Eli was excellent! My car was looked at by a Northern CA Big O ~1 month ago and while resolved in the short-term, the problem persisted because it was deeper. Eli took my car on short notice and I got a call quickly. It was not a problem that he could fix but he made recommendations and didnt charge me anything. His guidance saved me a lot of money when I took my car to the dealership. I could not recommend that type of customer service any higher than five stars but all I can say is thanks and great treatment. Highly recommended.
I did not have an appointment but they put on a new tire in 45 minutes. Further they were honest about not needing a new rim or hub cap which to me appeared to be damaged. I was so pleased with their can-do attitude and quick service.
Juan is an excellent manager. He’s professional, courteous and thorough. The redcap shuttle service is such a fantastic touch too. If I take anything away from this service star wise; I thought it was a bit odd that I was still waiting for my car till just about closing time after dropping it at 7am. Not a big deal though. Good tire service. Highly recommend

I got a screw in my tire while I was moving. This was a Saturday and they where busy. They kept my car overnight and it wasn’t ready until late afternoon Sunday. I found out the tire couldn’t be saved despite not been anywhere need the sidewall as I had driven on it flat. The staff are polite, honest and friendly I would go again. (-1 Star for the less than speedy service)

These guys are awesome.Started taking my car because this place was walking distance from my shop.Then the wifes van and both of my kids cars. All excellent experience, so much though that I started using them for my 159 vehicle fleet service management. Armando and his team helped me get some new tires put on the front of my wifes car for our road trip the next day, after rotating tires and an oil change. I thought it would take 4 hours because the tires were being brought in from elsewhere and he could give me no guarantees, but it didnt. I was out in less than two hours because his team and he timed it right.Not only that, but with this store in Aliso Viejo, all of the managers have been upfront, respectful and helpful and fair about pricing. Thats not true for all my Big O Tire experiences, but it is true about this store.They alert me to problems with the cars I bring in without pressuring me to upgrade services. I had gotten a flat tire at work and I had to get a new tire, it was a saturday which is a super busy day. They got me in and out in an hour, they were able to squeeze me in so I could get to work on time. They also checked to see if the tire was fixable before putting on a new tire. Everyone was super friendly, and made me feel like they really cared.I will come back for all of my auto needs.
The staff at this location are extremely helpful and professional. They changed the oil in my car and made recommendations for replacement tires based upon different price points. I would highly recommend Big O Tires.

While I waited for my regular oil changed to be done, they called me on the phone about a bunch of other things to replace (sounds very familiar right?). They said the steering fluid was dirty and needed new. I checked my log and it showed I just had new steering fluid 5 months before. I declined it. Later I took my car to the shop that did it and had it checked out. It was still very clean. Beware of Big-O-Liars! They also found all 4 wheels way out of alignment. True, my car was steering to the left at the time. But it was the very same big-o-tire shop who did the alignment only 5 months before. Either they never actually did it (but charged full price), or did a very crappy job the first time. Also beware of huge rip-offs! I had my air filters replaced at more than one other shops, for $20. Here, it is $60.Do me a favor big-o-tire, next time please lie only on something that buried deep, not what your customers can easily check out. Dishonest businesses dont deserve even one star.
This was my first time with your company and I was very pleased with everyone I came in contact with. I was especially impressed to see that you have a female mechanic providing services. She is the second one I have come in contact with during my entire life. I will return for other services as I would very much like to support her and will tell all of my friends!
We were visiting the area yesterday and cameOut of the hotel to a flat tire. The staff here was very friendly from the initial phone call until we were ableTo begin our return trip home. They fit us in immediately and charged us exactly what we were quoted. Highly recommend
Juan was super helpful and even went out to measure the tires on my car to see if it even needed to be changed. They replaced all 4 that same day and they were efficient. They kept me updated on the status even though I didnt ask, which is uncommon these days.

Lost a customer for life.Just an update. It’s four months later... and I’ve still not been contacted by the district manager after I replied below. I sincerely think the owner places these responses as a tool to make others reading these review think they are responsive.Buyer beware at this location...——————————————-Contractor working on exterior of house inadvertently left nails in driveway. (Found out the hard way. Nail made it into my back rear tire.) Called Big O. Told to come in immediately. (Theyre slow at the moment.) Then, technician casually looks at tire. Tells me the tire cant be repaired due to wear. Since my contractor is paying for this repair, I am not buying a tire as a quick fix. (And, I partially paid for college by doing tire repair. So, feel a bit qualified to have an opinion on this topic.) Now, get this, same car had a nail in another tire 30 days ago. Same location (different manager) repaired the tire with no issue.So, I stop by another garage on way home. According to them, the tire is quite repairable and problem is instantly resolved.Heres the lesson Big O... I was planning to replace tires on this vehicle and another car in the next 60 days. Prior to this interaction, you had my business. By not solving my $25 problem today, you just lost over $2,000 in future tire sales. Fyi, I wont be back.Management training is in order at this location.Updated 3 weeks after my original post...I provided my email and phone number as the owner suggested in the follow-up response to my review.After two weeks, Im still waiting for a response. Sounds like all aspects of this business are totally and completely messed up. I sure hope the CEO of Big O reads this...You guys need serious management training... all the way to the top of the organization.
While driving from dtla to Aliso Viejo for work, my car started to misfire on freeway, 2 miles from my exit. As soon as I got to work, I called around to see who would be open later when i was done and fortunately I got in contact with manager Juan Lopez at Big O Tires. I told him what happened and he said hed be there. Fortunately the work place was just down the street so, I drove on over right after work, slow and steady. When I got there, was welcomed with a warm greeting, met Juan and they took her in, even though they were closing in 15 minutes! I started to think of towing back to la or keeping her overnight and getting a hotel. They stayed past closing time to rad the codes from the check engine light, and after taking a closer look that told me that it would need some work but, if I really had to get home (which I did) then I would be able to as long as I took it slow. They were right! I got home slow and steady, safe and sound, rested easy and took her to my mechanic the next day while at work. Juans experience and professionalism lifted a hug weight off my shoulders, but his word was gold. I got home safe on a time crunch with work in a different county the next day and everything worked out. Thank you Juan!
Juan and The team got the hookup for my T100. Special size tires... got em in same day. Special loyalty price for repeat customer. Checked under hood for the usual. Topped it off. Quick too... Showed up, ate lunch. Tires done. Bam under 4 Bills out the door.
I get very nervous going to car shops due to really bad experiences I have had. I have a hard time finding a place that does not quote so much money and take advantage of the fact that i am not educated in cars and tell me things I dont understand just to scare me to buy so much and then my car never gets fixed. Armando is the first person who treated me with respect and kindness. All the anxiety I had slowly went away and I build a trust with him that I havent been able to build with any other mechanics. Every other shop I have been too before was extremely condescending to me, but Armando and the rest of the staff there was patient and ready to answer all my questions and made sure that I understood what I was paying for and saved my life with the Financing options you guys offer. As someone who supports my whole family with this car, I needed someone who respected my financial situation and understand that i needed this car and to fix it with what it needs and not scare me into thinking it needs something else. Armando thank you for helping me feel such at ease and taking care of my car. To some this is dramatic I guess, but to me it really did help me so much because you helped me be able to support my family. Thank you!
READ IF YOU VALUE YOUR VEHICLE!Took my vehicle here to have my alignment checked before a big trip and because my steering wheel was slightly off center. Got my vehicle after they performed the alignment and now my steering wheel was way off center in the other direction. (I had mentioned to them that my steering wheel was of center from the beginning and that I would like it centered again.) I didnt have time to take it back in before my trip, so I went on my trip and brought it back in to them when I got back. They did another alignment. As I was driving away I noticed now the steering wheel was off again but this time to the other side and now my car is pulling to the right. I immediately took it back in. They performed another alignment and said nothing was wrong and that it most be the tires. How could it be the tires when I never had a problem with the car before I took it in to have them do the alignment. I was a automotive technician for a while and know bull*$#&. This place is full of it. I asked them for a refund so I can go get it done at another place. They said they will not refund me and they will have the stores district manager Ken contact me. A week later and still havent heard from them. This is also not the first time Big O hass screwed things up on my vehicles. There has been two other times as well but not as bad. From a different Big O shop. I will never be taking my vehicles to any Big O again.
I went in about an hour before close to get a tire patched. They quoted me, got it done in about a half hour, and when I went to pick up my car they didn’t charge me. They definitely have earned my business.
Scam artists to the fullest. I got 4 tires and Alignment warranty. We went Az and the alignment was off so I took to a Big O and they said they wouldn’t. It honor warranty because they are all independently operated. They got a nail in tire in stockton Az. No Big O would honor it had to buy a different tire from brennons. They yesterday I had a dead battery. I called triple AAA prepared to buy a new battery. They can jumped it and ran a test. Triple AAA said it’s the battery and alternator is showing good. Then they said the interstate battery is less then 2 years old so call where I purchased it and they should replace it. I called Big O and they’ said bring it in. I went in and waiting over an hour. Juan the manager came and said your battery is no good because the alternator is bad. I found this suspicious since my alternator was just tested yesterday and less then a year old. After he refused to put a battery in. I drove to the mechanic who installed the alternator Santa Ana smog repair 25 miles away. Got there they tested alternator was working perfectly. Then drove to interstate battery and they replaced no problem and apologized for their vendor. I will never go to a Big o again. They literally tried stealing from me right before Christmas

These guys attempted to make me replace a tire for $270, saying that the tire could not be repaired and had to be replaced. The same day I went to another shop which had no problems repairing my tire for $30. It was just a small nail. Terrible experience with Big O Tires, dont trust them.
So you plan a Father’s Day weekend trip to La Brea Tar Pits on Saturday morning. But, bam, on Friday night you get a screw in your tire and, hence, flat tire. That’s what happened to me. I went to Big O first thing on Saturday morning to see if they can fix my tire. I met with Juan and after filling out some paperwork, my car was in the shop! Thirty minutes later I was out of the shop with patched up tire. Now we can go on with our plans. Thank you for saving a day, Juan and the Big O Team. You guys are the best!

I have gone to the Aliso Viejo Big O for quite a long time and they have been very helpful about car service and repair. Suspension control arms for my Jeep. Oxygen sensors on my Kia. Tires and brakes on several cars. They have done a consistently good job.
...plus i recommend them to my friends. They, in turn, have been as happy as myself and have further recommended them. They dont just change tires either, but are a full service shop. Ive tried all the other shops in town, now i just use these guys.
Absolutely blown away at the customer service. Came in with a nail in my tire and had to wait 1+ hr for the fix on a Saturday and Armando didn’t even charge me! Would highly recommend this location! Above and beyond!
They got me right in. They explained that I needed a new tire due to a bent 3-inch nail & couldnt just repair it. They didnt try to upsell me. They were also courteous to my young kids.
Dont bother with the tire warranty, when you try to get it fixed they dont make an appointment and make you work on their schedule
This week tuesday 3/6, I came in for a tire repair on my SUV, Todd and the staff at the Aliso Viejo Big o Tires were extremely helpful, polite and I was in and out of the facility within half an hour. Do not come to this place! Worst customer service. Told me alignment check is free only to find out later that its only free if you will proceed to do it but why would I do it if it doesnt need to be done, which then they will over charge you anyway, so how is that free! They are full of tricks. Friend bought a deal with 4 tires where 2 are free, ended up paying more for 2 then it would cost 4 tires somewhere else, bunch of fees that dont make any sense. Avoid them and you will do yourself a favor. Also they didnt know how to reset the tpms light, kept pressing buttons and screwed up other things, I had to stop them before they screw it up more and ended up doing it myself at home. Terrible!
I refer all my family/friends to this Big O Tires location because they have great friendly customer service, their facility is very clean & customer friendly,my service guy, Juan is VERY knowledgable and he always gives me a fair quote & price for service or repairs. Ive always been treated FIRST CLASS!!!
Ive worked with both Juan and Armando in the past month as I needed both my cars serviced. They are both terrific and very knowledgable.Ive been going to this location for over 15 years and theyre the best Ive worked with.
Avoid like plague! We replaced four tires on our Fiat 500 Abarth there, after a few weeks, the rear right tire started to leak. One of the employee rolled the car on the lift and damaged the side skirts (see Yelp for photos). The problem hasnt been solved, tire still leaking, and the side skirts are damaged. A letter was written recognizing the damages made by this company on the car, we were asked to contact Jose Perez but unfortunately that person NEVER picks up his phone and strangely his mailbox is full! So were still waiting (its been over 2 months). Last update, I tried again today to have that tire fixed and were told by the manager, texto we dont want to touch that car anymore... Pretty simple answer! You love bad service and having you car destroyed? so RUN to that Big O Tire Aliso Viejo!
They made a mistake in my quote, they said I would need new routers how ever they discovered that they can resurface them instead of replacing them. Pep Boys would never do that. Thanks Big O Tire you saved me $210.00

Noah helped me out when my tire light came on again a week after my tires were filled. Ask for him! He is very friendly helpful and also took the time to check in with me and explain what was going on with my tire.
I dont normally go to a service center for basic car maintenance, but dont have a choice out here. That being said, the team at Big O in Aliso Viejo consistently goes above and beyond, and are great to deal with.

I have a lifted 4x4 and offroad it frequently, with a 5 year Big-O contract for alignment. Scott really knows his trade and made the alignment closest to spec over 3 other shops. His alignment also lasted longer and his advise on suspension upgrades and maintenance is spot on.Scott knows 4x4s.
Service was super friendly. And even despite the blazing heat on that day, I still got friendly service with a smile. Plus i was quoted better and competitive rates for future car care that i will be obtaining at the facility i visited.

I had a problem with a battery from Interstate that needed to be dealt with under warranty and they were courteous and took care of it for me. So would I use them again? Yes, I would.
The general manager is very disturbing in his behavior on how he treats everyone differently in a negative way and not honoring warranties based on his own judgement.
I forgot the young mans name at the counter but was very impressed with his professionalism and will definitely come back for additional work on my truck when needed.

2022-05-24Went to 2 different Tire Shops before coming here after they couldnt get my tires for 2-3 days. Big-O-Tires got them for me the next day. Special thanks to Lalo and George for making this experience seamless and fast even when everyone is low on inventor!! Loving my new Michelin Pilot Sport 4s!!!

2022-04-24I went in to get my brake pads changed on my 2017 VW golf. The charged me $130 for a pair of brake pads you can get at autozone for $40. Then they charged $155 for labor. they did new rotors at $143 each they replaced my brake fluid for $32. So the total bill was $710 to have my brakes and rotors changed. The rotors didnt even need to be changed. This was well over double the price that you would pay with an honest mechanic. Not to mention that the service staff was rude and impatient. It is funny to me that their logo is The team you can trust What am I trusting them to do, charge me more than double the price of honest work? I highly recommend that you find a more honest car shop, this was the second-worst experience I have ever had at a car shop.

2022-04-23Worked with George after seeing my cars front tires were on wire. He helped me find a good set of grippy tires and showed me the different tire treads for my style of driving.Ill always come back here for anything I need done that I cant do on my own, they truely go above and beyond for their customers.-Gavin

2022-03-06Horrible customer service. Big O has lost my business for life. I have used Big O for years. I bought 4 new premium tires from them about a year ago. Recently I ran over a nail and stopped in to get it fixed on a Saturday. Understandably they were busy and asked me to come back Sunday and they would fix it no appt needed. It was a slow leak so I went back on Sunday and they told me it would be a 4 hour wait. Why didn’t they make an appt for me when I was there on Saturday? Total waste of time dealing with these idiots 2 days in a row. I will never step foot in this or any other Big O, for the rest of my life.

2021-05-30Got a flat tire and needed to change out my spare immediately. Walked into this Big O tires and was immediately helped by a friendly employee. They quickly figured out what tires I needed on my Honda and gave me an estimate. Total time in and out was about 45 min which was great since I had no appointment. Tires are great quality and were not too pricey (about $230 for two front tires). Altogether a great experience on an awful day.

2021-09-11I chose this business based on the reviews. I went in spoke to George regarding my check engine light that turned on. He then said it will be $140.00 for diagnostic. He said its a great car, if you ever decide to get it off your hands I have couple of guys here that are interested in it. At this point he sounded like a used car dealer auctioneer.Brought the car in left it for half the day. He then said the computer pointed to the fuel tank valve seal. Brought it back for the repair couple days later running me $465.99.I asked about their guarantee that it would fix the check engine light issue and are you sure? He said he is sure, that he will stand by his work. I asked how did you determine it was the fuel tank valve seal, he said its the computer. The more questions I asked the more annoyed he got. He said Mam, if I would be unsure of the work here I wouldnt be in business.Fast forward two days later after the repair was done, the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME BACK ON! I called him he said I need the car for half the day again.I was furious at this point. I brought the car back and asked how did you come to the conclusion that the fuel tank valve seal was bad? He said it was the computer. Again he was offended at my questions and spoke over me saying I need to listen and stop talking.I told him I dont trust that his mechanics have the ability to actually help me I didnt need them to run trial and error diagnostics. I asked him for a refund and he said NO!.I said I will the issue with my bank. These guys are probably good at doing basic things like changing tires, oil change etc..Dont come here if you need expert diagnostics. You will be disappointed. Now Im out $605.99 expensive mistake.
