The bed was uncomfortable to sleep on...medal base below the bed made noises when I moved..sounded like someone was trying to break in. When the word breakfast is implied, one would considered this a meal..granola bar, banana and coffee is hardly a breakfast and more like a snack then a meal...the room is nice, everything needed in the room they have provided...staff behind the glass didnt seem very friendly or welcoming, but the girl handing out the a.m. snacks was very pleasant and accommodating..
We have been staying at the hotel for years and Absolutely Love it. Spoke with Lisa to make some changes to our reservations. We love LA so much so we decided to stay an extra day.The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Highly recommend.
Nice clean spacious room. Location didnt seem bad at all. We just stayed one night as we needed a place to sleep from our drive down from SF and we had an appointment the next morning. No issues over our stay. Parking spaces are a bit small if you drive an SUV or a large truck. Other than that, everything was good. If your looking for an affordable clean safe room, I would check this place out.
For a motel, this is a great choice. I’m not a motel person but we were only staying 1 night and wanted something inexpensive. The room was completely renovated and modern. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept on. The room was completely clean. Highly recommend if you need an inexpensive but clean and modern room
Close enough to Universal Studios (about 30 minutes) and reasonably cheap rates. This is no five star hotel by any means, but for what it is, it’s great! Beds are on the firmer but still soft side. The have a small outdoor pool & hot tub. We did use both, however the pool isn’t heated and was pretty cold in the afternoon. And if I had any real complaint, it would be that the hot tub was definitely not hot. Just kind of warm. Definitely warmer than the pool though, obviously lol. I’ve seen some reviewers complain about the area, snd while I agree it’s not the fanciest it really didn’t seem too bad. Just typical California. There’s a Target half mile down the road, which was awesome cause I forgot to bring a couple things. Right across the street from the hotel there are a couple great restaurants. One is a sushi place, the other is Mexican. We went to the Mexican restaurant and it was delicious! My daughter and husband had fish tacos and they both said they were the best fish tacos they had ever had. I will agree the parking is a little tight, especially if you have bigger car. But other than that it was great! We didn’t come here to hang out in the hotel all day, we just needed a place to sleep after visiting Universal Studios.
This was the end location of a recent roadtrip and it was a pleasant surprise how nice this place ended up being. Check-in was quick and painless. The room was clean and very comfortable. The COVID modified breakfast experience was quick and easy with tons of choices.We also felt very safe there. SoCal has a homeless problem and there was a guy that wandered into the parking lot and a staff member quickly and professionally asked him to leave.Best Western has become my go to for a mid tier place to stay while not busting the budget. Highly recommended.
Before you book, review the ratings first. Worst hotel i ever stayed, very dirty Room, bed, sheets. Bad customer service as well. Charged a lot for the lack of service they provide, very rude girl at front desk! Parking lot very small and Goodluck finding a space.Requested a new room and they denied because it was full. This room was better than any Vegas hotel! It had all the amenities, fridge, coffee pot, free soap and shampoo.It was also nice to stay in a hotel that wasnt predominantly occupied by homeless people on drugs.I was able to use the pool early in the morning, like an adult.I really appreciate the great service and the clean room.This was our date night. Our chance to get away from our six kids and enjoy each others company.Thanks Best Western Inn!
Positive: Location on route 66 with great nostalgic diners close by. Room was spacious and exceptionally clean. Good selection of grab and go breakfast items.
The stay was nice, all except for the end when I had a random dude walk into my room, but other than that everything was good. The pool was open and was walking distance to restaurants and convenience stores.
The room looked clean but there was pee on top of the toilet seat. The parking was really tight, we had a U-Haul trailer that was not easy to park, its kinda in a bad part of town

This was not as nice or as comfortable as the majority of best westerns. We use BW across the country and this was at the bottom. Uncomfortable beds and bedding, horrible parking and they make you use the night window in 100° weather.
This motel was priced well for L.A. The room was clean, everything worked well, hot water, nice shower, and the breakfast was good. The parking places are a bit tight, and limited, but we did get a place each night. I would stay there againI do wish the hot tub was a bit hotter though. It was not hot enough to get in with the cooler weather.
I really liked this hotel. It was great for a simple weekend in LA, easy to get to most spots in the city from. The area around the hotel isnt very busy so it makes it a relaxing place to stay.The breakfast room was great, fruit, eggs, waffles and more. The pool was nice and not crowded. The hotel was clean and well maintained. Easy to find and prices are affordable. Parking was good and I felt my vehicle would be safe. Lots of dining and shopping options nearby too.
The room we stayed in was comfortable. The breakfasts were good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The property is in pretty good shape, but the parking can be a little bit of a hassle, fills up quick. Overall we are satisfied and would stay here again.
Its not a five star hotel but its still a nice place. The girl at the desk was very nice when I checked in and got me signed up for their rewards. The room was clean and I was impressed that the TV remote had been sterilized and put into a bag. The shower actually had the shampoo and such in dispensers, which I thought was pretty cool.
From the outside, it looks like a regular motel but its super clean in the rooms and a much bigger breakfast spread than you’d expect from a best western. The front desk and Arlene in the breakfast room were great. Excellent stay for be price and we’ll be back next time we’re in town!

The staff was great. The room was clean and the location was pretty much perfect. The hotel was an older model, but breakfast was included. It wasnt quite as lavish as other BWs but the basics were there. I only wish the breakfast room stayed open past 9:30am to be able to relax over a cup of coffee, but I was kindly kicked out by the very sweet breakfast staff.
I stayed here from a Friday to Sunday, and I will not be staying at this hotel again. The cleaning staff did not service our room on Saturday. We were not in the room from 9am -6:30pm on Saturday (which would have given the staff enough time to service the room) and the room was still never serviced. When I called the front desk I was told that I requested to not have room service which was untrue. I was told ideas too late now. I asked if we can get some clean towels, and I was told to go to the front desk to pick up the towels. The ventilation in the room was terrible. If one person took a shower, the entire room got very humid to the point where we had to open the door, while getting ready, just to get the air circulating. The breakfast was mediocre. The location might have been good for our weekend activities, however, we will find a different hotel next time.

We stayed here for one night but it was such an enjoyable stay. The bathroom was super clean and had natural green bath items and had a bathroom mat which I have yet to see anywhere else lol we always but down a towel so the mat was great. We had a nice room with clean sheets it was nice!Breakfast was awesome!!!! Im vegan but not the others on my trip and they accommodated all of us! Soy milk was offered upon request!!! What more can I ask for!! My bf was obsessed with their waffle maker that was easy to use and had original flavor and strawberry! What! Thats so awesome! Fresh fruit and juice was offered as well!I definitely recommend staying here for sure !!!
Upon check-in the front desk staff were smiling and super friendly. They were welcoming and even gave us a Welcome bag with 2 bottles of water and a cookie :) I thought that was a nice gesture and appreciated it. The gentleman was able to offer us positive feedback about the Chiquita Bonita Mexican restaurant across the street and encouraged us to try it. The woman at the front was helpful in explaining where the parking was and the times of breakfast hours. Our room was right in front of the parking space so we could see our car. The beds were comfortable, there were thick shower towels (LOVE) clean bedding and shower. There was no noise at night time but I wish there was a hidden designated area for smokers so they wouldnt be standing in the parking lot.Other than that, we had an enjoyable stay.
This is a modest, but comfortable place to stay when visiting Pasadena. The water pressure in the shower and wifi signal are good, its clean, and the staff are all excellent. It is reasonably priced, a nice hotel to do business with.
We enjoyed visiting we got a corner room and it was comfortable. Breakfast was fine and they were always helpful. Rooms are larger. WE had trouble with our heating unit and they took care of quickly. We needed it replaced and were brought a heater which worked out fine.
Hotel under renovation however my room should not have been given to guests. Bathroom amenities were terrible, no microwave. However, the beds and TV were the best ever. Breakfast had a huge variety but eggs tasted artificial and sausage links were bad. All other food was great. The employees were very nice.
The exterior of the hotel isnt impressive but the room itself is lovely. Comfortable bed, large TV and great bathroom facility and accessories. Wi Fi works well in room. Breakfast is nothing special but adequate. Convenient location although not in the best part of town. But only a ten minute drive from historical Pasadena. Would definitely stay here again.
We got to check in. There is just one person at the desk and he wasnt there when we arrived but it didnt take him long to be back.We are in room 128. We were provided with the wifi password and the room key. Everything worked great. We got to park in front of our room.The room and bathroom are clean. There are towels and bathroom essentials like shampoo , soaps and mouthwash.There is a mini fridge and a coffee maker machine as well.The room has a nice tabler that can be used for dinner. I loved it.From our room you can heard the cars and ppl who walk around the area. So if have difficulties to fall asleep I dont think this is the room for youEven though it doesnt have a gym there is a 24 hours fitness one which is about 5 to 7 minutes away driving. So if you are a member you can go.
The location is convenient and easily accessible to many sites in Pasadena, especially the Huntington Gardens and Library. There are many nice restaurants located nearby. The staff is friendly and very professional. The rooms are spotless and the breakfast is excellent. The parking lot is spacious. The pool and jacuzzi are always available.
Great place. Clean. Comfy. Decent breakfast. The shower had the mounted shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers so no need to hassle with those annoying little bottles if youre a longer haired person like me! Plenty of towels. Firm beds which left my back surprisingly pain free in the morning. They may have shown me where my back pain stems from so thats a bonus! I wonder if I can order a mattress from them...haha..
Very nice stay. Free breakfast with plenty of selections extra bonus. Updated rooms and comfy beds. Close to Old Town Pasadena. 1/2 hour to Dodger Stadium. Will stay here again. Good value for the price paid.
We chose this motel (exterior stairs and parking outside your door) for the Rose Bowl. It was overpriced for what it was, a room with two beds and a mostly unhealthy free breakfast. Having said that, the room was clean, the WiFi was fast, and every employee was exceedingly helpful and friendly. Walking distance to the Metro gold line, several authentic Mexican restaurants nearby and easy access to grocery and other stores. Quick drive to the heart of Pasadena. If you are looking for a base of operations for the Rose Bowl and parade, its a fine choice
I think my sheets were dirty so requested new ones, good basic room but don’t expect the 4 seasons. Breakfast is complimentary and there’s a small tiny pool and jacuzzi.
The people here are very nice and accommodating about us leaving later because we always arrive very late. Rooms are clean and nice ..air conditioning works well. 🙂 We stay here every year when we come out to visit our son. Good place.
I was disappointed compared with other times I have stayed at this motel. There was a bad odor coming from the sink drain. The toilet seat was very loose, and the toilet did not always flush properly (had to lift the lid and reset the flap.) There were too few cups for 2 people for 2 nights. There are no towel racks in the sink area. Some towels were stained and were rather scratchy.
A good value hotel in Pasadena. Easy access to the 210 highway as well as to local sites. Rooms are adequate but lighting in poor over sink. I used to stay at a nearby hotel but with recent renovations that hotel now has higher prices. So for value I would recommend this hotel. The breakfast was very good as well as selection. Parking is right outside your door.
GREAT ONE NIGHT STAY! Clean room, hard towels but there were a lot of them, and the was comfortable. The parking lot was confusing, but if you pulled into the wrong one its okay to travel to the back lot and cross the street to the next one ;-)Coming soon my TripAdvisor post.
Excellent value for your dollars. The staff was very accommodating. The rooms had been renovated which made them comfortable as well as attractive. This property is well located and convenient to the activities for The Rose Bowl and for travel on the 210 Freeway.
Room was pretty good, everything was very clean and up to date but there wasnt much space in the room and the AC was kinda loud. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast had very little choices.

Very good, friendly and hospitable staff. Coffee machine and mini-fridge in room. Shower bath tub and toilet plus in room hair dryer and ironing board. Overall, recommend it for budget conscious travelers who like to have cleanliness, convenience, and safety.

I was in town to see a soccer game at the Rose Bowl and chose this place due to its (relative) proximity and price. This is an older motel but is well maintained. Rooms are pretty small but we had a corner room so we had quite a bit more space. Breakfast was me but hey, you arnt paying any extra. Only complaint was parking. Lots of large trucks in the lot took multiple spaces plus a few spaces were closed as well.
Very helpful front desk. Bed ok. Pillows better. Breakfast food pretty good. Did not use pool. A little pricey for me, but I felt safe. A little noise through the night, but I slept ok. Employee offered to bring my bag up the stairs for me. I needed and appreciated his help. Would stay again.
Rooms are a little dated but clean. Person who checked me in was nice and friendly. The hotel is not far from restaurants as there are many within a few minutes drive as well as a shopping center just on the other side of the freeway. You do get some occasional street noise from Colorado Blvd. where the hotel is located.
Great location, staff, and clean, quiet rooms. Unfortunately the windows dont lock. The after-market lock installed by hotel can be easily reached and opened. Not safe at all. I fixed the problem myself, but I shouldnt have to .
I arrived from my flight and requested to check in early. Exhausted and jet-lagged, I hoped the staff would be accommodating. They said they would have my room ready at 1 instead of the normal check in time of 3. I was relieved. It was my first time in Pasadena. I arrived at the hotel, nearly missing it from the road. It was a dump. They were half remodeling the hotel. I watched the cleaning lady roll by, dropping towels on the cement, then quickly putting them back on the cart.
VERY CLEAN. Rooms are obviously disinfected and detailed after each visit⁴. Best Western Hotels remain an american standard.
For a Best Western this place is pretty good. Large clean rooms, excellent Wi-Fi coverage, good water pressure, very comfortable beds, extremely cold AC which is great in this hot and humid climate, very close to a wide variety of restaurants, super friendly and helpful staff and overall a great place. However it sits on Colorado Blvd and that can get noisy but the well insulated thick walls, thick door and double pane glass, this proves to be little too zero problem. Theres also a pool and hot tub. I definitely highly recommend this place to the weary traveler.

Clean motel, although furniture is a bit old. We just needed a place to sleep for our holiday so it met the basic requirements. Included breakfast is very basic, so I would recommend going elsewhere for that unless you dont want the hassle.
Small and motel like but the room was clean and didnt have that old musty smell some motels have. Good for one night. The bed was not very comfortable and there was some remodeling going on. Air conditioning works very good.
This hotel was very accommodating. The rooms are very nice and updated, very spacious. The grounds were very clean and well kept. There is some remodeling going on but everything is well contained. The staff is very nice and hard working I always saw someone cleaning or sweeping and just making sure everything was in order. A special shout out to Edward in the office. I had to make some changes with my reservation through Expedia and he helped me with every step and helped me get things taken care of in a very cordial and timely manner. My son attends college here in Pasadena and because of the good experience and awesome staff, especially Edward, I will stay at this Best Western everytime I am in town to visit my son. This has become my regular stop when traveling through the area. Clean, comfortable bed, clean pool, more than your basic Continental breakfast choices, nice staff. Excellent Gin Sushi across the street, Whole Foods just down the block.
You get what you pay for. Helpful staff. Cheap beds. Heater/AC unit not working until staff notified. Very noisy...someone showering early in am woke me up. No HBO. But a 1000 other useless channels in HAD to sort through. Really soft towels. Liqued shower gels mounted on wall with inly two of three full/available. Ill have to condition my hair another day :(Free breakfast.
We called in early Saturdays morning to get a room for 4 people. Its the July 4 long weekend but they were able to help us find the room. The price was very affordable, considering how close it is away from Little Tokyo, Koreantown, Disneyland and Hollywood. All of these tourist attraction places are only 30 mins away from the hotel.There is another Best Western right next to this one. The buildings in this management look a little older than the one next to it, so do not get confused when you go in. Regardless, we enjoyed our stay here. The check-in / check-out procedure was super easy. They had everything we needed for the night. They also provided breakfast and it was sooo good! The breakfast hours are from 6:30 - 9:00 am - it gets crowded very easily so its better to go in there early if you want to sit there and eat.
The stay was very nice for the amount of money it cost .I was not expecting much after reading reviews but was blown away how nice it was . The room was nice and very clean and bed was comfortable.We could not hear the street like a lot of people wrote it was very quiet .The people who work there are very friendly and maid service does a good job .The breakfast everyday was good so that was a nice start to our day .The only negative is parking is tough and they are remodeling so construction is going on but only in the day so doesnt bother with your sleep .overall was very happy with my stay and would go there again for sure .
For some reason I couldnt connect to the wifi. The front desk staff however told me that I was connecting to the wrong one and helped me to connect to the correct one. The internet was fast and reliable once I got that sorted out. All the staff members were very accommodating to any request I had. In my opinion, this hotel had the best staff out of any hotel I have been to so far! The staff really go out of their way to make you happy!
The breakfast is good but for me the place is noisy if youre looking for a good night sleep. Toilet is making a loud noise every time you flush it. I will not recommend it and I will probably not comeback.
We love to stay at this hotel. We come down from Sacramento 3 x a year for a event we attend and this Hotel always accommodates us with ample parking for our truck and trailer. We have stayed at this Hotel everyone we visit Pasadena . The staff are very nice and the beds are super comfortable. We highly recommend this hotel.

After leaving the Comfort Inn (they dont clean their beds), the Best Western was more than accomodating! Comfy, clean rooms, friendly staff, and they let me extend my check out until noon. Definitely recommend if youre staying in the area.

Always great spending time in LA with family and friends and enjoying our home away from home...Best Western Inn in Pasadena. This hotel has really been our home away from home for about 10 years. Thats a long time so you know that we have always been satisfied with the folks, the service, our room and the great breakfasts. My wife and I highly recommend BWPasadena.
Clean, despite being an older hotel. Bed was comfortable, decor has been upgraded. I will stay there again. Surrounding area is a bit depressed, but the hotel was exceptionally quiet.

Love this hotel. First, its near main destination of LA. Second, its clean. Third, they serve free breakfast.But I did wished to have at least 2 or 3 channels, even local would have worked, on TV.
Terrible bed...very hard. A/C barely blew any air. Flushing the toilet was very loud and the pipes would squeal for several minutes after flushing. The trim around the bathroom door on the inside was missing. Room was dingy and unappealing. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was marginal...Costco foods.
We truly enjoyed it . it was very excellent customer service during this hard time . But the team is excellent and the room is very very clean and the room service is on time and the pool is unusual and the jacuzzi is very adjustable temperature it was really great time. Thx BW

Ok, first of all...this place tells me I can stay for a few days,and I requested a quiet room...and they gave me a room in to he corner,but a couple checked into room that was next to me,and they slamming door slot,and partied,loud...and after a few days I wanted atleast another day,to rest...and they said NO,YOU MUST CHECK OUT..YOUR ROOM WAS RESERVED.OK,HOW CAN YOU RESERVE IT,IF IM STILL IN IT???!!?? AND ALSO..THEH REFUSED GIVING ME MY ONE HUNDRED DOLLAR DEPOSIT BACK,.DUE TO MH ROOM HAVING A SLIGHT SMELL.WELL,I WAS EATING IN ME ROOM DAILY..THERE MAYBE WAS A SCENT OF FOOD.THIS MOTEL TRATS THEIR CUSTOMERS RUDELY.
The Best Western Pasadena Inn was a decent stop for one night. The room was clean and average size. Could use some updating on furniture. The breakfast was very good with a choice of ham, sausage patties, bacon and eggs.
The rooms were nice and cold when I went in, I loved that! The place is quiet despite being next to the street. The breakfast is great just like any other BW breakfast. 10/10

On a day when it’s over 100 degrees, the AC unit is not turned on until we walk in the room. Inside is over 85 degrees with AC running for 2 hours. Wanted to leave and would not give money back

Staying here with family group of 12 and the service was EXTREMELY nice and the staff was always more than willing to help with anything. There were a lot of movie channels in HD, free wifi, complimentary breakfast, jacuzzi, and pool! I stayed for $150 (tax included) for a night btw. Would recommend to anyone!

Checked in Nov 16th for 4 nights. Very clean. Cheap. Breakfast was great. People helpful and friendly. Close to metro. Funny, weekdays are more than weekends. If out that way, well be back.

Location is easily accessible. Basic hotel with decent service. parking spot a bit tight. Breakfast is decent. Good place to stay overnight with mtg toddlers.

This hotel will charged 200usd who didnt smoke in the room, pls remember to count more 200usd if u book a room, with very bad service and no hot water every room, the laundry service with a broken dryer which u have to pay! I wont be living this hotel anymore and tell all of my fd who visit USA!

The property is under a current remodel project so there was a little noise. We found the room to be a bit small and cramped but there was a great breakfast.

Whenever I have business in downtown LA, I choose to stay at the Best Western Pasadena Inn, its economical, a short drive to my LA office, the rooms are nice, clean, and the breakfast is always hot and ready.

It was clean and quiet. My room was on tge first floor and there was plenty of parking.
It was slightly clean but it did the job. I only stayed for a night but I dont recommend staying more than that. The area seems skechty too so keeps your valuables on you.

2022-06-20Better than the Best Western right next to it but not worth the price. They do take AAA though for a discount. Bad location but had to be there for work. Definitely not a vacation spot but very good for what was needed. Room had a microwave, mini fridge, two comfortable beds, AC, a coffee maker, hair dryer in the bathroom, l Its of light and curtains for night and a nice TV. Staff was great and catered to a wake up call.

2022-07-01Don’t trust the good reviews. Worst motel ever. Very dirty and smelly. Can hear every word next door even they walking in the room. Can’t sleep on the junk mattress at all. Worst experience ever!! Very small room. Noisy window unit.

2021-12-23The room was scrupulously clean, the showerhead was great, the decor was modern and updated, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was very Covid safe and the omelette had real cheese and not Velveeta. Yay!

2022-02-06Just updated to 5 starsI still dont get why I got the corner room under the stairs but to actually get a breakfast that you can take to your room (and not just a virtual one that is advertised and then cancelled bc of covid) is worth the fifth star
