This place generally has a great selection of beer, wine and spirits. I’ve been very happy with the extensive collection of IPAs and other beers.The 5 cent wine sales are great too. Always helpful to pickup two for basically the price of one.The even have a decent selection of cigars.Good place to go before a party, or special evening
My favorite Bevmo. They had everything on lost we were given. Being a blueberry kind of dude, I love everything thats blueberry. The first brand of blueberry beer they have is my favorite. I dont know the name but its a Pitbull dog holding a blueberry. The other beer is Wild Barrel Vice. Its a blueberry and cherry mix. Fantastic beer!!!
Came in because i had a dinner going on with a date and some friends who love wine. wanting to buy some and being absolutely clueless about wines, BARRY WAS SUPER HELPFUL, FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. I mentioned to him what my date normally likes (Red Wine ) and what i intended to bring in besides red wine.He was generous enough to walk me through iles and give me great ideas. Overall because he went above and beyond my friends loved the wines and so did I. Thanks Barry !!!!
If youre looking for wine or spirits youll do well here. Their imported beer and root beer selection have dwindled dramatically, while theyre domestic beer section is much bigger. Granted there are a lot more quality domestic beers now, but only if you love IPA, which Im not a fan of most. However, I still manage to find a decent amount of beers I really like, but there are quite a few longtime favorites that are missing from their inventory. Their root beer selection is fairly pathetic, Cracker Barrel has a much wider selection.
I mostly drink IPA and Stout beers. Their selection is very impressive, however some of the prices are higher than other places. One beer I found was cheaper at trader Joes by a few dollars even taking into account their ClubBev! Price. One possibility could be that they keep track of when the beer is made to ensure you dont get a stale beer. If thats the case, then Im fine paying a slightly higher price.The staff is all very helpful, professional and knowledgeable and I often ask them for their recommendation.
This place has everything, if they dont have it, tbru probabky dont make it. Theycarry charcoal for your grill so you dont have to make an additional stop. They make it very convenient by providing last-minute alcohol-related gifts...gift bags and all. They even carry Birthday candles.
I never knew what they sold here! It looks like a large percent of alcohol and beverage! Plenty of beverages from wine to individual drinks! Some cheese and other items! Music playing at entrance! Can be more appealing for my taste and offer more selection of nonalcoholic drinks!
The store was clean, well stocked even for a weekend, the staff knew exactly where a bottle named specifically was on the shelves, and if they did not sell it there, then a very close comparison.
Everybody talks about the great selection, but nobody talks about the prices. They charged me over $25 more for a bottle of my scotch than I pay in LA, or other states, or anywhere that is served by another well known discount warehouse distributor that does not have San Diego locations. And this was the price after I had to join their club. Without the club membership, the cost would have been over $20 higher! Maybe a large competitor will come to town and bring the crazy prices down.
On December 12, 2020, I had a delivery order from BevMo. When the guy from Shipt arrived with my order. I noticed the Nova Kombucha Sexy Pina Colada was not in the bag. I asked him about it. He replied to contact BevMo. I called with the intent to speak to a manager. I was told the manager had already left. But a note will be left for he/she to review and issue me a refund. I called back on Monday, December 14, 2020. I asked for a manager and was put on hold. When I spoke to the manager he seemed aware of the order number and reason for the call, but had not issued the refund. I stayed on the phone call as he process the refund, according to him. Once I was guaranteed the refund went through and to wait 5 to 7 days. I ended the call with a thank you!-It’s— December 27, 2020, and the refund does not show up on my credit account.Unfortunately, I do not plan to make any purchases at this BevMo location. And luckily, everything I usually buy even the Nova Kombucha are sold at my local grocery store.I hope other orders are being looked into. I’m sure there has to be more people with similar issues**
Good service and selection of beers and spirits. Would like to see a better selection of Italian wines and mid to higher end Californias. In addition, you can frequently beat this locations prices on many of their wines if you shop around.

This is not definitely the place to shop.1 If the item is not on special it is definitely not what is buying.2 5cent wines are a sham Selling wines that are past their due date.3 skunky old warm beer.4 Parking lot is extremely busy even though being one of the first businesses out of the shopping center It takes forever getting in and out.
Called to see if there was a particular seltzer I was interesting in stock that is fairly new and without even checking or making sort of effort she immediately said it wasnt. Terrible service.

Many good options here, prices are good as well!!!! Love to get my favorite craft beer here like Stone, or Coronado Ave. The carry alot of flavors. Good prices for tall boys. And you pretty much can find whatever liquor flavor or type you can imagine. They also sell a variety of glasses, snacks, and little liquor bottles
Its hard to argue with their selection of beer wine and whiskey. However, their selection of beers that are cold is pitiful. Their pricing is also nothing to get excited about. Can find better prices at Vons, or any independent bottle shop around.
This store was surprisingly busy. The town I came from never had anyone in the Bevmo store. So either I went during a high demand time (party, sporting event, BBQ or something else that I was completely oblivious too) or my new town loves to get their drink on. The isle were a little tight and packed for my liking. I felt like you really had to know what you wanted and where it was as to not prevent others from getting their stuff. Pricing is good on most thing. Lots of cashiers available and easy checkout.
The go-to alcohol store when youre in a pinch. Theres also some good sale items on brand name call and top shelf liquor bottles. They also give additional discounts if you buy wine by the case. Minus one star for lack of (or, a rather limited selection) on bartending items. The items they do have are way over priced. Too bad, because this could really be a one stop shop instead of ordering some times on Amazon. Other than that, BevMo rocks!!?
Good selection but I will never shop at this location again. The manager is worthless. Tried to place a order for a item they didnt have in stock but the distributor had it and he jerked me around. I was ready to spend over 1k dollars on a case of booze. Since then I have used another location and I have also gotten this locations allotment of a high end whiskey that is due to come in around fall stopped.This location will never see PVW ever again.

Love BevMo! Go there for Jack and cokes that are made already buy Jack Daniels. Not many places carry it and for a good price. You can never go wrong with BevMo they pretty much have every liquor wine that you can think of and more. Beer from all over the world. Customer service is awesome
I love the people that work there. I bring my Cane Corso with me all the time. even the patrons are awesome! And if I ask for a certain beverage I get more knowledge than I asked for.
True they have a large selection but if you realize half their stuff doesn’t always sell and I realized while shopping around there that they have many beers that are expired they do not do a good job at rotating their beers and be careful of what you purchase

This is a smaller store than other BevMos in San Diego, but they usually have what Im looking for. Good selection of liquors and spirits. Beer selection could be expanded. Prices are decent and they always have good sales on select items.

Horrible customer service, they don’t even know what they’re selling. I’ve asked if they had the items on my shopping list and they said no we don’t have them available. I decided to take a look around store and I ended up finding them on my own plus they gave me very bad attitude.
I was really glad to see this store opening up here in my neighborhood—I had to go to Mission Valley before when I wanted a hard to find some, beer, or liquor. I go here mainly for their huge selection, and and their sales. The staff is pretty knowledgeable, and friendly.

This place could be the worst location ever and I would still shop here for my energy drink of choice: Bawls. I realize that makes for some low hanging fruit in the way of joke material but its true. Great place for every option of wine, beer and liquor you could possibly want. It can be slightly overpriced but youre almost guaranteed to find what youre looking for everytime. Its a one stop alcohol shop.
Looked on theRe website For a particular bottle it said they had it in stock when I got there it was not ready and when I asked the employees about it it’s a took 20 minutes to respond to me and they did not have it in stock The employees were very reluctant to help the horrible service so I decided to take a look around their liquor prices are absolutely outrageous unless the item is on sale the wine Five cent deals are all old off brand items it will definitely not be the place I come to replenish my needs anymore and I don’t think you should either.

I have to say Erin was outstanding, she helped me in a situation where I I purchased a 15 gallon keg of beer 7 days ago in which the beer was so bad and unable to enjoy , Erin happily told me just come in and I swap it out for a new one ...I have to say not very many stores would do this is, great customer service from BevMo.

I had the great idea of going to this place a bottle of my favorite whisky buchanans and oh surprise store was ver busy but to my surprise I was helped right away and even do line looked like will be several hours to go out it took me 15 min to get to the cashier and on my way home, by the way tha day I was there was christmas eve. 😊🤗👍

2021-11-16Everything its pretty organized and clean, but I got to say, for being a store that specializes in only alcohol you would expect better prices. I went in for a bottle of cheap wine and I was surprised of how much it was. I ended up paying $14 and some change for a bottle that costs me $10 and change at Walmart. Also I had to wait long in line to pay.

2021-03-26Well-stocked store with good deals on wine (essentially buy one get one free deals going all the time), tons of beer (LOTS of breweries and even multiple gluten-free options), and a solid spirit selection, including a decent lineup of mezcal. As a beer guy, I do wish they had a bigger cooler, but that’s being pretty picky. Make sure to sign up for the rewards program otherwise you don’t get the sale prices. They also have a great online portal for pickup or delivery.

2021-07-13I visited the BevMo in Otay Lakes today. I called ahead of time and was helped by Steven. Steven was able to help me hold a bottle of Tequila until I got there as I drove from Santee to come to this location. This location is very nice and my 1st time there. Once I got there I actually purchased a second bottle of the same tequila since all the other BevMo locations in San Diego appear to be out of stock. Steven was very polite and helpful and even was able to help me update my BevMo card that I have reluctantly been putting off updating with my new number. Thank You so much for you help Steven. Im super appreciative for your help and service. BevMo should be very grateful for your great customer service.
