in Redondo Beach Im sure well stop by again!

2021-12-27The most upsetting and distasteful experience I ever had at BJs.The wait to get seated was about an hour. That wasnt the problem, since the food is usually decent its bitter sweet to wait and have good food and experience. Well that wasnt the case tonight. We ordered bone in wings and the waitress brought boneless wings, they were cold to the touch. The pizza was warm but not hot. The cheese had already turned hard. Topings were not placed properly on pizza , on some areas there wasnt even any cheese, just Flippin bread. The pizza was hard to cut and the slices were ripping. As you can see on picture. The waitress on the other hand Wasnt particularly rude but wasnt doing her job. She only came by the table in the beginning to take the order, once the food came she never came to ask if we needed anything else or to see if everything was OK, and she came by towards the end and asked us If we need any more to drink ( and brought the check). I think she probably knew the situation. I work hard for my money. Makes me mad that I spent it here. And no I didnt mention anything to the waitress or any other employee. I just wanted to leave and not waste any more time on poor service and food.I believe that chain restaurants Particularly BJS in this a case has poor management. And take advantage of its name versus the quality of the restaurant. Laziness and lack of pride will be its downfall . Cant blame everything on Corona.

2021-12-16The queso dip was delicious and only 3 bucks! I dipped the incredibly good bbq thighs and the bread from the clam chowder in it. Everything was incredible in quality and presentation! The tropical mule had. Lemonade instead of pineapple as they were out and it was perfection!

2021-08-09Super disappointed. Do not do take out here expecting for it to be fast. Walked up to pick up window and there was no staff there, only one other customer waiting in line. I walk inside and ask about my order and Im told I need to pick up at thw window outside. I mention there is no staff there and was assured they will send someone. Now a line has formed outside and still no staff to help. I wait an addition 5-10 minutes. Then pick up my phone and call the restaurant. I ask, again, if someone can assist at the pick up window as there is a line and no staff. Again Im assured someone is coming. Another 5 minutes go by and the person pictured shows up, sits down without addressing anyone and pulls his phone out. Another 5 minutes goes by and someone in a burgundy shirt finally comes to help. Finally got my food and noticed some items missing when I got home. At this point its done. Plenty of other places to get good food and better service.
