Came into purchase a very specific item, was able to even get the open box price of the item and a discount. The sales rep was very professional and I appreciated him making sure the product worked since it was an open box prior to purchase. Will return to this store to buy my appliance and electronics as long as the price is reasonable and its a sale item
Went to look at a fridge for the Wife and she spotted one she liked and so intent to ask for assistance. After giving the gentleman my phone number to I guess text us when he has someone available to help us. Mind you the store was somewhat busy I understand but having to wait 20 min or more. Lets just say we couldnt wait any longer we had other things to do so we left. Its a good thing we did because we found something better at the Exchange on base. I do gotta give them three stars because we did go in and at least see their refrigerators.
To the store manager Brett, who said he is over the entire Menifee location. As a store manager it is your obligation to make sure your employees are all well aware and up-to-date on the information that they are providing to your customers. You also mentioned that your geek squad appointments are out by two days because they do not have technicians and are not able to assist people who are referred to them by your customer service desk to assist the same day. As a store manager it is you’re also obligation that you hire according and ensure staff are properly trained. It is very frustrating when I have purchased a $200 warranty and your store is not functioning properly to assist me and I am now having to go to another city to seek same-day assistance. As a general manager of this location your employees should feel comfortable looking up to you for guidance and what a leader looks like. My interaction with you was nothing but less were no eye contact was made and the word “unfortunately” came out of your mouth multiple times. Do better and be a leader who are your employees could look up to.
The guy at the register refuse to take my payment because he insisted he had to scan my ID the account is under my husbands name and I have come in and make payments before without problems. All he needed was the DOB for my husband, out zip code and then I should see enter my husbands SS#. I ask for a manager and he pointed to the guy thats greeting at the door whom was not the manager, but he did get one for me and was very polite and the manager was too. She took my payment without any problem. How funny that the customer knows what you need and the register guy doesnt.
DISCLAMER: This Best Buy has bad customer service. I couldnt reach the store over the phone [sends me directly to a call center and lady says they will take my component which is a lie], so I had to drive from Hemet to Menifee for Geek Squad to tell me they dont fix tape decks and the system sent me an account recovery text code 2 hours after I requested them when they were already expired. They are hella busy or they just suck. Maybe both. 🤷
I went they said they couldnt fix my ps5 that is under their 2 year protection plan or give me a new one.I went back at a later time to get the stuff i needed to get it fixed from sony some lady said no we can fix it for you i dont know why they said they couldnt so i came back the next day just for them to say no we cant fix it and who ever helped me was high as all hell.Its annoying to have my time and gas wasted like this
I usually go to Best Buy because they are always the best prices, but I wanted to purchase a microwave but decided not to when I was told the install was $244.00 and the microwave cost was $269.00 absolutely did not make sense Home Depot price same microwave installation was $120.00
I am upset with Best buy. I was given a best buy gift card for $25.00.(figure it cash given to store).I wanted to buy a 3 month xbox live card for $24.99.They said I wasnt able to buy it with the gift card. Why? I could use a visa gift card and purchase it. Why not a best buy card. (Best buy has $25.00) of someones money and Im just trying to buy a product Best Buy is selling. This is actually really dumb and have lost all respect for this company. Its just better to pay less somewhere else. All the money I have spent in the previous years, and even used there credit cards where they have made interest off me will never happen again. I will buy elsewhere.
I bought my computers, laptop, TV, and many other Items and received great help in getting a right product. I have the Geek Squad membership which I would really highly recommend. Ive bought a screen protectors for the kids tablets as well as my own devices from a different retailer and they still put them on at no extra charge because of the Geek Squad membership. When you have children using your computer you can guarantee some thing will go wrong and with the Geeks Squad protection membership they fix it at no extra charge other then what you paid for your year membership.
Super helpful staff at this best buy. The new check in service at the front door is new to me and my wife and we were expecting a rather lengthy wait. However to our surprise we were incepted by the employee helping us about 20 inside the door. They were unfortunately out of stock on the item that we were looking for but the employee spent time with us to help us find a nearby store that had the item in stock and to hold it for us so we could get. Great experience Everytime I go here.
I had ordered something to be picked up at that location. The email I received when my order was ready said to head to customer service for pickup which is where I went. Waited in line over 10 minutes only to be told I needed to go outside the store for pickup… ok I’m irritated at this point. I go outside to pick up and tell the employee it would be nice if their email or website specified that orders were to be picked up outside not at the regular customer service center. She is very blunt and points to a tiny little order pickup sign and says “It’s posted there.” Her name is Chrissy or Christy. She doesn’t seem to enjoy her job or maybe she lacks customer service skills. I will no longer visit this Best Buy as the employee was rude the entire time. I will try to avoid shopping with Best Buy or if I must I will go to Corona Best Buy
I bought a Lively Smart phone today. The sales person was Crystal. I just have to let you know what great service she gave me. When I asked her about transferring the phones, she sat down and did the work to transfer the service and data for me. I am not very computer savy and I needed help. She was patient, professional, courteous and very competent. I just want to laud Crystal for her work in making Best Buy the place to shop.
4 stars because there was no one on the floor in the rear of the store and it was a good 40 minutes until I spotted someone from the front but evenso, they just pointed which isle to go and didnt directly help me out. Not what Im used to because I had questions about the item and had to make a sound decision on my own by looking up Google reviews of the item which took longer in the store. I would have given 5 stars if customer service was better and more floor workers available to help customers out.
Ordered an item for curbside pick-up. Waited for the email/text to confirm order was ready for pick-up. Pulled up to the curbside pick-up parking spots. Waited not even 3 minutes and a young man came out with our order. Excellent experience and customer service. Would definitely recommend curbside pick-up!
Dont waist your time with this location. Best Buy unfortunately just isnt what it used to be Customer service is a joke and there employees have that ego as if nothing can touch them cause unfortunately it trickles down from management with the same attitude and stature. Therefore they are right to act that way cause they are not going to be reprimanded when there Boss is the example they are following of horrible customer service. Sometimes its nice to have a company go above the line something they dont have to do to make a customer happy. You never know it might lead to a simple good review or to something more then that. Not only have I had this location damage my vehicle with audio installation resulting in over 2 grand in damages to a hybrids battery system.Now they have failed to give me a basic extra step of help on a Sunday evening. Id like to give the opposite of a shout out to Griffin the self proclaimed branch manager for closing the doors on my face. I will not be renewing my total tech support membership and unfortunately be moving on to a different electronic goods store for future purchases and services. This location has let me down to many times and always with a smile on there face ad if they just dont care. 😃
Worst delivery service ever. Two tries and can’t figure out how to deliver my washer and dryer that I’ve been waiting for for over a month now. First time, delivery guy says dryer was not in stock and no one called me. When I called customer care they said no it is in stock and is at the store waiting for delivery. All they had to say was oops. Sorry. After we went thru the pain of rescheduling they cancel the delivery without telling me and this was after I got the confirmation call the day before. Again no delivery and no one seems to care. I’m paying 2000.00 for this washer and dryer and have been waiting almost a month now and I am still waiting and no one can figure out how to do their jobs. No one communicates and I’m left taking days off work to get a washer and dryer that I paid for. No sense of urgency from customer care. No one knows why things happen they just say oops we’re sorry. If your reading this, do yourself a favor, buy somewhere else, like Lowe’s. They were cheaper and Best Buy had to price match their price. I also doubt any of the managers will even care to read this. They already got their money from me. Now I’m just offering their terrible service. Last time I ever buy from Best Buy. Worst place ever.
Bought surface pro 7 refurbished and straight out of the box it was broken! Then they tried to say no returns and gave us a hard time. The refurbished process at this store is clearly faulty and someone is not doing there job(manager and lady at register were professionals every other part of this process was bad.
Came in to buy a computer , sales rep Keith was so helpful and informative. He was able to get me set up with everything I needed, from the PC and monitor to the antivirus protection. Any questions I had he was able to give insight and answers. Great experience! Thank you Keith.
Called and asked what the name of a cord is and if u have it in stock. Its for an oculus 2 and it goes into a PC. the woman on the phone didnt understand English very well and there was a communication barrier there, she also advised me that there was no such thing. Called around and found out its called a USB-C. Im thinking your staff should have some knowledge on the product you sell. This was an odd experience
Great customer service, gets me every time! Jasmine was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. She directed me to the product I desired. She showed me great complimentary products and she answered all my questions. I was very impressed with the level of assistance I received. Great job Best Buy! You hire great people. Best Buy never fails!We were looking for a third deep freezer. Found a small one for a reasonable price, little over $100 at 5 square feet..turned and saw one twice as big for only $100 more and was on clearance only bcuz of a superficial dent on the bottom panel.Was a great buy
I am very happy with my experience with this Best Buy. I got a great price on a printer. And thought I had curbside pickup and turns out I didnt. But the girl helping someone else went out of her way to help me. She brought my printer to me and was so nice. Ill be back to this Best Buy.
My only complaint is you can never just walk up to Geek Squad, make sure your schedule an appointment before going. Store is still at limited capacity which means limited staff as well. Staff is always great. Ive had to do allot of ship to store because of their limited selection on certain items. With that said, their curbside pickup is quick and easy, and usually the items get to the store in a few days
If I could give this place less than 1 star I would!!!!! I will never order or come to this one again. The service was TERRIBLE!!!! I waited about an hour for a STORE PICK UP item I ordered beforehand online. I ended up having to cancel my order and WASTED MY TIME BECAUSE THEY REFUSED TO GIVE IT TO ME. The lady at customer service gave me attitude and I left in tears. I was annoyed and irritated. They just watched me as I waited and stood in line. Last time every setting foot in this store. Poorly run, you’re better off going to Walmart. Don’t waste your time.
So first we ordered the parts online on the official Best Buy website to be delivered to the store and it got delayed by a few weeks. Then when my appointment came it turns out their “online store isn’t that good and it doesn’t tell you all the parts you need to purchase” so I drove all the way to the store just to buy more parts to be sitting in my room for about a month and then when my second appointment came they didn’t even install it correctly and couldn’t figure out how to connect the steering wheel controls to the radio. Don’t waste your time here.
This store is a joke. Everytime I go in it’s something different. The store is only 2 miles from my home so it makes sense to visit this store and have this as my store.I came in one day to browse and seen they had a open box Sonos Arc for sale. Seeing as these are rather difficult to get during these times I grabbed it but placed the order online for it on my phone as I was using a business account for it. I go to customer service asking if they can fulfill the order. The guy at the counter told me he couldn’t and I basically had to wait until someone picked it but that could mean someone could walk up to buy it. They have done this before for me on many occasions so I know it can be done. I asked for the store manager to have it done and guess what. She did it in less than 10 minutes. Then my most recent visit I go pickup a OLED TV I ordered online for pickup and they gave me the WRONG TV!!! I noticed it once I got home and opened the bed of my truck and seen the box said UHD on the side and OLED. I go back to the store and they told me they have to check their surveillance cameras to “ensure” that they made the mistake of giving me the wrong tv and that I’m not trying to pull a fast one on them. What idiots.
This location is always clean, and kept very organized. The staff is usually friendly and helpful. Sometimes there can be a little bit of a wait in the customer service line, or when waiting to talk to an associate about a specific item. Right now they are offering curbside pick up where they bring your order out to your car. I love the convenience of this! Hope they continue it even after covid calms down.
Had a bad customer experience with Manager Will. One of his associate was asking him for help on an price match override, he appeared to be rushed that he argued the price match. He said the bundle price was $250 on a smart lock, I was only picking up the lock and not the bundle. After the associate went to another Manager, he verified the price. She then had to wait for Will to come back for the override, he still wanted to proof me wrong. After finally reading the description he approved the override but could not offer an apology. Ive been in the customer service field for over 20+ years and if Im ever wrong, I make sure apologize. This helps with the bad experience reviews.
Purchased the Sony ZV-1 for my graduating senior. Keith in electronics was amazing at explaining the differences between the other options which made choosing uncomplicated. He also suggested the best accessories to go along with my purchase. My experience with him felt as if the lost art of customer service had been restored. Big ups to Keith!
Let me start by saying that Im an Elite Plus Member, Best Buy credit card holder, and have been a loyal Best Buy customer for the past 15+ years. Ive spent tens of thousands of dollars at Best Buy and was a loyal customer even despite the fact that my job provides steep corporate discounts at B&H and other electronics retailers. Despite this, the store supervisor (Cort) as their Menifee, CA location decided to charge me a 15% restocking fee on a camera lens despite the fact that I was exchanging the lens (within 24 hours of purchase) for a more expensive lens that was TRIPLE the cost. This type of money grabbing pettiness is the exact reason retailers are going out of business - they fail to provide a unique customer experience that differentiates itself from Amazon and other online stores. Had I returned the lens with Costco, Amazon, or B&H it would have been no questions asked and no fees. I plan to close my BB credit card since it’s already paid off and moving forward will purchase all my electronics from B&H and Amazon.
Staff was (and always has been to me) very friendly, but mostly helpful & typically provide me with really useful feedback on products and their technical specs. Best Buy has also has some pretty competitive pricing on items even when compared to online retailers lately. Two thumbs up!
Our landline phone got fried in a power surge and we needed a new one right away! I bought one online for a great price, and they brought it out to my car when I arrived at their location! Quick, safe, and great prices, along with great customer service! All told, it took one and a half hours from order till we picked it up!
I spent an hour on the phone making an appointment for phone repair. I made sure to state make and model,I asked to be sure they would have the parts, and would be open. I showed up to appointment, promptly told NO ONE in best buy or geek squads fixes Samsung Galaxys. AT ALL!I am disabled, have 2 kiddos with medical special needs. I verified all information prior to arrangements of a nurse to watch my kids so I could take my phone is for repair, only to have wasted my time and money,but Geek Squads.
The backup camera installation was above and beyond! Very professional service and there was more fix given than I expected. The technician Chris did a great job making sure every feature is working properly. This Best Buy does a better job repairing my car electronics compared to the local Volkswagen dealership! Highly Recommend!
Best Buy has become a shell of itsself. All locations are understaffed supposedly. I mean they have laid off many employees but also force you to schedule an appointment just to ask a question or retrieve a product from a case. Trick is, screw that.. if you know what you want just goto the cashier and tell them to get it. Im not waiting around for an appointment. This isnt middle 2020, this is July 2021. Fix this non sense.
We (my wife) and I walked in the Mennifee store at or about 8:48 to buy a washer & dryer set, we knew what we wanted. Knowing it was getting close to closing, I spoke loudly (can we get some help) looked around i saw a lot of blue shirts looking at me, but no one answered, so I went to the guy monitoring the the door and asked if he could send someone over, he said sorry but were close. I said but im already in the store, sorry sir me*Then why did you let me in the store if you had no intention on helping use. Him* for grab &go items only Me* thats what Im here for, to grab this set and go..him* its not that easy, theres a lot more work involved..Ive shopped at this store from the time it was built and I must say it cringes me to think about going in that store again., however I will... to let the store manager know that his store lost about 2,000 In revenue dew to neglect
Today I went in to shop for Major Appliances. I was greeted as I walked in and put on a wait list for assistance. John approached me and said he would be assisting me. John did an amazing job by helping me as he said he was more familiar with TVs but he didnt hesitate to go ask his supervisor if he didnt know the answer. Soon when Will was done with the customer he was assisting he came over and helped with more of my questions. They went above and beyond in assisting me today and I am very grateful. I left purchasing a kitchenaid double oven gas range and I would have been interested in a refrigerator but they were out of stock but due to covid I understand. I will definitely be back for a fridge. Thank you again Will and John for being awesome employees 👏
Always friendly, helpful, courteous, and informative the employees go out of their way to insure you are being aided. Ive gone in several times to get information on specific items in order to make the best decision for my situation. Their is a range of solutions and I have yet to make my decisions. Im taking my time since I have gone to more than one place. I feel comfortable shopping here since I also dont feel pressured to buy anything. 5 stars for sure!
Went to two Best Buys on Black Friday because the first one didnt have what I wanted. There was a line out the door at the first store and I was buying a couple things and they took me right away at the return desk, that was great and everyone was very helpful. Went to the second store and they had what I wanted, and I was in and out. Great experience for a Black Friday, thanks Best Buy. 👍
Very disappointed.VERY POOR customer service.Visite the store today and was just trying to get a smart tv.But the csr @eletronics without even listening to what was my need rudely redirect us(me and my partner) to the front and there was a list to be followed so he could not help us !I was apalled and surprised that he didnt even try to be pleasent as he just blew us off . I work with sales for about 20years and I was never so dis appointed.A smile a validation goes a long way, customers do not want to rear negative words.Try to say Yes with a smile,try to say things like Absolutely or great choice.Show interest.make a effortIts the way you deliver the msg..Other wise if you dont like your job as a Csr find a different occupation.I will not be going back to shop at best buy anymore.Do not recommend.
I have never been to a retail store that doesnt like to sell merchandise. I went to this location to browse the TV wall and had some questions about a TV I wanted to purchase and had to confront Best Buys epically sophomoric customer service business model where you have to sign up at the front to be helped. Equally sophomoric, the sales associate refusal to help based on that system. One of the basic rules of sales relys on making the customer feel welcome and validated. This associate made me feel like I was a burden. Needless to say, I purchased my $2k OLED at another retailer and dont think I will do business with this location or this company again. I will encourage others to do so as well.
Waited about 30 min to have a sales associate put me on a list and they would txt me when it was my turn. Am I in a restaurant waiting to be seated?? After about 7 minutes, didnt want to wait any longer, drove home, 20mins away, and they finally txt me. Do your research, know what you want, and have it delivered, or go pick it up if you cant wait...
Made a purchase online. I guess I am used to how easy Amazon is to deal with. Had a problem with my best buy order and had to return it because it arrived broken. initiating a return meant that I had to call Best Buy and sit on hold for 25 minutes. They took over two weeks to replace the item and when they did send me the replacement is was the exact same broken item that I had returned. Had to sit on the phone again for a half hour. Now I have to wait 10 days to pick up a replacement item at their Menifee store. Joke !
The customer service here is amazing, I had help from a guy that wasnt as detailed as he should have been when I was buying a new television. I was not aware that you have to transport a television standing straight up. So I went to get a Samsung 65 instead of the curved 55 as they were th same price. Well it wouldnt fit in my suv as I knew it wouldnt BUT I told the young man I would tie it down to the rack of my suv. Long story short, doing this goes against the warranty. So I had to exchange for the 55 samsung curve. A young man named Mr Martin needs an increase in his wages how amazing his customer service was. Thank you Mr Martin, I greatly appreciate you.
My wife and I purchased a washer, dryer and refrigerator. Two items came damaged and when I tried to speak to a manager I was told that you cant speak to a manager. WTH? The store manager would contact me if convenient? Omg such bad customer service! I will never buy anything from Best buy period! Fyi I paid cash BS! I will probably ask for a full refund and Best buy can go screw themselves! So sad!
I went in to buy Beats headphones. I had many questions, one of them being a price match and we had issues with items matching etc. An employee named Mathew went above and beyond to help me find the exact ones and make sure I received the best price. He was patient, helpful and friendly. I appreciate it tremendously considering I was with my 5 year old and had many questions. Thank you Mathew for the help and friendly service that I would hope more employees would portray
Its been a couple of years since I stepped foot in any Best Buy. Everyone was welcoming and very helpful. I want to give a shout out to Jason at The Geek Squad!! His act of kindness touched me and nearly had me break down in tears. I want to say THANK YOU so very much for your kindness even though you didnt have to do what you did. It just goes to show that you never know what people are going through and always treat people with kindness and respect because those two things go a long way! I hope that one day I can be in the position to pay it forward❤️
Did curb side delivery. The sign for that needs to be a little more accurate. Theres a sign outside Best buy which is where we pulled up that says curbside delivery. Doesnt have an arrow or anything just has a sign so we parked there. Then we put that we were there for them to bring the stuff out and kept asking what parking spot where we in. So we started looking around trying to figure it out and then we seen the spots where it says curbside delivery and each spot was numbered. After that it was easy and they brought it right out. But if we had nowhere to park in the first place we wouldnt have been there as long as we were. Once we figured it out it was easy.
Sales associate was awesome, she gave me great advice how to save some money then gave me hand written instructions how to get to the Best Buy store that had what I needed in stock (my phone stopped working and I needed a replacement). Wish I could remember her name, but she was a young lady working the mobile phone department first thing in the am. Thanks again Best Buy!
Dont waste your precious time at this store. We knew what TV we wanted to buy, and asked for someone to get it from the stockroom. They said their associates were busy, and said they would meet us in the back in 15 minutes. Twenty-two minutes went by, and the same man we talked to walked by three times and ignored us. Of course, when a pretty girl asked spontaneously for his help, he dropped everything to help her!More time went by, and there was no guarantee that the TV displayed was in the stockroom. We asked how much longer we needed to wait, and they said there was no one available to help us. We went over to Target, where they featured the same TV. Even though there were a lot of people in the electronics department, we were helped within 5 minutes. Guess which store has better management?
I had went on the 13th and made an online order with an associate for my daughters birthday. The say I was suppose to get my order it didnt come. So I called, the phone system is horrible. They hung up on me 5 times before I finally got to talk to someone. Told them my problem and was placed on hold for 30 min for her to come back and tell me I dont have an order. That I would have to come back and cancel and reorder. I get there and ended up talking to the computer supervisor and she was very nice and helpful. Put my order in again, expedite my order and I got 4 out of the 5 today. I understand problems happen but corporate should let their employees know what is going on so they can contact customers or know what is going on when calls start to pour in
I had an Apple service appointment and I took my phone in to do an issue with the screen. The guy ran a diagnostic but said he could not find any problem with the screen. It still has a big spot on the front of the screen and now I have to take it back. I tried to take it in without an appointment but they would not help me. Both times I felt they were very ery unhelpful and dismissive when they should’ve been able to fix the screen easily or replace it. A big waste of time twice now
Waited 24 minutes after being placed in the que. Asked how much longer and was told 4 more people in front of me. I told the employee I couldnt stand any longer, Id have to leave. He apologized. I asked him if he could tell me what aisle the items were on that I was looking for. He did direct me. During my waiting time, I had already asked a employee if they could tell me where I could find phone car charger and an adapter, showing her the old one I had with me. She said she didnt know where they were located. While on the aisle he directed me to a sales person walked that verified which car phone charger I needed and looked for and asked another employee where the adapter I was looking for might be. He walked us to where the adapter they had were on his way up to get the next person in the que. I got my text then, that I was the next person. I was told if neither item worked for me I could return them. I tried the car charger immediately and it worked. I will try the adapter later today. While I waited I saw 2 and 3 people helping one customer, multiple times. Seemed to me the training might not be what is needed or there were several new employees.
Bought a tablet for Christmas for my grandson. Got insurance for it. . 2 months later he breaks the screen. Took it back. They refuse to fix it. They gave me my money back. I did not want my money back. Just wanted to seem tablet back. They refused to honor the same price for the same tablet. Because I got it on sale for Christmas. Now it was not on special. They said I had to pay full price for it. But I did not pay full price. I do not want my money back. Just wanted the same tablet. Manager refused to give me the same price. Said I had to pay full price. People that read this beware of insurance that sell you. Because if its not worth fixing theyll just give you money back. But not the insurance money that you paid. And if its not in sale. You have to pay full price if you want it again. Been coming here for years. The worst experienced.
WOW!! This store is awesome... Best staff ever lets not mention the cell phone department. After having to deal with many other retailers who didnt care about customers including corporate sprint stores. I wanna thank Michael & Danelle for helping us get our phones and making us aware what fits our needs. They took the time and werent afraid to answer questions we had. We are very happy with our new phones and new provider. 😁😁😀🎉 Thank you guys for having the best staff available. 👍👍
Not great.I dont like being ignored by employees when I have a question. Excuse me, Im sorry to bother you but I was wondering if you could help me find an auxiliary cord sure thing sir then walk off and start joking with other employees.Wasnt even busy.Not cool if you ask me...Big thank you to the samsung rep that was there that took 2 minutes of their time to help me, it was greatly appreciated. Theyre the only reason I dont give 1 star.
I dislike shopping here. On numerous occasions I’ve witnessed employees arguing with customers about products or returns and sort of making a scene. We had to make a return of an item that we had just purchased five minutes prior (car charger for phone) and the associate assured us it would work. We said if it didn’t we could bring it back right? And he said yes. Of course it didn’t work and we took a photo of what the car display was saying and went right back into the store. The lady working the returns was arguing with a customer about where she had purchased the item she was returning. She left us standing there for over 20 minutes while she followed the customer over to the mobile area and continued the argument. Meanwhile we stood and waited, numerous employees walked by and no one offered help. When she finally came back she questioned if my husband purchased the item there even though he had been in there now thirty minutes prior purchasing it. Our receipt went to email and she gave us major hassle about returning said item because we didn’t have the paper receipt. She was rude and condescending and shouldn’t have been working retail at all. I’ve found that several employees have a similar attitude especially when it comes to returns. Or just asking about products in general. Not very professional and not a friendly place to shop if you ever have to return anything. Even with proper documentation
Very knowledgeable staff at the Geek area. They diagnosed my computer to be what I found, dead. They handed me over to a Best Buy salesman (Michael) who did an excellent job in pointing me to a new computer. He explained everything as well as the warranty. I havent been in a Best Buy for at least 5 years. Im happy they improved from the last time I used them. Will be going again instead of straight to Amazon. Bought an iBuyPower system.
The store has a lot. Just about anything electronic. But the selection is limited. Limited appliances, cameras, computers, televisions, audio equipment, cell phone, printers, and accessories for these items. They have extended warranties, and technical support.... that too is limited. The prices are not the best but retail. I use Amazon and stores that have specific items for the best price or selection. This place needs to be much larger or specialize in a certain area to improve.
Basically, we got about $260 worth of merchandise for $10. That was because of the large purchase that I made in November. I did have to talk to corporate for them to reinstate the certificate because I was unaware that we only had 60 days to use it. But they were very understanding and CO operative. It was a very pleasant experience all the way around!
I get that this covid problem is causing issues, but someone there needs to know what theyre talking about. They rely too much on the system and present minimal knowledge of their product.I was sorely disappointed overall. At least they were able to get the right item i asked for, after waiting 15 minutes from telling them I wanted to buy it and them asking if I wanted to buy it... Yes, I told you 15 minutes ago. Why am I still waiting? Seriously...
The sales people have an enormous amount of knowledge about the products they sell and helpful beyond measure. They make suggestions, if Im not sure of exactly what I want/need. I have NEVER been disappointed in their service since I started as a customer for about four years. The Geek Squad is excellent and so very patient and reliable. I have never had a complaint about any of their employees or services.
My computer was being repaired by Geek Squad. After some time, I received an email stating the device was ready for pickup. I called the store itself to confirm, which they did, and promptly made an appointment and went to the Best Buy store the same day.A male employee greeted me, took my information and searched in his computer for my account. He said that the system showed my computer had not yet arrived. I told him how I confirmed with the store and let him view the email off my cell phone. After suggesting it could just be an error, I asked if he could check for my device in the back to be sure. He refused, relying only on what the system had told him.I became frustrated, having driven 20 miles all the way out there only to have to turn around and go home, not even being absolutely sure my computer wasnt actually there. At this point, I asked to speak to a manager. The employee obliged and I repeated the issue to the manager directly. The manager obliged my original request and went to the back room to see if he could find my device.A minute later, he returns, lo and behold with my laptop in hand. He explained to me that the system did not show my device as being in the store because it had been placed in the wrong spot. This error could have been easily spotted if the original employee had bothered to make sure instead of attempting to send me back home with my device sitting there unclaimed.
I have had only POSITIVE experiences at the Menifee Best Buy. From sales associates to the management team there, they are great. Ive found everything I went to look at/purchase was in stock, readily displayed & the crew was more than happy to answer multiple questions about the various products. This store is absolutely clean all the time, and staffed by professional, no hard-sell employees.
Best buy is my favorite place to go for electronics. I love shopping there for computers televisions and appliances. They always have the latest models and their displays are great because I actually get to touch and see how the device actually works. I noticed they changed the displays with new models quite frequently. I also love that they have geek squad I can come out and install or repair any computer television or appliance that I have. I dont think anyother retailer has that service. GREAT Job Best buy!
Best buy is a great store where I go to get all my computers televisions appliances and little peripheral cables. I really love that I can buy the equipment there and then have a technician come to my house to set it up without the hassle of doing it myself. One word of advice you should get the warranty that they offer just in case something goes wrong with your device the manufacturer warranty that comes with your product that you dont pay anything for is very limited and typically will not fix your issues with your device.
I was looking to buy a laptop and not one employee came to ask if I needed any help, which I did. They helped other customers that arrived after me however my presence continued to be ignored. I was dressed casual as was everyone else that was helped. The people that were helped did not ask the employees for help they were approached by the employees if they needed any help or had any questions. I decided to remain in the section for a while longer looking inquisitive and showing interest in purchasing one of the laptops. However, no change whatsoever, I remained ignored. I later left the store with no questions answered and without a laptop. I will be making a purchase for a laptop at a different location or perhaps even online. A lack in customer service is now that I think about it a probable cause to the increased online shopping people do. Why bother to to to a store when you receive no help, and possibly when you are helped its poor customer service, what I learned from this trip to this store is that my money does not matter here so I will not be returning to this store in the future.Im sure some people may say how simple would it be for you to have asked for help. I get that and I normally would however to be overlooked without any form of acknowledgement is unbelievable I do not believe I have ever had such an unsatisfactory shopping experience.
The General Manager is a really nice person and he cares about his employees and the consumers also known as customers. He exemplifies professionalism in every sense of the word. The last time I bought a television was in 13 years ago from Mission Valley Best Buy and I got a great deal on then a very expensive Pioneer Plasma TV and it just went out last month after over 12 years of trouble free watching. This new SONY 65’ OLED Master Series is really what they say it is and I feel so much better buying it from Best Buy instead of some out of state company that uses Amazon and there is a sense of trust when you spend a good amount of time face to face with the person trying to help you and answer your questions. Oh and yes Jeff did help me out but so did Mark who was the salesman that began the sale process for me. Bottomline is this for me and from me.....I know trust this store and will be buying here in the future other products. Store was clean, staff was friendly and I don’t see why they wouldn’t get a 5 star as they look like they like to help who ever walks through their doors.
Ok dont get me wrong, it is a great place with a large selection of electronics. HOWEVER! They are highly overpriced. I suggest that if you want to purchase an item, go online and find it cheaper. New Egg, Amazon, and other retailers will usually have a much better deal that Best Buy. This store is great to check out an item in person, but being in the computer industry, I know better than to buy from them. I give them 3 stars only because they do have a great customer service.
I have not been into a Best Buy store in many years. I have always considered them to have poor customer service. Truth be told I only went into the store to do some comparison shopping. I was thoroughly shocked to find competitive pricing, quick, helpful, and efficient service. Wow has the chain changed in a good way.
Ive always had good luck at this store. Ive boughten many things from them including my cell phone, 65 curved TV, 4K DVD player, movies and so on. The store is always clean and employees are very willing to help in whatever you need help with in their store. Prices could be a smidge better, but for a store that has everything, a little more at the register isnt going to kill me.
I used to love going to Best Buy, but this store was depressing. It was mostly empty, and they were out of most of the options of the item I came to buy. I ended up buying something I really didnt want since I didnt have time to order the one I wanted online, or wait for them to get it in stock.What happened to the energy and excitement that Best Buy used to have? I normally shop at a different one, so hopefully its just this one thats so lackluster.Eta: Ive gone back a few times since this review and I wanted to add that the sales associates who helped me were very nice and surprisingly knowledgeable, so Ive added another star.
Always friendly staff and a clean store here. I can find what Im looking for and theyre great about returns if something isnt what youre hoping itll be. Theyre great at helping you find what you need too if you need assistance and they price match from other stores too!
Best Buy isnt. Disabuse yourself of that notion immediately. This one is a smaller version of the full size stores. It is nice if you need something and dont mind paying the flooring fee. Note - the people here are not that knowledgeable, not that polite, and really not that interested. If you want that, you should look elsewhere.
Not really as fan anymore. They used to have a great collection of CDs and DVDs, forget that now.Okay really, I went in for a webcam so I can do my doctor visits, nope. No cheap logitech webcam. Their inventory is always janky.Blue shirts everywhere, but no one wants to help.
My experience was wonderful I was looking for a TV on there website I found one so I went to BestBuy spoke with Mark the sales rep. He showed me the box of the TV that I was looking for right away. I was concerned if it would fit my car so he went the extra mile and got a measuring tape went out with me to do the measurements to make sure the TV would fit. Found out the TV was a perfect fit.so I purchased it.He then told me to drive up to the front of Best buy and he loaded it up with another employee. Very easy and quick 👍👍 give two thumbs up.
I went in for a laptop sign said one open box for 50 cheaper then the original new. Went to purchase it I was told there either sold it or shipped it to another store thats fine but Id thats what they dis the should take down the sign. Or adjust for the inconvenience odd waiting then said they dont have it.
I was in and out in no time at all. Excellant service as soon as I was welcomed at the door. Immediately entered into conversation with a knowledgeable sales person. Next thing I know I was walking out the exit with everything I needed even a friendly voice thanking me and inviting me back. I know I will be back with my next project!
Amazing customer support, amazing best buy employees. They will go above and beyond to help you out and to price match anything in their store and I highly recommend this Best Buy over all the other Best Buy‘s I’ve been to. Also everyone that works here is extremely nice and very helpful and I love coming here 10 out of 10 will come again over and over and over again.
Too expensive for a store front. Amazon sells it for less and yet better service. Why do I need an 8k tv when there is no system for it?Ok update here after Bestbuy management sent me an email about their price guarantee. They will match any competitors as long as you point it out. I dont particularly like price guarantees cause if Im not aware of a less expensive item and dont point it out Im struck for the higher cost because of my ignorance. Id like to think regardless of who I am as a customer that Ill get an item from a store because its the least expensive price in town. Why should I, the potential customer be searching out all the different competitors to find the lowest price? If you are known as a reputable company with a great price for great items in your stores that would gain my trust that you are the best buy in town and not just another store with another gimmick in hand. THIS IS WHY AMAZON IS LEADING THE INDUSTRY AND LEAVING COMPETITORS BEHIND!!! I know whats in the box. Just give the customer the best service and the best price and youll be the BEST BUY around and very successful in such a competitive market. I used to go here for everything, but lately I have been losing faith in their ability to help me.Last couple of times I came in for help, I was told my laptop was a lost cause. Of course they would try and sell me a new one.Thats pretty sad, thats not why best buy was originally created. It was to help the customer first and provide them with a service.
The best brick and mortar electronic store left standing... always wait for the sales and be careful about extended warranties which is where they make most of their profits. The extended warranty is good to have on some products but not on all products which adds a large percentage to the price of the product!
The in-store purchasing experience was fine. Once they have your money though, all customer service vanishes. We went in for something simple enough, an over-the-oven microwave, and thought it convenient to have delivery and installation facilitated by the store. We were told the first available delivery day was in two weeks. We were told someone would call the day before to narrow down our appointment window to two hours. When we did receive the call, the automated message stated our delivery time would be between 12 noon and 4:00 pm. Im fine with waiting two weeks and then another 4 hours on the day of delivery, however, thats assuming they are actually going to show up!After talking with 4 different people, being on hold for a total of about 30 minutes, finding out Best Buy outsources delivery and installation of certain appliances to a third party, I still did not have the microwave I purchased two weeks prior.By 7:00 pm, I left for my local store expecting an apology and full refund, but was met with unapologetic skepticism (by the manager) in the form of an insinuation that I was possibly lying about the delivery people not showing up. I can understand questioning the authenticity of a customers story, however handling that uncertainty in an unprofessional manner isnt acceptable.After waiting some time in their area for disgruntled customers, I was finally issued a full refund, though through some obvious reluctance. Apparently, the manager wasnt able to reach the third-party delivery company, called Optima or something very close to that. I was not issued any explanation as to why I had to take an afternoon off work to wait around fruitlessly for Best Buys delivery service.If youd like to actually receive the goods and services you pay for, Id suggest staying well clear of Best Buy.
I want to say these guys really work to find a solution. I had a warranty issue the issue was on their part but after 2 week of talking to their corporate office they figured it out. I ended up with a newer better product. 2 weeks without a cellphone was not cool. Thats the only reason they got 4 instead of 5 stars. The store is clean and well stocked.
Won’t ever be back rude management gave me the wrong computer, I payed almost 1000 dollars s they have me a 400 dollar computer. Then took them over an hour to take the thing back and refused to offer me anything for wasting so much of my time got a refund and purchased at another store. The female manager in the morning needs to be fired she is rude to her employees in front of customers, and treated me like I was a waste of her time.
It is impossible to get a hold of this location. My sister ordered a new refrigerator to have delivered today, and when the driver came to deliver her washer and dryer he said someone canceled her refrigerator when she tried calling no one answered. When someone finally did they hung up. So, I tried calling and got the same results. First off, my sister has proof of purchase on her phone and no cancellation was ever selected. Than to never answer their FN phone is poor customer service. Never again will any us order any product. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND COMMUNICATION!!!!
UPDATE:I’m still without a working washer machine 35 days later. This is such BS. Mark Devine of Geek squad is utter BS.DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM BEST BUY.DO NOT BUY EXTENDED WARRANTIES FROM BEST BUY.FTP.If you buy an extended warranty they (Best Buy and the 3D party company they hire to handle warranties) they will send out I competent technicians, make you be hold for 3+ hours (on two different calls) and give you the run around like you would believe. What BS. DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES from Best Buy. Btw - our Samsung washer won’t complete a cycle and keeps water in the bowl. It’s only two years old.
I made a purchase of a new 65 4K TV and purchased the extended warranty. After a year the TV stopped working. I called best buy to fix the TV under the extended warranty. After 2 months of sending people to my home it was determined the TV could not be fixed. They then said they would replace the TV as per the agreement on the warranty which took them another month to figure out. At this point they gave me a used TV that did not have all the features or quality of my original TV, it was also missing the legs, remote, and instruction manuals. The used TV had all the accounts such as Netflix, Disney, Hulu etc. logged in to by another customer that purchased the TV used it for a few months and returned it. I reached out to Best Buy Corporate, Contacted the Better Business Bereau, Went to the store, and Contacted the department of consumer affairs. After all this, Best Buys stance is that the used TV is the last thing they are willing to do. Based on this if you are going to spend thousands on a TV dont get it from Best Buy and dont waste your money on the extended warranty because they will waste your time and give you a used TV in the end. Also remember to remove your accounts from your TV if you return it. I did a reset of this TV because I am an honest person but someone less honest could have taken advantage of the previous customer.
I really did not like my first experience at all with this store. i wasnt planing on returning my computer with a receipt. but i was told by several employees that there would still be an exchange. so i called your store directly but was transferred to another state, who then sent me to the actual store. i talked to Pam who even tho i told her my situation with no receipt and what i was looking for, gave me instructions to bring it in anyway. from there i asked to talk to a sales associate directly by name, and almost as if they completely ignored me told me they would be right with me. while there was one costumer next to me being helped and 5 other employees standing behind the counter, including an MOD. Finally when the MOD Pam, came over to me the first thing that came out of her mouth was sorry we cant help you without a receipt this is the same Pam i talked to on the phone. my obvious response being that i was told not only by her, but others that it wasnt an issue. i cant believe i as a customer am having to push any help that i can get. I even went as far as them having me call my bank to get my old card number to look it up. witch once i got it took more then enough time to only give me a response that it had been too long since i had purchased it. Most of the other employees where actually nice. It was the MOD Pam that surprised me the most. completely lacking in customer service. Rude, not at all understanding the situation she puts costumers in, wasting my time and my gas for i guess her reason of dealing with costumers like me. i understand the return policy. but i was told they could find another way. They did find a way, after i requested we try something else, but there was still another reason they could not further help me. And i had spent a great deal of money on this computer based on a recommendation from the electronics section. It in fact did not do what he said it would so i was simply looking to trade in and find the correct computer at the same price. i do not think i will be returning to this store, and my trust with Best Buy has made me consider finding a more helpful and customer orientated store. I have three jobs that all deal with costumer service. i understand you may be having a rough day and that you are still people, but its showing up to work professionally that gets you paid not the hours.
What can I say? Its a Best Buy. Bit smaller than the usual ones. But apparently if you compare prices on multiple products - I was replacing all of my gaming peripherals. You, instead of getting someone thats knowledgeable about the stuff and helping, youll get stalked by a guy hiding around the next aisle thinking you arent going to notice that he hasnt really done anything in 20 minutes.
This Best Buy has great customer service! A person returned my broken item and switched it out for a new product even though it was a few days after the in store warranty instead of making me mail it out to the company themselves and waiting for the return to come back, you just got yourself a customer!
Well I was in there for about an hour and not a single employee asked me if I needed help. Finally I got fed up and asked 6 different employees for help to just get ignored and get no service. By far the worst Best buy Ive been to and I wont be going back. But I will say that the customer service counter was very helpful and friendly. Long story short unless you are doing JUST a return, go elsewhere.
Well stocked store with good variety unlike its sister store in Menifee. Employees are always helpful and pleasant. Return policy is great in case something doesnt work out for you and your purchase. Store is always clean and plenty of parking. Conveniently located near other types of stores and restaurants.
Ive always been treated well at best buy and this store is no exception. Some folks go in at their peak busy time and complain about lack of service - which is lame. They are generally well staffed and Ive found the staff to be helpful.Additionally, the store is clean (including the bathrooms) and cool, there is plenty of parking, and the prices are competitive.
9 times out of 10 they dont have what I want. I do a lot of computer upgrading, so this review is from that point of view. The staff is helpful but often times hard to find. When they do have what I want, I am generally happy with the result, but call before you waste your time trying to buy a computer component here. They probably dont have what you need.
Selection isnt what it use to be. That being said the staff is great. Yes, if you call you will be on hold for a long time, but when you go into the store you will see they are usually busy. Very few times do you see staff just standing around talking to each other. Geek squad here is helpful. I come here a lot.

Rude geek squad employee. I am a long time Best Buy exclusive customer and have never been treated so rudely at a best buy. I am a premium rewards zone member. I have used geek squad countless times, and have never had to make an appointment to talk to someone. When I bought my protection plan, was I told you can only drop off with an appointment or get out?...Nope! If this best buy does require appt, then you could be polite. Saying, well its been three years of appointment only in a condescending tone. That is uncalled for. No other best buy requires only appointments in the rest of the country, which I have been to many from east coast to the west and in between.
The only best buy Ive had continuous issues with. Quick backstory especially toward this last incident. I was building a pc, needed a hard drive and Operating System, perfect. Went online, found the murrieta store had my hdd and Menifee had the OS. Ordered and paid for both online and went for in store pickup right when they were ready. (Apx an hour after the orders were placed. Went to murrieta, got an hdd no issue staff was fantastic, even tried to see if they could do anything to help me there.This is the fun part.Went to this location to pick up my OS that said it was ready. Went in, front desk staff at the pick up was super nice, she was frantically going around and thought maybe someone stole it. We waited a few minutes. THE SALES GUY HAS THE NERVE TO WALK UP, OFFER TO HELP. SHE TELLS HIM, HE LAUGHS, AND THEN TELLS US BOTH HE PULLED IT OUT OF THE BIN AND SOLD IT TO SOMEONE ELSE BEFORE I GOT THERE. He laughed at us, walked away. She sincerely apologized but nobody did anything that I saw about this. So then, I had to order the OS at Temecula, the only store within 250 miles that had it, much, much more expensive. All I needed was home and I ended up having to buy pro to build 1 pc. A massive waste of that copy. Good job Menifee store, youre the terrible store surrounded by all good stores 👍 👏

I purchased an 18 hundred dollar washer and only paid 500 dollars because it was a display model. Perfect and brand new. I love that about best buy. Its the best

2022-07-03Unfortunately Best Buy is loosing a lot of my business. It used to be my favorite store but since November last year evey time I go or purchase something online from them there is an issue and have to end up returning or canceling the item. Staff now at days also dont care about customer service and had issues even with the manager. its sad to see and say this but is what is happening.

2022-06-04Received an email for a recalled item and directions to return it to the store. Cleaned the appliance, took it to the store, and waited in line for 10 minutes. I finally had a store representative help me. She proceeded to tell me that they would probably not give immediate credit for the item. I expected this and it was fine. She then, however, verified my information and handed me a tiny printout saying that I can go to a website for directions on how to return the appliance. I realize that it is not necessarily the stores fault or their policy, though it was still an inconvenience and frustrating.

2022-02-26I would not recommend this Best Buy. They make you stand around for 15 minutes before a third employee comes over and asks if youve checked in. Cort, who says hes the manager, didnt even acknowledge I was there at all. Also they do not explain theres a deductible when getting the service plan, which ends up costing more than the device itself. Horrible customer horrible service department, horrible store, since this is the main on-site manager!

2022-05-19The store is as youd expect from a best buy, decently stocked, isles free of products. My only complaint is the que system, I had a simple yes or no question and was told I needed to be placed in the que for help? The store wasnt busy, I walked up to a free employee. Wasnt enough to make me stop shopping here but felt it needed to be mentioned.

2022-05-03Oddly large store, too many laptop choices, few PC Towers, sales person not really helpful, basically get one in stock, move on, not believable info. Same behavior when I wanted a refrigerator, even tried Pacific Store after, nicer reps there but I bought both units elsewhere. Waste of my time.

2022-04-24Staff was helpful with finding product on the floor room. Knowledge of smart devices from the staff was lacking ( unless it was an apple). Accessories were sparse and employees even recommend looking at cough (Amazon) cough.But lastly was the lack of customer service when it came to checking out. I was offered the extended warranty with little to no knowledge of what it covers. I asked if paperwork was present at the booth Im the front of the store and was told no. To be specific i was told ,if you have a smartphone.....you can look it up online. This was an almost 100 dollar addition to my purchase and no information as to what it covered could be given. No paperwork, no examples, no instruction of registry, saving my receipt, simply nothing. Just take the workers word for it, even though they might not be there much longer. Needless to say I did not purchase from this branch and probably wont look to best buy as a whole for a while (a $500 loss for them). Im sure they could care less, but this can spell disaster if it is not addressed. In my opinion brick and mortar stores are still essential, but they need to invest in the employees that represent the company. I found the item at Costco at a better price with the extended warranty included and the concierge was helpful in answering my questions about the warranty. They even offered an extended warranty for total coverage of 5 years. Today was the first time. Ive stepped foot in a best buy in almost 5 years and now I remember why. Do your homework I hope this helps someone make a big financial decision. Have a good day.Lastly, the employees did tell me that I could purchase the extended warranty within the 2 weeks of purchase. But lets face it, most customers will not purchase if they are not in store when buying the item. So when a willing customer is present and ready to drop an extra $100, a little more effort into knowing the job could help.

2022-03-29We need a Frys back in business. They had on the spot pc (paid) diagnostic and youd get recommendation of upgrades to better your system. BestBuy has, in my personal opinion, the worst system in managing an IT department for customers. If your system is from a reputable brand, your system gets serviced thru its warranty, then you have to leave it for, as I was told, 3 to 5 up to 7 days depending on systems ahead of you for diagnostics. Then if you have a custom build, all they can do is check if theres a virus, malware, or diagnostic. Also I was recommended to leave to 5 days. My business depends on my desktop pc and I am pretty frustrated that Frys lost its battle in competency with other giant businesses like Best Buy, who lacks management knowhow in having the RIGHT people for that department and not kids who dont know what they are talking about when interviewing the customer. This I also believe is a tactic to make the consumer buy known brands instead of helping and guiding the customer in build a pc to the customers liking.I may have gone a little over with this review, but thats how I feel about it when the service I need is not available for same day service. If theres a fee for same day service, then let the customer know. But as I noticed, there were two young late teens working behind the counter (Geek) and when I asked a technical question, she said she didnt know. So, Best Buy, what can you do? Theres tons of people like me that need our systems to keep living, and there should be a reputable business that can offer that service, since Frys is gone, I was sure hoping Best Buy uped their game, but not the case.
