This location used to be an IE go to staple. Service was always prompt, food was always spectacular, and the beer was unbeatable for the price. Went here recently and everything had changed, unfortunately. The hostesses seem particularly inept at doing their jobs. The food is still decent but the prices feel outrageous for what you get. The beer tastes different now, almost like it has an artificial tang to it. My clam chowder had a little bit of chili in it for whatever reason (most likely the troughs of chili and chowder sit so close together in the back that the servers spilled one into the other in their haste). All in all not really worth the buck. We paid $127 w/ dessert not including tip for a dinner for 4. With these prices, youd be saving money by going out for AYCE sushi instead.
Lets be real, the reason you come here is for pizza, and its pretty good but the price point is crazy. Best to go on mondays when its half off. The service is hit and miss and happy hour is only at the bar. They have Guinness on tap and their mixed drinks are also good but again, the price point for these is crazy. Over all, its just okay.
Nasty restaurant. I purchased a gift card from cashier Valerie B # 267 who kept a poker face during entire transaction like she did not wanted to help customers, after I paid 120 dollars and asked her to print a gift card balance receipt she told me that they dont do it which is false, so I went outside and called the number to check balance and not to my surprise the card had not even been activated and had zero balance so I went back inside and told Valerie that I called and the card is not active she asked me what are you trying to do well I need to make sure this gift card has 120 dollars balance so I let her hear the recording which is telling us that the card is not active she still did not wanted to accept and became irritated and upon me insisting finally checked on her computer and saw zero balance. My issue is that if I had mailed this gift card to my friend and they had tried to pay with this gift card after dinner how embarrassing it would have been for them and myself to discover the card was not even activated and has zero balance now if she had taken few minutes to do her job for which she receives a paycheck and printed the balance receipt like I requested rather than making a false statement just to shun the customer out all this could have been avoided, manager Shanon was informed of this issue. These days due to staff shortage employees will gladly accept paycheck and demand higher pay but refuse to render service to customers lack of work ethics and no self integrity.
99% of the time BJs is great, today was the other 1%. We got our entrees, and they were well prepared, but they had forgotten both of our salads, and one of our sides. I asked for the missing salads to be packed to go, so we could have them the next day. When we got home we found the dressing had been put on the salads, so tomorrow it will be soggy. The missing side arrived when we were packing up the remainder of our food to leave. We will happily return to BJs, what happened is sadly something to be patiently endured at times now. We didnt get upset with the wait staff, we still tipped well, everyone was trying, but staffing shortages are hard to deal with.
I was disappointed with the salad. I ordered the Santa Fe Chicken Salad. The lettuce was not fresh. There was too much dressing and it made my salad soggy. Our waitress was wonderful but then she needed to go on a break and we were basically abandoned. We did not have excellent service again until she returned but by then we had already waited about 30 minutes. Hopefully when we return the customer service will be better. I definitely wont be ordering a salad from here anymore. I have had the jambalaya in the past and it was very good. I may try another pasta dish the next time around.
My friends and I came here late Friday evening. It was very busy with a 30 minute wait to be seated. We asked for separate tickets since it was a business trip. We were given one ticket but the waitress fixed it. We ordered 2 bacon avacado deluxe burgers which came out without the avacado. The waitress got it for us. The other staff tried to bring us other peoples food. This was referred to me as a great place but my experience was mediocre. Maybe next time will be better.
We arrived at 6:30pm and was told it would be a 30 minute wait for a table. While waiting in the parking lot we saw a table not cleaned it took them 20 minutes to bus and wipe it down. At 7:10pm I received a text message indicating that out table was ready. We then approached the hostess for her to tell us we needed to wait still as the table was not ready yet. Finally we get seated at 7:20pm. We had multiple servers and staff walk by us without even say hello. At 7:40pm we finally were able to order drinks and an appetizer. At 7:55pm the Crispy calamari came out. The Calimari was cold to the touch and was still uncooked. The batter wasnt fried enough so you could taste the dough. We sent it back and they brought out a second plate of Calimari with no change. Then finally brought out our drinks. The second attempt on the Calamari was also under cooked and cold to the touch. My wife ordered the prime rib special with asparagus and white cheddar mashed potatoes and asked for a rare center cut. I ordered the ribeye rare with a loaded baked potato and steamed broccoli. Her prime rib cut was rare on one side and brown on the other as if it sat under a heat lamp to long and then flipped over. The inside of the prime rib once cut open was well done. Her asparagus looked as if it was baby asparagus. We sent her plate back the waitress indicated that the prime rib couldnt get any rarer on the cook. My wife then got the tri tip rare without sauce. When that plate arrived it was smothered in BBQ sauce. The cut of meat was at least cooked to the correct temperature but was covered in sauce when we said no sauce. My ribeye steak was cooked to perfection but had no seasoning on it. My sides were very disappointing. The broccoli was ice cold and border line raw. The loaded baked potato had cheese and a sprinkle of bacon. I asked for two sides of sour cream and butter to beef up my potato. I asked two different servers for salt and pepper that never arrived. They brought out our soup with our meals instead of before as we requested. My wife had the cheddar broccoli soup and I had the new england clam chowder. The broccoli soup had tiny flakes of broccoli so I just cut mine up and added it to her soup. My new england clam chowder came out great the perfect balance of clams to potatoes. The bread bowl was crispy and was the highlight of the meal. I was very upset with the lack of service and the time it took to get a drink. Its sad when the soup and bread were the highlight of our meal. To add to the experience the tent was blowing into our faces the entire time. I did enjoy the beer flight I ordered. If we ever go again it will only be for bread bowl soups and beer.
Had a good dinner at a very kid friendly place. Lots of families were there. Had the Black and Bleu-House burger, very tasty! Got it with fries. Topped it off with a Pizookie! The service was great! The lighting was a little too dark for me and the other handful of patrons who pulled out their phones to use their flashlights to read the menu.
When I come to BJs Brewhouse I have a Pink Cadillac Martinis its refreshing. Then I order the Shrimp Scampi, its so good! The dish has pasta, butter garlic sauce, tomatoes, and shrimp. They also give you a garlic knot with this meal. The servers are usually attentive.
Ordered the weekend spicel prime rib 15oz steak sounds delicious to bad I only get to eat 25% of my steak 15oz should say 3oz steak surrounded with fat. now afterwards I still have to stop again and get something to eat cuz I didnt leave here happy or full off the 15oz steak as advertised
I personally love BJs. They have something for everyone to enjoy. From many craft brews and great cocktails to tasty food. My personal favorite thing is the jumbo spaghetti and meatballs. If you havent, give them a try. You can also order online, with their phone app etc. That way you can take it with you pretty fast. At this location they also brew their own root beer and it is spectacular. If you get Brian as your server, he is great.
Im a member of their beer club and go to this location often. Far and away this last visit (2/28) was our best service-wise. Her name escapes me, but if management is reading, she has curly hair a day is from Georgia originally. She is magnificent, & well be trying to sit in her area moving forward.
Took my wife for what we remembered as a good brewery/ pizza place...1st the service was all over the place and took 10 mins to get water and my wife waited a while for condiments (like almost done eating). 2nd the food was flavorless! I ordered the chicken bacon ranch pizza (was my favorite) it was soggy, the chicken was rubbery, the sauce had not flavor(or salt) all I tasted was tomatoes! No ranch on grilled chicken flavor just tomatoes! I will not return, I do not recommend BJs! The pictures look good but its all smoke and mirrors!
I enjoyed the restaurant although they were not able to serve exactly what I ordered. The steak was cold, the potatoes were bland. The beer was great, the caprese salad was good and so was the clam chowder. The chocolate dessert was on point and the servers, host and others were wonderful. Thank you Elizabeth, Hailey and Brandon for your help and making my experience remarkable and worthy.
The hostess were rude. Didnt want to seat us. Were we wanted. Wanted to put us in a booth to were we would be crammed into a seat. So we finally said we wanted a table and we got it. ?Our waitress was good the food was good but the hosts were just very rude and didnt want to apply to what we were saying
I was considering not going here tonight because of some bad reviews I saw but decided to give it a try anyway. Glad we went to celebrate my wife and Is anniversary. Everything was perfect from calling this afternoon to make our reservations to the very end. The food was great and the service was fast and spot on......thanks to our waitress Adriana......thank you Adriana you were excellent and my granddaughter also appreciated you. Keep up the good work
My Daughter and I visited this location yesterday afternoon for lunch. I regularly eat at bjs because I want quality and choices. At the Arcadia or West Covina locations I can easily go in on a rack of ribs and drinks, potstickers! Delicious. This day I decided to have a fat ribeye. I havent had a good steak in a while and I know BJS has quality, as I mentioned before. I asked for medium well as it should be, nice flame kissed with a tender juicy inside. The young polite clean cut waiter was happy to take my order. I received the most burned up, crispy ruined peice of I dont know what. They asked if I would like another one and I politely declined. Im a little afraid of what I have eaten before my entrée. I paid the 50 dollar tab and left the waiter a tip. Sad days and I really dont know if I should ever go back to BJS again. The young waiter even mentioned that the head chef was in the kitchen. So, maybe no more bjs brewhouse for me. Im sad now.
Great servers during dinner. Positive attitudes, made ordering super easy, attentive to little details, timely food from ordering to being served. Great location overall! Even got a complimentary pizzookie at the end of our meal! Will definitely be coming back in the future.
We did have to wait an hour for a table, but it was Friday night so thats expected. Our server was amazing though because he was able to suggest the perfect cocktail and answer any questions we had. I had three Tropical mule and it was really good! They had a Prime Rib weekend special that includes 2 sides and soup or salad that even includes a Pizookie for dessert all for $30!!
This is the place to go if you have a diverse group with just as diverse a diet.Ive tried many items from their eclectic menu, and enjoyed many many of them.I recommend you try the Jambalaya! However, the deep dish style pizza and their Hopstorm IPA hit the spot all the time.
After taking family pictures at a near by park my family (24 total) were starving. We tried Chili’s, Famous Dave’s and Macaroni Grill and none of them would serve us. We gave BJs a call and they said to come down and it would be an hour wait. Once we got there they let us know it was only going to be 15 minutes. Our server was fantastic and the food came out promptly. We appreciated the fantastic service and they flexibility to accommodate us. Thank you so much!!!
This was supposed to be a medium well steak. I got what tasted like pot roast with a hard shell. Im shocked this would come from bj brewhouse. Definitely going to a diffrent one. Bartender disappeared for about a half hour and the other bartender came to the rescue to help out with refills and drink orders.
I had the lunch fettuccine Alfredo and I substituted grilled shrimp for chicken because I was feelin fancy, lol. It was tasty and a good portion. Love the garlic knots. The broccoli was also tasty...for dessert the mini strawberry shortcake pazookie! Everyone get it!!!! 😋
I got a pizza delivered and it is my review:Cold, so salty and the bread was tick than usual, and even no option for thin bread. The pizza doesn’t have any taste at all.I am so frustrated, because I looked at the reviews before order itNow I’m going to buy other food because I’m hungry lol
Food was good but I felt like I was at one of those crazy fancy restaurants where you get tiny portions for ridiculous prices. My friend & I both had the shrimp scampi & prime rib. We each got 6 shrimp & the prime rib was literally a small corner of meat, half the size of the PALM of my hand!! My Asparagus was just ok but apparently they dont know how to cut off the woody ends. My friend got the garlic green beans which were bland & not cooked all the way. It was only moderately busy but it took a long time to get our food. I will not be back
Omg! This location was so extremely unfriendly, unprofessional, restrooms were flithy I asked one of the greeters if the rest room had any attention, She stated that they hadnt had any toilet seat paper in a month.I asked for a manager and of course she couldnt find a name or card ut this place wasnt practicing social distance nor was the atmosphere being enforced.Said to say it was a great experience and the wait on top of that was35 to 45 minutes for 2 people.
My EX 😂 and I walked in at 11:34 fearing the may tell us they almost closed or that they kitchen was closed as thats what we experienced at TGIF a few mins before. However, the manager was friendly enough to assist us personally and offer us a free small pizooke after sharing our bad experience T the other restaurant. Thumbs up sr!
I ordered food online at 11.36 pm which the system did allow me to place the order for a 11.55 pm pick up. I had to drive 20 mts from my home and reached on time to pick up the order and was told that they didnt receive my order. After checking my email the person who attended me told me that they closed online order at 11.00 pm so the system automatically sends your order for the following day pickup when the restaurant opens at 11.00 a.m. On top of that they add automatic tip on the bill for you to go pick up the food. I asked the person to cancel my order and walked off and I hope it gets cancelled and my money refunded. Never going to this place for sure.
On May 8, 2021 I called and ordered a half rack bbq beef ribs.Picked up my order and after returning home I placed my food in my fridge , I quickly looked in the bag not checking properly. On Sunday I took my food out to heat it up and found that they had given me pork ribs instead. It was partly my fault and the restaurants, I guarantee you it wont happen again.
Yeah 2 stars and Im being nice server spent talking more to a single customer about life than actually serving. Second my wife ordered the Philly sandwich Wich we where told was amazing year no. Again back to service verry little customers to be waiting quite a bit to get our food or our drinks. My daughter who dont really like to eat at restaurant was actually trying to eat the chicken nuggets and fries, also a no good well just the nuggets rubbery to hard texture. Fries really good fries.
Visited Saturday 4/17/21 for a lunch date. Luckily we beat the lunch rush by a mere few minutes. We were seated with-in 5 minutes and our server was Deanna. She was excellent. We were never had to ask for drink refills, and Deanna anticipated our needs so well. The food come out in a timely fashion, with our salads coming out first. We had the house salad and a wedge, both were fresh and tasty. Our entrees were delicious with a good portion size for the price. For desert we tried the Pazookie Trio, with Chocolate Chunk, Strawberry Shortcake and the Cookies and Cream. Our favorites were the Cookies and Cream and Strawberry Shortcake Pazookies. We will definitely be back to try some other menu items. So far winner, BJs dinner.
Usually the pizzas are phenomenal. I enjoyed a few pizza pies from here but my favorite the buffalo chicken, was way over cooked. Looked like they left it in for an extra 5 minutes, half of it was dark looking cheese burned. The dough was dry, it sucks because I talked how delicious these pizza was to my colleges and it came out like that. Maybe the oven was set at a different temp. Usually the pizzas are so delicious if you like deep dish. Right off of the 10 freeway in San Bernadino, if you’re around make sure to call in before or curbside even order at the door. Enjoy 😊
I ordered food to be delivered to my parents between 7pm & 7:15pm... several hours in advance. It is now 8:10pm. The food has not arrived. My husband and I both called BJs several times. We could not get information in regards or anyone on the line.I understand that its a busy day - but communication is key. I do not feel comfortable ordering from this restaurant again.
I am a big fan of this place. Every time I go I really enjoy myself and the beer dinners are absolutely amazing. They had 2 employees hosting the event. They would explain the beer, give some of the history then ask a few trivia questions. They were very prepared and the food was absolutely amazing! I always feel like its a special treat to get to go to a BJs beer dinner. Keep up the great work.If you havent gone to one yet, you should really check it out. Even if you are just new to beer its a great way to sample a few different breweries and beer styles to see what you like! So good
I ordered online at 2:30 for a 4:30 pickup, I waited almost 30 minutes with no one coming out to the cars before I decided to call. The girl informed me that take out orders were taking 30-45 minutes, and when I informed her that I had placed my order hours ago she said she would check. My food was brought out within 2 minutes. The ice cream was melted, the ice in my drink was melted, and the food was cold. I went to the restaurant and asked for a refund and the girls in the front were extremely rude and asked for my card number for a refund then took the food out of my hands and notified me it would be thrown away. There was no attempt to correct the problem or address the issue. Just bad service all around.
We had my brother’s birthday party there. The service was good and our waitress Lauren was helpful separating all the orders. We reserved 2 tables but we quickly ran out of room. They cleaned a table by us, scooted it to our tables without any problem. My son ordered the bison burger, which turned out to be really good. Great food, great atmosphere, great service. Shout out to Lauren our magnificent waitress...
I had the vegetarian quinoa bowl and it was so good. The cauliflower was seasoned with something a little spicy. It has the perfect kick and all the flavors mixed well. I gave it 4 stars because we were forgotten and had to check ourselves out up front. And then the girl in the front seemed bothered by it as if it was our fault the waitress didn’t come back.
This place is always great! Lots of food choices and I’ve always enjoyed what I ordered. The service has always been good, and they make sure your drinks get refilled. I’ve come here with co workers and also customers. I definitely recommend. It seems that all BJ’s are good, including the one in Rancho near Victoria Gardens. I typically get the lunch special with the chicken club sandwich and fries. Chicken is always moist.
Great service! Our waitress was fantastic!! I had the sirloin steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The steak was cooked exactly how I wanted it. It was so tasty, I didnt use A1, and thats usually the only reason I order steak. My sister had the turkey dip and loved it too.Well done, BJs, youre awesome!
For starters, they have a “dining room now open sign” up but the actual indoor dining room is closed. So, we sat outside and the amount of heaters in extremely insufficient for the size of their dining area. We are in the cold, I understand that’s the risk you take but this is the FIRSt place I have eaten at outside where I was shivering trying to eat. Second, the glass my drink came in was chipped on the edge, sharp enough to cut my lip. If I hadn’t noticed that, I probably would have. The third and final thing was that my food came out of a clearly dirty plate and the waitress did nothing besides offer to switch the plates out. Wouldn’t recommend coming here again. I’ll stick to the restaurants in Temecula.
Purchased the Pasta Feast and I can say overwhelmingly pleased. I did the take out option during the pandemic and beyond exceeded my expectations. We are a family of 6 with 4 teenagers and was the perfect amount of food. Quality and quantity for sure. Was right on time, utensils, serving spoons everything included.
We ate at BJs twice, once at lunch and once at dinner. The lunch experience was excellent; our server took good care of us, and the food arrived promptly and was very good. The dinner experience was not as good. The waitstaff appeared to be assigned functions rather than tables, as we had at least 4 servers stopping by our table. This meant for a lot of dropped balls - for example, we asked for water 4 times before someone brought it. No one seemed to have responsibility for our dining experience, so as a result, it was substandard. Food was still good, but we left feeling frustrated by the experience.
Nice atmosphere open floor plan. Sweeping down 3 levels from bar and tables to tables and booths then the last group and party seating. Good food off a solid menu. We had several items deep dish pizza, spaghetti and meatballs, chicken, ribs and steaks. Plus appetizers prior to that. Some calamari, avocado wraps, mozzarella sticks and boneless hot wings. Everything we ordered was tasty. I know because I tasted everything on the table. However they only have 12oz pours on Draft no other sizes. Beer was good though. First time overall Id say it was better than decent would definitely recommend and go back.
Came in here to celebrate my nephews graduation from high school. It was a big party. We had only one server. Which by the way she rocked it. She handled her business. Gave us all separate checks and didnt mess anything up. She was great. The food tasted great. The only thing I didnt like about my food that it did not look nothing like what I ordered. Dont get me wrong it tasted real good thats why I didnt say anything but I didnt see any veggies on my plate like the picture showed. It did take a little while for the food to come out, but it was a lot of us. I get it though. It was kind of busy also.
Horrible MANAGER Lindsey, HORRIBLE STAFF!! I ordered online. Received a confirmation email that order should be ready by the time stated.. Got a credit card alert that they charged me. Husband goes to pick up and was told by 3 staff they had no order. He left, got home, called and spoke with manager Lindsey, who then realized THEY had a system error and also one of my plate selections was out of stock. You would think the staff would have figured out what happened while my husband was there at the restaurant, rather than 30 mins later when he drove home..all Lindsay asked was “what would you like your calamari to be replaced with?” No apology no offer to comp the order.. I said I just want my money back and cancel my order.. All Staff is so unprofessional, and I will tell all my friends and family never to go to this San Bernardino location!
Dark area where we were seated, and service was VERY slow. The waiter must have been a new person. He was friendly. When we got our food, we had not utensils to eat. We had to wait about 5 minutes for a waitress to pass by our table to ask for utensils. I thought wed have to eat like dogs. Lol! The food was great, and just the right temperature.
Great food and service. Sometimes you have to wait a while for a table but it’s woth it. Food is great and so are the drinks. Service can get slow, when it’s crowded, but all and all great food. Would like to see more deserts but then again they are famous for their pazookie. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and ate here 3 nights in a row. The food was quite good and prepared exactly as requested. They have lots of beers to choose from, all very good.
Food was great no complaints in that department for sure.Location was clean to what you should expect from a place of this nature. The staff was friendly but a bit slow.they were busy however.I would expect them to move a bit faster and less talking to each other.anyways next time travelling through we would stop here again for sure.
I told the server that I was one of those vegans. She recommended the veggie burger, of course. It was good, as good as it could be without cheese, mayonnaise, guacamole, or onion. But that is not their fault, that is what I ordered. However, the accompanying French fries were awesome!I would go back just for more of those. The Pazookie for dessert was great. The ambiance was good. The parking was plentiful. The staff was nice.
Great food and great atmosphere but very subpar service. Eaten here a few times and each time have been dissatisfied with the service. No water refills, took a long time to drop the check, felt rushed when taking order, Felt like we got forgotten about etc. I don’t think this is all the servers’ fault. From observing the restaurant flow it seems they have too many tables to be able to give quality customer service. The inadequate service really knocks the whole experience down a few notches from the excellent food. If a manager or supervisor is reading this… Hire some more servers, give them less tables to take care of and train them better.
Service was great! The world series was on and the wait was normal and the hostess was nice. Our server was very hospitable and friendly. I didnt feel rushed and the food was delicious. Everything was fresh and resonably priced for the flavor. For two adults and a child it was around 20 dollars.
Pretty good! Havent been there in about 10 years, and I must say, Im pretty happy with what I got. Servers were nice, and even got a cool gift for fathers day! Asking for a table and not a booth wasnt an issue and no snottiness given when asked. Thats always a plus for me :)
Stopped in for a bite to eat before we headed home to Vegas. I didnt have to wait to be seated at all. The girls in the front were so nice and all looked very happy to be there. Our waiter was very nice... food so good I had a sangria it was so delicious very refreshing and I had the Thai noodles omg it was so good!! They had great drink specials wish I was there a bit longer to enjoy!
I ordered online, about 9 hours before I scheduled to pick it up.The order was a large Signature Deep Dish Sweet Pig Pizza to go...um where is the deep dish? This was no deeper than at any other pizza place, but was about 3 times the price!+++ My family enjoys BJs food - good flavors & variety HOWEVER not sure how you can claim Deep dish when there really was just no deep.My son compared it to Boboli pizza crust!Sorry BJs, usually love your food but family was very disappointed no Deep Dish Pizza.
A busy friday night and I was picking up an order to deliver. All the staff I spoke to seemed to be a little nasty towards me. The order was a 6 pack of Root Beer, and 2 Ice Cream items. I spoke to the waitress outside serving cars, and working the front door. Spoke to 2 staff members inside the side door. 20 mins later I asked at the front door if they had a Doordash order. It had been sitting there all the time. The server said she didnt know where I went. I had been standing right next to her outside of the window where she could see me. These employees made it quite clear they dont like delivery orders.I might have to eat there and see whats so great about their food. Wait, what am I thinking. I saw how busy they are. Doesnt appear to be a good place for a relaxing meal. Waitresses running all over the place and other customers watching you eat while they wait.
Enjoyed almost everything during my visit here. I am a gluten free- vegan and they had a lot of options for me to choose from. My only complaint was that the soup we ordered got cold while waiting for new silverware because our spoons had dried food on them. Food tasted great and they have a gluten free pazookie!
Thought their pizza would rival Round table, it doesnt. I ordered a pepperoni extreme and a BJs classic combo with a side of wings. Too much bread in their regular (non deep dish) pizzas. No taste, it was OK, just not good enough for the price you are paying, mediocre. Wings were pretty good though.
Staff is always personal and friendly. Theyre always so happy, enjoying their job. This visit tried the double bone-in pork chops, their famous mashed potatoes and rice pilaf. Their double bone-in pork chops are about 2 inches thick. Seared to a nice little crust and color with an abundance of flavor. Cooked perfectly, extremely tender and juicy. Mashed potatoes are a treat every visit. Rice pilaf cooked just right and lots of flavor. This dish, highly recommended.
The wait for our server to come and ask us if we needed anything was so long. We waited at least 20 minutes for them to come check on us and we needed to order other things. Then when we were leaving the took another 15 minutes to bring us to go boxes. We asked for to go cups but were tired of waiting so we just left without them. Food was delicious though.
BJS was great. We sat in the bar and enjoyed 3 dollar appetizers and dollar off beers. The happy hour special is Monday through Friday 3pm to 7pm. You u have to sit in the bar to take advantage of this offer, but it was super worth it. I would definitely recommend it.
Delivery & curbside/app review: I have been very disappointed in BJs. Delivery: after putting my order in for delivery, I was called around the time my food was to be delivered and was told that they and no one to delivery the food. You would think that the manager would be prepared to address this with their customers when they called. They could have offered another delivery group like grub to go to deliver the food or give some offer. I had to have a lengthy discussion with the manager in order for it to be fixed and my food was delivered the next day. The app was problematic as money order was for Curbside To Go, they thought my order was for delivery. I was 2 minutes from the restaurant to pick up my food, when they called and said that my order could not be placed because it was under the minimum amount they would take for delivery. I told them that it was Curbside To Go. They told me that would be no problem, and my food would be ready. However, 13 minutes after notifying them that I was there. Someone finally came out so that I could pay for the food. They did not bring out my food. Finally, I had to go in to the restaurant to ask them what happened to my food. They explain that they may have given one of my dishes to someone else. They never even thought to come out to the car and let me know, even though I had a baby in the car. 20 minutes later I had my food. The manager apologized and gave me my money back. This was still problematic, considering not only did I have to get out of the car and pick up my food, but I had to deal with a hungry baby.
Ive been coming here since this particular location first opened. Its sad to say that the service and food quality has steadily declined since their opening. The pizzas dont taste as good and the service has gotten to be quite poor. Typically the staff are just bringing you your meal, initial drink, and expect a big tip. Its almost like theyre rushing you out the door so they can get their tip and move onto the next. I will unfortunately not be coming back.
I honestly cannot get enough of this place! This is my favorite restaurant and basically everything I have ever tried has been Great! I especially love their Santa fe salad and their calamari. Their deep dish pizzas are to die for and so are their fish and chips. Some other great items are their tortilla soup, pulled pork sandwich and homestyle chicken meal. Honestly , you cant go wrong with anything on the menu!
My husband and I used to go to BJs a lot, but we will NOT return after today. We placed an order for a family bundle dinner online for my hubbys birthday. We requested the order to be ready for pick up at 6:45pm as you can see in the screenshot attached. Then when my husband arrived to pick up his birthday dinner, he was told that they never received the order. They asked to see the confirmation email but we never received one from BJ. Since I ordered the dinner via my husbands Bj reward account, I was able to retrieve it from order history and it clearly showed what we ordered and the pickup time. When we asked the server if we could give them the confirmation number and they said they would only take the email. My credit card already had a pending charge of $64.75. Not only we did not receive any foods, but they also ruined my husbands birthday experience. There was also NO apology from the restaurant staff!! Its unacceptable!!
The food is always good here. The service is good. Today we had great service. The people were very nice. My biggest issue with this restaurant is the seating always seems cramped. The table just seems to small for the plates And glasses , just there isnt enough room.
Good food, nice atmosphere. Its like a lot of other sports bars, but they do have a great selection of beers on tap. They have good steak and burgers, although you can never go wrong with their pizzas. Theyre pretty good for deep dish. The service is pretty consistently nice as well.
Great meal, great service from the waitress but then the person handling the billing screwed up. My Dad who has a hard time hearing was given a check to sign for 19.99 he added the tip and signed. The waitress then comes back and apologized for the mix up. She then gives us another check and says the other one will be destroyed and has us sign for a check for 35.10. My poor Dad was so confused. I am hoping his card does not get charged twice. Everything was great until that moment Dad did not need that confusion today. He has health issues and we have been at the VA all day.
1 star for good service. Having been a few years since Ive been to a BJs, was looking forward to a return. It disappointed. Pizza was cold, spinach dip was poor quality, avocado egg rolls were poor quality. It had all the trade marks of a restaurant that is focusing on cost savings and not quality. Not going back.
This BJs always goes above and beyond for us. We dine in and its our favorite place to order take out from. The food is always perfect, and the employees are always very sweet. In any event that the order has been scrambled or something, they always find a way to make it right. Thank you for always being awesome.
Everytime Ive come here, the food hasnt disappointed. Whenever I get a suggestion from the server, Im never dissapointed. The specialty drinks they have here are also spectacular. Lots of open space and it feels homey. Wonderful place. Thank you Nico, for giving me a nice experience.
The food here is standard/generic. My biggest gripe was the service which was terrible. It was a busy day, granted but it took forever for our food to come. Our waiter zoomed past us a number of times but never looked in our direction or asked if we needed anything. Two parties who arrived after us, were waited on and received their food before we did. A runner finally brought our food and left without can I get you anything else? We had to get up to get ketchup from the waiters station. We would have liked a refill on drinks, but that didnt happen. We hailed the waiter with an excuse me! on one of his ninja swift passes and expressed our concern. He immediately said he would get the manager (which was weird but maybe they get a lot of complaints?) The manager was totally unhelpful and offered to give us free desert. Free desert: $10. Good service/customer service: priceless. We said no thanks. Based on service alone, I would not recommend this restaurant.
I cannot say that I love their food, they have a lot of options but they either do not look good or taste good. Service was not great today. We ordered the Mediterranean tacos and one of them were burnt. I told the server as he came by finding me peeling the burnt pieces of bread and his response was Ill be walking around if you need anything... not cool
The service is great. I dont like the policy that most restaurants have gone to where your server takes your order and someone else brings it. If you want something else like extra dressing or whatever, it usually gets left out. The food is great and Ive never been told no, when it comes to substitutions.
The food here is always delicious, however the service sucks. Had to ask waiter MULTIPLE TIMES for water and dipping sauce. By the time our sauce came, we had finished our plates. Watched waiter parade up and down the aisle making useless trips without bringing anything. Other tables were getting mixed up with ours... they tried to bring us a salad while we were eating entrees that was for the table behind us. And, our checks got mixed up which APPARENTLY caused a delay on dessert. We ordered dessert and waited 15 minutes before calling it quits and asking for check. They gave the check to manager, which also took 15 minutes to give us only 20% discount, which we ended up giving to waiter as tip anyway. All in all, either STAFF UP OR PERFORMANCE MANAGE. WHEN EVERY TABLE IS SUFFERING FROM ONE WAITER, IT DOESNT TAKE A GENIUS TO SEND HELP. Go to a better restaurant.
Amy and Richard are the best Bartenders! I come here about once a week and I am always greeted with a smile and a hello. They already know my preference for a cold beverage and have it ready moments after my arrival. Great appetizers and atmosphere. Also like to add that Amanda Amber and Justin are also great!!
Went for our nephews birthday on a Friday night & oh boy, waiting time was over 2 hours, the drinks *mix drinks that is* were horrible, never ordering drinks there again, finally got seated (after 2hrs & dealing with a huge crowd standing around). Food was ok, I didnt really care for the items on menu, I felt like it was kinda limited. I didnt really enjoy my experience at BJS, not going back.
Horrible service. My party sat at our table waiting to have anyone come check on us maybe see if we wanted water or a drink or possibly order... Nothing I had to go to the front desk to place my order. I understand they were busy which is why I counted how many times each table around us had a waiter come check on them and after the fourth time. That is when I realized we were being flat out ignored this was my worst experience coming to this restaurant and it will probably be my last time ever going to a BJs chain
Never was too big a fan of BJs, I much prefer going to Yard House for any event. The main reason why I usually go here is because of its proximity to where I live.Ive had experiences here where the staff have forgotten about the table and dont return for a while. There was also an awkward experience with one of the waiters when it came to one of my coworkers birthdays.Food in my option is OK. One of the items I would repeatedly order from here would probably be the pizza. They have a decent selection of wine, beer and liquors, but Yard House has an even larger selection. In my opinion, service is the number one metric to judge a restaurant on its quality and thats a key area where I believe this BJs location fails. They have some waiters and waitresses that can be downright rude and seem not to care about their customers at all. At times they are just plain inattentive. My very first experience here was met with disappointment when it took over an hour to get my meal remade because they had undercooked my item to my liking. My most recent experience at this location was not any better than any other occasion. The staff at the front frowned when I told them the number of diners in our party - about 11. I understand they take reservations, however we were unsure of the number of guests that we were going to have for the night. Regardless, the staff should not frown at the sight of a large party.Management needs to address the issues with the staff members of this location.
Large portions, generally good food. Nice place for small groups. Not an intimate spot for a date-dinner but it doesnt pretend to be either. Cant go wrong here for a casual meal. Large menu will accommodate any craving. TVs in the bar area make this a great spot to watch your favorite sporting event. Not a sports bar, but comfortable table seating and ample TVs.
Jade, the server, saved this visit from being unpleasant. Ive only been to a BJs in my home town once for lunch. My impression of it was--bar food and beer. The food and the service was good, just not noteworthy over other types of restaurants like it. Last evening we had dinner at BJs Restaurant and Brewhouse because it was right next door to our hotel. We arrived at around 5 PM and there was a slight wait. We ordered a drink at the bar and were seated at our table shortly thereafter. After we were seated, we ended up waiting in inordinately long time for anyone to greet us.
I have been to BJS about a hundred times both as a couple and with family. It has a great ambiance -- if you like sports. Otherwise it is loud. The food is almost exclusively comfort food. The so-called light options are not very light. One meal was called light but accounted for 16/23 daily points on Weight watchers. So if you like noise and excess calories its the place for you. They are also slow; book a couple of hours.
Great drinks! Sangeria is awesome. Food leaves a lot to be desired, our waitress was sweet but the other girl who brought out the food was not the nicest and questioned me when I told her my tacos were supposed to have sause!? It was warmish and not the freshest tasting, to many choices on the menu. I wouldnt come back for food but maybe for a drink or two at the bar. If youre looking for a date night idea...I say Pass to the next option.
My daughters both received an award from school, and it gave them a free meal here. After my girls gave the waiter their gift certificates, he came back to the table and presented them with a very nice pin to display their achievement. On top of making both of my girls feel special, my dinner selection was delicious! All of the servers who assisted us were extremely nice and efficient. When we arrived, the place looked packed and I was dreading having to wait, but to our surprise we were seated within 15mins. While we waited outside, a server came out and offered everyone an appetizer sample. My only complaint is that the bread on my husbands blt sandwich was so hard&toasted, it tore his mouth up..lol..other than that we had a lovely evening!
I wont give a negative review based on a one time interaction thus, this is the third visit in 6 months to this BJs location and one thing is consistent...ineptly slow service. Dont come here if you are in a hurry. As long as you prepare yourself for that, it is a pleasant experience.
I typically like BJs but this visit was horrible. I was placing a curbside order and it took over 20 minutes for someone to answer. By time they answered we were already there. We wasted time in some local shops to wait for our order. When we pulled up to the designated parking and called the number, nobody answered. We called multiple times, nothing. I ended up going inside and my order wasnt ready. I had to wait even longer. The service was horrible. Very disappointed and not what I have come to expect from BJs.
For starters there was a hair in the mozzarella stocks. 5 of 12 meals served were cold Also no salad was served with one of the meals even after complaining to manager. One order was boneless wing they showed up with bones. Also we had to ask to have dishes removed from table. Had to flag down help to get refills on drinks. I was told that BJs was a great place to eat by my family. My mother is so embarrassed that she did not enjoy her 79 birthday. My recommendation is to find another restaurant for your special occasion.
BJs San Bernardino, please do a better job of respecting your Curbside Orders. I checked in, after having received the text message that my order was packed and waiting for me to pick up. I checked in, and still waited, with no response. I even called 3 times, to speak to someone, only to be disconnected each time, after the phone rang and rang. By the time I got home, a 10 minute drive, my food was cold, and my ice cream was melted! I frequently visit BJs San Bernardino, but service like this, makes me reconsider my options.
WOW ! The food. The service. The attention to detail !!! I had , hands down , the best double pork chop & wedge salad I have ever had. Today ! Lol....no truly , awesome and satisfying. Please try the Chimichurri sauce with it !!The team staff members: the 2 Amys, Amanda and Victor went above and beyond their duties as Restaurant staff to accommodate all my requests! Youre going to love this spot and wish that you lived nearby!
Avocado rolls are amazing, mango jalapeño mule was on point and the rolls for the little one was appreciated (he ate them in minutes). It also prevented him from getting frustrated while waiting for his food (even though it came out really quick). Only downside was having to constantly ask for straws and no condiments at the table.
Friday January 24th at around 9pm. I ordered the prime rib, medium rare, and it came back way over cooked. Told the server and she happily told me no problem, I will get you another one. She came back a few moments later with the same prime rib I sent back and told me the manager said there is nothing he can do about it because they pre cooked all the prime and the next one will come out the same way... WTF! Needless to say he didnt even come to talk to us himself, he made the server handle the problem. The meal was removed from the bill but thats not the point... evening completely ruined. Horacio, or something like that is the managers name. Time for him to be replaced.
Best porkchop Ive ever eaten in my life! Seriously. Our server was pretty good too. And, they were really busy tonight. I dont drink alcohol so I asked for a cherry coke. They dont carry cherry cola of any kind, so he offered me a Roy Rogers which was pretty tasty too. The bill was reasonable (probably because I dont drink) and I had an overall good experience. Ill be back for another one of those chops! Seriously, that thing was as big as my fist and perfectly juicy. I love me some swine, oink, oink! 🐷🇺🇸
When you sit at the bar the service is good as well as the cocktails. When I was at a table a couple weeks before our waitress didnt check on us. My boyfriends salmon was overcooked and when his drink was accidentally knocked over our waitress blamed us and didnt offer another drink
The Restaurant is very well kept up. The decore inside is rustic modern and clean. This is also a place for families with children so no worries there. There are an array of foods available other than Just Pizza. Deliciousness - from the pizzas to the poozokie. Lastly and most inportantly is the excellent customer service we have received evertime we come here. Come on down, you wont leave dissapointed. Cheers!! GOD Bless!!
It seems all big restaurant chains taste the same. The only exception for BJs is their beer, its still pretty good and the pizzas are alright but everything on the menu is bleh. I first ate here in 2008 and have back numerous times since. The last two or three times it has become clear service is going down hill; from the front desk staff to their servers it seems they all just want to get out of there. It isnt the entire staff, there are definitely a select few Ive seen and experienced that care about their level of service and customers experience. But on the whole, I would not go here anymore unless coerced. Truthfully, head to downtown Redlands and go to The State. Best cocktails in the Inland Empire, a stellar tap list and food that will keep you coming back. Plus, the bartenders and servers are what make The State a hopping joint. Cant say the same for this BJs location.

2022-01-15This restaurant has very good food and portions. Loved the quinoa bowl with salmon. Lavender lemonade not so much. The ambience was relaxed and the waiters are very nice. A bit more expensive than I thought. Ideal for special occasions.

2021-12-01BJ’s Brewhouse is my favorite chain restaurant destination for great dining. They offer a large menu selection from hors d’oeuvres to main courses. The restaurant is laid out to be a lively fun place to visit. It’s the right place together with friends to celebrate occasions or just share a great meal. The beers on tap are a main draw. The menu selections are well thought out to be flavorful and interesting. They have locations throughout Southern California where I live. If you’ve never tried BJ’s make time to discover the fun and sample the cuisine. I’m sure it will become one of your favorites too.

2022-06-17Dont waste your time, energy or money. We ordered online and went to pick it up. We also checked in when we pulled in, and nobody came out to help us. We called the number on the sign and was left on hold after telling the person we were there for pickup. The person bringing us our food pushed our order through our window and walked away without saying anything - and I was still on hold. Please BJs pay these people more so they arent stressed out!! I contacted the restaurant for a refund and its been weeks with zero contact. Look how awful our food looks for the prices they charge. The flatbread was shook up in the box, cold, and the cheese sticks were also cold and hard as a rock. You know when you crave an item and it ends up tasting gross? This is that meal. Fish and chips were cold, soggy and greasy. The location in Moreno Valley is much better. Drive through reche canyon, and eat better at the BJs over there in Moval.Edit: Original order placed on May 27, and my review posted June 16. I emailed that address (same address I was given to contact weeks ago) lets go on a journey people 🥴

2022-05-22Oh my golly gosh. This has to be the worst dining experience, I’ve ever had. I had the shrimp Alfredo and how the hell do you miss the Alfredo. The noodles had no flavor and the shrimp is burnt. I genuinely put up with some bad dishes but this takes the cake. I’m never eating here again. The customer service was fine but the food is not worth while.

2022-02-27Since the start of the pandemic, weve been making it a somewhat regaulr practice of getting BJs to go. Their service has been great, and the food consistently good. We especially like the take-out only, slow roasted tri-tip they offer on Thursdays with 2 sides and a pizookie. All for 14.99. Great deal, and good food.If they have it available, Id recommend their ahi tuna Poke tacos and a glass of their BJs Red Buffalo. Very tasty....

2021-08-05I sat at the bar. Great service. Cold beer. Good salsa. Yummy chowder. Tri tip and veggies w were great. The ribs however were dry and heavily covered in sauce; not my liking. Very cool place though. :)

2021-10-10Waiter was nice but absentee. Out of water and my meal needed more sauce. The kids pizza looked as if someone removed 2 pepperoni and had very little cheese. The chocolate chip cookie was undercooked and very doughy

2022-06-17Eat here when I am in town for work. Excellent beer selections and they food is tasty.
